Wow, a fast chapter… That's new.

I wrote this chapter while listening to Los Bunkers.

Anyway

Enjoy.

"Well that's annoying." Kei voiced her thoughts looking at the mob of reporters in front of the U.A. gate.

"It is…" Yui agreed.

"They seem to want to meet All Might… Kei, they'll hound you for questions, you're the one that had classes with him." Monoma said, pity in his eyes

"I don't think they'll know… I'll just ignore them anyway"

Monoma looked at Kei with a "Are you sure about that?" Expression.

"Umm… can you guys help me?"

"It's every man for himself, Kei" Setsuna said, before splitting in two and flying away at fast speeds.

"Hey, wait!" Monoma, at the last second, copied Setsuna's quirk and did the same. "Good luck!"

"Traitors! I'll make you pay!" Kei angrily shouted. "Well… what now…"

"We'll just have to go through them, come on," Yui said, already resigned to her fate.

"Wait. Give me your hand, I don't want to get lost in the mob" Kei said, taking Yui's hand.

"... Ok…" The sudden physical contact made her heart almost give out, but she powered through. One would think that with the amount of time she has spent touching her ears and tail, this wouldn't be much, but those are natural for her. Hand-holding was an amount of skinship she didn't expect anytime soon. They might as well be kissing.

What hormones do to someone…

Kei didn't think about it too much, Yui had touched her ears more than once. Holding hands is nothing.

As such, Kei and Yui moved through the mob of All Might hungry reporters. Multiple questions were thrown their way, but they both ignored them all.

More than once did someone try to stop them. But Yui had one hell of an intimidating face when she wanted to use it. No one would interrupt this unprecedented romantic moment she was in. If anyone dared to, the consequences would be dire.

Scary…

Kei felt as if she was forgetting something, this feeling became more prominent when her sights landed on a mop of grayish-blue hair ominously looking at the U.A. gate. That person seemed to notice her stare, and they exchanged glances. Kei did not look for long though, as a sickly feeling came to her body.

She was forgetting something, something important.

'I don't like this… I want to get out of here' She sped up, or else her breakfast would come out of her body in front of all these reporters.

That would not be a good look for her.

Soon, they had passed the gate and entered the U.A. campus. On the other side, Aizawa was waiting, probably to make sure no reporters got funny ideas. "You are the last ones. Go to class"

"Yes, sir…" Kei responded.

"... No dating on campus," He said, before turning back to the reporters.

'Hm? What does he mean by that?' Her teacher's words confused her, but then she looked down at her hand… which was still tightly holding onto Yui's. "Ah…" She hastily retrieved her hand. "Sorry…"

"It's ok… I don't mind," The last part was barely a whisper, but Kei heard it perfectly and decided not to comment.

The sickly feeling went away.

~1-A Classroom~

'This is a zoo…' Is what Kei thought. After briefly evaluating everyone's performance in yesterday's exercise, Aizawa announced that they would choose a class president, and then happily went to sleep, probably already used to the maelstrom that formed whenever it was time to choose a representative.

Everyone wanted to be class president. A lot of successful heroes were also class representatives in their formative years, and are generally more trusted by the association for their leadership, as such, this position is quite desired by aspiring heroes.

Kei though… 'Nope, no way. Forget about it,' was against getting the position at all. Don't get her wrong, she knows it would be beneficial for her future. But she also knows that it would be like selling your soul to the devil, she has her past life as experience in a position of power, and she was only a treasurer. 'Never again.' The mere thought of reliving that experience made her sick.

Ida, through his clear desire to also be representative, shown by his highly raised hand, proposed a vote. The class hadn't had enough time to bond and know each other, but it was still a decent enough option. As such, the vote proceeded.

'Even if he is a little loud about his desire to be president, It still seems like Ida could be a good president…' Kei voted for Ida. Soon enough, the vote was finished.

'Someone voted for me… Who could it be?' Isn't the answer obvious?

"O-Only one vote… Khhgg Whoever it was. Thank you!" Ida said, saddened, but also glad that at least one person voted for him.

In the end, Midoriya and Yaoyorozu ended up winning. The poor lad was a shaking mess in front of the class. 'Hopefully, he gets over it'

~Cafeteria~

'Lunch rush, I love you' A sudden love confession. 'Why is his food so good?!' Her mother's food will always have a place in her heart, but this food is something else entirely. There were no words to describe how tasty it was. Only tears of happiness can express how good the food was. 'If I was a poor transmigrator that had to work her ass off, with barely any worthwhile meals in months, this would be heaven…'

…That was weirdly specific… anyway.

"I'm just a little worried about whether or not I can really be class president…" Midoriya said, clearly nervous about his position. It seemed as if it was a first for him.

'Bless his soon-to-be overworked soul'

"You can" "Worry not," Uraraka and Ida said in an attempt to appease their friend's nerves.

"I'm sure it's going to be ok." Kei lied through her teeth.

"Midoriya. Your grit and decisiveness in a pinch make you perfectly suited to lead us all. That's why I voted for you." Ida said.

"But didn't you wanna be president too, Ida? You've got glasses and everything." Uraraka said.

"I also wear glasses." Kei chimed in.

"But… they are not the "intellectual" type of glasses…" Uraraka said, proving that she just says whatever comes to her head, even if it's hurtful.

"Ouch… You didn't need to phrase it like that, Uraraka…" Kei said, clearly hurt by her words.

"Again, ambition and suitability are different matters… I humbly made the choice I felt was correct," Ida said.

"The way you talk… Ida, are you a rich kid?!" Uraraka asked. Once again, this proves that she says whatever comes into her head.

"...I don't like people to know, so I try to hide it, but… Yes. Mine is a renowned hero family. And I am the second son"

"Ohh. I guess your manner of speech makes sense now." Kei said, confusing Ida.

"What do you mean by that?"

"You have a way of speaking that just screams "I'm rich"" Kei seems to be no better than Uraraka.

"R-Really? Ahem… Do you know of the Turbo Hero, Ingenium?" He asked, trying to move away from the previous topic.

"Of course! He employs 65 sidekicks at his office in Tokyo! So you're….!" Midoriya explained enthusiastically.

"How very informed… Yes, he is my brother!" Ida proceeded to praise his brother, explaining how he is his motivation to become a hero.

"Never seen you smile before, Ida." Uraraka said, surprised by his enthusiasm.

"Eh?! Is that so?! I smile on occasion!"

Suddenly a loud, high-pitched alarm resounded through the cafeteria. "Security level 3 has been broken. All students. Please evacuate in an orderly fashion."

"Security level 3? What's that?" Kei asked, confused.

"It means someone's infiltrated the building! Hasn't happened in my three years here! Anyway, hurry up and get outta here!" An upperclassman said.

Soon, the whole exit was being swarmed by a wave of students, making movement hard for everyone. Kei was pinned to the windows overlooking the U.A. gate. 'Are those… reporters?' But something else also caught her attention.

The gate was destroyed. It looked like it had been turned to dust, as if decayed. 'Decay…' A mop of grayish-blue hair. She had seen that specific characteristic before, how could she forget it? Had she been enjoying her life so much that she forgot something so important?

The feeling of sickness came back. The promise of an unlikely future shook her to her core. She had watched the anime and read the manga, but that was years ago. How could she remember every single detail? She hadn't even watched it that much, by the time she stopped watching the anime, there were already a couple more episodes in that season and even more seasons that she hadn't watched, not to mention how advanced the manga was.

Bile threatened to come out of her mouth. 'Why now…'

"Uraraka! Make me float!" She suddenly heard. Doing her best to turn around, she saw Ida floating through the air, and ending up standing in the exit sign. "Everyone… Everything's Fine! It's just the press! There's nothing to panic about. We're fine! This is U.A.! Behave in a way befitting of this great institution!" He shouted. Soon enough, everyone calmed down, and slowly dispersed, either going back to eat or exiting the cafeteria.

'How could I forget… I guess this life was too good, something had to ruin it.' She lamented. Still feeling sick, she decided to go to the bathroom.

"Kei, are you okay?" Someone asked from behind her. It was Uraraka. She looked concerned, noticing how Kei's ears and tail were drooping and her face was pale.

"Y-Yeah… Just a little bit sick. I think the mob pressed me a little bit too hard against the wall, my stomach hurts." She said to appease her a little. Uraraka seemed to not believe her that much, but still let her go, they didn't know each other that much after all.

~Bathroom~

"Bluuuurgh… ugh… This sucks…" Kei said, hunched over the toilet and still feeling sick. "Hgm!" and down went breakfast.

'What can I even do? It's not like I can just waltz into the principal's office and say "Hey! I'm a transmigrator! I know a little bit about the future. Not that much though!" They would think I'm crazy…' And it was the truth. Even if there was some miraculous quirk that let someone discern truth from lie, one could just argue that the person truly believes his delusions. It's not foolproof.

'I can't do anything…' But hasn't she been living her whole life unbothered about the future? 'It's not like one person can change the future. And MHA wasn't necessarily a dark story. I'm sure there will be some deaths, but it's not like I can do anything' It's the truth.

Her vague recollections of the future won't help her change it. The only thing it gives her is a constant reminder that something big is coming. Not exactly comforting. But at least she will be a little bit prepared, and that's better than not knowing anything.

"Hahh… I can only prepare mentally, I guess. It's no use stressing over a future I can't change and of which I barely know anything about." She said with grim resolution.

Her mere presence will already change the future. To what extent, she doesn't know. She would like to think that it would be fairly inconsequential. She is sure that the manga will have a happy ending, and she doesn't want to change that.

She rested her back on the walls of the bathroom cubicle, hugging her tail in an attempt to calm herself down.

"... Now I feel hungry…"

~1-A Classroom~

I believe… That Ida is better suited to be class president!" Midoriya declared, surprising Ida. "You all saw how well he led everyone in that crisis. I think… he's the correct choice for the job." Everyone seemed to agree with Midoriya's words.

'He did act fast after witnessing what was happening. I'm ok with this' Kei thought, raising an approving thumb at Ida.

"Whatever. Just get on with it… What a waste of time." Aizawa said, glaring at Midoriya

"I will accept the job, then!" Ida said, raising his hand in his classic, way too stiff manner of expressing himself.

"Exit sign Ida! Do your best!

~Outside U.A.~

Kei was walking alongside Yui. They had agreed to do one of their usual tail-grooming sessions after class. It had become a normal activity for the both of them, and they got to enjoy some time alone in silence.

"You look troubled… Did something happen?" Yui asked, noticing how the usually peppy and unbothered Kei looked down. The drooping tail and ears did not help her case.

"Would you believe me if I said it was nothing?" Yui just looked at her with a look that screamed "Are you serious?"

She knew it was a useless endeavor, lying to Yui. They had spent so much time together that it made it impossible to lie to each other. Her having features that worked as lie detectors did not help her at all. "... I know I don't look that good, but believe me, I'm gonna get better. I'm just a little bit down for today."

Yui knew this type of interaction. She knew that no matter how much she asked, she would not be able to get whatever was troubling Kei out of her. She was stubborn in the most annoying ways. But as someone who had spent her whole life alongside her, she also knew how to make her feel better. Pampering.

Her canine features did not limit themselves to only a pair of unnaturally sharp ears and a fluffy tail after all.

Yui suddenly took Kei's hand. "Let's go." She said. It was not a suggestion, but an order.

The sudden hand-holding did startle Kei quite a bit. The scene that played in the morning came to her mind, and a blush threatened to overcome her face. 'Huh? Ah? Hueh? ?'

And so, Yui led Kei back to her home. "You guys came back fast," Mayumi noted as both of them speed-walked to Kei's room. "... She really is your daughter, darling," She said to her husband.

"What do you mean by that?" Takumi said, his ears twitching.

That afternoon, Yui discovered that, unsurprisingly, Kei quite likes belly rubs.

She is a canine after all.

I've seen a lot of people in other fanfics, especially OC's and SI's, bitching when a character isn't a stone-cold, calculating robot and they actually get scared. So if you are gonna cry because MC saw Shigaraki and almost had a mental breakdown, go read anything else. He's a psycho who has no problems disintegrating people, I would be scared if I knew he was close, and well... This is an SI. Semi-SI but still SI

Kei was not mentally ready.

In other news: Hand-holding is lewd, and Kei and Yui should be locked up for public indecency. I said I wouldn't add Lemons, but doesn't hand-holding already count as Lemons? Get a room goddammit.

The gall of these people…

When I get into canon conversations, I try to modify them a little to not make them the same as the ones in the source material, since most of us here already read them once. Hopefully, it wasn't that horrible.

Anyway, Omake time!

I had the idea for this one for a while. In fact, it was gonna be one of the first Omakes I would make for an earlier chapter, but I ended up changing it.

This is not canon btw, just for some fun.

I was really close to making it into a Lemon though, just keep that in mind.

I have the power.

~Nine Tails~ ~Omake~ ~Non-Canon~

"Hm? I didn't think you would come today, Yui." Mayumi said. "Anyway, come in come in~ I prepared some sweets!"

"Thanks, mother," Yui said, entering Inari's house.

"Do you want to go directly to Kei's room? Now that I think about it, she hasn't come out of her room all day… Maybe you should check up on her…" Mayumi said.

"I'll do that. Thanks for the sweets." Yui said, before walking to Kei's room. Today was a scheduled tail grooming day. A special benefit that she gained after all the years she had spent as Kei's friend. Contrary to what the name would make you believe, it didn't just include tail grooming, but also tail pillow and ear touching! Kei seemed to quite like the last one, guessing by the way she melted in Yui's touch every time she did it. "I did that" Is what went through her mind every time Kei ended up as nothing more than a goofy, drooling mess with barely any thought on her mind.

Yui grabbed the knob and twisted. Entering the room, she found something unprecedented. On the bed, happily sleeping like a fox, was Kei… But that was not all. On the kotatsu, were four more Kei's. They were chatting about who knows. On one corner, was a sixth Kei. She was hugging her legs and mumbling something unintelligible. Another Kei was comforting that Kei. Another one was gaming on her computer.

This scene was beyond bizarre, but another thing struck her at that time. With foxes, isn't it usually nine? As in nine tails?

She did not have enough time to process that thought before something grabbed her arm. "It's Yui! She's here!" That caught the attention of every other Kei in the room. Like piranhas, they zeroed in to Yui. Every single one of them stood up and approached Yui, all except the scared and gaming one.

"I didn't think she would come today… This is unprecedented." One of them said.

"Hahh… She is so beautiful…. I love that hair… And those kissable lips… Just come here! Mmmmm!" Another one of them said, before lunging at Yui. Another one grabbed her by the tail though.

"Idiot! You are making her uncomfortable!" She said, before smacking her on the head. "Apologize!"

"Eeeek! Ummm… sorry…" She said, not looking one bit sorry.

"Hahhh… I would like to apologize on behalf of this idiot. She is quite hard to control." The Kei that hit pervert Kei on the head said.

"Ah, it's ok…"

"Who cares?! She is here! We have been waiting all day for this moment! Wanna cuddle, Yui?" The Yui that first noticed her said, pushing her arm into her bosom.

'Ah? Eh?! Mmmm?! AEAeae? Soft…'

"Tsk… See? You broke her." Serious Kei said, hitting her on the head.

"Ouch!"

"Hey! Talk more softly! You'll wake her up!" Scared Kei said, pointing at sleeping Kei.

"... Y-You're right… We should be more careful to not wake her up. We do not want that…"

Why would not want to wake her up?

It's better not to know.

As the sleeping one, is a monster that should never be woken up from its slumber…
