The cops and ambulance were at the bridge. Clark sat off to the side with a towel wrapped around him and watched as Lois was getting checked out by the EMTs. Jonathan ran down and found Clark sitting in the corner. "Clark" Jonathan called out. Clark looked over at his father. Jonathan ran over to him. He grabbed Clark. "Son are you alright" Jonathan asked.

Clark nodded. "Yea. I'm OK" Clark said.

"Hello Mr. Kent" Lois said walking up to Clark and his father.

"Lois I didn't know you were in town" Jonathan said.

"Yea. I'm staying with Chloe. I was in the car that crashed" she said.

"Who's the maniac driving the car" Jonathan asked.

"That would be me" Lex said walking up to the three of them.

"Lex Luthor" Lex said holding out his hand for Jonathan to shake.

Jonathan glared at the man. He ripped his jacket off. "I'm Jonathan Kent. This is my son" Jonathan said.

"Thanks for saving my life" Lex said to Clark.

Clark looked over at him. "I'm sure you'd have done the same" Clark said.

Jonathan put his jacket on Clark. Clark stood up and Jonathan turned to Lois. "Come on Lois. I'll take you home" he said.

Lois nodded. "Thank you Mr. Kent" she said. She always liked the Kents. They were nice sweet people and they always were good to her Lucy and Chloe. They were just good people. Jonathan started to lead Clark away with Lois following behind.

"You have quite an extraordinary boy there Mr. Kent. If there's any way I can repay you" Lex said to Jonathan.

Jonathan turned to him. "Drive slower" he said. Clark and Lois watched the awkward exchange. Jonathan didn't like the Luthor's. He didn't know what exactly happened but he knew Lionel Luthor did something to Robert and Robert always warned him against trusting the Luthor's. He wasn't going to let them hurt either one of his sons. Clark Jonathan and Lois all walked away leaving Lex standing there by himself. Lex watched as his destroyed Porche was lifted from the water. How the hell did they all survive?

Oliver had offered go shopping for his parents. Martha had given him a list of things they needed. He was going through the list not paying attention to where he was going when he bumped into someone's cart who was coming down the aisle. "I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention to…" he started to say but stopped when he looked up and saw who he bumped into. It was his high school girlfriend Felicity Smoak. She was the last person he thought he'd see especially back in Smallville. "Where I was going" he finished.

Felicity smiled at him. "Oliver, what a surprise" she said.

Oliver nodded. "I could say the same thing. Last I heard you were never returning to this town again" he said.

"That's what I thought but things changed" she said.

The smile faded from his face. "Like your engagement" he asked.

Felicity looked at him surprised. "How did you know" she asked.

"Well when you're engaged to someone like Lex Luthor that news kind of gets around" Oliver said.

"Yea I guess it does" Felicity said. Oliver and Felicity just stared at each other. "So what are you doing back in Smallville? Last I heard you moved to Metropolis" Felicity said.

"The city didn't agree with me. Besides in some weird way I missed it here. I moved back onto the farm with my parents and Clark" he said.

"How are they" Felicity asked.

"They're all good. Clark just started high school today" Oliver said.

"Oh really that's amazing. I miss your family" she said.

"Well, hey, maybe you could come over for dinner one day. I'll get my mom to cook" Oliver said.

Felicity gave Oliver a big smile. "I'd like that" she said.

Just then Oliver's phone rang. "Hello" he answered.

"Oliver we need you to come home as soon as you can" Jonathan said into the phone.

"Is everything OK" Oliver asked.

"Yea it's about Clark" Jonathan said.

"OK I'm on my way" Oliver said hanging up.

"I got to go" Oliver said.

"It was nice seeing you again Oliver" Felicity said.

"You too" Oliver said. He walked away, paid for his stuff and left the store.

When Oliver got home Jonathan told him all about the crash. This was bad. Clark used his powers to save Lex Luthor and Lois, who apparently was back in town. Clark wasn't really talking to Jonathan or Martha about the crash so they asked Oliver if he could talk to Clark. They always had a really good relationship and they knew if anyone was going to be able to get Clark to talk it would be Oliver. Oliver agreed to talk to Clark. At dinner, Clark didn't really talk much. After dinner, later in the night, he went out to the barn. Clark liked the loft up there. That was where he went to be alone when he just needed to think. It was his fortress of solitude. Clark sat in a chair thinking.

"Got room for one more" Clark heard his brother say standing on the stairs. Clark nodded. Oliver walked over to the empty chair and sat down in it. They sat there in silence for a couple minutes. Oliver looked over at Clark who looked deep in thought. "So dad told me about what happened today" Oliver said.

Clark looked over at him. He shrugged his shoulders. "It's no big deal" he said.

Oliver shook his head. "Well you saved Lex and Lois's lives today" he said.

Clark sighed. "Yea I guess I did" he said.

Oliver could tell something was bothering Clark. "Clark what's wrong" Oliver asked.

Clark took a deep breath. "He hit me Oliver. Lex ran right into me with his car and somehow I'm fine. I'm better then fine actually. There's not a scratch on me. How is that possible" Clark asked.

Oliver shook his head. "I don't know Clark but that's how you've always been even growing up. I don't think I even remember you ever being sick" Oliver said.

Clark nodded. "Exactly. That's what I mean. I'm not like everybody else. I just wish I knew why" he said.

"You are kind of weird and dorky. You can be annoying sometimes, well most of the time actually" Oliver joked.

Clark lightly pushed Oliver. "Thanks for the pep talk bro. It's really encouraging" Clark said. They both laughed.

"Look Clark, in all seriousness, what you did today was amazing. Who cares how you survived getting hit by Lex's car? All that matters is that you saved Lex and Lois" Oliver said.

Clark shrugged his shoulders. "I guess. Sometimes I just wish I was like everyone else" Clark said.

Oliver shook his head. "Don't" he said. Clark looked at his brother. "You're special Clark. You always have been and you're going to do so much good for this world. You're one of the best people I know. Don't ever wish to be like everyone else. Most people are bitter and angry and couldn't care less about anyone else. You're the exact opposite. Besides I wouldn't trade my weird, dorky and annoying brother for the most normal brother on the planet" Oliver said.

Clark smiled, got up and hugged Oliver. "Thanks Oliver" Clark said.

Oliver pulled back and smiled at his brother. "Anytime squirt" Oliver said ruffling Clark's hair.

"Hey that stopped being funny after around five" Clark said pulling Oliver's hands away from his head and fixing his hair.

Oliver laughed. "I don't know. It's still funny to me" he said. He let out a yawn. "I'm going to go to bed. It was a long tiring day today" he said.

Clark nodded. "Night" he said.

"Good night" Oliver said walking down the stairs and back to the house.

Clark walked over to his telescope. He looked into it up into the night sky. He moved the telescope to look at the house next door. He moved it down and saw, Lana Lang, the girl he had a massive crush on walk out onto the porch. He looked up from the telescope and smiled. He looked back into it. He saw Lana sit down on a bench they had on the porch. He then saw her boyfriend Whitney come up behind her. Clark looked up from the telescope. Clark looked back in the telescope at the couple. He couldn't hear what they were saying but he saw Lana give Whitney her necklace, the one that made him sick, then he saw them kiss. Clark once again looked up from the telescope. He walked away from the telescope and sat down. The girl he liked for as long as he could remember was with someone else and she seemed happy. Maybe he should just move on and find someone else.

The next day, Clark walked towards the barn. He stopped and looked in shock. He ran over. There was a truck he had never seen before in the driveway. He walked past it to Martha who was getting in the tractor. "Hey mom. Who's truck" Clark asked.

"Yours" she answered looking at her son.

Clark smiled. "Sweet thanks mom" Clark said.

Martha shook her head. "It's not from me or your father" she said.

Clark nodded and thought for a moment. "Where's Oliver? I got to thank him for the truck" he asked.

"It's not from your brother either" she said. Clark looked at her confused. "It's a gift from Lex Luthor" Martha said pulling out a card and handing it to Clark.

Clark took the card excitedly and opened it. "Dear Clark: Drive safely. Always in your debt…the maniac in the Porsche" Clark read aloud. "I don't believe it. Where are the keys" he asked his mother.

Martha got off the tractor. "Your father has them" she said.

In the barn, Jonathan was placing wood in the wood chipper while Oliver was moving hay around. Clark walked in. Oliver saw his brother walking over to his father. He knew what Clark was about to talk to his father about. He threw the hay and ran over to Clark. "Hey Clark maybe now is not the best time to bring up the whole truck situation to dad" Oliver said. Jonathan looked over and saw his two sons talking.

"Why not" Clark asked.

"Just trust me Clark" Oliver said.

Jonathan turned off the wood chipper and took off the headphones and googles he was wearing. "I know how much you want it son but you can't keep it" Jonathan said walking past his sons.

Oliver leaned in close to Clark. "Told you" he whispered.

Clark rolled his eyes at his brother. "Why not" he asked turning around to look at his father. "I saved the guys life" Clark said following after his father.

"So you think you deserve a prize" Jonathan said. Oliver went back to work. This was a conversation between Clark and their father.

"That's not what I meant" Clark said. Jonathan just looked at his son. "Look how about you drive the new one and I'll drive the old one. Everybody wins" Clark said.

"This is not about winning Clark" Jonathan said looking at his son for a moment then walking past him.

"It's not like the Luthor's can't afford it" Clark argued turning around. Jonathan sighed.

"Do you want to know why that is? Do you remember Mr. Bell? We used to go fishing on his property. How about Mr. Guy? He used to send us pumpkins every Halloween. Lionel Luthor promised to cut them in on a deal. He sent them flashy gifts" Jonathan said pulling out the keys to the truck. "Once they sold him their property…he evicted them" Jonathan said.

"So you're judging Lex on what his father did" Clark said.

Jonathan sighed again. "No Clark I'm not. I just want to make sure that you know where the money came from that bought that truck" Jonathan said.

Clark started to walk up the stairs to the loft. "Clark" Jonathan called. Clark stopped walking. "I know you're upset son but it's normal" Jonathan said.

That was it. Now Clark was mad. He threw his backpack and coat on the stairs. He turned around and looked at his father. "Normal" Clark yelled. He walked past his father who tried to grab him. Oliver walked over figuring he might have to play mediator between his brother and father. Clark walked over to the wood chipper and turned it on. "How about this? Is this normal" Clark asked sticking his hand in the wood chipper.

"Clark" both Jonathan and Oliver yelled. They ran over to Clark. Jonathan pulled Clark's hand out and Oliver shut off the wood chipper. Jonathan looked at Clark's arm and saw he wasn't injured.

"I didn't dive in after Lex's car. It hit me at 60 mph. Does that sound normal to you? I'd give anything to be normal" Clark said. He walked away from his father and brother. Jonathan looked at Oliver.

"Just give him time. He'll be Ok" Oliver said tapping his father on the shoulder. He walked deeper into the barn.

Martha walked up to Jonathan. "I think it's time we tell them the truth" she said. Jonathan nodded. She was right. It was time. They were both old enough to know.

About an hour later, Oliver walked up to the loft where Clark was sitting alone thinking. He walked up to Clark and sat next to him. Clark didn't even acknowledge him. "So Clark you going to sit up here and be moody all day or are you going to come down and join the land of the living" Oliver asked.

Clark shook his head. "I just want to be alone" he said.

"Well you've been sitting up here for the last hour mopping. It's time to come downstairs and talk to dad" Oliver said.

"He doesn't understand" Clark said.

Oliver took a deep breath. "He's right by the way. About the Luthor's. They're not good people that includes Lex" Oliver said.

Now Clark looked at his brother. "How would you know" he asked.

"When I was living in Metropolis I had a couple run ins with the Luthor's" Oliver said.

"What happened" Clark asked.

"Well I wasn't exactly in the best of places in my life. Me and Felicity just broke up, I had just graduated college and was struggling to find a job then the Luthor's came in. They offered me a job and I took it. I was desperate and I needed to show to myself that I wasn't a complete failure and could make it out in the big city. I had gotten ana apartment with the money I made from them. I thought this job would turn my life around but I was wrong. It turns out they just used me. I made a couple friends in Metropolis who owned businesses and buildings that the Luthor's wanted. They had me put in a good word with them. I got them to sign up with the Luthor's and then next thing I know my friends lost everything just like dad said" Oliver explained.

"What does that have to do with Lex" Clark asked.

"Well when I found out what was happening I quit. I wanted no part of it. I told Lex and we fought about it. He told me I would regret leaving. The next day I find out I'm getting evicted and I had no where to live. Apparently Lex made a phone call to the bank and told them to evict me even though I was up to date with my rent. He also called every apartment building in Metropolis and told them not to let me live there. So I was officially homeless with no where to go" Oliver said.

Realization hit Clark. "That's why you moved back home" he said.

Oliver nodded. "Do me a favor. Don't tell Mom or Dad. I don't want them to know" Oliver said.

Clark nodded. "Your secrets safe with me" he said.

Oliver smiled at his brother. "Thanks" he said.

Clark smiled back at him. "Of course" Clark said.

"Clark, be careful around Lex. He may seem like he's your friend but trust me he's not. He'll just use you until he gets what he wants" Oliver said.

Before Clark could say anything Jonathan walked up into the loft. He walked up to his sons. He pulled stuff out of his pockets. "It's time guys" Jonathan said.

Clark looked up at his father. "Time for what" he asked.

"The truth" Jonathan answered. He looked over at Oliver. "For both of you" Jonathan said. Clark and Oliver looked at each other confused as Jonathan sat down between them. He held out a letter to Oliver.

"What is this" Oliver asked as he took it from his father. He looked at the letter and saw his name on it. Jonathan pulled out a photo and gave it to Oliver. Oliver took it and looked at it. It was a photo of his father younger, a man and a woman he had never seen before.

"That photo right there is a photo of me and…" Jonathan said taking a deep breath. Oliver looked up at his father. "Your biological parents" Jonathan said.

Oliver was speechless. He didn't know what to say. "My biological parents" Oliver repeated in shock.

Jonathan nodded. "Robert and Laura…Queen" he said.

Now Oliver really didn't know what to say. He was in still in a state of shock. He was a part of the Queen family. He had heard about them of course but last he heard the family line died with Robert and his wife. "He was your best friend" Oliver asked.

Jonathan nodded. "The night you were born, the night me and your mother had become your parents Robert and Laura told us you had to be a secret. No one could ever know who you really were or you would be in danger" Jonathan said.

"From who" Oliver asked.

Jonathan shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know they didn't say. They said it was better if we didn't know. They just asked us to raise you and keep you safe" Jonathan said. Oliver was still processing everything he had just been told when Jonathan turned to Clark. "I want you to take a look at something" Jonathan said. He held out his right hand and moved a piece of cloth to reveal a weird object in his hand. "I think it's from your parents. Your real parents" Jonathan said.

Clark took it and looked at it. It had some weird looking symbols on it. "What does it say" Clark asked.

"I tried to decipher it, but it's not a language known to man" Jonathan explained.

"What do you mean" Clark asked.

"Your real parents weren't exactly from around here" Jonathan said.

"Where are they from" Clark asked. Jonathan looked up at the sky. Clark and Oliver followed his gaze. Clark looked at his father and let out a little laugh. "What are you trying to tell me? I'm from another plant" Clark asked. Jonathan just turned and gave Clark a serious look that told his son he wasn't kidding. "I suppose you stashed my spaceship in the attic" Clark said.

"Actually, it's in the cellar" Jonathan said. He turned to Oliver. "There's something down there for you too" he said. Jonathan got up. "Follow me boys" Jonathan said walking out of the loft. Clark and Oliver looked at each other, then got up and followed their father.

Jonathan, Clark and Oliver reached the storm cellar. "There's a reason your mother and I never let you guys come down here" Jonathan said walking over to the corner of the room. He grabbed a chest and walked back to his sons. He looked at Oliver. "Your parents gave us this the night we got you" he said.

Oliver took it from his father. "What's in it" he asked.

Jonathan shook his head. "I don't know we never opened it" Jonathan said pulling a key out of his pocket. "This is the key" he said. Oliver took the key from his father. "Your parents said that letter explains everything" Jonathan said pointing to the letter in Oliver's hand. Jonathan walked over to the other side of the cellar and pulled a cloth off an item. Clark and Oliver looked at it in shock. It definitely looked extraterrestrial "This is how you came into our world, Clark" Jonathan said touching the weird extraterrestrial ship. "It was the day of the meteor shower" Jonathan said.

"I remember that day. That's the day you brought home Clark. When I got home from school you and mom told me you had some exciting news. Then you told me Clark was going to be my baby brother. You guys told me you adopted him from a nearby agency" Oliver said.

Clark moved back from his father. "This is a joke right" he said looking at his father. Jonathan didn't say anything. Clark walked away from his father. "Why didn't you tell us any of this before" Clark asked.

Oliver nodded. "Yea why did you and mom lie to us our whole lives" he asked.

Jonathan looked at his two sons. "We wanted to protect the two of you" he said.

"Protect us from what" Oliver asked. Jonathan was trying to find the right words to say.

"You should have told us" Clark said. He super sped away.

"Clark" Jonathan called out running to the entrance of the cellar. "Clark" he called out but Clark was long gone. He turned to Oliver who was just standing there silent. "Oliver, I…" Jonathan started to say but Oliver walked past him and started heading up the stairs.

"I got to go DAD, find out who I really am. Maybe my "real" parents will be more honest to me then you guys were" Oliver said walking out of the cellar. That stung Jonathan a little bit. Oliver basically said him and Martha weren't his real parents which hurt him a little bit. Jonathan watched as Oliver walked over to his car.

Martha ran over to him. "Oliver are you OK" she asked. Oliver just ignored her and got to his car and put the chest in the trunk.

"Oliver please" Jonathan said walking up to him and grabbing his arm. Oliver pulled his arm out of Jonathan's grasp and glared at him.

"I'm leaving" Oliver said.

"Please don't" Martha said. Now he looked over at his mother. "Why? So that you guys can tell me more lies. No thanks. I've been lied to enough my whole life" Oliver said. He got in his car and drove off leaving his parents standing there heartbroken. Martha started to cry and Jonatha pulled her close to him. Oliver didn't know where he was going but he just had to get away from here. He had to find out who he was and it wasn't going to be there.
