Greetings to you all and welcome to the story where I have no idea what I am doing but just did because it was fun of an idea that I want to use, and here it is.
Regardless, I would like to say something in regard to SMG4, because when I first read 'SMG4 x harem x Op male reader: In the world of memes and idiots' by 'JustyTurner', I have no idea what the hell am I reading.
Like, who is SMG4? What is SMG4? And why is it is a crossover? And of course, who are the characters there and why are there so many anime girls? Like, JustyTurner hasn't been given much context to the story and thought I searched it up and seriously, why the hell haven't I heard about this show, anyway?
Well, regardless, I have already done with this prologue. Now, I shall do so in utter gusto. Hope you guys enjoyed the prologue because I it oughta be perfect, right?
Well, anyway, enjoy the story.
Disclaimer: I do not own SMG4 and 'SMG4 x harem x Op male reader: In the world of memes and idiots' by JustyTurner. They belong to their respective owners.
Enjoy.
The sun hovered high over 2Fort, casting a warm yet chaotic glow on the peculiar scene unfolding. RED and BLU had faced each other many times, but never like this.
On the BLU side, Scout darted around wildly, peppering the air with bullets as he laughed maniacally. "I'm the fastest! You can't catch me!" he yelled, zigzagging with a mix of reckless abandon and childlike glee.
Meanwhile, Soldier was busy firing rockets indiscriminately into the sky, embracing his inner chaos. "FOR FREEDOM!" he shouted, oblivious to the havoc he was wreaking on the surrounding environment.
In a quiet corner, Pyro sat beside a makeshift bonfire, blissfully content, while Demoman took a swig from his whiskey bottle, the fire reflecting off his drunken grin. "Aye, the only thing better than whiskey is explosions!" he quipped, firing grenades that landed far from where he aimed.
"Sandvich!" Heavy's deep voice boomed, causing nearby RED soldiers to wince. He pouted and rubbed his large stomach, the craving for his beloved sandwich overriding all else. He attempted to physically push through the insanity to find his prized possession amidst the chaos.
"YEE-HAW!" Engineer declared, clearly having lost all sense of time. The screeches of metal and the smell of smoke surrounded him as he danced around a barely functioning Sentry Gun.
Needles whizzed through the air as Medic relentlessly injected his comrades, yelling, "You'll thank me later!" Each jab sent the BLU team into further delirium. No one seemed to know whether they were to be healed or turned into something else entirely.
"Apples." Sniper declared from his perch, caught in a T-Pose, completely out of place and time. His monotone repetition echoed across the battlefield, adding to the absurdity of it all.
As if that wasn't enough, BLU Spy danced across the battleground provocatively, oinking and squeaking as he twisted through the ranks, seemingly impervious to the explosions going on around him.
The RED mercenaries stood on their side of the bridge, witnessing the utter madness unfold. Sniper peered through his scope, bewildered. "What the bloody hell is wrong with them?" he murmured, disbelief etched across his face.
Scout, ever the opportunist, pulled out his phone and began recording, howls of laughter escaping his lips. "You guys! This is golden! Look at 'em go!" He couldn't help but share the ridiculousness with the world.
"Are those really our enemies?" Heavy wondered aloud, glancing at the disheveled crew across the stream.
"Yes," sighed Spy, adjusting his collar. "They are still the BLU Mercenaries, though I daresay they seem… different."
Medic jotted down observations, intrigued. "Fascinating. It has been a month since they began this bizarre behavior. I'm quite sure it must correlate with the arrival of something—"
"Something new, you say?" Engineer interrupted, sipping his drink. "Well, I reckon it's bound to be more entertaining than whatever's goin' on over there."
Suddenly, Soldier slammed his fist down. "Enough! We need to defend the point!" He pointed vigorously across the bridge as he noticed Scout distracted by the BLU madness. "Quit laughing! We have an intruder!"
Scout's laughter quickly faded into confusion. "Wait, what?"
"Look," Soldier urged, his voice taking on a serious tone. "That's not just any Scout."
Indeed, a figure stood out from the absolute chaos. He resembled the Scout in several ways—youthful vigor, the signature baseball cap—but where the usual Scout exuded pure energy, this new one was a direct contrast: serious, composed, and oddly intimidating. His blue jacket seemed tailored for conflict, and bandages wrapped tightly around his hands implied he had known some scrapes before.
"Matthew Grey…" whispered Medic, his eyes widening as realization hit. "BLU's newest recruit and the one said to bring discipline to their chaos!"
The RED mercenaries exchanged glances, worry beginning to seep in. What could his presence mean for the battle at 2Fort?
"He's different," Sniper muttered. "We have to be careful."
As Matthew took a step forward, crossing the bridge without hesitation, the ridiculous antics of the BLU team faded into the background. All eyes were on him, a silent understanding passing between the two teams. The real game was about to begin; one filled with mischief turned to military precision.
"Let's see what chaos he breeds." Engineer grinned, already bracing for the unpredictable.
Unbeknownst to both teams, the tranquil moments before the storm of battle were always the most exhilarating, made even more thrilling by a new player among the chaos.
The stage was set, and in 2Fort, the meet-up between the insane and the serious was bound to ignite a new kind of madness altogether.
Well, here goes the first chapter of the story. I don't intend on leaving my stories hanging without proper context and of course, no one likes it when it is still a one shot.
Anyway, if you have anymore ideas, let me know in the comments below.
As always...
Ciao...
