While in his temporary home in Japan, the New York born hero, Peter Parker, better known as Spider-Man, was seen going through some old files.
They were part of the Umbrella Database from years back. All the information on the fallen company, and all of its terrible planning.
"Umbrella's been under for years...yet somehow it just won't stay dead..." Peter lamented. "Fitting for a company that created zombies that even death won't stop it."
Peter looked to the side, spotting his wife in bed. It was late at night after all, and by all extents and purposes, he should be in bed as well, but he had gotten a request to look into this by an old friend of his, that being Jill Valentine.
"I'm glad Twilight's never been too knee deep in this stuff, of course she was having her own troubles at the time, thanks to Shinra and Sephiroth," Peter commented before focusing back on his work. "This company's gone, but the legacy is still very much alive. Especially thanks to Wesker still being around."
Moments later, he heard some vibrating. He looked to the side and spotted his phone buzzing. Given the hour, of course he wouldn't keep the ringer on. He grabbed the phone to answer.
"You got Spidey," the hero greeted.
"Spider-Man, it's me, Leon," Came the familiar voice on the other side of the phone call.
"Hey, what's up Leon? Do you need something?" Peter asked.
"Yeah, I was just speaking to Chris," Leon said. "Some B.S.A.A. Soldiers spotted something suspicious in some old building all the way out in Europe."
"Europe?" Peter asked. "What part of Europe?"
"It's in France," Leon said. "And it's not just any building, it belonged to Umbrella. It was their main headquarters."
"Right, I think I know the place," Peter said. "Claire went there once, right? When she was looking for Chris after The Raccoon City Outbreak?"
"Good memory," Leon said. "Chris wanted to go there with a Squad to check it out, but I suggested that instead of that, we try another method."
"Does that method include me tagging along?" Peter asked.
"Pretty much," Leon confirmed. "Whatever's here isn't anything for any generic solider, that's for sure. Chris is going to need a special team that knows this type of thing inside and out."
"A special team huh?" Peter asked. "Do we get our own personal stickers?"
"Funny," Leon commented.
"In all seriousness, I'm in," Peter confidently reassured.
"Wow, and I didn't even tell you the plan," Leon said. "Can't tell if you're brave or stupid."
"Maybe both. Still, you know I trust Chris just the same as you," Peter said. "Besides, I'm already pretty knee deep in this Umbrella stuff. I'll help out however I can."
"That's good, will it be alright to leave?" Leon said. "You are training those UA Kids."
"How long do you expect this to take?" Peter asked.
"With any luck...a couple of days," Leon said.
"I got time then," Peter said. "Just send me the coordinates."
With that, Peter was on his way. Fortunately, thanks to having a magical wife, he did not need to travel too far as Twilight created a portal taking him straight to France.
The two waited in front of an old building, with Peter glancing up at the structure, feeling a sense of dread, knowing just how terrible this place is.
The building was shut down of course, following the fall of Umbrella several years prior. But despite that, it maintained this ghostly aura about it. Given the horrors of Umbrella, and what they were capable of, just the sight of this building meant potential danger.
"I remember Chris telling me that this is where Claire got captured," Peter said.
"That must have been quite a turn of events for her," Twilight said.
"Hey...Twilight?" Peter turned to his wife. "You know, you don't have to stick around. This Umbrella thing, it's not really for you."
"I'll be fine, Peter," Twilight insisted. "Don't worry about me."
"Okay...if you say so," Peter said as he looked up yet again.
"Remember, I went against Shinra, and Sephiroth around this time," Twilight said. "I can handle a few zombies."
"Maybe we can call Cloud over or something," Peter joked.
"I think we're in good company already," Twilight said, then gestured to the side. "In fact, there they are."
Peter turned to see several of his allies making their way over, many of them having had experience against the B.O.W.s.
First was Chris Redfield, the leader of the B.S.A.A. His first experience against the zombies being the Mansion Incident in Raccoon City's Arklay Mountains. It was there that Umbrella's treachery was discovered, and the former S.T.A.R.S. Captain, Albert Wesker was exposed as a traitor.
Next came Jill Valentine. She was first introduced to this in the Arklay Mountains as well as a member of S.T.A.R.S., but Peter remembers meeting her in Raccoon City during the time of the citywide outbreak, and helping her fend off against the monster known as Nemesis.
Third was Leon Kennedy, the man who contacted Peter. He too is a Raccoon City Survivor, having arrived and escaped the city in the same day, avoiding the mutated Willaim Birkin and encountering Ada Wong.
Next was Claire Redfield, who also arrived in Raccoon City to survive against William Birkin. In the process, she rescued his daughter, Sherry Birkin. She is Chris's younger sister, and helped him put an end to the treachery caused by Alfred Ashford on Rockfort Island.
Next was Carlos Oliviera, someone else Peter met in Raccoon City during the Nemesis incident. The poor guy was a mercenary for Umbrella, not knowing just how terrible that company was until he saw for himself.
They all of course had their superhero friends.
First was Daisy Johnson, better known as Quake, who met Chris and Jill in the Arklay Mountains when S.H.I.E.L.D. went to investigate the outbreak. She managed to help the two along with some other survivors escape and began a path to destroying Umbrella, which Peter helped her, Chris and Jill with several years prior.
Next was Clint Barton, better known as Hawkeye. He showed up in Raccoon City during the citywide outbreak to assist Leon and Claire. He then accompanied Claire to Rockfort Island and put a stop to the treachery there.
Next was Natasha Romanoff, of Black Widow as she was also called. She met with Leon and Claire in Raccoon City as well when she went to investigate the outbreak. She, along with Leon, went on to stop a viral outbreak in South America, and then in Spain.
Next came Chun-Li, who had her first experience dealing with this in South America with Leon, Natasa and an agent named Jack Krauser, who would go on to betray them years later in Spain. She mostly competed in martial arts tournaments, but had a stake in this as well.
Afterwards was Remy LeBeau, better known as Gambit. He is a member of the X-Men who assisted in Raccoon City during the outbreak, and since then has lent his services when needed.
Joining him was his wife Applejack, an Equestrian native who also has experience in Raccoon City during the Citywide outbreak.
Coming in next was Barrett Wallace, a member of Avalanche, and someone with his own experience. He helped out on Rockfort Island, and has been on and off in his assistance regarding Umbrella.
Also joining was a man by the name of Bruce McGirven, who dealt with an outbreak on a Cruise Ship known as the Spencer Rain. His story was not as remarkable, but he was still a valued ally for this mission.
Lastly was officer Rebecca Chambers, who funny enough, had the first major experience with the zombie outbreak caused by Umbrella. She survived the Ecliptic Express alongside a man named Billy Coen, and put an end to the terrible leech infestation.
"Hey, is this everyone?" Peter greeted. "Wow, this is quite a line-up."
"Yeah, this is everyone that could be available," Leon said. "But truth be told, we would have liked a bit more."
"We reached out to Wolverine, Shadow, and even Barry," Jill said. "But they couldn't come."
"Wolverine's back in Japan, keeping the peace there," Peter said. "There's issues in that country too, as most of you know about."
"No kidding," Chris said.
"Shadow's got his own troubles, plus we're kind of rivalling Sally Acorn for his services, even if she doesn't like him," Peter said. "But everyone knows the only hedgehog I would have preferred to have around is Amy Rose."
"Got that right," Jill replied.
"Barry though, little surprising but I guess he has his reasons," Peter said.
"I'm the only one who could make it too," Barrett said. "But don't be surprised if Cloud or Tifa show up later. Rumor is that Sephiroth is around, and you know Cloud ain't going to be too far behind."
"Sephiroth huh?" Peter said. "Anyone else we should worry about?"
"There were reported sightings of Wesker and his little sidekick, Juri," Chris explained. "Beyond that, everything is unknown."
"My favorite odds," Peter said. "But still, I'm ready to go, are all of you?"
"Oui, mon ami," Remy twirled his staff. "Send me at them monsters, I send them back to hell myself."
"Same here," Applejack said. "And hey, looks like Twilight is joining."
"Of course, I would never let my friends down," Twilight said.
"You're a good lady, Twilight," Leon said.
Claire opened up the nearby doors, gesturing the others to follow, "Let's do this."
"Be careful Claire, it might be dangerous," Chris said.
"I know, don't worry, I'll be fine," Claire said.
"Are you sure? Last time you came here, you ended up in jail," Leon said.
"Yeah, and I had to go and bust you out," Clint added.
"Ironic for a hero to do that," Bruce pointed out.
"My friend Johnny and Twilight's friend Rainbow Dash are heroes who helped bust their friend Sonic out of jail once," Peter said. "Of course, it was G.U.N., and they're probably corrupt in their own ways."
"Weird to say considering we tried contacting Shadow, who has ties to gun," Chris said. "Same with Rouge and Omega."
"Like they're that loyal," Remy said.
As they went inside, a red hair woman spotted them in the distance while sporting a large smile on her face.
"I can't believe they're leaving me out of the action, that kind of hurts honestly," The girl said.
"You've encountered this before a lot of them," Came the voice of a guy with a red jacket. "Didn't you, Sunset?"
"You bet," Sunset Shimmer said. "Rebecca Chambers might recognize me. I remember that train incident too, better than most people."
Sunset recalled what happened in Raccoon City all those years ago.
It began on a train, the Ecliptic Express where a young Rookie cop named Rebecca Chambers had just landed after riding a helicopter. The girl was seen making her way to a nearby train for two reasons.
First reason, a lot of people had been mysteriously killed on the mountains, with reported monster sightings in these areas. It was unknown if this was quirk related or not, but the amount of deaths were obvious cause for concern for Raccoon City's S.T.A.R.S. unit.
The Bravo Team, led by Enrico Marini, had landed along with members Kenneth Sullivan, Forrest Speyer, Edward Dewey, Richard Aiken and Rebecca Chambers.
However, there was another potential danger. War criminal, Billy Coen was being transported when his vehicle was attacked, allowing him to escape.
They did not know that however, for shortly after landing, Rebecca had found the bodies of the soldiers, along with a document.
"Court order for transportation," Rebecca read. "Prisoner, Billy Coen. Ex-Liutenant, twenty-six years old. Prisoner being transported to Regarthon Base and executed."
"Those poor soldiers," Edward said. "They were good men doing their job, for that bastard to kill them without remorse is sickening."
"Looks like we're dealing with someone dangerous and ruthless," Enrico said. "Let's survey the area, and keep your guard up!"
"Does it say if he's a meta human?" Forrest asked.
"There's nothing here about that," Rebecca said.
"Alright, hopefully it's easy pickings for us," Richard said.
"Shame really, imagine us taking down a meta human," Forrest said.
"Hey, we're not exactly The Avengers, let's focus on what we can do," Richard said.
"Exactly, now enough dawdling," Enrico said. "Spread out!"
"Rebecca," Edward said. "Do you need me to come with you?"
"I'll be fine," Rebecca said. "It's good experience, right?"
"Right, just radio if anything's wrong," Edward said as he left.
Not long afterwards, the group had split up to find the prisoner, and bring him to justice.
What Rebecca found instead however could not be explained in mere words. Upon entering the train, she announced herself.
"This is Officer Chambers of the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team, please identify yourself," Rebecca walked around the car. "Is anyone there?"
She looked around the car and to her horror, she saw that everyone on board was dead. It was not a pretty sight, as many of them looked mauled in some ways with some bite marks on their faces.
Rebecca spotted a radio on the floor and picked it up to turn it off. While doing so however, she noticed the man standing back up again, no longer human.
"What in the world?" She took a step back as the man leaned forward, looking ready to lunge. She tried to run the other way, but was blocked by even more creatures.
This was nothing like Rebecca's seen before, and the situation was quite terrifying for the eighteen-year-old rookie cop. Having no choice, she pulled out her gun and began to fire, killing the first monster in front of her. She then turned around and fired at the other monsters, killing them after a few shots, even blowing the head off of one, the girl grimacing at the sight of the blood.
"What just happened...?" Rebecca asked as she glanced at her gun in fear before focusing on the defeated monsters, still terrified by what happened. "I thought they were dead..."
This was Rebecca's first taste of the terror she was about to endure. But fortunately she would not be alone.
As she explored more of the train, she came across a body of an employee that looked to have been brutally torn apart. "Poor guy." She picked up some train keys that he had, which would grant her easier access to the Dining Car.
As she searched him some more to find anything else of use, she heard some footsteps behind her, as well as the click of a gun. She slowly turned around and came face to face with a man she had never met, but recognized from his photo ID outside.
"Billy...Lieutenant...Coen," Rebecca said
"So, you know who I am..." Billy responded. "Have you been fantasizing about me?"
"You're that prisoner that was being transported for execution," Rebecca said. "You were with those soldiers outside."
"Oh, I see...you're with Staaaars," Billy said in an almost sinister tone as he began to leave. "Well, sorry to say honey, but your kind doesn't seem to want me around. I'm afraid our little chat time is over."
"Wait!" Rebecca began to pursue him. "You're under arrest."
"No thanks, Doll-Face," Billy said as he lifted his left arm to show that he had been cuffed. "I've already worn handcuffs."
"I could shoot, you know!" Rebecca warned. That warning fell on deaf ears as Billy simply made his exit, leaving Rebecca very frustrated. She turned around to take a breath, trying to figure the situation out when she heard some glass breaking. She turned around and spotted her friend Edward jumping through a window.
He looked terrible however, the man suffered from many injuries as he tried to hold himself together.
"Edward!?" Rebecca ran to her colleague, checking on his wounds. "What happened?"
"It's worse than...we can't..." Edward tried to find the words, but his injuries made it hard for him to speak. "You must be careful Rebecca. The forest is full of zombies, and other monsters."
"Zombies...?" Rebecca recalled the people in the first cart just as her friend keeled over from the pain. "Edward!"
Suddenly a zombie dog burst through the window and snarled at Rebecca. Reacting quickly, she pulled her gun out and fired just as it lunged at her. Another dog came, to which Rebecca rolled out the way and fired, killing the creature after a few shots.
The girl wiped her head in relief, but was still shaken up. Her heart was racing as she looked down at the blood dripping down from the monsters, amazed this was even real.
She turned back to her friend, the poor girl feeling very saddened over his passing. "Edward...you were so happy just a little while ago..."
Sad as she was, she had to keep going and figure out the situation.
She proceeded to the Dining Car, hoping to get more answers when she got a call from her teammates.
"This is Rebecca, over," The girl greeted.
"Rebecca, can you hear me?" Enrico asked. "This is Enrico, what's your location? Over?"
"Enrico?" Rebecca asked. "Hello, can you read me? Please respond."
"Rebecca, I can hear you," Enrico said. "Now listen up, we've obtained some intel on the fugitive from a document found in the wrecked wagon. Billy Coen is responsible for the deaths of twenty-three people."
"...Twenty-three?" Rebecca asked in disbelief.
"Keep your guard up, this man is ruthless," Enrico confirmed.
This worried Rebecca, and it definitely added to his mysterious aura from before.
"Rebecca!?" Enrico said. "Stay safe, and..."
The static took over, leaving the call on hold, "Enrico? Captain!? Hello!" No response, Rebecca was once again on her own. "So many people...He seemed kind of dangerous, yet..."
She had no time to ponder, she merely made her way to a car where the kitchen was. She still had her gun ready, but just as she was about to explore more, she heard some noise behind her.
She turned around and spotted Billy, but he did not pose a threat, instead he merely gave a warning.
"It's going to be dangerous from here on in," Billy said. "We should cooperate."
"Cooperate with you?" Rebecca asked in disbelief.
"Listen little girl, if you haven't already noticed, there's some freaky shit on this train," Billy said. "I'd like to get out of here without getting myself killed, and I imagine you'd want to live too. I doubt we'll survive if we're alone."
"You honestly expect me to trust you? A wanted felon?" Rebecca asked. "I don't need help; I can handle this on my own. Also, do not call me little girl."
"Alright Miss Do-It-Yourself, what should I call you?" Billy asked as he playfully tapped her head.
"It's Rebecca Chambers," the girl said. "But that's Officer Chambers to you."
"Well then, Rebecca," Billy said as he blocked the door. "Why don't you go and try, while I wait here?"
"I think I will," Rebecca said as she marched upstairs.
Billy looked on, curious by this girl's determination. "She's going to get herself killed. Fool."
Rebecca made her way upstairs, spotting an old man sitting alone at a dining table. Curiously she walked over to the man, hoping to get his attention.
"Excuse me sir..." Rebecca placed her hand on his shoulder. "Sir?" Suddenly, his head fell off, with his body falling apart right after, freaking Rebecca out as what looked like leeches began to materialize.
She fired away ay the creatures but they slowly started to overwhelm her. This was terrifying to the girl, and Rebecca believed she was going to die.
Fortunately someone had come to shoot the leeches off of her. She expected it to be one of her teammates, but surprisingly, it was Billy.
"Hey, are you alright?" Billy asked.
"Y-yeah," Rebecca said, offering a thumbs up. "Did he save me?"
Curiously, they heard some singing coming from outside, and looked to see a man with a white robe out in the rain as leeches maneuvered over to him.
"Who is that guy?" Billy asked, then felt the train suddenly moving. "Now what!?"
"Who's moving the train?" Rebecca asked.
"If you want to know, you should check out the first engine car," Billy said. "But first, we need to cooperate with each other."
Rebecca shook her head in denial, "Sorry, but I can't-"
"Get a clue, or do you want to be worm bait?" Billy asked. "Instead of marching off like you're Wonder Woman, accept that you're just human, that we're human and dealing with something dangerous!"
"...Fine, but if you try anything funny, I will shoot you myself," Rebecca warned.
"Fine, whatever," Billy grabbed a radio. "You do what you need to do, call me if you find anything."
"Sure..." Rebecca said.
"Also, you didn't come alone, did you?" Billy asked.
"No, I came with a squad..." Rebecca remembered Edward. "One of them is dead though. Those monsters got to him."
"Probably because he was alone," Billy said.
"...Those soldiers outside, were you the one who killed them?" Rebecca asked.
"No, those freakish leeches showed up," Billy said. "I escaped the first chance I got. I wasn't sure if help was coming at all, so I hid here."
"I see..." Rebecca said.
"Well, don't waste time," Billy said. "Get going. With any luck you can contact your S.T.A.R.S. buddies, or better yet, someone with enough power to stop these things."
With that, the unlikely alliance between Billy Coen and Rebecca Chambers took initiative. The train ride was anything but easy.
They had to maneuver around the car for a bit, trying to find anything they could to get the train to stop. Due to the front car being locked, that meant looking for a key, which for them, was like finding a needle in a haystack.
They searched a car on the second floor, having gone up from a ladder in the Conductor's Room. While there, they spotted what looked like bar, with a young girl holding what looked like a briefcase.
"Hey, you there!" Rebecca said, getting her attention. "Is everything okay? Are you hurt?"
The girl in question was Sunset Shimmer, who quickly took a step back, "Who are you?"
"I'm Officer Rebecca Chambers from S.T.A.R.S.," Rebecca introduced. "What's your name?"
"Sunset Shimmer," the girl introduced.
"That's a weird name," Billy replied.
"Yeah, I'm aware," Sunset lamented. "That's the curse of being born in Equestria, worst country in the world."
"Equestria?" Billy asked. "Where's that?"
"I think it's in Europe," Rebecca focused on Sunset. "Listen, I don't know how you got here-"
"Me neither," Sunset said. "I got lost trying to get someplace. Never expected to be surrounded by zombies and creepy leeches."
"Well, you're safe with us," Rebecca said. "Now if you would just join us, we can-"
Suddenly they heard a large thump on the roof, this freaking Sunset out.
"What the hell's happening?" Sunset asked. The roof thumped again, and a giant Scorpion came crashing through, startling present. "Holy shit!"
"AH!" Rebecca nearly fell over as Billy aimed his gun.
"You've gotta be kidding me!" Billy began firing at the monster, but the bullets just bounced off its tail. It then swung and nearly got Billy, to which he ducked out the way.
"I got this!" Sunset aimed her finger tips and fired a magical blast, right at the Scorpion's head.
"What in the...!?" Rebecca said in disbelief.
"Are you a meta human!?" Billy asked.
"Kind of, this is normal for me," Sunset said. Her being distracted allowed the Scorpion to attack again, knocking her out of the nearby window.
"Sunset!" Rebecca rushed to the window, seeing that the girl was gone. "No!"
"Hey, focus or we're next!" Billy fired his gun at the spot where Sunset blasted. Fortunately her attack weakened the monster enough so that Billy could do some damage. "At least that girl ay have saved our lives."
Billy kept firing as Rebecca went in to help, getting her own shots at the monster. The girl however got whacked far enough to go crashing through a door.
"Rebecca!" Billy kept firing, hoping to kill the monster and fast, but he too took a whack that sent him flying back.
Rebecca pulled herself up, then spotted a Hunting Rifle. She grabbed it and opened it up to see if it was loaded. "Looks like it only has two bullets to use. Hopefully that's enough."
As Billy fired again, Rebecca ran over with the gun and aimed.
"Where'd you find that!?" Billy asked.
"Back there," Rebecca fired once, but got knocked back. Billy picked up the rifle and fired once himself, getting a critical strike that finally put an end to the monster as it slowly succumbed to its injures and died.
Billy wiped his head, relieved to have ended this before it got worse. He looked to the side and spotted Rebecca pulling herself up. "Are you hurt?"
"I'm fine," Rebecca said, then looked out the window. "Sunset..."
"Hey, maybe she's alright," Billy said. "She's a meta human, so she's probably durable."
"I hope so," Rebecca spotted the briefcase she had, opening it up to find something amazing. "It's the card that will release the electronic to the Engine Car!"
"Perfect!" Billy said. "Come on!"
The two ran to the engine car and figured out what to do from there. The train was moving too fast to stop regularly, so their best bet was an emergency stop, but it was a complicated procedure. One was to remain in the front car while the other rushes to the back to apply the brakes there.
It was a slightly complicated plan, but nothing a little teamwork couldn't handle.
"I can handle the back," Rebecca said. "Billy, you stay and stop in from the front."
"Okay," Billy said as Rebecca ran toward the back of the car. "Really hope this works..."
As Rebecca ran through the cars, she came across a terrible sight. What was once her friend Edward was nothing more than another zombie.
"Edward...no..." Rebecca said, feeling saddened by what had become of her friend. Reluctantly, she pulled out her gun and put the zombie out of its misery. "I'm sorry Edward, I never wanted this to happen."
She had no time to grieve, she pressed forward and reached the back of the car. Upon doing so, she found the lock release that would allow her to apply the breaks from her end.
"Billy, I'm here, get ready!" Rebecca said over the radio.
"Got it!" Billy replied.
The two set off their breaks at the same time, causing the train to come to an abrupt stop. There was a brief moment of regret as the train completely derailed and crashed into a nearby warehouse.
The resulting damage caused a large fire as both Billy and Rebecca were thrown out the train.
Billy was the first to recover, feeling a little injured, but was more worried about the girl. "Rebecca?" He called for the cop. "Rebecca!"
"I'm here!" Rebecca said, coughing a bit as she pulled herself up while Billy went to check on her.
"Are you alright?" Billy looked around. "Looks like you managed to stop the train."
"We managed," Rebecca clarified. She looked around and saw that they were in some building. "I wonder where we are?"
"I'm not sure," Billy said. "Come on, let's look around. Maybe we can find help."
"Sure," Rebecca said as she and Billy went through a nearby door.
They walked through some sewers and then up a ladder taking them though a hatch. On the other side, they saw that they were in a large building.
Unknown to them, Sunset Shimmer was still alive and well, as she too pulled herself up from the fire.
"Stupid train, what the hell's even going on here?" She looked toward the door, remembering the duo from earlier. "I bet they have some answers."
Just as she was about to follow, she heard some moans nearby. She saw that several zombies were standing, and walking toward her.
"Oh, you wanna play? Bang!" Sunset fired at a zombie and blew its head off, leaving a mess of blood sprouting out. "Ha! Loser! Who's next!?"
Meanwhile Billy and Rebecca were exploring the new location that they found.
"What is this place?" Billy asked.
"I'm not sure," Rebecca said as she looked around. She then saw a picture of an old man. "Look...you think that's the owner?"
Billy walked up some stairs to read what was under the picture, "James Marcus?"
"Do you know him?" Rebecca asked.
"I heard of him, I think," Billy said. "I think he worked with Umbrella. Beyond that, he and some others guys were old business partners with Shinra."
"The Chemical Plant?" Rebecca asked.
"Umbrella and Shinra are partners," Billy confirmed. "This guy may have helped with that."
"Maybe..." Rebecca said.
Unkown to them, two men were secretly watching over them via a recording.
"Who on Earth are they?" A man named William Birkin asked.
"That girl is a Rookie from S.T.A.R.S." a man named Albert Wesker answered.
"And the male?" Birkin asked.
"Him, I do not know," Wesker said.
Suddenly a voice came on the intercom, the same voice that startled Billy and Rebecca "Attention, this is Doctor Marcus. Please be silent as we reflect upon our company motto. Obidience breeds Discipline. Discipline breeds Unity. Unity breeds Power. Power is life."
Suddenly the same man in a robe appeared on a monitor, spooking Birkin. "Who are you!?"
"It was I who spread the T-Virus in the Mansion," The man said. "Needless to say, I contaminated the train too."
"Contamination?" Birkin asked.
"Revenge...on Umbrella," the man said as he began singing once again to control the leeches to his bidding.
"This could be trouble..." Wesker said. "Hopefully he's out there and keeping an eye on this..."
Not too far away from the building was the former Shinra Soldier, Sephiroth, who had just seen the train derail.
"Looks like trouble's brewing," Sephiroth said. "Wesker, where will you go from here?"
Back in the present, Rebecca seemed to be worried about what was too come as she also remembered that day. It was a very vivid memory for the girl.
"You alright, Rebecca?" Peter asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," Rebecca said. "This isn't anything new for me after all. So there's nothing to be afraid of, right?"
"There's always something to be afraid of," Chris said.
"Kind of blunt there, Chris," Twilight scolded.
"I'm not trying to be, but pretending that this isn't dangerous is stupid," Chris said. "Fear is not a weakness, it's a strength that everyone, man or woman, should use advantageously."
"I get his point," Chun-Li said. "Gear breeds caution. A lack of fear isn't bravery, it's stupidity."
"Actually, bravery and stupidity can go hand in hand," Peter said. "So maybe a lack of fear is brave. But it's not always wise. After all, this is a dangerous situation, and it's only nature to fear what could lead to your death."
"Yeah, you're right," Rebecca said. "I guess I still feel a little scared. But I'm not letting that stop me."
"Exactly, because you show true courage," Peter said. "Even I get scared. The thing is I'm more scared of people I care about getting hurt, and I'm afraid of what could happen to people if we don't handle this situation. Fear is only bad if it controls us, but used right, it can be a driving force."
"What are you, a fortune cookie?" Leon teased.
"Be nice Leon," Claire said. "He's not wrong after all."
"Yeah, I know, but still..." Leon said.
"Peter's just easing the tension in his own way," Jill said. "That's what makes him special."
"Makes him fun to be around too," Bruce said.
"Got that right, mon ami," Remy added.
"Honestly, if we're together, there ain't much to fear," Applejack said. "We got this."
"Damn right we do," Chris said as he led everyone. "Let's go save the world."
Outside, Sunset was seen walking toward the entrance to the building, looking ready for a fight.
She carefully opened the door, no spotting anyone aside from a dark and very empty room.
"Chris and the others definitely have their reasons for being here, but so do we," Sunset said. "Tell me, are you ready for a family reunion?"
The silver hair man twirled his dual guns, "Let's rock, baby."
The two went to join their allies, ones who didn't even know they had company as they too were deep inside the building.
Things were about to get chaotic, just the way these thrill seekers liked it.
