Welcome

**Chapter 5: Morning Tension**

The early morning light filtered through the thin fabric of the tent, casting soft shadows on the figures resting inside. Naruto stirred, his body feeling unusually warm and comfortable. Something soft was beneath him, and as he slowly became more aware of his surroundings, he realized that his head was resting on something... *very* soft.

His eyes fluttered open, and he found himself staring directly at Ino's chest, her arms wrapped around him protectively. She was still fast asleep, and much to his embarrassment, she wasn't wearing much aside from her bra. Her peaceful breathing made her chest rise and fall, and Naruto immediately felt his face heat up with a deep blush.

*Oh no... oh no, oh no...* Naruto thought, panic rising in his chest. He tried to move, to slip out from her grasp without waking her, but as he began to shift, Ino's arms tightened around him, pulling him back down.

"Naruto..." she mumbled in her sleep, her voice soft and full of emotion.

Naruto froze, his face now a bright shade of red as he lay there, unsure of what to do. *I have to get out of here before she wakes up and...*

Suddenly, Ino's eyes fluttered open. She blinked a few times before realizing the situation. Her face turned red, but instead of letting go, she pulled Naruto even closer, her emotions spilling out. "Naruto!" she cried, her voice filled with relief and worry. "You're awake! I was so worried about you!"

Before Naruto could say a word, Ino's arms wrapped tighter around him, and she planted a kiss on his cheek. Then another one. And before Naruto knew what was happening, Ino's lips were all over his face in a flurry of affectionate kisses.

"W-wait! Ino, stop! This is too much!" Naruto stammered, completely overwhelmed by her sudden display of affection.

But Ino wasn't stopping. "I was so scared, Naruto! Don't you ever scare me like that again!" she said between kisses, her voice shaking slightly.

Naruto's face was now entirely red, and he tried to speak, but Ino was relentless. Her kisses left traces of her lipstick on his cheeks, his forehead, and even his nose. Naruto's lips were the last target, leaving him flustered beyond belief.

Just then, the flap of the tent opened, and Sakura stepped in, only to stop dead in her tracks at the sight before her. There was Ino, half-dressed, sitting on top of a blushing Naruto, covering him in kisses. Her eyes widened in shock, her mouth hanging open.

"Ino! What the... Are you serious?" Sakura shouted, her face turning red with a mix of surprise and frustration. "You're turning this tent into a...!"

Ino turned to face her, her arms still draped over Naruto. She shot Sakura an annoyed look. "Can't you see we're busy, forehead?" she said, her tone sharp. "Go away and let me have my time with *Naru baby*."

Sakura's eyes darted to Naruto, who was struggling to wipe off the bright red lipstick marks from his face, completely at a loss for words. "Naruto! Say something!" Sakura demanded, crossing her arms.

Naruto tried to speak but found himself tongue-tied. "I... I didn't... This isn't...!" he stammered, unsure how to explain the situation.

Ino, however, wasn't about to let Sakura ruin her moment. She shot Sakura a playful smile. "Jealous, forehead? You wish you had someone like Naruto to cuddle with!"

Sakura's frustration grew, but before she could retort, Ino leaned down and gave Naruto one more kiss on the cheek before finally releasing him from her grasp. "Come on, Naru baby," she said with a wink. "Let's get some breakfast."

Naruto, still reeling from the series of events, tried to stand up, but Ino playfully pushed him back down. "I'll bring breakfast to you," she said with a mischievous grin. "You deserve to be spoiled today."

As Ino left the tent to grab some food, Naruto sat there, his head spinning from all the unexpected affection. He wiped his face again, still feeling the sticky remnants of her lipstick. *What just happened?* he thought, his mind racing.

Sakura, still standing at the entrance of the tent, let out an exasperated sigh. "Honestly, Naruto, how do you even get yourself into these situations?"

Naruto shrugged, finally managing a sheepish smile. "I... really don't know."

Ino returned shortly after with a tray of food in her hands, a smile plastered across her face. She sat down next to Naruto and held up a spoonful of rice. "Open up, Naru baby. I'm feeding you today."

Naruto blinked in confusion. "I can feed myself, Ino," he said, trying to take the spoon from her.

But Ino wasn't having it. "Nope! I'm spoiling you today. Just sit back and let me take care of you." She winked at him, clearly enjoying herself as she held the spoon closer to his mouth.

Naruto sighed, knowing there was no point in arguing. Reluctantly, he opened his mouth and allowed Ino to feed him, his face turning red once again as she continued to dote on him.

Hinata, who had been watching from a distance, glanced at the scene with a heavy heart. Seeing Naruto, the one she had admired for so long, being pampered by Ino stirred feelings of sadness within her. She sighed softly, her eyes downcast as she whispered to herself, "Naru... baby..."

Meanwhile, Ino continued to feed Naruto, her mood light and cheerful. "There you go! Doesn't that taste good?" she asked, beaming at him.

Naruto, still feeling overwhelmed, nodded as he chewed. "Y-Yeah, it's good."

The rest of the team couldn't help but watch the unusual scene unfold. Shikamaru, passing by with a raised eyebrow, muttered, "Troublesome," while Sasuke gave a faint smirk but said nothing.

And so, the morning continued with Ino happily fussing over Naruto, feeding him and pampering him as if he were a king, while Naruto sat there, too embarrassed to protest.

As dawn broke over the ruined village, the air was thick with tension. The Konoha team prepared to leave, the girl they had rescued walking silently with them, still shaken from the horrors she had endured. Naruto, however, remained distant, his cold demeanor casting a shadow over the group.

The rest of the team, despite their own exhaustion, couldn't help but notice the change in him. He hadn't spoken much since the incident, and his once vibrant and warm personality had turned into something more withdrawn, more dangerous.

As they packed up, Shikamaru approached Naruto, his hands in his pockets, a frown on his face. He had been observing Naruto closely, and something about his behavior wasn't sitting right with him.

"Naruto," Shikamaru called, his voice steady. "We need to talk. This can't keep going on like this."

Naruto, who had been silently tightening his gear, glanced up at Shikamaru with cold, emotionless eyes. There was no warmth there, no recognition of the bond they once shared. "I don't owe you anything, Shikamaru," he replied flatly.

The tension in the air grew thick as Shikamaru's frown deepened. "You've been acting strange ever since the battle. This isn't like you. We're supposed to be a team, and you're isolating yourself from us."

Naruto stood up slowly, his height adding to the intimidating aura he now carried. "If you want to pick a fight, I'll end it in a second," he said, his tone cold as ice, his words cutting through the air like a blade.

Shikamaru clenched his jaw, his sharp eyes locking onto Naruto's. He wasn't one to be intimidated easily, but the look in Naruto's eyes—those once familiar, friendly blue eyes—was different now. There was something dark, something unsettling lurking beneath the surface.

Before the situation could escalate further, Ino stepped in between them, placing a hand on Naruto's arm. "Naru baby, stop," she said softly, her voice full of concern. "Don't cause any more trouble."

Naruto looked down at her, his expression softening slightly but still tinged with cold detachment. He said nothing, but his eyes flicked back to Shikamaru, who remained on edge, watching the scene carefully.

Sasuke, who had been standing off to the side, crossed his arms and spoke up. "That's enough," he said firmly, his voice carrying authority. "We don't have time for this."

Naruto's gaze lingered on Shikamaru for a moment longer before he finally turned away, the tension between them unresolved but simmering beneath the surface. Shikamaru let out a small sigh, his mind still troubled by the strange shift in Naruto's behavior.

Sakura, watching from a distance, stepped forward and gently scolded Naruto. "You don't have to act like this, Naruto," she said, her voice full of frustration. "What happened to the guy who cared about his friends?"

Without turning to look at her, Naruto replied coldly, "Shut up, *Bubblegum Head*."

The insult hit Sakura hard, and she froze in place, her cheeks flushing with a mixture of anger and embarrassment. Ino, who had been standing nearby, burst into laughter, clearly enjoying the exchange. "Oh, Naru baby, you're too much!" she giggled, her eyes twinkling with amusement.

Sakura, feeling humiliated, clenched her fists. "You think it's funny, Ino-pig?" she snapped, her anger flaring. "I swear, if you weren't so—"

Ino, still grinning, interrupted her with a playful wink. "Oh, come on, forehead. I don't mind when *Naru baby* teases me like that. He's just so handsome, don't you think?"

Naruto raised an eyebrow, his usual sense of humor gone, replaced by a cold detachment. "You like being insulted? Pathetic," he muttered, shaking his head. "You really have no self-respect."

Sakura, who had been about to defend herself, was once again caught off guard by Naruto's harsh words. Her face turned bright red as she sputtered, unable to form a proper response. Ino, however, found the entire situation hilarious, laughing even harder at Sakura's misfortune.

"If you weren't so handsome, *Naru baby,* I'd destroy you for saying that," Sakura finally managed to say, her voice shaking with anger and embarrassment.

Naruto glanced at her, his cold eyes gleaming with amusement. "As if you could."

Sakura opened her mouth to retort, but no words came out. The sting of his words hit her deeper than she expected, and she stood there, speechless, as Ino clutched her stomach, laughing uncontrollably.

Sasuke, who had been watching the interaction with mild interest, let out a small chuckle, and even Hinata, who had been silently observing from the side, couldn't suppress a quiet giggle.

Ino, still laughing, wrapped her arms around Naruto and smiled up at him. "I'm the only one who hasn't been insulted by you yet, *Naru baby*," she teased, her voice playful.

Naruto, with his usual detached expression, looked down at her and said bluntly, "Shut up, Silver Hair."

Ino's face turned bright red, not from anger but from embarrassment. "W-What? You didn't have to be so rude, *Naru baby*!" she stammered, clearly flustered.

Sakura, who had been fuming moments before, couldn't help but burst into laughter at Ino's misfortune. "Looks like even you're not immune to his insults, Ino-pig!"

The two girls glared at each other, their tempers flaring once again. "Shut up, *Forehead*!" Ino snapped.

"Why don't you keep quiet, *Piggy*!" Sakura shot back.

Before the argument could escalate any further, Shikamaru stepped forward, using his Shadow Possession Jutsu to freeze both of them in place. "Enough," he said, his voice exasperated. "We don't have time for this nonsense. We've got a mission to complete."

The two girls, still caught in Shikamaru's jutsu, grumbled in unison, "She started it!"

Naruto, watching the scene unfold, let out a sigh. "This is ridiculous," he muttered under his breath.

Ino, finally released from the jutsu, leaned in and gave Naruto a quick kiss on the cheek, smiling mischievously. "Come on, *Naru baby*, let's get going."

Naruto, still unfazed by the affectionate gesture, wiped his cheek and said flatly, "We've wasted enough time here."

As the group finally prepared to depart, the tension between them lingered in the air. They may have been a team, but there were cracks in their unity, and Naruto's behavior was only adding fuel to the fire.

What they didn't know was that their journey back to the Hidden Leaf Village would be far from peaceful. Dark forces were watching from the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

The sky was growing darker as Naruto, Sasuke, Ino, Sakura, Hinata, Shikamaru, and the rest of the team made their way through the dense forest. They had successfully rescued the girl from the destroyed village, but the tension between them was palpable. Despite the apparent safety of their surroundings, everyone felt uneasy. Naruto, in particular, had become even more distant, his cold demeanor chilling everyone around him.

The rescued girl, still shaken, clung tightly to Ino, who offered her what little comfort she could. The memory of the attack on the village weighed heavily on everyone's minds, and the eerie silence of the forest only heightened their anxiety.

Shikamaru, who had been watching Naruto closely, finally broke the silence. "We need to stay alert," he said quietly, his voice low but commanding. "I have a bad feeling about this."

Sasuke, walking slightly ahead, gave a slight nod. His hand rested on the hilt of his sword, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger. "Something's off," he muttered. "It feels like we're being watched."

Naruto remained silent, his eyes focused straight ahead. His mind, however, was racing. The images from his recent dreams were haunting him—dark, twisted visions of a man with a scythe, his smile cruel and malicious. And now, for some reason, Naruto felt that same ominous presence nearby. He clenched his fists, his knuckles white with tension. **I know you're out there,** he thought. **Whoever you are... I'm ready.**

Suddenly, a chilling voice echoed through the forest, stopping the entire team in their tracks.

"Well, well, look who we have here," the voice said, dripping with malice. "The so-called heroes of the Hidden Leaf. How delightful."

The team immediately took defensive stances, their eyes darting around to find the source of the voice. Ino's grip on the girl tightened as she instinctively moved in front of her to shield her from whatever was coming.

Then, from the shadows, a figure emerged. Tall, cloaked in darkness, with a long, wicked-looking scythe slung over his shoulder. His eyes gleamed with sadistic amusement as he looked at each of them, but his gaze lingered on Naruto, a twisted grin forming on his lips.

Naruto's heart skipped a beat as recognition hit him like a ton of bricks. This was the man from his dream—the one who had haunted his nightmares. The man with the scythe.

"You..." Naruto whispered, his voice low but filled with fury.

The man chuckled, spinning his scythe playfully in his hand. "Ah, you recognize me. Good. It'll make this all the more interesting."

Behind him, more figures began to emerge from the shadows—his followers, each one as twisted and dangerous as the leader himself. They were a strange and eerie group, their eyes gleaming with cruelty and malice.

"Who are you?" Sasuke demanded, his Sharingan already activated, his hand tightening around his sword.

The leader grinned even wider. "You can call me... the Reaper," he said, his voice filled with dark amusement. "And these," he gestured to his group of equally twisted allies, "are my Reapers. We're here to make sure that your little mission ends... in blood."

Ino, feeling a chill run down her spine, placed a trembling hand on her chest. "Naruto, this is bad," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "These guys... they're dangerous."

Sakura, standing beside Sasuke, clenched her fists, her face set with determination. "We've faced worse before. We can take them."

The Reaper laughed, his scythe gleaming in the dim light. "Oh, I'm sure you've fought your fair share of battles. But this... this will be different. I promise you that." His gaze shifted to the girl they had rescued, and a cruel smile twisted his lips. "Maybe we'll even have some fun before we kill you all. That girl looks like she could entertain us."

Ino stepped forward, her face pale with anger. "You'll have to go through me first!" she shouted, her voice shaking with both fear and fury.

"Oh, don't worry," one of the Reapers sneered, his eyes lingering on Ino. "We'll get to you too, blondie."

The Reaper raised his scythe, the blade catching the light in a deadly arc. "Enough talk," he said, his voice cold and menacing. "Let's get started."

With a swift motion, the Reaper charged toward Naruto, his scythe slicing through the air with lethal precision. Naruto, still standing frozen, stared at the approaching figure, his mind racing. This was the man from his dream—the one who had promised death and destruction. And now, here he was, standing right in front of him.

Just before the scythe could make contact, Sasuke intervened, drawing his sword and deflecting the blow with a quick and powerful strike. "Snap out of it, Naruto!" Sasuke yelled, his voice sharp. "We don't have time for you to stand there doing nothing!"

Naruto blinked, snapping back to reality just in time to dodge another attack from one of the Reapers. He shook his head, trying to clear his mind. **I have to focus. I can't let this guy get to me.**

The battle erupted in full force as the Reapers descended upon the Konoha team with vicious speed. Sakura immediately engaged one of the enemies, her fists glowing with chakra as she delivered a powerful punch to her opponent's chest. The Reaper staggered back but quickly recovered, laughing as he lunged forward, grabbing her from behind.

Sakura gasped in surprise, struggling to free herself. "Get off me!" she yelled, slamming her elbow into the Reaper's stomach. He released her with a grunt, but his eyes gleamed with dark amusement.

"Feisty," he sneered. "I like that."

On the other side of the battlefield, Sasuke faced off against one of the stronger Reapers, his Sharingan spinning as he analyzed his opponent's movements. The Reaper was fast, matching Sasuke's attacks blow for blow, but Sasuke wasn't about to lose. With a swift motion, he activated his Susanoo, the massive spectral warrior forming around him, and swung his blade with incredible force.

The Reaper barely dodged, but the shockwave from the attack sent him flying back, crashing into a nearby tree. "You're stronger than I expected," the Reaper admitted, wiping blood from his mouth. "But I'm not done yet."

Hinata, meanwhile, activated her Byakugan, her eyes glowing with power as she engaged her opponent. The Reaper she faced smirked at her, his eyes roving over her body with twisted intent. "You're going to be fun," he said, his voice dripping with malice. "Maybe we'll keep you alive for a while, just so we can enjoy ourselves."

Hinata's face hardened, her fists glowing with chakra as she delivered a series of rapid strikes to his chakra points. "I'll never let you lay a hand on me!" she shouted, her voice filled with determination.

Shikamaru, always the strategist, had engaged his Shadow Possession Jutsu, binding several of the Reapers in place. "We need to finish this quickly," he muttered, his mind racing as he tried to come up with a plan. "These guys are stronger than they look."

The girl they had rescued cowered behind a nearby tree, watching the battle with wide, terrified eyes. But the Reaper leader noticed her immediately, his cruel smile widening. "There you are," he whispered, taking a step toward her.

Before he could move any closer, Ino intercepted him, her eyes blazing with fury. "You're not going anywhere near her!" she shouted, launching herself at him with a powerful kick.

The Reaper easily dodged her attack, but Ino wasn't finished. She had been training hard, and with Naruto's guidance, she had learned a new technique. With a flick of her wrist, she activated the Mind-Body Switch Jutsu, her consciousness leaping into the Reaper's mind.

For a brief moment, the Reaper's body froze as Ino tried to control him, but he grinned, his mind stronger than she had expected. "Nice try," he growled, breaking free of her jutsu with ease.

Ino gasped as she was thrown back into her own body, but she quickly recovered, her heart pounding. "That... should've worked," she muttered, but then she smiled. "I guess I just need to train more. Thanks for teaching me, *Naru baby.*"

Across the battlefield, Naruto still hadn't moved. He was watching everything unfold, but his mind was elsewhere—focused entirely on the Reaper leader. The man had locked eyes with Naruto, his scythe gleaming as he approached.

"Come on, Naruto Uzumaki," the Reaper taunted, his voice low and dangerous. "Show me what you've got."

Naruto finally snapped out of his daze, his cold eyes narrowing. "You think you're going

The sky above the battlefield was painted with the deep colors of dusk, casting long shadows across the forest as the Konoha team clashed with the Reapers. The air was thick with the sounds of clashing steel, battle cries, and the heavy breaths of combatants pushing themselves to their limits. But amidst all the chaos, one figure stood still, his eyes locked onto the leader of the Reapers.

Naruto, his heart pounding in his chest, felt the weight of destiny bearing down on him as he faced the man who had haunted his dreams. The Reaper, tall and menacing with his cruel scythe, grinned as he stepped forward, his dark cloak billowing in the wind. His voice was low, filled with malice and excitement.

"So, this is the famous Naruto Uzumaki," the Reaper sneered. "I've heard so much about you. You're the hero of the Hidden Leaf, aren't you? The boy who became a legend. But to me… you're just another obstacle in my way."

Naruto's eyes narrowed as he stood his ground, his fists clenched at his sides. There was something deeply unsettling about the Reaper's presence. It wasn't just his power—it was the aura of darkness that seemed to radiate from him, a chilling coldness that seeped into the very air around him.

"I've seen you before," Naruto said, his voice steady but low. "In my dreams. You're the one who's been haunting me."

The Reaper's grin widened, his scythe gleaming in the fading light. "Ah, so you've had a taste of what's to come, then. I like that. It makes things more interesting. But let me show you something... more real."

Without warning, the Reaper lunged forward, his scythe cutting through the air with deadly precision. Naruto barely had time to react, throwing himself to the side just as the blade sliced through the space where he had been standing. The force of the attack sent shockwaves rippling through the ground, uprooting trees and scattering debris.

Naruto landed on his feet, his heart racing. He hadn't expected the Reaper to move so quickly, but he wasn't going to let that shake him. "You're fast," Naruto muttered, wiping the dirt from his face. "But I've faced worse."

The Reaper laughed, the sound echoing through the trees like the howl of a distant storm. "Oh, you have no idea, boy."

The two locked eyes for a brief moment before the battle erupted in full force. The Reaper swung his scythe again, each strike faster and more powerful than the last. Naruto dodged and weaved, his body moving with the agility of a seasoned warrior, but the Reaper's attacks were relentless, and it wasn't long before Naruto found himself on the defensive.

With a swift motion, the Reaper's scythe came crashing down, and though Naruto managed to block it with a kunai, the sheer force of the impact sent him flying backward. He crashed into a tree, the breath knocked from his lungs as pain shot through his body.

Before he could recover, the Reaper was on him again, the blade of his scythe aimed directly at Naruto's head. Naruto barely managed to roll out of the way, the sharp edge of the scythe grazing his shoulder and drawing blood.

The world seemed to slow as Naruto glanced down at his arm, watching as the crimson blood began to drip down, staining his sleeve. The pain was sharp, but it was nothing compared to the fire that ignited within him—the fire of determination, the fire of rage.

The Reaper smirked, lowering his scythe for a moment as he watched Naruto struggle to regain his footing. "Look at you," he taunted. "The hero of the Hidden Leaf, bleeding and broken. You're not so legendary after all, are you?"

Naruto wiped the blood from his face, his eyes narrowing as he stood up straight. "You talk too much," he growled, his voice filled with anger.

The Reaper's grin only widened. "Do I now? Well, let's see how much you like it when I—"

Before the Reaper could finish his sentence, Naruto's body erupted in a burst of raw power. Chakra surged around him, the familiar golden glow of the Nine-Tails' energy enveloping him as his eyes turned to slits, filled with a newfound intensity.

The Reaper's smirk faltered, if only for a second, as he felt the sheer weight of Naruto's power wash over him. But then his grin returned, more excited than ever.

"Ahh… finally!" the Reaper cried, his voice filled with dark glee. "Now we're talking!"

Naruto didn't waste any more time with words. In an instant, he was in front of the Reaper, moving faster than the eye could follow. He slammed his fist into the Reaper's chest with enough force to shatter the ground beneath them. The Reaper gasped, his eyes widening in shock as the air was knocked from his lungs.

But he wasn't finished. With a twisted grin, the Reaper grabbed hold of Naruto's arm, using his momentum to swing him around and throw him across the battlefield. Naruto crashed into the ground with a thunderous impact, the earth shaking from the force.

But he didn't stay down for long. In a blur of motion, Naruto was back on his feet, charging at the Reaper with deadly precision. His fists glowed with chakra as he unleashed a barrage of attacks, each one aimed at vital points on the Reaper's body.

The Reaper blocked and dodged as best he could, but Naruto's speed and power were overwhelming. Blow after blow connected, sending shockwaves through the air and shaking the trees around them.

Blood began to drip from the Reaper's mouth as Naruto's attacks took their toll. But instead of retreating, the Reaper only laughed, his voice filled with twisted joy.

"More!" he shouted, his eyes wild with excitement. "Give me more!"

Naruto's eyes narrowed as he summoned even more chakra, his entire body glowing with the raw power of the Nine-Tails. With a roar, he unleashed a massive Rasengan, the swirling ball of chakra growing larger and larger until it was nearly twice the size of Naruto himself.

The Reaper's eyes widened as the massive attack hurtled toward him, but instead of fleeing, he raised his scythe, meeting the attack head-on. The force of the collision sent shockwaves rippling through the battlefield, uprooting trees and scattering debris in every direction.

For a moment, it seemed as though the two forces were evenly matched. But then, with a final surge of power, Naruto's Rasengan broke through the Reaper's defenses, slamming into his chest with a deafening explosion.

The Reaper was sent flying across the battlefield, crashing into the ground with enough force to leave a crater in his wake. For a moment, there was silence, the only sound the faint crackle of energy still lingering in the air.

Naruto stood there, breathing heavily, his body glowing with the fading light of his chakra. He wiped the blood from his face, his eyes locked on the Reaper's motionless form.

But then, to Naruto's shock, the Reaper began to laugh. It was a weak, ragged sound, but it was filled with twisted amusement.

"You... you're... fun," the Reaper gasped, blood dripping from his mouth as he slowly pushed himself to his feet. "It's been so long... since I've bled."

Naruto's eyes narrowed as the Reaper raised his head, his twisted grin still plastered across his face. "You're strong, Naruto Uzumaki. Stronger than I expected. But this... this is far from over."

Before Naruto could react, the Reaper vanished in a blur of motion, reappearing behind him with his scythe raised high. Naruto spun around just in time to block the attack with his kunai, but the force of the blow sent him stumbling backward.

The Reaper didn't let up, his attacks coming faster and more brutal with every strike. Naruto was forced on the defensive, dodging and parrying as best he could, but the Reaper's speed and power were overwhelming.

Finally, with a swift motion, the Reaper's scythe sliced through Naruto's defenses, the blade cutting deep into his shoulder. Naruto gasped in pain as blood splattered across the ground, his vision blurring from the shock.

But the Reaper wasn't finished. With a twisted grin, he grabbed hold of Naruto's arm, pulling him close.

"I'm going to enjoy this," the Reaper whispered, his voice dripping with malice.

But before he could strike the final blow, Naruto's eyes flashed with a dangerous light. With a roar, he unleashed a massive burst of chakra, the raw energy blasting the Reaper backward and sending him crashing into a nearby tree.

Naruto staggered back, his hand clutching his bleeding shoulder as he glared at the Reaper. "I'm not... done yet," he growled, his voice filled with determination.

The Reaper wiped the blood from his mouth, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Good," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "Because neither am I."

As the two warriors prepared for the next round of their battle, Ino watched from a distance, her heart pounding in her chest. She had never seen Naruto fight like this before—so fierce, so unrelenting. But there

was something else, something dark in his eyes that she hadn't seen before.

"Naruto," she whispered, her voice trembling. "Be careful."

The battle was far from over, and both Naruto and the Reaper knew it. The question was: who would emerge victorious?

The battlefield was a shattered ruin of earth and debris. The Reaper, standing tall, his scythe glowing with unimaginable dark energy, prepared for what seemed like his final, ultimate attack. The entire team felt the sheer weight of his power radiating outwards, shaking the ground and filling the air with malevolence. His sinister grin widened as he raised his weapon high above his head, the blade charged with enough force to end everything.

Naruto stood firm, his eyes locked onto the Reaper. His breathing was heavy, his body battered from the relentless assaults. Blood trickled from a wound on his forehead, turning his once-bright blond hair red. The weight of the situation pressed on his chest, and for a moment, the memory of his dream came flooding back. **This is exactly how I died in my dream. This is how it ends.**

But Naruto wasn't the same person he was in that nightmare.

As the Reaper's scythe began its descent, aiming to cleave Naruto in two, Ino screamed from a distance, her voice filled with desperation. "Naruto! Look out!"

However, Naruto had already prepared for this. His two years of intense training were about to pay off. With a swift series of hand seals and a surge of chakra, the battlefield suddenly lit up with golden light. Glowing chains burst from Naruto's body, spiraling through the air with incredible speed.

These weren't ordinary chains. They were the **Adamantine Sealing Chains**—an ancient Uzumaki technique known only to the clan's strongest members. His mother, Kushina, had left him the knowledge, hidden deep within the Uzumaki inheritance, and Naruto had spent years mastering them.

The chains shot forward, intercepting the Reaper's scythe just as it was about to strike Naruto. They coiled around the scythe, crackling with energy, and in an instant, they wrapped around the Reaper himself, binding him in place.

The Reaper's eyes widened in shock. He hadn't anticipated this. "What... what is this?!" he roared, struggling against the chains. "This power..."

Naruto wiped the blood from his face, his eyes narrowing as he stepped forward, the golden chains glowing brighter. "These are the chains of the Uzumaki Clan," Naruto said, his voice steady. "You're not getting out of this."

Sasuke, watching from a distance, couldn't hide his surprise. His Sharingan gleamed as he observed the powerful technique. "So... that's what he's been hiding," Sasuke muttered. He had heard legends about the Uzumaki's sealing techniques, but seeing them in action was another thing entirely.

Shikamaru, equally shocked, nodded in agreement. "Naruto always has something up his sleeve," he said, his voice filled with admiration. "He's pulling out all the stops."

Ino, watching Naruto hold his ground, felt a swell of pride. Her heart raced as she realized just how far Naruto had come. "That's right, Naru baby," she whispered to herself. "Show him what you've got."

But the Reaper wasn't finished yet. He let out a low, guttural growl as his muscles tensed, and the chains around him rattled. His followers, watching from the shadows, exchanged worried glances. "He's going to do it," one of them muttered, his voice filled with fear.

Naruto's eyes narrowed as he sensed something shift in the Reaper's energy. The ground beneath them began to shake violently, and the chains, though strong, started to tremble under the immense pressure. The Reaper's power was growing, expanding beyond anything Naruto had anticipated.

"You think these chains can hold me?" the Reaper snarled, his voice dripping with rage. "I am beyond your understanding, boy!"

With a roar of defiance, the Reaper unleashed a surge of dark energy, his body glowing with a sinister aura. The chains began to crack, and Naruto's eyes widened in surprise as the Reaper started to break free. Despite Naruto's best efforts, the Reaper's sheer force of will was overpowering the Uzumaki sealing technique.

The Reaper let out a wild laugh as he shattered the chains, sending them flying in all directions. "You thought you could stop me with that?!" he taunted. "Now, I'll show you true power!"

Naruto gritted his teeth, sweat dripping down his face. **I didn't expect him to be this strong.** He glanced over at Sasuke and the others, knowing they were all counting on him. He couldn't fail now.

Before Naruto could react, the Reaper lunged at him with blinding speed, his scythe aimed directly at Naruto's chest. But in that split second, Naruto's body instinctively moved, dodging the fatal strike just in time. He didn't have a moment to rest, though—the Reaper swung his weapon again, faster and more viciously than before.

This time, the scythe connected.

A sharp pain shot through Naruto's body as the blade cut deep into his side. Blood spurted from the wound, staining the ground beneath him. Naruto gasped, his vision blurring as he stumbled back, barely able to stay on his feet.

The Reaper grinned, his eyes gleaming with victory. "It's over, Naruto Uzumaki."

But Naruto, despite the pain coursing through his body, wasn't finished yet. Gritting his teeth, he channeled the last of his chakra into a powerful counterattack. With a fierce roar, he formed a **Rasengan**, the massive ball of swirling energy glowing in his hand.

Before the Reaper could react, Naruto launched the Rasengan at him with all his might. The attack struck the Reaper square in the chest, sending him flying backward with a thunderous impact. The ground shook as the Reaper was hurled across the battlefield, crashing into the earth with enough force to create a crater.

For a moment, everything was still.

Naruto, panting heavily, collapsed to one knee, his body trembling from exhaustion. He had given it everything he had, but the fight had taken its toll. Blood continued to drip from his wounds, staining his clothes and the ground beneath him.

The Reaper, lying in the crater, slowly pushed himself up, coughing up blood as he rose to his feet. His body was battered and broken, but his eyes were filled with a wild, almost insane light.

"You... you're strong," the Reaper rasped, wiping blood from his mouth. "But this... this isn't over."

Before Naruto could respond, the Reaper raised his scythe once more, the blade glowing with dark, ominous energy. But this time, there was something different about his power. The air around them grew colder, and the ground beneath them began to tremble violently.

Naruto's eyes widened as he realized what was happening. **This is it. This is what I saw in my dream.**

The Reaper let out a maniacal laugh as he prepared to unleash his final, devastating attack. "I'm going to end you once and for all!" he roared, his voice echoing through the battlefield.

But Naruto wasn't going to let that happen. With the last of his strength, he activated the **Adamantine Sealing Chains** once again, hoping to bind the Reaper before he could strike.

The chains shot forward, wrapping around the Reaper's arms and legs, pulling him back. But this time, the Reaper's power was too great. The chains began to crack and shatter under the immense pressure.

Naruto gritted his teeth, trying to hold on, but the Reaper's strength was overwhelming. In one final, desperate move, the Reaper broke free from the chains and swung his scythe toward Naruto.

At that moment, time seemed to slow. Naruto, exhausted and barely able to stand, couldn't avoid the attack. The scythe struck him with full force, sending a shockwave of energy through his body.

Ino, watching from a distance, screamed in horror. "Naruto!"

But before the Reaper could finish him off, something extraordinary happened. Naruto's body began to glow with a strange light, and the air around him seemed to warp and distort.

The Reaper, stunned, stepped back, his eyes wide with disbelief. "What... what is this?!"

Naruto's body shimmered for a moment before it began to shrink. The scythe fell from the Reaper's hands as he watched in shock. Within seconds, Naruto had transformed—not into the powerful warrior he once was, but into a small child, no older than five years old.

The battlefield fell silent as everyone stared in disbelief.

Ino, tears streaming down her face, rushed forward, kneeling beside the small boy who now lay where Naruto once stood. The boy had the same bright blond hair and blue eyes, but his face was that of a child—innocent and wide-eyed.

"Naruto..." Ino whispered, her voice trembling. She reached out, gently touching the boy's cheek. "What... what happened to you?"

The child looked up at her, confused and scared. His eyes filled with tears as he reached out, wrapping his small arms around her leg. "Mommy," he whispered, his voice soft and trembling. "Mommy, I'm scared."

Ino's eyes widened

in shock, her heart skipping a beat. "M-Mommy?" she stammered, her voice barely audible.

Sasuke, Shikamaru, Sakura, and the others gathered around, their faces filled with confusion and disbelief. None of them could comprehend what had just happened.

"What... what is this?" Sasuke muttered, his Sharingan still active, scanning the area for any signs of a genjutsu or illusion.

But there was nothing.

The Reaper, still standing a few feet away, began to laugh—a low, sinister chuckle that grew louder and more manic with each passing second. "You... you thought you could defeat me?!" he cackled. "This... this is what you deserve, Naruto Uzumaki!"

Ino, holding the small child in her arms, looked up at the Reaper, her eyes filled with rage. "What have you done to him?!"

The Reaper's laughter echoed through the battlefield as he disappeared into the shadows, his voice fading into the distance. "This is only the beginning..."

As the Reaper's presence vanished, the team was left in stunned silence, staring down at the child who had once been their friend and comrade. Naruto, now trapped in the body of a five-year-old, clung to Ino, tears streaming down his face.

Ino held him close, her heart breaking as she whispered, "Don't worry, Naruto. We'll find a way to fix this. I promise."

But deep down, everyone knew that nothing would ever be the same again.

The forest had grown eerily quiet after the intense battle, the air still heavy with the lingering energy from Naruto's and the Reaper's clash. As the dust settled, the scene that unfolded left everyone in stunned silence. Naruto had been reduced to a child—a small, wide-eyed version of himself, no older than five years old. His once strong and commanding presence had been replaced by the innocence of a boy with no memory of who he had been.

Ino, still cradling the young Naruto in her arms, felt a wave of mixed emotions wash over her. She couldn't help but notice how different he looked—his small face, bright blue eyes, and the sense of vulnerability in his voice. It wasn't the same Naruto who had faced countless enemies with unwavering courage. Now, he was a frightened child, clinging to her for safety.

"Mommy, please don't leave me," Naruto whispered, his voice shaky, as he buried his face in Ino's chest. His small hands gripped her clothing, trembling as if the world around him was too big and too scary.

Ino's face flushed a deep red, both from embarrassment and the unexpected warmth that came from holding him close. She could feel his small, fragile body against her, and a protective instinct kicked in. She tightened her hold on him, her voice soft but comforting. "I'll never leave you, Naru baby," she whispered, brushing a hand through his blond hair. "You're safe with me."

Naruto, his face pressed against her chest, mumbled, "I love you, Mommy."

Ino's cheeks burned even brighter, and her heart fluttered as she whispered back, "I love you too, Naru baby." She wasn't sure how to handle this new version of Naruto, but she knew one thing: she would protect him, no matter what.

Sakura, standing nearby, crossed her arms and looked at the scene with a mixture of disbelief and frustration. "Ino, you don't have the right to just carry him like that," she said, her voice tinged with jealousy. "I should be the one to look after him. Besides, I'm the medical ninja here. I should check if he's okay."

Naruto, sensing the tension, peeked out from Ino's arms and looked at Sakura with wide, innocent eyes. "I'm scared of that mean girl," he whispered to Ino, clinging to her even tighter. "Please don't let her near me."

Sakura's eyes widened in surprise, a mixture of hurt and embarrassment crossing her face. "W-what? Mean girl?" she stammered, her cheeks turning red.

Ino bit her lip to stop herself from laughing but couldn't hide the smirk tugging at the corners of her mouth. "Don't worry, Naru baby," she said, hugging him a little tighter. "I won't let the scary girl come near you."

Sasuke, who had been watching silently from a distance, narrowed his eyes in confusion. He stepped closer, his voice calm but concerned. "Naruto," he said, trying to reach out, "what happened to you?"

Naruto looked up at Sasuke, tilting his head slightly in confusion. "What do you mean, duck-butt head?" he asked innocently, blinking up at him.

Sasuke's eyes widened in shock. "Duck-butt head?" he repeated, his normally composed face showing clear signs of disbelief. He opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out.

Shikamaru, who had been observing the whole situation with his usual calm demeanor, couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "This is... troublesome," he muttered under his breath, scratching the back of his neck. "Naruto's completely reverted to a child. This isn't just physical—his mind's been affected too."

Hinata, who had been standing a little further back, finally gathered the courage to step forward. Her eyes were wide with concern, and her heart ached at the sight of the small, vulnerable Naruto. "N-Naruto-kun," she said softly, her voice trembling slightly, "are you okay?"

Naruto, still nestled in Ino's arms, looked over at Hinata and tilted his head again. "Who's that?" he asked, blinking up at Ino with curiosity. "Is she the blind girl? How can she see us if she's blind?"

Hinata's face flushed bright red, and she looked down, flustered. "B-blind? No, Naruto-kun, I'm not..."

Ino giggled, unable to resist teasing. "No, sweetie, she's not blind. She uses something called the Byakugan. It helps her see really far and through things."

Naruto's eyes lit up in wonder. "Wow, so she can see through walls? That's cool! But..." he looked back at Hinata, "if she can see through stuff, that still makes her kind of blind, right?"

Hinata, still red-faced, stammered, "N-No, it's... not exactly like that, Naruto-kun."

Despite the tension, Shikamaru chuckled softly at the interaction. "Even as a kid, Naruto's got a way with words," he muttered.

But the situation quickly grew more serious. Shikamaru stepped forward, crossing his arms as he addressed the group. "We don't have time to sit here and chat. We need to figure out how to reverse whatever happened to Naruto, but first, we need to get back to the village. The Reaper's attack was just the beginning. We don't know what else might be waiting for us out here."

Ino, still holding Naruto close, shot Shikamaru a glare. "And how exactly are we supposed to just walk back to the village with him like this? He's a little kid now. He can't fight, and he's scared."

Shikamaru sighed. "That's why we need to be more cautious. We can't afford any more risks."

Naruto, who had been listening quietly, looked up at Ino and whispered, "I don't want to go back to the scary people. Please don't make me go."

Ino's heart melted at his words, and she tightened her hold on him protectively. "Don't worry, Naru baby," she whispered. "I won't let anything bad happen to you."

Sakura, still feeling a little left out, stepped closer. "We'll all protect you, Naruto. You don't have to be scared."

But Naruto just clung to Ino, his eyes wide and fearful. "I don't like her, Mommy," he whispered to Ino, his voice barely audible. "She's scary."

Sakura winced at the words, her face flushing with embarrassment. "Naruto, I'm not—"

Before she could finish, Sasuke stepped forward again, his expression unreadable. "Let's go," he said firmly. "We'll figure out what happened to him back at the village. Right now, we need to focus on getting home safely."

Hinata, standing nearby, nodded in agreement. "Sasuke-kun is right," she said softly. "We'll be able to help Naruto better once we're back in the village."

With a nod of agreement, the group began to prepare for the journey back to the Hidden Leaf. Shikamaru took the lead, his sharp mind already analyzing possible threats and escape routes as they made their way through the forest.

As they moved, Naruto stayed nestled in Ino's arms, his small body trembling slightly with each step. Every now and then, he would glance up at her with wide, innocent eyes, his voice soft and filled with uncertainty. "Will you really stay with me, Mommy?"

Ino, her heart aching with tenderness, brushed a hand through his soft blond hair. "I'll always stay with you, Naruto," she whispered, her voice full of emotion. "No matter what."

As they made their way through the forest, the air around them grew colder, and a sense of unease began to settle over the group. The remnants of the battle with the Reaper lingered in the atmosphere, and even though the immediate danger seemed to have passed, no one could shake the feeling that something darker was still lurking in the shadows.

Naruto, oblivious to the tension, had fallen asleep in Ino's arms, his small body curled up against her chest. His face was peaceful, his breaths slow and steady, as if the weight of the world no longer rested on his tiny shoulders.

Ino looked down at him, her heart swelling with a mixture of protectiveness and affection. She had never imagined seeing Naruto like this—so small, so vulnerable. The bond she felt with him now was different from anything she had experienced before, and she couldn't help but feel a deep responsibility for his safety.

Sakura, walking beside her, glanced over and sighed softly. "It's strange, isn't it? Seeing him like this."

Ino nodded, her eyes never leaving Naruto's peaceful face. "Yeah," she whispered. "I never thought I'd see him like this. But..." She hesitated for a moment before continuing. "It kind of makes me want to protect him even more."

Sakura smiled gently. "I know what you mean. It's hard to believe that's the same Naruto we

've fought beside all these years."

Hinata, walking slightly behind them, couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness as she looked at the small figure in Ino's arms. She had always admired Naruto's strength, his determination, and his unshakable spirit. But now, seeing him reduced to a child, her heart ached for him in a way she hadn't expected.

"I just hope we can find a way to help him," Hinata murmured, her voice soft.

Sasuke, leading the way with Shikamaru, glanced back at the group. His eyes lingered on Naruto for a moment before he turned his gaze back to the path ahead. "We will," he said quietly, his voice filled with resolve. "We have to."
