7. Chapter 7 Les infantes terribles

Quiz forest, Japari park in the morning

We pick up right were we left off. With Kira Yamato, Athrun Zala, and Shinn Asuka facing down the gun-barrels of Professor Mimi and her assistant Konoha. Athrun in a panic screams out that the has diplomatic immunity only for Kira to remind him that his parents are dead. Shinn meanwhile is seemingly resigned to his fate. Zoning out his seniors bickering. That is when the orange and white fighter jet transformed into a mobile suit and landed next to them all. Gundam Harute another gundam from Celestial being. A sleek and angular design much slimmer than your typical Gundam. With a distinctive head unit composed of a visored face with four fins. And the wing cannons which are enormous being almost twice as tall as the suit itself. Now training a sword rifle on the owl duo. "Stop right there!" A male voice shouted from the gundam. "Allelujah!" With the trio being relieved at the rescue. Then voice of a young woman commented. "Are those two girls cosplayers?" The owls state in unison. "We are Friends!" Leaving the pair silent as Serval finally shows up and starts gushing about the giant robot.

A short time and diffusion of conflict later. Everyone is circled around a campfire as Kira makes another pot of curry alongside the Japari staple food of Japari buns. Everyone is enjoying it much to Kira's smug pride. While the pilots of the Harute. Allelujah Haptism, a human male of Kazakhstan descent with monochromatic eyes and long dark green hair tied into a small ponytail with a singular long bang in the middle and Marie Parfacy, a female human with long flowing white hair and golden eyes who looks tiny compared to the man. They both have similar pilot suits, orange and red respectively, With the latter hugging and petting a confused Serval wearing a blissful expression that shocks the former.

Everyone gets caught up to speed by the owl professor. "Essentially the caverns have been attacked by Celliens and you were sent here by the Friends who live there. As for why those Gundams can kill Celliens without saltwater or Sparkle... (visible silence) Well... (visible silence) It just works so don't worry about it. (everyone except Marie and Serval falls over.) Anyways if anything you should be more concerned about your weapons. Since Celliens are born from sandstar touching inanimate objects. Everyone now takes notices as Konoha continues her explanation in between bites of curry eating with her mouth full. "Many Celliens were actually born from the weaponry used to pacify Japari park long ago." Both owls then gaze upon several broken down Flicky's, yellow walking robots modified with plasma cannons and short range vulcans. The ZAFT groups notices both it's similarity with the Big Dog Cellien which Serval points out. And that they share a Japari bus emblem with the letters JRST on the bottom. Serval also notes that Fennec and Raccoon used to be part of the group before the par collapsed and that they are as old as the owls. Which is several millennia old.

Marie then breaks the tone with a simple statement. "Allelujah, i'm taking her home with me." Allelujah freaks out, Serval is confused, and everyone else laughs.

The morning after the group splits up with Allelujah finally managing to pry Serval of Marie and were readying the Harute. The ZAFT group was back on the train ready to leave. The owls were seeing them off with some Safari buns. "Anyways, i'm sure that the people in the caverns will be alright. After all the other Gundam meisters are here too." Athrun smiles noting that its good to have allies here and then asks them to help find Lalah and Tails doll. "Sure thing. Let's go Marie." Marie pouts angrily as she follows Allelujah. "But Serval..." As the Gundam takes off the ZAFT trio is given parting words by the professor. "Head to Midori if you wish to learn the location of your friends." Mimi adds. "Midori is most wise. It watches over all of Japari park ever since the four gods vanished. It is almost as wise as us." "Yes, we are very wise." The train takes off as everyone says their goodbyes leaving the owls alone. The duo looks at the burnt down forest and remark that they need to leave before the Celliens get to them.

Setsuna returned to the caverns in his 00 alongside Raccoon and Fennec when they are met by Gundam Raphael Dominions and its pilot Tieria Erde. An Innovade, or an artificial humanoid terminal designed to work in tandem with VEDA. Celestial being's master computer. Tieria himself is a young looking androgynous man with purple hair in a bob cut, pale skin, glasses, and a serious and a stern demeanor with a purple pilot suit. The Dominions is a heavy assault suit and the ground variant of the original Raphael. A slender but blocky purple Gundam wielding a massive backpack that is not good in gravity. Therefore the Dominions has better armor distribution, two back mounted beam bazookas and a handheld one. Raccoon and Fennec are horrified at the destruction at least until a few surviving Friends come out of the woodwork around the Raphael alongside Tieria.

"Setsuna, you're alright as well." Tieria remarks in a concerned tone. "Yes, and the others?" "Allelujah and Marie are fine. But no one has found Lockon yet." The two are then updated by Allelujah about everything they found. With the other meisters agreeing to split up once more. Setsuna heads off to find Lalah and Tails doll all the while Tieria escorts the surviving Friends to Midori alongside Raccoon and Fennec. Who have taken a liking to riding the Gundams with Raccoon being especially appreciative about the air conditioner. "To adventure nano da!" "You sure bounce back easily Arai-san."

Lockon Stratos, an human male older than Setsuna and Allelujah wakes up in a strange white ship. White walls, white floors, and white railings. Pulling himself off he combs away his brown curled hair and dusting off his green Celestial being pilot suit. He begins to look around the area. "First I need to find my Zabanya, then I need to get my bearings straight. I know that this isn't heaven otherwise mom, dad, Amy, and Anew would be here. Heh, wouldn't it be funny if I met Neil here. Having to get himself killed like that." The Irishman then hears the voices of a group of girls and follows where he sees his crashed Zabanya alongside three red-haired women messing around with a spherical orange robit named Haro. And a young yet tired young man with scruffy brown hair, a lab coat, and simple dark green clothing holding a strange glowing green leaf. The four notice Lockon with the man greeting him with. "More guests huh? Anyways my name is Wakaba."

Chapter 7: Les infantes terribles

Six months have passed since the universe was returned to normal thanks to the actions of the Resistance. Still the scars of Spiral island remain. With many having died and coming back to life. After these events the IFS has began its oppressive crackdown in order to end any opposition to their rule. This has led to an attempt at an united separatist movement to either stop or secede from the IFS. It is the year Third history 8932. The three galaxies that were once united under the banner of liberation from evil have now become the oppressors. Civil war is threatening to tear worlds apart. And the belief that the empire will collapse is common.

But this is another story...

Third history, 8924:

Vanilla the rabbit was being scanned by security as she entered a secure building located in Scrap brain zone. A coastal town in the past that has been hurriedly modified into a military production facility with aid of several of Chu-nan's houses. Beneath street 1313 lies a two story building holding a large underground complex that reaches to Labyrinth zone. The infamous Les infantes terribles. At this point in time it was nothing more than a rumor. With people speaking about it whispers lest they be spirited away by the Ixian mages. Which is true as Vanilla meets with the leaders of the project. Walter Naugus the at time court wizard and supervisor of the facility. And his apprentice, an arrogant mobian skunk with a sizable beard and purple and green jacket, shoes, and gloves alongside an utility belt named Geoffrey St,John who merely sneered at her as Walter spoke up. "You're late. Don't forget, you belong to us now. And you will provide results. Otherwise you will suffer the same fate as your husband and daughter." Reminding Vanilla on how her family was killed by Geoffrey when her husband stumbled into the project. The duo leave as Vanilla falls further into despair.

The Ixian mages enter another room where they are met by Dr. Starline. A flamboyant white furred platypus with classy purple and gold clothing, distinctive black gloves and shoes with spurs and a condescending sneer. "So Starline how are the modifications?" Naugus comments as they all look at a pair of pods where two children, one a Tenrec girl and a Fennec boy, both of whom seems to be getting injected with something. "Perfectly sir. The carbon retrovirus is modifying them and soon they will be able to use esper powers. Still, I thought you Ixians hated technology?" "We do Starline. But this is all worth it in order to outdo Ivo." Geoffrey laughs and comments in a very smug and condescending manner. "Oh yes, the robotizer. He was sent running after all those prisoners of war kept exploding. Even King Maximilian couldn't keep that quiet." "Robotnik is an idiot." Starline added. "Robotnik was always obsessed with machines and super weapons. I mean the Death egg?! That was utterly insane and impractical! For starters, there is not enough resources in Mobius to build a moon sized battle station even if you strip mine the entire world. Not the mention the labor costs and the sheer destructiveness of having two moons in orbit. But the metal virus is different. Capable of modifying the nanotechnology used to create our current forms so long ago."

Geoffrey then leaves with Naugus asking if his apprentice will attempt to seduce the princess. The skunk smiles in confirmation as he leaves. Starline remarks. "Isn't the princess like eight or something?" Naugus simply bemoans with a. "Creeps me the fuck out."

Vanilla meanwhile was looking after the other children. Including a younger Tails, Maw, and Cream. With the latter one clamping on Vannila's thigh as Cheese looks on in concern. Calming her down and drying her tears Vanilla bends down to hug the little girl. Maw then bitterly notes that they are being treated like tools. Tails looks away and comments. "At least it's not outside. Where all the bullies are..." Maw looks at Tails with frustration scolding him for his whining. "I can't believe you are putting up with this!" Cream then starts crying as Vanilla looks on with sorrow.

Sometime later Vanilla meets Starline who is testing out Surge and Kit. The platypus moans and openly complains. "I'm too busy to deal with your morality speeches." The tired rabbit asks in frustration. "Children are suffering and all you care about is your weapons!" "Well, it won't matter soon enough. After all, now that the king approved the deployment of both SLN-001 and 002. The children will be disposed of." Vanilla is horrified at the revelation demanding to know if the council knows about this. Only for Starline to respond in the same uncaring deadpan tone he always has. "The council doesn't know shit. They don't care either that the war was built on false pretenses. Anyways I suggest your neck down and say goodbye to your students. Otherwise Naugus will come for you just like he did to that Beauregard guy and his kid. What was her name again, Bunnie or something?" "Joseph Mengele Starlight!" Vanilla then storms out in fury while an uncaring simply quips. "That's Doctor Joseph Mengele Starlight to you!"

Alone and desperate Vanilla was slumped in a chair on the verge of tears when Cream the rabbit showed up. "Are you alright mother?" The little rabbit then rushes to comfort Vanilla who becomes filled with determination. "Yes, that's right. I am this child's mother. I have to protect her." She then looked at Cream and asked. "Say, would you like to become my daughter after we leave this place?" Cream's eyes light up with joy as she says yes as Vanilla plans her next move.

Later that night she escapes the facility carrying a large purse and wearing a hood. Sneaking across the back alleys of the city trying to find the apartment of Bob Beakley in the outskirts of town. After entering a long abandoned apartment building. Falling apart from years of neglect, she climbs up onto the fifth floor and enters the apartment. Only to find the penguins severed and rotting head being hung by meat hooks from the ceiling. Vanilla steps back and vomits as armed Acorn guards surround her. Readying their guns while their leader is carrying a bloody fireman's axe like used to decapitate Bob with. "Fuck them up! I need to get my billhook on!" The guards then ready the guns before their drivers all shut down revealing their true forms before the guys on the back gets cut to pieces before Vanilla is pressed down onto the floor by a mysterious figure who dismembers and kills the gunmen. Then the ax wielder tries to perform an overhead strike who gets stopped by the figure who cuts cleanly thru the ax blade before performing his overhead slash which bisects their leader. Leaving the entire room a bloodied mess and leaving Vanilla crapping herself. Not helped by the figure, now revealed to be Kagemusha points his sword at her asking what is going on.

Sometime later after Vanilla explains everything. Kagemusha tells her to leave, something that she refuses to do. Telling the mysterious man that she needed to rescue her children. Kagemusha puts away the sword and then tells the rabbit to come along. As Vanilla follows he explains the plan. In which Kagemusha would serve as a distraction while she rescues the children. While Vanilla was concerned about her mysterious new ally's well being. The latter simply told the former to not worry about it as the two spread out. Kagemusha busting in from the front door, crushing an unlucky guard with said door, and leaving no survivors while saying. "SIRI open playlist, music to mass murder by."

Ost, Carnage rules, Green Jelly

Kagemusha smiles from behind his mask as he begins to slice apart the armed guards while singing the lyrics. "CARNAGE RULES!" Vanilla meanwhile heads inside one of the many secret passages used to escape. At this point researchers and staff were escaping in droves. Only to be gunned down by Sumeragi troopers from their vantage points. With the closest one giving a thumbs up to Vanilla as she entered the facility.

Meanwhile in Castle Acorn. The twenty year old Geoffrey was trying, and failing to court the eleven year old Princess Sally. Attempting to court her with flowers, expensive dresses, a human slave, and an awkward mating dance. Sally simply ignored all that, focusing on her studies and fiddling with Nicole's terminal. "What you're doing is illegal Geoffrey." The skunk simply scoffs noting. As long as the king is charge I can do whatever the hell I please. Geoffrey then uses his smoke powers to get behind the princess and start feeling her up against her will. Leaving the squirrel terrified and pushing him away into the desk. Geoffrey becomes furious and face slaps the Princess, only being stopped by his phone which he picks up. "I am trying to my get my rocks off master." A furious Naugus screams so loud that even Sally can hear it. "I don't care you fucking pedophile! We're under attack now get back here!" Geoffrey laughs at the situation and hangs up. He then notices that Sally fled. Leading the skunk to smirk and give chase like the sexual predator he is.

Back at the base Naugus smashes his phone in frustration cursing his apprentices name. Starlight who is hearing all of this activates Surge and Kit and convinces his fellow to leave. Taking another escape route at the docks in which they are ambushed by Sumeragi snipers. Which manage to shoot Starlight's right eye out. Naugus uses his magic to destroy his enemies and escape before reinforcements arrive.

During all of this Maw, Tails, Cream, and Cheese are fleeing from the chaos. Having escaped disposal via cremation thanks to Maw's improvising. Rescuing them by using Cheese as a distraction. As he turned into an orb of energy and bounced around as the two boys disabled the guards with Tails tossing an improvised bomb at the oven causing an explosion. They run until they stumble into Vanilla with Cream breaking down and Maw demanding to know what is going on. "We're leaving. Where's everyone else?" Tails answers. "They're all dead." Which stuns Vanilla before she regains her determination and leads everyone to safety. Taking them outside as one of the Sumeragi calls the police. Secretly tipping them off as a group of robots sneaking in to collect evidence of the war crimes.

Kagemusha is then intercepted by Surge and Kitsune. With the former attempting to do a cool entrance and speech. "BWAHAHAHAHAHAA! Your quest ends here! For I Surge the Tenrec have come to stop you! Oh, and this is Kit..." Kit simply waves shyly, only to be bowled over by the masked man. Giving the two a double lariat dragging them across a hallway until crashing into a door. He then gets up and goes off on his merry way as their head injuries allow them to break free of their conditioning and limp away. With Surge swearing vengeance on Starlight, and to become strong and fast enough to never be caught off-guard.

Kagemusha uses his gate system to teleport to Acorn castle where the entire royal family is an uproar. With security on high alert and King Maximilian Acorn, an elderly ground squirrel with a grayed out beard, and a blue, gold, and red parade dress with a jeweled crown getting reports and updates. "Sir, the school has been destroyed and all of it's personnel have been butchered!" "Where's Naugus?! He was supposed to take care of such problems!" "He's MIA alongside Starlight." "What?!" "Also the authorities have found the location of said facility." "Tell them to secure the area! And prepare a full media blackout!" "We can't! The whole thing has been leaked online! By the time we can get control of the situation the data will have spread to the dark web!" Prince Nigel Acorn then busts into the throne room in a furious rage demanding to know about the situation. "Father what is going on?! Is it true that Les infantes terribles is actually active?!" Maximilian simply brushed off his son's concerns with a nonchalant. "Anything for victory. The Federation invaded us because we were weak. But with an army of supermen, we will storm Station square and takes what's ours!" "You're still insisting on this father?! Even though we all know the truth?! That this war is all about access to the towers!" "Yes! The Chaos emeralds!" Max screamed wielding an expression that can only be described as pure madness. "Yes, with the Chaos emeralds we can revive Alicia!" Nigel having enough of this tells the king. "The emeralds are myth. Nicole said so, and she is an administrator."

The fight is interrupted by an operator when he says that Geoffrey is trying to have his way with Sally followed by a series of explosions and the power going out. Nigel stomps his foot and leaves. "We'll finish this some other time." Nigel then shuts the door and as he leaves to find Sally he thinks to himself. "I don't have a choice. I'll have to rely on that Kagemusha to deal with father."

Max and the operators are still scrambling to regain control. Not aware that someone is picking off the staff one by one. And when they get the lights back on they find themselves among corpses. With the king being stabbed from the spine and out the stomach before anyone could realize it. Killing the king after he slowly and painfully bleeds out and the remaining staffed mowed down. Meanwhile a terrified Sally was trying to stop Geoffrey, using Nicole to mess with the security. Using the blast shutters to stop the skunk who transforms into black smoke to pass thru gaps. And using the power to phase thru the security turrets that open fire on him. Strolling thru the hallways like a boss until he finally got to Sally and Nicole's hiding spot. Nicole jumps Geoffrey aiming for his throat with her weapon the Den den gale, a pair of tessen war fans made of iron with razor sharp plates that Geoffrey dodges as the two begin to fight. With the skunk pulling out a gun and shooting Nicole who gracefully slices the bullets in half. Panicking Geoffrey shoots only to find his clip empty and eating a Shipuuden from Nicole. A tornado attack formed by clapping the fans together which sends Geoffrey crashing several walls away. Landing next to Nigel who notices his daughter and friend and rushes to them as explosions rock the castle. "Father what is going on?" "We have to leave Sally, now!" Nigel is held at gunpoint by Geoffrey who orders. "Stand down you useless program. And Princess, spread 'em." "What are you doing you Ixian bastard!" "Simple actually. My master wants this kingdom for himself. So he used me to get to her. And while the original plan was to seduce her into marriage. I suppose I could always marry the corpse." Everyone else is shocked upon hearing that as Geoffrey gets closer as spreads his smoke all over Sally, burning her dress off. Before being pulled away and into the ground via telekinesis. Nicole takes the opportunity to help the royal family flee as Nigel wishes the masked warrior luck.

A very pissed off Geoffrey gets up and demands to know who was responsible for this. Only to be blown up by something that burns off half his face and quickly heals thanks to the skunks smoke form. "What is going on here?! Show yourself!" The next explosion blows up the gut from the inside causing fire to erupt from the gaping wound as Kagemusha stepped out from the shadows. Geoffrey once again recovers and aims his gun at Kagemusha screaming. "Do you have any clue how much that fucking hurts?!" While shooting at his opponent who isn't even flinching. "You've always talked too much." Kagemusha then snaps his fingers and blows up the skunks tongue. Multiple times as it continues to stitch itself back together before finishing by blowing up the entire jaw. Struggling to get up the Ixian apprentice leaps at his masked foe, transforming himself into blazing hot smoke and ash that bathe Kagemusha in flames. "Maybe it's time for you to beg for mercy you pitiable fool!" In response Kagemusha silently snaps his fingers. Causing the smoke that is his body erupt in black flames. Causing Geoffrey to revert as the flames cling on to him no matter what he tries to do. Turning his body into molten tar as a side effect of his magic. Feeling ungodly amounts of pain, to the point of begging his foe to save him even when his face is half melted into slurry and releasing a putrid smelling black smog. Kagemusha simply ignores his dying foe as he picks up his phone. "Oh, Monika. Yeah, i'm done here what about you?" "I'm done here too senpai. The generals have performed flawlessly and the Federation is seeking a cease fire." I see, King Nigel has escaped with the princess. And now that Maximilian and his court are all dead. Both sides will agree to end the war and leave the towers alone." "Is this a good idea?" "The Chaos emeralds need to remain hidden inside the towers." Kagemusha then leaves as Geoffrey is left to die. The revelations that he heard leave the skunk broken as he dies. Melting down into a puddle of sludge.

After all was said and done Green hills is in a panic as with the death of King Maximilian And with Nigel Acorn swiftly securing power alongside his allies. Eventually the future Commander Tower brokers a peace deal between the nations ending the war. Cream would be adopted by Vanilla while Tails and Maw left and went their separate ways.

One meeting Sonic the hedgehog after he woke up from his injuries. "That's amazing Uncle Chuck!" "Indeed sonny boy! A consistent 660 miles per hour at bare minimum. I guess his name isn't just for show." The two furries were watching Sonic from an ATT-60/F2: Tankant observation craft. A giant floating box of a craft with numerous sensors and observation cameras of every kind with a large observation cupola in its center. Which is where Tails and Chuck are watching Sonic run thru water in the open fields of Windmill isle in Apotos.

And the other one ends up finding Eggman and joining him. Maw is looking at his new mechanical jaws in a mirror with approval as Eggman enters his room. "So, how does it feel to be of my new generals?" Maw simply smiles as he zips up his new uniform.

Apr 5 t.h, 8932: Eggperial city, another dimension

After months of preparations for battle. Eggperial city is fully online. Orbot and Cubot are finishing the preparations for the assault as Sage stands by the side of a rock that has a surprisingly Eggman's face drawn on it. Facing it and then looking at the screens she boasts. "Look father! Your new invincible army! With these new forces we will conquer the world, and then, the UNIVERSE!" The rock remains silent and immobile as Sage continues much to the concern of her older siblings.

Orbot and Cubot meanwhile are talking among themselves and worried about their new boss. With Orbot being especially bitter about the fact that Sage is essentially on equal rank as Metal Sonic as second in command of the Eggman empire even though she was the youngest of the Egg bosses. While Cubot is worried that... "This whole thing is creeping me out Orbot." "As long as I don't end up as that Grimer fellow." Orbot then points at the bleached skeleton that was Grimer Wormtounge still in its corner after six months. "Didn't he just choke on Manjuu?" "Manjuu of the damned to be precise. But it's the principle Cubot!" Orbot then finds himself getting conked by the Eggman rock which he believes that Sage tossed only for Cubot to tell him that she already left. Leaving Orbot confused as he stared at the rock over in the floor.

Sage meanwhile was heading to another facility thru a transfer line while communicating with Metal Sonic who is both hiding in an abandoned smuggling post in the desert and not at all too happy about his situation. "And why should I attack the former Egg bunker if Sonic isn't there?" "Because father said so, that's why." "Do you honestly believe such delusions dear sister? Eggman is dead, he's been gone for over six months and our mighty empire has been to squatting inside a pocket dimension." Sage's blue eyes and tron lines suddenly glow red as Metal Sonic is electrocuted from a distance. Causing considerable pain and system damage until his engine smokes out and collapses. "Metal Tails!" The mechanical fox then stepped up in front of the collapsed and beeped in confirmation. "Head to the GUN bunker alongside our new forces." Four identical gray humanoid robots based off Metal Sonic's design only with a flat human face instead of an anthropomorphic animal of any kind, stepped out of the shadows around the Metals. The four Metal fighters kneel towards Sage as Metal Tails beeps once more. Sage then declares. "Go my badniks! Show the world the might of the Eggman empire!"

As Sage travels between the many facilities that make Eggperial city. The AI oversees the construction and development of weapons and robots. Aside from the production plants for the standard Egg pawns, Egg hammers, Egg Bishops, Egg magicians (The offensive counterpart to the Bishop) and their many variants like the Flappers which are flying Paws without legs and wings for arms alongside guns and bombs as weapons in the form of the gun, cannon, and bomb variants, as well as the Search flapper. The Egg Knights, golden colored command types with an antenna. The Heavy Egg Hammer, a stronger, helmeted variant with hover jets and a new hammer capable of copying Amy's Raketenhammer form. Several new models such as the Hardened Egg pawns, a series of brown egg shaped robots cased in thick and strong armor with rubber-hose limbs with in-built weaponry. A buster cannon in the left arm, and a right arm that holds beam claws in each fingertip with a hand mounted beam shield. The Egg Chasers, which are meant to replace the Flapper line. Having arms and legs with the arms being a pair of variable speed beam launchers. Even more powerful versions of the VSRB capable of bathing the area in plasma and large powerful back thrusters. And Egg Fighters which are meant to replace the Egg Knights. Top heavy dark blue mecha with small rotating heads Just as big, just as heavily armed and armored and can use up-sized variants of Eggman weaponry.

Afterwards Sage heads to a Badnikm plant where EBK-1991: Motobug a ladybug robot with a singular wheel for propulsion meant for land infantry. The 1992: Buzzer, Wasp robots with stinger cannons and jets for wings designed for aerial superiority. The 1995: Needlenose, small mosquito dart robots whose small size serve as interceptors and harassers. The 2000: Grounder, a crimson mixture of a tank and a mole with a drill nose and hands meant for digging and demolitions. The 1993: Jawz, a flying torpedo shark capable of aquatic and hover combat. The 1996: Ball drone, a floating ball with a gun that serves as a sentry and overlaps with the Flappers. The 2001: Kiki, an orange monkey robot capable of multiple tasks like tossing bombs, piloting craft, poisoning stuff, and stealthy kills. And finally the 1998: Spinner, another aerial combat unit based of a bat with rotating blades for defense that unlike the other two types is built for close combat and terror attacks.

And finally a massive hangar where numerous Death Egg robots are placed in hundreds of rows as they are being constructed and maintained. As well as Egg Leos, a new mass produced variant, and the Egg Ophiuchus the new elite variants. Models EMW-06 and EMW-13 respectively. Similar to the Egg Robo MP's bipedal humanoid mecha based off the Waltzer frame with far more simplified designs. The Egg Leo is a simple mobile infantry platform with the Ophiuchus being a larger, spikier variant with in-built missile launchers on the shoulders and beam shield generator. Before finally ending up in another hangar where three new giants are on standby. Sage muses to herself as she then looks at a strange cocoon like device that is larger than the other three mechas pulsing with an eerie blue glow. "The salvaged Titans are almost ready. All that's left is to complete my Supreme. With Sonic and his friends gone, it will be easy to take over Mobius. Even with Team Dark and the resistance being around their middling connection to the Chaos force will ensure that reality functions in the proper way."

Gun fortress, Dusty desert

"What is this?" Shadow asks as he holds a strange six barreled revolver the size of a one and a half foot long hand cannon and weighing 15 pounds. Containing several gashes and rust patches and clear signs of wear and tear. He returns to the gun to Maria who bought the old gun from the dark web. "A caster gun. An ancient weapon from the days before the magical girl wars." Shadow raises his eyebrow in doubt remarking. "Shouldn't that thing be a pile of rust and dust?" Maria comments. "That's why its so rare. To have an antediluvian relic still around that isn't kept under lock and key by either private collectors and the government never happens anymore." Shadow then looks at the computer screen noticing the 20,000 meseta winning bid and the name. "ladiesloveWechnia69? Is this serious?"

The scene shifts to Touka in her new lab in Green hills falling over her beanie bag chair in laughter. "He's ladiesloveWechnia69?!" it's then showed that Touka managed to get into Tails files and found his browsing history. "I'm dying, from comedy!"

Back at the bunker Maria placed the gun in a nearby desk where she began tinkering with the gun before alarms erupt all over the bunker. With Commander Stone ordering Shadow to scramble alongside Rouge and Omega. Maria heads to her command console and asks "What's going on?" "It's Eggman, Maria." The young girl looks confused as Shadow clutches his hands and boosts away to intercept. After cutting the communications Commander Stone then looks at Surge and Kit telling them that its time to head out.

Shadow reaches the entrance of the bunker where he sees the defense systems and Omega firing at Egg pawns riding modified Scouting Motobugs that are larger and have straps and handles rushing towards the base. With turret and missile variants aiding them. And Needlenose to serve as interceptors which get taken down en masse as they are used as cannon fodder before Buzzers and Flappers take over the fight. Shadow then reaches the defense perimeter where he met Rouge who is coordinating the situation. "What's going on Rouge?" "To be fair I have no idea Shadow. We confirmed that all of the Egg bosses are either dead or captured." "What about Metal Sonic?" "Not his style and you know it." "Fair enough, Metal would have already long busted thru the defensive line." While in the background Omega keeps firing as a turret behind him explodes, tossing fuel that lights the robot on fire. Onega is utterly unbothered and continues to shoot his Gatling guns taking out several mooks in the process. "You cannot burn me. I am already on fire." He then fires a cluster missile that craters part of the desert causing multiple Motobugs to fall and crash. "Welcome to the United states of YOU JUST GOT DOMINATED!"

High above the battlefield Metal Tails uses his scopes to view the battle. "BEEP!" After giving the order a massive gate opens above the facility. Allowing one of the three white giants descend from the portal. A large heavy topped humanoid monster with slim arms and legs, huge rounded shoulders and a large mouth in the chest with an Eggmobile on top serving as the head.

Egg Giganto

The Giganto then opens up numerous beam ports all over its body and fires them all at the area below. Catching GUN off-guard as the desert is glasses before their eyes, And then descends toward the Egg bunker as Metal Tails disappears from said portal. "BEEP! (Go my minions! Go forth and kill!)" Meanwhile Surge and Kit climb up into the roof of the central building. As the duo head towards a giant Eurasia class cannon. An enormous railgun designed to blow up space targets. "Why can't these things have a slaving system?" The duo run past several explosions with Kit stating. "The Eurasia's are brutally outdated. People now only use them to blow up asteroids." Surge snarls and remarks. "So why bother with keeping these gun up to code? Guess that it's good that the giant freak is a big and slow target. The cannon explodes in front of the duo as Metal Tails walking out from the explosion leaving both of the punks on edge. The trio is then ambushed by a dozen GUN Beetles. A group of flying robots shaped like one eyed mechanical beetles who open fire on Metal Tails whom raises a counter barrier that deflects all fire back at the Beetles. And is then struck by a combination attack by Surge and Kit. Using their electric and water powers to push the Metal back. At least until Metal Tails focused the energy around him and fires it back in an arc that would hit Surge if Kit didn't push her away and took the blow. Destroying his water tank and frying him so badly that his body is smoking. Surge demands backup as Metal goes in for the kill. Surge fires off electric attacks everywhere. But Metal Tails aerial skills are leagues beyond. Easily able to dodge lightning while firing off his own shots, whom all land on Surge who is also moving at lightning speed. "BEEP! (Despair truly is the finest liquor.)" The robot then charges up a blast straight at Kit which Surge tanks leading her to collapse on her knees. Of course she keeps fighting but Metal Tails simply blocks the attack until the Tenrec grows tired. "BEEP! (How disappointing! To think that Maw came from the same place as you did.)" Kit then struggles to get up telling Surge that the robot knows about Maw and our school. "What the fuck did you just say you damn can?!" "BEEP!" "Kit, translation." "He says that Maw ended up the Eggman empire and that he spoke all about us. How we were experimented on to create super soldiers. How he and his friend were going to be disposed of. And that Starlight is still alive." The last revelation causes Surge to snap, not being helped by a repetitive beeping that sounds like an evil laugh. The furious Tenrec simply gets up, screams, and fires off red lightning that plows past Metal Tails shield and deal damage. Even managing to lift it up into the sky thru sheer potency until her hands start bleeding causing her to stop and recoil in pain. While Metal Tails is forced to land on the ground. Injured but still ready to fight, at least until a pair of plasma shots blindside the robot revealing Shortfuse the Cybernik who flies in between both parties with guns trained on Metal Tails. "Are you alright lady?" Surge screams. "I didn't need your help you shorty!" Shortfuse merely tells her. "And what about your friend?" Which causes the belligerent Tenrec to stand down, pick up her partner, and escape to safety. All the while a pissed off Metal performs a black shield that easily gets tanked by Shortfuse's metagal armor. After the fifteenth failure when his finally collapses he beeps. "BEEP! (What's that armor made of, Metagal?)" "Yes, I am Shortfuse the cybernik." "BEEP! (Well... Mistakes have clearly been made...)" Metal Tails then gets decked in the face, hard enough to leave a dent in his frame and leading to a hasty retreat.

"Surge is rushing Kit to a stretcher that takes the Fennec to the emergency room. She is then met by both Touka and Ahiru, with the latter in her duck form. As the punk girl struggles to process what she's seeing Ahiru comforts her by stating. "Do not worry, he is safe hands." Before flying off to said emergency room leaving Surge confused. The former magical girl then looks up at Surge and introduces herself. "Greetings, I am Touka Satomi. You wouldn't happen to be one of the survivors of les infantes terribles?"

During that time the Egg Giganto was rampaging across the battlefield. To the point where Shadow and Rouge drag Omega outside with the bat girl ordering the group to summon their megazord. Omega reminds her that they do not have a megazord but instead turn giant. Annoyed Rouge yelled. "Ugh fine! Magic wand make my furries grow!"

Team Dark then transform into their Voyager forms. Shadow becomes Moto Voyager, a black and red motorcycle with Shadow's face and four wheels connected to the suspension which also serves as a gun. Rouge becomes the Speed Voyager, a white and pink luxury car with Rouge's face and her muzzle serving as a grill. With the ears being larger and to the sides. And finally Omega becomes the Trailer Voyager a crimson, black, and white massive trailer truck that dwarfs the other two with a cab shaped like Omega's head and chest exhaust pipes on the sides and a boxy crimson trailer. The three rush to face Giganto, only to realize that they don't have the ability to fly. After a moment of pause team dark gets bombarded with more lasers. Omega furious demands that his zord fly to which it responds with a strange road bursting out of the air, decking the mecha from below. And transforming into a highway in the sky leaving everyone in confusion. Gigantio then summons the badniks to his side but they are all shot down by Gadget's Fire Voyager, a fire truck in the wolf's image with twin ladders that fire beams at the enemy as Gadget plows thru hordes of Egg pawns. Followed by a massive crack in the ground from which Shortfuse's Breaker Voyager, a large icebreaker ship mecha. With Shorty's face mostly hidden by the massive strengthened hull. "Damn! This Voyager form is sweet! Everyone, with me!" Shortfuse then turns towards the horde as GUN Hunters join the fight. With the former spearheading the assault while the top heavy humanoid robots wielding arm cannons flank the lines. Routing the horde as they continued fighting to the last robot.

In the skies above Egg Giganto is fighting the Team Dark Voyagers. With Moto and Speed Voyager's driving circles around the robot who is firing off missiles from it's shoulders and smashing roads with its bare fists. It then opens its mouth revealing a massive canon, firing off in a wide arc causing massive damage. As the beam power downs Shadow uses Chaos control to get inside the cannon, reverting back to Shadow, and beating the firing lens until it explodes causing Moto Voyager to fly out. While Rouge fires off sonic beams at Giganto which are countered by his own screams and back mounted mortals that blow up the roads and slam Shadow and Rouge into the ground. Shadow curses as Giganto aims all of its beams at the two when Rouge says. "It's not over yet! Omega!" Another road plows thru Giganto as Omega drives forward. "Destroy ugly Eggman robots! Arrows of light!" Trailer Voyager's... trailer, splits apart to reveal rows of cannons which all fire off 200 arrows of light at the mecha which hit it dead center. Finally causing it to crash down in a spectacular manner as the Voyagers faced the robot. Rouge then yelled. "Okay boys let's combine!" With Shadow and Omega responding with. "Hmph, try and keep up." "Activate maximum kill mode!"

The trio began to combine as Trailer Voyager lifts itself upwards, with the trailer separating from the truck and becoming a pair of legs. The truck itself reconnecting itself, becoming the torso with the front being the chest. With Shadow and Rouge transforming their Voyagers into the right and left arms. Moto separates his carriage and turns it into a large blaster with both heads of the mecha turning into shoulders while the back halves become the lower arms. After that a rounded head shaped like a racing helmet rises from the torso as four lights that serve as eyes light up.

Both giants stare each other down as the sun sets on the horizon. The Metal fighter inside the Egg Giganto holds the triggers on his controls readying his weapons as Veloci-Oh readies his blaster, which connects to Moto's hand. Facing each other off in a shoot-out. Giganto shoots first, firing everything that still works. Shadow quickly stops time and the beams, missiles, mortars, and laser beams. With Shadow shooting down the attacks before resuming time and shooting the Giganto in the center mass. Omega then retracts a pair of wheels on his legs and boost forward with Shadow shooting all the way. Rouge then grabs the remains of the mouth cannon and fires off a blast of dark energy from her palm. "Darkness finger!" And then side kicks the Giganto away. His beams then transforms into lasers that bend and strike Veloci-Oh, shredding the combinations armor as Giganto restored itself, got up, and fires its primary beam again. And then begins to fly away at top speed.

"I don't think so!" Shadow screams. "Now witness the ultimate power!" He then attempts to go super which causes Veloci-Oh to glow red as power erupts from it's frame. "Trans-AM!" The egg mecha was preparing to escape with a portal as he is blitzed by Team Dark. Getting tackled away as they vanish into afterimages which go on appear in different areas and pass Giganto into one another by punching him in the face, gut, or back. With the final image giving it a haymaker right in the cockpit bubble and straight into the ground. Omega's part then changes and expands to reveal multi missile launchers on its legs. It's chest splitting apart and reforming into twin chest mounted buster cannons. And the head visor being pulled up. Showing four glowing green lights that flip open to reveal a singular giant eye that focuses on its target. "The Omega! Fire!" And on command hundreds of missiles were fired at the Giganto all at once, followed by the cannons firing off an all consuming wave of charged particle and its eye firing off a pulse laser. All at the Giganto. The paicked Metal fighter ejects but cannot escape the barrage which causes a cataclysmic explosion that wipes out both opponents and everything else within 300 meters.

As the victorious Veloci-Oh looks at the sunset. Rouge simply says. "Let's go home boys!" As the trio heads back to the base.

Unbeknownst to Team Dark. Sage was watching the battle, who shuts off the feed due to annoyance. "Those fools think they've won. But that was just a test. With Eggperial city online we can create an endless amount of war material. As long as this city stands. Your bloodline will fall. Oh great hero of the Koko! Watch as I conquer the world for father." Sage then looks at the Eggman rock and smiles at it in a creepy manner as the hiding Orbot and Cubot watch on in concern.

Back in Team Dark's hideout. A small and quaint cottage house made of scraps located in the cavernous depths below the bunker. A cozy place that clashes with the massive tunnel systems that connect the many weapon depots inside. Including an abandoned nuclear missile silo from the Antediluvian era. Shadow had returned to the house where Maria went back to work on the caster gun. "So Rouge is reporting to the commander while Omega is busy shooting at whatever is left of the badniks." "Pretty much..." "Shadow, are you sure that Uncle really is dead?" Shadow sits on a nearby case explaining. "Honestly, I don't know. Sonic said he killed him. But I never saw it. We were killed quickly in Spiral island." Maria looks down at the gun thinking of how she ended up at GUN. Being bullied for years and almost committing suicide by jumping of a building. She would have died if she wasn't rescued by Shadow by mere chance. In this universe Shadow was sealed but without the Chaos emeralds to power the Eclipse cannon things never escalated with the ARK. And the Black Arms had long been exterminated which meant that Gerald never used Black Arms DNA.

In one of the computer screens there was information about NIDS. And how Gerald Robotnik was researching it. A rare neurological disease that not even RC chambers could truly heal. With victims requiring regular RC treatment. One of the few ailments that modern science cannot deal with.

As for topside Shortfuse and Gadget are waiting in the emergency room with the former bitching about Surge. "Seriously! You would think that punk would worry about her pointer!" Gadget tries to calm the Cybernik down pantomiming that he should just calm down and breathe. Then the operation room's light turns off as the medics exit. With Ahiru back in her human form declaring the treatment a success. As the medics leave Kit walks out still feeling the pain of the burns and begging to know where Surge is. As Ahiru and Gadget calm down the panicked Fennec. Rouge and Touka join everyone with the latter noting sorrowfully. "I heard everything about the school from Rouge." The bat girl notes. "Don't worry dear. Both Commander Tower and King Nigel cleaned up their nations." Shortfuse still frustrated screams. "Where the hell is that Surge girl?!" Which causes Kit to cry and Shorty to get reprimanded by everyone.

Surge had snuck into the bunkers database and using her electrical powers to hack the security is searching for data on Doctor Starlight. "Where is the data on that bastard?! Wait, project Oppenheimer? GUN's attempts at recruiting researchers during the post war period. Let's see, Colin Kintobor Jr. A roboticist that worked with Eggman who has gone AWOL. Responsible for the GUN Hunters, and the GUN Waltzers. Maria Robotnik, specializing in systems engineering and computer programming. Also related to Eggman. Ugh, skip, skip, skip, ah. Doctor Joseph Starlight. Geneticist and magitechnology expert. Currently stationed in Newtrogic High zone where he is assisting in the development of a new type of Chaos drive." Surge then grins evilly and states. "Not for long," Before speeding away in a flash of light.

A day later in Dusty Desert

Metal Sonic shuffles outside the hideout cursing out Sage. As he leans on the side of the door he searches the Eggnet for the status of the remaining Eggman bases when he notices a location known as Newtrogic high zone. After pausing for a moment to inwardly groan at Eggman's old naming sense before settling on the Egg thing. With the so called Egg bunker originally being known as ROCC station. Leading to a face palm followed by a loud groan by Metal. He then remembered that the land across the facility was built due to some reaction with the Master emerald and that it was originally a facility that the Ancients built to construct what would become the Starfall islands. He also remembered Grimer's pet project, the Metallix. Chuckling he disables his communicator as he flies off towards the area at top speed.

Sakura orphanage, Illiad 4

Illiad 4 is a peaceful world by galactic standards. A so called Super Earth. A planet like Earth only 2.5 times larger. Due to the gravity the local anim subspecies that is native to the world is shorter and stouter than the norm. Giving them the name Dwarven Anim. And in the remote region of the Heidi Alps, away from even the small towns that dot the mountains and valleys. There lies the Sakura orphanage. Built and funded by Kyoko Sakura after the magical girl war. It alongside Sayaka are the reasons why the former remains in the military. And as the sun rises and a group of young children run outside. An attractive young human girl with green hair and eyes and a nun habit complete with head cloth greets the morning with a yawn.

Meanwhile in space, Sonic is sleeping in his quarters. Squirming and struggling in his sleep. In his dreams he meets Dark Super Sonic, now having pitch black fur with a dark blue aura and wearing a ragged and torn brown cloak. With Goro Majima's severed floating head is caught in the middle. Visibly sweating at the intensity of Dark Sonic, who was sporting red eyed with black sclera and a cruel smirk. "Did you think this was over fool?" The two Sonic's then vanish and clash all over the dark void leaving shockwaves in their wake. All while Goro struggles to keep up.

The JSRT stands for the Japari Search and Rescue team. A group originally created to solve Cellien incidents. Eventually a war happened which they lost after their drones were turned into Celliens. Among their numbers are of course the Big dog, the Combatmen, and the Dig series. The group was decimated with Raccoon and Fennec being the sole survivors.

By my own admission I hate Geoffrey St. John and King Maximilian. With both of them being these miserable little millstones. So I made sure that their deaths were painful as catharsis. And honestly i've waited for this moment since season 1. Which is why he goes out similar to Envy from Fullmetal alchemist.

The Manjuu of the damned comment is a reference to Disgaea where King Krezcovyk choked to death with one starting the plot of the game.

LadiesloveWechnia69 is actually a reference to Knuckles Chaotix. Where Wechnia the apparent inspiration for Dr. Finitevus and Starlight as a white furred Knuckles was actually meant to be Tails. With a secondary reference to the Transformers live action movie.

Much like how GUN Tower was built in the former Appalachian mountais. GUN bunker is located in what was once Kiltford Air force base. With the underground areas being nuclear missile silos being part of the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center. With the facility being lost during the scouring until Eggman stumbled into it during his escape from GUN custody.
