Idea 56: Quirk Log 6
Quirk Log time. I've been gone for a while for a number of reasons but I'll cover those more at the end and where I'm hoping to head. Shortened down immensely: Health but I'm doing better.
Quirk Log 6
(Temptation)
*Setsuna POV*
The general education student was pretty rude even by Setsuna's standards.
Her classmate Itsuka was up against a green haired girl who you just couldn't help but feel irked by. The other girl, Midoriya, had a somewhat cool expression but she skirted around the orange haired girl's attacks nonchalantly with both ease and laughter while not bothering to strike back despite having plenty of chances. The greenette even had her hands in her pockets and would spin on her heels or hop about lightly with minimal movement before making sure Itsuka was looking at her just to snicker right to her face.
Midoriya didn't appear to care much for the Sport's Festival, just being there because, and Setsuna doubted she wanted to be a hero as well considering how much she was just mocking Itsuka. She didn't blame her classmate for the tight scowl on her face as Midoriya again gave off that almost whimsical attitude that just begged for something to be done about it. Setsuna silently hoped that Itsuka would hit the other girl with something that would make Midoriya change her tune and it seemed that her classmate was hoping for exactly that herself.
Diving in for another attack, one of Itsuka's semi-enlarged hands was poised to deliver a forward chop to the greenette but Midoriya stunned everyone. Lifting her foot, the green casually blocked Itsuka's strike with the bottom of her foot while not even being budged by an inch. Itsuka wasn't weak by any means so the stunned look she sported certainly wasn't out of place but it only lasted for a moment before Midoriya shifted her raised foot to kick the orange haired student square in the face. Itsuka was sent tumbling away with a surprising amount of force and Setsuna, like most of the other audience members, grumbled as Midoriya chuckled to herself while holding her stomach with one hand and pointing at Itsuka with the other.
The 1-B student regained her footing, bloody nosed and clearly frustrated, before lashing out at her opponent almost thoughtlessly and not even bothering to make use of her quirk. Again, Midoriya easly dodged the narrow blows but the orange haired student growled and extended her last punch further which made the greenette's amused expression fall even. Itsuka had clearly nicked the girl but as soon as she had connected Midoriya suddenly had her on the ground. The greenette was sitting on Itsuka stomach while her feet pinned down her arms and Setsuna's classmate was staring up at her with a disbelieving face while Midoriya smiled down on her as her green hair covered her eyes.
Setsuna held her breath as a tense silence permeated the field.
*Itsuka POV*
"I quit."
Itsuka could only remain on her back despite the greenette getting off of her and announcing her withdrawal but eventually she took her own exit as well.
Itsuka knew she would have been feeling deeply ashamed and embarrassed had she not instead been feeling so thoroughly unsettled from the look Midoriya had given her at the end of the match. Her smile had taken on a sinister edge and her eyes had clouded and narrowed in a sickening, razor sharp, manner.
Like she had been looking at a piece of meat.
Itsuka never wanted to run into her again.
That girl was dangerous.
Quirk: (?)
Playfully mocking (laughs a lot), when her switch is flipped then she's almost perversely sadistic. Not sure what I was going with here. I had the idea for both a mocking and sadistic Izumi that is not really good at all. I don't fully want to give away her character if I end up doing it but I think she'd likely be the solo villain type and doesn't care for stuff like reforming or destroying society as it is. She's only looking out for the things she wants. I kind of have an idea for her quirk but I haven't hammered out the details.

(Marionette)
"Quit making that stupid face!"
The girl always had a creepy, doll-like, smile on her face to go with her unreadable and blank eyes.
You could yell or curse at her, spit at her feet, or even hit her and that expression would never leave her.
Quirk: Automaton (?)
-'Izumi' is an almost perfectly realistic automaton controlled from a distance by the real body
-The real Izumi 'lives' through the automaton
-Real Izumi is bedridden or remains inside for some reason?
-Other automatons? Inko automaton (replaces after possible death?) Automatons of lost loved ones for other people? (sometimes with or without their knowledge?)
-Works hard to perfectly replicate the respective person through their automatons save her own
-Leaves her automaton somewhat 'blank' to then adapt it to people individually?
I wanted to do something with the idea of puppetry and came to automatons. I definitely wanted Izumi be physically removed most everything and only be experiencing relationships and the world through her automatons. I have a decent idea about why she's made these automatons and why she stays in but again this was only a brief thing I brainstormed.

(Dyed in Scarlet) (?)
Quirk: Blood Forge
-Izumi can forge weaponry from her blood (hardened from blood?)
-Needs to be conscious of her blood usage or she'll weaken herself or even pass out
-Wounds inflicted by her weapons have extra effects? (Poisonous/Hurts worse than a regular wound of the same nature?)
-Needs to draw blood to use it
-Can re-absorb the blood weapon? (replenishing the respective used blood)
-Losing contact with her weapon turns it back into normal blood? (loses the weapon and blood)
-Does not need to hold the weapon conventionally (ex: a spear half growing from her wound)
I wanted Izumi to either have a sword or just blood weapons in general. It's simply cool. Of course I figured why not make some extra effects just cause but I'm not completely sold on the two ideas I had such as the poison effect or the increased pain. Not sure what route she'd go considering she favors bladed weaponry.

Quirk: Alchemy (?)
-Izumi is an alchemist (Based on the Atelier series)
-Older Izumi or set post canon Izumi?
-Wanders around and explores to find ingredients
-Not extremely aware of the rumors that spread around her (wandering miracle worker)
-Has no set home, camps around wherever
-Alt dimension angle which is where she finds the ingredients? (dimension can be entered by anyone, a purely nature based world? No humans there? Monsters from the atelier series?)
I really enjoy the Atelier series and I've had the idea of an alchemist Izumi for a super long time but couldn't find a direction I liked for it. With this one I could have her travel around and gain a rumored reputation with how she comes and goes. I'm not fully sold on the alt dimension angle but I thought it could be entertaining though I'm not sure how I'd incorporate it so it's important and remains that way.

(Devil's Advocate)
There were many better candidates but she found them to be the ones she liked best. They each held little of the respective aspects she found in them but what Izumi realized was that they also possessed qualities that easily could be twisted into those aspects.
Pride was blind. She could not see beyond herself, refused to understand how others saw her, and what she believed her image to be simply was not. Pride looked down upon her, her condescending eyes gazing from high above, while she relished underneath that judgement.
Envy was bitter. She could not admit the truth aloud and kept that flickering emotion buried deep down where it festered while out of her sight. Envy confided in her, her inner thoughts drawn to and breaking the surface, while she emboldened her flames.
Wrath was silent. She could not draw upon that rage readily but when it reared its head it become something vengeful and indiscriminate. Wrath studied her, her bellowing inner voice holding its tongue, while she vindicated her emotions.
Gluttony was deluded. She could not realize her fault and was easily impressionable which only served to hurt herself and those in the wake of her learning. Gluttony sought her, her being never satiated, while she tempted her at each turn.
Lust was poisonous. She could not hold her tongue and her loose words inflicted cuts beyond the physical all while she reveled in pleasure. Lust craved her, her desires though extending to others, while she falsely submitted to her.
Sloth was oblivious. She could not look around herself nor could she bring herself to care and her steely mask kept both herself and others in place. Sloth ignored her, her attention for no one, while she silently slipped thoughts through her defenses.
Greed was fractured. She could not differentiate the lines before her and they blurred together until she simply chose what granted her wish. Greed respected her, her claws yet to reach out by themselves, while she filled her mind with sweet words.
Izumi wanted each of them. She wanted to watch them warp and grow into their sin until they stood as its embodiment and brought themselves to ruin.
All before they realized that they didn't mind that.
I thought it'd be an interesting idea to do something with the seven sins and focus on more characters and the idea of the warping and corruption of good aspects into bad ones. I think I'd set it post canon most likely too. As a fun thing, can you figure out who each sin is? They're the 1-B girls.
Okay, so I injured my hands multiple times within the last few months, from cuts on my fingers and palms to burns, and it took a toll on not just writing but my daily life in general which didn't help me in any regards. I'm pretty much healed up now and hoping to get back to writing but I'm easing back into it so I don't burnout by trying to force myself to do too much. It was just a quirk log this time around but I figured getting ideas out would be good and I can give a short update. I'm looking forward to posting again.
Anyways, feel free to leave me suggestions in the reviews!
