Chapter 04: Resurection
The following days after Endeavor's sacrifice and death were hectic to say the least, not only the Todoroki family tried to perform the burial rites for the fallen hero but they attempted to honor him as the man they knew all the while juggling reporters trying to get a scoop or a statement, they had to contend with the nut jobs who came out of the woodworks claiming that the whole Mindhunter incident was just a publicity stunt conjured by the pro heroes to keep themselves relevant after the deaths and defeat of Tomura Shigaraki and All For One, to add insult to injury those same loonies claimed that Endeavor is not dead and his whole family is in on this scam, plus there were always villains ready to step in place of those who came before them trying to fill the power vacum left behind.
Trying to find refuge from this media circus act Todoroki concentrated mainly on two things, Patrolling and keeping the bar from going under, at this point and time hechose the latter as he was busy with serving costumers, all and all, another day and another Yen earned, that is until a certain woman he knew entered the bar. Arriving in an outfit that complimented her beauty without losing any ounce of modesty Momo Yaoyorozu approached Shoto with a peculiar look on her face as the bartender couldn't help but wonder.
" did something happen?, I'm sure I didn't forget anything important….. or did I….?"
Momo at that reassured him by saying.
" no, you're more than fine… it's just these whackos with the conspiracies from TV and social media….. they're not letting up from harassing anyone involved in…. That incident."
Now it was his turn to reassure her.
" Yao… Momo, that's okay, I already made peace with the fact that my dear old man won't be around anymore to push me to do better or just shared a simple conversation….. or even meeting his grand kids one day… I'm being depressing aren't I? "
Momo nodded sideways.
" no, you're opening up and doing great."
Giving her a genuine smile Shoto served her favorite drink as he joined her saying.
" say are we still up for that arrangement we made?"
Momo smiled at him saying.
" three days from now, remember to wear something formal and don't be late."
Nodding. Shoto took a look at the time as he said.
" looks like it's closing time, wait right here."
Getting changed quickly Shoto began closing the place as he was wearing his civilian attire as he stated the following.
" I know we each have our pride, but I would kick myself to no end knowing that I left you alone to fend off those conspiracy crazies."
Blushing for a bit Momo could only utter the following.
" thank you."
closing the bar and heading outside the two walked outside with not a single yellow journalist giving them hell as Shoto walked Momo to the train station.
" looks like Christmas would be coming soon."
Momo at that nodded and hummed.
" so you've figured it out, yes you're invited to spend dinner with me and my family."
shoto could only reply with.
" sorry for ruining the surprise."
Momo at that stifled a giggle as she nodded her head sideways.
" I'm the one who should say sorry, I just didn't want to make you nervous inviting you on a date, a family dinner no less."
Shoto asked innocently.
" should I be nervous?"
Momo at that gave him a genuine smile saying.
" father is easily impressed while mother is easily to criticize so I'd say your odds are about 50-50."
Shoto deadpanned the following.
" only 50-50?, thanks for the boost in confidence."
As the two shared a quiet moment together an idea clicked into Shoto's mind as he asked.
" say?, did you manage to do your Christmas shopping already?"
Momo caught on quickly as she said.
" well… there are a few more things I'd like to buy so you're in luck."
Making a detour the two went Christmas shopping together as Shoto took a surprising interest in making sure he bought the right presents at the right prices. Having done with their shopping rather quickly Shoto checked his phone as he saw a weather update saying that in about an hour or so people should expect light snow fall.
" Momo I really think we should buy warmer clothes."
Momo in turn simply replied.
" I saw the weather forecast, follow my lead."
doing just that an hour passed quickly as both of them left the mall with an appropriate winter attire as Shoto stated.
" thank you."
Momo confused, simply asked while carrying her shopping bags.
" what for?"
Shoto replied evenly though there was a nervous tick in his body language.
" for giving me a small moment of normalcy."
At that Momo gave him a friendly smile as she added.
" and probably for helping you with shopping."
Shoto at that gave Momo a genuine smile saying.
" that goes without saying."
As the two continued Walking through the city towards the train station, snow began to slowly fall as Shoto pointed out.
" did you know that snow is a good omen on a date?"
Momo replied to him with warmth, probably due to her blushing at the fact that he considered what they were having as a date in a casual manner and tone.
" something to do with snow being a symbol for serenity and purity."
Three days at that passed quickly as the snow began piling on as Shoto arrived at the address Momo gave him, it was The yaoyorozu house just near U.A, the one his classmates were bragging about in their first year just before mid terms as he approached the gates with a small package in his arms. Greeting him was a fairly tall older gentleman with a dark toned hair with a few strands of gray and a thin mustache, giving Shoto an impression of a European aristocrat, to his recollection that must have been Momo's father.
" good evening."
The man in question gave him a playful yet stern stare before smiling at him.
" you must be Shoto Todoroki correct?, my daughter speaks highly of you."
As the gentleman led Shoto towards the house the latter asked the former.
" isn't that customary to introduce yourself by name?"
Smirking, Momo's father noted.
" indeed, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Ottavio Vittorio Yaoyorozu and who might you be young man?"
Shoto Todoroki slightly bowed as he said.
" Nice to meet you I'm Shoto Todoroki but as you mentioned before you already knew that."
The man recognized as Ottavio noticed the package in Shoto's hands.
" you've came bearing a gift, should I be worried?"
Not sensing any malice in the man Shoto responded with.
" I believe it's rude for a guest to greet his host empty handed, correct?"
As the two continued towards the house Shoto couldn't help but notice that the garden they were passing along the path looked more like a forest as Mr. Yaoyorozu caught the young man's amazement.
" I know it probably seems like much but I tried to cultivate here a little piece of home."
Shoto apologized and confessed.
" sorry, I guess this is something that needs getting used to."
At that the old man looked a bit remorseful saying.
" I beg your forgiveness for not saying it earlier but I'm very sorry for your loss."
Shoto thanked Old man Yaoyorozu saying.
" no harm done, in fact it was welcomed, thinking about it for too long won't change the facts."
As the two men entered the house Shoto took note on how big it was as he finally understood what his classmates felt in their study group all those years ago, though what he saw next could not compare, Momo herself dressed in a formal dress, similar to what she wore on the reception on I island, though this one was slightly different, as though as the style matured along with the beautiful woman who was wearing it, thank goodness he didn't have a habit of thinking out loud.
" I see you and papa are getting along."
At that Ottavio replied with a mixture of mirth and a humorous jab at Shoto's expense.
" a wonderful conversationalist that one."
recovering from being awe struck Shoto gently planted a small kiss on Momo's right hand saying.
" it's nice seeing you again, as always."
Momo gave him a lady like bow saying.
"the feeling's mutual."
Both amused and impressed Senor Yaoyorozu asked.
" is Mama going to join us today my dear Momo?"
Momo beamed at her father saying.
" she'll be joining us much later, make yourselves comfortable at the dinner table while I'll go and check on the kitchen."
As the two men sat at the table at opposite ends of each other a stand off of observation occurred as both sized each other when Shoto was the first to break the silence.
" have you known my father before?, I seem to recall you're a share holder at I island."
Old man Yaoyorozu nodded.
" we knew each other for a bit, we would exchange words here and there whenever he was representing the Todoroki group."
As an awkward silence was developing between the two Shoto finally asked.
" and what was your impression of him?"
Old man Yaoyorozu gave a small nod saying.
" whenever we spoke he would always be brief, at some points he even said….."
Shoto finished politely for him.
" I am a man of few words, so instead watch me."
ottavio at that smirked.
" exactly"
At this point and time Momo returned from the kitchen as she joined the table on Shoto's left side and Ottavio's right side.
" dinner should be served any minute now."
Old man Yaoyorozu smiled with delight as he asked.
" what's on the menu for today?"
Momo at that smiled.
" since we're having a guest I thought it would be appropriate that we would serve Sobameshi Italian style."
Shoto was caught a bit of guard by what was said as he wanted to protest politely that the Yaoyorozu family shouldn't have gone out of their way to accommodate him but a comment by the old man, one of a subtle threat mixed in with a sense of pride and joy put a stop to it.
" my lovely Momo slaved all day in the kitchen to make this dish… I hope you'll enjoy it."
Momo at that corrected her father by saying.
" I didn't slave away….. you're over exaggerating."
Ottavio at this point gave her a warm smile saying.
" That's because you make me proud every day mi cara mia."
With that the diners prepared to eat their meal as Shoto surprised the Yaoyorozu family with saying grace in Italian as he clarified.
" I had a few spare days to teach myself some basic Italian."
At that the old man smirked.
" no flexing at the table, at least not after dinner."
Shoto at that allowed himself a small yet subtle smirk as the occupants dug into their food. Enjoying their Sobameshi in relative peace the scene was somewhat interrupted as a middle aged woman bearing some of the features of Momo, minus the dominant black hair and her height walked to the table as she greeted her husband with an exuberant hug and a loving kiss on her daughter's forehead. Smelling the food she wasted no time in taking a small bite off of Momo's plate as she exclaimed.
" delicious…. Who made it!?"
Momo meekly smiled as her Mother smiled.
" I'm so proud of you…."
In the same breath she said.
" you….. you're kind of boring looking."
Shoto at that got up slightly, bowed respectfully while replying.
" I get it a lot, sorry for not introducing myself sooner I'm Shoto Todoroky."
The older woman in question jabbed at him again.
" and why haven't you introduced yourself earlier, let alone tell anyone you were breathing?"
Shoto kept his cool stating.
" didn't want to interrupt a nice and genuine family moment."
Sensing the awkward tension that was about to brew due to her mother's own bouts of honesty Momo cleared her throat.
" mama aren't you forgetting something?"
Momo's mother nervously laughed before correcting her oversight.
" oh right, forgot my manners for a bit, nice to meet ya, Marikoto Yaoyorozu but everyone calls me Mari."
Shoto gave a small nod before he gave a subtle jab of his own.
" nice to meet you Marikoto."
Marikoto didn't flinch or even get annoyed as Momo in turn excused herself.
" would anyone like some dessert?"
Marikoto at that nodded in agreement as she excused herself, claiming she needed to change clothes real quick, and quick it was as the woman sprinted off before returning in a more casual yet formal outfit in less than five minutes, Shoto at that excused himself as well saying.
" I'll go help Momo in the kitchen, I'm sure it will give you two a few minutes to talk about me behind my back."
As Shoto left Marikoto turned to her husband as she stated.
" maybe he isn't boring as I thought he was."
Amused Ottavio replied as follows.
" I'm sure he hasn't even begun to entertain us mi Bella."
In the meantime within the Yaoyorozu's household kitchen Momo took care of the tea with Shoto volunteering to organize the treats on a silver platter to which the former obliged with the request.
" how are you holding up?"
Shoto answered truthfully.
" so far it's exactly as you described it."
At that Momo chuckled nervously as she said.
" I'm sorry about mother…. She can be a bit blunt….. at times…."
At that Shoto gave her a reassuring smile.
" Endea… dad used to be just as blunt, so it didn't catch me off guard."
As Momo finished pouring the tea she reached for the top cabinet where her father kept some honey from the old country as Shoto asked curiously.
" does your dad have a sweet tooth?"
Momo, delighted to talk a bit more about her family, explained with a smile on her face.
" not necessarily, but it's an Italian tradition and custom."
Shoto at that nodded.
" seems like an interesting subject to learn about."
As the two finished in the kitchen, the two strolled out of the kitchen to witness a hushed conversation between Momo's parents as their daughter instinctively knew that the two were discussing a serious issue.
" care to share what's on your minds mama and papa?"
Ottavio and Marikoto said in unison.
" it's about you still wanting to be a law maker."
Momo's frustrations began to surface as her father quickly noticed.
" please don't worry
my angel, I was going to say that I'll give you my full blessing on one definite condition."
Still weary Momo asked the following.
" and that condition might be what?"
Ottavio smiled warmly and knowingly.
" we'll give you our blessing if you'll have someone to back you up financially."
Knowing her father reasoning behind said condition Momo bit the bullet as she asked.
" like who?"
Marikoto at that took the reigns as she asked point blank.
" someone like Todoroki here, up for the challenge?"
Shoto returned the favor by saying.
" I'd like to know more before I make up my mind."
As marikoto convinced her daughter to leave the room to have a " girl talk" the two men were left in the living room as Shoto took the opportunity to serve old man Yaoyorozu his cup of tea.
" thank you."
Shoto at that replied politely as he eventually cut right to the chase.
" this isn't just about campaign funds is it?"
Ottavio smirked as he remarked.
" you're truly a sharp man, so I'll level with you… I'm an old fashioned man, a traditional one as well…. I believe one should both have material wealth as well as an emotional one… are you following me so far?"
Shoto at that nodded.
" you want me to date your daughter and possibly even marry her in the future."
Old man Yaoyorozu sighed a sigh of relief before Shoto politely indicated that he should listen.
" let me make myself clear, I do not look favorably on arranged relationships or marriages, plus I will not under any circumstances repeat my father's actions, I will however vow to protect your daughter to the best of my abilities until she finds her happiness and even after."
A strange smirk etched on Ottavio's face as he declared.
" exactly how I figured you'd answer."
With that said and done the evening continued to its conclusion as late evening rolled around with Momo escorting Shoto to the front gate.
" so….. thanks for coming over."
Shoto smiled softly.
" thank you for having me over, we should do this more often."
As the two got closer to the gate Shoto began concentrating as he made another hair pin out of fire and ice, this time making a perfect replica of it on his first try.
" you actually practiced it…."
nodding up and down slightly Shoto asked to put it on Momo's hair and while he was at it he planted a small kiss on her cheek stating.
" I owed you one from last time."
An awkward yet comfortable silence fell between them as Shoto left the Yaoyorozu house he continued towards home with a pleasant smile on his face. Once he returned homme he was greeted by an expecting Rei Todoroki.
" did I wake you?"
Rei nodded sideways saying.
" it's still a bit strange, like he's still here but not….. but enough about that, how did the evening go?"
Shoto at that replied with.
" let's talk about it tomorrow, there's lots to tell."
Just as he promised as tomorrow came he talked in great detail with his mother as he noticed that at some point she wasn't paying that much attention as she was staring into the distance.
" am I beginning to bore you mom?"
Rei at that simply replied with.
" oh no that's not boredom, I simply can't wait to meet her formally."
Shoto gave her a genuine smile saying.
" you'll be neeting her shortly I hope."
With that said and done, a few months have already passed as Ojiro's and Hagakure's wedding date drew even nearer. On his patrol route on his way home Shoto passed by a local theater as the young hero thought to himself.
' a date at the movie theater…. Sounds appropriate…'
With that said and done Shoto made his way closer to the theater as he scanned what was currently playing, nothing stuck out at first until one title popped out in his eyes, Highlander, an anniversary release. Checking it's release date it read march 1986 as he muttered to himself.
" an old one, should I watch it first?, should I do research about it?"
Against his instincts Shoto decided on none of that as he searched when the movie was showing before making a call to Momo, with the call connecting shoto cleared his throat as he was slightly nervous for some reason.
" hey there….. are you free next Tuesday afternoon?"
Momo at that replied on the other line.
' sorry but no, what about Thursday though?'
Shoto could only nod as he said.
" that sounds fine. See you then?"
A stifled giggle escaped over the phone indicating that it was indeed a date before Shoto continued on with his day. The week came and went as Thursday arrived just as quickly with Shoto dressed in casual yet respectable clothing with Momo by his side turning a few heads for the reasons people might suspect though her outfit was just as casual yet respectful. As the two entered the theater they quickly bought a few light snacks and drinks before heading to the designated screening room, as they entered the space itself wasn't over crowded yet teeming with life as the audience consisted of a few older people and quite a bit of couples, from middle schoolers to adults their age or older.
" must be a classic."
Shoto concurred.
" I guess it is."
Surprised Momo asked.
" is this your first time seeing too?"
Shoto shrugged as both of them found their assigned seats.
" I decided against watching it by myself, didn't want to ruin the experience."
After a brief few minutes of commercials, trailers and an instructional video on how to behave in the cinema, yes, apparently they needed those even in this day and age, however that isn't important as much as the fact that the first few minutes of the movie in question caught most who haven't seen it a million times by surprise, from the blood red text being narrated by a heavily accented Scotsman to a rocking song called Princes of the universe followed by a wrestling match being juxtaposed with a mysterious man having vivid visions of a battlefield on the highlands in Scotland all to wrap up with a sword fight between that mystery man and another oddball in an underground parking lot only to end up in a clean decapitation and a storm of lightning and explosions as Shoto could only think in both shock and undeniable curiosity.
' what have I gotten myself into?'
besides him Momo looked just as confused and curious as Shoto, no doubt thinking the same thing as the man who asked her out to this date. As the movie progressed a few details emerged and became clear such as that the title of the movie referred to the main character, a highlander from Scotland named Connor MacLeod who died in battle only to be resurrected as an immortal, by whom exactly it was never revealed, but from what was revealed the movie was essentially a battle tournament between immortals all throughout the ages sprinkled with a bit of romance to add a few more stakes into it.
A couple of hours later with the movie ending the two young heroes strolled leisurely out of the cinema with Shoto escorting Momo through the city as she began a discussion.
" that was….. some movie you've taken me to."
Shoto, still a little rattled and shocked by what a roller coaster of emotions the movie was could only respond with.
" I'll make it up to you I promise."
Confused, Momo asked in return.
" what are you talking about?, I didn't hate it one bit….. though next time let's choose a movie with less decapitations' in them, didn't care much for that part."
Shoto at that added.
" actually I didn't care for the emotional sucker punches myself."
Momo at that genuinely smiled at him saying.
" never thought I'd hear you say that."
Smiling back Shoto countered.
" never thought I'll feel sorry for an immortal either."
With that the two fell into a comfortable silence as a wanna be villain later on began causing a scene near their vicinity.
" never a dull moment when you want or need it."
Shoto at that smirked saying.
" strangely enough I have full confidence in us."
True to his words the pair managed to subdue the villains in a matter of minutes before continuing on to their destination as Momo was deep in thought yet outwardly relaxed, a point that didn't escape the ever observant Shoto.
" is something wrong Momo?"
A little hesitant and distracted Momo replied while Shoto subtly made sure that her distraction wouldn't cause her any kind of embarrassment.
" oh it's just a silly notion that movie stuck in my head, it's unimportant really."
Shoto in return did what he was best at, being real and genuine.
" yeah the movie itself was silly but the ideas and themes weren't, being immortal and watching everyone you love grow old and die, effectively leaving you behind?, that's a depressing idea to think about."
Momo at that solemnly nodded as she found the courage to air what was bothering her.
" is it really that scary as the idea that you could grow old just as fast without doing something meaningful with your life?"
At that Shoto surprised Momo by resting his hand around her waist as he made sure to close the distance between them as he whispered.
" I guess we can only try and make forever our today."
Getting comfortable in his embrace Momo asked curiously.
" are you quoting the song?"
Shoto admitted.
" yeah well I can't help but pay attention."
Momo, inspired by his honesty replied in return.
" one of the things I love about you."
Realizing what she said Momo began blushing slightly as Shoto cleared his throat discretely as they both passed a Japanese- Italian restaurant.
" should we have something to eat?"
Momo at that sighed a sigh of relief being grateful that Shoto's people skills has improved since U.A. As the two went inside they soon found themselves seated by a nearby table overlooking the street as they continued conversing with each other about the movie and various other topics. By the time they were finished Shoto was escorting Momo towards the train station as she asked him out of the blue.
" hey, how do you really feel about me?"
Before Shoto could even reply Momo rephrased her question.
" if you for whatever reason would outlive me, would you still remember me on my birthday?"
At first Shoto replied with.
"no."
Before the disappointment could set in Shoto continued.
" I'll remember you every day for the rest of my life."
Brought to a few tears of joy, surprise and relief Momo responded with.
" and it only took a few years, several months and a two hours movie to finally say it."
Shoto at that slightly smirked as he shrugged.
"honestly it could've been a few decades otherwise."
At that Momo gave him a deadpan stare saying.
" that's not as funny or charming as you thought it was."
Inching closer and closer to each other Shoto continued with a sly smirk.
" I don't think, I know."
their kissing began small as they became a bit more prolonged, nothing too graphic mind you but the passion was clearly there as Momo asked.
" is this the real Shoto Todoroki I know?"
Shoto at that replied with no hesitation.
" this is the Shoto Todoroki I'll show to no one else but you."
With that said and done the kissing continued for a bit longer as Momo simply stated.
"my….. don't you know how to make a girl… feel….. special."
At some point the pair stopped before any of them could cause a scene and attract any unwanted attention as Shoto cleared his throat while checking his phone.
" let's get you to the train station and safely home."
The pair at that relaxed once again as they traversed through the streets to the nearest station with Momo buying a ticket to a destination he didn't recognize saying.
" how about I'll escort you all the way home this time?"
Momo at that asked him with what seemed like a tinge of annoyance.
" aren't you being a little overprotective?"
Shoto at that answered sincerely.
" not when it comes to making sure you're safe, besides I promised your dad as well."
Said "annoyance" was replaced by a small and genuine laugh as they made it to the platform. Once the train pulled in both of them got on board. As the train zoomed along through the stations so the rest of the months remaining until the wedding day of Ojiro and Hagakure. The ceremony itself was held in the Japanese traditional way and while all the proceedings went according to plan no one could or would suspect that someone or something was observing them from afar. As the ceremony ended and the newly wed couple left as Mr. Yagi approached the trio of Todoroki ,Bakugo and Midoriya.
" I am here as a proud and an overly emotional teacher!"
Bakugo pointed out flatly.
" you're the same as always, do you need something from us?"
Smirking the former symbol of peace stated.
" just sharing an update from Hawks, we arranged for you updated new suits, they'll be waiting for you at the central H.P. S.C building if you need it."
As Bakugo and Midoriya thanked their former teacher and idol, they went their separate way as Shoto stayed behind.
" my condolences for your loss young Todoroki, I hope you're doing alright."
Shoto nodded as he caught a glimpse of Momo having a great time talking with the rest of their classmates as he responded.
" I'd like to think that I'm on the right track."
Mr. Yagi sighed a sigh of relief stating.
" that's reassuring, speaking of, would you deliver the following message to your father?"
Shoto's only reply was.
" it would be an honor."
Allmight at that cleared his throat.
" we were rivals, always competing, always pushing ourselves further and higher….. and in the end you've won, while my bloodline will die with me, yours will get to live on trough the generations to come, so be proud wherever you are."
Feeling a bit emotional, Shoto could only nod saying.
" I believe he would've appreciate it too."
Without skipping a beat Shoto moved on to his next question.
" any updates on Mindhunter?"
Allmight chuckled a bit.
"So far nothing to raise alarms over but better be safe than sorry."
Shoto at that pointed out.
" hence the updates to our suit."
Mr. yagi at that chuckled.
" nothing escapes you young Todoroki"
Shoto at that mused.
" not so young anymore."
At that Mr. Yagi caught on to what Shoto said as posed a question.
" there's a phrase in Latin, Crpes Diem, you know of it?"
Shoto nodded a yes saying.
" seize the day."
As Mr. Yagi left Shoto Todoroki made the following phone call.
" hey mom, I know it's a bit sudden but can you make dinner tonight?, I'm inviting someone special over."
Rei Todoroki recognizing the tone and understanding exactly what her son meant simply replied with.
' say no more.'
Waiting for Momo to be left alone Shoto approached her as he wrote a text on his cellphone as he hit send, checking her messages she saw an adress written in it and a time and date. Sharing smirks between the two of them she noted.
" you've learned fast."
Shoto simply replied.
" you're a wonderful teacher."
Momo at that smirked as she leaned in closer on him.
" flatterer."
Shoto at that gave a small genuine smile as he dead panned.
" only when it's working."
With that said and done the guests soon left the venue chosen for the wedding, each continuing on with their lives as usual, with a few in specific were being watched by a mysterious individual. Later in the day around early evening Shoto was expecting Momo by the entrance to the Todoroki estate, however he was surprised when two individuals with predominantly white hair greeted him.
" Evening Shoto."
Delighted by the greeting Shoto quickly put together what happened.
" it's good to see you Fuyumi, you too Natsuo, do I need to thank mom for this visit?"
Fuyumi, Shoto's older sister replied meekly.
" I sort of invited myself."
Before the conversation could continue Fuyumi excused herself with the pretense of wanting to help mom in the kitchen leaving the oldest brother Natsuo with Shoto in a comfortable yet awkward silence.
" listen…. I need to clear the air here…."
Shoto at that stopped him saying.
" you don't need to explain yourself, you're a man of your words and dad always commended you for that."
Natsuo Todoroki at that relaxed as he sighed.
" well it's still strange knowing he's not around anymore…. Rest easy you maniac…."
Shoto mused at his older brother's strange signs of affection.
" somethings never change."
Natsuo at that commented with a little more mirth in his voice.
" apparently you have a girlfriend now."
Shoto allowed himself a small and genuine smirk on his face as Momo was approaching the Todoroki estate.
" and there she is right on time."
As the scene unfolded between the trio the mysterious figure unveiled himself to be a version of a reformed Mindhunter, only this time he looked like a skinless human with a mixture of purples with the blue along with the smiley face with the mind's eye, disappearing before anyone could even register he was there to begin with.
