It had been a week since Alastor proposed to Isadora they haven't set a date yet but both agreed they did not want a big wedding cause both viewed such displays as frivolous nonsense. She excitedly told her friends who said they were happy for her and jokingly told her she couldn't wear her combat boots to her wedding. Angel offered to do her hair for her cause he said her signature hairstyle was to do nothing with her hair to which Isadora replied with a Contentious ' ha ha.' Husk And Vaggie didn't give much of a reaction to it which Isadora didn't mind cause she was not particularly close with either one of them. Nifty beamed with excitement cause she said she loved weddings, Isadora had grown quite fond of Nifty and in recent weeks began to hang out with her they would do light hearted things like grab Ramen or a Boba tea, Isadora was surprised to Learn that Nifty was actually Japanese in life and would beam brightly when Isadora asked her about her culture. In fact it seemed like one of the few times Nifty seem to root into reality cause she noticed Nifty tended to be chaotic and disassociated into her own world sometimes.

She was also surprised when Nifty told Isadora her real name was Hannah when she was alive. Most sinners adopt a new name in Hell because it symbolizes that since they technically became a new being all together and are reborn as a demon they Change their name to symbolize their rebirth. Isadora and Alastor were one of the few sinners who did not adopt this custom, Isadora liked her name so why change it? Isadora also found it funny when Nifty made her a crown of roaches and cigarette butt's stuck together with gum and told Isadora that since she was marrying Alastor she will now be ' Queen Roach' Isadora had no idea what that Meant but found it endearing and hilarious and graciously accepted her new title. Later that evening Alastor explained that about a year ago at the old hotel Nifty dubbed him ' King Roach' out of nowhere and thought it was humorous so the random dubbing of being crowned ' queen roach' by Nifty made a little bit more sense.

Today was Isadora's off day and she decided she was going to spend her morning on the high balcony and drink her coffee in quiet solitude and have a quiet morning but upon approaching the balcony she saw Charlie sitting out there softly crying. Charlie didn't notice Isadora standing outside the glass. Isadora contemplated just walking away but something in her told her to ask if she was okay

" Charlie?" Isadora said softly tapping on the glass as she slid the balcony door open. Charlie looked up in surprise and quickly wiped away her tears.

" Sorry I was just taking in the air I will be out of your way!" She said trying to sound like her usual eager self.

"You were crying so I was seeing if you were okay if you do not want to talk about it it is okay I respect your boundaries" Isadora said as she stepped out onto the balcony and set her coffee on the table and lit a cigarette.

" No, it's okay…the whole thing with my mother just got to me today." Charlie said and sighed leaning over the balcony.

" Oh…" Isadora said taking a drag of her cigarette she waited for Charlie to continue it was agreed upon by Vaggie and most of the staff andLucifer to not bring up what they called the 'Lilith incident.'

" How could I have been so stupid?' Charlie said choking up " She was gone for seven years and she disconnected her cell phone, I told myself for 7 years that she was off doing something important cause I didn't want to admit she straight up abandoned me, and I find the whole time she was living her best life in heaven and the only reason she came back was because she was threatened by Lute that she couldn't stay there unless she stopped the hotel. Like…fuck…she just left me behind and wanted to forget about me and our people and all of hell, no wonder I couldn't get ahold of her she didn't want to be found. Like how could you just abandon your own daughter and only come back because I put a threat on your happiness. I was an idiot in denial and I should have acknowledged the obvious signs!" She said as tears streamed down her face and she wiped them away with her sleeve. Isadora sighed and leaned over the balcony next to Charlie.

"You are not stupid," Isadora said and took another drag of her cigarette " We are conditioned by society to believe that our parents are infallible super heros who can never let us down, we are told to believe and trust in them to never fail us and to love us unconditionally cause that is a parents automatic job. But what society doesn't realize is that some people are not meant to be parents and do not have it in them to be one so when they so woefully fail us, it hurts all the more and it makes you think that it was your fault when in reality some parents just suck and it has nothing to do with you. And it didn't have anything to do with you Charlie it honestly didn't, some people are just that damn selfish. And there are parents who are so wrapped up in their own personal Demons and sadness they don't realize they are failing their kids until it's too late and that relationship Is too late to repair. Even tho it hurts take solace in the fact your dad realized it before it was too late and He's here now and he is trying. Take comfort with each other because you need to be each other's support system cause ironically you are both grieving the same person but for different reasons. Feel your feelings, cause it will hurt and it will for a long Time but one day it won't hurt as much, one day you will know her actions had no bearing on you, and one day down the line you will understand how much you needed to hear what I said even though it may seem like it now. But the bottom line Charlie, some people just plain out suck but ultimately you will be okay. I promise. Sadly I know from experience so I can tell you it will be okay." Isadora put a sympathetic hand on Charlies shoulder, Charlie gave her a side hug and a small smile.

" Thanks Isadora for taking the time to tell me it will be okay…I needed to hear that even though it may take time to believe it." She said wiping away a small tear, Isadora put out her cigarette on the balcony railing and told her it was no problem, Charlie gave a small nod and left. Isadora sipped her coffee In quiet reflection over what she said to Charlie and how relatable It was to her when a lwa appeared before her.

Alastor was in his room in front of the fireplace In his room when he heard a soft knock followed by Isadora walking in.

" Darling you know you don't need to knock to come in!" He exclaimed as he got up to hug her. Isadora looked up at him with a contemplative look.

" Hey….could I ask you a question?" She asked softly he looked down at her and noticed behind her one of her lwa was there

" Yes….." He replied slowly when a lwa was by her it usually meant trouble so he had no idea what she may ask other than it can't be good.

" Who did you make a deal with?"
