Episode 12: Saying Goodbye
Later in front of Peach's Castle, Spiderman and Mario are sending Spidey's foes, who are all tied up in webbing, back into his world through the portal. Then they turn to take to each other.
"Thank you Spiderman for helping us save our princess." Says Mario. "We couldn't have rescued her without you."
"You're welcome." Says Spidey, "And I couldn't have saved MJ without your help as well."
"Yeah." Says Mario, "I think we had very impressive teamwork."
"That's right." Says Spiderman.
Mary Jane and Peach are also talking. "So you are a princess." Says MJ.
"That's right." Says Peach. "I may be a princess, but I am also capable of holding my own."
"That's right." Says Mary Jane. "And I think we did good together." The two then fist bump.
Luigi, Yoshi, Wario, and Waluigi are also thanking Spiderman.
"You are magnificent." Says Luigi. "I wish that I would have superpowers like you."
"Yeah." Says Yoshi, "Plus you were really good at taking down our enemies."
"For a weird looking guy, you are all good." Says Wario and he gently slaps him on the back, which causes him to moan in pain.
"Thanks." Says Spidey as he rubs his back, "And you too."
"You know for a guy with superpowers like you, we could have you help out on our other adventures." Says Waluigi. "But since we're parting ways, I guess that we'll just have to find our own powers."
"Don't worry." Says Spidey, "Just remember that you are very capable and that you will be just as powerful as me."
"Oh," says Waluigi, "Thank you."
"Come on guys." Says Mario, "Group hug." The group does so.
"I'm going to miss you Spidey." Says Luigi.
"Me too." Says Spidey, "But hopefully we can meet again someday."
"Same here." Says Yoshi.
Spiderman then takes MJ's hand and they both approach the portal. "I guess this is goodbye." Says Peach.
"Goodbye." Says Spidey and Mary Jane and Mario and his friends to each other.
"Thanks for all the help." Says Mario as they watch the two enter the portal.
The portal then closes as Mario holds Peach's hand.
"Come on guys." He says, "Let's go home." And they start heading back to the castle.
Later in Spidey's world, Dr. Strange is in his lairs watching the news about the entire drama with Spiderman and Mario covered by the Daily Bugle. Just then he hears a knock on his door. So he goes over to answer it.
When he does, he sees no one there. Then he sees his teleportation ring webbed to his door. He takes it and looks at it. Then he sees Spiderman swinging into the distance.
"Thank you." Says Strange. "And good job."
Spiderman continues to swing through the air and past the buildings into the sunset.
