Idea 39.
I'm open to people suggesting things like ships but remember I write Fem!Izuku (Izumi) x other girls and I'm more interested in some pairs than others. Rare pairs are very welcome, you all know me.
Relationships such as potential friends, mentors, or family members (adoption is fine)
Miscellaneous stuff like what school Izumi may attend or if she didn't, whether she's a hero student, criminal, or villain, key parts of her personality, hero and quirk names and story titles, what type of story it is, hell you can all even suggest where OFA goes, etc.
Instead of just putting out ideas, I also did a little writing for each one but that DOESN'T mean this beta writing would be in the story if said idea takes off.
Anyways, feel free to leave suggestions in the reviews and of course which idea they pertain to.
Enjoy, more notes at the end!
Title: Voiceless Town (?)
*?*
There was still a lot she still wanted to do.
Why did she have to die just because some serial killer thought that everyone could be All Might? Didn't it sound so silly when you put it like that? It wasn't fair and that fact only frustrated her until bitter tears welled up in her dulling eyes. There was no energy left in the woman to kick up a fuss, nothing to call for help or to give a final indignant outcry, and all she could do was lie alone in a dark alley that shouldn't have been her grave.
Unexpectedly, the hero somehow caught on to the almost silent tapping of footsteps coming towards her and a shadow came into the edge of her vision. It seemed to be a woman but they remained calm and in a hushed tone they spoke into what must have been a phone and the heroine felt her own mouth twitch just a touch. Perhaps she might have found a sliver of hope had she not understood what was happening.
She was dying.
Having finished her call, the young woman crouched down and, to the heroine's surprise, sat quietly while hugging her knees. There was a moment of silence between them, the other woman just remaining beside her, and she managed to pool together any last life inside of her.
"I don't wanna die," the wounded hero managed to croak out, her voice a pitful cry, but her words only put a resigned yet somber look on the woman's face.
"I know," she calmly acknowledged, turning her eyes to the downed heroine, but the weakening woman's own vision was beginning to fail her.
Maybe she was just seeing things but there were some kind of black and blue wisps, almost like torn cloth, drifting off the woman. The strange energy gave off a cold feeling but something about it also felt comforting. She felt like someone was holding her hand and stroking her hair but the sitting woman hadn't moved.
It was nice.

*Izumi POV*
The hero hadn't made it.
Izumi had known she wouldn't.
As always, the silence eventually broke as repetitive alarms that signaled bad news faded in and lights flashed as voices followed. People moved this way and that and Izumi too was forced to go through the motions. Questions droned on like a dull thud in the background but between all the chatter and the bustle the greenette had still managed to answer why she had been there.
"I just sat with them," Izumi replied, a solemn smile appearing on her lips, "that way they wouldn't be lonely."
The policeman gave her a pitying look though Izumi felt that he had misunderstood her. The greenette kept quiet however, seeing no need to explain or argue that she was truly okay, and the man delivered lines fitting his station as Izumi nodded silently so she could go on her way. She was too fixated on her own thoughts to hear the policeman anymore and once their conversation ended the green haired woman had no more reason to stay.
She had once wanted to be a hero herself. However, she couldn't bring herself to fight if it meant ignoring a quiet or lost voice that she could still reach. The more silent, the more lonely, the more peaceful, that voice was then the stronger that the greenette felt pulled to it and the more she gave a piece of her heart to them as she saw them off.
The young woman walked away and the rattling chains that only she could hear followed behind her. One last glimpse over her shoulder could have been mistaken as her gazing back at the crime scene but all she saw was a towering humanoid figure with a sword at its side and a line of coffins at its back.
Izumi had always been drawn towards death.
While Death always walked by her side.
Notes and Stuff
Quirk: Death
I don't believe we have any official names of the heroes killed by Stain so I had to make do with an unnamed POV here.
I was in the mood for more somber writing so this idea came up and because I usually write while listening to Persona music I decided on the use of Thanatos from Persona 3.
Thanatos in mythology has a few interpretations but one main one is an association with peaceful death which is why I had Izumi drawn to deaths that are also quiet or lonely. That said there are also interpretations in which he's portrayed as merciless, indiscriminate, and hateful so I picked the Persona Thanatos to cover a fuller range and for other reasons.
Per usual, it wouldn't be a crossover and only Thanatos would be making an appearance as this Izumi's quirk as opposed to letting her use multiple personas. In this beta writing, Izumi would be about 22 or 23 and as far as some kind of pairing, if I even did one, I have a pretty specific reason for possibly picking Emi Fukukado. If I do make this into a fic then it would certainly be on the more somber, I don't necessarily want to say angsty even it that will have some presence, side of things.
Anyways, feel free to leave me suggestions in the reviews!
