A/N: I know, I know. It's even MORE Scorose. I wish I could say I'm sorry, but not truly. Though this one is perhaps a bit more different from the other's I've already written, and closer to their personalities in The Cursed Child. Let me know if you agree!

Day 29/ Auction 1: AVPM dialogue: Quirinus Quirell "Now aren't we an odd couple!"
"Now aren't we an odd couple!" Scorpius suddenly announced out of the blue.
"Umm, Scorpius are you okay?" Rose asked, frowning. They were currently in the Prefects lounge (because, yes! After years of loud petitioning from generation of prefects before them, Headmistress McGonagall had finally granted them an absurdly old History of Magic classroom that most of the castle had forgotten about, for them to turn into a Prefects lounge), on one of the sofas at the back of the room, with Rose reading and Scorpius with his head on her thighs.
It was one of the only places of the castle they could actually relax together, mainly because no one was allowed in the Slytherin common room, apart from Slytherins, and despite the fact that Scorpius would have been very welcome in the Gryffindor common room, a gaggle of red-headed cousins was always ready to shoot them down with awkward questions about their love life. So Prefects lounge it was.
"Yeah, sure, why?"
"Cause that was just a really weird thing to say."
Scorpius blushed, and it was quite funny because he was the only one who could blush harder than her (and that, ladies and gentlemen, was quite the feat, given the Weasley family's reputation for turning into ripe tomatoes). "Well, it's true."
"We're not 'odd'," scoffed Rose.
""Well, 'odd' means 'different from what is usual or expected', we kind of are."
"It also means, 'having one left over as a remainder when divided by two."
"See, exactly what I mean. I'm pretty sure other couples don't go around quoting the dictionary to each other."
This time Rose blushed: "You never know, maybe other people do that too!"
"Highly unlikely. Also, how many Gryffindor/Slytherin couples have you heard of?"
"That's not 'odd'!"
"Well, it is unexpected. Besides, I bet you can't think of one."
She racked her brain: "Wasn't that Johnson guy a Slytherin? You know, the one who dated the head girl last year?"
"Nope, Ravenclaw."
"Dammit, you're right."
"Of course, I'm always right."
She smacked him with her own book. "Okay, fine, but being an inter-house couple isn't that odd."
"Well, you're also taller than me."
"Only by 2 centimeters! And what's all that about height?"
"Well, traditionally, the guy should be taller than the girl."
"That's sexism!"
"It is said that height is the most attractive trait in a man for a woman."
"Then I don't know why I'm attracted to you then!"
"My dashing good looks?"
"You wish!"
He closed his book and looked up at her. "Have I convinced you that we're an odd couple?"
She rolled her eyes: "Fine, if you insist on calling it that so much."
"Well, there's nothing wrong with being odd," he replied with a smile and propped himself up to kiss her.
There was a silence as they both returned to their silent activities, just enjoying each other's presence.
"Hey!" said Rose, "But isn' the expression 'odd couple' an oxymoron?"
Scorpius groaned and pretended just to read.
Rose ignored him and continued: "Because in a couple there are two people, and 2 is an even number!"
"Rooooooose!"
