Idea 63: Quirk Log 11
Quirk Log mainly cause I wanted to use Izumis with particular design elements, physical or personality wise, rather than quirks. Is this even a quirk log then?

I wanted to write an Izumi who was just super cocky in a fight. Like physically taunts people and the like and her fighting style is based around dodging but her quirk has nothing to do with it. She just does it to piss people off in a fight. With that in mind, I figured her quirk would be some kind of defense based thing, be it armor or the like, so then her quirk is essentially useless to how she likes to throw down.
Not entirely sure on her personality in full or what position she's in (hero student, normal student, etc...) but maybe her fighting came from she just doesn't like getting hit even with her quirk so she went for this evading and counter style.

Imagine her going through the Sport's Festival 3rd event just to dunk on everyone for fun.

What Are You Starin' At?
Izumi design/like Maki from Final Fight (Yankee Izumi, Quirk: Leg/Limb Spring)
My first fighting game, that I got into mad late and on the ps3, was Capcom Vs SNK 2 and my favorite character to play is Maki Genryusai. Just skip through this TAS and look at her moves.

I just love everything about her and an Izumi that fought like this would be so cool so I went with a simple quirk called Leg/Limb Spring (essentially just making her limbs have strong pushing and cushion abilities) so she could fight in this style.
As a delinquent maybe she'd be a pseudo-vigilante who just gets into some tussles here and there when she's cutting out of school. No particular pairing in mind yet but there's a lot when it comes to the delinquent type especially in the contrasting department (Timid Type, Proper Type, etc..)
I'm just saying though, Maki likes Motorcycles and so does another character that I often pair with Izumi (Itsuka)

Gotcha
This was one of the ones in which I more so wanted an Izumi with this particular design. If you've ever seen the Gotcha!/Acacia Pokemon MV tell me you couldn't imagine an Izumi with the design of the female trainer in that video.
As for a quirk I guess I can do any kind of the pokemon quirk ideas I've pitched before (usually in which Izumi can transform into a specific pokemon). I've pitched the ideas of Rayquaza, Kyogre, and Giratina before but I already had pretty decent ideas for each and given the design of the female trainer in that MV then Izumi would have a more cheery personality I'd imagine.

This one came from me researching about Japan and jobs that came or were important in the country and I came across the 'Rental Service'. I think there's an anime/manga with the premise though I've never looked into it. I think it's 'Rent-a-girlfriend/Rental Girlfriend' or something of the like.
I wasn't purely set on the idea of going through them being in a 'family' situation as I also figured Izumi could just be hired for housekeeping and the like but the option to play around with the different concepts remains there.

Either way I wanted this sort of semi-domestic situation and feel. I think it's plausible too especially for heroes who just may not have time or energy to take care of their own house stuff so they hire someone to take care of it for them.

Had she been a lesser person she may have screamed.
Midoriya was...horrifying frankly.
Her facial features were practically morphing as she became increasingly impassioned. The entirety of her eyes had become pitch black holes that were reminiscent of staring into an abyss. Her mouth turned upwards at its corners to impossible degrees as her teeth sharpened themselves into fangs as she spoke through excited pants. Obsidian scales crawled at her deeply blushed face and sweat dribbled from her skin. Her rough hair bristled and swayed while multiple sets of varied horns slowly pushed from beneath her locks. Her hands clenched together, twisting and grasping as they deformed into a more bestial and savage shape, and tails of different creatures began to grow from beneath her long skirt.
Color began to form once more in her eyes but they were the picture of messy, black, circular scrawlings as a glowing and bloody red peeked from underneath. The mass of two colors shifted and wriggled about and through the pitch dark color the red managed to messily form into what could almost be a shaky hearts. Midoriya's hands raised up and the chimeric woman cupped her own face like an embarrassed school girl as those flickering eyes peered from behind her elongated, claw-like fingers.
There was no other way to put it, her behavior was creepy, even downright disturbing, but her words appeared genuine and this physical reaction of hers was so erratic that it was almost as if it couldn't be helped. It was as if Midoriya didn't know what she looked like to other people and her monstrous features slipped out the same way as someone simply expressing a smile without thought.
Other than me really like Zyugoya's artstyle I've been really into comedy mangas with horror elements lately. Particularly 'Wakeari Shinrei Mansion' which I found recently. Really good stuff imo so I wanted to either write something that had horror elements and either go the domestic fluff route or funny fluff one. Of course there would still be moments of serious stuff but not too at the forefront.
Also because of that manga I mentioned and Zyugoya then Izumi should have a pudding head hair dye job design wise. I thought it'd be fun.
A few things.
I like varying Izumis.
Some of the ideas were mainly passing fun but I think a couple here I could at least implement into the yuri fic. At least that's where I found they would best fit if I ran with them.
I mentioned this on Wasteful Days but I'll plop a quick version of it here too. Finally got some irritating and/or unexpected setbacks behind me so I'm able to write more now.
Pairing question. What pairs do you like when I write in general? What pairs do you wish I wrote more of? (That I've done or not)
