The sun set over the kingdom of Enchancia, casting a beautiful glow over the castle as Sofia prepared for her Royal Gala. Excitement filled the air as Amber hung sparkling fabrics around the ball room. The special artifact that they would soon be displaying had not yet arrived.
Sofia, dressed in a glittering deep violet gown, began to beam with joy as Prince Hugo entered the ballroom with her new gift and a bouquet of flowers. "For you, Sofia. You look stunning, as beautiful as the night sky."
Sofia giggled as she responded, "That's what I was going for." Hugo had now given her the Star Crystal. It was a large gem that glowed like a star and had landed in his kingdom a few days ago, almost like a shooting star landing on Earth. "I hope everyone loves it!" Sofia said, smiling brightly.
Amber rolled her eyes playfully. "Save the romance for later, you two! We've got a gala to run!" A ball themed after the night sky and stars? This was just up her alley!
As Sofia held the Star Crystal, she noticed her amulet slowly getting warmer and glowing slightly. She quickly embraced her amulet with her other hand in an attempt to hide it. "Everything okay, Sofia?" Hugo questioned.
"Yep! Couldn't be better," Sofia answered with a lie and a nervous sweat. She then handed the Star Crystal to Baileywick so he could hang it in the middle of the ballroom for display. The amulet began to cool off back to its original state. Sofia sighed, unsure of what had just happened.
The rest of her closest friends were now arriving. Prince Desmond, of course, went straight to helping Amber set up decorations. Sofia couldn't think of a more beautiful sight. A star themed gala with all of her friends helping set up before the rest of the guests showed up. Little did any of them know, danger would soon be lurking just outside the castle gates.
