Idea 52: Quirk Log 2:
More in realm of idea and quirk logs. Just goes to show how many things have just been sitting in my drafts and whatnot. This one was filled a little more with just my explanations as opposed to much writing itself for the ideas but I'd still appreciate having it looked over and hearing your thoughts.
Quirk Log 2
(Maker)
Quirk: Weapon 'Type' (Typewriter)
This was a strange quirk in which Izumi would summon an energy typewriter and could type in the type of weapon she wanted to summon it. I figured she could add some kinds of adjective to the weapon but it'd take more energy, I didn't want to go too crazy with what she could make. I wasn't sure if she could dismiss them or if they had a summon limit that was set or that she had to specify.
Given the nature of the typewriter, Izumi would have to spell it correctly or completely scrap it if she messed up. It would basically be a waste of energy whenever she messes up and you can imagine how she may be pressed when typing if she's being attacked.
Maybe she'd either be friends or a pair with Momo since they both have creation style quirks?

(Monstrous Love)
Quirk: Colossus (Shadow of the Colossus)
Izumi is basically a Kaiju shifter.
I love the game Shadow of the Colossus and I wanted Kaiju Izumi. Fun Fact, the 13th Colossus, Phalanx, was my laptop wallpaper throughout all of my high school days.
Wasn't too sure on a pair, it would have to be someone who is looking into the mysterious giant monsters appearing so maybe Chitose/Curious, and I wasn't sure if Izumi had a condition that prompted her transformations spontaneously, as opposed to how she can also simply transform. I only picked 4 of the colossus that Izumi would be able to shift into so if you've never seen them then here's their number and name.

Seriously I just love their designs and I really wanted mega huge Kaiju Izumi which number 13, Phalanx, absolutely fulfills.

(Slow Motion)
Continuing with strange or situational quirks.
Quirk: Emotion Lock
Izumi, activating it through initial physical touch, can lock someone's mood. I figured only one person at a time but I didn't settle on a time limit or if Izumi can do so indefinitely until she chooses to cancel it. I had no real premise for this as I just thought the quirk idea might make for potentially interesting stuff.

(Spinning the Clock) ?
This is a weird one as it's the very first quirk I thought of when I was getting into writing BNHA fanfiction.
Quirk: Twice Time
Izumi's quirk works from her eyes and she's able to create semi-visible bubbles (undecided on size, small to medium-ish) that make everything in the bubble move at twice their speed or half their speed.
Her left eye creates the one that is twice speed and her right eye makes the one at half speed and as a design feature, Izumi's left eye has what looks like a minute hand while her right has the hour hand (They work like a real clock but the time is wrong).
I figured she can only make one bubble at a time, but debated on if she later learned to make a single bubble using both eyes to be able to actively change the property. Izumi would need to continue looking at her target to keep the bubble active too and one of her downsides is the eye she's using glows when active so if you know which of her eyes is which then you can figure out what bubble she made. (I gave her a visor as part of her costume that fully lights up in response to hide that).
Her costume also had some design elements of a clock but that was just a fun point. No clue on a plot, general personality, or pair for Izumi though.

(Papillion Heart)
Here's an idea referenced over from the Persona series.
Quirk: Papillion Heart
The name is of course in regards to the object from the persona series inside of the anti shadow weapons like Aigis. This idea I basically turned Izumi into a machine much like Aigis, somewhat Metis, and Labrys (Or more obscure but not quite the same, Giselle from Stella Glow as that's also an Atlus game). Izumi would generally be a more emotionless person, needing to learn more about people, and she'd also constantly need to self-maintenance to either 'heal' or improve herself.
Izumi would still kinda be human but mostly machine. I'm unsure on some kind of pairing though despite perhaps the 'obvious' Melissa/Mei pick as inventors. I also figure certain groups would be interested in Izumi as to study her and make new technology based on her as well as control her to work for them.

Drop Dead Dullahan
More of a slice of life, yuri collection, type of idea in which Izumi's quirk makes her a Dullahan.
Quirk: Dullahan (But maybe she can use her neck, both from her body and head, as a flamethrower?)
I guess for a pair Setsuna could be a stand out choice since she can replicate a dullahan for all intents and purposes but I'm still not fully settled. Maybe to fit the naming play Izumi is gorgeous (Drop Dead Gorgeous) and then we go an older Izumi with an Uwabami pair?

(Variable Heart)
The name and quirk are in reference to the character Mai Natsume from BlazBlue. Variable Heart is one of Mai's music themes and the summoned spear is Mai's weapon while Izumi's fighting would match Mai. I highly recommend seeing some of Mai's moves and combos cause they're really cool.
(By the way, Mai is a, albeit magically, trans character so if you headcanon this Izumi as trans then feel free. One of the reasons I never specify on stuff like if Izumi is trans, lesbian, bi, etc...is to allow people to freely have their own ideas or headcanons to each enjoy for themselves.)
Quirk: Summoned Spear (Mai Natsume)
Aged up Izumi, Vigilante, Works as a gymnastics trainer?
I liked the idea of Izumi being just a good natured vigilante, maybe not being a hero from simply missing out or not having the opportunities, and then I had her as gymnastics trainer in reference to Mai's high flexibility attacks.

(Wrath's Wish)
This one came from me wanting to write an angry Izumi. Not like how I've done angry Izumi in Tiger's Bite/Hunt but instead a more hateful angry.
Quirk: Wrath/Divine Blessing
I was thinking something along the lines of as her rage grows so does the power and durability of her body. She can still get physically hurt but that only increases her anger and physical strength so landing what you'd think could be fatal blows may only serve to turn her into more of a monster. I was thinking of maybe keeping her quirk unactivated until around where canon takes place.
I'd imagine diving from the roof only to live and not be discovered would really give her that complete bitterness and then she lives out of pure spite and rage. I debated on if her hair would change, I've never done the marie antoinette syndrome trope before, because it would make her slightly less recognizable when she finally becomes active in whatever the plot may be. That part might just be the start and then she only pops back into the story after some years have passed.
A lot of these were the more bare drafted ideas I had and couldn't come up with much writing for. I hope the premises and thought processes behind them are still an interesting read for people.
