When Legends were young, one word was never spoken, for fear that the Legend was true.

That word was

Bohrok

Deep below Stonehenge, All Hallow's Eve 1995

"Finally, after all these years, the ultimate fighting force is in my reach!" laughed the Dark Lord Voldemort.

The mad wizard was currently walking through this ancient cave with his most loyal followers. His goal was something he discovered during his time at Hogwarts, decades ago.

Clutched in his left hand was a withered scroll of parchment he found in the Chamber of Secrets in 1943. He then has spent the last five decades learning and translating the cryptic language on the scroll.

It told him about the mighty Bohrok. Soulless beings whose only purpose was to destroy everything. They were controlled by…something. Unfortunately, most of the written text was so faded that it was impossible to read it, but Voldemort felt he understood enough. Whatever controlled the Bohrok would fall to his superior magic, and then he would force the wizard and muggle world to their knees once and for all, with him as their eternal and immortal king.

"My Lord" began Lucius Malfoy "Are you sure we should be here? This place feels…dangerous"

"Are you doubting my cunning Lucius?" hissed Voldemort to his most loyal Death Eater.

"N-No of course not my Lord! I was only voicing my concerns, I should have remained silent. Please forgive my audacity" the blonde man fell to his knees while he begged for forgiveness.

"Hm, in my eternal kindness I have already forgiven you. But never question me again" replied Voldemort.

The group continued their way, regularly checking for any traps, but so far they found nothing.

Finally, they reached a giant, ornamented door. To the surprise of everyone, the door resisted each and every attempt to open it with magic. It took a while of them shooting spells at the door, until Bellatrix curiously laid her hand on the door and pushed. And it opened with a mighty groan.

They then reached a giant hall. It was taller, wider and longer than their eyes could see. The walls and ceiling (where they could see it), were covered in green, hexagonal plates, behind each plate a dim light shined. Carefully, the group of dark wizards went deeper into the hall.

After an estimated hour-long walk, they finally reached something. It was a pit on the floor. In the pit, two huge, grotesque figures were intertwined with each other. To the wizards, they looked like golems or statues, but Voldemort could see (thanks to the countless dark rituals he forced upon his body) that there was a very weak spark of life in these two figures. He concluded that they must be whatever controlled the Bohrok.

"Hit them with as many spells as you can to wake them up, but don't destroy them!" ordered Voldemort.

His loyal Death Eaters wasted no time and soon dozens of colourful lights flooded the pit. All kinds of wake-up spells, pain curses and whatever else they could think of to wake someone up rained down on the two figures.

Suddenly, the eyes of both figures flashed bright green (how Voldemort hated such eyes) and the figures slowly rose what he thought were their heads.

He wasted no time. Voldemort pulled out his wand, pointed it at the blue creature and shouted "IMPERIO!"

It was supposed to be so easy. Control the controller and the ultimate force would be his. But no. When the Imperius connected with its target, Voldemort immediately felt that something was wrong. It was as if he was trying to push against a mountain. It wasn't one mind he was trying to take over, or even two. That he could manage. There were thousands of individual minds, all connected with each other.

Even him, the greatest wizard alive (self proclaimed) stood no chance against such numbers. He quickly cancelled the curse and refocused on his vision, which was now filled with two monstrous faces.

"Look at that sister" said the blue creature.

"I see it sister" replied the red one.

"WE ARE THE BAHRAG! WE ARE THE QUEENS OF THE SWARM!" they proclaimed in perfect sync.

"You tried to attack Cahdok" hissed the red Bahrag.

"He tried Gahdok, but he failed" added Cahdok.

"For that you must die! Now the swarm will awaken and fulfil its destiny!" shouted both queens once more in sync before they started to chant in a weird language.

"Bahahahahaha! Our Lord must die?! HOW DARE YOU SAY SUCH WORDS!" shouted Bellatrix with a mad laugh, but the Bahrag ignored her.

Before the wizards could draw their wands again, six silver lights fell down from the ceiling. The wizards were now surrounded by six figures.

They all had a nearly round body build, with a large metallic plate over their faces. They stood slightly bent forward and were easily two metres tall. Their colours were different, as well as the shields on their arms.

"Whoever threatens the Bahrag must be eliminated"

These were the last words the humans heard, spoken by six different voices in their heads, before they were obliterated by a burst of electricity and boiling plasma.

Voldemort's spirit floated in the air to watch what was happening now. From all over the walls, the hexagonal plates burst open and nearly round beings flew out of them.

There were six different colours as far as he saw. Red, blue, green, brown, white and black. That must be the Bohrok, which meant that the six that just killed his most loyal followers must have been some special breed.

The normal Bohrok had see-through plates on their faces, and behind the plate was some kind of small creature.

Then the Bohrok curled into spheres and left the hall, with the spirit of Voldemort quickly following behind. When he reached the entrance to the cave, he stopped. There was a stone plate with writing on it. It read "Leave the nest alone! The Bohrok can't be stopped! You wake one, you wake them all!"

The Bohrok were left aeons ago on earth, with the order to destroy everything they found. In short, that meant they would reduce the land to sea level. To destroy, they would use the shields on their hands, which allowed them to channel the power of the elements.

They were guided by the Krana, small creatures who in turn were controlled by the Bahrag. That's why Voldemort was unable to control the Bahrag. The Bahrag were permanently in telepathically contact with each other and the Krana. The Krana could also be used to control other beings, something the Bohrok mainly used to get civilians out of the way

This day would be remembered world wide as the day Britain vanished. The Bohrok swarmed the British Isles and quickly went to work. Strategically they first destroyed each and every military base.

Whoever engaged them in combat got killed quickly and painless. But should someone be unarmed or surrender, the Bohrok would shoot their Krana at them, which would cause the Krana to guide the victim to a safe location.

In just one week, nearly every human made building on the British Isles got reduced to rubble, of the sixty million people who lived there, fifty thousand got killed by the Bohrok, the rest got evacuated by the Krana.

And then came the wizards.

They immediately attacked the Bohrok with all their might, which in turn caused the Bohrok to fight back. Since they were basically not alive, the muggle repel wards that surrounded Hogwarts, Diagon Alley and every Wizard settlement were useless against them.

Magic was unable to damage their reinforced metal bodies, so the Bohrok breezed through the forces and defences of the wizards. Out of the ten thousand British Wizards, only one hundred survived, because they didn't attack the Bohrok. Not even one of these Witches and Wizards were over 14 years old.

Unknowingly to them, the Bohrok destroyed every single Horcrux of Voldemort, the highly concentrated acid of the green Bohrok made short work of the dark objects.

And so, the Bohrok freed the world of the worst Dark Wizard ever, solved the problem of blood purity and ended centuries of oppression.

After their horrible, but fundamentally necessary work was done, the swarm returned to the nest, and the Bohrok returned to their eternal sleep.
