one beautiful warm June morning mommy's boyfriend came to pick me up and said he had a question for me asked if not only could he marry mommy but also adopt Elsie and I, after thinking about all of this I said yes. He then asked me to help plan a gigantic surprise, he was going to ask mommy on her birthday in just 4 weeks. With my help he decided to ask the other adults for assistance with all the plans. He asked Susie's mommy to take us dress shopping. My auntie and Nona were assigned the task of making a full Italian meal. Zack's auntie was setting up and decorating a huge tent at the park. Everyone else also had jobs to do.

4 weeks later after an epic surprise, MOMMY SAID YES. This is such a special thing. They were married the week before I turned 6 at a beach in Florida along side my auntie Samantha and Zack's auntie Celeste. Yes it was a huge triple wedding. This was such a special adventure for all of our families. A few weeks later I had yet another sore throat and very sore ears, it turned out I had yet another double ear infection and strep throat. After I finished my antibiotics we saw a specialist who told mommy I needed tubes in my ears and to have my tonsils out. A week later I along with Zack Susie Kimi Chuckie and Alex got this done. We all needed a week to recover and missed 5 days of school.

The week after Halloween we were assigned a huge project to learn about and research our family trees. With some assistance from mommy I discovered on my daddies side I'm Italian and french while her side has German Scottish Irish and French Canadian. I also discovered that a lot of generations back on my mommies dads side we are related to Eleanor Roosevelt her husband Franklin and her Uncle Teddy both of whom are former presidents. On my daddies side there were no big names but I did discover his daddy wasn't the oldest.

The week before Christmas we received a letter my family was once again growing we were adopting another sister, would be coming from China some time in January after a long discussion we decided her name will be Ella Rose. Her first name after my new daddies mommy her middle name his oldest sisters first name both have passed away recently. His sister had special abilities like I do only hers were something I don't quite understand yet. During this time we also welcomed my Cousin Christine who is a year older then my mommy to be our nanny. She like Elsie has down syndrome, this is the first time she has ever been away from home living on her own. And not only that but her first job. This happened due to her mom my great auntie Clara going into assisted living an hour south of here. She needed a place to stay so daddy built a cottage in our back yard.

The 3rd week of January we welcomed not only Ella but Zack's new brother Ryan to our little group. Ella is missing her right arm at the elbow, she has what my mommy calls a lucky fin. I'm not exactly sure what this means but its no big deal. A few weeks later my grandma got an extremely huge surprise her oldest brother my great uncle Joey called her for the first time in over 40 years, his wife from how my mommy explained it wasn't exactly fond of our family as they didn't have a lot of money or something to that idea. She passed away 3 weeks ago and he is now in contact with him again. He is driving this way to meet us in just 6 short weeks so he can turn 80 the same week my grandma turns 69 he is nine years older then she is. We have decided to turn this into a giant reunion as he still has 4 sisters and a brother alive he is the oldest. And my mommy is one of 8 and they are all still living so everyone is coming here to celebrate.

We held the reunion on the ranch my Mommy grew up on yes she is from around here. We all had such an amazing time I saw people I haven't seen since I was super little. And saw tons of cousins including my cousin April who is only a day older then me. She was going to be coming to live here with us since her mommy my auntie Jean was having grownup problems. She would stay for several weeks while her mommy received help.
