Idea 57

Just one idea that I had done so I figured I'd post it. I am working on other updates thought but I've been very busy and unwell on and off.

*Shouto POV*

Shouto at least recognized the danger she posed.

He hadn't expected to run into so much trouble during the Sport's Festival, from a general education student at that, but his opponent pressed him heavily. He didn't know what her quirk was but he was fighting three different personality versions of Midoriya all at once and they all had physical capabilities on par with most strength enhancing quirks. One of them, the quiet and distressed looking one, stayed at the back and relayed words to the other two every so often as she watched his moves closely. The next one, a bratty and haughty speaking girl, yelled at her two companions while stepping in here and there to stop Shouto's attempts at blind siding any of them while she glared in exasperated annoyance. Finally, the last one, who seemed to have her head in the clouds despite an unsettling edge that flickered across her lips and eyes, directly attacked him nigh relentlessly.

Shouto tried countless times to shatter their teamwork but he supposed that them, in essence, being the same person was going to make it nearly impossible. The bratty one raised a foot and gave a straight kick to the ice he tried to sneak by her, breaking it with ease, and the boy didn't have another chance to try before the ditzy one was on him again. He was wearing down but the three Midoriyas only appeared distressed, annoyed, and thoughtlessly happy in that order. If only he had some info on her quirk to make sense of what she could fully do.

It hadn't been long since the match started but he'd wear down from his ice at this point. The one that was attacking him backed off for a moment, giving him time to recompose himself a bit as she stared off with a dopey smile, and his ears locked onto Present Mic's voice as he finally got to bringing up his green haired opponent's quirk.

"Stronger, faster, and 3 in, and or, 1 which makes it no surprise what her power is," the Voice Hero informed, "Midoriya Izumi. Quirk: Cerberus!"

"Aw, he gave the fun away so soon," the air headed Midoriya half pouted and half laughed. "We prefer to split up though," she shared without him asking before pointing at herself and calling over in a gentle tone, "I'm Kuuki by the way."

Shouto didn't really care but if she was going to maybe give something helpful away then so be it. Sending another sharp wave of ice at Kuuki again proved useless as she simply sidestepped out of the way and let the attack go for the haughty version of her who promptly kicked it apart.

"Do your job, Kuuki!" she shouted in anger and said girl giggled and directed her attention back to Shouto.

"Bratty over there is Hime," she told him with a soft grin, "pretty on the nose right?" Kuuki said while swaying on her feet, Hime sticking her tongue out at her, before she closed her eyes. "Then all the way at the back is Kurai." she introduced, said girl giving a curt bow of her head despite being so far away, "maybe that's more on the nose," Kuuki noted.

"I didn't ask," Shouto ground out, slowly growing more frustrated, but she put a finger up to her mouth in thought.

"But shouldn't you know?" she questioned, "it's important to us that when we're split up that people see that we're different. The three of us are more sisters than one person really."

While he didn't need the exposition on what they thought, Kuuki seemed all too pleased to keep going. They may have been giving him a brief break but Shouto knew that he was at a very large disadvantage.

"Don't you wanna know what makes us different?" she asked innocently while a beat of silence settled between before Kuuki appeared to pretend to think hard. "Kurai's the smartest but she's held back by her empathy and ends up like a doormat," she rattled off suddenly, "and Bratty is indecisive and then gets stubborn when she makes up her mind," she mused happily. "Which is why they sent me to attack," she grinned and the ice and fire user flinched when Kuuki was suddenly right in his face. "Cause I don't have any issues doing something like this," she purred and as he tried to retreat a backhanded slap whipped right across the scarred side of his face.

The strike had stunned him and his legs were kicked out from under him before another kick drilled into his stomach. Shouto hacked as he was sent skidding towards the ring's edge but he could see Kuuki taking bouncy strides towards him. She didn't rush in, not beating him even though she could have, and he realized that she was likely just doing this because she felt like it.

As if she was just playing with a toy mindlessly.

Her expression was kept even but retained a part of that light and thoughtless smile and that only distrubed him more. She stalked up to him playfully and he sent more ice that of course she avoided and Kuuki rocked on her heels in front of him. Shouto didn't have the words but he growled lowly to himself though a moment later another voice sharply cut in.

"Hurry it up!" Hime admonished in a shout and Kuuki acted surprised.

"Oopsie," she feigned, "sounds like Kurai's about to cry."

Shouto couldn't even fight back when Kuuki pushed him out with her foot, as if she was kicking a pebble out of her way, and he glared at her back as she walked off. Hime strutted up to her and started yelling something at Kuuki with an accusatory finger while Kurai ran up to them with a panicked look and teary eyes.

Shouto decided there that he'd avoid them in the future.

(Bubbly Airhead) Kuuki (as in air, atmosphere, often brought up when making the social 'atmosphere' weird, sounds like kooky)
More like sisters and sees themselves as such
Quirk is unknown and take turns going to school? (Kurai usually gets bullied into going. Kuuki sometimes goes for fun. Hime hardly, if ever, goes.)
All 3 or 1. No mix and match.

Just one idea this time.

The Cerberus idea has been brought up to me multiple times and it's popped up a few times in my thoughts so I figured I'd do some writing for it and feel it out. Considering how it's usually used I figured that Izumi would generally stay split up and the three would be very different from one another because well, that's the draw of the idea isn't it? I can always use different personalities as opposed to the ones in this writing if I do this idea but those were the ones that popped up a lot.

I'm working on a few other updates but have been very preoccupied these past months though I really hope to at least get some stuff for the 1-B slice of life fic and the yuri collection.
