Chapter 14
Return to Tatooine
A Naboo cruiser lands in a landing platform on the desert planet of Tatooine. Anakins homeworld when he was a child, but was taken away by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jiin due to his feelings of Anakin being the chosen one. Since then Anakin has not been back to Tatooine for more than ten years. Now Anakin has returned to help his mother. As the cruiser lands on solid ground, Bumblebee left the cargo hold and drove through the streets of Mos Espa, where he noticed a 2007 Chevrolet Camero was sitting in a parts dealer's lot. Bumblebee scanned the vehicle, took on it's form as his own alt mode, and turned around to the landing platform ready to pick up Anakin, Padme, and Wheelie.
While they were driving through the streets of Mos Espa, Anakin navigated to Watto the junk dealer where he might get some answers to where his mother is. Bumblebee parked in front of Watto's and opened both of his doors letting Anakin and Padme out.
"Wait right there" said Anakin to the Autobots.
"Sure thing kid, we'll be right here when you get back" said Wheelie calmly.
"Exuse Me Watto. Let me help you with that"said Anakin in Huttese.
"What? I don't know you...
What can I do for you? You look like a Jedi. Whatever it
is... I didn't do it." Watto replied in Huttese. Watto dropped a screw driver and it hit his foot before it hit the ground.
Anakin picked up a discarded and damaged head of a pit droid and started tinkering with it before looking back at Watto and said in Huttese"I'm looking for Shmi Skywalker."
At that moment Watto finally recognized his visitor.
"Ani? Little Ani? Watto asked Naaah!!"
When Anakin placed the droids head on the table and something began to light up, the Toydarian knew without a doubt in his mind that this was his former slave. Watto got up from his chair and flew close to Anakin happy to see him
"You are Annie! It is you!
Ya sure sprouted! Weehoo! A Jedi! Waddya know? Hey, maybe
you couldda help wit some deadbeats who owe me a lot of
money..." said Watto.
"My mother...said Anakin"
"Oh, yeah. Shmi... she's not mine no more. I sold
her." Watto said.
"You Sold her.."said Anakin
"Years ago. Sorry, Annie, but you know, business is
business. Sold her to a moisture farmer named Lars. Least I
think it was Lars. Believe it or not, I heard he freed her
and married her. Can ya beat that? Watto asked.
"Do you know where they are?asked Anakin"
"Long way from here... someplace over on the other
side of Mos Eisley, I think..."said Watto.
"I'd like to know." Anakin said with a grim expression on his face. Watto knew that Anakin meant business so he compiled with his demands.
"Yeah... sure... absolutely. Let's go look in my
records." Watto said as he ,Anakin, and Padme walked into his shop.
Hey guys sorry about the Long delay it's been one crazy few months with my job and my health but I'm back. I'll try to put out as many chapters as I can. Once again I don't own any of these franchises until next time guys.
