Psychopaths (SCREAM 1)
Chapter 14
Billy's POV
After we showered together I watched her as she dried her hair in the mirror. My eyes couldn't help but observe her curves. I'm pretty sure I've licked and tasted every inch of her yet I wanted more.
I can't help but think what It'd be like if she was like me.
Just imagining her killing someone gets me all hot. When I first chased her there was fear but she didn't go down easy. I weirdly wanted to do it again.
I loved her fight and I loved the chase and I loved it even more when I caught her but she didn't know the man in the mask was me. Lately, I'm starting to feel more like him than myself. The rituals are almost complete. Stu and I are so close to everything we've ever wanted... but is it what I want?
'Of course, it's what we want. The stronger we are the harder we'll be to kill'
"I don't like that look in your eyes," her voice brings me out of my thoughts. Is that fear in her eyes? She starts rubbing her wrists I noticed small almost faded bruises. Did I do that? Her breath hitches when I grab her wrists rubbing my thumb into the bruises lightly.
"You didn't do this," she mumbles pulling her hand from me. Her arms around my neck surprising me but I wrap my arms around her waist anyway. I look at my reflection in the mirror, as a smile crosses my lips at the thought of how good we look together. My reflection's smile turns sinister making my smile drop. I squint my eyes confused but it doesn't repeat my motions just smirks evilly at me before gripping Amara tighter as if to mock me.
"You sure you're okay?" I look down at Amara before looking back at my reflection. I was relieved when my movements were repeated. I nod before pulling her out of the bathroom. A reflection was supposed to be a mirror image of yourself.. but I didn't see me.
Stu snaps his fingers in my face, making me come out of my thoughts. "Hello?" I stared at him confused before looking around I was at his house. When did I get here I was just with Amara.
"When did I get here?"
Stu looks behind him before letting out a confused chuckle. "You've been here for an hour. We tied Jacob up in the cabin in the woods behind my house," I tried to remember the last hour but was drawing a blank.
"I asked you to take off your muddy boots and you told me to drop dead," he adds but I shrug.
"You said the blackouts would stop,"
"They are,"
"When? Cause they getting worse. We did the same ritual yet your symptoms are completely different from mine," I shake my head denying every word out of his mouth.
"We're getting what we want, will be invincible and stronger than ever,"
"You know what Amara would say to that?"
Nothing he said before I could answer "she'd be too busy throwing objects at us."
My mind flashed back to her being a moaning mess under me, I kissed and sucked all over her body she was most likely covered in hickeys. I couldn't get enough of her body, my thoughts made my jeans tightly uncomfortable.
Stu gives me a deadpan look "Are you seriously thinking about sex with her?"
"Other things too,"
Stu laughs giving me a look and saying he didn't believe me.
"Do you think Amara has killed before?" I ask quickly wanting to know his thoughts. Stu lips turned down.
"If I'm gonna answer I think we need a beer,"
I watch him as he grabs two beers from the fridge and then hands me one. I try to remain calm as he takes the slowest gulps in the world. I finally break when he takes a dramatic exhale after.
"Stu!"
"Okay calm down man.. honestly there's something darker about her but if I'm being honest she was never really much of an angel. Which is why I never understood your nickname for her." I shrug nodding that was true. When we were kids I thought she was pure evil.
"I don't know for sure though, I haven't gone near her as Ghostface since the last time," he says a little snappy.
"What's that supposed to mean," I say rubbing my forehead annoyed.
"Nothing" he grumbles.
" Everything has been going according to plan" I reply drinking my beer.
"Right... Like the night you were supposed to just scare her."
I freeze cocking my head to the side letting out a short laugh, "how?" he looks away not looking me in my eyes.
"Ohh... You watched?" I say leaning up and squinting my eyes at him.
"No, when you had your head between her legs I left," He says as if it was the most obvious thing.
I laughed not believing him right now, but his face remained serious.
"Nothing happened, I teased her a bit but I didn't go that far, "He gives me an emotionless face.
I wipe the bottom of my lip with my thumb, "She's quite submissive." Stu watches my thumb then rolls his eyes.
"What would you say to making her like us and bringing her in?"
Stu looks at me wide-eyed. "Are you insane? She will spiral then kick both our asses."
"You think she'd be that mad?" I say rubbing my neck.
"Billy she sleeps next to a baseball bat,"
"she's been through a lot of trauma," I say thinking deeply. She told me her dad sold her to someone to pay off her debts but the guy didn't end up getting her. I wanna know why.
"I need you to find something out for me." I. say making Stu look up at me. "She might not open up to me about it but she might open up to you," I say making him smile widely.
"Don't get too excited." I scold him punching him in his arm.
He rubs his arm but his smile doesn't fade. "Let her do all the talking."
"Got it. Am I going tonight?" He asks rubbing his hands together.
I was gonna say yes then I remember Amara said Sydney and Tatum were spending the night at her house tonight. "Not tonight," I tell him.
Stu frowns immediately, "why?"
"The girls are at her house." Stu groans and plops on the couch, he hangs upside down then tilts his head at me. "Think they found Alex yet?"
"Doubt it, I'd be all over the news," I say looking down at him.
"I wanna add one more name to the list," I tell him. Stu sits upright hanging on to my every word.
"Bryan Mullins," I state.
"Amara's dad?" Stu questions. no one has seen him in a year. "Where would we even begin to look?" I hit him on the back of his head.
"First we learn the story dummy, then find out when he is. Then we lead him to hear to us."
"Don't you think he'll come after A?" Stu asks rubbing the back of his head.
"Let him try." I smile darkly coming up with a new plan. "I think I know just the person to lead him to Woodsboro."
