Chapter 3

It's now late and King is in bed. And Luz ended up staying the night at Willow's house. Eda left the house and summoned her staff. And put her glyphs in her pocket. She go on her staff and flew toward the conformatorium. When she arrived at the conformatorium she got off of her staff. She got out a invisibility glyph. Eda put it on her chest and held her breath. Once inside the conformatorium she let out her breath. Thanks to gathering intel at the night market. Eda has found out that Lilith is being held in maximum security. Once down in maximum security Eda took a peek down the hall. There aren't any guards and only one cell door closed.

Eda rushed down the cell and looked into it. She can see Lilith laying on the floor. There is dried blood on the floor and on Lilith. She can see that Lilith is still breathing. But her breaths in and out are shallow and raged. Eda pulled the lever and the door opened. She went into the cell and up to her sister. Just then a disgusting smell hit Eda. Eda knows this smell anywhere it's the smell of infection. She held her nose and went up to Lilith, The witch took a look at some of Lilith's wounds. She gasped when she saw that the wounds are infected. And it doesn't look like the wounds have been taken care of.

"Oh my Titan they want Lilly to suffer and die." grimaced Eda

Eda removed her hand from her nose. Even though she doesn't like the smell. She needs both hands to pick up Lilith. Eda picked her sister who moaned slightly. The witch quickly and quietly. Made her way up and out of the conformatorium. Once outside Eda summoned her staff. She got onto her staff, held Lilith tight, and used a invisibility glyph. Once she was far enough away Eda let out her breath. She pointed her staff toward Bonesborough. Eda is heading to a healer that she knows. That has a clinic in the Bonesborough suburbs. Without magic Eda fears that she. Won't be able to completely help Lilith.

As she flew Eda looked down at Lilith. Lilith is paler than usual and is a mess. Twenty minutes later Eda arrived at a clinic. Luckily it looks like the lights are still on. She got off of her staff and went inside. Once inside she yelled "Isis are you here!?" A woman with dark blue hair and purple eyes came out. Her eyes went wide when she saw Eda with someone in her arms.

"Isis please help it's my sister. I just got her out of the conformatorium. And she is in bad shape." begged Eda

Isis nodded and said "Follow me." The woman lead Eda to a secret part of her clinic. She went into a room and said "Lay her on the bed." Eda laid Lilith on the bed. Isis can smell the infection coming off of Lilith.

"First we should reopen and clean out the wounds." suggested Isis

Isis gathered what they would need. Then she and Eda got to work. Once they were done Isis grabbed a potion bottle. That has purple liquid in it. She opened Lilith's mouth and poured it into her mouth. Isis put down the bottle then went to Lilith's right arm. Eda gasped when she heard cracking and Lilith letting out a weak scream.

"Isis what are you doing?" asked Eda

"I have to re brake a bone in her right arm and her left leg. Because they aren't healing properly. If I don't bother her arm and her leg will be useless." replied Isis

Eda nodded and prepared herself for when Isis re broke Lilith's left leg. Again she heard a crack and Lilith scream. Isis put Lilith's arm and leg in casts. Then Eda helped Isis get Lilith out of her bloody clothed. Then they put her in a clinic gown and laid her down.

"Will she be ok Isis?" asked Eda

"I can't say yes and I can't say no. Her wounds are infected and the infection has. Made its way into her blood stream making her sick. And I have to make sure the bones that I. Re broke heal properly it will be up to her if she makes it. Now go ahead and go home. I'll keep in touch." replied Isis

Eda nodded and left the room. She made her way through the clinic and went outside. The witch summoned her staff, got on it, and went home. Once at home she got off her staff. She went inside and went up the stairs to her room. Eda got ready and went to her nest. She laid down and got comfortable. The witch looked up the ceiling and hopes that Lilith will make it. Eda closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. Three days later at the conformatorium a guard has been ordered to see if Lilith is dead yet. He went down to maximum security and went to Lilith's cell. But the door is open and Lilith is gone. The guard ran back up to the main level. Then he ran to Warden Wrath's office.

Once in Wrath's office he said "Warden Wrath I went to Lilith's cell. Like I was ordered to and she isn't there."

"That's impossible the last we knew she was barely alive!" barked Warden Wrath

"Well I went to her cell and the door is open and she is gone." informed the guard

"Be gone I better report this." ordered Wrath

Wrath got his crystal ball and said "I need to talk to Kikimora." The crystal ball flickered and Wrath saw Kikimora.

"Warden Wrath what is now?" asked Kikimora

"I had a guard go down to Lilith's cell. To see if she is dead yet." replied Wrath

"And is she dead yet?" asked Kikimora

"Well we don't know. A guard came and told me. That her cell door was open and she is gone. And the last we knew she was in her cell barley alive." informed Wrath

How is possible that a witch that is barely alive just disappear?" asked Kikimora

"I don't know we were told not to bother to have a guard down there. So I didn't have guards down there." replied Wrath

"Have any idea who might have taken her?" asked Kikimora

"No not really she did make a lot of enemies when she betrayed the Emperor's Coven. And the owl lady was very angry with her. So maybe someone broke in and took her to finish her off. I'm not sure." replied Wrath

"I'll report this to Emperor Belos." stated Kikimora

Kikimora turned off her crystal ball and left her office. She made her way through the castle and up to the throne room. Kikimora went into the throne room and up to Belos. She bowed and said "Emperor Belos I need to report something to you." Belos nodded and stated "go ahead Kikimora."

"Warden Wrath told me that a guard went to go see if Lilith Clawthorne is dead yet. And found her cell door open and her gone. The last her knew she was barely alive. Warden Wrath thinks that someone. Broke in took Lilith to finish her off." informed Kikimora

Emperor Belos though for a moment. Then he said "It's a possibility that someone. Could have broken in and taken Lilith to finish her off. But to be on the safe side. I'll write up a legal document. And I want the coven scouts to search. The owl lady's home and to search the healers and clinics in Bonesborough." Kikimora bowed and stated "I'll gather the coven scouts." An hour later Kikimora had gathered the coven scouts. Belos gave then the document and their orders. The scouts nodded and left the castle.
