Idea 30.
I'm open to people suggesting things like ships but remember I write Fem!Izuku (Izumi) x other girls and I'm more interested in some pairs than others. Rare pairs are very welcome, you all know me.
Relationships such as potential friends, mentors, or family members (adoption is fine)
Miscellaneous stuff like what school Izumi may attend or if she didn't, whether she's a hero student, criminal, or villain, key parts of her personality, hero and quirk names and story titles, what type of story it is, hell you can all even suggest where OFA goes, etc.
Instead of just putting out ideas, I also did a little writing for each one but that DOESN'T mean this beta writing would be in the story if said idea takes off.
Anyways, feel free to leave suggestions in the reviews and of course which idea they pertain to.
Enjoy, more notes at the end!
Title: Daze
*Inko POV*
"DAMN IT!"
Inko had been startled awake by the sudden shout, her mind alert and her heart thumping loudly in her chest.
The mother wanted nothing more than to go check on the source of the sound, her daughter, but she forced herself to wait for a moment and listen for whatever would be the aftermath. The home was silent immediately following the sudden outburst but a few quiet creaks soon came to life and the woman eased herself while checking the time.
12am as always.
It had become a more common occurrence after her daughter had turned 14 but Izumi would sometimes wake up with a start at exactly midnight. Some days it was just the sound of the girl flinging herself from her bed wildly and other days it was like the current time in which the younger greenette would scream as if she had a nightmare. The first time it had happened, Inko had dashed to her daughter's room to find the girl huddled under a blanket in the corner, the room nearly completely tossed, as she mumbled nonsensically to herself. After the third time, Inko had brought the girl to the doctor but they couldn't find anything overtly wrong with her and Izumi adamantly refused to speak on the matter.
Inko knew that her daughter was depressed, she had been for a long time now surely, and all that the mother could attribute to it was that her daughter still didn't know what her quirk was. When Izumi was a child, they had found out that she should indeed have a quirk but it either hadn't activated yet or it was invisible. Because of that, she was essentially seen as quirkless which dashed the girl's dreams of being a hero while still giving her a vague sense of hope. Inko could hear that her daughter had settled down and sighed to herself as she waited.
After a number of these incidents, Izumi had requested that Inko give her some space post sudden wake up so the girl didn't accidentally hurt either of them during her panic. Without having a better idea, the mother agreed to give her time to calm herself before checking on her and she teared up per usual.
She didn't know how to help or if her daughter would be okay.
-break-
*Izumi POV*
Wrong choice. Again.
How was she supposed to know that the explosion would launch a car into the air exactly where she happened to be helping people? Although, it was better than bleeding out after having half of her body crushed by rubble since she instead died instantly. And what where those idiot heroes doing? Prancing around like it was a show when she was flung out of a window and broken like a thrown out doll. That one was awful too since she was alive in the hospital for a few hours. Either way, she had been on this day maybe a dozen times now and no matter how she went about it she had been killed somehow.
Taking a different route meant a different outcome so her advantage of having a general idea of an event was instantly lost but she was also getting sick of dying from slamming her head against the same path and day so many times.
Izumi absolutely hated her quirk.
Notes and Stuff
Quirk: Restart (?)
I was playing Project Diva and I got the idea from the song and video from 'Kagerou Daze'. Basically, anytime Izumi dies she'll restart that day at midnight.
Given how she is, there's no way she'd be able to ignore people who need help and like she mentioned taking a different route means giving up helpful knowledge while also making her feel responsible for anyone who dies since she had a means to prevent it. Of course this means that she's the one who ends up dying a lot as she trial and errors her way through and I'm sure you can guess that being continuously in dying loops doesn't make her feel good. Also, yes she can voluntarily restart by killing herself which she'll consider since at this point she's a bit desensitized to the whole dying thing.
Anyways, feel free to leave me suggestions in the reviews!
