Idea 24.

I'm open to people suggesting things like ships but remember I write Fem!Izuku (Izumi) x other girls and I'm more interested in some pairs than others. Rare pairs are very welcome, you all know me.

Relationships such as potential friends, mentors, or family members (adoption is fine)

Miscellaneous stuff like what school Izumi may attend or if she didn't, whether she's a hero student, criminal, or villain, key parts of her personality, hero and quirk names and story titles, what type of story it is, hell you can all even suggest where OFA goes, etc.

Instead of just putting out ideas, I also did a little writing for each one but that DOESN'T mean this beta writing would be in the story if said idea takes off.

Anyways, feel free to leave suggestions in the reviews and of course which idea they pertain to.

Enjoy, more notes at the end!

Title: Miasma Wave (?)

*Emi POV*

"Woah, woah, even I can't laugh about this!" Emi joked, still forcing herself to chuckle despite her quirk not having the intended effect.

Well, she said not having the intended effect but it was indeed working properly and at the very least she knew now that the vigilante that she'd been chasing the last couple times was a woman. Emi had still never seen her and the last times she had only arrived as the mystery vigilante had just escaped but she was sure that the other woman wasn't a villain. They always left a villain or criminal unconscious without any injuries save an extreme tiredness but it was clear that a quirk was in use because a strange miasma of purple fog was always slowly disappearing from the scenes.

The obscuring clouds themselves weren't the cause of the exhaustion as the captured people had all testified that they were surrounded by it and showed no issues until they felt something abruptly pass through them before they lost consciousness. That being said, the vigilante had more to her quirk because the fog was not something produced through any gadget and the strangeness of the phantom presence the villains experienced was also unique. Even more so, none of them had ever heard or caught sight of the vigilante so prior to what Emi was dealing with there had been no extra information.

The fog thickened and rose higher up the alley walls and the Smile Hero did her best to use the other woman's laughter to keep chase and understand her general area. The vigilante seemed to have given up trying to run and was now likely set on rendering the hero immobile before escaping but it also seemed a little more personal than that considering what the mystery woman had uttered at the start of their encounter.

"What a despicable quirk," the vigilante murmured through the fog and her fits of quirk induced laughter.

It wasn't new to the joking hero and she'd run into plenty of people who had issues with her quirk. Just because they were laughing that didn't mean they were happy and there were a number of individuals that confessed to hating their own laugh which by extension made them hate the Smile Hero's quirk. How it sounded, the pattern behind it, either of those things could contribute to a dislike of one's own laughter and considering that it sounded like a maniacal murderer was hidden in a foggy alley then Emi could tell that this woman didn't like her own laugh. The combination of the purple haze and the range of devious giggles and mad cackles alongside the fact that the woman still wasn't visible really set quite the creepy little atmosphere and even if her brain was working fine, Emi's body told her that she was a little on edge regardless.

The hero continued wading through the thick fog carefully, trying to not get blindsided, but the hidden woman's laughter reached a fever pitch and Emi's sense of distance from her target was now lost. Thanks to her experience though, the hero managed to dodge as what looked like a scythe glided out of nowhere before once again disappearing in the mist. She didn't even have time to try any kind of counter attack as the weapon was launched out again, the blade coming from above and positioned behind the shoulder of her extended right arm before it was yanked back to make the cut. Emi readied herself for the pain but all she got was the blade gleaming a faint purple as it passed through her arm. She immediately realized that she was much more tired than she should be, as if her energy had just been ripped from her, and the main question behind the other woman's quirk was answered. The hero then suddenly found the curved blade at her throat from behind and she gave a little chuckle.

"I know it's gonna pass through but it's still pretty nerve wracking isn't it?" Emi kidded, the knowledge only slightly helping since she still had a scythe positioned to behead her.

Emi's mouth snapped shut and she stopped her quirk as she felt the blade touching her skin and something dribbling down her neck.

"Smart," the woman's calmed voice reassured while Emi kept still and tried to use her words.

"Well now I know you can cut me and I don't think I want you to accidentally twitch from laughter while your blade is at my neck," Emi reasoned, still giving a bit of a playful tone, "Not sure why they call this mist a miasma though, it doesn't even smell!" she joked without her quirk, trying to lighten the mood even though she knew that she wasn't going to get the slightest chortle out of the other woman with that.

Despite the poor situation, Emi was able to notice that a bit of the fog ahead of her was being pulled towards her, or more accurately it was drawn to the blade, and she peeked down to see that the top part that was still in her sight was now barely gleaming like when her arm was passed through. The hero didn't even get time to make a new joke before the vigilante gave a resigned sigh.

"You were amusing enough," she whispered and Emi very subtly tried to turn.

"So..."

The woman pulled the scythe straight back.

The weapon harmlessly went through her neck and Emi laughed to herself habitually as her eyes closed and she fell forward from exhaustion, her energy reaped away, "See, I knew you weren't too bad."

With that, her consciousness slipped away.

Notes and Stuff

Quirk: Vitality Reap

Hero/Vigilante Name: Dormina (?)

I don't think I've done a vigilante Izumi yet so the idea has been on my mind and Ms. Joke just kinda came around as I was writing but I've also never used her in a pairing before either so it works out double well. I have a general direction for Izumi's personality but I'm still debating parts. Also I have to do a lot of jokes with Emi in here so the "It doesn't even smell!" is just a joke in regards to miasma's two meanings.

I'm still doing a little tuning on the quirk as I was wondering if the scythe should be a summoned weapon she has or just a custom weapon but I'm leaning towards a summoned one. Basically she'd be able produce a fog that she coats onto her blade and doing so lets her harmlessly cut through someone and slice away their energy/vitality. The amount of energy she can reap away from someone is based on how much damage the slash would have done within a chosen range. So if she slices someone through the neck then she can choose to cut away anything from no energy or almost all your energy.

I had to take a little break for health reasons, nothing bad, but it was making it kinda hard to write. I should be able to get some updates going now that I've had a small break but I'm still taking it a little easy so we'll see.

Anyways, feel free to leave me suggestions in the reviews!
