Lois left the dance and was driving back to Chloe's house. Something weird happened to her while she was at the dance. She kept thinking about Clark. She kept wishing he was there not so that she could annoy him but because she actually wanted him there. She imagined herself dancing with Clark and she didn't actually hate the idea. Sure he was dorky, a nerd and didn't have a cool bone in his body but he was also sweet, loyal, and kind. He was also kind of attractive in a farm boy who's never been off the farm kind of way and she loved his smile. Lois shook her head. She couldn't like Clark Kent. She had known him forever and they couldn't stand each other. They would never work. Besides Clark had that weird crush on Lana Lang. Even if she did like Clark like that, which she didn't, he didn't like her like that. Lois saw someone run in front of her car and she slammed on the brakes. The car stopped right in front of the person and Lois got out of the car. "I could've hit you. How about not running into the middle of the street" Lois said. The boy wasn't paying attention. He was leaning down looking at something he was holding. He was holding a glass jar filled with bugs and he was looking at them. Lois grabbed his shoulder. "Hey dude how about moving" she asked.

The guy jumped away from Lois's hand. "Can't you see I'm…" he started to say but stopped himself when he saw Lois. He had never seen her before but she was so beautiful. He smiled at her. "Hi" he said.

Lois just stared at him for a moment then smiled back. "Hi would you mind moving so that I could continue driving home" Lois asked.

The boy looked between the car and Lois. He nodded his head. "Oh right sorry" he said. He held out his hand. "I'm Greg Arkin" he said.

Lois shook his hand. "Lois Lane" she said.

"You live around here" he asked.

Lois started walking to her car. She nodded. "I'm staying with my cousin Chloe Sullivan for the year. I'm just heading back to her place" Lois said.

Greg stepped out of the way. "It was nice to meet you Lois" Greg said as Lois shut the car door.

Lois rolled down the window. "It was nice to meet you too Greg. Maybe I'll see you around" she said.

Greg nodded. "Definitely" he said.

"Bye" Lois said and drove away.

"Bye" he said as he watched the car drive off. Lois Lane. He had to know everything there was to know about this Lois. Absolutely everything.

Lois made it to Chloe's house, got out of her dress and took a shower. She walked into her room and got dressed in her pajamas she was going to spend the rest of the night hanging out with Chloe. Chloe knocked on her door. "Hey Lois, did you have fun tonight" Chloe asked.

Lois shrugged her shoulders. "Not really my speed honestly. I prefer more fast, exciting parties to be honest" Lois said.

Chloe smiled at her cousin. "Well this town might surprise you. There's more to this town then meets the eye" Chloe said.

Lois shook her head. "I doubt it. The most exciting thing that happens in this town is the harvest festival you guys have every year" Lois said. She walked over to her cousin. "So you and Pete sure seem like you guys had a good time" she said.

Chloe shook her head. "Me and Pete? No we're just friends" she said.

"You seem to have made a friend" Chloe said.

Lois thought for a moment, then it hit her. "Chad? The football player" Lois asked.

Chloe nodded. "You we're dancing with him most of the night" she said.

"He asked me to dance and seeing as how I was there by myself I thought what the hell and gave him a dance. It was nothing. Really" Lois said.

Chloe just stared at Lois. She knew the truth. Both Clark and Lois liked for each other but neither of them would admit it. It was obvious to anyone who spent even 5 seconds with them. Chloe never told Lois about her crush on Clark because she knew deep down Lois liked him too. Plus her liking Clark wasn't something she wanted to talk to Lois about. "So what do you say we go downstairs, pick out a movie and eat a bunch of food we'll regret eating in the morning" Chloe asked.

Lois let out a laugh. "Sure but I get to pick the movie. None of those sappy romance movies. We need a good action movie" Lois said.

Chloe nodded. "My dad has to work late so we get the TV all to ourselves" she said.

Lois wrapped her arm around Chloe's shoulder. "Let's get the Chloe and Lois movie night started" Lois said leading her and Chloe out of her room. She closed the door behind her. Unbeknownst to them, Greg was hanging on the wall outside the house watching them. Lois was so beautiful and now with these new found abilities he would be able to impress her and make her his.
