Benefits of the Rough:
Elanye once more did another check in on her brother's request for Charlie with Corbin tagging along. She left him with her basket after discovering Constantine's unhealthy eating habits. Where she decided to leave him in Constantine's daily library. He chose one of the large chairs and an ottoman to sit with his aunt's owl and Cornelius. Pulling out a sealed mason jar of jerked meat packed by Zon. Gained him one more furry companion in the form of a curious Maverick.
"Hi." He twisted off the jar's lid.
Three eyes blinked at him Maverick took a seat on the ottoman with his wings resting on his sides. Corbin broke apart the first strip he pulled out before re- sealing the jar. Feeding the Hoo Hoo and his snake before reaching toward Maverick. Who happily accepted the treat after chewing and swallowing before crawling into his lap.
"Friendly little guy aren't you." Corbin welcomed him.
Maverick happily settled on him, allowing Corbin to hand feed him and the rest of the animals around him. Until he traded the jar for a book he had marked since last night. One of Elanye's spell books about use of gemstones in multiple fields of magic. He didn't get far in the chapter covering different stones' effects on someone. When sounds of footsteps heading his way had him putting the book down. He knew the sound of his aunt's flats while the other one was completely new to him. Answer soon came to him when into the library after Constantine and Elanye walked.
He looked at how the prince carried himself to his straighten posture with arms held behind his back and cross. Tail barely swayed as he kept in step with Elanye right beside him. Her posture perfectly straight, hands doing their usual gesturing as they ranged on. Way they were caught up in their newest topic of conversation was hard to understand. Either it was a magic related topic or the newest Political problem. Octavia and him agreed with Charlie on things about the two of them.
"Your master is an odd ball." Corbin looked down at Maverick.
He got three eyes staring back at him when he put his book away and started to get up. Getting up to his feet quickly while taking one of his aunt's homemade meals with him. Hoo Hoo hopped onto his shoulder with Maverick following him when he walked. Making his way to the pair carrying his aunt's basket over to her. Unable to finish what he was eating when Constantine took the strange looking food item from him.
"Called a cereal bar," Elanye pointed out, "Baked with yogurt from fanged cow milk and organic chocolate toasted Os."
"My breakfast." Corbin had handed one to him.
"I made a few as a healthy alternative," She looked at Corbin, "Since two of you have terrible eating habits."
Constantine took an experimental bite or two and had his tastes buds greeted by a feral bowel, without the bowel. Creamy sweetness with chocolate blend was a change for him.

Fated day of attending LuLu land meant everyone who showed up at the entrance gate. First to show up was Corbin, Octavia, and Elanye without Hephzibah or Wasp. A romper inspired by a mycena subcyanocephala from 2- layer shorts to ribbon tie back. Her black beanie hat with a pale yellow tiara replaced by jeweled barrettes. Had Corbin noticing her not in her usual attire she wore during lessons. Not like she noticed he wore his usual attire with one minor change. He traded his waistcoat, tie and shirt for an embroidered, asymmetrical button up shirt with a hood. Hair nearty gathered into a jeweled clasp and rested on his left shoulder to display his pierced ear. Steel chain with sword bead and Bloodmarch crest.
"New look?" Both asked the other.
They both laughed since lessons halted after the holiday season had rolled in. Neither one has seen the other since Corbin's demonstration. Octavia reached to his braced hand and pulled for a better look. Made him step forward as she slowly looked his braced hand over. Rolling back the sleeve by undoing the buttons of his shirt's sleeve. She also pushed back to look at the braced hand in a new light.
"Everything ok?" Elanye asked them.
"Nothing." They both answered.
She pulled his sleeve back into place as Corbin asked her what the manner was as he fixed his cuff. When Mirabelle came running, She latched onto Corbin's pants leg and wedged herself. In between Octavia and him while looking up with a big smile. Rest of her family was right behind her playing catch up. Pool of shadow gathered under theIr feet and shot upward. Forming Goleon in a more modern attire with casual attire. Who had taken Mirabelle into his arms when he took his physical form.
"He's cute just like you said," Octavia looked Goleon over, "Hi, call me Octavia."
"Honored," He nodded his head, "Just Goleon."
"Just one of the reasons I like him," Corbin thought after today, "Let's hope you two get along."
Mirabelle was all smiles when she looked at Corbin and followed embroidery pattern. Orchids and Lilies in a braided chain pattern throughout. Got called pretty by her and asked if she could learn embroidery.
"That would be up to your mothers." Elanye waved toward the rest of the Morningstars.
"Excuse me?" Goleon bowed to Octavia.
"Good luck." Corbin knew how overprotective Vaggie and Lucifer were of Mirabelle.
He walked away with Mirabelle in his arms as Corbin explained to Octavia. Until he recovered the full function of his hand after his treatment. He was banned from the more serious side of his babysitting duty by a list. Top three came in the form of Mirabelle's mothers and her grandfather.
"That must suck." Octavia didn't like the idea.
"Hasn't stopped him from following through with his other duties," Elrod stepped forward, "From what I gather."
"Be nice." Octavia reminded her twin.
"A hello wouldn't hurt," Corbin stepped aside for his friend's twin, "Glad you could make it."
"I had an opening in my social schedule and thought I saw what the fuss was about." Elrod tried to act disinterested.
"This to gauge the range of my mending injury or the fact you're reliving a childhood memory?" Corbin asked.
Left the three to be caught up in their own conversation with Elanye turning away. Adjusting her grip on her wicker handbag with a snap flap. Making her way toward Constantine and Serenity with mild interest.
"I was looking forward to the dessert of the day." Serenity mentioned Elanye's lack of dessert themed footwear.
"Lately I am trying to keep things simple," Elanye addressed the issue, "Unless …"
Constantine did care in his own way since she wore dessert themed heels when they first met. He came to share when they were in a more private setting without ears to eavesdrop. Set aside he noticed light blue and creamy white colors of her attire. Her top was a corset style blouse that had a front chest lapel and strap design to add unique style. The cuffs are embellished with exquisite buttons, highlighting classic details. A middle back zipper design makes it easy to put on and take off, improving practicality. went with a slitted pencil skirt and open toed flats with a round edge. Hair done up in a braided bun that ended in a ponytail in the back of her head. Gloves she wore were a creamy white coloring with brass buttons on the back strap.
"Are you comfortable?" She asked about the heeled shoes he wore.
"Yes they're inconvenient, but I am trying to not be noticed while I'm with my family and friend." He went on to explain.
"I wouldn't call it settle." Serenity pointed at his outfit.
Elanye was amused with a crimson and black waistcoat outfit with small gold accessories throughout. Red lens, stenopeic glasses and red diamond brooch in shape of an apple on his cravat. Had her agreeing with Serenity when she stepped next to her.
"I liked when your hair was longer." She wasn't much a fan of his short hair.
"Simply altered," He offered a hand to her, "May we?"
"Gladly." She accepted.
Beyond the front Gate Serenity was greeted by Roh with a tad more color to his eyes then, when she last saw him. Split pupils of grayish amber that pulled her away from the group. She tried to get a better look at his eyes when she separated from the group, Elanye and Constantine noticing.
"Misfortune?" Roh's voice halted her steps, "Something wrong?"
"Your eyes," She pointed out, "They weren't like that before."
"Means I recently ate a streak of bad luck," He found her now avoiding his eyes, "You looking lovely."
She gave him a mumbled answer before moving to the side for someone to buy a tag bracelet from him. They could decide from a horse shoe, duckie, apple made from recycled metal. Simple coins were exchanged for one the three before they skipped away.
"How do you feed?" Serenity's mind was intrigued.
"When it's spent or in the presence of unfortunate events or series of accidents." He put it simply.
"Found something interesting?" Constantine asks, interrupting them.
Before Serenity could answer him about her growing interest in Roh and his abilities with luck. Roh spoke up instead with an apology for taking up his friend's time. Introducing himself as the person she met at the hotel from that one time.

Before everyone split apart for the many rides, food vendors and games one could do. They had to decide where they were going to meet for lunch and group rides. Rollercoaster was one of the few they could go on as Serenity objected to boats and dark places. That left out the haunted house and any tunnel based rides. Hell horse carousel was one first of group rides they visited. Everyone spread out through the platform to pick a mount before rotating started. Vaggie, Charlie, Lucifer with Mirabelle found a pale white horse pair. Corbin, Octavia, Goleon, and Elrod settled for a bench in between a pair of dark unicorns. Elanye shared a black stallion with Constantine after they mounted one after the other. Serenity settled on a black hare just when the rotating started for them.
She swore she saw Roh near a food stall getting potato skins coated in authentic fang cow cheese. When music started to play and carousel's pace picked up for them. She long since lost sight of him among the crowd of demons watching them. When she was asked by shouting Elanye what other rides she wanted to try. Constantine already gave his suggestion on where he wanted to visit her. Came in the form of his childhood memory of when he last visited here centuries ago. When his sister and him were youths in care of his father for a day of fun.
"How I came into possession of Maverick." Constantine further shared.
"I insist you tell me and then show me," She grew excited, " I used a spell that allowed Hoo Hoo to find me while my brother just came by Muun."
"My father out of the blue one day ended up taking my sister and I," His tail coiled around her, "We spent all day on attractions and placing the games just having fun. We left with plushies for Charlie and a demonic fox kit for myself."
Elanye cooed as she tried to not imagine a young Constantine holding a kit version of Maverick. Came with sudden change in the way he held the reins of the carousel horse. Since his other arm came to wrap around her waist to keep her in place. Left her to be pushed back against his torso to the point she felt his hammering heartbeat.
"Being with you or around you has shown me,," He shared a recent discovery of her, "You're more than rumors."
"I always liked the one that said I resolve manners of the heart and contracts." She playfully joked.
He found himself smiling at her comment with her blues meaning his reds as their hands met on reins. He angled his head down enough for their foreheads to rest against each other. Quiet moments happen while intense exchange takes place through their mental connection. Sight of Constantine being gentle with someone left Lucifer and Charlie in awe. Didn't last long since their carousel ride came to an end with those passing minutes. Everyone came off their mounts and headed for the nearest exit.
"I want to show Miss. Bloodmarch, where I won Maverick among other attractions we visited as children." Constantine announced.
"We have a few rides to try out and we'll meet later?" Charlie asked.
"Rollcoaster or games?" Goleon asked his fellow teens.
Two of three votes came for rollercoaster when Corbin spoke about sciences behind one. Had Elrod been informed by his sister of the principles of energy, motion, and acceleration. How he tried to talk the four of them to trying out the games. Got overturned by Mirabelle showing interest in these principles. Left everyone with somewhere to go unlike Serenity. She didn't agree to go on rollercoaster or come with Constantine and Elanye. Which didn't really bother anyone after she bowed out with mumbled excuse. Making her away from everyone to food vendor she saw Roh purchasing potatoes skins.
Got her pointed toward more back alley of the theme park where noise and lights didn't really reach. Finding a few unconscious bodies with sights of fatigue and mild bruising throughout. One with broken collar bone and blood soaked knife laying near by had her hurrying pass. Feeling wrong with took over as she made her further into narrow passages ways. Until she came upon Roh healing a stab wound without a single drop of blood in sight. Bubbling effect of his flesh kneading back together without much of a scar being left.
"Nice trick." Serenity spoke of him not bleeding.
"Keeping tabs on me now?" He asked slowly facing her.
"Just curious is all." She looks behind her.
"Foiled a kidnapping attempt ," He stated, "Got stabbed defending myself."
Trying to not to peek at a muscled side from a torn tunic revealed to her for a few seconds. Before the sliced threads wove themselves back together as Roh fell to the ground with labored breath. To his side Serenity came ready to check if he was suffered from blood poisoning. What she found was his eye color growing brighter nails forming on blank finger tips.
