Chapter 4 Raring to Go
Sean smirked as he was finishing the touches of his deck for the exams today.
"Hmph. I'm the only Duelist here who's from Greece and uses Ancient Greek Mythology cards. And now I got the hottest girl on campus as my girlfriend. My life has taken an interesting turn." Sean said before someone knocked. "Come in." Sean said as Alexis walked in making him grin.
"Ready for the exam?" Alexis asked.
"Yup. Though Honestly I prefer the duel exam considering it's more fun that way." Sean said making her grin as they left.
As they left they didn't See Crowler in the bushes.
"Let's see how well you handle the surprise I have in store for you little punk." Crowler said chuckling.
Later
After the written test was officially over thats when all hell broke loose.
Why?
A new shipment of rare cards had arrived and everyone stormed out to get as many as they could.
"Aren't you gonna get some?" Alexis asked her boyfriend.
"No. I got almost all the best cards in the world. Besides I prefer to keep my Greek cards." Sean said.
"I guess that makes sense. And I doubt theres a card I need for my deck." Alexis said before seeing Jaden and Syrus sleeping making them laugh.
"You know I know Jaden can take on almost anyone here but still. He really needs to at least try." Sean said.
"I don't know. I think where he lacks in school work he makes up for in his duels. Maybe you should duel him some time." Alexis said.
"Someone say duel?" Jaden asked waking up making them laugh.
"Dude you slept through everything." Sean said making Syrus scream.
"AW MAN! I BOMBED THE EXAM!" Syrus yelled.
"Oh relax. A written exam only means you know what to do on paper. A real duel keeps you on your toes." Sean said.
"He's right Sy. No big deal. Hey where is everyone?" Jaden asked.
"Oh another thing the new rare card shipmen arrived and everyone went to get them." Sean said making them yell before rushing off making them laugh some more.
"Well, at least they make things interesting." Alexis said making him snort before they left.
Later
Chazz was with his lackeys telling him that someone took all the rare cards in one go.
"You guys are pathetic. What about the Foreigner?" Chazz asked.
"He wasn't even there. Probably thinks he's hot stuff just because of those Greek Cards of his."
"He'll be put in his place soon enough when I duel him." Chazz said.
"I can arrange that."
All three saw some hooded figure.
"Hey thats the guy who took all the rare cards."
"Cards? Oh you mean these?" He said opening his cloak showing them all.
"Wait a minute? Crowler?" Chazz asked as he revealed himself.
"Very good Chazz. Now I'm here to help you. Use these rare cards to defeat that spoiled little brat Kruger in front of the whole school." Crowler said.
This made him smirk.
"Oh I will." Chazz said.
Later
"Well, this is a surprise." Sean said seeing he was dueling Chazz.
"Well, you always talk a big game so I decided to put you up against someone who's top of the class for the first year." Crowler said.
'Meaning he wants to see me get taken down by someone he thinks has the best chance.' Sean said seeing his game.
"Whatever get off the field lady." Sean said making him growl in rage as others laughed.
"I AM MAN YOU BRAT!" Crowler yelled.
"Could have fooled me with those looks." Sean said making him seethe as he left.
"You know he's just asking for trouble whenever he does that." Jasmine said to Alexis who giggled.
"Oh believe me I know. But then again thats just who he is." Alexis said.
"Let's duel." Both yelled as their life points went up to 4000.
"I'll start things off." Sean said drawing his cards before smirking. "I play Spartan Defender in Defense mode." Sean said as a Spartan with a large Golden Shield appeared.

"And I'll place two cards face down." Sean said.
"Don't think for a second that pathetic soldier from your backwater home is gonna stop me freak." Chazz said making him glare.
"Just make your move fuck face." Sean said making him growl as he drew his cards.
'Appreciate the rare card, Crowler.' Chazz said.
"Fresh off the presses, Meet Magical Mallet. It lets me..." Chazz tried to say.
"Do you ever shut up?" Sean asked making him growl. "I know what it does. Now you can put back the cards you don't want in your hand and reshuffle for better cards." Sean said. What do you take me for? Some amateur?" Sean asked amused.
"From where your from I would expect so." Chazz said making him growl. "Now that I got a new hand I can play it again." Chazz said making Sean frown.
'I think I know what happened to all the rare cards from this morning.' Sean said looking up where Crowler was who looked smug. 'Arrogant fuck head.' Sean said.
"Now I can play this. V-Tiger Jet." Chazz said as it appeared.

"Let's see how your lost relics do against the modern age." Chazz said.
"Something about this doesn't feel right. Where did Chazz get these cards." Jasmine asked.
"I have a pretty good idea." Alexis said looking at Crowler.
"Is he that desperate to pull one over him?" Mindy asked.
"He's a man child who hates being talked down to. So yeah." Alexis said watching the duel.
"Next I play frontline base. It lets me summon another level four or below monster this turn." Chazz said.
"You mean Union monsters." Sean said making him grin.
"Union monsters?" Jaden asked.
"They're monsters that can combine without fusion magic cards. They're rare but not unheard of." Bastion said.
"I wonder if Sean has any in his deck." Jaden said.
'Well, there are Greek Mythology monsters that are said to work well together. Though I don't think any of them fall into those categories.' Bastion said though curious if he did.
"I play W-Wing Catapult in attack mode." Chazz said as another machine appeared.

"And now I combine them to make VW-Tiger catapult." Chazz said as they combined to make a more powerful monster

"And best of all it lets me switch your monster from defense to Attack mode. Now go! Blast that forgotten trash!" Chazz yelled as his monster attacked.
Only for Defender to vanish.
"What the?" Chazz yelled before Assassin of Courage appeared before slashing it to nothing costing him 300 life points.
"You really should pay more attention to the field." Sean said as his first face down was revealed. "Assassin Intervention. Basically it let me swap my Defender for a stronger monster as long as the attack points were lower than the defense points." Sean said making him growl in rage. "Of course now I can't attack you since I played that so I'll just draw my card and play my other face down. Pot of greed which lets me draw two more cards." Sean said drawing them and smirked. "I end things there." Sean said.
"Little brat." Crowler said annoyed.
"My turn and I play my own pot of Greed which lets me draw two cards then I play Graceful charity to draw three and discard two." Chazz said drawing his card before smirking. I play Monster reborn to bring my monster back then I play X-Head cannon." Chazz said as it appeared.

"And finally I play call of the Haunted. To bring back Y Dragon head." Chazz said as his final monster appeared.

"Oh no thats not good." Alexis said.
"And now I combine them to make XYZ Dragon Cannon." Chazz said as they combined.

"But I'm not done. I combine both of them to make the VWXYZ dragon catapult cannon!" Chazz yelled shocking everyone as this massive machine appeared.

"And his special ability lets me destroy your Assassin automatically." Chazz said as she vanished making Sean raise an eyebrow. "NOW BLAST HIM!" Chazz yelled as Sean lost 3000 life points making Chazz laugh like crazy. "How does it feel to be put in your place freak?" Chazz asked mocking him.
Sean however just smirked at him which unnerved him.
"My go." Sean said.
"How can he stay so calm like that?" Syrus asked.
"Clearly he has some plan in store for Chazz. Something he knows he can bait him into due to his pride and Ego." Bastion said.
"I play...Assassin's daughter in attack mode." Sean said as a little girl at the age of five appeared in little robes with a small dagger in hand.

This made all the girls gush seeing this.
"She's so cute!" Mindy yelled holding her cheeks.
"Why would he play that?" Jasmine asked.
"HA! Thats the best you can do? I knew it. You beating Crowler was all luck. Now Attack that brat!" Chazz yelled as his monster blasted at her.
Only for Assassin of Order to appear and blocked the attack.
"WHAT!" Chazz yelled in shock.
"You really don't understand what it means to be a parent do you?" Sean asked amused.
"But...You didn't have any spell or trap cards on the field!" Chazz yelled.
"I didn't need to. I knew you would attack her without using your special ability due your ego and pride. When Assassin's daughter is attacked or destroyed by a special ability her father comes out to the field and his attack points are doubled when he does." Sean said as he now had 6000 attack points glaring at Chazz.
"OH NO!" Chazz yelled in shock.
"NOW GO! BRUTAL SLASH!" Sean yelled as his Assassin slashed it in half making Chazz lose 3000 life points making him gasp. "And don't forget the little lady." Sean said as she threw her dagger right at his chest making Chazz yell as he lost the duel.
Sean smirked as the school applauded before approaching him.
"Looks like I win. How's it feel knowing a foreigner beat you despite all the rare cards Crowler gave you just to beat me." Sean said shocking them both and the whole school. "Think I didn't notice?" Sean said.
"Crowler." Sheppard said making him freeze and looked real nervous.
"YOU PUNK!" Chazz yelled pouncing on him much to his surprise as they fell down as Chazz grabbed him by the hood.
"Thats quite enough!" Sheppard yelled as Chazz pulled Sean's hood off and gasped seeing his scarred face.
"What the?" Chazz yelled before Sean punched him off hard making him yell as Sean growled getting it back as people looked at him in shock.
Sean frowned seeing the looks of confusion, sympathy, horror and so on as security restrained Chazz.
"What is this your home's way of showing the freaks you are?" Chazz asked making him growl before punching him so hard he actually went flying a few feet shocking everyone as Chazz had a huge bruise on his face.
"For the record Someone I knew long ago did this to me for sick cruelty out of jealousy for what my mother had that he couldn't." Sean said putting his hood back on and left.
"Ahem." Shephard said to Crowler who looked real nervous now.
"I didn't make him do that." Crowler said.
"But you did cause it. Crowler I'm deducting your pay by half for the rest of the school year." Sheppard said shocking him.
"But...I didn't expose him like that...But why does he have all those scars? They look...Old." Crowler said.
"They are old. If you had bothered to actually read his file like everyone else you would know he had it very rough after his parents died in a tragic accident. And you make things worse for him due to your ego." Sheppard said leaving.
Later
Sean growled as he sat in his room before Alexis walked in.
"You ok?" Alexis asked.
"What do you think?" Sean asked as she sat down holding his hand making him sigh.
"Sean what happened? Who gave those scars?" Alexis asked making him frown.
"My uncle did." Sean said shocking her. "My mother's older brother. He was always Jealous of her because she got recognition for everything she did. He on the other hand just expected it from everyone but he didn't do anything truly worth recognition as she did for charity work and the likes. And when she married my dad who was very rich and powerful it made him furious. He lashed out saying she didn't deserve what she had." Sean said.
"I take it she didn't like that?" Alexis asked.
"She didn't realize he felt that way about her and tried calming him down but he just tried to attack her till my Dad beat him to a pulp. Then they died when I was 6. He took all his frustrations out on me for a couple weeks when he was assigned as my legal guardian till he was caught and put in prison for life. I've never forgotten what he's done to me." Sean said as she held his face making him sigh as she held him close.
"Come on. Let's go relax." Alexis said leading him away.
Later
Sean was at the beach with Alexis and her friends as he was in the water with a thoughtful look on his face.
'Now I gotta worry about the fact is those looks like I got back home.' Sean said before feeling lighter making him blink before looking down as Jasmine came up.
"Oh Kruger?" Jasmine sang holding up his trunks making Alexis and Mindy blush.
"Really?" Sean asked making her stick her tongue out.
"I had to do something to get you out of your gloomy thoughts." Jasmine said making him smirk before diving down. "You can't just hide...Eh?" Jasmine asked feeling lighter as he came up with her bottoms and top.
"What comes around goes around." Alexis said as Jasmine shrieked covering herself.
"You brought this on yourself." Sean said.
"GIVE IT BACK RIGHT NOW!" Jasmine screamed.
"Mine first." Sean said as she tossed his shorts before he tossed her top and bottoms making her hurry putting them back on as Alexis and Mindy giggled.
"He doesn't play around does he?" Mindy asked.
"Nope." Alexis said.
"I can't believe you did that." Jasmine said tying her top before yelping as he got under her standing up with her on his shoulders.
"You started it. If you fight dirty you expect me to do the same. Spartans live for that shit." Sean said making her sigh but smiled.
Alexis smiled seeing him enjoying himself forgetting what Chazz did already.
Author's note: I really loved this episode seeing Chazz get put in his place despite the unfair advantage Crowler gave him. Now Next Chapter is gonna be really deadly for we head into a Death Duel.
