Idea 47.

I'm open to people suggesting things like ships but remember I write Fem!Izuku (Izumi) x other girls and I'm more interested in some pairs than others. Rare pairs are very welcome, you all know me.

Relationships such as potential friends, mentors, or family members (adoption is fine)

Miscellaneous stuff like what school Izumi may attend or if she didn't, whether she's a hero student, criminal, or villain, key parts of her personality, hero and quirk names and story titles, what type of story it is, hell you can all even suggest where OFA goes, etc.

Instead of just putting out ideas, I also did a little writing for each one but that DOESN'T mean this beta writing would be in the story if said idea takes off.

Anyways, feel free to leave suggestions in the reviews and of course which idea they pertain to.

Title: Reverse/Sendoff (?)

*Reiko POV*

Reiko loved things like ghost stories, haunted grounds, and paranormal mysteries.

So when she'd caught wind of a mysterious spring that was said to call those it wanted or vanish and hide from those it rejected she just had to investigate for herself. On her next day off, the student took the trip out to the rumored area and fervently explored the forest that was said to house the spring. She wandered for nearly an hour before a break in the trees gave way to an untrodden path and a short cliff side. Excited at the prospect of reaching this strange spring, Reiko latched to the rocks and began her slow ascent of the side and upon reaching the top she looked down at the rumored spring. Reiko walked the circumference of the rock walls and studied the isolated water source. It was certainly a peaceful site but nothing particularly fascinating stood out to the girl.

After less than half an hour, Reiko was satisfied, if not slightly disappointed, and made her trek back. However, the gray haired girl became confused as she took the path out only to return right to the scene of the spring. Having thought she was simply lost, Reiko tried again and the same thing happened. Over and over she wound back up at the bottom of the cliff face and in an attempt to look over the trees Reiko noticed what appeared to be a small cave at the spring's lip that she was certain was not there before. Scaling the rocks inversely, the exploring girl carefully peered into the dark and ominous cave entrance and took a step inside.

A stone block stood in the middle of the dim area but Reiko could make out a set of stairs just beyond it and what looked like doorways at her sides, front, and back. With curiosity overwhelming her, the student took light steps to the door that she had been facing when entering and slipped through into the next area. Large rocks were strewn about all along the floor and Reiko could just make out more doors on each of the room's sides and as she trailed her way to the next door she was met with the same sight only slightly altered. She felt as if something invisible was calling to her and the gray haired girl continued her blind wandering.

The rooms blended together, hardly anything changing in them save the formation of the rubble, and Reiko tried to navigate them as best she could but after over a dozen attempts she was starting to lose certainty of any progress. However, as her luck would have it, Reiko did reach a slightly different version of the rooms. The room was devoid of rocks or rubble save a stone pillar standing in the middle of it. Drawing up to it, Reiko traced a hand along the face of the stone and found undecipherable markings on its front. No matter how much she looked at it, the gray haired girl couldn't recognize it as any kind of known language so all she could really do was press onward.

The next rooms returned to the previous state of rubble strewn about but Reiko did quickly run into another pillar room that held a different pattern of markings than the previous one. She was making it somewhere at the very least so that was better than nothing. Reiko trapezed through a few more rooms and came upon another one of the pillar variants, again different than the prior two, and as the gray haired girl went through the next door she was greeted by a whole new type. Each of the entrances to this room lead to a set of stairs that went downwards into the middle where a stone structure stood and a ghastly purple glow emanated from the face of it. Unable to help herself, the student reached a cautious hand to the smooth and glowing surface before gasping as dark purple fog wrapped around her and pulled her in.

When the obscuring mists lifted, Reiko could hardly believe what she was seeing. Stone islands floated about at different angles, defying all gravity or sense, as they loomed within the bleak and dark abyssal world. What looked like trees and seaweed grew sideways or downwards and flickered in and out of existence as great waterfalls dropped in the same manor. The world was quietly devoid of life and Reiko, ever drawn in, marched with them in silence. Nearing a sideways island, the student felt gravity pull at her, wrenching her off her feet and correcting her body's orientation to that of the angled land and snapping her to it.

The gloomy realm was far more than Reiko could have expected but a shiver of fear joined her tingling excitement as she ventured this void like domain. She wandered, and wandered, ever further and only when a great black shadow in the distance trembled did she realize it was not a world only for her. A pair of glowing red eyes broke along the shade and Reiko shuddered beneath their gaze.

She had intruded.

Notes and Stuff

Did you know I love Pokemon and that Giratina and the Distortion World are awesome?

What with Reiko loving looking for spooky stories on the internet, I thought why not have her look for stuff like haunted areas or supernatural places and since the Distortion World and Turnback Cave draw inspirations from Yomi, the Underworld in Japan, I figured why not. It also fit in with me continuing to make Izumi into isolated legendary pokemon, so yeah. I'd imagine Izumi's quirk activated at 4 and she fell/was dragged into the Distortion World and she couldn't get out and then fully transformed over time and remained there.
