Being the son of Simon Masrani, Naruto thought he knew everything there was to know about Jurassic World. But when a new camp is about to open he joins 6 fellow teenagers in finding out there is more to Jurassic World than even he knew especially when things descend into chaos when a certain Hybrid Dinosaur breaks out and goes on a rampage, Now its a fight for survival and safety

Chapter 4

The alarm klaxon continued to blare filling the air with its piercing sound as the campers quickly regrouped in front of the stage platform just in time for the alarm klaxon to change to a man's voice "Attention all park-goers must report to the South Ferry Dock for immediate evacuation. The last Ferry will depart in 4 Hours" the voice before the alarm klaxon resumes.

"That's it? No explanation, that's all we get?" Brooklyn says panting slightly.

"Things must be far worse than we think if they are ordering a full-scale evacuation of the island," Naruto says, supporting Yaz still so she doesn't put too much pressure on her leg.

"We gotta move, the only way we will make it is if we run non-stop" Darius states thinking that's the only chance they have of making it in time.

"Um, are we sure that's the best way to get there?" Sammy asks discreetly, shifting her eyes towards Yaz.

Said track girl narrows her eyes hearing this realizing just what Sammy meant "I'm fine, I have competed with a torn ACL, this is nothing" she says stubbornly.

"Yeah besides if need be I can always carry her no big deal" Naruto says with a shrug of his shoulders as he did it before with ease no reason he can't do it again. Unknown to him said girl had a faint blush on her cheeks remembering how he carried her.

"The ones we should really be worried about are Ben and Bumpy" Kenji says chiming in as said boy and baby dino are panting heavily out of breath though it was mainly Ben panting.

"What we should all be worried about is catching a boat out of here, and naturally we have a big problem" the timid boy says, reaching into his fanny pack and pulling out a rolled up copy of a park map for the island. Setting the map down on a bleacher he points to the Mosasaur Lagoon on the map "We are here obviously the real issue that the docks are way down on the southern tip of the island. Even if we ran at peak Yaz speed, there is no way we'd make it before the last boat left" Ben says, painting a grim picture of how screwed the campers were.

"You don't know that we have to at least try as you might be wrong" Sammy says trying to be optimistic despite the morbid situation.

"Yes I do as I memorized the evacuation plan on the ferry ride over" Ben says revealing just how much he prepared in the event of an emergency, while also leaving out that he had gone even further and rememerized the evacuation plan every morning when he woke up at camp.

"What about Naruto? What if he ran to the ferry and got help then came back for us? How fast can you run Naruto?" Darius asked the blonde, figuring that since he was stronger than a normal maybe he was also faster.

"Wouldn't work, last time I had my top speed clocked it was about 40 miles per hour which is about 15-20 miles slower than the raptors, but the issue is I can't sustain that speed for more than 15 continuous minutes. The South Dock is too far away. I wouldn't make it in time. Then there is the issue of even if I did make it in time protocol is that in the event of an evacuation once you reach the docks there is no going back no matter what. It doesn't matter if there is a group of people stranded somewhere they won't risk more lives trying to save them" Naruto says dashing the group's hopes that he could run and get help causing them all to groan in frustration.

"Who thought that that was a smart idea?" Kenji asks, throwing his arms up into the air showing just how frustrated he was.

"It's common sense in an emergency situation. If someone makes it to safety and reveals there are other survivors but they are in a dangerous situation, then the people in charge have to weigh the risks. Do they send in say 6 people to try and rescue say 3 thus putting more lives in danger or do they cut their losses and hope for the best?" Naruto says explaining how rescue situations often worked "Not to mention there would be 6 people that need to be rescued in our case. That means that no less than 9 workers would have to leave their posts guarding the Ferry Docks and head out into the jungle to get to all of you. This means that not only are those 9 workers' lives at risk but it also puts the lives of all the people at the docks at risk given there are fewer people guarding the area from dinosaurs" he adds on causing the campers to get a bit depressed but they realized the sense in his statement.

"Okay so we just need another way" Darius says trying to be positive given the situation before he spots the kayaks still in the lagoon "Can we use those somehow?" he suggests pointing to the kayaks.

"You want to go back into the Mosasaur Lagoon after we barely made it out the first time?!" Sammy asks with wide shock filled eyes.

"Oh yeah Mona would so totally love that, plus it wouldn't work anyway. The only other way outta the lagoon is the massive water gate that leads to the main river that then leads to the ocean. We would need to open the gate and no way it would close behind us before that bitch got out and into the open ocean and no way in hell am I letting that happen" Naruto says crossing his arms as he points out the flaw with Darius suggestion while also putting his foot down on the idea in general as he wouldn't risk the Mosasaurus getting loose into open water.

"Oh I know we could make a few jetpacks real quick, or better yet maybe we should try befriending a unicorn!...Face it we're screwed" Brooklynn says sarcastically before depressingly adding the last bit summing up their situation.

Darius opened his mouth to say something only to be cut off by an automated woman's voice filling the air "We will soon be arriving at Main Street, your destination for fine dining, and shopping at Jurassic World. Followed by stops at the Jurassic World Lagoon home to our mighty Mosasaurus, and the South Ferry Dock" the pre-recorded message says.

The kids' eyes widen in hope as they hear this as they look out across the lagoon and see one of the Jurassic World Monorails running along the monorail track "Monorail what-what!" Kenji cheers with a wide grin as he throws his arms up into the air.

"Huh nicely played universe" Brooklyn remarks with a grin given how ironic it was that the monorail would present itself to them just after she got done saying how screwed they were.

"Yeah must have finally pulled that stick out of its ass and decided cut us some slack" Naruto jokes with a chuckle getting a snort and laugh from Yaz before the others chuckled as well.

"Hurry, this is our chance!" Darius shouts out before the campers begin scrambling towards the exit of the viewing area. In their hurry Kenji didn't realize he had forgotten his sunglasses behind on one of the bleachers.

The teens ran up the staircase leading to the exit with Naruto and Yaz lagging behind with Ben and Bumpy due to Naruto helping Yaz and said girl's injury. Seeing the two Ben can't help but chuckle "It's nice having some company back here for once" he jokes getting a deadpan from the two causing him to gulp "Right sorry kinda poor taste" he remarks before following the two up the stairs with Bumpy right next to him.

Sammy, Kenji, and Brooklynn are the first ones to reach the top of the stairs and make it to the exit however as they run out into the open towards the monorail station they hear a thump causing them to look to the side and their eyes to widen in terror. "Oh no" Brooklynn squeaks out in a tiny voice before the three quickly run back to the exit and hide up against the wall. Darius runs up to them and is about to run past them when Brooklynn brings her hands up signaling him to stop which he does before squatting down next to them.

Moments later Naruto, Yaz, Ben, and Bumpy make it to the top of the stairs and make their way over to where the others are huddled. "Why are we all waiting here?" Naruto asks quietly, given how he figured if they were hiding something must be wrong.

"There is a big problem around the corner" Kenji whispers causing Naruto to raise an eyebrow before he helps Yaz sit down before going over and peeking around the corner. What he sees causes his eyebrow to twitch in aggravation as none other than Toro is standing roughly 50 feet from the bottom of the staircase that leads up to the Monorail station.

Pulling his head back from around the corner the blonde sighs "Really universe just go eat a dick" he comments getting a deadpan look from the others. Hearing metal crashing and crunching Naruto figures the Carnotaurus must be chomping on the trash can he saw near the dino.

Darius moves up next to Naruto and peeks around the corner to see the Carno facing away from the group and the station platform "We need to move now" he urgently whispers to the others before quietly and quickly running out into the open and towards the cement staircase and hiding behind it out of view should Toro turn around. The boy then looks behind him to see the others hadn't followed behind him and gives them a "What the hell?" look before motioning them towards him.

The others begin to silently make their way out with Sammy, Kenji, and Brooklynn going first and making it about half-way to where Darius is, only to panic and quickly run back the way they came when they notice Toro starting to turn around. The Carnotaurus then begins stalking over to where they are and is within feet of reaching and seeing the rest of the campers when Darius finds a rock lying on the ground and throws it off into the distance hitting something metal. The clanking sound attracts Toro's attention and the dino begins stalking away towards where it heard the sound.

Seeing the carnivore wander off the campers stealthily make a run for it towards the stairs and begin quietly going up them with Darius staying near the bottom. The boy hides against the siding of the staircase and peeks out around the corner to make sure Toro stays away only to lightly gasp as the dinosaur returns standing near where it initially was. As if the universe was flipping the campers, the bird once more Toro starts walking over towards the stairs.

Darius's eyes widen seeing this before he pulls his head back making sure the dino doesn't spot him and quietly goes "Psst" altering the others and causing them to stop and look back at him. The boy waves his hand down as if telling them to get down and upon hearing the growling of Toro getting closer they understand what he is trying to tell them. Quickly pressing their backs against the side of the staircase they hold their breath as the dino gets closer and closer until the shadow of Toro's head hovers above where Yaz and Naruto are.

Naruto shifts his hold on Yaz slightly as he holds her close ready to shove her up the stairs in the event Toro notices the two of them and makes to chomp down on them. He can feel the girl trembling slightly in his grip so he pulls her close to comfort her as the heavy breathing of Toro is heard right above them. After several tense seconds the shadow of Toro's head withdraws as the dino begins walking away causing the campers to let out a sigh of relief as they continue crawling their way up the staircase so as to not be seen.

Bumpy begins running up past everyone on her way up the stairs accidentally knocking an empty styrofoam coffee cup that was left on the stairs knocking it down the stairs behind her. Brooklyn sees the cup falling and makes a grab for it fearing the noise of it falling would attract Toro. Her initial grab only nicks the cup making it spiral past her though she was luckily able to kick it back up towards her head and grab it before it could make a noise causing the campers to sigh in relief as they resume crawling.

Kenji is the first to make it to the train platform just as the Monorail starts to pull into the station and he smiles widely "Mon-!" He begins to shout in joy before Brooklynn slams her hand over his mouth and turns his head to look at her glare as if to say "Really!" before the two turn around their eyes widening as they see Toro at the bottom of the stairs thankfully not looking up at it.

However this stroke of good luck was shattered as the monorail came to a stop at the station and its sliding glass doors opened before the automated woman's voice loudly returned "Welcome to the Jurassic World Lagoon. Next stop Ferry Landing!" which obviously catches Toro's attention as the Carno looks up the stairs and sees the campers before letting out a roar.

"RUN!" Naruto yells helping Yaz up as the campers make a mad dash up the stairs with Toro starting to chase them. The carnivore makes it several steps up the staircase and attempts to chomp down on Ben who was in the back of the group though the boy luckily ducked out of the way in time narrowly avoiding the jaws of death.

As a combined result of the attempt at sinking its death into the boy and the narrow cement steps Toro loses her footing and falls down giving the campers a chance to get away. Darius, and Sammy manage to make it up to the top of the stairs and quickly run into the monorail where Brooklynn, Bump, and Kenji are waiting "Hurry!" Brooklyn yells urgently.

Ben due to his fear manages to pull ahead of Yaz and Naruto as the three continue running up the stairs as fast as they can. Toro manages to get back onto her feet and take several more steps up the stairs before slipping again and crashing down onto the stairs. The force of her body landing on the stairs causes the whole structure to shake and the three campers to stumble a bit. It is during this stumbling that Yaz's foot slips and she slips out of Naruto's grip before sliding down the stairs in terror towards the Carno "NARUTO!" she yells in horror as she slides closer and closer to the beast coming to a stop right in front of it.

The girl's eyes widen in horror as Toro manages to rear its head up and back before lunging at her attempting to clamp her jaws down on the teen frozen in fear. Yaz closes her eyes awaiting the end only to feel a rush of wind past her and not feel the agonizing sensation of Toro sinking her teeth into her flesh. Opening her eyes the Yaz sees Naruto's back to her his arms outstretched and holding back the jaws of Toro with all his might as Toro shakes her head back and forth trying to break free.

"BEN GET YAZ!" Naruto yells in a strained tone not taking his eyes off the deadly jaws in front of him making sure to go along with Toro's thrashing so as to not lose his grip and stumble forward into said jaws. However the timid boy made no move to help the girl as he himself was frozen in terror "BEN!" the blonde roars again trying to snap him out of his state to no avail.

From within the monorail Darius hears all this happening and makes a mad dash out of the monorail towards the stairs. However just as he does the automated voice comes on again "Please stand clear of the closing doors" she says as the monorail doors start to close. Seeing this Kenji stands between the doors and tries to hold them open knowing if they close the others are as good as dead.

Naruto struggles and grunts as Toro begins shaking her head more fiercely and nearly loses a couple of fingers when she snaps her jaws shut a couple times in his grip "Yaz you need to crawl!" he yells to the girl who with a look of horror still on her face begins crawling backwards up the stairs not taking her gaze of Naruto for fear that if she did it would be the last time she would see him.

"BEN OUT OF THE WAY!" Darius yells rushing past the boy and snapping him out of his shock as he watches Darius run down to and help the girl up and begins to start helping her up the stairs.

"NARUTO!" Yaz screams again, still watching the boy try to hold Toro back.

"GO I WILL BE RIGHT BEHIND YOU GUYS!" the blonde yells starting to lose ground on holding back Toro's jaws as the dinosaur was starting to get its feet under it and stand back up. Chancing a look back Naruto sees Yaz, Ben, and Darius reach the top of the stairs and go onto the platform. Turning his attention back to Toro he sees the dino getting up and knows he has to make a break for it. Releasing his grip on her jaws Naruto turns to the side narrowly avoiding her teeth before punching the side of her head right in the open wound on her snout from her pursuit of Kenji and Darius a few days ago. The sudden hit causes Toro to let out a roar of pain as Naruto, seeing his chance, makes a break for it up the stairs with Toro shaking off the hit and right behind him.

Naruto ducks and jumps to the side several times to avoid Toro's deadly jaws as the Carno snaps at him hot in his heels as they run up the stairs, the thundering steps of the dino causing the whole thing to shake.

Yaz, Ben, and Darius reach the monorail, the doors of which are barely being held open by a struggling Kenji, Sammy, and Brooklynn "Don't let those doors close Naruto is right behind us!" Yaz yells as the three campers join the others on the monorail and start helping hold the doors open as they wait for their blonde fellow camper. Suddenly they see his iconic hair crest the edge of the station platform causing them to smile in joy that he was safe. As the rest of his body started to become visible their joy turned to terror as they heard him let out a gasp of pain as he body was launched into the air.

Naruto was nearly at the top of the stairs when he felt Toro's head slam into his lower back, the snout of the carnivore catching him between the legs sending pain shot up his body from the hit to such a tender area before he was sent airborne as Toro threw her head upwards. The hit combined with his flipping end over end from her uppercut of a headbutt dazed and dizzied the blonde for several seconds as he flew up into the air. "NARUTO!" He heard the campers yell in fright seeing him fly through the air, the yells snapping him out of his days just in time to see himself plummeting towards Toro's waiting jaws. Time seemed to slow down as he saw himself getting closer and closer to death, his mind working overtime to think of a way to survive. Noticing one of the flagpoles situated on either side at either side of the staircase he reached out for it. Just barely managing to grab the pole on the right he kicked his body forward and spin around it just in time to miss Toro's jaws as the dinosaur lunged up to sink her teeth into his falling body. However this was a mistake on the dino's part as she lost her footing again slamming down onto the staircase like before only this time the force of the impact broke the staircase under her sending the dino crashing to the ground below with a roar and a thud as she hit the ground.

Naruto swung around the pole one more time before launching himself towards the monorail sailing past Kenji and the others just as they lost their hold on the doors and barely making it into the train as the doors shut right behind him. Unable to stop himself Naruto collided with the glass siding of the other side of the train car almost comically. The blonde let out a groan of pain as he slid down the glass to the floor of the train car just as the monorail began departing the station as Toro roared in fury from the ground below the station.

"Um dude you okay?" Kenji asked tentatively as that impact looked really painful.

"Yeah just fine though honestly I could have gone my whole life without taking a header to the balls from that bitch" Naruto says in a slightly higher voice due to the pain in his groin getting a sympathetic wince from his fellow males while the girls just sighed though they were glad the blonde was alive.

"Ugh I will never understand boys and their whole balls situation" Brooklynn said jokingly with a sigh throwing her hands up in exasperation getting a giggle from Sammy and smirk from Yasmina.

The campers then walked over to the side of the train car and looked out the glass siding watching Main street and the lagoon get farther and farther away "No way I don't buy it, something bad always happens whenever we think we're safe. Watch the doors are going to open or the train is going to derail because that's how this works" Kenji suddenly says causing the others to look at him with deadpan stares.

"I'm pretty sure we're safe now and relatively injury free minus Yaz's ankle, and I guess Naruto's balls" Brooklynn said with a shrug as given all the dangerous situations they had been in today it was a miracle those were the extent of the group's injuries.

"Well we were safe until you said that and as for the injuries I know basically nothing about medicine but Yaz probably just needs to stay off her ankle and as for Naruto's balls no idea maybe Yaz could try massaging them to make them feel better?" Kenji says casually with a smirk and shrug causing a myriad of reactions from the group.

"DUDE!/KENJI!" Naruto, Yaz, and Sammy yell with the former two blushing heavily at what the asian teen said. Darius and Ben just blushed heavily at the remark and Brooklynn simply raised an eyebrow and gave the teen a flat stare all the while the monorail continued to follow the track into the night as the sun had finally set.

The two counselors had spent nearly an hour just sitting in their "borrowed" truck lamenting their apparent failure at rescuing the campers before they decided at the very least to check to see if what they thought happened to the campers actually did. Driving out of the jungle they came up just outside the viewing stands/stadium.

As the truck came to a stop the doors fling open as the counselors get out flashlights in hand "I' will check here you go check over by the stadium" Dave says before going over to the edge of the ledge and running along it shining his flashlight in front of him.

Roxie runs into the stadium where the stands are and starts searching "Kids! Darius! Naruto! Anybody here!" she yells loudly, shining her flashlight all around as she searches for any sign of them.

"Brooklynn!" Dave yells near the ledge before turning back towards the stands, his eyes widening as he sees the kayaks still in the water near the showmans platform. Running over he stands by the railing and shines his flashlight down towards the kayaks and gets a look at the Mosasaur swimming along under the water below the kayaks. The sight of this causes his heart to sink as he lets out a quiet "Oh no" in fear of what happened to the campers.

"They made it out!" Roxie suddenly yells causing his eyes to widen as he looks over to her seeing her holding a pair of sunglasses "These are both posh and tacky enough to be something Kenji would wear. They're okay, I know it." she says with a hopeful smile.

Dave takes the sunglasses from her and notices one of the lenses missing and lets out a sigh of relief before they hear an automated voice "Welcome to the Jurassic World Lagoon" causing them to look out across the lagoon to see the monorail with its lights on going down the track. They see a group of people in one of the cars near the back of the monorail and are just barely able to make out a familiar shape of blonde hair.

"The kids…They're alive!" Dave yells joyously "HEY GUYS OVER HERE!" he yells at the top of his lungs as he and Roxie begin yelling and waving their flashlights in the air, trying to get the attention of the campers only for them not to be seen.

"ATTENTION! All park-goers must report to the South Ferry Dock for immediate evacuation, last ferry departs in 3 Hours 30 Minutes" a man's voice is heard over the loudspeakers causing the two to turn and look in the direction of said speakers.

"They're headed to the docks!" Roxie says in realization.

"Then it's time for us to ship out!" Dave says chessily as he puts on the broken pair of sunglasses causing Roxie to sigh. However they suddenly hear a roar and turn to the side to see the top of Toro's head coming into view as the Carnotaurus walks into the stadium area "...Or let;s just go" Dave squeaks out as he and Roxie quietly run back towards their truck and get in before driving off towards the South Docks to meet the kids there.

The teens were finally taking a well deserved moment to relax as they sat in the seats of the monorail train car smoothly gliding along the path to safety. Darius was looking out the glass siding of the train car watching the scenery pass by illuminated by the full moon that hung in the sky. "It's over" the boy said quietly to himself before turning to look at the others "Guys, we did it, we're going home" he adds.

Hearing this the others look amongst themselves for a moment, the majority of them having small smiles as his words sink in "Whoo Hoo!" Sammy suddenly shouts out of nowhere startling the others, causing Ben to instinctively cringe, and Bumpy to let out a squeal at the sudden noise. Sammy's cheer became infectious as one by one the others also let out a cheer expect for Kenji who was standing near the side of the train car looking out into the darkness of the night with a paranoid look on his face, and Naruto who was sitting in the seat next to Yaz a downcast look on his face.

Seeing Kenji's look Darius walks over to him and puts his hand on the older boy's shoulder "Dude it's cool we're home free and going to be at the docks in no time" the boy says with a cheerful grin causing Kenji to gain a small smile.

"This calls for a celebration!" Brooklyn says with a wide grin before sitting in one of the seats.

"I might be able to help with that" Ben says before unzipping his fanny pack and pulling out several wrapped candy bars and boxes of juice "I may have stashed a few treats for the road" he adds with a grin. All of the campers minus Naruto quickly grab one of the candy bars and tear into them before ravenously taking a bite only for their eyes to widen as they start gagging, retching, and spitting it out of their mouths.

"Um Ben I think someone might have stolen your candy bars and replaced the chocolate in them with dirt" Sammy says gently, not sure what else could explain the foul tasting candy bars.

"They're carob bars and they pair perfectly with-Carob juice…awesome" Ben begins to explain until Darius cuts him off with a grimace on his face as he finishes taking a sip from the juice box he grabbed to wash the taste of the carob bar out of his mouth.

"Carob is nature's chocolate. Just as delicious with none of the sugar and caffeine" Ben explains pointing out the benefits to the foul tasting candy bars and juice.

"Keep telling yourself that Ben. That stuff is just flat out nasty why do you think I didn't grab a candy bar or juice box?" Naruto says chiming in as he diverts his attention from looking out the side of the train car to address the boy.

"Wait you knew what this stuff was and didn't warn us?" Kenji asks with a raised eyebrow.

"I had no idea that none of you besides Ben didn't like Carob so I didn't say anything" the blonde responds with a shrug of his shoulders before he goes back to staring out the side of the train with a blank look on his face.

"He does have a point" Yaz says with a shrug of her shoulders agreeing with Naruto as like he said he had no idea they didn't like carob.

"As exciting as that is, there is a more pressing issue…what's wrong with sugar and caffeine?" Brooklyn asks dropping her candy bar onto the floor fo the train "First thing I am going to do when I get home is hug my espresso machine…I may never let go" the girls says as she turns around in her seat and hugs the back support with her eyes close before they shoot open as she says the last part.

"You know…I've often described myself as a tall hot drink" Kenji says as he clears his throat and stands up in his seat staring down at the pink haired girl with a raised eyebrow getting a chorus of schoffs and groans from the others.

"You could never be coffee…Naruto could be coffee, as could Darius…Ben is more like tea…" Brooklynn points out as she points at Kenji with a pointed look on her face.

"Oh so what am I then?" Kenji asks skeptically.

"...Water…or unsweetened Lemonade" Brooklynn says after a moment causing the boy to slump as the others chuckle.

"I can't wait to be home as once my ankle's better its back to training for me…and I guess finding a new corporate sponsor, since mine was Jurassic World" Yaz chimes in telling what her plans were for when she gets home.

"It's going to be weird for things to be normal again. I mean are video games going to seem boring now after everything we have been through?" Darius says with a chuckle before turning to look at Kenji "How about you? What's the first thing you are going to do when you get home?" he asks.

"Depends on which wing of my family's mansion you're talking about. The East Wing is usually off limits but Dad and Candy are away on business, so I guess I'll go downstairs to our bowling alley…staff always let me win. Life of a VIP" Kenji says, sounding bright and happy at the start before becoming somber.

"Your dad's girlfriend is named Candy?...Is she a stripper?" Naruto asks once more, taking his attention from looking out the side of the train.

"No she is not a stripper, he said she was a friend of a business associate that introduced them while at an Exotic Dance Club" Kenji says with a raised twitching eyebrow.

"Um Kenji that's the polite way to say someone is a stripper" Sammy says with a blush on her face the entire time.

Kenji brings his finger up and opens his mouth to say something only for his eyes to widen and he puts his finger back down "...That would explain a few things" he mumbles out getting a few snickers from the others as Naruto goes back to looking out the side of the train.

"So um what have you missed Ben?" Sammy says turning to look at the boy as she tries to change the topic to a less embarrassing one.

"Oh wait I know! You can't wait to get home to your closet of dork pouches" Kenji suddenly says to the boy with a grin on his face getting a chuckle from Sammy and Brooklynn.

"Ha ha very funny" Ben says dryly with a deadpan look on his face.

"No seriously Ben, you have had juice boxes for days! How much stuff can you fit in that thing?" Darius asks with a grin.

"One..lots…Two I have had a continuous supply as I kept refilling it every morning at camp…and three obviously the first thing I am going to do when I get back home is restock it!" Ben explains before breaking out into laughter which the several of the campers join him in.

Seeing something on the wall of the train car next to the connecting doors Kenji walks over and picks up a flashlight off a wall mounted rack holding several of them and turns it on as he shines it around limiting the sounds of a lightsaber "Check it out I have found the first thing that works at Jurassic World" he says before tossing the flashlight into the air and attempting to catch it only to miss and it to hit the floor and shut off. Kenji quickly picks it up and shakes it a couple times before it comes back on "Heh look still works" he says with a sheepish grin.

"I still can't believe how much went wrong, like that time we almost got eaten?" Brooklynn says with a slight chuckle.

"Which time?" Yaz says with a slight grin before she shakes her head "How is there more than one time?" she asks, putting her head in her hands briefly before chuckling.

Darius seeing this smiles before reaching down and picking up his abandoned juice box "Let's all raise our carob juice! A toast to not getting eaten!" he says with the others minus Naruto lifting their own boxes and saying "To not getting eaten!" They cheer taking a sip of their carbo juice before their faces scrunch up in disgust and they spit it out minus Ben who enjoyed his drink.

Brooklynn shudders in an after effect of disgust from the drink before standing up "To no more running away!" She says raising her juice box to which the others repeat and do as well with their own though only Ben drinks from ihis this time. Sammy even goes so far as to sneakily dump her juice box out onto the floor which Bumpy immediately begins lapping up.

"To the return of a low-level gnawing dread rather than an all-encompassing impending doom!" Ben says standing up and raising his juice box causing the others to shrug and do the same.

"I got one-" Sammy begins to say before a loud explosion is heard and the monorail shakes slightly "Um what was that?" she asks slightly in fear.

"It sounded like an explosion" Yaz says looking up at the ceiling of the train car to see if anything was wrong while Brooklynn, Kenji, and Darius stare out the sides of the train trying to see anything but are unable to due to how dark it is out now.

"I don't think it was near us, we're okay, we're still okay" Darius says before turning to look at the others.

"He is right the explosion was far off or we would have been able to see the flash of it and the vibrations would have been more intense" Naruto is heard saying not looking at the others and still gazing out the side of the train lost in his thoughts.

The others look amongst themselves for a moment before Sammy speaks up "I know camp wasn't what we thought it was going to be. But after everything we went through. At least we're leaving this place with six new friends" she says, trying to sound cheerful before raising her empty juice box "To the seven of us being best friends for life!" the texan adds with a cheer. However the others don't join in on the cheer instead looking anywhere but the girl "Um Guys? Wait do you guys not see us all as friends?" she asks.

"I mean…" Brooklynn begins before sighing "Doesn't it usually take more than a few days to become friends with someone?" she asks trying not to sound rude to the girl.

"We were thrown together completely at random, and have nothing in common" Yaz comments dryly causing the others to look around avoiding eye contact.

"The one thing you all have in common was that I was the one that selected you all out of all the possible applicants to be chosen to attend the camp. The only exception to this is Darius given he won the video game contest" Naruto chimes in causing the others eyes to widen in shock as they were unaware he was the one that selected them for the camp.

"We've been through more together in the last few days than most friends have in their entire lives. How can we not be friends?" Sammy asks, pointing out all they have been through.

"Yeah but now that it's over what are the odd's we'll ever see each other again? I mean we all live scattered across the United States. I mean Darius is in California, Sammy is in Texas, I live in Wisconsin, Kenji is in New York, Brooklynn is in Hawaii, Yaz is in Montana, and Naruto lives somewhere?" Ben says pointing out just how far apart they all live from one another before looking at Naruto as if asking him where he lives to which the teen just ignores the look.

The realization about how far apart they live brings down the mood in the train car as the campers just sit quietly in their seats riding in silence "Coming up on the right, you'll see our world renowned 18 Hole dinosaur themed golf course. It's one of the many wonders that make this park oh so very Jurassic" the automated woman's voice announces over the monorail's speaker suddenly.

"What does that even mean?" Brooklynn asks with a chuckle finding the line both confusing and hilarious.

"I thought I knew…" Darius says quietly as he gazes out the glass siding "My whole life I had this idea of Jurassic World. My dad used to say this place was "All-osaurus and a bag of chips" He was so corny" the boy says with a soft smile remembering his dad before it fades.

"Um was?...So your dad is…" Ben asks trailing off and not finishing his sentence. Darius's silence at the question is completely telling for the other campers as they realize what he is implying.

"Sorry Darius…Ugh "Sorry'' nice one Sammy ya dork. Like sorry could begin to" Sammy says apologizing before realizing how insensitive it was only to be interrupted by Darius telling her it's okay as he understood what she was going for.

"Hey at least your dad never saw the dumpster fire this place turned out to be huh?" Kenji suddenly says before getting harshly hit in the back by Yaz who glares at him for the comment "Ow! I meant it's cool that Darius and his dad were so close. I can count on one hand the number of times me and my dad have done…anything together" the teen adds on.

"Kenji that's just sad" Sammy responds with a soft look on her face.

"Yeah…Did I mention I have a bowling alley?" Kenji says softly before trying to deflect to a different topic.

"Dangit! Come on it's gotta be here somewhere…" Ben suddenly says as he is shaking his fanny pack upside down trying to find something in it before the contents of the pack fall out onto the seat next to him "Oh there it is." He says picking up a bottle of hand sanitizer and squirting some on his hands "Bumpy stepped in something icky and I'm low on sanitizer…It's fine I can make more" the boy says as he begins rubbing the sanitizer onto Bumpy's head getting it clean.

"Ben, why are you here?" Kenji asks as he watches this.

"What he means is…Well you're scared of dinosaurs, and the outdoors, and sometimes the indoors, and germs…" Darius says listing off some of the boys fears.

"Whipped cream for some reason?" Sammy adds in with a raised eyebrow as that one just didn't make sense to her.

"The way it moves…" Ben says before visibly shuddering at just the thought of it.

"See that's what I am talking about, what's the deal with you?" Kenji says pointing towards the boy with the flashlight in his hand.

"My mom works, er I guess it's worked now for Mr. Masrani, and she put my name forward for the camp. She said it would be a great way to "Face my fears" but it's been a nightmare! I am sick of being scared all the time, and of running, almost getting eaten…and holding everyone back. I just can't do…this" the boy says venting his frustrations causing the others to look on in sympathy for the boy. As if sensing Ben was upset Bumpy rests her head on his legs causing the boy to gain a soft smile "But it hasn't been all bad, as if I hadn't come I never would have met Bumpy" he says softly rubbing the baby ankylosaurus head.

"Oh um Naruto what about you? You never said what you are going to do when you get home" Sammy suddenly asks, trying to bring up the mood a little more after Ben's heartfelt venting and remembering that the blonde had never said what he was going to do.

"I don't know as while all of you are going home….I am leaving mine" the blonde teen says, still looking out the side of the monorail.

"What do you mean?" Yaz asks as she was confused by his response, a state that was shared by the other campers.

"I mean that Jurassic World was my home. For over a decade ever since my mom was murdered I have lived here with my dad, the dinosaurs, and the park workers as it was the safest place for me. All the bonds I made are here, as well as all my pain. Dave, Roxie, Owen, Blue, the ACU troops I met all of them here. Yet at the same time I have no idea if any of them are safe or even alive, and both my mom and now my dad died on this island" Naruto says explaining how Jurassic World was his home and the place he met all of his friends yet also the place he lost so much.

The campers honestly didn't know what to think of or how to respond regarding what Naruto just said. "Maybe…Maybe instead of seeing this as leaving your home it could be a fresh start? I mean would your mom or dad want you to miss out on something because you're holding onto Jurassic World? That's not to say you should just forget about all your time here but not let it tie you down…sorry if this doesn't make sense" Yaz suddenly says to Naruto trying to help him but not wanting to say something that could upset him or make him feel bad. Outside of the view of the others Yaz also moved her hand so that it brushed up against his left hand that he had resting on the seat given how the two were sitting next to each other.

The track stars eyes widened slightly as she felt Naruto lightly grab her hand partially holding it in his as he finally tore his gaze from watching the darkened scenery pass by to look at her and the others "Thanks, I think you might be onto something there" he says in a soft voice that was filled with gratitude "I guess I will also probably take over my dad's company when we get to the mainland given I am his heir. Not to mention it's going to need a leader to survive the fallout of all this chaos" he adds making a plan for when they got off the island as he wouldn't let the company his dad worked so hard to build fall apart in the wake of the man's death and the aftermath of Jurassic World going down.

However suddenly there was a loud crash that shook the entire train car nearly making the campers lose their balance or knock them out of their seats causing their eyes to widen in fright. This crashing was followed by another that shook the car again before they got up and opened the train car door running into the next car which happened to be the caboose of the monorail. Darius and Naruto walked to the back of the car and peered out of the glass straining their eyes to see into the darkness before their eyes widened.

"You have to be kidding me" Darius whispers at what he is barely able to see.

"We need to turn off the lights!" Naruto yells, turning back to the others and grabbing the flashlight out of Kenji's hands and begins using it to smash the overhead lights in the train car. Once he is doen breaking the lights the interior of the car is plunged into the same darkness as that of outside resulting in the rest of the campers being able to see just what is going on. Following the monorail and gaining fast is a flock of Pteranodons the sight of which causes the rest of the campers to gasp in fright.

"Flying reptiles are basically just like seabirds. They are attracted to shiny moving objects and with all these lights on-We're a shiny moving object!" Darius says grabbing a flashlight of his own and starting to bash in the lights as well before Sammy interrupts him in a panicked tone right before a Pteranodon crashes into the back of the train car heavily cracking the glass.

This causes the rest of the campers to rush and get flashlights of their own to help in smashing the lights throughout the monorail cars except for Ben as there weren't enough flashlights "What should I do?" the boy asks.

"Just keep out of the way!" Brooklyn says as she starts smashing the lights along with the others as the sound of Pteranodons colliding with the roof of the monorail is heard. The campers frantically smash lights as the Pteranodons swarm around the monorail slamming into it and cracking the glass siding. One of the flying reptiles slams into the glass siding right next to Sammy startling her before it repeats the action a second time heavily cracking and nearly breaking the glass before it collides with a tree.

Finally knocking out all the lights in the car the campers run to the connecting door and Naruto pries it open before turning back to look at the others "Brooklynn your with Yaz, Sammy help Ben and Bumpy across into the next car. Darius, Kenji you're with me we need to break these lights" he says before rushing into the train car and begins smashing the lights with the others following his directions and doing their tasks.

The campers soon fell into a rhythm as they frantically made their way through the monorail cars destroying the lights and going closer to the command car. However as they neared said car they noticed a light in the distance and were just able to make out another monorail though this one was smoking heavily and resting diagonally on the track near a track change as it was being swarmed by Pteranodons.

"At least we know what that boom was earlier" Sammy comments with a frightened tone.

"If we don't change tracks or stop this car right now we are going to slam into the other monorail and its game over!" Darius yells in panic.

"No we can't stop there isn't enough time given how fast we are going our only chance is to change tracks" Naruto points out with a scowl as it was just one thing after another.

"The front car has the control panel there!" Kenji says as everyone rushes to the door to the front car and Naruto tries to pull it open to no success.

"Damn all the damage done to the monorail cars has activated the emergency security lock I can't pry it open!" the blonde says in a strained tone as he continues to try and pull the door open to no avail.

"Why the hell would it have that as a feature!" Brooklynn yells in frustration.

"It's a safety feature to prevent hijacking as if the monorails go too fast they can jump the track. Nothing short of a breaching explosive charge will get this open from out here" Naruto explains letting out a sigh as he lets go of the door.

"There has to be another way in!" Sammy yells in fright as the Pteranodons keep slamming into the sides of the monorail and cracking the glass more and more as it was only a matter of time before they either breached the monorail or the monorail collided with the other train.

"There is an emergency escape hatch in the roof of this car that we can use to get onto the roof of the monorail and crawl along it to reach the emergency hatch in the command car" Naruto says pointing to the hatch "There is a problem though as only Darius and Ben are small enough to fit" he adds.

"What nobody can go out there thats where the Pteranodons are!" Brooklynn shouts thinking the plan is suicide as she watches Darius run over ot a seat and get up on it as he gets ready to open and go out the hatch.

"We don't have a choice Me and…" Darius starts to say looking at Ben who is huddled up on the floor cowering in fear "I'm the only one who can fit" he corrects and is about to open the hatch when a Pteranodon collides with the monorail causing it to shake violently and knocking the campers down.

Bumpy walks over to Ben rubbing her head up against him causing the boy to look at the dinosaur. He then looks up at the emergency hatch before his face hardens and he looks back down at Bumpy and rubs her head "You're going to be okay" he says.

Darius and the others begin to get back on their feet shaking the cobwebs from their heads from the hit "Okay we need to distract the flock with our flashlights so that Darius can crawl over the top to the control car" Naruto says before a creaking is heard and they look to see Bum;y squealing as she stands on her hind legs looking up as Ben's lower half is seen shimmying up and out of the hatch

Darius's eyes widen seeing this and he runs over and climbs on the seat to reach the hatch pulling his upper body through it to see Ben crawling along the roof of the monorail "Ben what are you doing!" the boy yells over the rushing wind and screeches of the Pteranodons flying all around the train.

Ben stops upon hearing Darius's voice and looks back with a determined gaze "I can do this just to distract them!" he yells before resuming his crawling.

Hearing this Darius ducks back down into the monorail cars narrowly avoiding the grasping talons of a Pteranodon as it swoops down to try and snatch him. Landing back in the train Darius looks to the others "Ben is going for the hatch! We have to keep the flock away from him!" he yells before running towards the back of the Monorail shining his flashlight into the air to attract the flying reptiles away from Ben. The others quickly follow after him and begin shining their own flashlights to help.

Ben pants as he crawls atop the monorail, the wind stinging his eyes before he notices the swarm of flying reptiles start to head back towards the back section of the monorail attracted by the flashlights. "I can do this" he tells himself repeatedly gulping as he nearly slips and almost falling off the monorail giving him a heartstopping view of the ground roughly one hundred feet below and zooming by. Steeling his nerves as he sees the wrecked monorail fast approaching he quickly crawls the rest of the way to the hatch and opens it before dropping down into the command car. He quickly heads over to the control console and his face pales as he sees how advanced it is having no idea what levers or buttons he needs to use. The boy panics as he sees the wrecked monorail literally feet away so he just pulls a lever which miraculously was the right one as the track switches in the nick of time. The monorail scrapes along the wrecked one in a shower of sparks and screeching metal as it goes along the new track. After it passes by the wrecked monorail having been knocked off balance by the collision falls off the track and crashes to the ground in a fiery explosion as the campers watch in disbelief.

They quickly snap out of their disbelief as they let out a cheer and run towards the control car making it just in time to see Ben open the door his figure almost angelic given the lighting of the control car illuminating him from behind.

"Ben Ben Ben Ben Ben!" The campers cheer with Naruto even letting out a whistle thoroughly impressed by the frightened teens bravery and stepping up to the occasion.

"You saved us Ben. I didn't know you had it in you" Darius says with a smile complimenting the boys bravery.

"Major respect for stepping up Ben good job" Naruto says with a smirk and a nod of respect to the boy.

Ben has a smile on his face and takes a step towards the others when suddenly the glass siding to the left of him shatters inward. Almost as if it was in slow motion a Pteranodon immediately follows the glass entering the control car talons first knocking the driver's seat out the other side of the car shattering that glass in the process. Ben's and the campers expression turn to horror as the flying reptile latches onto the boy with its talons and begins to fly out of the train car with him in it's grip in one fluid motion.

Acting fast Darius lunges forward and with a yell of "BEN!" reaches out and grabs the boys hand freeing him from the Pteranodons grip but now leaving the boy dangling from the monorail with Darius grip being his only lifeline from a long fall to his certain death.

Seeing this Naruto snaps out of his shock and leaps into action "HOLD ON!" he yells and takes a step forward to try and grab Ben and help pull him up. However he is stopped by a second Pteranodon flying through the broken siding and grabbing onto him causing him to grunt from the sudden impact and before he or any of the others can do anything he is carried out of the car and into the darkness of the night and out of sight.

"Help!" Ben screams trying to grab Darius's arm with his other hand but is unable to and his grip starts slipping.

"Hang on!" Darius yells wincing as he tries to keep his grip on Ben but can feel the boy slipping through his grasp.

"Darius, Darius, Darius!" Ben repeatedly yells frantically as he slips more and more from the boy's grip and looks down to see the ground and certain death below. The boys eyes widen in terror as he fully slips from Darius's grip and begins to fall to his death only to be saved at the last second by Darius catching his hand with both of his and holding tight. Both boys let out a sigh of relief and Darius makes to pull Ben back up into the monorail when there is a screech as a Pteranodon flies by hitting Ben and knocking him out of Darius's grasp.

Darius and the others watch in horror as Ben plummets towards the ground a look of utter terror frozen on his face as he falls into the darkness of the jungle a pair of Pterandons chasing his falling body.

The campers remain frozen in place in disbelief and shock at the apparent deaths of Naruto and Ben within the span of mere moments of each other, Kenji falls to his knees as everyone just stares vacantly out the side of the monorail as Bumpy walks to the edge and lets out a sorrowful sounding bleating

"He's gone, he's gone…they're gone" Yaz whispers to herself in shock at what just happened falling to her knees in despair.

"I won't believe it!" Sammy suddenly yells as she rushes over to the side of the monorail car and is grabbed by Kenji who just holds her as she starts to cry.

Darius is looking at his hand visualizing Ben slipping from his grip, the look of terror on the boys face as he falls, the look haunting Darius as he could see the leading in Ben's eyes to save him. He is snapped out of his thoughts as Brooklynn puts her hand on his shoulder wiping some tears from the corner of her eyes. The boy then looks out at the passing scenery his eyes widening "We're going back" he whispers out.

"What!?" Kenji asks turning to look at the boy with Sammy still in his grip as she sobs into his chest.

"The monorail's going back!" Darius yells though before he can explain further the sound of he brakes screeching is heard and the campers are thrown to the floor as the monorails zips around a tight turn given the speed they were traveling at.

"What do you mean going back?" Brooklynn asks from her spot on the floor next to Darius.

"When we switched tracks we must have ended up on one that is headed north. We're not going to South Docks, we're going away from them!" Darius responds before getting up and rushing to the control console before starting to frantically push buttons and pull levers trying anything to stop the monorail "ARGH! DOESN'T ANYTHING HERE WORK!?" he yells in frustration as nothing he did topped the monorail.

The boy runs back to the others and is about to say something when a crashing sound is heard from behind him causing everyone to look towards the control car just in time to see something crash through the monorail's windshield and land on the floor in a heap. The teens looked in horror fearing another Pteranodon had entered the monorail only for their eyes to widen when they hear a groan followed by a familiar voice say "Fucking hell that hurt like shit" as the heap gets up to reveal none other than Naruto.

The campers were in awe as the teen stood before them seemingly back from the dead though looking a little sore for the wear given the large bleeding vertical cut starting at his forehead and trailing down over his eye before stopping at the top of his cheek. The blonde shook his head sending droplets of blood flying as he winced "Damn that fuckign stings, lucky I didn't lose my eye" he says before letting out a "Oof" as something collides with his chest causing him to look down to see the top of Yaz's head as she buries her face into his chest and wraps her arms around him tightly. "Heh hey there Yaz…" Naruto says awkwardly having no idea what to say given the situation though upon seeing the girls shoulders trembling slightly and feeling his shirt get a little wet he realizes she is quietly sobbing so he just wraps and arm around her shoulders and holds her for a moment.

Yaz finally pulls herself from his chest and looks up at him, her eyes wide "...How?" she asks simply before wincing as she sees the large bleeding cut on his face.

"Not going to lie, I have no idea how I managed to pull off what I did…" Naruto begins to say before he starts explaining what happened.

(Few Moments Ago)

Naruto was disorientated as a result of the impact from whatever hit him. The blonde felt a pair of talons gripping his shoulders which was enough of an indication for him to figure out that he had been hit by and picked up by a Pteranodon and was currently being hauled through the night sky. Shaking his head to clear his dazed state Naruto looks up at the Pteranodon carrying him away and his eyes widen slightly as he sees a familiar knife lodged in its shoulder "You have got to be kidding me" the blonde mutters upon seeing that the flying reptile carrying him off is the same one that he threw his knife into.

The blonde begins to struggle in the animal's grip trying to get loose as he figured he had a decent chance of snagging a tree branch on his fall back down to the ground. Feeling its catch, the Pteranodon lets out a squawk and sinks its talons deeper into Naruto's shoulders, drawing blood and getting a wince from the blonde. Naruto manages to raise his left arm up enough to where he is able to punch the Pteranodons right leg causing a snap to be heard before the animal lets out a scratch of pain and lets go of him with that talon. However in doing so the leg begins to flail and grasp at the teen trying to sink the sharp talons back into the blonde only to miss and end up slashing him across the face.

"Agh!" Naruto yells out in pain as he feels the razor sharp talons slice through his flesh, the vision in his right eye turning red as blood from his open wound seeps down across it. Fueled by pain and rage at having been injured, Naruto grabs the other leg holding him and tears it free from his shoulder, also tearing some of his own flesh away in the process. Not done yet the blonde then begins to haphazardly climb up the Pteranodons body narrowly avoiding its spear-like beak as it tries to peck at him before grabbing his knife from the animal's shoulder. Flipping the knife so that he was holding it in a reverse grip he slashes out at the animal's neck and feels the resistance of flesh, muscle, and bone as the knife slices through it entirely thus decapitating the Pteranodon.

The animal's body hung in the air twitching as blood poured from its severed neck before it along with Naruto began crashing down towards the ground. The blonde lets go of his grip on the carcass as he falls preparing to try his best to grab a tree branch only to shield his eyes as he sees a bright light heading towards him and he is suddenly crashing through something.

(Now)

The campers were in a state of silent disbelief as Naruto finished telling them what happened to him and how he ended up crashing through the windshield of the Monorail "So on the plus side I got my knife back, though on the negative side I took a slash to the face, tore my shoulder up pretty bad, and was hit by the monorail…all in all I think I got off pretty good" Naruto jests with a slight chuckle before wincing as Yaz pulls back from his grip and slaps him across his left cheek.

"YOU ALMOST DIE AND THINK IT'S FUNNY TO MAKE A JOKE!" the girl yells her face twisted in rage at the sheer audacity of the blonde.

Naruto's eyes widened not only from the shock of the slap but also the look in Yaz's eyes. As he looked into her chocolate brown eyes and saw anger but underneath that he saw worry and hurt. Seeing this he let out a sigh "Yeah sorry about that I guess it was in pretty poor taste" he says to her in a sincere tone before seeing her expression soften as her anger fades. Naruto then looks at the others and notices Ben nowhere to be seen. "So what's the situation…and where is Ben?" he asks. The eyes of the others widen before they look down sadly which causes Naruto's eyes to widen before he sighs "Dammit" he says simply both mad and disappointed in himself for both failing to save the boy and losing a member of their group as it was his responsibility to get them to safety.

"As for our current situation, after we changed tracks we realized that we are now heading north and thus away from the ferry docks." Darius says, summing up their situation.

"Crap that explains why I crashed through the windshield of this monorail as you guys looped back around the way we came. It also means we need jump off the monorail" Naruto says simply causing the others to look at him as if he was crazy.

"Are you crazy we can't jump!" Sammy yells in shock as there was no way they would survive jumping out of the monorail from this height.

"There should be a turn coming up where the track dips down a bit to where we have about a 60-40 chance of living if we jump. It's the only choice we have as there are no stops between here and back at Main Street. If we stay on the monorail and ride it as it loops back around we won't make it to the docks in time before the last boat leaves." Naruto says explaining their situation to them and not holding anything back as they deserved to know just how risky what they needed to do was.

Brooklynn hearing this walks to the side of the monorail car and looks out the broken glass gazing out in front of them to see the bend in the track that Naruto was talking about "He's right the track dips down by at least 10-20 feet up ahead it's our best chance to jump!" she yells to the others.

"Naruto's right it's our only chance to make it to the boats" Darius says agreeing with the blonde after hearing Brooklynn confirm what he said.

The other campers look amongst themselves for a moment before they nod their heads reluctantly as they realize it's the only way as well. As the monorail starts to approach the turn they get ready to jump standing near the edge of the broken siding. Kenji sees Ben's fanny pack lying on the floor of the monorail car and picks it up before securing it to himself before he grabs Bumpy and manages to barely pick her up holding her so that she wouldn't be left behind.

As the monorail starts entering the turn Naruto picks up Yaz holding her bridal style causing her to look at him "Figured it would be easier for you given your leg" he says with a slight shrug before his gaze turned to look out the train "Alright we are almost at the lowest point. I will jump first and when I do all of you immediately jump after me. When you hit the ground immediately go limp so that you roll given how we will be landing on a hill…DO NOT tense up in anticipation of hitting the ground or you will at best severely break something or at worst die" he says telling the others what they need to do in order to give themselves the best chance of not only surviving but coming away with minimal to no injuries. Seeing the point where they need to jump, Naruto tightens his grip on Yaz, unknowingly making her blush slightly as she feels his muscles through his shirt "Okay here we go 3…2…1…JUMP!" he yells jumping out of the monorail with the others following right behind him.

The campers all scream as they fall through the air as Naruto also shifts his grip on Yaz holding her parallel to him so that he can absorb most of the impact as the group crashes through some palm fronds before hitting the ground with a series of grunts. Just as Naruto instructed they all go completely limp except for Naruto and Kenji who still had to hold on to Yaz and Bumpy respectively. As they roll down the hill the campers grunt and groan from the rough landing and in the process Kenji loses his grip on Bumpy causing the baby ankylosaurus to roll off in a different direction with a squeal. Their rough roll down the hill finally comes to an abrupt end as they roll into some tree trunks letting out loud grunts as due to the sudden stop.

"Ow, is everyone alright?" Darius asks as he slowly starts to get up Brooklynn lying next to him given how she had collided with him when he hit the tree trunk that stopped him.

"Yeah I think so" Sammy says rubbing her head as she had bumped it a bit when she had her own abrupt landing.

"Ish what about you" Brooklynn asks getting up herself before looking to Darius given how she slammed into him.

"A little sore but nothing serious" Darius replies to her as he rubbed his lower back which had been what hit the tree.

"Were good too" Naruto chimes in with a slightly higher than normal voice as he helps Yaz walk over to the others.

"Why does your voice sound funny?" Darius asks, finding it strange that the blondes voice suddenly changed.

"...I accidentally kneed him in the balls when we hit the ground and then again when we hit the tree that stopped us" Yaz says looking sheepish as she felt really bad for the accident.

"Not a good day for my balls" Naruto says his voice returning to normal but still wincing every so often as phantom pains shoot through him. The blonde then wipes the blood out of his right eye as his cut had started to bleed heavily again.

Seeing this Yaz unzips her jacket and grabs the bottom section of her lavender shirt before tearing off another strip of it before she begins tying it around Naruto's head covering up his cut but also his right eye. The girl then notices his shoulder bleeding some more and tears off another strip exposing nearly half of her midriff before she proceeds to remove his shirt much to his embarrassment before she begins wrapping the torn bit of shirt around his bleeding shoulder. After she's done her eyes suddenly widen at how she had just absentmindedly stripped Naruto causing her to blush.

Naruto proceeds to put his shirt back on before looking at the blushing girl and raising his left eyebrow "I really think I should stop getting injured as at this rate you will be topless before we reach the boats" he comments casually causing the girl to blush more.

However before the girl could form a response she was interrupted by Kenji yelling "Bumpy! Where's Bumpy!? I lost her when I hit the ground she's gotta be here somewhere" the teen says with a panicked look on his face before he continues to call out for the baby Ankylosaur.

"Kenji keep it down!" Naruto whispers harshly causing the asian teen to look at him "We have no idea what other carnivores could be roaming around out here besides Toro and the Indominus. Thankfully we likely don't have to worry about Toro at the moment given how far we managed to take the monorail but that still leaves the Indominus and who knows what else out here, and you yelling your head off is like ringing the fricking dinner bell to them" he explains to the teen.

"Naruto's right back in 2001 during the Kirby Incident on Isla Sorna, Eric Kirby's mother was yelling into a megaphone calling out for her son and boyfriend. Dr. Grant tried to warn her it was a bad idea but it was to late and he credits that to what initially drew the attention of the Spinosaurus to them which led to them being stuck on the island after their plane crashed trying to take off" Darius chimes in explaining just how bad yelling out into the jungle that potentially had carnivorous dinosaurs in it could be.

"Exactly and while there isn't an alive Spinosaurus on the island there are a plethora of other carnivores that would just love to find an easy meal in the form of six tired, varying degrees of injured, and mostly helpless campers…so please stop yelling" Naruto says with a deadpan look at the teen.

"We gotta at least look for her right? Not to mention Ben he might still be-" Sammy asks in a slightly panicked tone only for Yaz to cut her off.

"How? We don't even know where they are or where they fell! And we have no idea how long it would take to find them and get to the docks!" The track girl snaps in a harsh tone causing the Texan to wince.

As if someone had heard the girl's remark the campers heard the speakers come to life in the distance "Attention! All park-goers MUST report to the South Ferry Dock for immediate evacuation…Last Ferry departs in 3 hours" the man's voice announced again repeating the announcement from before but updating the time left until the last boat leaves.

Hearing this caused Yaz to grit her teeth "There is no chance we get there in under 3 hours" she snaps out in frustration.

"We might if we leave right now!" Brooklynn shouts trying to be optimistic despite deep down having a sinking feeling in her gut that Yaz was right.

"But Bumpy and Ben…" Sammy begins to say only to trail off.

"ENOUGH!" Naruto yells causing the others to all look at him "We can't go back for Ben…The odds of him surviving are minimal at best. If the Pteranodons didn't peck him to death in the air, then they would have dropped him and the fall from that height would have killed him outright if he was lucky. If he wasn't then he would have likely been fatally injured or paralyzed, either of which would make him a sitting duck for the Pteranodons to finish. All we can do for Ben is hope that he had a painless and quick death" he says somberly and not shying away from any of the darker details as that wouldn't help the others right now. Taking a deep breath before letting it out the blonde then continued "As for Bumpy she is likely fine from the fall given her armor plating but looking for her makes no sense as it would waste too much time. Even if we did manage to find her and get to the South Dock in time it wouldn't matter as the workers wouldn't allow us to take her on the boat with us meaning she would have to stay behind anyway." he adds cementing why they couldn't look for Bumpy.

"Naruto is right…Ben is gone, and regarding Bumpy he already explained why it wouldn't make sense to look for her. However we can still try and make it to the docks but we need to go now!" Darius says with a somber look that shifts into a determined one.

The campers look amongst themselves and Kenji then looks down to Ben's fanny pack that he is where before Naruto simply says "We need to go" before helping Yaz along as they begin heading in the direction of the south dock. The others watch them run off Yaz limping quickly alongside Naruto, before they also start running in the direction of the south dock.

(Dave and Roxie)

The two counselors were back in their "borrowed" truck zooming through the dark jungle as they made their way to the South Docks "Repeat! Roxie and I saw you guys on the monorail. We're headed to meet you at the South Docks…Naruto do you copy?" Dave says into his radio trying to reach the kids in the hopes that they found a new radio or were able to hear him somehow. The man grits his teeth in frustration "If you can hear me just get to the boats okay? Don't stop for anything, just keep going!" he pleads into the radio before letting go of the talk button with a sigh.

"They're going to be okay Dave…They have to be'' Roxie says from the driver's seat as she looks over to him before turning her attention back to the dark jungle road as they head towards the South Dock.

(With the Campers)

The campers were running as fast as they could in the direction of the South Docks however it just wasn't fast enough in their minds. Despite having set out a few moments before the others Naruto and Yaz had fallen behind the others and were starting to lag even further behind as a result of Yaz's ankle and Naruto's depth perception being messed up as a result of him having his right eye covered. The two fall to the ground with a yelp as Yaz's ankle gives out and Naruto trips over a large rock.

Hearing the yelp Brooklynn turns around to see them fall "Guys!" she yells getting the attention of the others who stop before they all rush over to Naruto and Yaz. Brooklyn kneels down to Yaz her eyes widening as she spots the track star's ankle and shin having noticeably swelled up "How are you even walking?!" the pink haired girl asked in shock.

"I'm highly motivated" Yaz replies with a strained tone in her voice as she holds her ankle for a moment.

Naruto lets out a groan as he touches the makeshift bandage that Yaz wrapped around his head "I need to adjust this as I can't see shit" he says with a wince as he tries to shift the bandage so that it's no longer blocking his eyesight. There is a wet sloshing sound as he moves the blood soaked bandage up so that it covers the section of his cut on his forehead while leaving his eye and the part of the cut on his cheek exposed "Fuck that hurt but at least I can see now" he says panting slightly from having suppressed the urge to scream from the pain.

The others had to gulp down the vomit that rose in their throats having witnessed Naruto's correction of the bandage. Naruto then stands up and helps Yaz to her feet before supporting her again. The girl takes a single step before letting out a yelp of pain and collapsing back to the ground.

"She can't keep up like this! What do we do?" Sammy says from the side as she watches Yaz fall back to the ground.

"We can't stop, we could try making a stretcher?" Darius points out trying to think of something that would help them transport the wounded girl.

"No time I can just carry her" Naruto says, kneeling down before he starts to lift Yaz up in his arms, bridal style "AHH!" only to let out a yell of pain as the weight of the girl causes his injured shoulder to give out sending the two falling back to the ground "Dammit there goes my shoulder…New plan going to have to do it piggy back. Yaz climb on my back and then hook your left leg around so that it's in front of my waist. With my shoulder jacked up like this, that's the only way we will get your left side to stay off the ground" the blonde says, instructing the girl.

"Are you sure this will work Naruto?" Yaz asks as she does as he instructed before wrapping her arms around his neck and feeling him grab a hold of the underside of her right thigh before standing up.

"Yeah and especially since we don't want to go with plan c" Naruto says, taking a few steps to make sure he had a tight grip on the girl.

"What's plan c?" Yaz asks with a raised eyebrow.

"I carry you over my right shoulder like how a caveman would," Naruto says simply shifting his grip on her thigh slightly so it's in a better position.

The image of Naruto carrying her like a caveman, his hand on her ass as it rested next to his head filled the girl's mind causing her to heavily blush though it was thankfully hidden from the view of the others by the darkness of night "We are not doing plan c!" the girl says suddenly lightly tugging on the blonde's right ear.

"Ah easy I need that! Geez if you dislike plan c that much you would really hate plan d where I drag you behind me…and I should have just kept my mouth shut" Naruto says with a wince before sighing as he realized what he just said and the girl began renewing her tugging of his ear.

"As funny as this is to watch, we need to go!" Brooklynn states with her arms crossed as her left foot was tapping showing her impatience.

"Brooklynn's right we need to go and could really use a shortcut…Wait a minute Kenji the tunnels!" Darius says in agreement before his eyes widen in realization. The boy walks over to Kenji who is standing off to the side looking vacantly down at the ground "Kenji! The maintenance tunnel, there has to be one that leads to the docks right!?" he asks grabbing and shaking the older teen snapping him out of his dazed state.

Hearing this the teens eyes widen before he runs off with the others following right behind him. After a couple minutes of running the campers across one of the hidden maintenance hatches disguised as rocks that lead down to the underground tunnels and climb down the ladder into it. As they reach the bottom of the ladder and fully enter the tunnel they notice how the entire thing is bathed in an eerie red glow from emergency lighting instead of the normal fluorescent lighting.

"This will get us to the docks in half the time and we won't have to worry about running into any dinos" Kenji says before he starts running down the tunnel with the campers following close behind.

"Are we sure "Mr. VIP" knows where he is going?" Brooklynn asks out loud as they all continue following the teen.

"Kenji took me down here before, just trust him. We'll be outta here in no…time" Darius replies to the girl, looking back at her as he does so before trailing off as he turns a corner and sees Kenji stopped in front of a large gate of reinforced steel bars that blocks the whole tunnel. The campers look at the large gate barring their way for a moment before turning to look at Kenji.

"Everything looks different with the lights all freaky like this okay?" Kenji says before he runs down another side tunnel as the campers wait there only to hear him yell "No" before running back and heading down yet another tunnel.

"I have a bad feeling about this" Naruto says before wincing as Yaz gives him a noogie "Ahh geez what'd I do now?" he asks looking over his shoulder at the girl he was carrying on his back.

"No doing that whole cliche quoting of Star Wars" Yaz says, narrowing her eyes slightly as it wasn't the time for jokes.

"Okay…But I wasn't trying to quote Star Wars. I actually have a bad feeling about this based on how the tunnel gates are locked" the blonde responds, causing Yaz's eyes to widen before she sheepishly chuckles thinking he was trying to make a joke instead of being serious. The campers then decide to follow after Kenji having not heard him yell "No" since running down the tunnel figuring he found the right way.

Said teen ran down the tunnel before sliding around the corner only to stop in front of another security gate "What? This wasn't here before!" Keni exclaims in a confused tone.

"Why are there so many security gates!?" Yaz asked in frustration from her spot on Naruto's back, finding the sheer amount of security gates that were activated insane.

"It's likely one of two possibilities. Either the controls in the command center were damaged somehow causing the park and by extension the gates to automatically lockdown as a precaution. Or these gates were all manually activated by the park workers overseeing the evacuation at the docks" Naruto explains shifting his grip to maintain his grip on the girl as she had squirmed around in her frustration causing his grip to slip slightly.

"Can we find a switch to override them somewhere in here?" Sammy asked hopefully as it would make things much easier for them for once.

"No, the only switches to deactivate the lockdown are at the Command Center, initial main entrance to the tunnels, or down at the docks. We would have to backtrack all the way to the entrance and flip the switch there as it's the closest one we could reach. The issue is that we would then have to run all the way to the docks hping that a worker there doesn't see the gates unlock and then re-lock them which aren't good odds for us" Naruto explains causing the group to groan in dismay.

"Damn we have to go around then, this way!" Kenji says running down another tunnel, the others right behind him. However after running for a bit they turn a corner only to let out groans as they come upon another security gate. Next to the gate is a door that the teen starts ramming his shoulder into and banging on trying to bust it open.

On the other side of the hallway are a series of lockers that Sammy and Brooklynn begin opening looking for anything useful. As Brooklynn opens a locker a metal pole with a two-pronged tip at one end falls out with a clatter "Oh we can use this for-" she begins to say only for Kenji to snatch the pole out of her hands and slam it into the door trying to force it open. Unfortunately for the teen the rod happened to be a shock prod which activated as it hit the door releasing a jolt of electricity that shocked him causing him to yelp and fall to the ground twitching slightly.

"-A walking stick" Brooklyn says resuming her sentence as she picks up the rod and flicks the switch at the bottom to turn it off causing the electric current jolting between the two prongs to fade away. She then turns to Naruto and Yaz "Unless you are fine with Naruto continuing to carry you?" she asks Yaz with a raised eyebrow and funny look in her eyes.

Yaz sees the look and knows what the pink haired girl is implying causing her to silently huff before she gingerly gets down off Naruto's back and grabs the makeshift walking stick and starts using it to support herself.

"You got this Yaz? I mean I don't mind carrying you" Naruto says looking at the girl as while using the walking stick would help her move, him carrying her would be easier.

"I can do this" she replies with a determined look in her eye and a nod which Naruto reciprocates as he couldn't force her to let him carry her if she didn't want to be carried.

Kenji had started to get up off the floor when Sammy walked over and held her hand out to help him up. However the teen just ignored the action and got up by himself "I'm fine!" he says with a huff before walking over to the gate and slamming his fists on it with a clang that echoes throughout the tunnel.

The others were about to say something when the speakers activated again "Attention all park-goers must report to the South Ferry Dock for immediate evacuation…Last Ferry leaves in 1 Hour 30 Minutes" the same man's voice said.

"Seriously dude fuck off!" Kenji snaps at the voice as if it would do something.

"Just try to remember breathe-What do you think I have been doing? Coming down here was your idea Darius!" Darius begins to say trying to help only for Kenji to snap at him, cutting him off.

"Hey cool your jets Kenji! It's not Darius's fault that the security gates are activated." Brooklynn snaps back at Kenji in defense of Darius when she sees him visibly flinch from the older teens' outburst.

"Um guys? The way we came from…where does that tunnel end?" Sammy asks in a frightened tone as she looks down another tunnel.

"It opens up into the park, I guess. Why do you want to-"Kenji begins to say before a loud snarl is heard and the campers turn to look down the tunnel Sammy is looking down. At the end of the tunnel they see a large shadow of a dinosaur's head on the far wall, its mouth opening showing its teeth confirming it's a carnivore.

(With Dave and Roxie)

The counselors had made it to the south ferry docks and the chaos that they were in as people ran towards the ferries in droves trying to escape the island. They were currently standing next to an exhausted and overwhelmed park worker that was trying to direct people to the ferry's in an orderly manner "Okay that's it everybody, there we go! HEY no shoving there will be enough seats for everyone! Keep moving this way!" he yells out over the chaos.

"There were seven teenagers, one of which was Mr. Masrani's Son! You're sure you didn't see them?" Roxie asks the man in a desperate and annoyed tone.

"What!? No I didn't notice seven kids in the middle of the thousands of people here fleeing the island! Right this way sir, keep moving please, HEY DON'T PUSH! SOMEBODY GET THAT MAN AND THOSE KIDS UP BEFORE THEY ARE TRAMPLED!" the man says before going back to directing the fleeing park-goers and yelling when he sees an elderly man and his grandkids shoved to the ground and nearly trampled by the horde of people before security rushes in and rescues them just in time "You know, we're kind of in the middle of an emergency evacuation so I don't have time to deal with you!" he snaps at Dave and Roxie.

"Yeah we picked up on that no need to be an ass about it. Now where is Claire Dearing?" Dave asks with a sigh.

"Who?" the man asks turning to look at them briefly.

"Are you freaking kidding me!? Forget this Rox, we gotta go back in and look for them" Dave exclaims before sighing again as he and Roxie turn around to start heading back to their truck to resume looking for the campers in the park.

"What! No, absolutely not! You're being evacuated!" the man says rushing over and getting in front of them blocking their way.

"What and you're going to stop us?" Roxie asks with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes I am that's my job. Now you can stay here to search but when that last ferry leaves you WILL be on it!" the man says in a commanding tone.

"Oh and what if we refuse?" Roxie says crossing her arms over her chest and narrowing her eyes at the man.

"Then so help me you will be physically placed on that boat though whether or not you are conscious will be up to you" the man says narrowing his eyes as he reaches over to a crate and grabs a shock prod before hitting the switch making it crackle to life and pointing it at the two counselors.

"...What if we refuse politely?" Dave asks with a sheepish grin causing Roxie to sigh and stare at him with a deadpan look on her face.

(With the Campers)

The campers watched the shadow of the carnivore's head in fright as it continued to snarl before they slowly started to back up. However Yaz tripped over her feet due to her injury and having to use the shock prod as a walking stick causing her to tumble towards the ground. Luckily Naruto was able to catch her before she hit the ground but unluckily the shock prod slipped out of her grip and fell with a loud clang that echoed down the tunnel. The sound of the shock prod hitting the ground caught the attention of the dinosaur as indicated by the sound of its claws tapping against the concrete floor of the tunnel getting louder. Hearing this Kenji hurried and grabbed the shock prod off the floor and held it in a firm grip towards the oncoming dinosaur before flicking the switch making the electricity crackle to life between the two prongs. The dinosaur rushed around the corner in a flurry as it ran towards the campers letting out a screeching and baring its sharp teeth before it came to a stop just in front of the shock prod revealing to the campers that it was just a Compy.

"Oh it's just a Compy" Darius says letting out a sigh of relief at the dinosaur being that instead of something much worse. Kenji narrows his eyes at the Compy and jabs the shock prod forward in an intimidation display causing the Compy to let out a screech before running off.

"Seriously Kenji? It's like a foot tall!" Brooklyn snaps finding the display unessicairy and sort of cruel to be honest given how the Compy hadn't even done anything.

"Yeah dude it's not cool to do shit like that especially when it comes to Compies as while small and pretty simple minded they have a nasty mean streak and seem to remember the people that mess with them" Naruto says with a shake of his head as he remembered reading about the Isla Sorna incident in 1997 and how one of the InGen guys tormented a Compy with a cattle prod only to end up getting eaten by them later on.

"Um guys the Compy is also not alone" Yaz says pointing down the tunnel where a dozen more Compies had joined the one Kenji scared and were now looking at the campers.

"We should really go in a group Compies can-" Darius begins to say.

"Not really the time for a lesson Dino-nerd!"Kenji snaps interrupting him and turning to look at the boy while a Compy jumps up onto his shoulder.

"Oi Kenji don't let it bite you, Compies have a venomous bite!" Naruto warns as the teens eyes widen and he grabs the Compy before throwing it off him.

"Oh Darius telling us about the Compies isn't a big deal, especially when you haven't gotten us anywhere near the dock, Mr VIP" Brooklyn snaps as she watches Kenji point the shock prod at the group of Compies.

"Oh yeah I'm sorry…Don't you have some sort of "Unboxing being a bitch all the time" video to start shooting?" Kenji says turning to look at Brooklynn whose eyes widen and she gasps in shock at what he just said to her.

"Hey calm down! You guys are scaring the itty-bitty Compy family" Sammy says as she steps in between Kenji and Brooklynn.

"Scaring the…Are you for real!? After EVERYTHING that has happened today you're defending the dinosaurs!" Kenji snaps at the cowgirl pulling a Compy that had jumped onto him and was clawing at Ben's fanny pack off before throwing the dino to the side.

"Hey it's not Sammy's fault that YOU got us lost!" Brooklynn yells coming to the girls defense and glaring at Kenji.

"It's definitely her fault for some of this" Yaz says with a scoff before feeling a hand on her shoulder and turning to see Naruto shake his head at her with a look that she assumes means 'Not the time'.

"Let it go Yaz it was just a phone!" Brooklynn says figuring that's what Yaz was referring to.

Hearing this Yaz turns back to look at Brooklynn and raises an eyebrow "Wait what?...I don't even know what's going on anymore" she says with a scoff as she rubs her temples.

"Guys! Just stop-" Darius begins to say as he jumps back to avoid a leaping Compy before a loud roar was heard.

The roar stops all the bickering as the campers and the Compies all freeze before turning to look further down the tunnel. "You have got to be fucking kidding me" Naruto whispers out as none other than Toro lumbers around the corner of the tunnel with a growl. Seeing the large predator the Compies all schriek in distress before darting through the campers legs as they run to escape.

Toro lets out a loud roar as the campers start scrambling to run away with Kenji giving Yaz back the shock prod before they all run or in the case of Yaz a limping run with Naruto helping support her alongside the makeshift walking stick. The campers run down the tunnel with Kenji in the lead when he suddenly yells "Here it's the only way we haven't gone yet!" and takes a left turn while the campers follow with Toro right behind them.

"Now you know which way to go!?" Brooklynn yells at the top of her lungs to be heard over the roaring of the bloodthirsty carnivore right behind them.

"You wanna stop and ask Toro for directions!?" Kenji yells back sarcastically as they continue running, gaining some distance from Toro when they take another turn, this one being to the right and the dinosaur trips and falls.

However Toro quickly gets back onto her feet and resmuses chasing the campers. They run down the tunnel only to hit another security gate just managing to dodge out of the way of Toro as the dinosaur slams into the gate with a roar and is dazed from the impact. Seeing their chance the teens run down another tunnel, followed by turning down another, and another and yet another with Toro briefly losing sight of them each time they round a corner. Toro rounds the corner she had just seen her prey turn only to find them nowhere in sight. The dinosaur lets out a roar of rage before heading down another tunnel.

"We can't stay here, the ferry-" Sammy's voice is heard saying from inside a ventilation grate tucked into the wall and at floor level only to be shushed.

"Quiet Sammy" Kenji whispers to the girl as the campers all kneel in the ventilation shaft. Naruto then begins leading the campers down the shaft with them having to crawl due to how cramped it was. After a very brief crawl they turn a corner in the shaft to see another grate.

"Where do you think it leads?" Yaz asks from next to Naruto, having crawled up alongside him as he stopped.

"Honestly no idea but it's most likely better than our current spot" Naruto says before crawling and trying to push the grate off to no avail. Yaz sees him struggling and goes to help but even then the two aren't able to get the grate open. The blonde then notices something causing him to deadpan "What moron put additional screws on on the INSIDE of the grate and used titanium screws at that!" he says in a loud whisper before letting out a sigh and situating himself so that his feet were facing the grate. Rearing his leg back Naruto delivered a heavy kick to the grate denting it and sending a loud clanging sound echoing out of the shaft.

The campers held their breath for a moment as the sound traveled further away and died down before letting out a sigh of relief. However the second they did that Toro's head bursts through the grate that had used to enter the shaft causing Brooklynn to yelp as she was closest to it. The dinosaur wedges its head and snaps its jaws repeatedly in its attempt to sink its teeth into the pink haired girl as she scrambles further into the shaft to avoid said jaws.

Hearing this Naruto rears his leg back again before once more kicking the grate this time ripping it off its screws and sending it flying out into wherever it led to. Looking back at the others he yelled "GO!" as they all quickly crawled past him before exiting the shaft. The blonde teen gave one last look down the shaft at Toro who was roaring in rage at being denied her prey once again before he crawled out of the vent into a much larger tunnel than the one they were just in. The blonde gets up onto his feet and looks around at the much bigger tunnel noticing a rail track in the middle of the tunnel. The blonde feels Yaz nudge him with her shoulder before she points at the wall with a grin and begins hobbling down the tunnel with the others. Naruto's eyes widen when he sees a sign on the side of the wall "Heh well how about that" he says aftering reading the sign which says 'Exit to South Dock 1,000 Feet" before heading down the tunnel with the others.

The campers let out a few chuckles of joy at finally being in the clear as they head towards a bright light and enter a large loading station room filled with crates and storage containers. However their joy turns to despair when they notice on the other side of the room is a massive stone security door blocking them from reaching the docks.

"No no no no" Kenji says in despair before the campers start moving crates around and searching everywhere trying to find another way out "There's gotta be a door or…" Kenji says before trailing off.

"There's no way out, Ugh they must have sealed it off after the park was finished" Brooklynn says her voice trembling in fear slightly.

"Ugh! Can't ANYONE associated with this place just make one good decision for once…No offense of course" Yaz yells out before her eyes widen as she realizes what she just said and looks to Naruto before adding that last part.

"None taken, and this was the best decision they had as while it screws us over they did it to ensure the safety of everyone else at the docks. The parks disaster protocol is that when all the park goers have reached the evacuation dock that every gateway leading to said dock is sealed. I'm betting that in the chaos of the park-wide evacuation there was a breakdown in communication or something that led to the gates getting sealed prematurely stranding us in here" Naruto says with a shrug of his shoulders not offended by Yaz's statement before explaining what likely happened. The others all slumped hearing this before they heard a roar echoing down from the tunnel causing them to flinch.

"What do we do know?" Kenji asks a fearful look on his face.

"I don't know" Naruto said with a defeated sigh as he honestly didn't know how they would get out of this.

"But you always know…" Sammy says trailing off at the end leaving her statement open.

"No I don't!" Naruto yells, shocking the group with his outburst "Look at what happened today! It was my decision that we head to the zipline tower and we barely survived that. It was my decision to head to the Genetics Lab and we were LUCKY to survive that. I had to watch as my dad fucking died in front of my eyes! Then there was my fuck up that led us into the fucking Mosasaurus Lagoon that nearly got You, Darius, and Yaz fucking eaten. Oh lets not forget the whole Monorail shit where because I wasn't paying attention I got fucking nabbed by one of those winged fuckers and thus Ben also fucking died! So no Sammy I have no fucking idea what we should do given our only way out if fucking block by a huge ass reinforced cement door!" he rages feeling all the stress and emotions of the day's events boiling up inside him before they explode outward in his rant. The blonde's outburst shocks the group as they had no idea the events of the day were getting to him that much given how he was still occasionally making jokes and everything. They then flinched as they hear another roar this one sounding louder echo down the tunnel "WILL YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP AND EITHER COME ON ALREADY OR GET FUCKING LOST!" Naruto screamed looking down the tunnel, his face twisted in anger.

"...Your the reason we are still alive and have made it this far Naruto" Darius says causing the blondes eyes to widen as he hears that "I mean your leadership is what got us through all this. Face it if you weren't here I bet the role of leader would have fallen on me and that would have been a disaster. We would be lucky to have survived the first encounter with the Indominus let alone everything that happened after. I mean I am just a dino-nerd that played a video game and got lucky, I'm not fit to be a leader" the boy adds with a smile.

"Darius is right, none of us would have known what to do if you weren't here" Kenji says with a look of respect on his face as he looks at Naruto.

"Yeah and because you didn't give up none of us gave up either" Brooklynn says with a nod of her head.

"You kept us going, no matter what some of us have done" Yaz adds with a slight dig at Sammy though not discrediting everything Naruto had done for the group.

"You chose to still try and get me to safety with the rest of the group despite me coming here to spy and give the secrets of the park to Mantah Crop simply because you saw it as your responsibility to get us all to safety." Sammy adds with a kind smile that radiates how grateful she is to the blonde for that.

"You also made us feel like we were in this together, so we are. We're a team, more specifically we're YOUR team" Yaz says, limping over to the blonde and placing her hand on his shoulder with a gentle smile on her face.

"Yeah remember its like my dad would say "Things fall apart, and that's okay because when that happens…" Darius begins to say with a fond smile of remembrance.

"Heh, we pick up the pieces and we keep going. Yeah I remember I have to say Darius you dad sounds like he was a great guy" Naruto says with a small grin on his face as he mood is uplifted by the support and faith that the others have in him. The mood was broken however as Toro's roar was heard even louder than was the previous time "Alright we can figure out how to get out of here later. Right now our priority is dealing with Toro so let's check to see what's in these crates. If we're lucky we will find some tranq guns and if we're REALLY lucky we might find some actual lethal force guns" Naruto says getting determined nods from the others as they split up and begin searching the crates littered around the area.

The campers pry open several crates to reveal useless stuff like merchandise for the many gift shops of the park, a stack of books, and other useless things. "C'mon something pointy, c'mon something dangerous" Kenji chants as he opens another crate to reveal canisters "Medical supplies?" he says in a questioning tone.

"These are medical grade oxygen canisters. Think like a scuba tank but way more potent as these have pure oxygen in them. We had them around the house after my dad got sick. The oxygen inside is also super compressed and super sensitive to pressure and heat!" Darius says with wide eyes as he sees the green and silver canisters filling the crate.

"We could use them to scare Toro off maybe?" Brooklynn suggests with a raised eyebrow trying to think of a way they could be of use to the group.

"More like we could use them to blow Toro to pieces if we're lucky and also get enough of these together" Naruto says causing the groups eyes to widen "I have an idea so here's what we do…Darius Brooklynn, the two of you look for any other crates containing more of these, the more we have the better. Sammy, Kenji the two of you find a cart for us to put this crate and any that Darius and Brooklynn find on. Yaz you and I will make a fuse out of the bandages and tape lying off to the side there…However we are going to need something to light it" the blonde adds telling everyone their jobs before gaining a thoughtful look at the end as he tries to think of something that they could use to light the fuse.

Yaz then puts forward the shock prod before flipping the switch causing electricity to dance between the two prongs at the end of it "Will this work?" she asks with a lopsided smirk.

"Okay smartass, now everyone knows what to do so let's hurry up and get it done as Toro is getting close" Naruto says with a smirk right back at the girl for her cheeky remark before everyone goes to do their assigned jobs. After a few minutes the campers had completed their tasks with Darius and Brooklynn even finding another crate full of oxygen tanks for them to use. The group acted quickly and set both crates on the cart that Sammy and Kenji found before they ducked down behind the crates and waited for Toro to arrive.

They didn't have long to wait as mere moments after they hid Toro came lumbering into the area and began looking around. Seeing the dinosaur in the direct path of the cart should they push it Naruto looked over to Yaz "Alright light it" he says before she brought the shock prod down to the makeshift fuse the two of them made only for nothing to happen.

"It's not catching fire" Yaz whispers in frustration as she repeatedly presses the electric current to the fuse.

"Wait hand sanitizer this stuff will burn" Kenji says having an idea as he reaches into Ben's pack and pulls out the boy's bottle of hand sanitizer before dumping it all along the fuse.

Yaz proceeds to try igniting the fuse again and it immediately catches fire cause the campers eyes to watch in awe at their success "Thanks Ben" Brooklyn says quietly thanking their fellow camper for his help despite him being gone.

Seeing the fuse lit the campers quickly push the cart towards Toro who notices it and roars before charging the cart and head butting it. The force of the impact shatters the wooden crates sending flaming debris and oxygen tanks everywhere. The campers let out a yelp as several pieces of flaming debris land near them, the sound of their yelp catching Toro's attention as the dinosaur lets out a roar before charging at them.

"Run" Naruto yells seeing the charging dino.

"Where!" Kenji asks, his eyes widened in fear.

"Anywhere!" Brooklyn shouts as the campers all jump out of the way of the charging dinosaur which proceeds to crash head first into a metal shipping container.

The campers then scatter as Toro turns to face them with Kenji narrowly avoiding the jaws of death by rolling off the platform and onto the tracks. Toro lowers its head over the edge of the platform and snaps at the boy several times but luckily Kenji manges to roll out of the way just in time before getting to his feet and jumping over a part of the track.

Toro loses interest in Kenji and turns before charging at Sammy and Brooklynn who had hidden behind a couple of crates. Seeing the dinosaur now looking at them before it begins to charge them they jump off the platform as well landing on the tracks just in time as Toro lunges and misses them by inches. Toro suddenly hears a clanging noise and turns to see Yaz limping away further up the platform before tripping and falling. The dinosaur begins to charge at the helpless girl only for a hunk of flaming wood to hit it and stick into its side causing the dinosaur to let out a roar of pain.

"HEY! Over here bitch!" Naruto yells from the other side of the tracks, his knife drawn and held in a reverse grip in front of him. Seeing this, Toro narrows her eyes before letting out a roar which Naruto responds to via roaring himself before the dinosaur charges him.

Yaz capitalizes on this opportunity to hobble away managing to jump across a few rates before landing on the tracks and losing her footing though luckily Sammy manages to catch her before she fell. Yaz looks up at the cowgirl and says "Thanks" getting a nod in return as she is helped over to the edge of the platform next to the sealed gate where the others minus Naruto are.

"What do we do?" Brooklynn asks as they watch Naruto jump to the side to avoid Toro's jaws before slicing at the dinosaur's leg with his knife.

Darius looks from watching Naruto duck to avoid a swing of Toro's tail to the sealed gate where a large amount of the oxygen canisters had landed when the Carnotaurus destroyed the crates and an idea forms. Running over to the canisters he turns the valves on all of them resulting in them starting to spew their oxygen payload into the air and soon forming a thin visible cloud of the stuff. The Dino-nerd then "Yells Naruto the Gate!" before his eyes widen as he turns to see Naruto in the air descending towards Toro.

Naruto had avoided Toro's tail swipe narrowly ducking under it via a slide before grabbing hold of the tail and using it's momentum to launch himself into the air. Twisting his body around he righted himself before he began descending towards Toro his knife primed in a downward thrust aiming to sink the blade into the dinosaurs skull. However he had made the mistake of turning his attention towards Darius having heard his shout and noticing the cloud of pure oxygen forming by the wall. Hearing a snarl he turned his attention back to Toro just in time to narrowly avoid losing his arms to the dinosaur's jaws as he pulled them back and twisted just in time. This action resulted in him scraping along the side of the Carnotaurus's jaws before he landed on teh ground and dashed towards the cloud of Oxygen.

Toro immediately gave chase and within seconds lunged at Naruto who managed to jump out of the way in the nick of time as the dinosaur crashed into the gate and lost her balance before falling to the ground. Naruto took this opportunity to get up onto the platform where the others were just as Toro got back on her feet.

The dinosaur stared at and snarled at the campers as Darius was handed the shock prod by Yaz. The boy flicked the switch and electricity crackled for a second before the boy tossed it like a javelin at the cloud of oxygen that Toro was in. The campers watched with bated breath from behind some crates waiting for the gas to ignite and blow up the dinosaur.

However their hopes were dashed when Toro snatched the shock prod out of the air with her jaws effortlessly snapping the pole in half and breaking it. Thinking fast Naruto threw his knife at one of the leaking oxygen canisters resulting in his knife creating a spark when it made contact with the metal of the canister which ignited the oxygen cloud in a large fiery explosion that filled the room.

As the smoke from the explosion began to dissipate coughing could be heard from the campers who had luckily avoided the fiery explosion due to taking cover "Alright sound off whose not dead?" Naruto asks coughing slightly.

"I'm good" Sammy states with a few coughs as she brushes the soot of her clothes.

"Same here" Brooklynn and Darius say through a few coughs of their own.

"All good…minus you singing off some of my ponytail" Yaz says with a twitching eyebrow as she patted the end of her ponytail which was noticaly singed and smelled of burned hair.

"Ah dang blasted fire bug bit me right on my situpon. One of you are going to half to suck out the poison, now don't everybody jump up all at once" Kenji says in a old timey western accent as he brushes himself off.

This gets a series of groans from the others as Naruto just sighs "Dammit Kenji there is a time for jokes…great movie reference choice though" he says as the teens decision at cracking a joke at that moment was not appreciated though he had to respect the choosing of a classic movie line for his joke.

The campers then heard a crackling rumbling sound causing their eyes to widen as Toro suddenly burst up from underneath some concrete debris with a roar causing them to yelp at the jump scare. The dinosaur let out a raspy pain-filled groan as its full body was shown to the campers showing off how the entire body of the Carnotaurus was heavily burned. Toro shakily stood on its feet before snarling and whining as it looked at the campers who instead of hiding stood their ground and grabbed some wooden debris to use as weapons if need be.

Naruto took a step forward and narrowed his eyes at the heavily wounded dinosaur letting out a growl as he leveled the beast with a withering glare as if he was just daring it to try and attack. For a few moments the two just stared each other down before Toro's eyes widened and the dinosaur began to lumber and limp her way out of the tunnels leaving the campers be given her heavily wounded state.

The campers let out a cheer as they watched Toro retreat in defeat "Woohoo I thought we were totally goners!" Kenji cheers with a wide grin.

"I have to say it doesn't get better than beating Toro!" Darius cheered with a wide smile the fact that they had actually managed to drive off the Carnotaurus was amazing to him.

"Wanna bet?" Yaz says, causing the others to look at her and see the smirk on her face as she thumbed towards the sealed gate which had a hole blown in it from the explosion that was just big enough for them to crawl through. The hole itself was shining sunlight into the area causing the majority campers eyes to widen in joy while Naruto's didn't because he had a bad feeling at seeing the sunlight.

The campers quickly scurried through the hole and back out into the jungle as they ran towards the South Docks with Naruto once again supporting Yaz as she limped along with her arm over his shoulders having lost the shock prod. As the group reached the treeline of the jungle they finally saw the South Docks and their joy turned to horror as it was completely deserted.

"They're gone…" Darius remarks in a hollow tone as he looks out at the empty docks covered in trash from the evacuation.

"I had a feeling that would be the case given how it was daytime again" Naruto says with a sigh and shake of his head as he figured given the fact that it was likely morning there was no way they made it to the docks before time ran out.

"They'll be back for us won't they?" Sammy asks in an uncertain tone.

"Given how Dave and Roxie likely made it out I am sure there will be a rescue mission. However until then we've got each other isn't that right Dino-nerd" Naruto says before gaining a slight grin near the end as he looks at Darius.

"Heck yeah what ya say "Mr. VIP"?" the teen asks turning to look at Kenji.

"Sounds good" Kenji says with a shrug and a grin.

"Hey don't forget about "Superstar"" Brooklynn says wrapping her around around Darius's neck and delivering a light jab to Kenji's side.

"Ugh total barf" Yaz says with grin as he rests her arm on Naruto's shoulder and leans her head on said arm.

The campers then give a final look at the empty dock and the rising sun before they head back towards the jungle. Across the island the dinosaurs roamed freely just going about their business while Blue happens to run through a herd of herbivores as she explores the island.

Out in the middle of the ocean Dave and Roxie stand on the deck of the last ferry having been forced onto it after they were knocked out for refusing to board it. Roxie argues with the same park worker that she argued with on the dock during the evacuation. However Dave steps in and pulls Roxie back when he sees the park worker activate the shock prod he was holding again.

As the campers head deeper into the jungle they have a determined look on their faces as they know things were going to be even more dangerous and challenging now, but they would tough it out in order to survive.

Author Note: Hello everyone and first things first HOLY HELL what a chapter this was to write. Gotta say think I bit off more than I could chew when I decided to combine Episodes 7 and 8 of Season 1 into a single chapter to round out the events of Season 1.

This chapter is LOOOONG lol just over 40 Pages and nearly 21,000 words before this Author note…yeah my fingers hurt a bit lol. Heck I cranked out just about all of Episode 8 over the course of the last 2-3 days I think?...Not going to lie, the last few days have been a bit of a blur.

Anyway Pyro and I really hope you enjoy this chapter and the wrap up to Season 1 of the show and please be sure to leave a review so we know what you think.

Have to say though, we are really looking forward to Season 2 and beyond as it's much more free when it comes to how we can tackle things and how we can expand/show more so to speak. Not giving any spoilers but expect to see some new adventures for the campers, developments, and maybe some juicy stuff down the line.
