He was surrounded by darkness, his body had already felt numb before he fell into a coma. Though the last thing he heard was her voice, calling out to him before death swallowed him, or so he thought. That's the only thing that kept replaying in his empty mind right now, her frantic yet sweet voice. Though once in a while he would hear his mother's sobs that made his heart ache greatly, his brother's soothing voice telling him to stay strong, Naruto and Shisui's constant pursuit of him to wake up, and Kakashi's reading aloud his novel which made him want to kill himself, though despite it he was happy that they never gave up on him.

He was again in his darkroom of thought when he felt his soul float off his body. He could feel his throat hurting so much that he couldn't breathe and the next thing he knows he was staring at a bright light that was then got a glimpse Itachi's worried and tired face then suddenly he was back in the darkness.

Itachi stared at Shusiu who was talking animatedly about his adventure to Naruto who believed him with adoration. Itachi rolled his eyes and went back to reading some reports from the department. After a while, Shisui approached him along with Naruto.

" Yo we're getting some drinks, Kakashi will be here any moment to swap with us. " Itachi nodded at Shisui and waved at Naruto. Soon the duo went out and closed the door softly. Itachi sighed and closed all the reports and faced Sasuke.

" Since you're still asleep, I should tell you that we have been tracing Danzo and we're only one step behind him. Tsunade-sama by the way had told Sakura-san's parents that Jiraiya is her biological father and that Kizashi and Jiraiya are stepbrothers. Though it was a lot to take, the two have been great afterward. " Itachi looked at the window, thinking what to tell him next. He smiled and looked back at Sasuke.

" Ah, grandfather miraculously is awake after years of being comatose. He is regularly visited by Shisui and me. Father and mother would always stay with him and talk to him about the situation. He was looking for you so he came to visit a week ago. He said he missed his little brat. " Itachi chuckled and the room fell silent. He looked at Sasuke and sighed.

" I know it's been 6 months, and we still haven't found her Sasuke but we're still trying-" He immediately stood up when Sasuke's body started shaking, he held Sasuke's shoulder to calm him. Just in time Kakashi walked into the room and helped him.

" Hold him Itachi or he'll fall. " Itachi nodded and watched as blood started dripping from Sasuke's nose and could feel his body shaking even more. He heard the door slam open and felt Shisui stand beside him and holding down Sasuke through his leg while Naruto moved to Sasuke's other side. Itachi felt panic creeping into his system that he felt all energy leaving his body.

Itachi looked down at his brother who was now convulsing, he could hear Kakashi's frantic voice calling for Tsunade who pushed him to the side, he looked at his mother who held his elbow and pulled him away from Sasuke's body. He and Naruto were pushed outside of the room by Kakashi. He looked up and saw Rin and Obito running in their directions, Rin entered the room and locked it while Obito comforted his sobbing mother.

He looked down at his shaking hands. He had never felt so scared in his entire life. He almost had a heart attack before, when he found out that young sweet little Sasuke was kidnapped but not like this, he felt like he never did enough, he could have ran faster, Sasuke would have been pulled away farther. He leaned on the wall and slid down to sit on the floor. Staring at the door where his brother was admitted.

He then felt soft hands on top of his and dainty hands on his knee, he looked to his left and saw Izumi smiling softly at him then to his right, his mother kneeling beside him caressing his knee. He felt his mother wiping his now wet cheek since he had no idea he was crying.

" He's strong, he'll be okay. " His mother spoke and kissed his temple. Mikoto stood up and sat beside Fugaku who embraced her tightly. Not long after she started sobbing in his father's arms while his father would whisper soft words to his mother. He looked at Izumi who was now sitting on the floor beside him with her head on his shoulder.

" You know Sasuke-chan would always tell me that his goal is to surpass his big brother, I'm sure he still held on to that goal. He's still not done with it. He's strong, he'll wake up and be just fine. " Itachi nodded and sighed. Slowly he leaned his head on top of Izumi's and just waited for Tsunade to emerge from Sasuke's room.

Itachi was soon woken up by Izumi who was whispering to his ear.

" Itachi-kun, Tsunade's here. " Itachi immediately sat up straight and realized his body was moved to the bench just in front of Sasuke's room. He looked up at Izumi who was holding a bottle of water for him. He looked at Tsunade who was standing at the entrance along with his parents, Shisui and Naruto waiting for him. He stood up and took the bottle from Izumi. He approached them while drinking his water.

Tsunade smiled at him and pulled Mikoto's hands and held them firmly.

" He's awake. He can leave tomorrow if he makes progress today. " Itachi ignored Tsunade who was busy talking to his parents. He entered the room calmly and saw his brother sitting up while talking to Obito and Rin.

" Sasuke " Itachi walked slowly towards his brother and stood beside him. Sasuke nodded at him and cleared his throat.

Rin handed Sasuke a glass of water and waited for him to hand it back to her.

" Grandfather's awake now. " Itachi spoke and glanced at him.

" A-ah, I heard you talking to me about it. " Itachi nodded and cleared his throat.

" I-it's good to see you awake. " Itachi smirked and looked at him. His parents as well as Naruto, Izumi, Tsunade, and Kakashi entered the room.

" Of c-course, I still need to beat y-your ass. " Sasuke smirked at him and moved his gaze to his visitors. Itachi chuckled and held Izumi's waist who stood beside him.

He smiled softly as he watched his mother embrace Sasuke in a tight hug while Naruto climbed up at the end of the bed and told him about his progress these few months. He glanced at his father who would chuckle then pat Sasuke in the shoulder while Kakashi stood at the end of the bed and told him he had been asleep for 6 months. He was happy that his brother was now fully awake.

Amidst the happy sounds everybody emitted, the room fell silent when Sasuke opened his mouth.

" D-did you find h-her? " Itachi looked back at Sasuke who was staring at everyone. He glanced at Naruto who was now looking at the sheets and everyone avoiding Sasuke's gaze except for his parents who had no clue.

" Who are you talking about Sasuke-chan? " His mother sat beside him caressed his face.

" Sakura, did you find her? " Mikoto remained silent and stared at his husband. Everybody could see the anger building up in Sasuke's face.

" We're still looking for her. " Tsunade spoke and moved to stand beside Kakashi. Sasuke stared at Tsunade and glared at her.

" It's been what 6 months and you still haven't found her?! " Sasuke sat up and glared harder at Tsunade who glared back at him.

" We're trying- " Tsunade slammed her foot and shouted at Sasuke who cut her off.

" You're not trying hard enough! " Tsunade glared at Sasuke and slammed her hands on the bed.

" We're doing everything that we could! " Tsunade moved closer to Sasuke but was held back by Izumi and Kakashi.

" If you did she would have been found! But she didn't mean anything to you, did she?! " Tsunade turned red and moved closer to him but was stopped by Naruto.

" It pained me more not to save her, as her mother than you as her teammate, you brat! " Sasuke closed his mouth while staring at Tsunade's face. Tsunade immediately calmed down and sighed.

Sasuke stared at her then looked down. Avoiding everyone's gaze.

" I know you cared for her more than anyone just like how I cared for her, but please have patience Sasuke. " Sasuke sighed and nodded. He avoided his mother's curious gaze. Naruto chuckled and rubbed his head.

" If you heal faster, we can find her immediately teme. " He looked at Naruto who lifted a fist at him. He chuckled and returned his fist bump.

" Ah. " Sasuke smirked at Naruto. Mikoto smiled at her son and caressed his hair.

" When you do, I wanna meet this beautiful lady who enticed my sweet son and get to know her " Sasuke turned red and cleared his throat. Everybody in the room laughed at Sasuke's reaction.

" She's the sweetest you'll meet Mikoto-san " Rin giggled and placed a hand on Mikoto's shoulder. Everybody nodded at Rin and gave their own opinions about Sakura.

" She's very smart as well and very polite. " Itachi added and smirked at his brother who was turning red even more.

" She's a genius! " Obito screamed and everybody laugh while Tsunade smiled proudly.

" She's also very fierce and beautiful like ethereal beautiful. " Shisui added and chuckled while Kakashi and Naruto nodded at him in agreement.

" And strong, she could punch anyone and knock them unconscious in a second. " Naruto added and rubbed his head

" She is very understanding. " Kakashi added and placed a hand on Tsunade's shoulder.

" She's very caring and loving. " Tsunade smiled at Mikoto and Fugaku. Sasuke looked up at his mother and father who were staring at him.

" She must be perfect then, am I right Sasuke? " Mikoto giggled at the compliments and looked at Sasuke.

" A-ah " He nodded while looking at his hands. Mikoto grinned and placed her hand on top of Sasuke's. Fugaku stared at his son, a rare sight of him showing emotions. He sighed and glanced at his wife who was staring at him.

" We'll find her, don't worry. " Sasuke looked up at his father with shock written on his face. Fugaku smiled at his son and nodded.

Sasuke stood beside Itachi while trying to control his heavy breathing. He closed his eyes for a minute then stared at the huge doors before him. Itachi glanced at his brother then pushed the doors slowly. Entering the room, they were welcomed with the sun rays streaming through the gaps of the curtains.

Long dark hair that was starting to turn gray sat near the window on a rocking chair, staring at the view of the city. Itachi cleared his throat and approached the said man.

" Good Morning Grandfather. " the man only nodded and continued staring at the view. Sasuke sighed and gripped the tray tighter, after calming his nerves, he loosened it and made slow steps towards the man with the same visuals as his, perfect and dark and just unique.

Sasuke scoffed and placed the tray in front of the man. " Good Morning Grandpa " the man glanced at Sasuke and smirked and went back to watching the view before him.

" I see you're awake Sasuke. How are you feeling? " Sasuke stood stiff beside the old man and glanced at him then back at the view finding it suddenly interesting.

" Fine. " Madara looked at both his grandson then stared longer at his mini version.

" Ah, well you look good and tall, not like before. " Madara smirked while Itachi had to hide his smile.

" Hn " Sasuke rolled his eyes and glanced at Madara.

" You used to be so small. " Itachi snickered and scoffed.

" Ah, he grew tall, even taller than me. " Madara smiled sat up straight.

" Come here Sasuke. " Sasuke nodded and moved closer to Madara and leaned down.

" Hn? " Madara handed him a picture that he never noticed his grandfather had been clutching for a while.

Madara moved his gaze to the bird pecking on the window and sighed deeply.

" I need to rest now, please call Rin and Obito. " Sasuke nodded at him and slipped the picture in his pocket. He glanced at Itachi who had been waiting for him at the door.

" Ah, rest well Grandpa. " Sasuke turned his back and exited the door. Leaving Itachi to close the door for him. With his hands in his pocket, he gripped the piece of paper in his hand and suddenly turned a corner and climbed the stairs leading him to the roof deck. All throughout his climb towards the most peaceful place in the hospital he had been fixing the turmoil in his chest after seeing his grandfather alive and well after the incident.

He pushed the big steel doors leading him to the roof deck. He leaned to the door after successfully pushing it open and realized he needs to start working out again since his body must have been weakened during his comatose state.

He breathed in the fresh air and moved to stand at the end of the building. He sighed deeply and looked over the city since the hospital was placed at a cliff making it one of the tallest building in the city. He looked down and realized that for sleeping for 6 months the place looked different. Everything looked so devastating compared to what he normally saw through the window.

The city per se still had the greatest view of the mountains but before the mountains, it was surrounded by tall steel walls. He could see tall towers with lights like you would usually find in lighthouses placed on top of it. He could see trucks and tanks parked near the entrance and soldiers roaming through the streets. Despite the sunny day, the place looked devastating and gloomy. Just like the incoming gray cloud that should soon be covering the whole city, adding its desolation even more.

He sighed and sat on a stone bench and examined the city for a while. After taking in the depressing sight before him, he finally pulled out the paper that he still clutched in his hand and realized he had crumpled it. After straightening the paper, he paused in shock and glanced at the photo in his hand.

In the photo he saw his young good-looking grandfather beside a very young version of him, smiling innocently and clutching the hand of a very familiar pinkette, whose green eyes sparkled just like the last time he saw her while smiling widely at the camera. He gripped the edge of the photo and was left speechless until his mind went completely blank from confusion.

For a while he tried to recall this memory, trying to remember it as he clutched the photo tightly while trying to avoid crumpling it again. When he recalled no memory he sighed in defeat while leaning back supported by his arms and pocketed the photo again. Soon he felt the cold droplets of rain falling onto his forehead, he glared up at the now dark sky and immediately went back inside the building.

A week had already passed and he used that time wisely by healing and waking up his muscles again after months of being bedridden. He had trained everyday with Kakashi and Naruto and sometimes with his brother Itachi. He had been so behind for 6 months, that he had to study the new technologies and weapons that the intelligence and weaponry division had created. It was like he had been asleep for years since he had been seeing more weapons that had been unknown to him. He had used that week to study and train in hopes to get back on the field.

After doing some push-ups and cardio exercises he decided to stop his workout routine and enter their house through their kitchen door. He was greeted by a few servants and a sous chef who had been assisting his mother since they were little. He nodded at them and took the clean towel from the maid and made his way to the living room just in time that his brother entered the manor arriving from his work.

" Nii-san " Itachi nodded at him and approached him and handed him a folder.

" Where's Kakashi and Naruto? " Itachi raised a brow at him and looked around before looking back to Sasuke. Sasuke held the folder and glanced up at his brother.

" They left early, something urgent maybe " Itachi nodded and turned away from his brother and was about to head up to his room. Itachi paused and looked at his brother who glanced at him.

" Oh and you're going back to work starting tomorrow. Tsunade had already approved of it. " Itachi waved and went up to his room, leaving a smirking Sasuke in the living room.

" Sasuke go take a bath, I'll be serving dinner in a while. " He glanced at his mother who walked down the stairs and headed towards the kitchen. He nodded at her and ran up to his room to prepare.

Sasuke entered the facility an hour early to avoid any commotion from his colleague and to avoid Naruto as much as possible since that blond would be too ecstatic to see him at work. He entered his office and noticed that the place was the same just like he left it last time. He smirked and planned to thank his sensei for keeping his word on not letting anyone enter nor touch anything in his office. He approached the table and touched the desk to check for dust and realized that for being untouched for months it was still clean, he looked around and found a foreign device in his office. He approached it and inspected the device, realizing it was a purifier with dusk cleaner.

He approached his desk and rearranged it and he took the documents from his table. He approached the wall and started pressing on the wall, a few seconds passed a small hole appeared, he leaned down and his retinas were scanned, then the wall opened up revealing a secret storage. He placed all his documents inside the closed it again. He walked back to his desk, just in time for someone to knock on his steel doors.

Sasuke sighed deeply and sat on his swivel chair and pressed a button under his table for the door to open. Sasuke pulled out his super-slim laptop from the drawer and sets it up on the table. He looked up from his laptop and stared at Sai who was waiting by the door. He rolled his eyes and signaled him to enter.

" Ah, Good Morning Sasuke-san, Jiraiya-sama as well as Kakashi-sensei called for you. " Sasuke nodded and stood up and walked out of the door, waiting for Sai to follow behind him. He locked the door and waited for Sai to guide him.

As they walked to where Jiraiya and Kakashi waited for them, he was greeted by his colleague with high regards as usual. He also noticed unfamiliar faces who only bowed at him for respect. He though knew that aside from being a well-known soldier, just a few years ago, after graduating he was officially introduced as one of the heir of Uchiha Corp., and a few years later aside from that, to Naruto's idiocy, his name was leaked to the public that he a famous weapon creator and owner of Lightning that had been supplying the navy with high-end techy weapons.

He slipped his hands in his pockets and followed Sai in the hallway, also wondering about the situation. He spent the whole week focusing solely on his health, he was banned from doing any mental and emotional activities that would slow down his progress. As they reached the end of the hallway to the familiar, huge door of the conference room. The guards stood tall and looked at Sai then at him. One of the guards approached him and was about to do a body inspection on him.

" Sir hands up please. " Sasuke had to sigh at the new soldier, who obviously doesn't know him. He sighed and ignored the other guards. Sai stopped the guard and explained about the urgent meeting, who only glared at him.

" It is the protocol, that unknown people inside the facility will undergo the inspection. " Sasuke tilted his head and pocketed his hands. The two guards glared only at him when he never budged from his position. One of the guards approached him arrogantly when Kakashi opened the door to the conference room.

" What is the commotion? " Kakashi spoke with calmness and approached them. The guards looked at Kakashi and pointed at Sasuke who remained passive and calm.

" Should we kick out this outsider sir for not following the authority? " Kakashi looked at Sasuke, Sasuke in turn raised a brow at him and rolled his eyes. The guards saw the exchange and glared at Sasuke.

" Disrespectful civilian! " The other guard was about to punch him when Kakashi stopped him.

" Show some respect to your senior, soldier. " Kakashi sighed and opened the door and let Sai enter.

" This is Anbu Captain Sasuke Uchiha, he is a member of Rookie 9, also our weapon creator and grandson of Madara Uchiha, so if you wanna keep your jobs, remember him. " The guards shuddered and immediately bowed at Sasuke who ignored their apologies and just entered the room. When he entered the room, he saw Team Hebi, as well as Team Gai and the Rookie 9.

Karin waved at Sasuke and pulled out a chair beside her. Sasuke ignored her and sat beside Naruto. He crossed his arms and looked at Jiraiya who was sitting just beside him.

Jiraiya smiled widely at him then at everyone. He stood up and pointed at him.

" Welcome back Sasuke! " He only nodded in acknowledgment then Jiraiya continued talking.

" Since you've been asleep for months, I'll be explaining our situation right now and start devising a new plan. " Naruto leaned towards him and pushed a glass of coffee.

" Hey teme! " Sasuke pushed Naruto's face away from his and listened to Jiraiya.

" Since the Civil war in Oto, it had affected some neighboring lands producing a world war among countries, and because of the outbreak, countries had been too hungry for the cure, too selfish that they started attacking other villages to gain some info on the cure. Sadly, our city still has no cure for the outbreak, a reason why the village is surrounded by huge thick walls. " Sasuke nodded at him looked at the holographic photo of the city wall.

" Now, everybody knew about our situation except for Sasuke, so we'll do a recap everyone, also to remind you all that this is no game and we're in this state. " Jiraiya sighed and touched the holographic screen and another photo popped up.

" Luckily, Sand is on our side, a great ally in this dire situation, Gaara had been updating us of their situation and had held meetings with the council about some leaks and info of the upcoming attacks from Rain and Mist. Now let's move on to the next, since Sasuke had a short recap of our situation, I do not need to explain to Sasuke our new weapon or device since he created this just a year ago. Itachi had reminded us about your device since he mentioned you had upgraded it with the help from a certain person. Though we used to think it was too dangerous but now we need it since it was used by Itachi itself. " Sasuke raised a brow at the photo in screen, it was his creation, the Chakra-aided Device or CAD. He had studied the Chakra pathways of human, and had realized that any chakra can be channeled into magic and turn it as a weapon.

His knowledge was strengthened even more after his study together with a certain pinkette, who had helped him in their leisure time to create a better CAD and had successfully put it into test once. He sighed deeply just at the thought of the pinkette who had been off his mind for the past week and now that he's thinking about her, he owes her so much. He looked at the device on the screen then at Jiraiya and Kakashi who was waiting for his approval. He nodded at Kakashi who placed a steel case on the table and opened it.

Sasuke stood up beside Kakashi and inspected the device and smirked. Realizing it was the CAD that he and Sakura recreated in the underground base at Oto. He inspected it slipped in the device in his wrist and watched as it, started adjusting to his wrist size. He flexed his wrist and looked at the drawn symbol on the CAD, a familiar symbol, a cherry blossom flower with blue electricity surrounding it. He smirked then showed the device to everyone.

Everyone was in awe as Sasuke introduced the device with so much passion. Sasuke smiled sadly at the end at the thought that the pinkette can't even test her own creation.

WRITER'S BLOCK! GUHD DANG IT. My head started hurting for like days cause I really wanna write another chapter but I can't cause of this writer's block.
