Chapter 3
"Very soon. Fairy Tail's story will be coming to an end." Seilah said to her fellow demons and husband who had his mask off as they watched the screen.
You see, when Seilah dropped something in Elfman's bag, she also used her macro on Elfman to instill the bomb in the basement of the guildhall which would cause it to blow up.
"As you can see, Kyoka-sama." Seilah said with a confident smile.
"You did well, Seilah." Kyoka was impressed at what she did.
"She did, I'm hoping that it hurts like hell for them." Naruto crossed his arms over his chest with a smirk as he watched the guild explode.
"Gehehehe, how many lives were lost? How many?" A Demon with an armored, round striped body laughed.
"If Fairy Tail was going to be eradicated anyway, there was really no need for us to move the Cube to this outpost." Kyoka said with a smirk.
"True." Seilah said, turning towards them.
"It was better this way to see it in person, so we know who's left to deal with." Naruto said to the three who nodded at his words.
"Wise words Naruto. Now we can all return our focus to the FACE project." Kyoka walked to the monitors. "The time has come. The white legacy that human suspicions have bred will destroy them in the end." Kyoka said with a determined face. "Face will steal all magic from the humans and the Age of Demons will begin. It is all for the world that Zeref desires." She finished with a glint in her eyes while Naruto looked on in curiosity. This was new.
"This won't affect us since we don't use magic, so even if they succeed in their plan, you won't lose yours or our chakra." Kurama said with a dismissive wave of one of his tails.
Fransmalth was looking at the screen and saw several red dots and made a nose of curiosity.
"Huh?" He asked as he stared at the screen.
"What is it?" Naruto asked the one-eyed demon curiously.
"For some reason, I'm picking up multiple magic signatures…" Fransmalth said in confusion, getting their attention when some soldiers came running in the control room.
"We have a problem! Three confirmed figures heading towards the cube!" One of them said in urgency.
"Three? No. This represents a multitude of magic-users." Fransmalth said, pointing at the screen.
"But we can only see three of them!" The second guard said, confused like everyone else, except for Naruto who merely narrowed his eyes in suspicion.
"What is the meaning of this?" Kyoka asked.
"I'll display Undercube." Seilah said as she pushed some buttons on the board.
The screen displayed three red dots and quickly changed to visual where they could see them and low and behold, it was three cats with wings. Naruto recognized one of them as Happy, but not the other two.
"Cats?" Seilah asked in alert/confusion.
"They're with Fairy Tail!" Fransmalth declared loudly.
"Multiple magical signatures are coming from those small animals?" Kyoka asked as she tried making sense of what was going on along with Seilah and Naruto with the latter looking intently at the cats.
"Kyoka-sama, Naruto-sama, it looks like they're holding something." Seilah told them as they looked at their hands and Naruto's eyes widened before gritting his teeth knowing full well what those were.
"Decks of cards…" Naruto said, getting their attention as they looked back and he was right.
"Why are they holding cards?" Seilah muttered in confusion.
"Those aren't regular cards. They're from someone named Cana who uses "Card Magic" and one of the abilities I've heard is being able to seal a person in cards." Naruto explained, getting nods of understanding while Seilah sent him a small smile very briefly, making him nod at her action.
"This is my fault." Seilah said in sadness while Kyoka and Naruto looked at her with shaking heads.
"No it's not Seilah-chan, Cana must've realized something was amiss and got everyone out of there. She always was smarter than people gave her credit for." Naruto said as he placed a comforting hand on her shoulder.
Kyoka pointed at the two demons that came to them.
"Put up a line of defense. Activate the Undercube gravitational field." Kyoka commanded her subordinates.
"Yes, ma'am." One of them said with a nod.
"First battle station at the front and rear sides of the Cube!" Kyoka said in a commanding tone, getting confirmations from them. "Don't let them get near the top of the Cube!" She told them in earnest as they went go relay the orders. Naruto suddenly turned around and started making his way to one of the exits. The two demonesses saw this and looked at him in confusion.
"Where are you going, Naruto-dono?" Kyoka asked.
"I'm going to defend the Cube and have some fun. It's been awhile for me and this is as good a time as any to let loose a little." Naruto said as he quickly summoned Samehada and smirked at them as they nodded with grins, knowing this was going to be fun to watch.
"Sometimes, I'm jealous that you were able to have a child with that man since he can be sadistic at times." Kyoka admitted with a teasing smirk as Seilah looked away with a small blush on her cheeks.
Happy, Carla, and Lily were flying towards the Cube when they suddenly felt themselves get pulled by something catching them by surprise.
"What is this?" Happy asked in alert.
"We're being drawn in!" Lily said to them as they landed on the it when, having expected to crash on it. "This is… gravity!" He said as soldiers started making their ways towards them.
"Are we upside down?" Happy asked.
"More importantly, here comes the enemy!" Carla pointed at the approaching forces.
The cards started glowing as one of them went up in the air, revealing it to be Cana as she appeared out of it.
"Everyone, decompress from the cards." Cana ordered as the cards scattered and glowed as well, revealing to be the other members that were put into them. "Let's go!"
"Fairy Tail, move out!" They shouted as they moved to engage the enemy.
Cana moved towards Elfman who was still on the ground, having long since came back to his senses and was shedding tears of guilt at what he had done.
"What did… I do?" Elfman asked in horror.
"We're going to rescue Mira and Lisanna, so stand up." Cana said with a determined expression.
Down below in the core chambers, Lamy is working on the one that Mira was in and had an excited look on her face as she was bouncing around in joy.
"Man it sure is noisy out there. First, I'm gonna mess up that pretty face." Lamy laughed at the unconscious woman as her arms, her face, and legs had demon particles that going into her body. "How does it feel to have demon particles invade your bloodstream? You're going to hit every branch on the ugly tree as you race towards rebirth." She said with a crazed glint in her eyes.
Mira's eyes suddenly shot open with Lamy jumping back in surprise as the chamber cracked open before shattering completely, leaving a dumbfounded and confused girl while Mira was smirking as she stepped out.
"Sorry, but I already have demon particles. I use them for Satan Soul." Mira smirked at the scared girl that tried to change her. "They revived me." She said as Lamy scurried away, but Mira wasn't going to let her get away. She giggled at the attempt and walked towards the soon to be unconscious demon.
Back with the majority outside, they were handling the soldiers with their magics, but they never stopped coming towards them. Gray took out several using his Ice-Make magic, Gajeel stopped one with his arm and started eating it before using his roar at the demon and others, Wendy used her magic along with a roar to finish off the group. Lucy kicked one away with Taurus helping her fight them. One got behind her and was about her.
"Regulus Impact." Leo called out as his hand glowed yellow, sending the group flying away from the punch.
"Loke, you got out on your own again?" Lucy asked, having grown used to him summoning himself.
"You can't let your guard down in battle." Loke said in a serious tone. "With that being said… I would love for you to let your guard down around me." His demeanor did a 180 to flirt with her.
"Is this anytime to be flirting?" Lucy asked, exasperatedly as more soldiers were coming towards them.
"My power will always protect you." Leo said in a charming voice with Lucy giving him a deadpanning expression.
They continued to battle as Makarov found himself surrounded, but he wasn't intimidated in the slightest as he used his Titan Magic to increase his size and quickly dealt with them. Droy used his plant magic with Jet using his speed magic to help him out as they dealt with the demons around them.
Levy used her Solid Script as she wrote the word stone out and crushed several of them with Max using his Sand magic to wipe out others. This continued on as others were fighting their own battles against them leaving nothing left in their sights as they had people to go rescue.
"Have we not found a way inside yet?!" Makarov shouted as suddenly the Cube shook when a hole was created with Kyoka being the one to come out of it with Erza following after her, being the reason for the hole. "There's our way in!" He said to everyone as they cheered and approached the hole.
"I wouldn't go in there if I were you." They heard an unfamiliar voice say it was Naruto. He wore black pants and gloves, with a white form-fitting shirt underneath. Over this he wore a purple, high-collared, long sleeve mantle that splits down the lower half and has the Uchiha crest on the back. Around his waist he wears a simple, light-purple obi and a purple with black trimmings and black tomoe. His face was concealed with a white mask with a black tint that covered the entire upper half of his head. The mask's design resembled a swirl going up the middle of it with three rings around it. There were two eye holes in the third ring where his Sharingan was active and was using a different voice instead of his normal and Tobi voice, but it was much deeper this time. (Think Obito's English dub voice when he first changed it after announcing that Itachi was dead)
"Who are you?" Alzack demanded as he and Bisca quickly locked their guns onto him.
"Me, I'm no one important, but I can't let you get inside the Cube." Naruto said as he brought Samehada to his shoulder, getting wide eyes from several of them, recognizing the blade.
"WHERE DID YOU GET THAT SWORD FROM?!" Cana cried/demanded in outrage, surprising a few of them while others were looking on in anger as well.
"Oh this, from a body that was dying. He didn't look so good when I unsealed him, missing an arm and with a hole in his stomach too. Whoever did that to him, must've wanted him to suffer. I merely put him out of his misery." Naruto smirked behind his mask as his words made several people cringe and narrow their eyes at him, something Naruto saw and raised his brow in curiosity.
"What did you do to him?! Gray shouted with rage in his eyes with Juvia looking at him with worry.
"Gray-sama?" Juvia asked quietly.
"I didn't do much, but finish whoever started the job. It was quite easy considering his condition. After that, I found the storage seals on his wrist which is where Samehada was at. I even collected everything that was in his house. He had some very interesting items." Naruto said as he suddenly dodged three cards that came from an enraged Cana who had heard enough.
"I've heard enough from you bastard!" Cana shouted in complete anger.
"You monster!" Levy shouted as she quickly wrote the word lightning as the word shot towards Naruto.
"A monster am I?" Naruto mocked as he disappeared from his spot as they looked around to see where he was when they heard screaming and saw Levy being kicked away as Naruto had his leg lifted up slightly having kicked her in the stomach.
"Levy!" They shouted in worry.
"Am I a monster when the very guild he was from treated him less than dirt. I'm quite surprised, you're all showing some form of care for him since from what I had heard, you all alienated him and thought of him as a demon and monster. You should be happy that he's dead." Naruto said in a mocking tone.
"No, Fairy Tail would never treat one of their own like that, it's impossible!" Luicy denied with fresh tears building in her eyes as she heard the cruel words that were being said.
He shook his head at her naive words and dodged a punch from a pissed off Jet who ran at fast speeds, but to Naruto he may as well have been a snail. Naruto grabbed the back of the collar of his shirt with a vicious smirk on his face pulled him back and brought his knee up and landed it on his back that had a sickening crunch. Jet cried as he fell to the ground in agony as he felt his spine take a huge hit while others had watched the brutal attack made everyone look at him in outrage and worry for the speed magic user.
"Weak and slow." Naruto said with an impassive look. He brought his sword up as he blocked some ice lances that came from Gray. He was about to charge after him, but he was forced to jump back as Leo punched the ground where he was previously standing.
Naruto didn't take a second and channeled chakra into Samehada before slamming it into the ground as he created a large dust cloud. He disappeared into it and the next moment people were heard screaming and could be seen flying out of it with various injuries, but most of them had large cuts from the sword. The dust settled with Naruto heaving it onto his shoulder as he stared at everyone lazily.
A shadow came over him and he looked up to see Makarov towering over him and his large fist came down on him. It slammed into his spot, getting cheers from everyone. I lifted his giant fist and saw there was nothing there.
"Alright, you guys let's go!" Makarov ordered as several made their way inside. They heard screaming. Gray, Cana, and Levy saw the same man and he had kneed him in the chin, but he wasn't done as he sucked in a breath.
"Lightning Release: Pale Lightning!" Naruto fired a thin light blue beam of electricity towards the third master. Not done yet, Naruto inhaled another breath of air and his chest expanded even more.
"Wind Style: Infinite Great Breakthrough!" Naruto exhaled a gust of wind so powerful that it ripped the ground pushed Makarov back.
"Who's next?" Naruto asked no one as he blocked a punch from Gray who was glaring at him.
"How do you have Chakra?" Cana shouted in disbelief and anger.
"Why, I came from my world in search of Naruto to meet with him about something, but I look to find out that he's been sealed away." Naruto said, keeping the deeper voice as Gray continued to push him.
"You're done for." Gray said as he channeled ice into his hand as he started to cover Naruto with ice. His arm was covered and spread throughout his body until it got to his neck.
"Wrong." Naruto said as his body was suddenly coated in what looked like steam as it instantly melted the ice. He had used his Boil Release to counter the ice and slugged him in the jaw.
"Who is this guy?" Max asked as he tried using his sand to restrain him, but he was moving too fast for him.
He used his sand to block a punch, but it just went through it and had no time to block as it connected with his face, instantly breaking his nose. He brought his hands up in a cross over his chest as he blocked a large hand that came from Elfman who was in his Beast Soul form.
He pushed him off of him, but not before Gray could swiped at him and cut a piece of his outfit with his ice sword. He charged again, but he grabbed his wrist and spun him around before throwing him into Elfman as they collided.
"Iron Dragon's Roar!"
"Sky Dragon's Roar!"
He crossed his arms again as he was consumed in an explosion as everyone saw Wendy and Gajeel had used their signature attacks on him.
"Did they get him?" Cana asked with narrowed eyes, not taking them off him.
"I hope so, I want answers from him and how he was able to release the seal." Levy said with gritted teeth.
"So you want answers about Naruto Uzumaki, huh? Why would you care about his well-being? After all, aren't you all glad that he's not here anymore? You did try to kill him, right? You should be happy that he's dead." Naruto mocked in a scolding manner as he clapped his hands and the dust dispersed.
"What are you talking about?" Elfman asked, having recovered when he heard this.
"You mean you don't know? Hehehehe Hahahaha! Well I'll tell you this then, when I found him, he was missing an arm and had a hole in his stomach like I said before. He told me that he was on a mission with Erza Scarlet, Levy McGarden, Gray Fullbuster, Natsu Dragneel, Cana Alberona, and Mirajane Strauss. They're the reason that he had sealed himself in the first place. Cana had paralyzed him with her card magic with Levy helping by using her runes to secure his movements while Mirajane, Natsu, and Gray pierced his stomach creating the whole, and lastly Erza was the one who cut off his arm!" Naruto declared as he spread his arms out in a dramatic manner to emphasize his words.

"Liar! I don't believe you, Mira-nee would never do that to someone, especially a fellow guild member!" Elfman shouted in tears, not wanting to believe it to be true.
"Gray-sama is more honorable and too nice to do something like that!" Juvia was outraged at what she accused her beloved. He'd never do something like that, let alone to a guild member.
"Erza-san cares about everyone in the guild, she's too nice to do that to someone!" Wendy denied with tears in her eyes
"And Natsu would never betray a friend like that, you're lying, it has to be a lie." Lucy shouted. How dare this person make these accusations about her friends and team.
Many others started voicing their own disagreements, mainly the newer members while the older ones cringed from his words. Naruto sighed and shook his head. They were in denial, but he noticed that Cana, Levy, and Gray hadn't said anything, opting to stay quiet which caused him to chuckle which turned into a laugh.
"Hehehehe hahahahaha, oh how naive you all are. Why don't you ask them about it?" Naruto smirked behind his mask when he saw everyone look at the three mentioned, expecting them to deny his claims, but they weren't looking at them, but at the ground.
"Tell me, you didn't. Please tell me that he's lying, Levy-chan, I know you'd never do something like that." Lucy pleaded to her best friend who looked away as Gajeel was looking at her with wide eyes.
"Hehe, think about it, for now though, go save them if you think they deserve it." Naruto said as he waved his arm around his body as it slowly disappeared using his Kamui..
No one said anything or knew what to say, especially the ones closest to the ones that were involved in it.
"We can worry about this later, for now, we need to stop Tartaros from activating Face!" Makarov snapped them out of it, but they knew this conversation was far from over, especially the ones that were involved.
Naruto reappeared in a swirl having felt Seilah magic power increase. He saw that she was fighting Mira while Lisanna was fighting Lamy. He smirked as he decided he was going to join in to cause some more distrust. Oh this was going to be good.
Mira had a bad day going for her so far, first she was attacked by Tartaros, drugged by the former chairman who was apparently working with the dark guild, she was taken prisoner, and they tried making her into an etherious demon like them. She had broken free of the pod she was in as she used the particles that they pumped into her system to wake up and even used the chance to destroy the other ones, making it impossible for them to turn others into demons. She had met up with Lisanna who she was glad to see and right before they could escape, they were met with Seilah who she was now fighting while her sister took on the scientist demon.
Lamy had just pinned Lisanna to the ground and had been taunting her as they watched Seilah start to gain momentum and overpower Mira. It was insane to think that someone could win against her sister like this.
"Hehehe, don't you see, she's done for now that Seilah-sama has changed into her Etherious form. You'll be joining her shortly." Lamy cackled with mad glee.
"I don't think so." Lamy turned to see who it was that was bothering her, but she didn't get a chance as a fist had gone through her chest as they could hear lightning coming from his hand. He had pierced where her heart would be.
He pulled his fist out and Lamy fell to the side allowing Lisanna to jump away from Naruto with caution.
"You killed her!" Lisanna shouted with a wince as she saw the damage done to her.
"Meh, it was the quickest way to finish her. You should be grateful that I helped out. This is getting good." Naruto said as he turned and walked towards the two fighting with Lisanna after a moment ran past him to go help her sister.
"Mira-nee!" Lisanna yelled out as she got to them and swiped at Seilah who blocked it with her enhanced arm that her form provided.
"Lisanna! What are you doing here? What happened to the other one?" Mira asked, not taking her eyes off Seilah who was about to attack again when she saw Naruto walking at a leisure pace with Samehada strapped to his back. Seilah could see he had some dirt on him and his hand was bloody, quickly putting two and two together she wasn't upset about losing Lamy since she wasn't that important. She found her quite annoying whenever she'd try to get close to Naruto and call him a hottie and such.
"Who are you and what is that behind your back?" Mira asked cautiously, especially seeing the large sword on his back.
"Oh, you don't recognize it. Funny, your guild members didn't either until I brought it out for them to see." Naruto said as he gripped the handle and unsheathed and they gasped once they saw the blue scales and the mouth on it.
"HOW DO YOU HAVE THAT SWORD AND WHAT DID YOU DO TO OUR GUILDMATES?!" Mira shouted in anger, how dare this guy wield the sword that belonged to Naruto.
"WHY DO YOU HAVE THAT?!" Lisanna shouted at him as well with wide eyes.
"Oh, like I told your friends, I merely took it from the previous owner after I unsealed him. You know, Mirajane Strauss, you were there after all when he went on that mission. The one where you helped put a hole in his stomach." Naruto said with glee as Mira started shaking whether in anger, sadness, or guilt, he didn't know, but he was enjoying this.
Lisanna snapped her head towards Mira who couldn't look her in the eye. She knew what she had done.
"Mira-nee didn't, couldn't have done that. She loved Naruto-nii!" Lisanna denied with tears at hearing what became of her brother figure. She didn't see the flinch that came from Mira, but Seilah did and scowled at her.
"And people call me a monster. I may be cold to you humans, but to help in the death of one of your own. I wonder how he felt seeing him get betrayed by his friends." Seilah added with a shake of her head.
"I…I" Mira didn't say anything, but continued to shake.
"Mira-nee? What's wrong, you'd never do something like that. They're lying, right, so we need to finish this and find Natsu." Lisanna said to her sister in desperation that as much as she wanted to get answers, they had to deal with them first. Mira nodded, not able to say anything. She was quickly punched in the stomach by Seilah spitting out a glob of blood.
Lisanna ran at Naruto in her cat form with her enhanced speed as he ran towards her too. He met her in the middle with Samehada in hand as he blocked her claw with it. He swung the sword horizontal, but she blocked it with her forearm. She sent a kick to his head and he leaned back to dodge it. She continued sending attacks at him, but he was either dodging or blocking with Samehada. He grabbed her wrist when she tried hitting him with a cross. Twisting it behind her back and kneeing her in the stomach, knocking the air out of her lungs as she collapsed and started coughing as she tried to regain her breath. He sped at her and was behind her in an instant as he quickly chopped behind her neck, knocking her out. He caught her and laid her down gently so as to not hurt her anymore.
"I'm sorry Lisanna, but you'll understand when everything is said and done." Naruto whispered as he started heading towards Seilah and Mira. He glanced back at the youngest Strauss sibling one more time before he ran off.
Back with Seilah and Mira, things had started looking up for the Takeover mage as she was slowly gaining ground. She had managed to make a connection with her to be able to stall her by using her takeover ability. Mira had flashes of her childhood as she remembered when she first discovered her takeover magic.
"Demon Eyes, open!" Seilah roared as another eye opened on the palms of her hands. She flew at Mira to eradicate her. "Begone!" She roared at her down opponent.
"Your Macro can remotely control someone if they've already been under your power, right?" Mira asked with a knowing smile.
Seilah halted herself as she felt a disturbance in herself.
"Is this the weakness I felt before?! She's only taking over my ability?!" She thought to herself in disbelief and slight horror.
"That's why I gave the order-" Mira said.
"It's useless! Only I can give an order to myself!" Seilah cut her off.
"I didn't give you an order. Come to your family's side." Mira said as Elfman in his best soul form appeared above them and dropped down with his fist cocked back as he punched Seilah in the back, making her gasp in pain as she crashed into the ground, knocking her unconscious.
"I'm gonna protect you, sis." Elfman said with confidence as Mira smiled at her brother.
"Seilah!" Naruto shouted as the two Stauss siblings saw Naruto running at them "Step away from her or I'll use Samehada to shred you both in an instant." He threatened as he pointed said blade at them.
"Where's Lisanna?" Mira asked with a glare, but had to grimace as she got to her feet slowly.
"Not harmed, but she is unconscious. Now I'll say again, step away from Seilah." Naruto said with his Mangekyou activated.
"Why are you working with Tartaros? You use magic, don't you?" Mira asked with confusion.
"Nee-chan, he uses Chakra. That's how he was able to get Samehada from Naruto." Elfman told her who gasped at hearing this and turned towards Naruto.
"Chakra, but that doesn't explain why he's working with them." Mira said in a confusion when he started chuckling, much to their confusion.
"I'm not with Tartaros per se, but rather Seilah herself. You see, she's important to me and I to her. After all, why wouldn't her husband want to keep his wife safe?" Naruto asked with a smirk behind his mask as their eyes widened at this.
"Y-you married a demon?" Mira asked a little shaky, much to Naruto's annoyance as he scoffed at her.
"She may be a demon, but she's not as bad as others are or humans for that matter. She's not one to torture someone if she can avoid it and would never turn her back on her comrades. So I'll say it again, step away from my wife." Naruto demanded and smirked when he saw the slight wince come from Mira. He sighed when he saw them not moving but got in their stances, they were always stubborn.
Mira and Elfman were sent flying away from their spots. They gasped as they saw Naruto was standing in between them where Seilah was.
"How?!/So fast!" They mentally screamed to themselves as they didn't even see him move. Naruto had one leg in the air and had one arm extended out.
Naruto picked up Seilah as he held her bridal style and smiled at her, knowing she was alright. She was just unconscious. He jumped back when Elfman smashed where he was standing previously.
"I have no reason to fight you anymore. See ya Elfman." Naruto said as he and Seilah disappeared in a swirl, leaving the two Strauss siblings as Mira caught up to her brother.
"Damn it." Elfman cursed seeing their enemy escape. He turned towards his sister who looked just as frustrated.
"We'll see them again, Elfman, but for now we need to check on Lisanna and meet with everyone else." Mira said to her brother who nodded, but he looked at her seriously.
"Mira, that man said something to us about the last mission Naruto took before he disappeared. What happened in that mission?" Elfman asked while keeping his focus on his sister who was shifting uncomfortably by his stare.
"I…" Mira sighed knowing that she couldn't keep quiet about it anymore. Really only a few people weren't told the truth about what happened because they were the ones who didn't think like the rest of the guild who thought of Naruto as a monster or who was afraid when they had seen or heard about his first and second Biju cloaks.
"You knew how everyone felt about Naruto-kun the last couple years before we disappeared on Tenrou, right?" Mira asked, getting a frown, but nodded seeing this she continued. "This included me, Erza, Natsu, Gray, Cana, and Levy, we all were terrified of his power when he used the Tailed Beast cloaks, we all thought he wouldn't be able to stay in control. However, me and Erza were more jealous of him than anything else as he had started to grow really famous and well known to everyone. So, when he asked for our help on a mission, we took it, but at the end of it we were all exhausted, but Naruto was the worst off having pushed himself, even resorted to using the cloaks and did most of the fighting which left him severely weakened and tired. We all saw this and thought it was our chance to be rid of him. We did the one thing that was unspeakable in not just our guild, but any light guild. We attacked Naruto and he couldn't fight back in his condition. It didn't take long for Levy and Cana to restrain him, leaving him completely open. Me, Natsu, and Gray sent our strongest spells and blasted through his stomach. We knew he would be able to heal himself using the sun mark that was on his palm, so Erza cut his arm off, leaving him with one. In the last moment, he quickly wrote a seal out using his own blood and that's when he sealed himself away." Mira finished while looking away from her brother as she fell to her knees and started crying while Elfman looked at her with wide eyes.
Elfman had a horrified look on his face as he listened to his sister tell him the truth. He had always believed that his sister was one of the few that didn't see Naruto as a monster, but with what he had just been told, he was dead wrong. How could she do something so horrible to a guild member and someone she had even dated for a bit. Did she only date him to get close so he'd let his guard down? Was it all a lie? He wanted to deny what he was just told, but he couldn't, seeing the truth in his eyes as he watched her cry in guilt and remorse. He thought of Naruto as a brother and looked up to him as someone to be like and to hear that he had been betrayed by his own friends including his sister didn't sit well with him. Mira looked at him with tears streaming down her cheeks, well he knew what to do.
Naruto had appeared in their room and laid Seilah down gently as she was still unconscious.
"Rest my moon goddess, I'll check on the others, you get some rest." Naruto kissed her forehead and left their room. He was going to watch how things turned out from here and only intervene if necessary.
Naruto did and watched as everything went one. Erza was fighting the one known as Minerva who had been turned into a demon by Kyoka forcefully, but she seemed to welcome the change, making Naruto scoff. The one known as Mard Geer who was called the King of the Underworld made his appearance and used a massive called Alegria which made the entire inside of the Cube into some gooey substance once it latched on to you, it would consume you until it was covering you and couldn't move or do anything. The entire guild had been caught by it save for the blonde celestial wizard who had used one of her spirits to keep her safe.
It wasn't long before Geer became aware of that and had the rest of the demons looking for her, but she had fought back with what strength she had left. It wasn't long before Jackal, a Demon with a distinct shark-like look named Torafuzar started fighting her spirits when she managed to summon two of them in her weakened state. In the end it wasn't enough and she somehow was able to summon the Celestial Spirit King, much to his surprise and he had to whistle since it was extremely rare to do that. With his arrival he fought Geer and managed to free the guild from Alegria and knowing he could let Lucy and the guild handle things.
He watched as Natsu fought Tempasta while the one known as Gajeel fought Torafuzar, the woman who could turn herself into water fought against a demon that had a monk-like appearance with a skull face named Keyes. Erza finished her fight with Minerva and got her to change her ways which made him scoff since if that was the case than she wouldn't have turned her back on him. Mard Geer fought two other dragon slayers who he learned were named Sting and Rogue who used light and shadow dragon slayer magic. He learned that there was more than one face all over Fiore, 3,000 of them to be precise and this changed things for him since he didn't want to include the continent to get affected.
Silver who looked identical to Gray who he told was his father had informed him of what happened to him after he died to Deliora and how he learned to use Ice Devil Slayer Magic which intrigued Naruto. A magic capable of slaying demons was rare to come across. He watched as Kyoka made another appearance along with Seilah as they continued to activate the rest of the FACES as Seilah was able to use her curse Macro on the dead former Chairman.
It was stopped though when Mira used the last of her magic to knock out Seilah, but the work was done and the timer was now set, leaving Kyoka to defend it against Erza and Minerva. She tried to get what was left of Seilah's curse power, but Seilah disappeared in a swirl where everyone looked around wondering what happened when they saw Naruto with his mask still on.
"What did you do to Seilah?" Kyoka demanded from him with narrowed eyes.
"Oh, I simply stopped you from using her to get more power to protect the timer. I will not allow you to take her power while she's unconscious, so I sent her somewhere away where she will be safe. I think you should be focusing on them though, don't you think?" Naruto asked using his Madara voice who growled, but knew he was right and started fighting them or at least Erza.
"Who are you? I haven't seen you before." Minerva asked with caution as she noticed that Kyoka hadn't shown the same hostility to humans, but annoyance since he took a fellow demon away.
"Just someone who's making sure that Seilah is okay." Naruto said in a nonchalant manner.
"Are you working with Tartaros?" Minerva asked as he shrugged his shoulders. She took a stance since he seemed to be at least cordial with them.
"Like I told the takeover mages earlier, I'm not on their side per se, but rather Seilah's. I couldn't care less what happens to the other demon gates." Naruto said as he went back to watching the fight. Minerva kept her eyes on him for a moment before going to watch it too.
As the fight went on, he sensed a dark, malicious magical power approaching them until he saw just what exactly it was and his heart skipped when he saw Acnologia make an appearance. He had no idea why he was here, but it was worrying that the black dragon was here of all places.
As the dragon came into view, everyone started panicking, thinking that they were going to die. When a bright red beam of light lit the sky, making Naruto curious about what was happening. He was surprised when a large dragon that had red scales appeared out of nowhere. He went to where the light came from and saw Natsu, the celestial wizard, Gajeel, Juvia, and Levy were there. They were all looking at the dragon with wide eyes which he couldn't blame them for, but Natsu however was crying. When he heard him call him "dad", it clicked on who this was.
"So, that's Igneel huh? He's certainly impressive, but something doesn't feel right about him. Do any of you sense it too?" Naruto asked the Biju who looked on as well.
"Yes, he feels incomplete and weakened. It's almost like a piece of him is missing." Gyuki said, getting nods from his siblings.
"If that's the case, he won't last long the longer the fight goes on." Naruto said.
"What do you want to do?" Saiken asked him while curious.
"I could probably fight Acnologia using my Susanoo, but I want to keep my trump cards a secret, so with that being said, do one of you want to take on the Black Dragon?" Naruto asked the Tailed Beasts.
"Each of us would be able to hold our own, but if he took to the sky, most of us would be at a disadvantage." Isobu said as they talked for a few minutes about it to decide who would be the best one to help at least stall if not kill the Black Dragon.
"We decided that I would be the best choice since I could take to the skies like them. You can use Summoning to bring us out." Chomei said.
"I can understand that, but what did you mean by summoning the others?" Naruto asked, not seeing what they were talking about.
"The rest of us will be dealing with the other FACES. We can also sense four other magic signatures that are similar to Igneel." Kurama said, catching Naruto's attention as he was now even more curious.
"Alright, it'll take some time to do that seeing as how much Chakra I'll be bringing out of me." Naruto said as with the Biju agreeing to it. He left the group of mages and found a secluded spot not too far where no one would come across him.
He sat down in a meditative position and closed his eyes as he would need to put all of his focus on it to summon all of them at once.
Kyoka managed to use herself as a living link to start the timer, meaning when FACE activates, she'd die. She was fine with that though since it would mean returning to their master and creator. What everyone noticed as the fight went between her and Erza was at times, she'd force the timer to rapidly go down, making them pale and panic.
"Well this just got more troubling now that the timer's gone down from an hour to merely five minutes." Naruto muttered to himself as he went back to focusing on his task.
"You're close kit, you'll be able to summon us in a minute if you stay focused and not get distracted." Kurama said, getting Naruto back on track as he nodded.
"Right. I can't afford to be distracted right now. Thanks Kurama, keep me updated on what happens to the others. You'll be my eyes." Naruto told the bIju who nodded.
They monitored everything that was happening like Naruto wanted them and they noticed something different about Gray when they sensed his magic power had changed a little and had become more potent. Erza had been have little trouble with Kyoka who had released her full magic power against her. She had managed to pin Erza down after destroying one of her armors and stripped her of her five senses which while they didn't care what happened to the redhead, they were concerned that no one would be able to stop her since Minerva was still injured from her fight earlier. Igneel was still fighting Acnologia and they seemed to be at a standstill for the moment and were impressed with Igneel having lasted this long seeing how he wasn't at his strongest.
Everyone saw the the timer went down again as the timer had hit zero, causing massive panic to everyone except Naruto, but he did narrow his eyes when he saw the countdown was done.
"Alright, Naruto, you have the necessary chakra, now you just need to do the hand seals and we'll do the rest." Chomei said in slight anticipation as he was wondering how he'd fare against the black dragon with Ignee's help.
"Finally, I'll be able to cause destruction and mayhem! It's been so long since I've been able to have any fun. I'm excited for this!" Shukaku said with delight as the others sighed at their brother's never ending need for violence.
Naruto nodded as he took a deep breath to prepare as he started going through the necessary hand seals for the jutsu.
"Boar, dog, bird, monkey, and ram." He muttered as he did the last hand seal before slamming his hands on the ground. "Summoning Jutsu: Tailed Beasts!" He shouted as smoke filled the entire area. Kurama used his tails to remove the smoke revealing all the BIju in their glory as they nodded to each other and disappeared to do their tasks.
Juvia, Gajeel, Levy, Lucy, and an unconscious Laxus were talking amongst themselves, having started recovering from their fights. Laxus had managed to get some of Tempester's blood on his coat that they could use to create a cure for th magical barrier particles. Everyone was wondering how he had recovered so quickly, but he told them that he had no idea how that happened. He had been asleep for so long he wouldn't know. Gray had taken off to help Natsu fight Mard Geer when Igneel told him that he was going to hire him and his guild.
"I wonder how Natsu is doing?" Lucy asked out loud.
"Gray-sama is with him and with his new powers, Juvia has faith in them." Juvia said in confidence, but she was too tired to really show it.
"Salamander is too stubborn to get beaten. What I want to know is what that guy from earlier was talking about." Gajeel said as he looked over at Levy with narrowed eyes while Juvia and Lucy also looked at her in confusion. Levy however was looking at the ground with a frown.
"Can we talk about that when this is all over? I'm sure that the others will want to be there for it too." Levy said, too tired to think about her mistakes.
"..."
"Fine, but for now, we need to get Laxus to Porlyusica." Gajeel said as everyone nodded.
They stopped in their tracks when they heard a strange sound and looked around for the source, but couldn't see where it was coming from. A large purple ball appeared in the sky as it went straight for the dragons or more specifically Acnologia. Igneel saw it coming from the corner of his eye and flew back just in time as it collided with Acnologia. He roared in pain from the sudden attack. The mages looked confused at what was happening.
"That was a gift from me to you Black Dragon." Chomei said, getting everyone's attention when the Biju flew into view, shocking many while others looked at him with wide eyes, recognizing him.
"What the hell is that?!" Lucy shouted as she saw the Seven Tailed Beetle, it was large and just a little smaller than the two dragons.
"Juvia hasn't seen anything like it before. Do you know what that is Gajeel?" Juvia asked with wide eyes.
"No. This is new to me. It appears to be against Acnologia though, but what is it exactly?" Gajeel asked with wide eyes and his mouth slightly open in shock.
"That is known as a Tailed Beast." Levy said, never taking her eyes off him.
"How do you know that? I've never heard of a Tailed Beast before. What is it exactly?" Lucy asked her best friend.
"That's part of the explanation for later, but just know that he's on our side. For now anyway." Levy said with whispering the last part to herself as she looked at the Tailed Beast with sadness and guilt.
"We should get going. I'm sure the others are seeing this too and I'd like to get answers." Gajeel said as he hefted the lightning dragon slayer over his shoulder as they made their way towards everyone else.
And that's the end of the chapter. The Tailed Beasts have made their appearances now. Will Chomei be able to make a difference against Acnologia? Will they be able to kill him or send him away? Keep reading to find out.
