Chapter 28 Rescue

After sending his message to the world, Gallaxhar ordered a clone with water powers to take Susan away to a holding cell to decide on her fate later. The water clone got a blaster and marched Susan out of the cloning chamber and down a hallway. Susan wondered what she could do. She was no longer a giant with super strength or durability, alone on a spaceship with tons of alien clones with super powers and armed with advanced weapons. Susan was powerless and really had no means to fight or defend herself from Gallaxhar and his clones.
The clone continued to march Susan down the hallway, when a sphere of clear energy suddenly appeared and struck the clone in the back of the head knocking him to the ground dazed. Susan blinked her eyes in confusion as Violet suddenly became visible before her.
"Susan! I found you! Wait why are you small now?" Said Violet.
"The aliens extracted the space stuff that made me big in the first place to power a machine to make a army of clones." Explained Susan as she saw the alien's blaster and picked it up.
"Did you see my baby brother?" Asked Violet.
"The aliens have him strapped to a machine and they're extracting his DNA to give the clones superpowers." Said Susan.
"A army of super powered clones. This is bad. We need to get my brother away from them." Said Violet.
Before anything else could be discussed the clone came to and got to his tentacled feet and took on his water form. The clone let out a yell as he fired water blasts from his hands at the two women. Violet quickly created a shield around herself and Susan to protect them and the water hit the shield. The clone added more pressure to the water blast and Violet began to struggle under the intense pressure. Susan held the blaster and stepped out from behind the shield and fired a laser blast at the clone. The blast struck the startled clone and he burst into bits splattering over the hallway.
"Nice shooting." Said Violet as she dropped the shield.
"Thanks." Said Susan.
"So I can go invisible to enter the chamber and reach my brother, but I can't make him invisible, so we need to figure out some way to deal with the clones." Said Violet.
As Violet talked the water bits of the clone began to move and merge together reforming the clone, who fired another water blast at the two women knocking them to the ground. The clone closed in on Susan and Violet and was about to attack them again, when a freezing blast of energy struck the clone and froze him into an ice sculpture. Violet and Susan stared at the frozen clone in shock and turned their heads to see Frozone, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Dash, Link, B.O.B, and Dr. Cockroach entering the hallway. Both Violet and Frozone were happy to see them and relieved that they weren't alone on the ship.
Violet immediately raced to her parents and hugged them and Susan hugged her monster friends.
"So what's the deal with the water alien?" Asked Frozone as he inspected the frozen clone.
Susan and Violet quickly filled the others in on what was happening. Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl were alarmed about what Gallaxhar was doing with their son and were determined to rescue him and put a stop to Gallaxhar's plans, which Frozone and the monsters agreed to. Susan was less then confident about the rescue due to no longer being a giant or having any powers that could be helpful to the rescue or stopping Gallaxhar. Violet was quick to reassure Susan that she wasn't useless and could still help the others.
"Hey you managed to find the courage and blast that one clone to bits. You aren't useless Susan. You're a hero." Said Violet.
"Yeah, so what if you aren't a giant anymore. You can still kick butt and will be there to watch your back." Said Link.
"Thanks guys. Alright I'm in." Said Susan.
"Come on team we got a baby and a planet to save!" Said Mr. Incredible.
With that said the team made their way to the cloning chamber.
