Psychopaths (SCREAM 3)

Chapter 1

"Megan, Is Eric Freeman here yet? I have to get home soon," DR. Phillis reminds his therapist. He grows confused when she doesn't answer, 'wasn't she just there?' he thought. a knock on the door makes him jump, he adjusts his glasses feeling silly.

"Come in,"

A broad man who he assumes is Eric Freeman comes in sitting down on the couch, First thing he noticed about the man was that he was studying him and his aura reeked of danger. He stake out his clipboard sitting in the chair in front of him.

"Eric Freeman, correct?" he asks the man whose eyes narrow at him.

"Yeah, why else would I be here?" Billy Loomis lies through his teeth flexing his fingers over the back of the couch, Eric Freeman is the dead man in the parking lot whom he stabbed through the ear.

"So what made you come in tonight?" he asks, pen in hand ready.

He stands taking a deep breath before starting his rant "Well the love of my life left me and took our kids, possibly called the police on me and ran away that was five years ago but the pain is so damn fresh and I'm so fucking angry with her," his fists clenches as he takes a few breathes.

"I've known her most of my life, I told her not to leave me I warned her what would happen if she took my kids from me,"

"Well you said possibly, is it possible you don't know for sure she did it?" his head snaps to the doctor narrowing his eyes.

"So your on his fucking side too?"

"Who's side?"

Billy thinks for a moment before answering, "her other boyfriend, she has strong feelings for both of us, even though I had her first I was gonna make her choose, but " he pauses looking away from the doctor for a moment, "He's my best friend, I've known him just as long as her and he's loyal and when were all together it feels right but he's so fucking annoying,"

"Why do you insult me so?" Another man pops up startling the doctor, he looks around confused by where he came from, there was only one door to get into this room and he did not come through it. He seemed more playful but his aura was just as darker as the other man.

"Sir, who are you and how did you get in here?" the doctor asks as Stu gets comfortable on the couch next to Billy who rolls his eyes at him in annoyance.

"He's the other guy,"

The doctor stares at Stu for a long moment, "You look very familiar," he tells him trying to think where he's seen him before. Since Billy had walked into the room he had a sense of familiarity, it's even stronger with the other man there.

The doctor adjusts his glasses, as Stu leans in close to Billy leaning on him, "What took you so long?" he asks looking at him.

"I was handling something, Why did you miss me?" Stu asks his voice, teasing him.

"You fucking wish,"

"Yeah I do, would it be so hard to just say the words?" he leans, Billy leans in closer coaxing a look of surprise from Stu until he here's his next words.

"I'd rather shove glass into my eyes," he deadpans, Stu frowns at him, the doctor clears his throat handing Stu a card.

"I think couple's counseling would suit you guys," Stu takes the card while Billy angrily stands up fists clenched, Stu pats his head telling him to calm down but he only seems to get angrier.

"We're not a fucking couple," the doctors nods resisting the urge to roll his eyes.

"You should also take the woman with you, and make sure you guys communicate, miscommunication is a big obstacle when it comes to relationships," the doctor explains, Stu nods along actually interested while Billy paces.

"See he's saying we should talk to her, hear her out instead of getting stab happy," the doctor pauses writing his notes. 'Did he just say stab?' he thought, immediately the memories of watching Stab with his wife a month ago, they mentioned at the end it was based on two living serial killers.

It just dawned on him that two serial killers are sitting across from him

"He's a stab first, ask questions later kind of guy," Stu explains like it's normal, the doctor awkwardly nods, trying to keep his heartbeat calm and remain neutral, but by the way Billy's haunting eyes snapped to him and Stu suddenly became tense.

They know, he knows.

"So you know who we are now," Billy states, narrowing his eyes at him, the doctor slowly nods.

"And you know that, we will kill you if you so much as twitch toward that phone," Stu warns him, pulling a knife out his long sleeve. The doctor stares at the knife in pure terror.

"Oh don't worry, it's an emotion support knife," he teases showing it off to the doctor like it's precious.

"Here's how this is gonna go, I'm gonna ask you questions about a woman, who I know was your patient, her name is Amara Carpenter," realization crosses the doctors features he remembers the edgy girl who came a few weeks at a time, she had a lot of anger and problems that he tried to solve but that was a year ago

"Amara hasn't come here in months, ever since that movie came out people recognized her as the character it was based off of, she kept drawing crowds, last time we spoke she said she'd be moving to the last place anyone would expect but I'm not sure where she moved, she was accompanied by her blond friend," he finishes his rant breathing heavily, Stu scratches his head.

"Honestly thought you wouldn't tell us," he says in a bored tone, he wanted to kill him slowly.

"I don't wanna lose my life, here I'll give you her file," he urges getting up from his seat to his desk, he pulls out the file but goes to press an emergency button, before he can, Stu stabs him through the hand.

"Bad Doc," he scolds, his eyes glowing an orange hue, he wanted blood red eyes like Billy but he explained it's a genetic bloodline thing.

"Ahhhhhhh, fuck," he screams in pain, "I was rooting for you doctor, all you had to do was bring the file," Billy ignores his cries snatching the file from the doctors other hand. Billy freezes his heart in agony as he looks through the file, drawings left behind by his children, some nice, some disturbing.

"Child B has a lack of empathy for others, behavior is too impulsive, and controls others around him with charm, aggression, and charisma. Shows a tendency toward physical violence and fights, wouldn't recommend this child around other children. Behavior possible fix with electric shock therapy." Billy reads aloud before squinting his eyes at the doctor.

"This about my fucking son?!" he yells, his eyes glowing a dangerous red, the doctor cowers back leaning his body over his injured hand. Stu twists the knife in his hand making him scream out.

"Answer him," Stu demands before roughly yanking out the knife, he gasps out in pain a silent groan leaving him, he angrily turns to Billy.

"Yes, I've never met a child so evil in my life, "he spits at Billy.

"He's five,"

"That doesn't matter, he's shown signs of being a sociopath early," Billy looks at him in disgust clenching his fists tight.

"I can see why your son is the way he is now, that boy's never gonna be normal and it's all your fault," he berates at Billy who's jaw clenches his eyes go normal just for a moment, he cocks his head at him before his eyes find Stu, who gestures to him to just kill him.

A smirk crosses his lips before his fist connects with the doctors jaw, Billy smiles at the sound of his bones cracking, the doctor kneels at his feet ready to beg for mercy that wasn't gonna be given, he grabs the back of his head stabbing the doctors face through his knife all the way to the hilt, he holds it there until the he goes motionless.

"Damn that was hot," Stu compliments using his thumb to wipe some blood off Billy's cheek, he moves his face away annoyed but Stu only smiles licking the blood off his thumb.

"Don't start with me," Billy says boredly, pushing the man off of his knife.

"Fine," Stu notices Billy still staring down at the man, he grabs his chin turning his head to him "Don't listen to him about Warren, he's gonna be fine.

"Why do you keep touching me?" he questions annoyed smacking his hand away.

"Do you hate it?" he cocks his head trying to catch his eyes but he pushes him back suddenly not liking how close he was.

"I killed my mom in front of him, I thought he was asleep but he was wide awake when I turned around," he tells him, Stu inhales sharply.

"Does A know about this?" Billy shakes his head making Stu groan in frustration. "Great more secrets, Oh man I can feel her shoe now," he rubs his head remembering his past trauma of objects she threw at him

"We're done here," Billy grumbles, hitting Stu with his shoulder on the way out, he huffs, then follows after him, they both stop in their tracks when they see a news clip about Cotton being in the hospital in critical condition.

"Shit,"

"I know, I can't believe someone got to him before I did," Billy grumbles in hatred, Cotton was second on his hit list.

"You cannot kill her father, not after everything we put her through, it will break her and I don't want to see her like that," Stu tells him in a serious tone.

"I'll think about it, but knowing her she'll most likely be with Cotton," Stu nods in agreement stepping over the dead receptionist whose neck he snapped earlier.

"Let's go,"

MEANWHILE

Roman walks Amara, Tatum and the twins to their temporary condo in the city, he was able to convince her to stay for at least a two weeks, mostly to check in on her father. Once inside the twins run to the windows looking at the view of the city.

"Awesome view right?"

"We can;t thank you enough for this," Tatum says excitedly looking around, she squeals when she sees a stocked mini bar.

"So Roman Bridger the movie producer," Amara teases him, making him blush. "Yeah, I got back in contact with my adoptive dad, he said I could help produce the second movie,it is pretty cool," he brags trying to step closer to Amara, but Warren comes between them glaring up at Roman.

"Roman this is Warren," she introduces nervously, Roman reaches out a hand for him to shake but Warren doesn't even acknowledge it, he glares at him a few more seconds before walking away.

"I'm sorry about him he doesn't like new people,"

"It's fine, he'll warm up to me," he studies her, happy to finally see her again. He hoped he could change her mind about being with him, he'll show her that they were meant to be together. Roman's smile drops when he notices a familiar pendant around her neck.

"Where did you get that?" he asks, trying to keep his voice calm.

She thinks for a moment trying to remember where she got it but was drawing a blank, "I'm not sure," her words are hesitant.

"Tatum, are you guys gonna be alright while we go visit my dad?"

Tatum waves her off looking through the expensive bottles of wine. "Go, just call and keep me updated," she tosses her the keys.

Amara gives the twins giant hugs, Warren's eyes find Roman's, he couldn't lie that the little boy's stare was uncomfortable, Roman was the first to look away.

Amara could barely hold back tears as she stared at her injured father in the hospital bed, there's so many things she wished she would've told him, especially that she still loved him no matter what.

The police still don't know who did it but they know it was someone in a ghostface mask, rumors are spreading about the movie canceling since it's possible the actors are targets but since he was the only victim they couldn't confirm.

When the doctors take Amara out of the room to tell her there's a chance he might not make it, Roman holds her waist coaxing her to breathe. "Come on we've been here for an hour, I wanna show you my set,"

"I shouldn't leave him,"

"Will come back Amara," he promises, she hesitates before deciding it probably would be best to get some air. Before she leaves she groans in pain gripping her head as memories that aren't hers attack her mind.

"Amara?" Roman tries to touch her but she shoots back away from him, fear flowing through her veins like wildfire, only when she realizes it's Roman does she calm down. The past few weeks she's been plagued with visions that felt real like it was happening to her at that very moment.

"I'm fine," she lies.
