C4

Somewhere at night in a round fifteen story private technical security building, multiple groups of the infamous organization known as the Hornets were attempting to steal a certain microchip while keeping their eyes peeled for any security. So far there isn't any. So they thought. The squad leader of the assignment was looking at each file drawers of microchips in search for the desired chip.

"Didn't anyone tell you guys that crime doesn't pay?." came a female voice.

The goons loaded their guns and started searching for where the voice is coming from. Suddenly a swift kick made contact with one the goon's chest and then another one got punched in the face. Violet turned visible and smirked at the shocked goons.

"That's right, Invisible Girl has arrive." Violet motion them. "Let's dance."

The goons, stunned by her sudden appearance, scrambled to get their bearings. Their eyes searched the room, trying to pinpoint where she was. Violet took advantage of the chaos, darting between the aisles of file drawers with a grace that belied the danger of the situation. Each step she took was silent, her movements fluid and precise. The air around her crackled with anticipation, charged by her unseen presence.

One by one, the goons started to drop, each taken out by an invisible hand that seemed to strike from nowhere. A thud here, a grunt there, and soon the once confident group was on the defensive. Their panic grew palpable as they realized they were no match for someone who could be anywhere and everywhere at once. Violet's voice echoed through the room, taunting them, playing a twisted game of cat and mouse.

"You're making this too easy," she murmured, her voice seeming to come from all around. "I'm over here."

The guy turned to point but then heard her again.

"Oh, no not there, here." Violet chuckled before tripping off his balance.

Rays of bullets fired at her but didn't make any contact when putting up her force shield. Violet then throws her shield right at them and made a light explosion to knock them out.

"You guys need to upgrade your tech," she quipped as they groaned on the ground.

Little did she know, the squad leader had gotten back to his feet, then he pointed his gun right at the back of Violet's head and is about to blow her brains out. That is until a blink of flash had knocked the gun out of his hand which alerted Violet. She was seconds away to act but got stopped when a familiar flash went passed her and drop kicked the guy before she saw a 6 year old using his obese power to body slam the guy before turning back to his original weight. The quick individual zipped back and reval himself with a confident look.

"Good work, Jack-Jack." Dash high fived his baby brother.

Violet, momentarily surprised by the intervention, quickly regained her composure. "Thanks for the assist, but I had it under control," she said, a hint of annoyance in her voice.

Jack-Jack, unfazed, stuck out his tongue playfully. "Couldn't help myself, sis. You looked like you were having fun."

"Hey, wait a second." Violet had that suspicious look. "If you two are here then..."

"Yes, we are here as well, Violet." came a male voice.

Violet turned to see her Dad and Mom who were casually walked in. This made Violet to have a look at the whole situation and surroundings. This was all staged.

"There isn't a distress call about an important microchip in this building." Violet frowned at her family and former team. "This was a fake. You guys set this up "

"Why yes we did, Vi." Helen crossed her arms. She gave her a strict motherly look. "The owner of this building is a friend of mine and I asked him a solid to give you a font distress call after tipping off the Hornets organization. We need to talk to you about a certain individual that is on your team."

Violet's eyes narrowed. "What are you talking about?."

"We're talking about the Rider. Miguel's alter ego." Bob said before tying up the goons. "Does you and your team have a contingency plan for him?."

Violet's heart raced as she thought about her friend and teammate. "What about him? He's one of us. Why would we do something like this?."

"Unlike Penny, Rider is a force of nature." Helen spoke seriously. "Given his history and before Hiro created Team Future, he creates massive destruction and go as far as hitting his rage and go on a rampage."

Violet felt her stomach drop. Rider had been nothing but a loyal and caring friend since the day they met. She couldn't imagine him causing harm, but she knew her parents wouldn't be telling her this without reason. "What do you mean?. Rider has been in control of himself since his time away in Hawaii when helping that Hawaiian girl named Lilo. Why do anyone of you care about this?. This is a TF business."

"Then that case, Violet, you go find a solution in stopping Rider." said Dash.

Violet's eyes widened in shock. "What?. Why me?."

"You guys are friends, right?." asked Jack-Jack.

Violet nodded. "Yeah, best friends."

"Good." Bob looked at her with a mix of seriousness and concern. "Because we've noticed some troubling patterns in his recent missions. He's been pushing himself too hard, and his emotional state is volatile."

"That comes with the work as a Future, Dad." Violet shoots back with a hint of anger.

"This isn't about work, honey," said Helen, her tone softer. "We're talking about his well-being. And we're worried that if something isn't done, it could lead to disaster. For him the world."

"I thought Penny was an idea global threat?. Since she is...Mighty Girl. I thought the world leaders are thinking about it, huh?." Violet getting mad.

"This isn't about Penny, Violet. This is about preventing a potential crisis." Bob's voice remained firm. "We've noticed that Rider's been getting more and more reckless. And there's something...off about him lately."

"There's nothing off about my friend." Violet snapped back. "Besides him having a bottomless pit for a stomach, Rider is normal as he is going to be. Leave him alone!."

"Violet, you know we don't make accusations lightly." Helen's eyes searched her daughter's, looking for understanding. "We've seen the intel from your missions, the damage reports, and the... incidents with civilians."

"Why should I even obey your orders?." Violet raised her brow. "I no longer live under your roof. I'm not apart of the Incredible Family anymore. Unlike Dash and Jack-Jack, I am not a yes person and just let you and Dad get the freaking spotlight. On my team we all have the shared spotlight."

Bob sighs, his eyes filled with sadness. "Violet, you know that's not what we're trying to do."

"Heck, yeah, you are." Violet turned to leave. "You and Mom will never change. Your era is beyond over. It's my and my Team's time."

"You just find a solution and report back to us." Helen frowned before Violet have her the middle finger. "Oh, no, she didn't!."

"You're damn right, I did!." Violet shouted, her eyes ablaze with defiance. "I don't need to take orders from you guys anymore. I've got my own life to live, my own battles to fight with my team. My real family!."

With that, she literally disappeared, leaving the Parr family standing there, stunned by her outburst. They had never seen Violet this upset before, and the tension in the room was thick enough to cut with a knife. Violet returned to her hover motorcycle and got on after going back to being visible.

"Stupid Mom." Violet mumbled. "What does she and Dad or anyone else knows about Rider?." the thought of what they said was starting to sink in before she banged her head. "Stop, don't think about it."

The hover motorcycle shot into the night, the wind whipping past Violet as she raced back to Team Future's headquarters. Her mind raced with thoughts of Rider, their friendship, and the accusations her family had thrown at him. It was hard to reconcile the image of her reckless, yet caring friend with that of a potential global threat. Back at TF headquarters, Rider, who is in his massive room, was on his bed watching tv while polishing one of his variety trading cards that were in its protection slip.

"Hmmm." Rider looked at the TV with a boarded look. "Nothing is good on." He turns it off before putting his card back in its spot on the shelf with the others. "I should make myself useful and see if anyone needs my assistance."

He gets up and starts to walk out his door when he hears the sound of someone arriving. He recognized the sound of Violet's hover motorcycle. He looked at the security TV to see the flat rooftop and watched her land. He could feel the tension in the air. Something was wrong. He waited for her to enter the headquarters before he walked out of his room.

Violet stormed into the headquarters, her eyes scanning the area for Rider. She found him in the hallway, looking at her with a confused expression. "Vi, what's going on?." He asked, concern etching his face.

"My parents," she spat out, trying to keep her emotions in check. "They think you're a ticking time bomb. That you're going to go off on a rampage like some kind of uncontrollable monster."

Rider's eyes widened, his hand paused mid-air as he was about to greet her. "What?. That's ridiculous. I've been nothing but a hero since I joined Team Future. Well... before Team Future was even a thought in Hiro's mind, I did had a not so pretty record but I got better later on."

Violet let out a sigh and leaned against the wall. "I know. But they've been looking at our recent mission reports and they're worried about your... emotional stability." She avoided looking at him, focusing on the floor instead.

"Hmmm, I know where they are coming from and can't blame them." said Rider before leading the way to the living room.

"What do you mean by that?." Violet followed him with a confused look.

"Violet, you and I both know that myself and Penny are a global threats. Everyone knows that Penny is the Universe's Mightiest Champion which that title isn't a self proclaim. And me being the mightiest thing in existence. That is kinda scary thing if something happens to us and we go on a rampage berserk tour, then call it a real life apocalypse." said Rider, when he and Violet entered the living room.

Violet nodded solemnly, taking a seat next to him on the couch. "But you've been fine. You've been helping people, saving lives. You're a hero, Rider."

Rider sighed heavily, running a hand through his flaming hair. "Yeah, I know that. But let's face it, I do have a temper. And when I get mad..." He trailed off, his gaze distant. "Well, we've seen what happens."

"That's a long time ago when this team is getting started." said Violet.

Rider nodded. "I know. But I can't shake the feeling that something is off. Like I'm just one bad day away from losing it all over again."

"We all have our moments, Rider." Violet put a comforting hand on his arm. "But you're not alone. We're here for you. And we'll work through it together."

Rider slightly roughly nudged Violet with a chuckle. "Yeah, I know. Now, enough about all that. Let's go out and get ourselves an authentic New York style pizza from down the street and shoot some pool at the pool hall."

"Pizza sounds good," said Violet with a smile, trying to lighten the mood. They both knew that talking about serious matters always gave them an appetite. Plus, it was a good excuse to get out of the tension filled headquarters for a bit.

Rider nodded and got up. "Good. Come on."

The two of them left the headquarters and headed down the street to the local pizzeria. The neon sign flickered in the night as they pushed open the door, the scent of freshly baked dough and melted cheese greeting them. They ordered a large pizza to go and waited for it to be made. Little did the two know that someone on the roof was watching them but more focused on Rider. That person is Robert Callaghan aka Yokai. After being busted out of prison in Mexico all thanks to Melody on the behalf of Calico and his forming team of villains. In truth, Callaghan rejected their offer of joining the Alliance of The Super Villains, but when Calico promised him that he would get to see and be with his daughter, Callaghan agreed to do the assignment given to him. That is offing off Team Future.

And that is through with Rider. Callaghan went over the medium sized silver canister containing special microbots that he created for this certain type of job. His armwist device started beeping and answered to see a hologram image of Calico, who is wearing Hiro's old armor, had his arms behind him and had a look of seriousness.

"Report." Calico ordered.

Callaghan took a deep breath. "Invisible Girl and Rider are on a friendly outing, getting a pizza. No signs of the rest of the Team Future members. This is the perfect opportunity."

Calico nodded. "Good. Proceed with the plan."

Callaghan's eyes narrowed as he ended the call. He had his doubts about provoking Hiro and his Team Future, but the thought of reuniting with his daughter overrode by default. He knew that if he didn't go through with it, Calico would not let him see his daughter and just sent him back to prison. With determination, he pressed the green keypad with the code to unlock the hatch. Then he went to his arm wrist and started activating the microbots before programming their target. Once pressing start the tiny bots flew right out of the canister and swarmed in unison before heading straight for Rider.

"Here is your large supreme pizza." The lady said when giving Violet the box of pizza. "Enjoy."

"Thank you," Rider said with a tip before taking the box. "Let's get out of here, I'm starving."

As they stepped outside into the cool night air, the smell of the pizza grew even more enticing, making their stomachs rumble in unison. They chatted lightly about their favorite toppings as they strolled towards the pool hall, trying to push the earlier conversation to the back of their minds. The sound of mechanical noise began to be heard as the two stopped and looked up to see a swarm of unknown things.

"What the?." Violet raised her brow.

Rider's eyes widened as he looked at the swarm of microbots that were heading towards them. "Oh no." He recognized the signature of the tech. "Isn't this Hiro's old original technology?."

"Microbots," Violet whispered, her eyes scanning the sky. "This isn't good." she pressed her commlink earpiece. "Team Future, Future up."

Hiro responded. "Uh, Violet, that is my line. But what's up?."

Violet's voice grew urgent. "We've got incoming. Microbots, and they look like they're targeting Rider."

"They are!." Rider gave the pizza to Violet and made the go ahead in jumping away but the microbots were chasing after them.

Violet tossed the pizza to the side and ran after Rider and spoke in her earpiece. "You guys better get here, ASAP."

The microbots swarmed closer, their mechanical buzzing growing louder as they homed in on Rider. Violet knew they had to move fast. The things finally made contact with Rider and began zapping him. Rider started to get irritated.

"Ow!. What the?" Rider swiped at them, trying to brush them off, but it was like trying to swat a cloud of angry bees. "Get off of me!."

The Microbots continued stinging Rider to the point his heat of rage started to flare up. Violet was about to do something until her eyes spotted someone on the rooftop watching them. She quickly turned to see Callaghan there and instantly ran before jumping on the fire escape ladder. Violet did some acrobatic moves to reach the top and quickly twisted the man's arm before he could make a move. She pinned him to the ground and put pressure on his arm while having her foot on the middle of his back.

"You're not going to do anything to him." she threatened through gritted teeth. "How the hell did you escape prison?."

Callaghan chuckled. "It's all part of a bigger plan. A plan that does involve you, but since you are here with me then I guess four out of five isn't that bad."

"What are you talking about?." Violet demanded, pressing harder on his arm.

Rider started to feel the bots absorbing his powers a bit before getting off of him and went to swarm their next target or should I say targets. Rider looked to the other side to see Hiro flying along with Penny carrying her on her back and Wilbur flying. Violet put two to two together before letting Callaghan go and pressed her earpiece.

"Guys, get out of there now!." Violet warned.

"What do you mean?. It's just tiny doohickeys." Merida spoke with no care or worry.

Hiro pulled back and removed his mask showing his shock. "Wait, are those my...microbots?."

"Yeah, it is and they're heading right at us." Penny spoke before getting the chance to react.

The swarm of the microbots circled around them in top speed before releasing Rider's energy in a form of gas. Hiro and all four started to inhale it before falling down while coughing. Violet's eyes grew wide before grabbing Callaghan up with an angry look.

"What did you do?!." said Violet. "Don't make me ask again."

"It's simple really." Callaghan spoke with no fear. "In order to defeat Team Future you have to use what they have in their arsenal. That arsenal is Rider. His DNA, I mean."

"I don't get it." said Violet.

Callaghan smirked. "You will soon enough. Those microbots have a sample of Rider's DNA. And when they get close enough to any of Team Future members, it's going to react." He paused, watching the chaos unfolding below. "It's a bit like a virus, really. The more of Team Future you have together, the more infected we will have."

Violet growled and headbutted the man to unconsciousness. Meanwhile, Rider went over and threw a wave of flames to burn the microbots into ash before checking in his friends. He didn't expect to see what came next. Hiro, Penny, Merida, and Wilbur were alright but their appearance has morphed into similar looks of Rider. Both their faces were skeletons and had that flame around them.

"Uh, oh." Rider looked at them. "We have a situation."

Penny coughed while getting back to her feet. "What's going on with us?." She touched her skeletal face. "And why do we look like you?."

"Whatever this is, it has Callaghan's hand written all over it." Hiro said when looking at everyone.

Violet nodded. "We need to find out what those microbots did to you guys. And fast."

Without a moment to waste they returned to headquarters with Hiro in his lab trying to find a cure while Rider tries to maintain organization in the building with the others who were showing symptoms of his old ways. Such as aggression, unable to keep their temperature in check, and not breaking things. Rider told Violet to keep her distance away from everyone or else he thinks they too can detect sin and wrong just like him.

Merida growled at Rider. "We're out of food!."

"Yeah, because you ate everything in the kitchen." Rider told her. "Now, you know how my stomach is when there isn't enough food to satisfy my gut."

"It's okay, I got it," said Violet, her voice tight with tension. "I'll get us something to eat."

"No, you stay where you are." Rider told her before seeing Penny getting upset with breaking the remote to the TV. "What happened?."

"It's just that..." Penny was visibly upset. "I keep getting these weird thoughts and emotions. It's like I'm seeing everything in black and white and all I want to do is fight something!."

"It's just the sensing of wrong and evil from outside." Rider looked at her. "Just remind yourself that people aren't perfect and they make mistakes. Repeat that."

Penny took a deep breath and nodded, trying to calm herself down. "I'll try."

"Grrrrr, damn it!." Wilbur angrily walked in with a melted doorknob. "That's the fifth doorknob that I melted!."

Rider sighed. "Where were you trying to go?."

"The bathroom." Wilbur said sheepishly. "I can't even control my heat."

"Pretend that every doorknob is a form of sub zero object and it's fighting against your heat. In fact, pretend everything is subzero. There's more bathrooms with knobs on the next floor. Try it again. Got it?."

"Yeah, got it." Wilbur nodded before walking out to the hallway and taking a deep breath.

Rider looked at Violet with a confused look. "Is this what it is like?. Living and putting up with me?."

Violet forced a smile, trying to hide her concern. "Don't worry about it. We're just having a bit of a...glitch. Hiro will fix it." She tried to sound reassuring but the doubt in her voice was palpable.

Hiro was getting mad at not finding a cure as he started wrecking his lab. "Damn it!."

Rider and Violet can hear it from where they are and didn't like the sound of it.

"Is this going to be permanent?." Violet asked with concern.

"No, it's far worse." Rider said with seriousness.

"What do you mean?" Violet's voice was shaking.

"What I'm seeing is that their current transformation is a knockoff to me. It's very unstable. The more they are giving out in rage the more they're damaging their cells. I'm most certain that they will in fact explode and die instantly." said Rider.

Violet's heart stopped. "What?. No, we can't let that happen."

"Well, I do have one solution and..." Rider was stopped when Penny and Merida started fighting each other. "Hey!."

Violet watched in horror as her friends' personalities were overtaken by the aggression that seemed to be a byproduct of the microbots' infection. "Guys, stop! We have to stay calm!."

"Stay calm!?." Penny pointed at Merida. "That Irish bimbo has eaten all the cookies!."

Merida's eyes went wide with rage. "I'm not Irish! I'm Scottish, you daft lass!."

Penny's heat rays are starting to tune on. "Same thing!."

Rider quickly jumped in between them. "Guys, guys, guys, we need to chill out. We can't let Calico and his team win like this!."

Merida grabbed him by the shoulder and threw him out of the way. "Now, you know how that feels when I want to play my bagpipes!."

Violet's eyes widened as she saw the rage in Penny's eyes. She had to think fast. "Penny, remember what I said about everyone making mistakes?" she called out, trying to be heard over the commotion. "Merida didn't mean it. We're all just a little... confused right now."

Penny pointed her bony finger at Violet. "You shut it, Violet. You are the worst member of the team!. You think you should be the center of attention since you are the only one who is born a Super. You have a lot of wrongs on you and I can see them!."

Violet took a step back, her heart racing. "Penny, it's me. You're not thinking right."

But Penny's rage had taken over. "You're all wrong!" she shouted, her eyes burning with a fiery glow. "You're all hiding something!. And I'm going to punish you for it!."

As Penny was about to tackle Violet, Rider quickly punched Penny and sent her flying into multiple walls. Merida tried to use her brow but she unfortunately burned it into a crisp before he punched her in the gut. Then out of nowhere both Hiro and Wilbur busted through another wall and roared in pure anger.

"You guys aren't well." Rider calmed down. "You need emergency medical care."

Hiro and Wilbur growled at him in anger while seeing Penny get back and Merida started cracking her knuckles.

"Don't make me hurt each and every one of you. I will." Rider threatened.

"He is not kidding." Violet stepped beside Rider, her eyes blazing. "We're in this together, remember? We're Team Future!."

Her words seemed to resonate with them, and for a moment, the room was still. Then, with a collective sigh of relief, the fiery aura around Hiro, Penny, Merida, and Wilbur began to fade. They looked at each other, then at Rider and Violet, their expressions a mix of confusion and embarrassment.

"Look, just give us time to fix this. Just stay here and don't go anywhere." Rider told them before picking up Violet on his back. "Will be back."

"Wait, where are you going?!" Hiro called out but was too late as Rider jumped out the window and into the night sky.

"Vanellope, commence major security lockdown on TF tower." Violet ordered the AI.

"Security lockdown initiated." Vanellope's calm voice echoed through the earpiece.

"Good." Violet nodded. "That should hold them."

"Temporary." said Rider.

Violet looked at him, hope flickering in her eyes. "Rider, you and I both know that there isn't a cure."

Rider jumped down and sat Violet down before they walked. "Actually there is."

"What?. How?." Violet's voice was full of surprise and hope.

"Remember after we helped save One Nation with Akeem against a mineral metal energy enhanced giant size Zira, two years ago?." Rider looked at Violet.

Violet nodded, recalling the mission. "Yeah, what about it?."

"Well, after the fight, Miguel had assistance from Akeem's cousin to help him make a device to cure himself of me. He little did he know, I have heard and saw everything on what he is planning. As soon as he was about to use it, I took over and hid the device away from him. I gave it to someone that I can trust without any doubts outside of the team." explained Rider.

Violet's eyes grew wide. "Where is it?. Who do you trust outside of us?!."

"Akeem's wife." Rider spoke before stopping to face a large gate.

"Elsa?." Violet said before looking at where they were. It is a separate section of San Fransokyo with a nice large mansion-like building with fresh cut green grass and two trees on each side of the building. "The One Nation Embassy?. She's here and not in One Nation doing her job as queen?."

Rider nodded. "She's been staying here for a few months. She's been working on a few projects and she's the only one who knows about this." He looked around to make sure no one was following them. "Now let's move."

Upon jumping over the fence they went over to the building with no moment to waste. Violet pressed the doorbell and waited for a response. The door then opens to reveal it to be Elsa, who is in her winter themed dashiki attire with match sandals.

"Hey, snowflake." Rider smirked when using the nickname he gave her the moment they met. As usual, Elsa hated to be called that.

"Rider. What brings you two here in the middle of the night?." Elsa raised an eyebrow but the sight of Violet's urgent expression made her concern grow.

"Remember that device that I told you to keep hidden for me?." Rider spoke with seriousness.

Elsa nodded. "The one you said would be for a rainy day?."

"Yeah, it's pouring." Rider's expression grew grim. "We need it now."

Elsa nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. She stepped aside, allowing them to enter the embassy's foyer. "Follow me," she said, leading them through a hallway adorned with portraits of One Nation's historic lineages.

"I'm assuming that Anna is here with you as well, no?." asked Rider, when following the Queen of One Nation.

"Yes, she's in the lab." Elsa nodded. "But she's busy working on something. It's urgent, isn't it?."

"You could say that." Violet replied, her voice tight with concern. "We need that device."

Elsa nodded gravely. "This way."

Upon reaching the beyond high tech laboratory, Anna, who is wearing an Arendelle themed dashiki and currently munching on a Jimmy John's sub sandwich, looked to see Elsa and their guests.

"Hello, friends." Anna gave them her warm smile. "What brings you two here to the embassy?."

Violet didn't waste any time explaining the dire situation. "We need that device you're keeping for Rider. It's a matter of life and death for Team Future."

Anna's smile disappeared, replaced by a look of understanding. She nodded and went to a secure container, her movements swift and precise. "I knew this day might come," she murmured as she keyed in a code.

After entering the code the walls of the container opened up to reveal two hightech bright colored gloves. Rider went over to pick them up before giving them to Violet.

"This device will penetrate the corrupted cells in our friends bodies and destroy them, and turn them back to normal permanently." Rider spoke with seriousness.

Violet took the gloves with trembling hands. "But what about the side effects?."

"There isn't none." said Elsa. "Miguel ensured that."

Rider nodded. "They're designed to be safe for everyone. Just put them on and use them. They're calibrated to your power levels."

Violet slipped on the gloves, feeling the cool metal against her skin. She looked at Rider, who gave her a reassuring nod, before something crossed her mind. "Wait if these gloves can cure our friends then...what would happen to you if these were on you?."

Rider's eyes grew distant. "It's complicated."

"Tell me." Violet shot back.

Rider took a deep breath, his gaze locked onto the gleaming floor. "They will turn me into a pile of ash and kill me. I go bye-bye and Miguel gets to be in full control of himself and finally marry his cousin Rosa."

Violet's eyes went wide. "What?. No."

Rider nodded. "Yep. Don't forget, I was born by Miguel's punishment from La Muerte herself, after he had stolen that guitar from the grave of a false singer. Despite uncovering the truth in his time in the land of the Remember, grave robbing and disrespecting the dead on Día de los Muertos is still a highest crime that La Muerte will not look the other way."

"But Rider, you're our friend!." Violet protested. "We can't just let you..."

"Let's go, Violet." Rider stormed out.

Violet looks at Elsa and Anna with sadness. "My parents wanted a contingency plan for stopping Rider, and I have it in my hands. Rider is my best friend and I never bring myself into doing it. What should I do?."

Elsa looked at Violet and took her hands in her. "You must remember the oath of Team Future. To protect and serve. Sometimes, the most difficult choices are the ones we must make for the greater good."

"Besides, Rider has always been in control of his rage." said Anna, before eating her sandwich again.

Violet nodded, fighting back tears. "I know. He's been working so hard to keep it together."

"Let's go, Violet!." Rider called out.

Violet took one last look at Elsa and Anna before running after Rider, the gloves clutched tightly in her hands. She knew that the fate of Team Future rested on their shoulders, and she couldn't let her personal feelings get in the way of their mission. As they sprinted through the streets, she could feel the weight of the gloves, the gravity of their purpose heavy on her mind. Rider puts Violet on his back and then super jumps out of the area to head back to TF building. That is when the party had finally begun. As soon as they were closing into the building, the locked metal doors were busted out in heat and out came a bunch of heated angered Hiro, Penny, Wilbur, and Merida.

"Oh, boy." said Violet.

"Violet, find cover!." Rider threw her in an open dumpster before getting tackled by Merida.

Violet's heart was racing as she watched her friends attack Rider with a ferocity she had never seen before. The gloves were burning in her hands, reminding her of the choice she had to make. She knew that Rider would want her to save Team Future, no matter the cost. Rider was choke slamming Merida into the pavement before Penny hit him with a flagpole and sent him crashing into an ATM machine. Wilbur used his electric powers and the fire within to shoot a blast at Rider.

"You're going to regret this!." Rider shouted as he dodged Wilbur's electric attack.

Violet peeked out from the dumpster, her mind racing. The gloves felt like they were burning her skin with anticipation. She knew what she had to do. She had to save her friends, and make sure not to hit Rider with it. With a deep breath, she stepped out from her hiding spot and called upon her powers.

Her force fields formed around her fists, and she dashed towards the chaos, dodging Merida's sword swipes and Wilbur's fire blasts. The microbots' influence had taken over her friends completely, turning them into mindless, raging beings. Hiro and Penny were relentless in their attacks, their newfound abilities making them even more dangerous. Rider was going all in on the offense and fought all for them in such rage that sacred Violet.

Her heart hammered in her chest as she approached her friends, the gloves pulsing with energy. She had to be careful not to hit Rider with the beam from the gloves; it would be catastrophic. She aimed at Hiro first, the young genius's eyes flickering between his mechanical limbs and the rage-filled monster before him. She swung her arm, releasing a bubble of energy that encapsulated Hiro, separating him from the microbots' control. Then Rider grabbed hold of Merida to let Violet do the same to her.

The energy bubble hit Merida and her aggression subsided instantly. She blinked, looking around in confusion before her eyes landed on Rider. "What...what happened?.Why am I on the ground?. Ahhh, my stomach is hurting."

"Just sit down and rest." Rider sets her down.

The two then sees Penny and Wilbur ready to attack them but they quickly dodged it a few times before Rider told Violet to let them do a duo take down together.

"On three." Violet whispered to Rider.

"Got it." Rider nodded.

They both took a moment to catch their breath, assessing the situation. Hiro and Merida were now out of the fight, but Penny and Wilbur were still under the virus's control. Their eyes were still a fiery red, and their bodies were charged with uncontrollable energy. Violet gripped the gloves tightly, feeling the power surging within them.

"One, two..." she began to count.

"Three!" Rider shouted as they both launched towards Penny and Wilbur.

Violet's force fields grew around her fists, the gloves' energy synchronizing with her own. She threw a punch at Penny, and the beam shot out, wrapping around the young superheroine. The red in Penny's eyes faded, and she stumbled back, panting.

"Violet, watch out!" Rider shouted as Wilbur lunged at them with a snarl.

Violet barely had time to react, but Rider's quick reflexes allowed him to grab Wilbur mid-air, holding him at bay. The two struggled, Rider's skeletal form glowing with the effort of keeping Wilbur's flaming hands from reaching Violet. Wilbur's eyes searched for a way out, his body contorting with rage.

"Violet, now!." Rider yelled, his voice strained.

Violet didn't hesitate. She threw another energy bubble at Wilbur, and it hit him squarely in the chest. The fiery aura around him sizzled and faded away, leaving him gasping for air. Rider gently set him down on the ground, his eyes filled with relief. "You okay, buddy?."

"I...I think so." Wilbur coughed, looking down at his now-normal hands. "What happened?."

Violet rushed over to check on her boyfriend. "The gloves. That is the cure."

Rider nodded. "Here let me help you up."

"Thanks." said Wilbur.

As soon as the sun had risen, Violet's family came to pick up Callaghan to custody while Rider stood beside her. Helen looks at the damages before looking back at her rebellious independent daughter.

"Great work, homey." Helen spoke.

"Thanks, but all the credit goes to Rider. Right, Rider?." Violet looks at her best friend with a victory smirk.

Rider nodded, "Yep, all me. I deserve an apology from you, Mr. Incredible and those boys."

Helen sighed, her gaze softening as she regarded Violet and Rider. "Okay, Rider. You've earned it. I owe you an apology."

"For?..." Rider enjoying it.

Mr. Incredible looked at Rider with a mix of anger and respect before turning to his wife. "You know what, I'm going to take care of him." He grabbed Callaghan's arm, ready to drag him away.

"Thank you, Helen." Rider nodded, watching the two leave.

Dash turned to Violet. "I still don't know why you guys don't let me join your group."

Violet looked at Dash with a smile. "Simple. Six members is enough as is. Plus, I'm not dealing with your BS."

"Violet!." Dash feigned innocence.

"Bye, Dash." Violet waved her brother off.

"See ya." Dash called back, his speed leaving him as nothing but a blur in the early morning light and got in the family car.

Jack-Jack looked at his big sister. "And me?."

Violet chuckled, "You're more than enough trouble for the family as it is, little buddy."

"Bye, kid." Rider spoke when seeing the kid leave with his family. He looked at Violet. "You didn't tell them about the gloves?."

Violet removed her arms out from her back. "Why not?. They're not the boss of me anymore and plus, I never turn against any of my best friends."

Rider smirked. "True."

Violet nodded and looked at the gloves. "We should destroy these."

"Nah, let's keep it just in case that I one day do go berserk. I trust you to do what is right for me and everyone else to offer me." Rider helped Violet get on his back. "Let's go and hide it somewhere that only you and I know where it is."

Violet nodded solemnly as Rider took off into the sky, the city's early morning lights reflecting off their bodies as they soared above the skyscrapers. The cool breeze brushed against their faces, a stark contrast to the heated battle they had just survived. Violet couldn't help but feel good that Rider trusted her, knowing that she had the power to end his life in her hands. But she also knew that Elsa was right; sometimes, the hardest decisions were the ones that needed to be made for the sake of the greater good.

"After that let's go to Cicis Pizza and pig out." said Violet, before her stomach growled.

"Oh, you're hungry." Rider chuckled, "You know what, I'm starving too."

They flew through the city, the early morning traffic just beginning to stir. The plan was simple, find a secure place to hide the gloves and then grab some breakfast. Rider knew of a spot, an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of San Fransokyo that had been sealed off after a failed experiment by one of his old enemies. It was the perfect hideout, a place no one would think to look. Back at TF building, Hiro and the others were sitting in the living room taking in what had happened last night.

Merida rubbed her painful stomach. "Ah, man, I can't believe I ate everything in the kitchen. My stomach is about to pop. I truly respect Rider's hunger."

"All that rage and knowing who did the wrong." Wilbur shook his head. "It's intense."

Hiro sighed with a nod. "I don't know how Rider is able to go day to day without raging out."

Penny smiled. "Like Rider always says and last night proves that it's not a self proclaim. He is the mightiest thing in existence."
