Chapter 4: Taken

Ash walked into the theater holding a letter "Guys it's a letter from Johnny and Nooshy" she said as everyone crowded around to hear what was going on Rosita took the letter from her and slowly read.

"Hey guys, Johnny here, just so you know we're doing fine but a recent experience has us both needing to take a trip for a little bit, and we won't be able to contact you during this time but just know that we're fine, so don't worry too much, and we'll contact you when we can."

Rosita, already a little bit concerned, was trying to figure out what they meant by a trip and soon she realized what they meant. "Guys, do you think it's possible that they're in danger." Rosita questioned.

"Yeah, but they said not to worry about it, I'm sure it's fine." Ash said.

At the safehouse

"Now to this point though, how did you know that we would be coming here so you could order the cake" Nooshy asked.

"When we went to the hospital, I figured something like this might happen, so I wanted to be prepared" Johnny answered.

"Thanks" Nooshy responded grabbing a slice.

Johnny shot up to the sound of glass breaking, he sprinted towards Nooshy's room, and when he opened it shock filled his body. Nooshy was gone.

"Nooshy?" he called out silently praying that she had heard it too and had stepped out before him to see what it was. But only silence filled the room

Nooshy slowly awoke to a dark room and a splitting headache "Boss said he needs her alive or we both die" one of the mobsters said, a wolf with dark grey fur and a scar across his right eye.

"Well, I don't want to be on the receiving end of a gunshot because you took a deal, I told you was a bad idea."

"What if that kid starts coming after us?"

"Well, we've got guns, so I think we'll be fine"

"What exactly am I doing here and who is trying to kill you" Nooshy said while trying to clear her vision because her headache was still messing with her.

"Oh, look our prize is awake, someone's paying a lot of money to have you delivered alive"

"And I suppose the best way to go about that is to try to kill me then" Nooshy said "plus who wants me enough to hire some people to kidnap me"

"I don't know why you think you'll get any information out of us when you're the one tied up but it's nice to see you try"

The wolf then proceeded to get right in her face and say one thing "Caleb Quarles"

Nooshy's eyes shot wide open. "Did you say Caleb Quarles"

"Recognize the name" the wolf asked

"How much did he pay"

"30,000"

"Seriously, you guys charged 30,000, you greatly overestimate you skill"

"And how is that"

Suddenly Nooshy was able to break free from the rope holding her and sprinted towards her tazer that was left on a table and as soon as she grabbed it she spun around and jammed it into the fox who fell to the ground looking like he had been crippled Nooshy took off running as fast and as far as she could eventually braking through the door and realizing this looked like her childhood best friend's house but she didn't have time to think about where she was because she saw the wolf barreling towards her she sprinted out the door locking it as she left. She then started sprinting as far away from the house while turning on her location so Johnny might be able to find her as possible although she thought she recognized the area. And then it hit her "I used to live here" once she realized that she started sprinting towards the safe house because she knew exactly where she was now and as she ran she texted Johnny that they had been found and he needed to pack everything and get out and to meet at the car.

Johnny sprinted around grabbing everything he could before throwing it all in the truck and taking off as fast as he could then he saw Nooshy being chased by a wolf "Nooshy get in now" Johnny said as Nooshy jumped into the passenger seat and they took off already being chased. So, Johnny did what he was taught, and he drove like his dad taught him. That thought took Johnny away for a minute thinking about how he didn't know where his dad was. He didn't come back to reality until Nooshy started screaming next to him because they had drifted to the other side of the road. "RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD JOHNNY"

"Well glad to see you're doing ok" Johnny said pulling back to the right side

"He's found us"

"What do you mean"

"The guys who kidnapped me right before I got out one got in my face after I demanded to know who hired him and he said one name"

"who"

"Caleb Quarles"

"I thought he was dead"

"Me too but apparently, he either survived or someone is trying to avenge him, either way we can't stay here so where can we stay now. Also, how did they find us"

Suddenly they saw a text from Johnny's phone

"It's from your dad."
