Chapter 1

(December x784)

"This has been a long time coming." A pink haired teen who was about seventeen years old said sadly as he and others gazed at a strange seal that was on the ground with a sad and ashamed expression.

"I can only hope that if we ever find a way to free him that he can forgive us for everything that we did to him. He didn't deserve what we all did to him." A young woman with white hair who was nineteen years old had tears in her eyes.

"We treated him so horribly for something so stupid and it took us so long to realize that he'd never hurt us and that he would always be in the Biju's chakra." A young man who had black hair, but had no shirt and was seventeen years old.

"Part of it was also jealousy that most of us felt towards him." A redhead with brown eyes said with shame visible on her face.

"It's now only taken us this long to come see him too. It doesn't feel right being here when no one stood up for him whenever someone would talk bad about him." A woman with brown hair and brown eyes said with a frown, remembering the past.

"Even I was against him despite being so smart and knew runes as well as I do, I should've known better that the kind of seal that Naruto had was too good to mess up or should've just trusted still didn't help him." A young woman who had blue hair, hazel eyes said with they started to moisten..

"Aye sir." A blue cat agreed with everyone in sadness.

These people that were talking were none other than Natsu Dragneel, Mirajane Strauss, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet, Cana Alberona, Levy McGarden, and Happy.

"It wasn't fair to him. He never did anything to warrant such treatment and we even promised we'd be nothing like that village, but we did exactly as what they had done to him. I miss his smile and laugh." Mira said, sobbing as her hand went to her mouth as she couldn't hold back anymore as her best friend comforted her who was also shedding her own tears along with everyone else.

We'll get you back buddy and then make up for our mistakes and make things right with you." Natsu said as everyone else nodded in agreement. Levy was studying the seal that kept their friend away, but she couldn't make heads or tails of it since it was something extremely complex, making her frustrated that her friend had done such an incredible job on the seal. Too good if you asked her.

"We should get going, Master is already waiting for us along with everyone else before they start wondering where we are. It would be rude to keep them waiting." Erza said with tears in her eyes, but they couldn't stay for long.

"We'll come back after the trials and visit you. We'll tell you all about it when we get back." Gray said with a grin as he left with Mira staying behind wanting to say one last thing as she brought her hand to her chest over her heart.

"I'm so sorry Naruto-kun. You were just like me and yet, I let my jealousy of you lead to doing such horrible things to you. I don't know if you could hear me, but know that we are all so sorry for everything. We'll come back to visit, I promise. I love you and when we free you, I'll do everything to show you how sorry I am." Mira left after that, as no one saw the seal glow for a brief moment as if responding to their words before the glow disappeared.

A Month Later

Three people could be seen staring at the seal, wondering if this is what they were looking for. A month ago, a leader of a group along with several others had felt a surge of a strange power surface, but it didn't feel quite there, almost as if it was being held back or restrained. He had sent three people out to search for the source and figure out what it was.

"What do you think?" One of them asked who had blonde hair and brown eyes as she and who she was with inspected the seal which was something they hadn't seen before. It looked more archaic from any rune they had seen before, but it was really complex. She's a beautiful and buxom young woman with a slender figure. Her blonde hair was short and was quite messy, giving it a somewhat spiky appearance, and while it was mostly swept back with some bangs hanging down her forehead, curving away from the face on either side.

"Well, this appears to be what we're looking for, but whatever is here appears to be sealed away. The energy I'm sensing is definitely coming from right here." The second person said with a curious and intrigued tone. She had red scarlet hair and brown eyes. She was a tall, voluptuous woman with large amounts of her scarlet hair thickly braided and located in the front and back of her body as pairs, all of which had bows near its ends. The frontal braids also had two ornaments near the upper sections. The woman also had two U-shaped earrings on her ears, while donning a light-colored lipstick.

"We could always just break the seal with our combined power." The last person said in a lazy manner. She had green hair with purple crosses sticking out of it and had green eyes. She also wears silver cross-shaped earrings. Her standard style of dress shows off the front of her body. She wears something akin to that of a gold colored bikini showing her huge bust and a golden fancy coat with purple-indented flower patterns across its design, along with purple fur around the collar.

"But wouldn't that risk destroying whatever is inside this? August wouldn't be too happy about that if we destroyed something that could be useful to Alvarez." The blonde woman said, not liking the idea.

"Well, that's the only thing I can think of that could open this thing." The woman with green hair argued with a shrug of her shoulders.

The redhead looked at the seal as if analyzing it when she had a smile appear on her face with an idea coming to mind.

"If it's as important as we think it is, maybe it requires a person's blood to activate it. Haven't you guys noticed all the dry blood in the area? If you look at the seal closely, I can make out one word on it which says "blood" on it." She smiled at the two who looked at her.

"I did notice that, but if that's the case, it won't do us any good if any of this blood is who or whatever is in there. The blood wouldn't be useful in this regard." The blonde woman said with a frown.

"I might have something that could work with this though." The redhead woman said as the others wondered what she was going to do as she approached where the most blood was at and a small magic circle appeared in under the dry blood slowly, but surely started looking more and more fresh until enough could be picked up for use.

She smiled at her success and brought her finger forward to scoop up the now fresh sample of blood before walking back to the others and crouched before smearing the blood on the seal, making it glow which shook the area, making them brace themselves before smoke filled the area, making the women cough. Their eyes widened in shock when the smoke disappeared at what they saw. It was a man who had blonde hair, but had blood on it from what they could see, but what had their attention was the missing left arm and the hole that was in his stomach as if someone blasted through it.

The redhead who broke the seal snapped out of it first and quickly picked him up and threw him over her shoulder as the other two ran to her as they disappeared without leaving a trace of their presence.

The Alvarez Empire was truly a sight to behold. A city that Zeref, The Black Wizard himself had created and with it the Spriggan 12 who are some of the strongest magic users in the world that could annihilate continents alone with their strength. Then suddenly the three appeared in the castle getting everyone's attention and were shocked when they saw the blonde teen in the redheads arms. She didn't waste any time and took him to a doctor. The blonde and greenette could barely make out steam coming from the injured blonde wondering what was happening. When they managed to catch up to her, they saw his stomach was healing by itself rather quickly as the hole was closing on itself along with the arm, but at a much slower pace.

"Doctor, we need to get this man treated immediately." The redhead told the doctor who took a look at the man and nodded.

"Put him here." The doctor said as she did as told and laid him down gently on a bed, not wanting to make his wounds worse. She then saw the hole was nearly closed which confused her and astounded her since it was huge when she first released him, but now it was vastly smaller.

"What's this steam?" The greenette asked with genuine curiosity.

"I don't know, but now this guy's got my attention. I'm surprised he's still alive considering all the blood that we saw when he was unsealed." The blonde said, just as surprised as her fellow Spriggans.

"I'll need you three to go for the time being while I work on this young man. I'll let you know when I'm done." The doctor said, getting nods from them as they left the doctor to work who went back to his patient. "Whoever did this to you son, I'll make sure you'll live to see tomorrow if I can make it happen." He promised as he started his work.

Meanwhile the three women had left and knew that they would need to report this to their leader, August. The leader of the Spriggan 12. They found him, who was apparently on his way to meet them.

He was a tall, elderly man with long, white hair. He had a short mustache, and a lengthy, thin beard, reaching down to his upper torso. He wore a long, billowing, light-colored robe with tattered edges on its bottom portion and intricately designed linings on the sleeves. He kept the robe tied together with a belt made of a seemingly rope-like material. It had a dark-colored cape, which juts out in spikes near his head and had the symbol of the Alvarez Empire emblazoned on its back. The cape was kept in its place by a long cloth tied around it and held fast by a spherical shaped clip. He completes the outfit with black boots and a wooden staff with a large orb at its tip.

"Did you find anything Irene?" August asked, but saw the blood stain on her body and gave her a look that told her to explain.

She gave him a smile. "Yes we did. It was a person that had managed to seal themselves away to keep them from bleeding out. When we managed to free him from it, he was covered in blood, had a hole in stomach, and had his left arm cut off with what seemed like a sword, from the way the wound looked. We brought him here as quickly as possible, but we didn't expect him to have a regeneration of sorts as the hole in his stomach was closing itself and healing at a rapid pace. He's certainly an interesting character and right now he's with a doctor getting treatment." Irene finished her report as August went over what he had just learned.

"Is that his magic, regeneration or something else? Could he be of use to his Majesty?" He asked them.

"He could be, he had very large magic reserves and we can learn more about him when he wakes up. The fact he was quick enough to seal himself away to stop himself from bleeding out despite missing an arm speaks volumes of his ability with runes and seals. That could be the tip of what he's capable of." The blonde woman said.

"And what do you think, Brandish?" August asked the now named Brandish who looked at him boredly.

"I'm not sure. I don't have anything to say about him right now aside from what they already told you." Brandish said as he nodded, having expected that kind of an answer from her.

"Good work then. For now, I want you three to watch over him, see if you can learn anything about him as he recovers. When he wakes up, come get me. You can leave now." August dismissed them who nodded and went their separate ways for now.

A Week Later

It had been a week since Naruto was brought in and the doctors had to work fast in the surgery since his body was healing itself faster than they had expected. What they had determined was a lot of his internal organs had been nearly destroyed from some large blast, but had been able to save them and had to give a blood transfusion since he had lost a lot of blood. Regarding the lost arm, they managed to have an arm prepared once he woke up.

Due to August's orders, Irene, Brandish, and Dimaria had did as told and monitored him throughout the week by taking shifts and noticed a lot about him aside from his healing factor. Like they told August, he had a lot of magic power in him. When they managed to get a good look at him without the blood, he had blonde hair, tanned skinned, and three whisker marks on each cheek. They had wondered how he had survived as long as he did since it would've been minutes before he would've been able to seal himself and even after getting him back to Alvarez.

Brandish had idly thought he was cute now that she could get a good look at him. She found the whisker marks to be adorable, but she'd keep her caution around him. Dimaria would admit that he was able to survive the kinds of wounds he had gotten. Not many people could react to the situation that quickly to keep themselves alive. He was a tough and quick thinking bastard if anything. Irene however was curious about his magic power as it was, despite him being on death's door and weakened this much, it was still large. She could also feel two different types of magic while the first one being easier to sense while the other had a more subdued feeling to it, but she could sense some demonic power. Strange? She'd have to ask him about it when he was awake.

Naruto slowly opened as he groggily groaned in mild discomfort as he looked to where it was coming from and it was where his arm used to be. It was the arm that had the Six Paths Yang power, but now he wouldn't be able to use it anymore. He looked around and nothing was familiar to him, but he could tell that he wasn't dying anymore and looked healed, but that didn't mean he was safe.

"Where am I?" Naruto asked himself.

"Naruto-kun, you're alright. Thank goodness. We've been worried about you ever since you sealed yourself." The familiar voice of the Two Tailed Demon Cat, Nibi or whose real name, Matatabi.

"Matatabi? Where am I?" Naruto asked in confusion.

"We don't know where we're at. Those three that freed you brought you here." Isobu informed him.

"Those assholes knew you would be able to heal yourself with the Sun mark and regrow your arm back, but since it's gone you won't be able too use it anymore." Son said with gritted teeth.

"Glad to hear you guys are alright too, what's the last thing you remember?" Naruto asked them.

"Those "friends" and "girlfriend" that you called, stabbed you in the back and left you to die as you slowly bled out with a hole in your stomach after they cut your arm off. It was a miracle that you managed to create a seal that quick with the little amount of time you had." The familiar grumbling of Kurama who was growling in both anger and was also impressed with Naruto's quick thinking in Fuinjutsu.

"We'll worry about "them" later, we need to figure out where we are and what to do for now." Naruto said as the Biju nodded as they saw that his body was healed. "Let's get out of here." Naruto said as he cut the connection.

The door opened, getting his attention as he didn't know who this was, but the Biju were aware that this was the guy that had treated him.

"Ahh you're awake, that's good. I'm quite surprised you're already up though. I was expecting you to be up for at least another week at least." The doctor told him who nodded.

"I've always been a fast healer compared to others, so I'm not as surprised. Where am I exactly?" Naruto asked.

"You're currently in the Alvarez Empire in one of our hospitals in the capital. You were brought in by three of the Spriggan 12 who actually freed you." The doctor said as Naruto gave him an appreciative nod as he heard the name, having heard of it and was aware he was no longer in Ishgar.

"And who are they that brought me in?" Naruto asked curiously, wanting to know who helped him.

"Brandish u, Dimaria Yesta, and Irene Belserion. They should be back shortly. Do you want them to know you're awake?" The doctor asked Naruto who nodded.

"If you could get them please. I'd like to give them my gratitude for what they've done for me." Naruto him him already aware of who they were since the Biju were the ones to inform him of them and what they looked like,

"I'll let them know. We'll have some food brought in shortly, so you get some more rest until then." He said as he left, leaving Naruto alone in the room.

It was a few minutes later the door opened and Naruto saw three incredibly beautiful women walk in. Of course he knew that they were the ones that were freed but seeing them in person did not do them justice. What the Biju had failed to mention how much the redhead looked a lot like Erza. He tensed when his eyes landed on her, something that she noticed as her eyebrow rose in curiosity.

"I'm surprised that you're awake. When the doctor told us that you were awake I was surprised, but considering how fast you were healing, I shouldn't be." Irene said in mild surprise.

"Like I told the doctor, I've always been a faster healer than most people." Naruto said with his guard still up.

"It's quite impressive, but now that you're healed, we'd like for you to put on these clothes that we got for you and then we can go meet with August. He did want to know when you woke up after all." Dimaria said with Naruto nodding as he grabbed the pile of clothes and went into the bathroom to get changed. When he was done and came out, he was now wearing an elaborate black coat with gold inner lining and cuffs intricately decorated by blue-colored motifs, and many studs lined up the chest, the high collar and the sleeves, which have armbands seemingly made of metal around them above Naruto's elbows. Below it, Naruto had on a dark blue shirt, and he also sports a pair of black leather pants held up by a belt, with more similar belts circling diagonally the upper parts of his legs, and simple brown shoes.

"August? Well, alright, I'll meet with him, but then I'll be out of the way. I have a certain guild I need to destroy." Naruto said darkly, unknown to him, made the three shiver at his words and tone as they left the room and hospital as they walked towards their destination.

"I have a question for you. When you first saw me, your body tensed up and yet it's the first we've ever met. Do you know me by any chance?" Irene asked, curiously when he shook his head.

"It's not because of you, but you remind me of someone who I used to call a friend. You looked like an older version of her and I don't know how long I was sealed for, so I assumed you were her." Naruto said, surprising not only Irene, but Dimaria, and Brandish.

"What was this friend's name?" Brandish asked with a curious brow.

"...Erza. Erza Scarlet." Naruto basically growled out in complete anger.

Irene stumbled in her step as she looked at him with slightly wide eyes as Dimaria and Brandish looked at their fellow Spriggan in surprise.

"What did you say?" Irene asked now, more curious than ever.

"Erza Scarlet." Naruto said again this time in the form of a question as he saw that she seemed to recognize the name.

"I see. So, she's still alive." Irene muttered as she gave a smile that looked like something that his friend Anko did when she promised pain to someone.

"Can I get the names of who saved me? I'm sorry for not asking before." Naruto asked, not wanting to be rude.

"I'm Brandish u." Brandish said to him.

"I'm Dimaria Yesta and you look pretty strong. Wanna spar sometime?" Dimaria asked, when she sensed how much power he had and wanted to see what he could do.

"Maybe, it depends on what happens later on after I meet with this August guy." Naruto said with a smirk that she saw and gave one of her own.

"Irene. Irene Belserion. I'd like to speak with you more about that name later on after you speak with August." Irene said as they found where August was.

"August, we have our newest guest." Dimaria said, getting the old man's attention who looked at Naruto with a nod, not saying anything.

"I take it you're the one in charge? I'm Naruto Uzumaki and I want to thank you and everyone here for taking care of me while I recovered." Naruto bowed his head.

"August and I have some questions for you. We can talk somewhere more private. Let's go." August said as Naruto shrugged his shoulders and followed after him, as Irene, Brandish, and Dimaria went about their own business.

"Well I'm certainly curious about our new guest." Irene smiled as she thought about her future conversation with Naruto, especially about Erza.

"I can't wait to fight him. I want to know what he's capable of." Dimaria grinned at the thought of fighting her fellow blonde.

"He seemed alright I suppose, but I'm going to meet with my team. I'll see you guys later." Brandish said, leaving the two as Dimaria and irene followed her example and go do their own things.

With Naruto and August

The two walked around the capital as Naruto looked around in awe of the city. It was amazing and he could for some reason feel at peace with the area.

"So what is it you wanted to speak with me about?" Naruto asked, getting the conversation started as he was wondering what the older man wanted with him.

"I'm quite curious of your power, you see we are the Spriggan, the elite guards of his Majesty. Whom you surely know by the name of Zeref the Black Wizard." August said, gaging his reaction which he merely widened his eyes slightly.

"Really? I've heard all sorts of legends and rumors about the man. I also heard that he was dead too. How's he still alive all this time?" Naruto asked, having dealt with immortals himself, so to hear of someone else being possibly immortal isn't too surprising to him.

"You don't seem too surprised to hear that he's lived this long. He is indeed immortal if that's what you're thinking, but it wasn't his majesty's choice in the matter as he was cursed by Ankhseram to live forever and kills anything he loves." August said to the blonde who frowned at his words.

"I've dealt with immortals before and they were pains in the asses to deal with. I could give you a few stories on them, but none of them were from being cursed by something, but through other means." Naruto said, surprising August who was now even more curious since he hadn't heard of anyone else being immortal ever.

"I see. Do you think you could tell me about them another time? I've never heard of anyone being immortal aside from his majesty." August said, not surprising Naruto since he knew that was the case.

"And you wouldn't since it was in my home dimension where it happened." Naruto said, getting a confused look from the man.

"Dimension? What are you talking about?" August asked intrigued and curious.

"That'll take some time to explain, but where I come from, What humans possess in magic's place is a form of energy called chakra. Chakra is basically the combined form of physical and mental energy. It allows humans to perform superhuman feats like walking on water, manipulating the elements, and casting illusions, just like magic does in this world. Except unlike here, where only 1 in 10 humans can use magic, every human from my world has a chakra network, which is an additional circulatory system through which chakra flows. Anyone could be trained to access and wield it. Instead of mages, ninjas/ shinobi and samurai were the primary forces in the world. I was one of the best among the village as a anbu commander shinobi." Naruto explained getting the old man even more intrigued.

"And how did you end up in Earthland?" August asked.

"I was studying space-time in my studies in Fuinjutsu or sealing to understand better, which is the art of sealing when I put a small amount of Chakra in it and a portal appeared in front of me. I had planned on leaving the village I lived in to travel the world, but with this I could leave and not have to worry about anyone bothering me, despite the world being in an era of peace. I packed up everything in my family's compound in sealing scrolls before I opened another portal and walked through it. What I didn't count on was my body deaging to that of six years old and I've been here ever since." Naruto finished as August took in everything that he was told.

"I'd like to see this chakra for myself and what you can do with it, but what are your plans now that you're healed?" August asked the shinobi.

"I'm normally not one to showcase my abilities like others, so that is something I'm not sure about and as for what my plans are now, I'm going to get back to Ishgar, go back to the guild and deal with them, then after that, I don't know." Naruto said.

"Why not join the Alvarez Empire and become one of the Spriggan 12?" August offered unexpectedly as he hadn't expected something like that.

"I wasn't expecting that, but I need to ask, why? You haven't seen what I'm capable of." Naruto said as he was still shocked.

"And you would've been right about it, but I sense the most amount of magic or chakra in your case that I've ever sensed. It would be a waste not to have you as an ally." August said, getting an impressed look from him.

"That would be me and another source of chakra I'm capable of using. Watch." Naruto said as the area was filled with what only August could feel was demonic power. He watched as Naruto's aura changed from blue to dark purple as his features were changing. His eyes changed from blue to red with black slits as his whisker marks thickened to essentially being visible to anyone and his hair became spikier along with his fangs becoming easier to see. "This is, but a small portion of their Chakra I'm capable of using. What this is, is something that I have sealed to me called Tailed Beasts that are sentient/conscious beings that are made out of energy called Chakra." He said to the King of magic who had wide eyes at what he was feeling and just heard.

The pressure that was there disappeared instantly along with Naruto's features returning to normal. August could tell that he would benefit the Spriggan 12 with his power and he couldn't deny that he was very curious about him now.

"That was interesting to say the least." August said as his face was impressed with the pressure.

"Thanks, but I'm not sure about it. Can I think about it tonight and I'll give you an answer tomorrow?" Naruto asked, wanting to think about it before he made his decision.

"Yes, but you have to give me your answer by tomorrow and if you do accept, I'm going to want to test you in your capabilities.." August told him who nodded, making sense to him.

Nighttime

Naruto had been shown where he was staying and he was now in his room after a long day that he had. He now could think about everything that had happened recently. He had been unsealed from his prison/safe haven by three beautiful women who were part of the Alvarez Empire and among the Spriggan 12. He was taken to Alvarez where he was healed, spoke with the Magic King who was the leader of the Spriggan 12 who was now offering him a position among the Spriggan. He had been thinking about it ever since than and it wasn't a bad idea to say the least. He could get even stronger with them since from the amount of magic power he could sense from the people he'd met so far, they far exceeded anyone he'd come across in Earthland and even most of the shinobi and samurai in the Elemental Nations. But the question was, could he put his trust in others again and not get betrayed like he had twice now? That was his biggest concern was being betrayed by his comrades and even treated like a demon again. It was the last thing he wanted to go through again. He didn't know what he'd do if it happened again. The Tailed Beasts gave their own thoughts and advice on the matter, but no matter what he picked, they'd always side with him in his choices.

He was so deep into his thoughts that he never heard open his door, but it was only the sound of heels clacking that cut him from his thoughts when he saw Irene walk in with a smile on her face and it was one of curiosity and one that made him a little uncomfortable.

"Hello again, Naruto-san, how's your stay so far in Alvarrez been?" Irene asked, her smile never leaving her beautiful face as she stepped into the room.

"It's been good. Everyone's been hospitable and made me feel welcomed. I'm tired though from today's events." Naruto told her, nodding in understanding as he brought a chair over for her who smiled at the gesture and took a seat.

"What did August want to speak with you about?" She asked.

"He wanted to know about me simply since you could sense a few things about me." he said, making her nod again.

"I'd like to learn more about you myself if that's okay with you?" She asked.

"'I'm not sure about telling you anything about me since I'm not sure I can trust you yet.."His voice suddenly became more demonic as he spoke his next words. "I don't trust you or anyone else. August was the exception since he was the one who was allowing me to stay here for the night and offered me a place to live." He said with Kurama's chakra active as his features changed like before as he flared his power as the room quaked for a moment just as quickly as it appeared that he changed back to normal. Irene's eyes widened a little bit having not expected this, but she quickly had her carefree smile back on her face.

"I see. To threaten someone like me without so much as a sliver of fear is curious, don't you think? Very well, I won't pry for now, but I do hope that you do trust me at some point. I assume that August is aware of this?" She asked him with a hum.

"Only what he needed to know, so don't expect me to open up so soon if you think I will be trusting, you have another thing coming Irene-san" Naruto said with a neutral look.

"That's fine. I do want to ask about Erza though. How do you know her?" She changed the subject to someone that's been on her mind all day.

"Fine, what do you want to know about her exactly?" He asked with venom in his voice.

"How do you know her?" She asked.

"We were in the same guild ever since we were kids and she's a bitch since she's the reason I lost my arm along with the others that caused the hole in my stomach." He growled as his eyes briefly turned into slits.

"I see and were you close?" She asked.

"Very close actually. We were like siblings in fact before she betrayed me. That damn guild is filled with nothing, but backstabbers, hypocrites, and liars." He told her with such hate.

"Guild? What guild is this that you mention?" She asked.

"Fairy Tail. If I ever see them again, I'm going to destroy them and crush them into nothing." He said, which sounded more like a promise to the redhead.

"I see, I'd heard about them before and to hear that they're so different from the stories and rumors is intriguing." She said, making him scoff.

"Yeah, well they're not all that cracked up to be, so does this satisfy your curiosity?" He asked, raising his brow at her.

"Indeed it does, thank you." She nodded with a smile on her face as she got up and made her way towards the door. As she made it to the door, she turned around one more time and bid him goodnight, leaving the blonde to himself for the night. He took a quick shower with a new set of clean clothes before going to bed and to sleep and make his decision the next day.

The Next Day

August along with Irene who had come across Naruto after he had eaten breakfast who was now wanting to give him his answer after thinking about what he could gain from this and talking to the Tailed Beasts about it.

"What's your decision young man?" August asked.

"...after thinking and talking to Tailed Beasts about it, we've decided to accept your offer in joining the Alvarez Empire, but before I join the Spriggan 12, I assume you want to test me by facing someone?" Naruto asked.

"Good. I was hoping you'd say that and of course and not only me, but all of the Spriggan 12 that are here and nearby will want to see if you're worthy of becoming an Elite guard of his Majesty." August informed the Jinchuriki who nodded.

"Alright and who will I be fighting?" Naruto asked with a smirk that neither had seen before when they had spoken with him.

"Dimaria or Ajeel would be good match-ups for you. I know she was wanting to test you herself since she's been wanting to know what you can do." August said in a sigh as Irene covered her mouth with her wrist, but she still giggled.

"Either one will be fine. Just be at the arena in two hours." August said, before turning towards Irene. "Could you show him the arena when it's time since I'll need to let Dimaria or Ajeel know about this?" He asked the second strongest Spriggan who nodded with a smile on her face.

"I believe I can do that. I've enjoyed his company so far and would further like to get to know our newest Spriggan more. He's caught my attention and have many things I'd like to ask him about." Irene said as August nodded and dismissed them, leaving to go speak with one of the two while Irene smiled at Naruto and nodded to her.

"Shall we Naruto-san? I'd like to hear about your time with Fairy Tail and why you seemed to hate them so much and what your old dimension was like?" She asked, getting him to look at her with narrowed eyes as she saw this and could understand his caution.

"Now, there's no need to act so suspicious of me. August merely informed me of your circumstances and how you arrived here which I must say is quite impressive. Space-time is a tricky and complicated subject, but I also want to know about the Tailed Beasts." She said, getting him to sigh at her persistence.

"Why do you want to know about them?" Naruto asked, suspicion in his voice as not many people would want to the best for them and would rather use them for their own means.

"Because I'm curious about what people thought of them." She asked with a coy smile, that made him chuckle.

"I'm sorry to say, but I don't like to talk about them much for reasons and to people I don't know or trust for that matter. If you want me to talk, prove to me that I can trust you." Naruto said, completely serious, surprising Irene that someone could feel so protective over something that's not human.

If what August told her was true and he had Tailed Beast's inside him then that would make similar to her. Fairy Tail must've learned what he was and contained which made either not trust him to use their powers or think he was the Tailed Beasts themselves. Now she was really interested in him.

Two Hours Later

August and the other Spriggans can be seen in one of the balconies as they looked as Naruto appeared so suddenly in the arena while his opponent was there and had an excited grin on his is a dark-skinned, relatively muscular young man of average height with large, thick, brown hair that juts out wildly in every direction. He bears the symbol of the Alvarez Empire below his right shoulder He was wearing a thin light gold cloth tied around his neck and upper torso, leaving his bare chest and abdomen exposed, in lieu of a traditional shirt, as well as large, baggy, brown-colored trousers with an upper portion that is lighter in color. He accents this outfit with two large brown spherical earrings in both ears, intricately designed gold bracelets on each wrist, and gold bands on each of his biceps, and completes it with gold lock-in sandals and a golden scarf bearing an eye on the region covering his forehead.

"So this is the guy that August told me I'd be fighting? He looks interesting, but I'm not sure about him." He said to Naruto who narrowed his eyes as he did a small stretch in his clothes that he had changed into for this battle. He was now wearing a black body suit that had gray armor on over his chest shoulders were bare, his wrist, and arms. He had black anbu pants on with combat boots. He finished his looked with a black shoulderless sleeve haori with white flames on the bottom.

"We'll see about that ... .whoever you are." Naruto said with a smirk as he looked at his opponent.

"You don't know who I am? I'm Ajeel, otherwise known as the Desert King." Ajeel smirked at Naruto who nodded at him in acknowledgement.

"We're here to test him to see what he can do. I'm sure you've all heard about the boy who managed to survive a hole in his stomach and had lost an arm, yet he still was able to save himself by sealing himself away. I've been offered a position in the Spriggan, but this is where we'll be able to see what he can do before he joins the Alvarez Empire." August said, surprising those that hadn't heard.

"Really? A possible new member?" A slender man who has a rather effeminate appearance, including long eyelashes and long, purple hair pulled into a ponytail said in surprise since they hadn't heard about any new members joining.

"I'm not as surprised since he has a large amount of magic power and I have a feeling that it's not even close to his full power." Irene added her own thoughts, staring at Naruto with interest wondering what he could do even if he was missing an arm.

"We'll see, but him being missing an arm will make things more difficult for him." Brandish pointed out with them all nodding, but wondered what Naruto was capable of.

"Well if you want to join the elite guards, then let's see what you can do, new guy!" Ajeel shouted at Naruto who stared blankly at him, not bothered by his taunt.

Naruto decided to make the first move and vanished from his spot and was in front of Ajeel instantly and delivered a high kick that connected, but to his shock, his body went through him as sand bits came off him. Ajeeel smirked at his surprised expression and grabbed him by the ankle and threw him away. He sent out 10 sand creatures that he created.

Naruto reached to his back and brought out his mother's sword, Benihime, getting a chuckle from his opponent.

"Your sword will be useless against my sand. It tells me everything." Ajeel said with a smirk, but frowned when his expression remained neutral which he found odd.

"That would be true in most cases, however I'm different." Naruto said as he channeled chakra to his sword. Those that were watching could see his sword was being covered in a layer of water, surprising them.

Naruto did a wide arc with his blade as he cut down two of them instantly. He blocked a tiger's paw that attempted to claw at him, but was quickly cut down. He did a back flip as one of the sand contracts crashed into his previous spot. Naruto used Shunshin with one hand seal and quickly took down the tiger with his sword.

"Come on, is that all you've got? This isn't very nice with how you've been doing." Ajeel mocked with a crazed smirk on his face. He made a motion with his hands as all the sand constructs converged upon him, completely surrounding him. He sheathed his blade into his back as they got closer. Once they got close enough, sand shut up around Naruto as a wall, blocking the creatures. Naruto waved his hand and the sand changed it's shape to spears and pierced the creatures dissolving them, much to the surprise of everyone.

"What was that? I didn't sense any magic being used?" Ajeel asked with slightly wide eyes, but was quickly changed to excitement. "Nice, you are more interesting than I thought." He said.

Ajeel suddenly disappeared from his spot, making Naruto raise an eyebrow when he felt something on his legs. He looked down and saw his legs were encased in sand and was sinking into it.

"Antlion Pit!" Ajeel shouted as he appeared just outside of the quicksand that was ensnaring him.

"Well this is certainly dangerous and am I feeling my body losing moisture?" Naruto asked himself with a calm expression as he channeled chakra and used his massive wind affinity to push the sand off of him, but it was proving to be difficult, so he decided to up the ante. His eyes suddenly changed from his blue to where they were yellow with toad-like slits to use and was able to get free from the sandpit.

Naruto moved at speeds and threw a haymaker at him who just stood there with no worry on his face and had the same smug smirk on his face. He was unexpected however when he felt his head take the blow that sent him crashing into the wall that created a crater from the impact. Blurring through a series of one handed hand seals, the Jinchūriki appeared in front of the downed duo of friends and called out, "Water Release" Great Water Drill!" He picked up his sword after finishing the last hand seal, Benihime in water chakra, and forms it into the shape of a drill. After drilling the opponent into the ground the water spreads out into a tsunami that drenched the arena. This left Ajeel with nothing to work with since he was covered head to toe in water along with the arena.

"Surrender now, you're soaking wet and can't use your sand now." Naruto held his blade at Ajeel's throat who had been looking in shock until it changed to a smirk until he started laughing like a madman.

"Nice, nice. You're quite interesting. Your power over sand is almost as good as me. I'd like to learn where or who taught it to you." Ajeel said with his deranged smirk.

"No." Naruto said in a neutral tone as his eyes changed back to his normal blue, making the man pout and whine like a child at being denied.

Up in the spectators viewport, the other Spriggans were giving their opinions of his skills, but most felt like they hadn't seen enough to think he was good enough to be one of the Spriggans.

"He has an amazing water magic and it's strong enough to affect even Ajeel's sand and his skill with a sword isn't bad." Irene said as she had been mildly impressed with Naruto's skills so far.

"He was able to quickly come up with a strategy to defeat Ajeel which says how quick thinking he is and has an analytical mind. He'd make an impressive member of the Spriggan." Invel said.

"But we didn't get to see enough to give a real opinion of him." Neihart said with a hmph.

"If that's the case, then does anyone else want to test him themselves?" August asked when Dimaria jumped down to the arena that was still covered in water. Ajeel saw this and looked up at August who gestured to come up and give him evaluation.

"I'll be fighting you now." Dimaria said with a smirk.

"I see. I hope to satisfy you and the others in this fight." Naruto said. "But before that, let's get rid of this water." He said as his eyes changed again except this time they were red, but had three commas circling a dot in the middle of the eye. It then began spinning drawing her and the others attention as if hypnotized by it as they changed to a three star pinwheel.

What happened next was the water headed towards him and started swirling around until it was being as if absorbed into his eyes. This went on for a couple minutes until the water was completely gone, leaving the ground bare. His eyes changed back to normal as he looked to see Dimaria was looking at him with wide eyes and intrigue with the same being for the others.

"What did you just do?" She asked with clear intrigue and interest in her posture and tone.

"Secret." Naruto told her who raised an eyebrow at him with his change in behavior suddenly.

Dimaria didn't waste any time and was on him in a moment's notice with her blade in hand as she did a swipe downward on his head. He brought his blade up and blocked it. She did a few slashes that were all met with him blocking. He broke away from their clash and did his own attack against her to end the assault when he lunged at her, but quickly realized that he was overshooting it when she managed to elbow him in the face. He recoiled from the hit and she threw a punch, but he quickly blocked it with his forearm, but wasn't able to block the kick in time with only one arm. He was sent skidding as he gritted his teeth in frustration at being handicapped now.

"You're not bad, but it's a shame that you're missing an arm or else you'd probably would've been able to block it." Dimaria said with a grin as he nodded at her when an idea hit him and he grinned at her. For some reason she wasn't sure she liked it.

His body was bathed in gold for a moment before it was condensed to his arm. He gave it a squeeze to test it out as he grabbed it with his new new hand and smirked at the gaping blonde in front of him.

"What do you think? Round 2?" Naruto asked as he got into a stance as Dimaria's response was to rush him as she did a quick stab, but he parried the strike aside and threw a punch with the other hand as she hit in the face.

She shook off the blow and had to admit, she had underestimated him with that little combo now that he had two arms again even if it was temporary didn't wait for her to strike and was on her again as he clashed blades with her again as they continued showing off their swordsmanship. Naruto used his superior speed to disarm her and kicked her away.

"I think it's time I bring out a new weapon. It's been awhile since I've used it." Naruto strapped Benihime to his back and rolled up his sleeve where a storage seal was as the Raijin no Ken appeared in his hand Instantly the lightning blade surged to life.

Launching himself forward, the Jinchuriki fighter swings for the woman in front of him, aiming straight for a knockout blow at high speed. This straightforward attack was met with him suddenly hitting empty had to block a roundhouse kick as he skids along the ground a foot or two before stopping, still standing strong with his blade up and him in a crouch.

"What was that?" Naruto asked with a furrowed brow.

The said blonde Spriggan only smirked; "Oh, I'm far from done Uzumaki."

"Good to hear," Naruto with a feral grin.

She had a wide smirk on her face. She knew he was strong and now she wanted to see what else she could do, but sadly she wouldn't be able to continue to have fun with him.

"That's enough Dimaria, Naruto. I think we've seen enough for now." August announced, stopping them an inch from each other's face as they separated, August looked towards Naruto with a small nod. "Impressive skills, Naruto-san and if you can do this well when you're not at full power yet, I wonder just what you can do with all of your power. Welcome to the Spriggan and Alvarez Empire." He said, getting a nod from him as Dimaria smirked, looking forward to sparring with him.

"Will I be able to get a prosthetic for my arm? Using my chakra to create an arm drains my reserves quite a bit." Naruto said.

"We'll make sure to get you one in the near future. We look forward to you working with us toward his majesty's goals." August said, getting a nod from him. Things were certainly getting interesting. He wondered what the future held for him and the Biju now that he had officially left Ishgar and joined another continent.
