Chapter 40: Hosu Under Siege!
[Miruko's Agency]
Miruko, Itsuka, and Izuku returned to their agency, exhausted from their night adventure. As they plopped down on the floor, Izuku expected Miruko to hound them for more training. But instead, she was on her phone, her eyes fixed on the screen.
"Uh, Miruko...? Should we get ready for training?" Izuku asked confusion etched on his face.
Miruko looked up, a hint of a smile on her lips. "No, it's been a long night. Rest up, we'll be back to training around 12. Then, we'll head out to Hosu City. We've got a lead on the Hero Killer."
Itsuka and Izuku exchanged a surprised glance. "Hosu City? Why?" Itsuka asked, his voice laced with concern.
Miruko's expression turned serious. "The Hero Killer has been sighted in Hosu, and a pro-ranked 123 was attacked but managed to escape. We need to catch him before he strikes again."
Izuku's eyes widened in shock. "W-Wait, the Hero Killer is still in Hosu? I thought he would have left after his murdering spree?"
Miruko shrugged. "Yeah, I thought so too, but it seems he's changing his habits. We need to be careful."
Itsuka and Izuku gulped nervously, their minds racing with the implications. "Wait, are we even allowed to come with you?" Itsuka asked, his voice laced with uncertainty.
Miruko's expression turned reassuring. "Don't worry about that. As long as you have my permission and the necessitates, you both can use your Quirk without issue. If any issue arises, full blame will fall on me. And I'm prepared for that."
Izuku and Itsuka looked at each other, touched by Miruko's faith in them. "Thank you, Miruko," Izuku said, his voice filled with gratitude.
Miruko smiled. "Yesterday, you both proved that I can trust you. That's why I'm taking you with me. You've shown that you're capable and reliable, and I may not like working in teams, I think it makes people weak, but we're not necessarily a team."
Itsuka nodded, her eyes shining with determination. She sat down on the floor, crossing her legs in a relaxed position, and leaned forward slightly, her hands on her knees. Izuku followed suit, mirroring Itsuka's posture.
Miruko smirked. "Most of the time I go after big names, even if you didn't want to go, I'm definitely going!" She said, her eyes glinting with a hint of mischief.
Izuku and Itsuka chuckled, their faces relaxed, and their eyes fixed on Miruko.
"Now listen closely, both of you," Miruko said, her expression serious. "The day-to-day patrols are important to establish a Hero's presence and trust within the community, you know, making the people feel safe."
Izuku nodded enthusiastically, his eyes lighting up. "Like All Might, he's always out there, saving people and making a difference!"
Miruko smiled. "Exactly. And that's what we need to do too. Now, in my personal opinion, if you don't go out and catch people hurting our society or people, or at least helping out people, whether it be rescuing, I don't think you're a hero. At least, that's my philosophy."
...
[GunHead's Agency]
Ochako was in the midst of a rigorous training session at the dojo, surrounded by her peers and instructor GunHead. With a determined look on her face, she yelled out her punches as she threw them: "Right! Left! Right! Left!"
GunHead, a seasoned expert in hand-to-hand combat, observed his students with a keen eye. "Remember, don't just go through the motions," he emphasized, striking a pose to demonstrate his point. "Focus on each individual punch, and don't forget that it's your basic physical strength that's behind each one."
Ochako's eyes widened in admiration as she gazed at GunHead's pose. She couldn't help but think, "Look at how cute that pose is!"
But her attention was quickly snapped back to the task at hand as GunHead called out to her.
"Ochako, keep your guard up and focus on your technique!" he instructed his voice firm but encouraging.
Ochako nodded, and her determination was renewed. She refocused on her punches, throwing each one with precision and power.
...
[Edgeshot's Agency]
Kyouka stood in the midst of Edgeshot's agency office, a space reminiscent of traditional Japan. Her Earjacks, like serpent-like appendages, hovered in the air, attuned to her surroundings. With eyes closed, she breathed slowly, and her senses heightened. Suddenly, a kunai flew towards her, and she dodged it with ease. She let a powerful sonic scream, and the bonsai were not so fortunate, blown apart by her sonic scream.
Edgeshot, a master shinobi, moved at incredible velocities, his thin frame blurring as he traversed the office. Kyouka realized she needed to rely on her hearing to track him. As she caught a kunai, cutting her hand in the process, she let out another scream, this time managing to blast Edgeshot. He reformed into his normal state, rubbing his ears.
"Impressive," Edgeshot said, "but remember, a shinobi's greatest weapon is their mind. You must always be aware of your surroundings and use your senses to your advantage. Your back is a blind spot, and in a real mission, that could be fatal."
Kyouka nodded, taking in Edgeshot's advice. Over the past two days, she had been training with him in reconnaissance and detecting the faintest sounds. He had also taught her some combat techniques, and although she was improving slowly, she couldn't help but wonder why he had taken her under his wing.
As they sat down on cushions across from each other, Edgeshot poured tea and spoke, "You're wondering why I offered you an internship?" Kyouka flinched back in surprise, and Edgeshot smiled.
"How did you know?"
"It's written all over your face. As a shinobi, I can read people's expressions and body language. You have potential, Jirou. In Capture the Flag, you rescued Midoriya when he was surrounded, and in the third event, you didn't back down against Todoroki. You used your wit to keep yourself in the fight and pushed him back. That's the spirit of a true shinobi."
Kyouka smiled a little. "Thanks."
Edgeshot's expression turned serious. "Though unfortunately, it seems your training will have to be cut short. The Hero Killer has been sighted in Hosu, and many top pro-ranking heroes, myself included, have been tasked with tracking and detaining him."
Kyouka's thoughts drifted to Midoriya, who was currently training with Miruko, a top-ranked pro. She couldn't help but worry about him encountering the Hero Killer.
"Uhm... Will Miruko be going?" she asked, her tone laced with concern.
Edgeshot raised an eyebrow. "From her track record, most probably. She'll likely be the first on the scene. Why are you worried about someone?" he asked, his eyes narrowing slightly.
Kyouka's face grew warm, and she looked away, her gaze drifting to the floor. "What are you talking about? I'm just concerned about...about the safety of everyone," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Edgeshot chuckled. "It wouldn't be a boy or someone you have a romantic interest in now, would it?" he teased, his eyes sparkling with amusement. Kyouka's blush deepened, and she fidgeted slightly.
"That skill of being able to read people is starting to be a real pain in the ass," Kyouka grumbled, her eyes flashing with embarrassment.
Edgeshot shrugged. "Anyway, love life aside. You'll be in the care of my sidekicks. Your scouting skills will be invaluable, but Stain is not your responsibility. If you find him, inform me or my sidekicks. Got it?"
Kyouka nodded, her face still warm. "Of course."
Edgeshot sighed. "Thank you,"
...
[Best Jeanist Agency]
Best Jeanist stood in the centre of his office, surrounded by his sidekicks. He held a comb in his hand and gazed at Bakugou, who sat before him, looking less than thrilled.
"To be a good Pro, your presence must calm those in danger and bring peace to their minds," Jeanist said, his voice smooth and confident. "Of course, capability is important, but there's more to it than that. Your physical appearance, speech, and actions must all be elegant. You must exude the aura of a hero."
As Jeanist finished speaking, he gestured to Bakugou's hair, which had been transformed into a perfect replica of Jeanist's own stylish coiffure. Bakugou's eyes widened in shock and anger, and he shook his head, his face red with rage.
"Another perfect masterpiece, sir!" Jeanist's sidekicks chimed in unison, admiring their boss's handiwork.
Bakugou's thoughts were a jumbled mix of shock, anger, and disbelief. "Damnit! I came to the wrong Hero agency..." he muttered to himself.
Just as Bakugou was about to explode, his hair suddenly reverted to its usual spiky style. Jeanist chuckled and held up a bottle of hair gel.
"Ah, it seems I'll need to use the extreme cement strength hair gel to keep your locks in place," Jeanist said with a smile, beginning to comb Bakugou's hair once more.
Bakugou's face turned beet red with rage as Jeanist continued to style his hair, his sidekicks looking on in amusement.
Jeanist sighed. "Now, Bakugou, what is your definition of a hero?"
Bakugou's face twisted in a scowl, his eyes narrowing. "Huh?" he growled, his arms crossing over his chest.
"You, Katsuki Bakugou, what is your image of a hero? What do you think it means to be a hero?" Best Jeanist asked, his eyes piercing.
Bakugou's scowl deepened, and his jaw clenched. "A hero is someone who always wins. No matter the situation, just like All Might."
Best Jeanist nodded thoughtfully. "I see."
"How childish," he thought to himself.
"Think about it, Bakugou. If winning is all that matters, then what does that say about your own worth? You lost at the sports festival, after all. And what about Midoriya? He came first in the entrance exam and won the sports festival. By your definition, he's a hero, isn't he?"
Bakugou's expression twisted in disgust, his lips curling into a snarl.
"I see," Best Jeanist said, his eyes piercing. "You're more concerned with maintaining your own ego than with truly understanding what it means to be a hero."
Bakugou's face was a picture of fury, his body language screaming defiance. But for a moment, his eyes betrayed a hint of uncertainty, a glimmer of doubt that he quickly suppressed.
...
Gran Torino gazed at Tenya with a hint of approval. "You're getting better, kid. You can almost dodge properly."
Tenya beamed with pride. "Thank you, sir!"
Gran Torino chuckled. "Don't get too cocky, though. You're still stiff as a board."
Tenya nodded earnestly. "I'm working on being more flexible and limber, sir."
Gran Torino raised an eyebrow. "Attitude's a big part of your problem, kid. You're too rigid in your thinking."
Tenya looked puzzled. "Sir? I don't understand. I thought wanting to be like Tensei was a good thing."
Gran Torino snorted. "Tensei's a great hero, but you can't just copy someone else's style. You need to find your own way."
Tenya's eyes narrowed in thought. He cupped his chin in understanding. "I see what you mean, sir. I need to be more adaptable and open-minded."
Gran Torino grinned. "That's the spirit, kid. Now, let's put your newfound understanding to the test. We're going villain hunting tonight."
Tenya's eyes lit up. "Really, sir? I thought you were trying to stop me from doing that."
Gran Torino chuckled. "We're going after smaller fish, kid. I want you to see that there's more to being a hero than just fighting the big bad guys."
Tenya nodded eagerly. "I'm honored that you trust me enough for this, sir."
Gran Torino waved his hand dismissively. "Don't get too excited, kid. We're just taking the bullet train to Shibuya."
Tenya's face set in determination. "I'm ready for this, sir."
Gran Torino snorted. "Fastest? Ha! It's only fast if nothing goes wrong. Otherwise, it's just a hunk of junk."
Tenya's eyes widened in realization. "I understand now, sir. The bullet train may be fast, but it's limited to its track. Similarly, I need to be more flexible and adaptable in my thinking."
Gran Torino stroked his beard, impressed. "Well, well, well. Looks like you finally get it, kid."
Tenya bowed, grinning. "Thank you, sir. I'm glad I could decipher your teachings."
Gran Torino chuckled and kicked Tenya in the face. "Not everything I say is a lesson, kid."
...
[League of Villains Hideout]
Stain sat on the counter, sipping a glass of whiskey as Kurogiri poured himself a drink. "Hero Killer, I'm curious - how did you manage to gather so many pro heroes in one district, especially ones with checkered pasts?"
Stain set his glass down, a hint of a smile on his lips. "The Knights have spies everywhere, from janitors to secretaries. They sent a message to the fake heroes, threatening to expose them. Like moths to a flame, they fell for it. And now, my blade is stained with their blood."
Shigaraki leaned forward, his eyes intense. "Enough about that. You want to join me, correct?"
Stain nodded, his expression serious. "I do. But our goals don't align. You want to destroy this society while I want to reform it."
Shigaraki's glare grew darker. "You're a warped sprout of conviction. I can't let that be wasted on your goal."
Stain's eyes flashed with determination. "You have conviction, Shigaraki. I'll give you that. I'm going to Hosu to bathe the streets in the blood of false heroes. You'd do well to learn from my example."
Shigaraki scoffed. "What the hell could I possibly learn from you?"
Stain's smile grew wider. "What an actual goal looks like. And why, unlike you, I've gathered a following."
Shigaraki snorted. "Following? Do you mean those fakers who dress up like you? The ones who think they can be just like the Hero Killer by putting on a fancy costume?"
Stain's eyes narrowed. "At least they have the courage to act on their beliefs. Unlike your ragtag group of villains, who are only in it for themselves."
The tension was thick as Kurogiri created a purple vortex they walked through and were now standing atop a building.
"This place looks nicer than I expected," Tomura said as he walked through the portal.
"So what are you gonna do?"
"I will reform this city. In order to do so, I will require more victims."
"But Hero Killer, you have already killed 45 pro heroes and crippled at least a dozen more. Why continue your purge in Hosu?"
Silence fell for a moment."I had to send a message of my return. And what will the fake heroes suffer when I come to another city."
"I see. Giving them a message that no place is safe for the fake heroes."
"At least someone understands."
"I feel like you're making fun of me," Tomura said his tone indicating he was offended.
"Hero...is a title that should only be given to those who have accomplished great deeds. But in recent times, there are too many... too many who lay claim to the name. But are really money-worshipers, lustful bastards. Until this world realizes its mistakes. I will continue to act." With that, he leapt as the sun began to set.
Night had fallen, and Tomura Shigaraki stood atop a building, gazing out over the city.
"Kurogiri. I think I've had enough of him." Shigaraki said."Master said I could intact my plan. If the hero killer is a casualty, then that's a bonus."
"Kurogiri, are you certain he's in Hosu?" he asked, his voice low and menacing.
"Positive," Kurogiri replied. "He's currently in Hosu, alongside a top pro hero. But I must advise that this plan may jeopardize our partnership with the Hero Killer."
Shigaraki's grin grew wider. "That Hero Killer wants a world filled with All Might's, how wonderful! Heroes are working harder!"
He turned to Kurogiri. "How many Nomu do we have?"
"Seven," Kurogiri replied. "The doctor has been investing more time in producing them ever since he heard a child managed to defeat one."
With a wave of his hand, a purple vortex appeared, and seven Nomu emerged, smaller and grey in colour. Shigaraki's eyes gleamed with excitement.
"You think you can get away with burning my Nomu to a crisp? And calling my plan stupid?" he spat, his voice venomous. "If I want to kill you, I will. This is a game, and you may have won round one, but I will win this one."
"Has the good doctor prepared his pets?"
Kurogiri nodded. "Yes. His mutant pets will take siege to the city."
The air grew thick with tension as terrifying growls and snarls echoed through the distance, like a chorus of monsters. The sound sent shivers down the spine, a chilling reminder of the horrors that lurked in the shadows. A few haunting howls pierced the night air, making the hairs on the back of Shigaraki's neck stand on end.
He revelled in the terror that his plan inspired, his grin growing even wider. "Let the game begin."
...
The bullet train that Tenya was riding on, alongside his mentor Gran Torino, was smashed open by a pro Hero being flung into it at high speeds. Tenya barely had time to react before a hand extended into the train car, grabbed him, and tossed him out into the air. Thinking quickly, once he was in the open air, he angled his legs awkwardly, using his engines to reverse the downward momentum and cushion his fall.
As he descended, he saw Gran Torino notice the use of his Quirk and take the opportunity to fly towards his intern's assailant. With a powerful kick, Gran Torino struck the creature with incredible force, sending it sailing away. The kick was so powerful that it created a shockwave, causing the air to ripple and distort.
Tenya could see that the creature was a black Nomu, its brain exposed and vulnerable. "NOMU!" he cried out, his voice filled with alarm.
As the Nomu flew away, Tenya saw that there were other heroes fighting these creatures, the most prominent one having multiple arms and chainsaws for hands. He managed to get to the ground without injury, his engines humming as he absorbed the impact.
Once he did, Gran Torino flew towards him, his expression serious. "Good, you're all right. Looks like our plans got changed. They need all hands on deck for this madness, so I have to get in there. You, on the other hand... You have my permission to use your Quirk, but only for the purposes of escaping and evacuation. You're too invaluable not to use here. However, you do not have my permission to fight. If you use your Quirk to fight any villains, I'm letting them throw the book at you, got it?"
Tenya bowed, feeling a mix of relief and guilt. As Gran Torino sped off, he thought to himself, "This is the perfect opportunity! He is in Hosu, that's what the recent outlets have said. I...I can bring him to justice."
But then he remembered Gran Torino's trust in him, and the shame of his secret plan washed over him. He thought about his brother in the hospital, fighting for his life, and the pain he had been going through, knowing his brother would be crippled forever. He looked at the back of Gran Torino, a shameful look on his face. "...I'm sorry, Gran Torino."
...
Ochako was in the midst of chaos, her Gravity Quirk allowing her to manipulate the weight of objects and help civilians escape the carnage. GunHead and his sidekicks were by her side, working together to rescue those trapped. Flames engulfed the city, and the sounds of screams and crashing cars filled the air. Nomus, monstrous creatures with exposed brains, rampaged through the streets, their inhuman screeches sending chills down Ochako's spine.
"Go! Be careful," GunHead instructed, as Ochako touched a car, making it float. He quickly pulled the couple trapped inside to safety. "Release!" Ochako said, touching her fingertips, and the car gently descended to the ground.
"Uravity, go help any other bystanders. You have my permission to use your Quirk!" GunHead ordered, and Ochako nodded, her bob-shaped hair bouncing with the motion.
"On it!" she exclaimed before running into the mayhem. She began instructing people to evacuate, using her Gravity Quirk to lift debris and create a path to safety. The streets were a blur of chaos, with Nomus attacking and people running for their lives.
Ochako helped a few more people before a Nomu came hurtling towards her. She widened her eyes as she turned to face the monster, her heart racing. But before she could move, she tripped. "Crap!" she cursed, closing her eyes as the Nomu approached.
But just as suddenly, the Nomu was kicked in the face by a yellow boot, sending it flying through the street. The beast let out an inhuman screech as it crashed into a building.
Ochako's eyes snapped open, and she Grant Torino, the old man crouching on the down, as frantically looking around.
Gran Torino's expression was grim. "Tenya, that foolish kid... He's going to get himself killed. "
Ochako's mind raced as she thought about Izuku's words: "Someone once told me that, when we lose a loved one, we tend to do... things that we wouldn't normally do."
And then it hit her - Tenya's desire for revenge. She realized that he must have gone off to confront the person responsible for his brother's injury.
"Iida, tell me you didn't..." she whispered to herself, her heart sinking with the realization.
Gran Torino blasted off to fight and help people, leaving Ochako to search for her friend. She took off running, determined to find Tenya and stop him before it was too late.
...
A few minutes earlier...
Itsuka, Miruko, and Izuku patrolled the streets of Hosu, having arrived a couple of hours ago. The streets were quiet, with only a few copycats and minor villains to deal with. Itsuka yawned, "Patrols can be so boring."
Miruko shrugged, "Not every day can be about hunting down aliens or fighting supervillains."
Itsuka slowed her pace to walk beside Izuku, "Hey, Izuku, how'd you manage to turn into a Megawatt?"
Izuku thought for a moment, "Honestly, I'm not really sure. I just woke up, and the Omnitrix was glowing yellow, and Buzzshock was just... there."
Itsuka raised an eyebrow, "Buzzshock? Do you mean your Megawatt transformation?"
Izuku nodded, "Yeah, I'm calling it that. I think it's a pretty cool name!"
Itsuka chuckled, "You know, your names are usually pretty stupid."
Izuku grinned, "Hey, I think they're smart! Like Amphibian - that's a great name!"
Itsuka teased, "Sure thing, Dekiru 10."
Izuku retorted with a sarcastic laugh, "Ha ha, Battlefist!"
Itsuka's cheeks turned a little red as she defended her name, "Hey, Battlefist is a cool name!"
As they continued walking through the city, the lights shimmering around them, Miruko couldn't help but feel a flutter in her heart. She pushed the feeling aside, focusing on the patrol at hand, but she couldn't help sneaking glances at Izuku and Itsuka, happy to see them getting along so well.
The small moment with Itsuka was cut short as a piercing pain shot through Izuku's head, forcing him to clutch his skull in agony. His Danger Sense was going off, warning him of an imminent threat. Izuku frantically scanned their surroundings, his eyes widening as a foul smell filled the air. Miruko covered her nose, her face scrunched in distaste. "What is that smell?" she asked, but Izuku didn't have time to answer.
"Miruko, something's wrong! Danger Sense is going off!" he alerted her, his voice laced with urgency. Before Miruko could ask for clarification, her ears twitched, and a Nomu with wings came hurtling towards them at high speed, its screech making their stomachs drop. Izuku and Itsuka recognized the sound and turned upwards to see a large, pale yellow creature with an exposed brain and a breathing apparatus covering its mouth.
Izuku leaped into the air as the creature crashed down on the road, its impact sending shockwaves through the ground.
"Nomu?!" Itsuka and Izuku exclaimed in unison, their eyes wide with shock. Before they could react, another Nomu, this one large and green, appeared, raising its arm to attack. Izuku widened his eyes as Miruko delivered a powerful kick that sent the creature flying across the street, crashing into a building with a loud thud.
Izuku was still reeling from the previous attack when his Danger Sense alerted him to a new threat on his left. The world slowed down as he turned to face a dark alleyway, where a creature with unnatural, glowing eyes was launching itself towards him. Its jaw was unhinged, revealing razor-sharp teeth, and Izuku's arm was right between its jaws. Izuku's eyes flashed open, his gaze fixed on the creature's jaws as they closed in on his arm, mere inches from tearing his limb off. He felt the creature's teeth scrape against his arm, the sensation sending a chill down his spine.
The Omnitrix blazed to life, unleashing a powerful pulse that blasted the wolf's head apart, sending chunks of flesh and bone flying everywhere. The Omnitrix emitted a cloud of smoke as the pulse dissipated, and the wolf's headless body crumpled to the ground, its limbs twitching spasmodically as its life force ebbed away.
"Whoa, never did that before," Izuku said in awe, staring at the Omnitrix in disbelief.
Miruko rushed to his side, her eyes wide with concern. "Izuku, are you okay?"
Izuku nodded, still trying to process what had just happened. "Yeah, I think so. What about that thing?"
Miruko glanced at the wolf's headless body. "Don't worry about it. We'll worry about it later."
Here is the revised scene with the descriptions of the animals incorporated:
Miruko turned her focus on the Nomus, the one with wings who was slowly getting back up, as it turned its unfocused eyes to Izuku. "D...ku..."
The green, Nomu similar appearance to the one at USJ with a muscular body, charged at high speed towards the three. "Dekiru 10, are these things even human or alien?" Miruko asked as she could sense from her instincts alone that it wasn't human, just a mindless killing machine. But she needed clarification.
Izuku thought about it. How Tsukachi said if they were human, killing them would be mercy. "No, they're not. The one at USJ, I had to turn into Ash to stop it. They won't stop no matter what."
The moment those words left Izuku's mouth, Miruko sprang forward, and the green Nomu's head was crushed. The one with wings took off to the sky. As they green, one stopped moving.
"We need to keep moving. More people may need our help." Miruko stated. Itsuka and Izuku nodded.
"Oh. I don't think you are going anywhere." A male's voice said, echoing throughout. Izuku recognized the voice.
Before a leap and a croak were heard, followed by a thud, kicking dust, pushing vehicles back. Izuku widened his eyes as a frog-like creature with moss-green skin, and a light green neck appeared. It has two small horns on its forehead and two bone horns coming out of the sides of its head. It has four red eyes and orange lumps, with an olive-spiky tongue. "No way!" Izuku said, recognizing the frog.
"I recognize that croaker. That's Dr. Animo's frog!"
"The guy from the mall?" Itsuka asked.
"Ah!" He then heard his voice from atop the croaker. He had red-tinted goggles and a sleeveless black vest with metallic accents, including two circular devices on his chest. And two oversized mechanical arms. Izuku gasped in shock.
"Dr. Animo!" Izuku had to step back. "How did--"
"I find you? It wasn't difficult, especially with your recent exploits. And my new friends." Animo eluded.
"Friends?" He looked at the Nomus before realization hit him like a truck. "You're with the League of Villains!"
"Oh, clever, very clever. You think you are such a big shot after stopping my mutated creations! But they were only the beginning! I will not be denied my place in history. Oh, not this time, as I brought some friends for your current mentor. Miruko, you have attributes of an albino rabbit, am I correct?"
"Huh?" Miruko asked in confusion before a monstrous growling could be heard.
Before growling could be heard, six mutated wolves came; they were in a pack, growling and snarling. Their eyes glowed with an unnatural hunger, and their razor-sharp claws seemed to gleam in the light.
"Wolves are natural predators of rabbits," Animo said, his voice dripping with malice. "They hunt in packs, using their speed and agility to wear down their prey. And with my mutations, they are even more formidable."
Izuku and Itsuka had to step back, One For All crackling around Izuku while Itsuka enlarged her fists. Before hearing the sounds of what could only be described as mutant hawks.
Two mutated hawks flew down and perched on the roof of a nearby building, looking at Miruko like prey. Their wingspans were wide enough to cast a shadow over the entire area, and their sharp talons seemed to gleam in the light.
"Hawks are known for their sharp talons and piercing gaze," Animo said, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "They can spot their prey from miles away and swoop down with deadly precision."
Two mutated foxes pounced, looking at Miruko, circling her and the two students. Their bushy tails seemed to swish back and forth with excitement, and their cunning eyes seemed to gleam with intelligence. "Foxes are cunning and quick," Animo said, his voice dripping with admiration.
"They can outmaneuver their prey with ease and strike with deadly precision."
Next, slithering and hissing were heard from an alley as a mutated rattlesnake with two heads emerged. Its body seemed to slither back and forth, its two heads raised and ready to strike. "And finally, my mutated rattlesnake," Animo said, his voice dripping with excitement.
"With its two heads, it can strike from multiple angles, making it a formidable opponent for a woman of your speed."
Miruko looked around, biologically speaking. She was currently surrounded by her predators.
"So, Miruko, number 7 hero, how do you like my pets? I wonder, though, who will have the pleasure of tearing you apart first!" He said, clenching his fist.
Izuku expected Miruko to have an expression of fear or something, but to Animo's surprise, the woman had a grin, on her face, her eyes screaming in excitement. She cracked her knuckles.
"I'm not gonna lie. I have never been more excited!!"
...
Iida sped through Hosu, his heart racing with a mix of emotions - guilt, anger, and a burning desire for justice. He had been warned not to pursue Stain, but he couldn't shake off the feeling of responsibility to avenge his brother's attacker.
"That idiot's making a move. And he's so noisy." Iida skidded to a stop as he heard a man mutter in an alleyway. "I guess I will have to dispose of him later. But his lust to destroy everything can not be allowed. But now I have work to finish."
Iida glanced down at the alley and saw Stain standing over a hero, sword at the ready. His anger boiled over, and with a sonic boom, he sprang into action.
Stain's eyes turned red as he stabbed Iida through the shoulder, stopping him in his tracks. "Impressive speed. If it weren't for my recent enhancements, you would have taken me down before I could blink." Iida winced in pain, his vision blurring momentarily.
"A child wearing a suit of armour." Stain noted, his voice dripping with malice. "Run along. This is not a place for children."
Iida's anger turned to hatred as he glared at Stain. "You are Stain, the infamous Hero Killer." He spat out the words like venom.
Stain pointed his blade towards Iida's neck. "Your eyes... are you here for vengeance?" Iida's mind raced with thoughts of his brother, crippled by Stain's hands.
But then he remembered Gran Torino's words: "Not even a little bit. The best thing I got out of that was the satisfaction that he wasn't going to hurt anyone else." Iida thought about it, but his desire for vengeance was too strong. He couldn't just let Stain go.
"Listen, you criminal scum!" Iida shouted, his voice trembling with rage. "I am the younger brother of an amazing Hero who you attacked! My older brother, who worked diligently to save everyone! Who reached out a hand to everyone he could! Whose career came to an abrupt end by you!"
Iida stood up, his eyes locked on Stain. "I am Ingenuim! Remember the name, you foul villain! Because it's the name of the Hero who will defeat you!!"
"I see," Stain said, his blade gleaming with an eerie red light.
"Die," he spat, launching himself at Iida with inhuman speed.
Iida swung a kick, but Stain dodged it with ease, leaving Iida stunned. "How is he so fast?" Iida wondered in horror.
Stain rushed Iida, his spiked shoes pinning him to the ground. With a cold gaze, he stabbed Iida's already wounded shoulder, making him scream in agony.
"Both you and your brother are weak," Stain sneered. "You're both fakes. Your actions are driven by a desire for legacy, not true heroism."
Iida felt his defeat, but his anger and hatred for Stain only grew. "Shut up, villain!" he shouted, tears rolling down his face. "You paralyzed him from the waist down! He can't work as a hero anymore! You confined a man to a wheelchair! A man who I consider the best hero... There was no reason for you to crush him!"
Stain's expression remained cold, unmoved by Iida's words. "He was my hero... He is my hero!" Iida exclaimed. "Who gave me my dream! I won't forgive you... I'll kill you!!"
Stain pointed towards Native, who was lying on the wall, a wound on his shoulder. "Shouldn't you prioritize saving that guy?" he lectured.
"Reflect on yourself and save others. You use your powers only for yourself. The title of hero is only a way to maintain legacy. Being taken by hatred and trying to fulfil your own selfish desires... You are the furthest thing from a true hero."
...
Tenya could only glare at Stain, a villain who could countless had the nerve to lecture him on what a hero should be. It was infuriating and humiliating to be receiving such a lesson. However, Tenya couldn't help but agree. He should have called for help.
"Gran Torino was right... I didn't stand a chance! I didn't even use the lessons he taught him! I was too blinded!!" He thought frustratedly as he gritted his teeth. Even with the warnings and being admonished by Gran Torino.
"And that is why you must die!" Stain said as he licked Tenya's blood from the blade, a painful jolt went through his entire body, and he found himself he couldn't move a single part of his body.
"I...I can't move my body." Iida deducted.
"Goodbye. May your death be an offering to the new world."
"Shut up! I don't care what you say about me. You're still the bastard who hurt my brother!" Iida shouted.
Just as Stain was about to deliver the final blow, Ochako appeared out of nowhere, her hands stopping Stain's blade. "U-Uraraka?" Iida said in shock.
Ochako made a few quick motions with her hands, and Stain was lifted into the air, tossed side to side, and then thrown away from Iida. He smashed into the walls of the buildings, leaving cracks and dents in his wake. She was panting and breathing heavily, her face flushed with exhaustion.
Stain slowly got back up, his eyes fixed on Ochako. "You're a hero, I presume?" he asked, his voice dripping with malice. "What is it that drives you to play this role?"
Ochako's voice trembled slightly as she answered, "I... I want to be a hero. So I can give my mom and dad a better future. They're currently struggling to make money, so I'll become a hero to give them a better future."
Stain sneered at her. "How quaint. Do you think being a hero will solve all your problems? You're just using this as an excuse to gain fame and fortune. You don't care about helping others, only about yourself."
Ochako's fear was now evident, and she took a step back, her eyes fixed on Stain with a mix of terror and determination. "Of course not!" she exclaimed. "I'll do everything in my power to save everyone!"
Stain's expression turned cold and calculating. "Oh, how noble. But what happens when the stakes are high? Will you risk your life to save others? Leave your family to fend for themselves while you play hero? I think not."
Ochako's face contorted in fear, her eyes widening as Stain's words struck a chord within her. She looked like she was about to back down, but then her expression changed, and she shook her head, focusing on Iida. As she discreetly sent out her location.
Stain's sneer grew wider. "No matter how you spin it, you're a hero for the money, nothing else. And it's my job to purge fake heroes like you."
The murderous gaze Stain had been sending Ochako had been almost paralyzing."C'mon Ochako, you have to save Iida! What would Dekiru do in this situation?" She thought to herself.
"I-Iida, don't worry, I-I'm going to save you. " Ochako said, her tone betraying how terrified she was.
...
"You know Midoriya, if I'm being honest, I thought this week would be pretty boring..." Miruko crouched down, and Izuku could see the smallest smirk across her face.
"But this whole week, I've never been this excited my entire life!!" She exclaimed, her eyes gleaming with anticipation.
With Izuku surrounded by the mutant beasts of Dr. Animo, Miruko, charged forward with a psychotic grin, her eyes fixed on the villain.
"You're controlling all these monsters, all these mutant monsters!! All I have to do is take you out!" she declared, her voice dripping with determination. Miruko looked to jump in and fight when footsteps were heard.
What in the world...?!" Hero 1 trailed off, eyes wide with shock. "Are those...mutated animals?!"
Hero 2 took a step back, hand on her mouth. "This is insane! We have to protect those two students!"
Hero 3's face was set in a grim expression. We need to get everyone to safety, now!"
"Miruko can handle herself," Hero 1 said, "but those two are just students. We can't let anything happen to them!"
Miruko just smirked before The frog Animo was sitting on leapt into the air, and Miruko widened her stance as the two-headed serpent launched themselves at her. She dodged the heads with ease, her movements lightning-fast, before she heard the squawking of the hawks as they swooped in.
A green flash erupted, and a powerful shockwave rocked the ground as the hawks were met with red fists. The force of the impact sent both hawks flying into the building, crashing into it with a deafening explosion.
Itsuka landed alongside Four Arms, flexing her muscles in preparation for the battle ahead. They both flexed, Miruko smirking in anticipation.
" Destroy the machine on his chest! That doohookie thing, all these monsters will go back to normal!" Four Arms shouted, his voice ringing out across the battlefield.
"Got it!" Itsuka and Miruko shouted in unison, their voices filled with determination. But before they could act, Danger Sense and Miruko's ears twitched, warning them of an incoming attack.
"Oh? What now?" Four Arms and Miruko complained, one sounding more worried, the other more excited.
And then, the earth beneath them shook, Four Arms was suddenly rammed and his body was wrapped by a trunk and tossed violently through a building as he landed luckily in an empty building and it fell on him.
Itsuka winced before she felt her phone buzz. She looked and saw Ochako sending out her location. "Ochako? She just sent her location? And she's in Hosu. This can't be good."
However, before she could question it, the sound of a trunk echoed throughout. She turned to see prehistoric mammoths, their feet stomping onto the ground, shaking the ground beneath them.
She turned to see a colossal creature emerging from the darkness - a prehistoric mammoth, its fur a thick, shaggy coat of brown and grey, its tusks gleaming like ivory scimitars in the moonlight. The beast's massive feet stomped onto the ground, shaking the earth and sending shockwaves through the air. Itsuka's eyes widened as she took in the mammoth's enormity; it was easily twice times the size of Four Arms, who stood at an impressive 12 feet tall. The mammoth's trunk alone was as long as a school bus, and its tusks looked capable of impaling a skyscraper.
From afar, she could a purple vortex closing seeing the familiar yellow eyes of Kurogiri. "The portal villain." She whispered.
Before she could even react, Four Arms exploded out of the rubble, his massive frame bursting forth like a human cannonball. He landed with a thunderous crash, sending shockwaves through the ground and causing the mammoth to stumble. "
Izuku!" Itsuka shouted urgently, her voice barely audible over the din of the mammoth's trumpeting. "I think Ochako's in trouble! She just sent her location!"
...
Four Arms' expression turned grim, his eyes narrowing with concern. "Ochako... in trouble?"
He growled his deep voice laced with protective instincts. his massive fists clenched at his sides. But before he could even process the thought, the mammoth's trunk slapped him aside like a pesky insect, sending him crashing into a nearby building.
The impact was tremendous, the sound of crunching steel and concrete filling the air as Four Arms' massive frame smashed through the wall. The mammoth's trunk was like a living whip, its muscles rippling beneath its thick hide as it struck with precision and power.
Four Arms shot out of the rubble like a human bullet, his massive fists glowing with a fierce aura. He delivered a powerful right hook that connected with a meaty thud, the sound of the impact echoing through the air like a crack of thunder.
The mammoth's head snapped back, its tusks glinting in the moonlight as it stumbled backward. Four Arms seized the opportunity, grabbing the mammoth's trunk and spinning it around like a living lasso.
Using the beast's own momentum against it. He then threw the mammoth into the other two, causing all three to stumble backward. The mammoths struggled to get back up, their massive bodies crashing into the buildings as they tried to regain their footing.
Four Arms sprang into action, his four arms raised like pistons, ready to strike. With a thunderous crack, he brought them down on the mammoth's back, the sound echoing off the city streets. The mammoth's head smashed into the asphalt, sending cracks spiderwebbing through the ground.
As he turned to face the final mammoth, the city lights glinted off his determined gaze. With a swift motion, he cocked back his fist and launched a right hook, charged with the power of One For All. The blow connected with a deafening crash, shattering the mammoth's tusk and sending the prehistoric beast stumbling backward, its massive body crashing into a row of cars, crushing them beneath its weight.
"So hot," Miruko and Itsuka thought in unison, their faces flushing with excitement.
The three pros looked on in awe."Holy shit." Came the unison of a few bystanders who were being evacuated and pros alike.
A hero gulped nervously."Guess t-the students don't need our protection."
Another hero just gave a shaky nod.
...
Ochako was scared, no, terrified. "What would Dekiru do? He would analyze the situation." She looked around and saw Native bleeding out on the wall and Iida on the floor.
"Uraraka, why are you here?" Iida asked.
Ochako explained, "When Dekiru said you might do something, I didn't know what he meant, but when that old man called out your name... Gran Torino? I had a bad feeling you were in trouble. I guess I was right."
Ochako ran up to Iida and stood in front of him defensively. "Can you move?" she asked, keeping her eyes on the Hero Killer.
Iida struggled to move, "No... I can't... move my body. He cut me, and I couldn't... I think it's his quirk."
Stain scoffed, "You're both fakes, and you act so ungrateful, even to this venal girl. But it matters not. I have a duty to kill both of you."
Ochako thought, "He reminds me of that villain Kaine from USJ. His aura alone is making me feel sick! I can't run!"
She raised her fist and unconsciously took a similar fighting stance to Midoriya. "The Pros are busy with dealing with the mutant monsters and Nomu, so it's my job to protect you and Native."
Stain charged towards Ochako with incredible speed, his eyes gleaming with red light. Ochako outstretched her arms, and a pink hue appeared on her palms. As Stain came to a stop, stopping him in mid-air. "Telekinesis? No, more akin to the manipulation of gravity."
Stain's eyes widened in surprise as he realized he was frozen in place. Ochako's gravity powers had stopped him cold, leaving him dangling in mid-air like a puppet on strings.
But Stain was not one to be underestimated. With a twisted grin, he dispensed a blade from his gauntlet and launched it at Ochako with lightning-fast speed.
Ochako's eyes widened in horror as the blade stabbed her straight into her shoulder. She felt her focus falter, and her gravity powers wavered, dropping Stain from his suspended state.
Stain landed with a thud, and Iida looked in shock, "Y-You have other quirks?"
Stain replied, "No. Magnetism. My body is a living weapon." He called the blade back to him, grabbed it in mid-air, and licked it with a menacing grin.
Ochako felt her body seize up, her eyes wide with horror. "I... I can't move."
Stain began scraping the tip of his blade on the ground, the sound sending chills down Ochako's spine. "Power hungry, wealth hungry, corrupt. You don't deserve the title of hero!!!" He raised his blade, and Iida looked in horror. "NO!!"
Just then, a powerful sonic scream erupted, "Earphone Echo!!" The sound waves were so intense that they shattered windows and sent debris flying everywhere. Everyone in the alley who could move was forced to cover their ears. Stain winced from the sonic blast and was met by a stream of flames blasting him back with incredible force. The flames engulfed him, causing his body to stumble backward.
Iida darted his eyes and saw Kyouka and Todoroki, his left side ignited in flames. "Todoroki? Jirou? You two?!"
Ochako looked in relief, "You got my message!"
"Uraraka... Your text was kind of sudden. I needed to decipher your message. Next time, kindly give more details before requesting my aid," Todoroki said, his voice firm but concerned.
"Oh right sure, next time she'll provide a detailed description," Jirou remarked, plugging her jacks into her boots. "How about we focus on making sure that there is a next time."
Todoroki nodded, "Agreed."
...
Back with Four Arm, Izuku walked up to Itsuka. In a green flash, he took out his phone and saw the location. "It's an alleyway? Don't tell me...!" he muttered, his expression worried.
"Itsuka I'm going after Ochako," Izuku stated, his determination clear.
Itsuka nodded, seeing the worried look on his face. "Miruko! Do you trust me!" Izuku called out, his voice carrying over the chaos of the wolves charging towards them.
Miruko nodded, and Izuku kicked one wolf into another, sending them both flying with a loud thud. The impact was so powerful that it sent shockwaves through the ground.
"I think a friend is in danger, I'll send you an address. Bring as many heroes as you can for backup!" he shouted, already dialling the Omnitrix.
Miruko nodded, her expression serious. "You're not one to suddenly ditch people, so this is serious. You can go! Any heroes give you grief about using your quirk. You can tell them to shove it. You have my permission!"
Izuku nodded One For All crackling throughout him. "One problem!" Miruko and Itsuka exclaimed in unison as two mutated hawks launched themselves at Izuku.
Izuku dodged the attacks with ease, his agility allowing him to maneuver through the hawks' large wingspans. He weaved between their attacks, his eyes fixed on the hawks.
"Dr. Animo isn't just going to let you leave!" Miruko said as a mutated fox and another creature attacked.
Itsuka punched the creature with a powerful blow, sending it flying across the road with a loud crash. Miruko delivered an axe kick to the mutated fox, her leg slicing through the air with deadly precision. The fox let out a pained yelp as Miruko's kick connected, sending it crashing into the ground with a thud.
"He came here for you!" Miruko stated, crouching down. "But there's something that kinda bugs me. This attack is too organized like he's too prepared."
Izuku frowned, confused. "What do you mean?"
"All the animals he mutated are natural predators of a rabbit," Itsuka explained. "And I don't think he woke up this morning and mutated all these specific creatures by chance."
Miruko narrowed her eyes in suspicion. "He must have known ahead of time that you would be interning with me."
Izuku's expression turned grim, but he pushed the thought aside and activated the Omnitrix. With the alien chosen, he charged towards the murderous birds, slamming down with a green flash. "Ghostfreak!?" Ghostfreak said in surprise. "Ah, man, I didn't pick you."
The squawking of the hawks pulled Ghostfreak's attention, and he vanished, reappearing behind the hawks. His claws swiped at the hawks with deadly precision, slicing through their eyes and blinding them. The hawks let out pained screeches as Ghostfreak's claws tore through their feathers and flesh, exposing their internal organs.
He then proceeded to slash at their wings, sending them crashing to the ground with a loud thud. As they struggled to get back to their feet, Ghostfreak pierced their heads with black and white tentacles, ending their mutated lives in a gruesome display of blood and gore.
Ghostfreak gazed at the destruction he had wrought, his one eye gleaming with a fierce intensity as he took in the carnage. His gaze lingered for a moment before the memory of Ochako snapped him back to attention. "Ochako!" he exclaimed, his voice tinged with worry.
With a burst of speed, Ghostfreak vanished, moving at incredible velocities towards Ochako's location. One For All amplified his speed, allowing him to move like a spectre, his ghostly form blurring as he devoured the distance.
As he moved, the flames from the burning buildings below him seemed to part like a curtain, revealing a horrific scene. A Nomu, its grotesque form towering over the streets, violently hurled a bus filled with screaming people into the air. The citizens' terrified faces were frozen in mid-scream as the bus soared towards its doom.
With lightning-quick reflexes, Ghostfreak swooped in, his ghostly forming a blur as he caught the bus with his tentacles, suspending it mid-air The people inside stared at him with wide eyes, their faces etched with gratitude.
Ghostfreak gently set the bus down, its occupants spilling out onto the sidewalk, thanking the ghostly alien with tears in their eyes.
With a fierce determination burning within him, Ghostfreak brandished his claws, his one eye fixed intently on the Nomu. "Don't worry, Ochako, I'll get to you. I just have to get through big, ugly here first."
...
Iida gritted his teeth in anger, his eyes blazing with fierce determination as he watched the battle between Jirou, Todoroki, and the Hero Killer intensify in the narrow alleyway.
Todoroki stood behind Kyouka, his flames at the ready, as Kyouka launched a massive sonic attack that shook the very walls of the alleyway. The sound waves crashed against the Hero Killer, sending him stumbling backward.
The Hero Killer quickly regained his footing and dodged Todoroki's flames, slicing through the inferno with his blade.
"It's good seeing you use your flames," Jirou praised, but Todoroki was taken aback.
"Yeah," he replied, his focus solely on the battle.
The Hero Killer snarled, slicing through the flames once more.
"So, you're here seeking glory?" he sneered, his voice dripping with malice.
"Answering a distress call," Shouto replied, his voice firm, as he sent forth a gout of flames that would have melted steel.
"Feh, your blood will tell," the Hero Killer spat, his eyes flashing with hatred. "And your father is a disgrace to the word Hero,"
he threw a knife that would have killed any ordinary human. But Shouto was no ordinary human. With a swift motion, he dodged the knife, his eyes locked on the Hero Killer.
"Huh, I never expected to agree with a mass murderer, but this month has been full of surprises."
Kyouka unleashed a massive sonic scream, the sound waves crashing against Stain like a physical blow. Stain braced for the attack, but Kyouka's relentless assault pushed him back.
"We just have to keep him at bay," Kyouka stated her voice firm with determination.
Todoroki nodded, his eyes fixed on Stain. "He's taken multiple hits, and he barely looks like he's taken any damage," Todoroki said, frustration etched on his face.
Stain snarled, his eyes flashing with anger. "Your voice is irritating. How about we cut this siren's throat, shall we?" He tossed a blade towards Jirou's throat with deadly precision.
Todoroki reacted instinctively, pushing Jirou out of the way and taking the blade on his own shoulder. The sound of steel slicing through flesh was like a punch to the gut, and Iida felt his anger surge. Seeing the blood drip from Todoroki's shoulder made Iida's eyes widen in horror.
"This has nothing to do with you! I inherited my brother's name! This is my fight!" Iida exclaimed, his voice trembling with rage.
Kyouka groaned, her voice laced with sarcasm. "Yeah, a fight you're clearly winning."
"Really, sarcasm now?!" Ochako, still paralyzed, chastised Kyouka, her voice strained.
"R-Right, sorry, a serial killer in front of us," Kyouka said apologetically, her eyes locked on Stain.
"Uraka, can you keep him suspended, you know, using your quirk?" Todoroki asked Ochako, his voice firm with urgency.
"I-I barely can move, he paralyzed me like Tenya, he cuts you and you're frozen," Ochako struggled to reply, her voice barely above a whisper.
Kyouka's jacks hovered over Native, her expression concerned. "And the other is out cold. He needs help as soon as possible. And I don't like the wounds Iida and Ochako got."
Stain mocked Iida, "Ah, showing concern for an injured? Take notes, boy."
Iida's face reddened with anger. "Shut up! You two need to take Uraraka and Native and go! This is my fight! I don't need your help!! Why are you even here? This doesn't even concern you!"
Kyouka thought for a moment before responding. "B-Because helping someone even when they're not asking for help, or the guy is a total dick, is what makes a true hero!" She gazed forward, her eyes burning with determination. "At least, that's what Midoriya does."
Ochako's gaze drifted off, a soft smile on her face as if remembering a fond memory. Todoroki, too, seemed lost in thought, a small smile playing on his lips.
Iida's expression faltered, his anger momentarily forgotten. He looked at Kyouka, then Todoroki, his eyes searching for something.
Todoroki's left side ignited into flames, his voice firm. "Yeah. We'll protect these three no matter what."
With a fierce determination, Kyouka unleashed a sonic blast that shook the air, but Hero Killer merely smiled maniacally, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
"You're worth living alive!" he exclaimed, his voice dripping with sadistic pleasure.
Undeterred, Todoroki summoned a stream of ice that encased Stain, the sound of cracking ice echoing through the air as he shattered himself free. Kyouka responded with another sonic scream, shattering the ice and blasting Hero Killer with a tidal wave of sound. But this time, he dug his blade into the ground, his eyes fixed on Kyouka with an unnerving intensity.
As the sound wave crashed against him, Hero Killer began to push back, his movements eerily reminiscent of a climber ascending a mountain. His ears bled, but he continued to advance, his blade slicing through the air with deadly precision.
Iida watched in horror, his heart heavy with shame and despair. Kyouka's screams were like a knife to his soul, her determination to keep Hero Killer at bay a testament to her unwavering courage. Todoroki's wound, and Uraraka's paralysis, weighed heavily on his conscience.
"Please stop... I can't watch this... None of you should be here," Iida whimpered, his voice cracking with emotion.
Kyouka finally stopped her assault, coughing raggedly as she struggled to catch her breath.
Ochako's voice was laced with desperation as she spoke, "I think we're way past that now!"
The air was thick with tension, the battle far from over. Hero Killer's maniacal laughter echoed through the air, his blade poised for the next strike.
Kyouka's eyes blazed with determination, her voice hoarse from screaming. "We can't let him win. We have to protect our friends!"
Stain's voice echoed through the alleyway, his words dripping with conviction. "Even now... After your friends show up to save your pathetic life, you're still hellbent on revenge. You and that girl make me sick! Only caring about selfish desires like revenge and money. Using your quirks for your own desires. You are no heroes! Just pretenders, fakes that fill our society. And it's my job to purge them from this society!!"
Kyouka's eyes blazed with anger as she shot a glare at Stain. "Oh, wow, you have the absolute nerve to scold Iida about using his quirk selfishly, but you're doing the same thing!" she shouted, her voice echoing off the alleyway walls.
Stain's expression remained calm and collected, his eyes cold and hard. He took a step forward, his blade at the ready.
Kyouka continued, her voice fueled by outrage. "You're using your quirk to murder heroes just to push your own agenda! And how dare you shame Iida for wanting revenge? You crippled his brother!"
Stain's gaze flickered to Iida, his expression unchanging. He shook his head, his eyes returning to Kyouka.
Kyouka's sonic blast hit Stain like a physical blow, but he stood firm, his conviction unwavering. "And heroes who only do it for fame and money? How many heroes did you let live so they could spread the word about 'you'!? You're not some messiah. You're a self-righteous psychopath trying to justify your needless murder!"
Stain's expression twisted into a snarl. "You're just a foolish little girl, playing hero without a clue. I'm the one who's going to clean up this rotten society, and you're just a relic of the past."
Iida's eyes narrowed, his fists clenched in anger. Todoroki's gaze remained fixed on Stain, his expression cold and hard.
Stain's expression twisted into a snarl. "You're just a foolish little girl. I'm the one who's going to bring back the true heroes, the ones who fought for justice, not for fame or fortune. The ones who risked everything to protect the innocent, not just to line their own pockets."
With that, he charged forward, Kyouka was about to let out another sonic scream, but her throat was sore, and it required a lot of energy. "Dammit." She said, plugging into her jacks. "Heartbeat!!"
Sonic blast echoed from her boosts. However, her boots were far weaker than her sonic sound as Stain leaped on the wall. "Last I checked, Ingenuim didn't act like this! Guess you've got a dark side, too!" Iida looked up at Todoroki, confusion on his face.
"Iida, I'm going to tell you the exact same thing that was told to me not long ago! Never forget the hero who you want to become!" He launched a torrent of flames at Stain, who was running on the wall.
"You want to stop this? Then stand up! Fight for your friends as the hero you want to be! Your own hero!" Stain leapt through the flames, his blade crimson in the night, and aimed at Todoroki's left.
"Let's free you from your father's flame now, shall we?" As his blade descended down, Todoroki closed his eyes in anticipation, but just as the blade was about to slice through his left arm.
Ochako shouted, "I-I can't move, but at least I can stop him from moving!!" She used her Quirk to immobilize Stain in mid-air, her face set in determination.
Stain was immobilized, floating in mid-air, his blade mere inches away from Todoroki's left arm. Todoroki's eyes widened in shock as he stared at Stain's blade.
"I can't do anything else!" Ochako exclaimed, her determination evident. In an instant, Stain's blade was broken, and he was kicked back by Iida with a powerful strike, landing in the center of the alleyway.
"Ugh, so many interruptions," Stain said, pulling out another blade with a swift motion. "Where do you keep getting all these swords?" Kyouka asked, exasperated.
Iida stood tall, tears in his eyes. "I'm so sorry. This had nothing to do with any of you. My selfish actions dragged you all into this mess."
Stain sneered. "Apologizing won't get you anywhere. You're just another corrupted flame that needs to be extinguished before it spreads."
Shoto countered, "Don't listen to him, he's just a hypocritical psychopath."
Iida admitted, "No, he's right. At least, about me. But I won't let anyone else die because of my foolish mistakes. I won't let my friends shed blood because of me. Gran Torino warned me, Midoriya tried to help, but I let my anger blind me. Tonight, I am Iida, and I will take you down as the hero Ingenuim! The right way."
Stain scoffed his voice dripping with disdain."You're hopeless. You think that little speech will save you? Do you know how many people have tried to act like you, just they could escape their deserved deaths? You don't change in one night."
Ochako shouted, "Shut up! Like you know anything! How can you change society if you won't even give someone the chance to change?"
Stain spat, "I won't listen to your whorish mouth. You're only in it for the money. You have no say."
Ochako was a little hurt by that statement, as Stain charged forward with incredible speed, his blade flashing in the light. Iida launched himself at equally impressive speeds, his kick aiming straight for Stain's head. But Stain ducked under the attack with ease, his movements lightning-fast.
Todoroki shot out a trail of ice, trying to stop the villain in his tracks. But Stain leapt into the air, twirling his blade with a whirlwind motion that dispersed the flames. He landed gracefully on the ground, his blade flashing again as he spun it with incredible speed.
Kyouka, with her earphones plugged in, shattered the ground beneath Stain's feet, creating an opening for Iida to bounce off the wall and land a powerful kick on Stain's head. The impact was tremendous, the sound of the kick echoing through the air.
But Stain recovered quickly, grabbing Iida's leg and slamming him into the wall with a surprising amount of strength. "Now let me kill you!" Stain snarled, his blade pressed against Iida's neck.
Shoto launched a torrent of flames, blasting Stain off Iida. "So annoying," Stain muttered, as he launched himself towards Todoroki. The blade impaled in Todoroki's shoulder was pulled out, and before the blood could even be licked, Todoroki's body seized up, paralyzed.
Kyouka widened in horror as Stain set his sights on her. He launched two blades, threatening to cut her earjacks. She retracted quickly, the blade soaring by, but then she was kicked and impaled into the wall by Stain's katana. "You're worth letting live," Stain said with malice.
Ochako's eyes widened in terror as Stain's shadowy figure loomed over her, his blade glinting in the dim light. She tried to move, but her body was paralyzed, unable to respond to her brain's frantic signals. Todoroki, still paralyzed, struggled to speak, his voice barely a whisper. "Crap..." Jirou's voice was laced with panic as she tried to pull out the blade, but it was stuck fast.
Iida, still recovering from his cracked rib, watched in horror as the world seemed to slow down. The blade began its descent, and Ochako's eyes went wide with fear. She was going to die. The realization hit her like a ton of bricks, and she was unable to move or speak. All she could do was watch as the blade came closer and closer...
Stain's eyes were cold, calculating, and devoid of any emotion. He was a machine, a killing machine, and Ochako was his next target. The blade was just inches from her neck now, and she could feel its cold steel whispering against her skin. This was it. This was the end.
Just as Stain was about to deliver the final blow, a familiar hum filled the air. It was the distinctive sound of All Might's power being unleashed, a vibration that seemed to shake the very air molecules. But it wasn't just All Might who was capable of producing this hum - a certain green-haired teenager shared the same ability. The hum grew louder.
In an instant, a thunderous, earth-shaking, and deafeningly loud strike hit Stain, sending the villain flying back with incredible force.
"What the...?!"
The villain's body crashed into the wall at the end of the alleyway, creating a massive crater and sending dust and debris flying everywhere.
The ground trembled beneath their feet as the attack's sound echoed throughout the alleyway like the clap of thunder. Everyone was left stunned and confused, wondering what had just happened. The attack was so powerful it seemed to shake the foundations of the alleyway.
Kyouka and Ochako's hearts skipped a beat as they gazed at Izuku, their eyes wide with admiration.
Before Ochako could even process the scene, a familiar ghostly figure materialized before her. It was Ghostfreak, his chains rattling as he floated above her.
A green flash erupted as Izuku Midoriya appeared in front of Ochako.
Kyouka and Ochako's hearts skipped a beat as they gazed at Izuku, their eyes wide with admiration.
"Don't you dare lay a finger on my friends!" Izuku exclaimed, his eyes blazing with determination as he punched his palm. At the same time, One For All crackled to life around him, illuminating the alleyway with a vibrant green glow.
