Panda Pov:

"How do I explain myself in a short statement? My life is badass and I don't care how dangerous it is or whoever thinks it's too much for a girl like me. It started long back when I learned about my daddy being a professional killer, though lately there's this term going around called 'Slayer'. I prefer it a lot more since 'killer' is an ugly word and there's an opportunity to get my reputation known to others who think they're tougher than me. Luckily, this is the town where a lot of action has been happening. Along with a bounty that got placed on his head a week ago back in Terminus by someone wearing chef clothes. Doesn't matter, he showed us a huge bag of money to handle the job. It's sad really, there aren't that many guys I know who could swing me around and try to hit on me with a cheesy compliment. An added bonus? He's not afraid to get his hands dirty and take out creeps who deserve it. Makes me want to let him go and live his life here, almost."

Morning-Seabrook High School

The fall had arrived at Seabrook along with the eerie feeling of Halloween coming up in the next couple of weeks which had already gotten people excited since the recent arrival of new visitors coming to town. The school itself was getting into the spirit with everyone putting up frightening decorations to that of preparing for an upcoming party that was being held at Zombie Town. Right now at the lockers was Revenant who was checking out his bag and homework that he needed to bring into class since there were several assignments he needed to finish before making it to class. Just as he was about to leave for class, he closed his locker to see an upset Wynter staring at him with her arms crossed at him.

"Hi, Wynter. Is everything alright?"

He asked her why she seemed upset since her eyes glared at him with the attention to biting him like she usually does whenever she feels angry. Taking a moment to pull out her phone to show a recording of him assisting Panda against the Snapper gang. It took Rev a minute to see that this could get the impression that he would take an interest in her.

"While I'm sure this was an effort to help her out with getting on the team. I don't want her to be near you."

Wynter responded to how there was another strong and unpredictable girl to come into town and get their attention. She considered Cassie Hack a potential rival toward Revenant and since she was similar to her pack leader, headstrong, and scary when it came to getting what she wanted. Her boyfriend was a sign of jealousy as well as making sure that he wasn't anywhere near Cassie or the new girl at Seabrook High.

"Babe? I promise you. What I did with Panda was nothing more than getting her on the cheerleading team, plus getting those snappers away from the others. I barely know her."

Revenant explained to his wolf girlfriend about not being interested in knowing Panda since she'd be Addison's concern along with Bucky since she'd spend time around them. Wynter crossed her arms at the idea and turned away from Rev since she still didn't like the idea of Panda messing around with the zombie that saved her life as well as her pack. Noticing how upset she was acting and growling quietly to herself, the zombie hugged her to calm Wynter before she went off chasing the new cheerleader out of the school.

"You're right. Maybe I'm acting up because I see Cassie hang around you more often, I mean it's awesome there's another girl in Seabrook who can get her hands dirty and rough people up. Also making Bucky scream whenever he tries to offer her a new change in clothing, plus reading her blogs about those slayers that she took down."

She went on to talk about how unique Cassie Hack was since the girl wasn't like anyone in Seabrook which made her interesting. From how Wynter was talking about her, Revenant could tell that she might be interested in the new arrival. Noticing the look that her boyfriend was giving her, the werewolf shrugged it off before hearing some people coming over to visit them. It was Zed, A-Spen, Addison, and Brit who were carrying boxes filled with decorations to use for the school.

"Good, You two are still here, apparently, our science class got canceled after Jelly drank all the new chemicals that were brought in. The side effects are rather, confusing."

Brit told the two as they looked over toward the other side of the hallway to see Jelly sliding across the floor in a square shape. The wandering mass noticed them before blowing out a set of rainbow bubbles and changing its shape into a triangle. Jelly continued to slide across the hallway leaving Revenant and Wynter confused at what they had just seen in front of them.

"Aerial has been tasked with assisting the professor in studying Jelly's new form and behavior. We've been given the task of 'spookifying' the remaining part of the school. Though I think it is better if we use holographic projections to make it terrifying, such as one of the creatures my people came to contact during our travels in space."

The alien leader offered an idea as A-Spen pulled out a device from their pocket which showed a projection of a small and innocent-looking pony. Everyone fawned over the enchanted animal before the unicorn changed its face into a nightmarish figure that scared everyone to the point they dropped the decorations and broke their belongings before the projection vanished.

"Never show my sister that, ever. I mean it."

Zed told A-Spen about the horrific idea of a unicorn being terrifying and carrying people which Revenant agreed with, along with how he was informed on his first day of being Nightwing's student that unicorns are dangerous and aren't that friendly. The alien leader didn't understand the concern toward their explanation and accepted not showing it to Zoey, with that said Revenant and Wynter picked up the boxes off the ground and helped the gang with setting up the parts of Seabrook High.

"So. Just to help make the progress of making Seabrook scary, which I seriously think it doesn't need with the stuff that happens here. How's Panda doing on the Mighty Shrimp?"

Rev asked about the new girl's position on Addison's team since it is worthwhile to hear about the sudden addition to her team. The cheer captain smiled at the question along took a couple of minutes to think of a response to that question since she'd never met a girl like Panda before.

"She's great! Well-fit and able to do the best flips, but Panda is a bit. Gifted than most of us."

Addison uncomfortably explained the last part about Panda since it involved her being more developed than most of the girls on the team. The boys took a moment to understand it and made them realize what Addison meant, it left Brit to slap them behind the head for thinking about that. Walking over to the gymnasium that required Halloween decorations, the six split up into pairs so they could begin giving the place a frightening touch-up.

"Not trying to be paranoid but, do you think she might have a history like Cassie does? But instead of surviving psychopaths, she had a difficult childhood?"

Zed asked Revenant if the people back at Sentinel had a chance to look into the girl's background to see if she was normal because a girl taking on a football team by herself without help is extraordinary or supernatural. Revenant gave Zed a glare about prying into her fly to see if she might have a background that made her into the powerhouse they saw her back at the cheer tryouts. The gang continued to work on the decorations as they noticed Shrimpy walking in with Bucky along his friends to check on the preparation of making the gym scary.

"You know what could be scarier than bats and skeletons Addison? Me, with these custom-made frames of myself as famous monsters. Which are nothing to the real thing."

He proclaimed himself as being scary as his group brought in cardboard cut-outs of himself in different costumes as well as making scary faces. Revenant wanted to call out on that being wrong of him doing that since there were several monsters locked up at the Big House who would get upset if Bucky was pretending to be them. Addison thought it was right and attempted to help him by placing them in certain areas where no one would notice them.

"Just what we needed. A Bucky haunted gymnasium."

Brit called out as she continued to help out her friends with the decorations, she didn't notice Shrimpy who was disguised as Nightwing who was waving toward Revenant since he needed to speak with him in private. Noticing his amulet faintly glowing at a supernatural incident happening, the boy sighed at him being needed as he handed the decorations to Zed as he went to check up on the school's mascot. Following the walking shrimp outside of the gym and down the hallway, Rev was soon greeted by Cassie and Vlad who were waiting for Seabrook's protector to meet them near the lockers.

"Hello Rev, your school has many types of yogurts."

Vlad greeted the zombie and complimented the school's variety of Froyo since he had become a fan of the frozen treat. Cassie rolled her eyes about the pleasant comment and handed Rev a set of photos she'd taken of Panda who was exploring around Seabrook and taking in the sights.

"Getting to the point, Vlad and I were scooping out the town to try and find a clown slayer that had been reported to be coming here. Though that's the case since you met freaking Panda of all people."

Cassie informed the zombie in an annoyed tone which caught him off guard of the girl having a history with the new cheerleader of Addison's team. Confused at why the girl had an issue with Panda, she showed him her phone with incident reports about a father and daughter duo causing trouble in Georgia to other towns they'd passed by in the last several weeks. Including something that would get his attention, a pair of wanted posters with Panda giving the cameraman the finger and smiling at the bruises she had on herself. The other one was of a muscular man with a mustache with a torn-up mask that had similarities to a clown's face.

"Mack Delgado, alias Clown Face. He's a human but considerably strong, he's survived numerous attacks on his life by being involved in numerous bounties. Including his daughter, who started her career at fourteen."

Nightwing informed Revenant about how Panda was able to handle herself against a group of football players, her father was a trained killer with a long list of confirmed hits. It left the zombie to get angry at how he didn't question how Panda was good during tryouts, or possibly that there were two killers in Seabrook with no one noticing them. Preparing to tell Zed and Addison about this and turn them to the police, Vlad grabbed him by the collar and pulled Rev by the side as he saw coming around from the corner was Panda. Needing to keep out of sight and not let her know about them being here, the zombie leaned against the wall while Nightwing posed as Shrimpy by dancing to keep up with his identity as the school's mascot.

"Just the zombie I'm looking for. I wanted to tell you that yesterday I might have been fickled at you for helping me out with those idiots. Despite my petite appearance, I'm more tougher than how I look. My dad taught me a few things when I moved with him."

She apologized in a way of complimenting Rev's help in fighting the Snappers along with bringing up a tough topic about not having a mother and only her father. He felt sorry for Panda living with someone who made a living of taking lives for money, the looks of the photo that Cassie showed him on the other hand made it clear that Panda didn't mind getting into trouble.

"And that. I thought you could tell me more about these 'incidents' that you've been involved in. Including fighting a giant rock man and a water snake, care to tell me a story or two?"

Requesting to hear one of the famous feats that Revenant had accomplished due to the reputation since his stay here at Seabrook. While it was likely that there was more to this invite than just someone wanting to hear stories, the boy reluctantly nodded to Panda while talking amongst one another which left the girl to smile in excitement before hugging him. After getting a text from her father and heading out to see him, Cassie and Vlad were able to come out from around the corner to see the new cheerleader heading out of the door.

"Question. How do you know this girl?"

Revenant asked Cassie about their history which left the raven-haired girl not saying a word since their encounter wasn't a memory the slayer hunter wanted to relieve. With that being said and seeing their friends stepping out of the gymnasium, they saw the four talking amongst themselves as well as Wynter getting an unusual scent coming off from Revenant.

"Why am I getting a feeling about something important your hiding my back?"

Brit questioned Shrimpy and the Slayer hunters while Wynter rushed toward her zombie boyfriend to sniff out the peculiar scent that was on him. Zed and Addison looked at their friend to see if it was the truth since they would be the ones to get into trouble most of the time, Revenant didn't know how to respond but would have to tell them that the new girl at school was a trained killer. Another problem that could happen would be if there was a shootout between him and the duo, the best thing the Z-Gang could do was warn the local authorities as quietly as possible before the two hear about there arrival here, the only question is where Panda would want to meet Rev.

Later-Shopping District

Several hours came after school as Revenant got a text from Panda to meet her at the new stores that opened up several weeks ago. It was a diner that had new food everyone had everyone talking about, a perfect spot to hear about the misadventures that the zombie and his friends had been on. Walking over to the establishment wearing his standard clothing he wears whenever he gets into a fight, a good choice for him to wear since he had a feeling of walking into a trap. Continuing his walk and was about to head inside, he heard a rustle coming from the alleyway which made the zombie sigh at the stereotypical scenario of getting ambushed in a shady location.

"Alright. Let's get this over with."

Muttering to himself as the zombie made his way into the alley, he kept his guard up and watched the corners to see if any traps were waiting for him. Revenant continued his walk until he accidentally stepped on a tripwire that triggered the zombie to be dragged upwards and thrown onto a rooftop. Shaking from hitting his head on the roof and not noticing a set of wires going over his body to constrict him from getting up, he looked over him to see a large man in a black short-sleeve shirt and wearing a yellow clown face mask that was the same from Cassie's photos.

"Revenant. Self-proclaimed 'Protector of Seabrook', the zombie that faced the nightmares of humanity. The names that people will give anyone these days are idiotic, who do you think you are? A superhero?"

Clown Face questioned the titles that everyone had given him for his service to Seabrook and for risking his new life for the people who lived here. The zombie said nothing but gave him a silent treatment since he didn't talk to killers who hunted people for money, Clown Face pulled out a large knife that seemed similar to the ones that Vlad uses and pointed it at Rev's throat.

"I'm no hero. Just a zombie that doesn't like humans and makes a living of killing people for money. Let alone bring their daughter into it."

He responded showing no fear toward the large man and bringing up Panda if it would get him off his game and hesitate. The masked man could see it in his eyes the sight of not being afraid of dying, more or less afraid of having his life taken away with one stroke of the blade. They stared at each other in silence before hearing a bubblegum popping from behind them, it showed Panda in a black long-sleeved shirt and mini skirt who was armed with two firearms on her waist and looked annoyed at her father scaring the zombie.

"Daddy. I told you that he wouldn't put up a fight, more or less with myself swaying my looks around. I had him."

Panda complained to her father about capturing the zombie and was about to cut his head off, Clown Face ignored the response due to the boy's reputation for fighting things bigger and scarier than her. Revenant kept quiet as he saw their bickering from the father telling her that he'd handle the situation while she'd be on the lookout. Continuing their argument about how they had their unique method of handling the zombie, Revenant coughed loudly at the pair so he could get their attention back on him since he was their target.

"While I would help this relationship between you two since there's a lot of therapy you apparently need. I want to answer the man's question about me getting those 'titles' he brought up. I didn't get them by myself, I had help."

The boy said with a smirk as it gave him enough time to distract them so they didn't hear the sound of a growl coming from behind Panda, she and Clown Face turned over to see Cassie and Vlad armed with their weapons to that of getting back up from Night Wing and Wynter. Having an opening to turn down his Z-Band limiter, he was able to break free which startled the pair and aimed their weapons at the four leaving Revenant enough time to change his settings back on his Z-Band and bring out his revolver. The seven were at a standstill in which of them would start a roof fight with people hearing the commotion and calling the authorities.

"Your scent is on him. He's my mate."

Wynter told Panda with a growl as well as her eyes glowing yellow to show a hostile intent in taking the girl out which left the human to laugh at the response of the werewolf dating the zombie. Looking over at Revenant to see that there was a reason someone would want to date him, including how fit he looked despite being a zombie.

"Really? I meant the scent thing, I thought that was for animals. Maybe this means I can be his so-called 'mate'. After I handle you of course along with the depressed punk girl. Hi, Cassie."

Panda told Wynter in an attempt to catch her off guard about messing with her boyfriend and waving at Cassie as if they were best friends. Cassie said nothing as they were all waiting for the right moment to start a fight since there wasn't any way of handling this matter with words, only with who could survive the amount of bruises they got from each other. Before anyone could do anything, a phone was going off which interrupted the subtle moment and made the seven confused as to whom it may be coming from. It came from Wynted as she felt embarrassed by it and wanted to know if it would be possible for her to answer it, Clown Face sighed at the wolf girl as he allowed it since he couldn't keep his blades pointed at Vlad and Night Wing.

"While my werewolf is answering the call, we could handle this like business people. Maybe figure out how much is on my head for you and Panda to come here and start trouble. Find a way to resolve this without getting mangled and losing an arm."

Revenant suggested to Panda's father who'd be interested in talking money since there was always a price when it came to men like him. Looking over at Wynter to see her cautiously walking over to Night Wing so he could talk on the phone, the man decided to take the boy on the offer and slowly put his knives away much like Vlad did as Panda was confused by her father in not wanting to start attacking their targets.

"I guess you're out of a job Mr. Delgado. Some people are here for our friend's head and they are at Tiki-Z's with Zed and Addison giving them a Seabrook welcome."

He told everyone about the possibility of more people like Clown Face and Panda trying to hunt down Revenant with the reputation he had built. The zombie didn't know how to react to his friends being caught in the middle of this since they didn't know what they might be meeting. Holstering his revolver and knowing it was going be a long night, they would have to put their standoff on hold until they greeted the new visitors and see what their intentions would be while staying at Seabrook.
