Chapter 15
(With the group)
Naruto and the others were sitting at the docks outside Fuchsia City, as they made plans on how to get to Cinnabar Island.
["So what's the plan?"] Kurama asked curiously, as he ate some Pokefood, along with some of the other Pokemon.
"Well, seeing as we need to go by the Seafoam Islands, and from what I hear it's pretty dangerous, I think it would be safer if we go by ship" Naruto said, as he held up his Pokenav, that was showing images of what looked like twin islands, which was surrounded by whirlpools.
"Pass!" Will yelled, as she gave a thumbs down at this.
"Yea, we have been going through the ringer lately. So let's take this time to relax a bit" Misty said with a smile.
"Yea. I heard that Cinnabar has the best hot springs in the entire Kanto region" Serena said with a smile, as she held up a pamphlet
"Looks like a tourist trap to me" Naruto said, as he looked over her shoulder at the pamphlet, taking note that there was no mention of any Pokemon Gym.
"We need a vacation, whiskers. And by damn, we're gonna get one or I'm gonna mutiny!" May yelled.
"Yeah, what she said!" Will yelled as she nodded in agreement.
"Ok, ok fine. Let's go get our tickets for the next ship out to Cinnabar" Naruto said, as he pointed to a nearby ticket booth, which was connected to the docks.
["Punk"] Kurama said as he snickered along with Pikachu, as they and the other Pokemon finished their food, before the Pokemon were returned to their Pokeballs.
"So you're ok with a break?" Serena asked, as they walked over to the ticket booth.
"It's fine. I'm only two badges away, and the gyms aren't going anywhere" Naruto said, as he smiled at Serena
"Plus, you have three months until the Indigo League anyway" Will said as she shrugged.
"That too" Naruto said with a nod, as they approached the front to get their tickets.

It was not even an hour later that the group were on the massive cruise ship, which was on its way to Cinnabar Island.
The group was on the deck of the ship, looking out at the ocean.
"Wow, look at that view" Misty said as she smiled, as she let the sea breeze hit her, causing her hair to move in the wind.
"Yea, it's great to get a break after that crap we went through in Saffron" May said, as she sat down In a lounge chair.
"Well, here's hoping that we never see or hear from Team Rocket ever again" Will said, as she sat in a lounge chair of her own and pulled out a book to read.
["Fuck that! I want an actual fight with whatever the fuck that Pokemon their boss was using!"] Kurama yelled out.
"Eh? What is he talking about?" Will asked curiously.
"Oh, he's just mad that Giovanni's best Pokemon could actually step up to him, and ran off before they actually got around to fighting," Naruto said as he shook his head, while he took a drink from a server.
"Wait, how strong was it?" Serena asked curiously, while Will also took a drink and drank from it.
"Well, it tanked a Blast Burn and reflected it," Naruto said firmly, as he thought about the armored Pokemon.
Will choked on her drink at this, while the others all looked surprised at this reveal.
"That's Kurama's best move and this thing reflected it?" Misty asked curiously, her eyes wide at this.
["Ha! Looks like you need some training"] Pikachu said with a smug look and tone.
["Oh, go suck a 9 volt!"] Kurama grumbled out in annoyance.
"What's this, whiskers? Your furball actually lost a fight, when he was actually using the most powerful Fire Type move?" a familiar male voice called out, getting everyone's attention.
"Oh, great. It's Gary" Naruto said with a groan.
"I'll get my mallet" Will said with a flat tone, as they all looked at said trainer, who was lying nearby in a lounge chair of his own, while his cheerleaders were all lying next to him.
"Is that any way to talk to your brother Wilma - oi!" Gary was asking, before a lounge chair smashed into him, which was thrown by his adopted sister.
"Keep testing me, asshole!" Will yelled, as she cracked her knuckles.
"What are you doing here, Gary?" Naruto asked with a sigh.
"I'm here to relax, same as you whiskers. Though from what I heard from gramps, you lot probably needed it more than me, after attacking Team Rocket's base of operations" Gary said with a shrug.
"Hey, we beat their top 4 lieutenants," May said.
"While whiskers and his partner choked, when he had the boss in his sight" Gary said with a scoff.
["Let me at him!"] Kurama yelled as he jumped at Gary, but Naruto grabbed him by the back of his neck, stopping him.
"Don't Kurama, we're not here to fight. We're here to relax, and look into finding the next gym on Cinnabar" Naruto said, as he held his Pokemon back.
"You are looking to challenge Blane? He doesn't accept challengers anymore, whiskers. I heard that he doesn't see the point, unless the challengers can pass his test" Gary said with a scoff.
"You're not looking to challenge him for a badge?" Misty asked curiously, as she figured that Gary would be looking to get a badge.
"Why would I bother, when I'm already set?" Gary asked, as he held out his badge case and opened it, showing that he had ten different badges.
"Gary, Gary, he's the man! If he can't do it, no one can! Ggggoooo Gary!" his cheerleaders all said with happy smiles.
"So you're taking the easy route, by getting most of your badges from the newer Gyms? You owe me money babe" Will asked, before she smiled at Naruto, who sighed and threw her some cash, which she caught.
"Wait, you bet on which Gyms I'd take?" Gary asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I was hoping that you would at least try to actually test yourself against Kanto's founding Gyms, hence me losing money" Naruto said with a sigh.
"Hey, I'm just as good a trainer as you, whiskers! Maybe even more so!" Gary yelled, as he stood up.
"Uh huh" May said with a tone that said she didn't believe this for a second.
"Yea bro, you're good. But my money is on Naruto, and that's not just because he's the love of my life and knows how to -" Will was saying, before she was cut off.
"You being a perverted freak aside! If you think he is so great, then let's test that theory whiskers!" Gary yelled, as he looked at Will before he glared at Naruto.
"Kick his butt, Gary!" one of the cheerleaders yelled out.
"Yeah, show him that you're the best of the best!" another one yelled, as the rest nodded in agreement.
"An actual battle? Sure, I have been wanting to test myself against you" Naruto said with a smile as he nodded at Gary.
"Good! It will be a one on one match!" Gary said, as he approached what looked like a battle arena on the deck of the ship.
"Since you challenged, you get to choose first," Naruto said.
"Fine with me. Let's go, Umbreon!" Gary yelled, as he threw his Pokeball, releasing his Pokemon. Said Pokemon was all black, with a yellow circle on its head, yellow circles on its legs and yellow lines on its ears and tail.
"An Umbron? An interesting choice, bro" Will said as she recognized the Eevee evolution.
"Well, I couldn't let whiskers be the only one with a Dark Type" Gary said with a shrug.
["He looks like a nightlight"] Kurama said with a scoff, sounding bored.
["He's eyeballing your woman"] Pikachu said with a flat tone, as Gary's Umbreon was indeed looking at Glaceon, who hid behind May at this.
["LET ME AT HIM!"] Kurama yelled, as he jumped at the arena, but Naruto grabbed him by the back of his neck.
"Looks like your Ninetales is ready to fight, whiskers" Gary said with a grin at this.
"Uh bro, maybe you should choose a different Pokemon" Will said, as she understood what made Kurama so mad.
"It will be fine. Umbreon can handle this, right?" Gary asked his Pokemon with a grin.
Umbreon nodded at this, before he looked at Glaceon and winked at her.
This caused Kurama to turn red at this and flames to come out of his mouth.
"Oh jeez" May said as she slapped her face, getting what was going on.
"This isn't gonna be a battle, it's gonna be a funeral" Misty said with a sigh, as she understood too.
"Serena, get out the Full Restore" Will said with a sigh
"Alright Umbreon, let's start with a Confuse Ray, then follow up with a Feint Attack!" Gary said with a grin at his Pokemon.
"Kurama -" Naruto was saying, before….
["Save it! Hey pretty boy, let me show ya something!"] Kurama yelled at Naruto, before he ran at Umbreon then pounced on him and tackled him and…..
"Oh my god!" Gary's cheerleaders yelled in shock, as Kurama proceeded to maul Umbreon like an animal.
"Oi! What the hell, whiskers?!" Gary yelled at Naruto in shock at this, as while he knew Kurama was a thug compared to the rest of his species, this was another level of brutality.
"Bro, your Umbreon hit on his mate" Will said, as she jerked a thumb at Glaceon, who was still hiding behind May's leg.
"…..what?! That's what's got him acting like a thug?!" Gary yelled with wide eyes.
"Nah. My Clefable's a thug, this is worse" Will said with a wince, as Gary's Umbreon cried out in pain, as it was thrown at Gary's feet, beaten and covered in wounds.
["Keep that pretty boy on a better leash around my mate, or I'll have him fixed next time!"] Kurama yelled at Gary, his eyes glowing slightly.
While Gary didn't understand what Kurama was yelling, like Naruto and Will, he got the gist and nodded at this, before he quickly ran to his Pokemon.
"Here bro" Will said, as she handed him a Full Restore, which Gary quickly took and started to use on his Pokemon.
"You are so immature," Naruto said, as Kurama walked over to him.
["Oh please. Would you do the same, if some pretty boy hit on one of your women right in front of you?"] Kurama asked, raising an eyebrow at his trainer.
"….fair enough" Naruto said, as he had no response for this.
"Well, it looks like you need to up your training, eh bro?" Will asked with a smug grin, as Gary returned his Pokemon after he was fully healed.
Gary grumbled at this, but said nothing as he knew he had no ground to stand on.
"Let's call this a draw, until the Pokemon League" Naruto said as he stepped forward.
"Why's that Naruto?" Serena asked curiously, wondering what made Naruto decide on this.
"It wasn't a fair match, seeing as I didn't technically pick Kurama, and he wasn't actually listening to me," Naruto said, as he jerked a thumb at Kurama, who was now at the buffet sticking his head in a tray of food.
["A win is a win, by an inch or a mile, punk ass!"] Kurama yelled, before he laughed at Gary and went back to his food.
"I don't need your pity, whiskers! Don't think this will end the same, when we meet at the Pokemon League!" Gary yelled, as he ignored Kurama and stomped away from Naruto, his cheer squad quickly going after him.
"Jeez, what a jerk," Misty said with a scowl, as they watched him leave.
"Would you believe that he was great, before he got all jealous of Naruto as a kid?" Will asked as she sighed.
"You're kidding," May said, as they all went back to their lounge chairs.
"Oh yea. Him and Naruto were best friends, before he started getting all mad, about how much more naturally talented Naruto was then him" Will said, as she sat down in her chair.
"Any embarrassing stories of them as kids?" Misty asked with a smile.
"Oh, absolutely" Will said as she smiled back at this.
Naruto groaned at this, as Will started to tell the other girls some stories.

(Sometime later)
The ship had finally made it to Cinnabar Island, and all of its passengers were making their way off the ship.
"Wow. Gary wasn't lying, this place is a tourist trap" Naruto said, as he took note of all the hotels and souvenir stands.
["Great, so this is a waste of time"] Kurama grumbled, as he was annoyed that he wasn't gonna get a chance to test his strength against the region's Legendary Fire Type Gym.
"Well, I wouldn't say that. This place is known for its natural hot springs" Misty said with a smile, as she held up a pamphlet.
Will raised an eyebrow at this and smiled a bit, before Pikachu who was sitting on her shoulder, tapped her with his tail and zapped her lightly.
"We can take a look into staying at a hotel later. First, I want to take a look around and see if we can find the Pokemon Gym" Naruto said.
"You lot are actually looking for the Gym?" a male voice asked, getting their attention.
Everyone looked at the nearby souvenir stand, and saw what looked like an old man with brown hair, a brown mustache, who wore a red shirt with a green beaded necklace.
"We're not interested in any weed, pops" Will said with a dismissive wave of her hand.
This caused the old man to face plant at this, while the other girls, Kurama and Pikachu, laughed at this.
"Will," Naruto said, as he shook his head and tried not to laugh.
"Oi! I am not some kind of hippie, you brat!" the old man yelled out, as he got back up.
"Peace man" Will said with a stoned accent, as she gave the old man a peace sign while smiling at him, causing the other girls to laugh some more, and Pikachu and Kurama to also laugh.
"Ignore her. And yes, we are looking for the Gym. Me and her are looking to get our seventh badge" Naruto said, as he looked at the old man.
"You're actually interested in the Gym? Most tourists don't really care about the Cinnabar Gym, seeing as there are plenty of easier Gym badges to earn" the old man said, as he looked at Naruto with an inquiring look.
"Yeah, well, we're not like other people, old timers," Will said
"Yea, we want to get the Kanto region's founding badges and prove ourselves a bit before we go to the Pokemon League" Naruto said as he nodded at this.
"Wait, you lot are going after the region's founding Gyms badges, and you're already up to your seventh badge?" the old man asked, raising an eyebrow at this.
"Indeed we are. Here, take a look old man" Will said with a grin, as she held out her badge case along with Naruto, showing their badges.
The old man's eyes widened upon seeing the badges they had assembled. "They actually beat Surge, Sabrina and Koga?" he thought in surprise, as he knew those three were the most infamous among the founding Gym's in the region.
"So do you know anything about the gym, old man? My partner here wants a real challenge against a fellow Fire Type" Naruto said as he put away his badges, before he pet Kurama a bit on the head.
The old man looked at Kurama at this and chuckled at the fire in his eyes. "Ok kids, follow me" he said, as he nodded before he started to walk down the road.
"Kids? Hey, we're teens old man" Will said with an annoyed look on her face.
"Will you stop picking a fight? I swear, herding Skitty's is easier than you, woman" Naruto said, as he grabbed Will and dragged her with him, as he followed the old man.
"So, you know where the Gym is?" May asked curiously, as they all started to follow him.
"Indeed I do. The Gym has been in the same place for generations and is still there. Most modern trainers are just too cowardly to even think of looking for it" the old man said as he walked.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at this, before he looked up the road and saw that ahead of them was a massive volcano, as he then chuckled.
"What is it?" Serena asked curiously, wondering what was so funny to Naruto.
"Let's just say that it's a very fitting place, if you're gonna be a Fire Type Gym and be the best," Naruto said with a smile.
Kurama raised an eyebrow at this, as he looked ahead at the volcano, before his eyes widened a little, causing him to smile madly in excitement.
They soon left the town itself and soon, they arrived at what looked like an old hot spring hotel, which looked a lot older than the ones in the town. It was also connected to the side of the mountain.
"Old man we said the gym, not some hand me down hotel" Will said, as she looked at the old man with an annoyed look on her face.
"Will, this is the gym" Naruto said with a sigh at this, as he shook his head.
"Eh?! How can you tell?" Misty asked with wide eyes.
["Think about it, you airhead"] Kurama said as he scoffed at this.
"The Gym is obviously gonna be in a place that is befitting a master of Fire Types. And what is this old hot spring hotel connected to?" Naruto said as he looked at everyone.
Everyone raised an eyebrow at this, before they looked at the old inn and then looked at the mountain it was connected to.
"Wait….the gym is in a volcano?!" Misty yelled out in shock, as it hit them all like a ton of bricks.
"Cool!" Will yelled with a smile at this reveal.
"Your definitely not a normal trainer, if you figured it out that quick kid" the old man said with a chuckle,
"Does this mean that you're gonna lose the bad wig and beard?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow at the old man.
["I knew it! Attack the wig!"] Kurama yelled, before using his tails to grab at the old man's hair.
"Oi! Watch it, you demonic furball! I swear, I have never seen such a bad tempered Ninetales in my life!" the old man yelled, as his wig was sent flying and his beard went askew, showing that he was bald.
"Ha! I knew it! Your Blaine, the master of fire!" Will yelled with a smile, as she stepped forward.
"You know this old guy?" Misty asked curiously.
"He was one of the best trainers to rank in the top ten in the Pokemon League, back in the day. I swear, Will wore out her recordings of all his famous matches" Naruto said as he chuckled.
"You knew who I was, and yet you kept insulting me even when you were a fan?" Blaine asked, as his eyebrow twitched at this, while he looked at Will, annoyed at her.
"A great trainer should be able to take a young upstart with a smart mouth and keep a cool head, right?" Will asked with a smirk at the older trainer.
"That's true babe," Naruto said with a smile, as he gave her a side hug while kissing her cheek.
"Is that why she talks trash to trainers who challenge her?" Serena asked curiously.
"I thought it was because she was just a smart ass," Misty said, as she thought about this.
"It's that too, so zip it!" Will yelled, as she turned to look at the others.
Blaine chuckled at this for a moment, before he burst out laughing. "Very true! OK, I'm satisfied. I'll gladly take on both of your challenges, follow me please" he said, as he approached the side of the mountain, before he placed his palm on a rock hanging on the wall and pulled on it.
This caused the wall to rumble, before it opened showing a secret passageway, which led into the mountain.
"Not bad. I didn't notice it at all" Naruto said, as they all followed Blaine into the secret passage.
"Phew, it's getting hotter and hotter the deeper we go" Misty said, as she wiped her forehead while they walked.
"Well, it makes sense. This is a volcano gym, so it's meant to be the ultimate test of our endurance" Will said with a smile.
They all soon arrived at the end of the hallway, and came out seeing the battlefield over some magma, while held in the air by some strong cables.
["Now this is a gym"] Kurama yelled excitedly, as he looked around and smiled.
Blane smiled at this, as he walked over to his end of the arena. "I'm gonna assume that your Ninetales approves of the battlefield?" he asked Naruto.
"Oh, he most definitely does. So how are we gonna do this?" Naruto asked as he looked at Blaine.
"Well, seeing as both you and your girlfriend want to challenge me, I'll fight you both one at a time, with two Pokemon each and no substitutes for me" Blaine said.
"That works for me. I'll go first" Will said, as she stepped forward and cracked her knuckles
Blaine nodded at this, before he took a Pokeball off his belt and threw it forward, sending out a Pokemon with a drill like horn, with brown coloured rocks around its body.
"Woah, what's that?" May asked, as her eyes widened in surprise at the big Pokemon.
"It looks like a Rhydon, only bigger," Misty said.
Will took out her Pokedex and scanned the new Pokemon. "\Rhyperior, the Drill Pokemon and the evolved form of Rhydon. Rhyperior can throw rocks at its enemies by tightening its arm muscles and launching them from the holes in its palms\" the Pokedex said.
"I didn't expect a Ground Type" Serena said as she frowned, hoping that Will's plan wasn't ruined.
Will nodded at this, before she took out her Pokeball. "Let's do this, Nidoqueen!" she yelled, as she threw her Pokeball in the air, letting out her Pokemon.
Blaine looked at Will's Pokemon and inspected it a bit. "Not bad. You obviously have trained your Nidoqueen very well. I think my Rhyperior will actually have a good battle on his hands" he said with a grin, while Rhyperior slammed his claws together.
'Blaine's Rhyperior vs Will's Nidoqueen: FIGHT!'
"Start off with a Mud Slap!" Blane yelled, as he pointed at Nidoqueen.
Will looked at Nidoqueen and nodded at her, getting a nod in response, before her Pokemon charged at her opponent, while holding her arms in front of her face to protect her face from the mud being swung at her, as she charged.
"Ha, got you. Sorry kid. Horn Drill!" Blaine yelled, as he pointed at them.
Rhyperior's horn started to spin at this, as he charged at the charging Nidoqueen.
But as he did this, Will and Nidoqueen both smirked.
Suddenly, Nidoqueen moved to the side and swung her tail at her opponent's feet, making him trip and fall forward and over her tail.
"Let him have it, while he recovers! Ice Beam!" Will yelled, as she pointed at Rhyperior.
Nidoqueen's horn started to glow and charge, before it fired a beam at Rhyperior, nailing him in the back making him cry out in pain.
"That's not gonna do anything in here, girl!" Blaine yelled as the attack ended, showing Rhyperior's back while frozen over, was already starting to melt.
"Oh I know that, but it's softened him up for this! Strength and then follow up with a back to back Mach Punch!" Will yelled, as she smiled while punching her fist forward.
Nidoqueen started to glow red as she upped her strength, before she shot at Rhyperior and started to pummel his back with a barrage of punches, easily shattering the ice on his back.
"Don't let her manhandle you! Mega Punch!" Blaine yelled out.
Rhyperior growled, as he swung his fists at Nidoqueen, clashing fists with her for a few moments, before Nidoqueen grabbed his fists and held him in place, surprising both the Pokemon and Blaine.
"She's more than just a pretty face. Now, Seismic Toss!" Will yelled with a thumbs up at Nidoqueen.
Nidoqueen grinned at this, as she started to spin Rhyperior around for a few moments, before she let go sending him flying out of the arena, causing him to slam into the volcano wall, embedding into it with a crash and causing a small cloud of dust to appear.
Once the dust cloud disappeared, Rhyperior was shown with swirls in his eyes, showing that he was knocked out.
'Blaine's Rhyperior vs Will's Nidoqueen: Match Over. Winner: Will's Nidoqueen'
"Oh yeah! That's one down!" Will yelled as she gave a peace sign, while Nidoqueen did the same and smiled widely, as Blaine returned his Rhyperior to its Pokeball.
"Nice one babe!" Naruto yelled, as he smiled at Will from his seat nearby with Kurama.
["I would have gone with a Hyper Beam, not an Ice Beam! Lightweight!"] Kurama yelled at Nidoqueen, before he started to laugh.
Nidoqueen growled at this, before she made a snapping motion with her hands at Kurama.
"Kill Kurama later, unless you want to tag out for the next fight?" Will asked with a knowing grin, as she looked at Kurama who stopped laughing at this.
Nidoqueen smiled at this, before she ran towards the edge of the arena and jumped at the seat where Kurama was, and would have collided with him, but he quickly yelped in surprise and jumped to the side.
["You suck!"] Kurama yelled at Will, as he ran away from the upset Nidoqueen.
["Oi! Get back here, and take your punishment like a man!"] Nidoqueen yelled out, as she ran after him.
Blaine shook his head at this as he took out his next Pokeball and threw it, letting out what looked like a big snail made of lava, with a large gray shell made out of rock on its back.
Will took out her Pokedex and scanned the Pokemon for a moment, before its image appeared on the Pokedex screen. "\Magcargo, the Lava Pokémon. Magcargo lives primarily in volcanic regions and occasionally emits the lava from its back that circles its body\" the Pokedex said.
"This one is definitely not suited for a hand to hand fight" Naruto mused, as he looked at Magcargo.
"Do you think that she'll choose a Water Type, this time?" Misty asked curiously.
"I think so," Serena said with a nod, as Will threw her Pokeball in the air, letting out Frogadier.
"We're in for a big battle, buddy. Are you ready?" Will asked.
Frogadier sweated a bit from the heat, but nodded determinedly, as he glared at Magcargo.
"Stay alert. These ones are good" Blaine said to his Pokemon, who nodded as he readied himself.
'Blaine's Magcargo vs Will's Frogadier: FIGHT!'
"Bubblebeam!" Will yelled as she pointed at the opponent.
Frogadier opened its mouth, and fired a blast of bubbles at Magcargo.
"Overheat" Blaine said firmly to his Pokemon.
Magcargo roared, as a bunch of magma built up and fired out from around him, easily destroying the Bubblebeam coming at him.
"Quick, get out of there!" Will yelled at her Pokemon, as the massive fire attack flew at him.
Frogadier jumped away, trying to get out of the way, but his legs were slightly burned as he avoided the attack.
Blaine narrowed his eyes as he watched the frog Pokemon, as it tried to stay up, but fell to his knees in pain from his burns. "Your Pokemon isn't ready for this fight, girl. He's not strong enough" he said firmly.
Will's eyes narrowed at this. "Hey, watch it old man. You don't know my Frogadier. He's stronger than he looks and I have complete faith in him" she said as she looked at her Pokemon and nodded at him.
Frogadier looked at Will and nodded back, as he forced himself to his feet and when he did, he suddenly started to glow
"What the?!" Blaine yelled out with wide eyes of shock.
Will said nothing to this, but she smiled brightly seeing this.
"Well, it's about damn time. Will's been waiting for this" Naruto said with a smile
When the glow disappeared, a new Pokemon was in Frogadier's place. This Pokemon had a long tongue that was wrapped around his neck, like a scarf with a yellow chest and four pointed stars on each thigh.
"Ha ha, yes! I finally have my favorite Water Pokemon! Eeeeee!" Will yelled out, before she squealed in happiness while jumping up and down in glee.
"Wow" Misty said, her eyes wide at the new Water Pokemon that she wasn't familiar with.
Naruto took out his Pokedex and scanned the new Pokemon for them to get some information. "\Greninja, the Ninja Pokemon, and the final evolved form of Froakie. Greninja can compress water into sharp-edged throwing stars. With the grace of a ninja, it can slip in and out of sight to attack from the shadows\" the Pokedex said.
["I'm surprised that you don't want one of your own, seeing as you're like a ninja"] Kurama said with a grin, as he sat next to Naruto.
"Will loves frogs more than I love ninjas, so she gots first dibs. Also, shouldn't you be crying uncle to Nidoqueen?" Naruto asked curiously.
["A temporary cease fire, until our Gym battles are done"] Kurama said as he pointed nearby, where Nidoqueen was sitting near where Will was, glaring at Kurama and making an I'm watching you motion with her fingers at the fox Pokemon.
"Alright, round two slug boy! Are you ready, Greninja?" Will asked as she smiled at her newly evolved Pokemon.
Greninja nodded at this and took a ready stance, as he glared at Magcargo.
"Let's see if you can finally pull off that move we've been having trouble with. Hydro Pump!" Will yelled.
Greninja put his palms together and started to charge a sphere of water, before he thrusted his palms forward and fired a large torrent of water at Magcargo.
"Defend yourself with Rollout and charge at him!" Blane yelled out.
Magcargo quickly retreated into his shell and started to roll at Greninja, clashing with the water attack, but still charging forward at Greninja
"Avoid and hit him with Water Shuriken!" Will yelled out
Greninja quickly jumped avoiding Magcargo, and as he hung in the air, he placed his hands on the star shapes on his thighs, and pulled them away, holding shurikens made of water in his palms, before he threw them at Magcargo.
The attacks clashed with Magcargo's shell, easily cutting it and making him yell out in pain, as he came out of his shell.
"Aqua Jet!" Will yelled out, seeing an opening.
Greninja was quickly covered in water, before he shot at Magcargo and slammed into the slug Pokemon, sending him flying to the other side of the arena, kicking up dust.
When the dust cleared up, Magcargo was on the ground, his eyes swirling and knocked out.
'Blaine's Magcargo vs Will's Greninja: Fight over. Winner: Will's Greninja'
"Nice job, babe!" Naruto yelled out as he smiled at her victory, while Greninja jumped to Will's side, before folding his arms over his chest.
Before Will tackled him into a hug.
"You are so cool! You can keep your Blastoise bro, I have the best Water Type ever!" Will yelled as she hugged her Pokemon tightly.
["Not so cool now, eh?"] Kurama asked with a snicker at seeing the frog Pokemon trying to act cool, but was failing thanks to Will's hug.
Blaine then returned his Magcargo to its Pokeball and chuckled as he shook his head, as he watched Will hug her Greninja. "Not bad kid. You obviously have worked hard training your Pokemon, and you actually are friends with them, which is a big bonus these days. So I'm happy to present you with this Volcano Badge" he said, as he approached Will and held out what looked like a flame with a small gem in the center.
Will took the badge and smiled, as she looked at it. "Seven down and one to go" she said, as she put it in her badge case.
"I look forward to watching you at this year's Pokemon League," Blaine said, before he turned to look at Naruto, who was approaching the arena. "Don't worry whiskers, I still have a Pokemon that can give you your battle. Is your Ninetales ok with a one on one?" he asked, as he held out a Pokeball.
"That's fine with us," Naruto said as he nodded, while Kurama ran over and jumped into the arena.
["It better be a good one, though! I'm itching for a fight!"] Kurama yelled out, as he breathed some fire for emphasis.
"I may not understand what your Ninetales is saying, but I am starting to get the gist. And don't worry, my last pokemon is more than worthy of your time" Blaine said with a smile, as he tossed his Pokeball, releasing his Pokemon, which had clawed feet, cannon-like arms with claws at the end and flames all over it.
Naruto took out his Pokedex and scanned it, making its image appear on the screen of his Pokedex. "\Magmortar, the Blast Pokemon and the evolved form of Magmar. It launches fireballs that can reach temperatures over 3,600 degrees from the ends of its arms and lives in volcanic craters\" the Pokedex said.
"Woah, Magmar has an evolved form?" Naruto asked, as he raised an eyebrow at this.
["Finally! An actual fight! I hope that you're more than a big target, big man!"] Kurama yelled as his tails started to wave behind him, while he smiled madly.
Magmortar raised an eyebrow at this, before he chuckled. ["You're quite mouthy for a Ninetales. Is that all overconfidence?"] he asked.
["Your gonna find out!"] Kurama yelled out as he smiled widely.

"Knock him dead, babe!" Will yelled with a fist pump, as she sat next to May and Serena, who had let out Fuyuko and Glaceon, so that they could watch as well.
"Smokescreen" Blaine said, as he nodded at his Pokemon.
Magmortar nodded back at this, as he held up his cannon arms and released a thick black smoke from them.
"Stay alert buddy," Naruto said, as the Smokescreen filled the arena.
["Please"] Kurama said, as he took a deep breath before he blew a massive amount of air from his mouth, blowing away the Smokescreen
"Huh" Blaine said, as he smirked a bit at this response.
["Ha! I knew that you were a blowhard!"] Nidoqueen yelled, as she sat next to Will.
["Gak! Screw you, ya fat ass!"] Kurama yelled out, as he looked at the stands.
["Sorry, but you're not my type"] Nidoqueen shot back with a smirk.
["I'm not into battle axes, anyway!"] Kurama shouted with his own smirk.
"Hey, watch your back bud" Naruto said, as Magmortar was already behind Kurama, his fists raised.
"Use Flamethrower!" Blaine yelled, as his Pokemon charged his arms.
"Quick, use Extreme Speed to get outta there!" Naruto yelled out.
Magmortar fired two flamethrowers from his arms, but just as he fired, Kurama was already behind him in a burst of speed.
["Ha! Sorry, but you can't touch this"] Kurama said with a smug tone.
"Dark Pulse!" Naruto shouted, as he pointed at Magmortar.
Kurama opened his mouth at this and fired a pulse of dark energy, which collided with Magmortar's back.
"Wait, it knows a Dark Type move?!" Blaine yelled, not expecting this.
"You didn't really expect us to use a Fire Type move against something like him, which just screams immune to fire, did you?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Use Lava Plume!" Blane yelled.
"Quick, use Glare!" Naruto yelled out.
Kurama's eyes started to glow as he glared at Magmortar, who not only instantly froze in place, but he started to shiver too.
"Now that he's paralyzed, he's open and can't defend himself," Serena said with a smile.
["Finish him off love!"] Fuyuko yelled out as her tails wagged.
"Hyper Beam!" Naruto yelled as he smiled and gave Kurama a thumbs up.
["Finally! I have been wanting to test this one!"] Kurama yelled with an excited grin, before he opened his mouth and fired a massive blast of orange energy at Magmortar, which clashed with him and caused a massive explosion.
"What the hell?! He didn't even need to charge that!" Blaine yelled, as he covered his face to protect himself from the dust.
["I told you that I wasn't like other Ninetales!"] Kurama yelled, before he started to laugh, as the dust cleared showing a knocked out Magmortar.

The others in the stands all cheered at this, as they approached Naruto's side to congratulate him, while Kurama ran over to Naruto's side.
"Nice job, buddy" Naruto said, as he gave Kurama a thumbs up.
Kurama smiled at this and nodded, before he ran over to Fuyuko and Glaceon.
["When we get back to the Pokemon Center, you're going to be one lucky fox tonight"] Glaceon said with a smirk at Kurama.
["Yea, what she said"] Fuyuko said with her own smirk, as she walked past Kurama, while brushing her tails under his chin.
"Well, this will be one to remember for a while, kid. I didn't think that I would see the day where a Ninetales would actually be able to take down my Magmortar" Blaine said, as he approached them, after returning his Pokemon.
"To be fair, he's not exactly the same as other Ninetales," Naruto said with a chuckle.
"Obviously. But either way, here is your Volcano Badge" Blaine said, as he handed Naruto his badge.
"Great. Now that we're all set, let's get to a hot spring" Misty said with a smile.
"Yea. I refuse to leave without at least trying out Cinnabar's hot springs" Serena said, as she smiled and nodded at this.
"Ok ok, let's go relax for a bit. We can head to Vermilion tomorrow" Naruto said, as he smiled at the girls, before they all made their way to the exit.
As they left, Blaine chuckled at this.
"Vermilion, eh? Those two sure like to live dangerously" he said, as he shook his head at this, before he too left the area.
P.O.M and Kfbanime87 walked into their office, where they saw Deadpool sat on the couch, while making out with a mannequin of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel
Uhhhhhhhh, you do realize that is flopping harder than the Ed notion Hulk film, right? Kfbanime87 asked as he raised an eyebrow at this
Wait, it is? P.O.M asked curiously
Lies! He's tells us the lies! Deadpool yelled out, before he started to hiss

P.O.M rolled his eyes at this, as he took out what looked like a giant battle ax that was on fire
