This is an SI-OC Fic, so incredibly self-indulgent. I'll still try to make a meaningful story (keyword try)

For more information, go to the end of the chapter.

Enjoy.

Life truly is strange. One moment you are happily crossing a street, not a thought In your mind, the next you are given birth to and being held in the arms of a beautiful pink-haired woman, while a tit is shoved in your mouth.

That's the situation he encountered himself in, in the arms of a woman, his new mother he guessed, and was being offered being fed, which he, obviously not having the mind of a baby, didn't accept of course.

'so… What the fuck happened' He finally asked himself.

At that moment, a man entered. A… 'Man with… fox ears? What the fuck'

It was truly a weird situation he encountered himself in.

"How are you doing, honey?" asked the fox-eared man, his father.

"I'm doing good… the birth went better than I thought," his mother said. "We have a baby girl," she said, with a beaming smile. At that moment his father started celebrating.

'... Is that Japanese? What. The. Fuck?'

Combo

~4 Months old~

'These ears are cute…' After 4 Months of her new life (And yes, "her"... Apparently she also got gender-bent), she finally got access to a mirror.

"What?! Honey! The baby is walking!" Her father said.

'Something about walking?... Ah right… I'm a 4-month-old baby walking, so it makes sense they are surprised… Though I guess my body is still not developed enough, I'm already tired,'

Back on all fours, she kept looking at herself. 'So I got my mom's pink hair and a pair of fox ears and a tail from my dad. I have to say, I will be quite the cutie when I'm older… I wonder if I'll be able to wear earphones?' She proceeds to shove a finger inside her ears. '...Maybe?'

Learning Japanese hasn't been as slow as she thought it would be, her main theory is that her being a baby makes it easier for her to learn the Language 'Though it could be just a random perk the entity that put me here gave me… Either way, I'm glad. I'm still nowhere able to completely understand Japanese, but I'm getting there… soon I'll know my own name.'

"Aww… I missed it…" Lamented her mother, not being able to see her baby walk for the first time.

~8 Months old~

Kei Inari. Inari being the surname 'Finally I figured It out…'. Her parents barely ever said her name, preferring to just call her nicknames, which made it quite hard to figure out her own name, the same could be said about their names, which she still didn't know.

Originally she was going to act the part of a baby, but she got tired fast and decided to just be an "Intelligent baby". Now her parents are sure she has an Intelligence Quirk, and Kei is completely unaware.

'The hair in my ears is almost done growing, and my tail is slowly getting fluffier… cute' Kei thought. Her parents looked at her with big smiles.

Kei looked at her smiling parents. 'Hmm… I guess I'll try to give them a good surprise'

"Aa… aaa… Mama" Kei said, pointing at her mother.

"Ah! O-o-o-oh my god! Did you hear that honey?! Sh-she called me Mama! Her first words!" Her mother said, almost hyperventilating.

"I-I did, Mayumi! This is great!" Her father said, also excited.

'So my mother's name is Mayumi?' Kei thought.

Kei pointed at her father "Papa" She said.

"... H-Honey!" Said the father, containing his excitement.

"I recorded it!" Said the mother, internally screaming because she couldn't record her daughter saying mama.

"I'll call my mother and tell her! Make sure this day is marked, Takumi!" Threatened her mother.

"Yes ma'am!" Said the father.

'And my father is Takumi… Noted' Thought Kei, watching her parents in amusement, still barely able to understand them.

~3 Years old~ ~Mayumi POV~

"Come on, baby… It won't be that bad, you will make friends!" Mayumi said.

"Ugh… Okay, I guess…" Kei said.

Mayumi led her daughter to the daycare. Originally they thought that it was a good idea to let her just stay at their home when they are not home. "Since she is so smart, she can take care of herself in the house" was what they thought, and they were right. But then they realized something… if they leave her alone in the house, she will grow up to be a lonely child! And once again, they were right.

"Just make a couple of friends, okay? It's not healthy to not have any… I'm sure you'll find someone nice here" she said.

Her daughter looked at her with a deadpan expression. It was truly amazing how her child could be so intelligent… She and her father once decided to give her a math book to see how far she could go. She proceeded to read the whole book AND understand most of it, Mayumi didn't even know what an integral was until her own daughter explained it!

But she knows smart people usually isolate themselves… And she doesn't want her own daughter to go through that. As such, she decided to send her to a daycare when they were not home. Mayumi is more than aware that her daughter will struggle to find someone to call a friend, but she still hopes that she will find someone to her liking.

A woman with a ponytail and an apron covered with paint splashes greeted them and then took her daughter inside. A short wave later, her daughter entered the building.

'Good luck, my sunshine!'

~Kei POV~

'This place sucks…' Thought Kei.

Right now she was at the back of the building, where the children had an open-air space to 'wreak chaos'.

'Mom said to find a friend' She looked around at the place… 'Only unruly children here… Lovely' not that she expected anything else, this is a place for children after all.

'Though I can see a lot of children with strange looks… Is that a fucking child with the head of a rhinoceros?' She decided to make her place at the sand pit, most of the children just ran around the place, so it was almost empty apart from other children playing on it.

So she sat on the sand cross-legged and started meditating for about an hour until another child approached her, a girl that looked to be her same age, she didn't have any defining features apart from the bowl-shaped black hair she had. They locked eyes, and then Kei closed her eyes and kept meditating. The girl decided to sit a short distance away from her and start silently playing in the sand.

~1 week later~

Kei sat in the same sand pit, cross-legged and trying to meditate. Keyword trying, because the same girl that approached her a week back still sat on the same sand pit, playing silently and lonely on the sand, which caught her attention. 'She doesn't have any friends? It's been a week of this and she is always playing alone… Maybe she approached me that day to try and be friends? Aw, man now I feel like a douche…' After careful consideration, she walked over to her and sat beside her. Kei was sure she saw the girl briefly widen her eyes, before taking the same expressionless face she always seemed to have.

"Kei Inari," She said.

"... Yui Kodai," The girl, Yui, said.

'Have I heard that name before?' Kei thought, before deciding not to think about it.

"You don't mind if I sit here, right?" The fox girl asked.

"I don't…" Yui said.

"Well, then… wanna be friends?" Kei asked.

For the second time, Yui widened her eyes, before going back to expressionless and looking away. "Okay…" Kei swore she had the tiniest of smiles on her face.

Yui denied it vehemently.

~3 Weeks later~

'Well… At least I know where I ended up now.' That was what Kei was thinking at the moment, watching one of the kids in the Daycare transform his hand into a literal hammer while boasting about his "Quirk" to a group of amazed children.

'It had to be the biggest bully in the Daycare to manifest his quirk first of course… But My Hero Academia, huh? I guess all of the strange mutations I've seen since my birth make sense now.

"It would've been 100 times better if any other kid manifested his Quirk first" Kei lamented. Yui silently agreed with a nod.

During the next couple of months, multiple kids manifested their Quirks, including Yui, who had a Quirk that let her change the size of inanimate objects. "Cool Quirk," Said Kei after watching her enlarge a tiny rock to triple its original size. While she didn't show it, Yui was quite happy about the compliment.

Kei asked her parents about their Quirks. Her father can telekinetically move sand, while her mother can change the shape of glass with her hands, so if she manifests a quirk, it will probably be a combination of both.

Her own Quirk manifested later than the rest of the kids, about 3 months after her 4th birthday. Some kids tried to bully her but got bored fast after realizing that she didn't pay them any attention, all except the hammer kid, who insisted on calling her Quirkless.

One day, the kid took it a step above, hitting her tail with his hammer hand. "Agh! You… Bastard!" Said Kei, glaring at the hammer-kid. At that moment, the sand in the sand pit lifted off the ground, creating a mini sandstorm in the area around the sand pit, then some of the sand started clumping together and becoming shards of spiked glass that circled around the kid.

Kei was brought out of her anger after realizing what she was doing. "...!" She stopped moving the sand and started thinking, completely ignoring the terrified face of the hammer kid. 'So it is a combination of my parent's quirks…' She seemed calm on the surface, and also while thinking… but deep on the inside, she was gushing about how cool her quirk was.

She looked back at the kid. "I'm not going to overlook what you just did, but I'm going to try to put a good word for you since you did help me trigger my Quirk. You are coming with me or I'm making you." Kei said, glaring at the kid, who nodded frantically.

"Yui, can you come with me? It would be good to have a witness" Kei said.

"Okay, I was getting tired of him," She said with the same expressionless face, though Kei did see a small smirk on her face.

They brought Hammer Kid to one of the workers and explained the situation, and the kid's and Kei's parents were called 'Also, the poor worker looked like she aged a couple of years after hearing me talk. poor her'. A couple of minutes later, both her father and the kid's mother came to the Daycare. After some explaining, the mother profusely apologized to Takumi and left with her grumpy child.

"So, you manifested your quirk? That's great, Kei!" Said the proud father, lifting her daughter up into the air. "So? What is it?" He asked, excited.

"A combination of yours and mom's quirks," She said."I would like to show you, but that wouldn't be safe…"

"It's okay… I'm just glad you have a Quirk now! Should we go home? Your mom should be getting there soon." Takumi asked.

"Hm… Ok, let's go" Her father put her on the ground. Kei walked to Yui "Bye, Yui. Next time I'll let you comb my tail" She said, Yui slightly perked up at that.

"You better remember that promise," Yui looked quite serious.

'Maybe she likes fluffy things?' Kei thought, looking at her tail. 'It is really fluffy' Kei's favorite way to sleep was hugging her tail. She smiled. "Well then, see ya," Kei said, turning around and walking away, moving her tail from side to side. Yui watched the tail intently.

~Quirk Doctor~

"Her quirk is an Emitter. It seems to be a combination of both of your Quirks. Taking into account the relation between sand and glass, it does make sense that she can make sand into glass at will" The doctor said, watching from behind a reinforced glass how Kei manipulated the sand around her, converting it into glass and vice-versa. "Here you have a form to fill. You'll need to put a name and a brief description of her Quirk. It's not necessary to give us this form right now since you'll have to come up with a name. I suggest talking about it with your daughter since it is her Quirk."

Takumi took the form. "Thanks for your help." He said.

The doctor pressed a button. "You can come outside now," He said. A door opened, and Kei walked from there.

"So, what do we do now?" Kei asked. Her father showed her the form. "So a name… hmm…"

"You don't have to fill it now, we have time to come up with a name and description," Takumi said.

"...Well, I'll think about a name then," Kei said, then yawned.

"Guess it's time to go," Mayumi said, picking up Kei, who was slowly falling asleep. "That must've been tiring, she is almost out,"

'Damn this body' Kei cursed in her mind.

~Daycare~

'Is it just me or are those kids evading me?' Thought Kei, seeing how the group of bullies steered clear of her. 'Well, more peace for me'

She started practicing her Quirk, now named "Sand Arts". The sand pit basically became her personal training ground since none of the kids except her and Yui used it. She started by carefully moving the sand around her, then trying to make a simple clump of glass. The sand started to approach the point where the glass was forming, taking a glowing orange color because of the heat generated by the process, and then cooling down. What resulted was a spiked piece of sharp glass. She willed it to move around, digging it into the sand pit, then pulling it out. 'It seems I can move the glass I make without a problem' She thought, starting to turn the glass back into sand.

'... Wait… would that work?' Kei looked at Yui. "Yui, could you use your Quirk on a grain of sand? Make it as big as your palm." Yui nodded and took a single grain of sand, growing it into the size of her palm.

Kei looked at the sand and tried to use her Quirk. And the sand moved. "Ohh… Not so useful if I'm not with you, but still really cool" She tried to turn it into glass, but couldn't. "Weird… Well, whatever," Kei dropped the grain of sand on Yui's palm, who proceeded to turn it back into its normal size.

Kei sighed, then grabbed her tail and started grooming it with her hands. '...Oh! I know what to do!' She pulled sand from the pit with her Quirk and slowly started turning it into a glass comb. What resulted was a simple wide-tooth comb without a handle. She inspected it for any imperfections and sharp parts and then started combing her tail. 'It's pretty sturdy for something made of glass… Maybe I can change the hardness of the glass I make?' Stopping her brushing, she pulled more sand and made a glass sphere, trying to make it as hard and sturdy as possible, then threw it at the edge of the sand pit. 'It didn't break… Let's try something more fragile' She repeated the process, instead making the sphere more fragile, then threw it at the edge of the sand pit. 'This one did break… Interesting,' She lifted the glass fragments and turned them back into sand. 'I'll keep experimenting later…' With her experiments done, she kept combing her tail. '... I still prefer the brush my mother bought me…'

~Elementary school~ ~6 Years old~

'Elementary isn't any better…' Lamented Kei. Turns out kids are always annoying. 'Except Yui, she is really nice to be around,' She thought. "So, where do we sit?" Kei asked Yui.

"How about there?" She said, pointing at the corner seats.

"Sounds good to me." They both walked and sat in the corner seats.

Elementary was incredibly uninteresting for Kei. The only important thing she learned that she didn't know before was Quirk history, starting from the Dawn of Quirks. 'Though I did notice a big lack of All for One. I guess it makes sense they want to keep his existence a secret from the populace…'

During the next 6 years before Junior High, Kei kept practicing her Quirk control. During that time, she started experimenting with possible fighting styles, and she found that she quite liked using a sword, especially one made of glass. So she started familiarizing herself with the process of making a sword to the point that she could do it without even thinking about the process.

Then she asked her parents to let her learn how to use it.

"Nope! No no no! Nuh-uh! You are too young!" Her mother said.

"Maybe when you are older," Her father said.

'Guess I'll just have to wait. What do I do then… Gate of Babylon with glass swords! And chains made of glass!' She thought.

Absolute genius.

~11 Years old~

Her last days in Elementary were probably the most hectic she'd had since she reincarnated… especially with the whole hostage situation happening on the grounds of the school at this very moment. "No one moves or I kill the kid!" The man said, holding his blade arm to the throat of the kid.

Heroes were already there, but they couldn't do anything considering the villain was inches away from slitting the throat of the poor kid. 'And I am a single glass window away from the nut job, lucky' Thought Kei. It was clear that the heroes wouldn't be able to do anything, so she decided to put her training to the test. It was incredibly reckless and stupid, but this was the perfect moment to use her glass chains to restrain the man.

As such, she touched the glass window, it taking a hot orange color, then breaking into multiple pieces that rapidly formed a chain that wrapped the man's arm and threw him to the ground. Another chain wrapped around the kid and moved him out of the way and into safety. "Get this… Thing off me! Gahhh!" Yelled the man, trying and failing to free himself from the sturdy glass chain wrapped around his wrist. Another glass chain wrapped around his other free hand, restraining him and letting the police approach the man.

"Who made this chain?" Asked one of the police officers. At that, Kei peeked her head over the broken glass window. "It was you? You did good, though I don't encourage Vigintalism" He said, taking a pair of Quirk-suppressing handcuffs and putting them on one of the wrists of the Villain.

"Let me help you there," said Kei, moving the chains so that both hands were close enough to put the handcuffs.

"Thanks." He said, finally putting the cuffs on the man's wrists.

"Should I just unbind him?" Kei asked.

"Yeah, we can take it from here. An officer will stay here to call your parents for your Vigintalism, but we'll put on a good word for you since you did help us" He said. Kei turned the chains into sand and moved it into the broken window. The sand formed a new glass window. "That's one great Quirk" Said the officer, before leaving with the Villain.

"That was so cool, Kei!" One of the kids in the classroom said. "I didn't know your Quirk was so strong!"

'If only they saw my Gate of Babylon… Gate of Glass? I have to come up with a name…'

A while later, her parents came to the school and were told about Kei's actions. She didn't get into much trouble since she was young and that was the only case of Vigilantism she ever had, also the officers put in a good word for her. 'I will go a month without sweets, so that kinda sucks…' Kei lamented.

Her last elementary school days passed fast, and finally, it was time for Junior High.

~12 years old~ ~Junior High~

Kei sat at a corner of the school, to her side was Yui. Both were silently waiting for the start of their class. When something poked the back of Kei's head. She looked back and saw nothing. From the side, Yui was holding her hand to her mouth while chuckling. Another poke to the head, and she again turned around to see nothing. "Who is it?" Kei said.

"Up here," A feminine voice said. Kei looked up, and she saw half a flying torso with a head. The girl had green eyes and dark green wavy hair, her teeth were also pointy, And she was smiling at Kei. "Hello~ I'm Setsuna Tokage! You are really pretty, let's be friends!" The girl, now identified as Setsuna Tokage said, holding her hand to Kei for a handshake.

Kei watched the girl, stunned.

Another Gender-bent MC! No one can stop me HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

If I make another story I'll do the same again, so get used to it.

Before doing anything else, I'll try to explain how Kei looks since I was pretty vague.

Originally she was going to look like Lin Yushia from Arknights, but I decided to (try to) make an OC. The powers are still the same as hers though, being Sand Arts.

I would say she is about 40 to 50 percent me, so more of a Semi-SI. I decided to apply some of my own physical characteristics, but only tiny things like moles.

She is a fox girl (Yay)

By the time she is 15, Her height will be 163cm.

Pink neck-length hair that gets wavier in the lower part with also pink ears. And that fluffy part on the inside of the ears is white.

Her tail is also pink with a white end.

Her eyes are like Hinata's from Naruto.

Mole between the eye and the nose.

She is a fox, so I made her canines really pointy.

Also, she has astigmatism, so she uses glasses.

That's it, now information wowowow

This fic is an SI/Semi-SI, so it's obvious that it will be pretty self-indulgent. I'll still make sure to not make the MC Overpowered. (Which will probably be easier compared to my other two fics, since her powers aren't stupidly broken like Maeve's Runecraft or Avery's literal Time control)

Her Quirk is a lot like Lin Yushia's (Arknights) sand arts. (Go watch the "Where vernal winds will never blow" teaser (0:52), that should give you an idea of her powers)

Kei won't make many changes to the story, mostly because she will forget most of the things that happen in canon. (especially because for 3 years she had no idea where she was, so most things were already out of her mind.)

Still, if you care, I put her story knowledge (Very fragmented knowledge) up to the "Provisional License Exam" Arc, so she has no idea about Eri, Deku's other quirks, and anything that goes beyond that Arc.

Don't expect a Tear-jerker type of story or any important character deaths, this story will be mostly fun fights, character interactions, and some romance here and there.

I'm thinking of putting Kei on 1-B and modifying the main storyline a bit, but only things that I think would make sense, like putting 1-B present on some important canon events like U.S.J.

But what do YOU think? Should I put Kei on 1-A or 1-B?

Romance should be obvious for this one… "Runic" also has Yui, so I thought of changing it up… but she deserves more love godammit. Fuck anyone who disagrees.

Now an Omake.

~~Fluffy Tail Privilege~~

Yui sat on the ground, watching Kei's tail intently, a brush on her hand. "H-How do I start?" She asked. She has been waiting for this moment for months. The moment she saw Kei's tail, the only thought that crossed her mind was 'I want to touch it'. And now, she was closer than ever. that beautiful pink tail was in front of her, at arm's length. And she had permission to touch it.

"Just start brushing like you would your hair. Be gentle though, I rarely let even my parents touch my tail, never mind brush it. You don't want to miss that privilege," Kei said with a teasing smile. Yui tensed at the possibility.

"O-Ok… I'll start…" Slowly and carefully, she started brushing, Making sure to not go too fast. It was honestly amazing how well taken care of her tail was, the whole time she did not encounter a single tangled hair, it was smooth all the way.

Kei let out a pleased sigh. "Hmm… You are doing good" She said, then started humming and slightly moving her head from side to side. She started playing with the sand in a box in the corner of her room, turning it into glass and making simple shapes.

A while later, Yui finished brushing Kei's tail. Looking at her, she looked quite sleepy. "Hmm… Guess I'll let you." Kei said, sitting in a seiza position beside Yui and moving her tail beside her, tapping the floor with it. "You may rest your head on my tail," She said with a dignified tone. Yui wasted no time in placing her head in the tail.

'Ahh… Heaven~' Yui thought, enjoying the blissful feeling of the groomed tail. Shortly after, she fell asleep, no longer resisting the oasis of fluff.

Kei watched the sleeping Yui, proud of the power of her tail.

Kei was humming "Quiet Romance" by Yuki Kajiura. (My favorite Yuki Kajiura song)

I'll start making Omakes for my other fics when I have ideas. Most of the ones in this fic will probably be Kei and Yui interactions. (or maybe some other characters that get Fluffy Fail Privileges) (Which 1-A and 1-B students will get Fluffy Tail Privileges? We'll see)
