Sonic and the Freedom fighters

Hi everyone, this is mastershadow, I'm doing a sonic game timeline along with some side stories, but with the freedom fighters and many more friends, even six certain characters from another world which will be merged later on (forgot to mention that), including chronicles because I liked the game, but the story could be a little better along with the planned sequel, I'm also adding the events from the idw comics because they're awesome, also Sally won't hook up with sonic for a while until way later, but for now enjoy.

Mace and Kat's adventure

(This happens during the events of Sonic 4 episode 1 and 2 along with episode Metal) the scene shows a 12-year-old Kathryn Winters a.k.a Kat and a 9-year-old Mace running through an obstacle course as the song Warrior plays. (The obstacle course is from the Knuckles series after the second Sonic Movie) The girl was a red head, wearing a tribal headband, a brown bandage on her nose, a white bandage on her cheek, wearing a neckless with a red jewel, a white tank top, a jacket on her waist, black jeans, tribal sandals, and her arm covered in bandages. They make it to end of the course where Julie-su and Chomps were waiting for them.

(Takes a breath)"How'd we do sis?" Mace asked."

(Checking the stopwatch)" Same as last time," Julie-su replied." And Mace it's still too early to call me that, Knuckles and I just started dating."

"I know, I'm just getting prepared to call you that when you two get married."

Julie-su giggles at that comment.

"Man, how does Knuckles deal with this?" Kat asked."

"From what he told me, he's been training since he was 8," Julie-su replied."

"It's worth training to be warriors and guardians," Mace said."

"Well, in the meantime, you two should head home and get ready for school," Julie-su said."

"Oh yeah, we got an important news today!" Kat said." we'll see you later sis!"

They head home, meanwhile Locke (wearing his now current tribal outfit during the Enerjak saga from archie) was watching through the monitors.

"I still don't understand why the master emerald share a connection with that girl," Locke said."

Elsewhere, Knuckles is seen meditating with his grandfathers the brotherhood.

"Focus Knuckles, you must use the chaos force to sense the master emerald," Sabre said."

Knuckles focuses to sense the master emerald with his eyes closed he sees the master emerald at the altar surrounded by echidna statues.

"I see it," Knuckles said opening his eyes."

"Good, your training is improving along with the other two," Tobor said."

"That reminds me, don't you have something important to do?" Thunderhawk asked."

"Oh yeah I almost forgot!" Knuckles replied." Thanks for reminding me."

Knuckles leaves. at his home, Kat and Mace were cleaned up and having breakfast.

"Are you two excited for today?" Wyn asked."

"Yup," Mace replied."

Knuckles comes in.

"Hey Knux, how was your training with the brotherhood?" Kat asked."

"It went great," Knuckles replied as he starts eating breakfast. Later Mace and Kat head to school with the other echidna children along with Dingo children and meet up with their six friends. one was pink echidna named Roze-ta, the other one was yellow named Lilium, another one was purple named Jock, one was orange named Bimmy Jr., another pink one named Poppy, and a third pink one being male named Zebedee.

"Hey guys," Mace said."

"Yo," Jock said."

"You guys excited for the news?" Poppy asked."

"Yep," Kat replied."

They entered their classroom and sat in their seats. Soon a beautiful female purple enters the classroom.

"Good morning miss Komi-ko," the students said."

"Good morning, everyone," Komi-ko said." I have important news."

"Remington's finally purposed to you?" Roze-ta asked."

"Not yet," Komi-ko replied giggling." We're going on a field trip through the places on angel island."

The students cheered.

"That sounds awesome!" Bimmy said."

"Yeah," Zebedee said."

"Now, now students, we're going to have guides and here he is," Komi-ko said."

Knuckles comes in with Julie-su.

"Our guides are the guardian and miss Julie-su, awesome!" Lilium said."

"That's right, everyone get ready," and we'll meet up at the entrance of the forest," Knuckles said."

The students later meet up with Knuckles, Julie-su, and Komi-ko.

"We're here," Mace said."

"Ok, here are the rules, no wondering off and stay with your travel buddy, don't touch anything, listen to the guardian, and give us a heads up if you need to use the bathroom," Komi-ko said." Understand?"

"Yes mam," the students said."

They started their field trip, during their trip of exploring the sandopolis Mace sees what looked like members of the dark legion with a prisoner.

"Hey Kat, did those look like the dark legion?" Mace asked."

Kat looks.

"Maybe, but sandopolis can make illusions," Kat replied."

"That's true," Mace said." maybe I imagined it."

Later, the field trip ends, and the kids head home. Mace and Kat began learning to meditate. Suddenly, they see the legion with the same prisoner identifying to be a female Mobian Pika.

"Mace you were right, it was the legion," Kat said." We got to tell Knuckles!"

"Wait, we should help her," Mace said."

"Are you crazy?!" Kat asked."

"Think about it, this could be part of our training," Mace replied."

(Thinks about it)" Fine, but if we're in over our heads we call Knuckles and Julie-su deal?" Kat asked."

"Deal," Mace replied."

The two head towards the location the legion was seen in their meditation. they find a legion group led by a white echidna with a cannon on his arm.

"You sure we can find them here?" the echidna asked."

"Y-yes," the Pika replied."

"Good, once the guardian robots are reactivated, we'll succeed in taking over the island," the echidna said."

"Guardian robots?" Mace whispered."

"Whatever they are, we can't let them find it," Kat said."

They entered the hidden palace and go deeper as Mace and Kat follow. They find a what looks like a big black and gold thing.

"There it is," the echidna said."

"Dr. Zachary, is this the guardian robot?" a Legionair asked."

"Yes, but one of them," Zachary replied."

"One of them?" Mace asked." That's not good."

"Let's hurry and save her," Kat said."

They sneak behind the Mobian Pika.

"Hey, are you ok?" Kat whispered."

"Yes," the Pika replied."

"Who are you?" Mace asked."

"My name is Relic, I'm an archeologist," Relic replied." I came here to study the islands history before I headed to the mystic ruins."

"How did you end up with the legion?" Kat asked."

"When I came here, they knew I was an archeologist and captured me and my assistant who's trapped in that box," Relic replied."

"Don't worry, we'll save them," Mace said." Because we're the younger siblings of the island guardian."

"Really?" Relic asked."

They nod.

"First save your friend," Kat said."

The two were able to knock out the legion members and grabbing the box.

"Well, I was hoping to test the robot on the guardian, but you two will do," Zachary said as he activates the robot."

"Ah crud," Mace said."

The robot charges at them to attack but dodged it.

"How can we fight it?" Mace asked."

"Not sure," Kat replied."

"It probably has an off switch," Relic said."

The fight continues leading outside. Kat and Mace fight back but no luck.

"Give up fools," Zachary said."

"Now what?" Mace asked."

Suddenly the same chaos wave appeared and gave Mace and Kat a power boost along with the robot being affected.

"What?!" Zachary said."

"Whoa, a power boost," Kat said." Guardian robot, gets the legion off our island!" Mace ordered."

The robot grabs the legion and tosses them off the island. Zachary fires at the robot until Kat blocked it.

"You won't rule this island!" Kat said."

She and the robot blast at Zachary sending him off the island.

"That was amazing!" Relic said."

Later, Kat and Mace meet up with Knuckles and explain what happened.

"So, instead of telling me what's going on, you decided to go and fight by yourselves?" Knuckles asked."

"It was his idea," Kat replied pointing to Mace."

"Well, count yourselves lucky that chaos wave helped you. and this robot and the others will be great help protecting the island," Knuckles said." and as for you Relic, we'll let you stay and study the ancients as long as you stay away from the forbidden places."

"Of course, oh and I have to free my friend," Relic said."

She opens the box and free a robot.

"Fixit! I'm so glad you're ok!" Relic said."

"Indeed," Fixit said."

"Cool robot," Mace said."

"But still, another chaos wave, yet this one felt different," Knuckles said." for now, let's meet up with Remington."

They get going until Kat's eyes widened showing here a vision of a temple.

"What the?" Kat said."

"The servers are the seven chaos," a voice said."

Kat was then back to reality.

"What was that?" Kat asked as she continued on with the others." I'll tell Knuckles later."

I hope you liked the obstacle course from the Knuckles series, somehow after seeing it I knew it would fit here. also, the guardian robot is from Sonic the comic.
