Simba was battling his own thoughts, he couldn't help but feel guilty for what he did, but on the other side he knew that he had to knock the two humies out, a low rumble came from his throat.
Nala was carrying the european male on her back, and Kovu was carrying the Kenyan man on his, both were still out and showed no signs of, waking up.
"Honey, look i get what i did might have been wrong but, they could've killed us, why are we helping them?" He asked.
She turned to Simba and answered with honesty. "I don't think they are bad, they seemed pretty docile until we attacked."
"are you sure?" Simba asked.
"yes honey, i'm sure."
that being said, Simba, Nala, Kiara and Kovu headed to Rafiki's place.
Finally, after a long walk, The lions arrived at the large tree infront of them, Simba called out. "Rafiki! Are you there?!"
there was no response, only silence.
Simba decided to climb the tree, he used his agility and extracted claws to climb, once Simba reached the top, he started to look for any signs of Rafiki, but the old wise mandrill was nowhere to be seen...
"is he here?"
Simba was startled, but when he looked around he noticed it was just Nala, who had the young humie on her back, her tail wrapped around the humie's stomach to keep him secure.
"well, i have no idea where he is, he is possibly on another expedition, which means he'll be gone for at least a few days.."
Nala gestured for Kovu to take the other Humie up as well, Kovu used his paws and claws to climb, once he was up, Nala gestured for him to follow her.
there was a decent sized room, with two makeshift tables, made from wood and leaves, Nala gently slid the humie of her back, and placed it on the makeshift table, She gestured for Kovu to do the same, which he did.
Simba watched curiously as Nala walked towards another makeshift table, containing leaves and vines, attached to each other, She grabbed some pieces.
"i learned this from Rafiki." Nala comfirmed.
She then walkef up to the young humie that she carried, and slowly and carefully began wrapping the leaves and vines around it's wounds, using it as makeshift bandages, Simba watched in amazement.
Kiara climbed up as well, and looked on as her mother was treating the humie's wounds.
after a few minutes, she was finished with it, and she then turned to the humie that Kovu had carried, she gestured at Kovu to get more leaves and vines, Kovu nodded and grabbed some pieces and handed them over to Nala, she then began wrapping the pieces around the older humie's wounds, using it as makeshift bandages once more.
Simba was amazed by Nala's skills, it appeared that whatever Rafiki teached her, she definitely learned well.
Nala finally finished, and checked both humies for a pulse, she was relieved to hear that both were still breathing, and their hearts were beating, not too fast and not too slow.
"it'll take a few weeks for them to fully recover." Nala stated. "During that time, we will have to gain their trust."
-500 miles away-
Thomas, Math and another humie named Rose, were seated in an office building in Nairobi, the room had neon lights that changed colour, giving it a nice, nostalgic atmosphere.
The door suddenly opened, and a middle aged kenyan man, who lived in Nairobi his whole life, came up at the front, he spoke in a thick Swahili accent. "Habari my friends, i've been wanting to show you something urgent, it's very important."
The man grabbed a remote from the desk, and pressed a button, a Large Tv screen hanging on the wall came down, and turned on, showing a map of the earth, all of the world's countries.
The man pressed a button on the screen, and the countries disappeared, showing the map naturally, he then zoomed in on Africa, the large and beautiful continent, which was located under the european continent, surrounded by the south atlantic, and the pacific oceans.
The man pressed a button, and some parts of Africa lit up, in a bright red glow, some parts in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania were the ones that lit up the most.
"do you all understand what this map means?" The Kenyan man asked, the tree humies shook their heads.
The man nodded, and went on to press a few more buttons, before explaining.
"the red areas, are the places where a well known and symbolic species, known as lions live, the redder and more glowing the area, the more lions there are."
he then zoomed in on a specific part in Kenya, a yellow glow appeared.
"however, we have been dealing with attacks from a specific lion pride over here in the Savannah, the lions are considered very dangerous animals, and must be avoided if neccesary, if the lions attack, you may kill them in self defense, however, the lion is considered an endangered species, so please, don't kill unless neccesary, i don't want to live in a world without these majestic creatures, okay?"
the trio nodded.
the man nodded as well in approval. "Good, i'll be sending you more equipment and vechiles, my friends, dismissed."
