Before beginning this chapter, it should be noted that the character of the rookie cop, portrayed by Allen Franz, is named Officer Hooper in this fanfiction. Anyway, with that said enjoy the story.
Arrival At the Willow Valley Warehouse
"Alright, we've arrived," said the officer as he stepped out of the police car. "Let's go get the girl." "Ok," Zach responded. As they entered the warehouse, they began to search for Maggie. "Damn," she could be anywhere in this warehouse; there are so many rooms," Zach exclaimed.
Suddenly, they heard a noise emanating from the neighboring room. "What was that?" "I don't know, but we're about to find out," the officer responded. As they opened the door, they found a frightened Maggie in the room. "Maggie!" "Zach!"
"How did you know I was in this specific room?" "Well, Teri, the officer, and I heard a noise coming from this room, so we thought you might be in here." "That was smart, using clues like that." "Thanks," said Zach "Now let's get out of here before my ex finds us, "remarked Maggie. "Ok let's go, said Zach."
"As the four of them leave the room, Johnny spots them and begins chasing them. "Uh OH, Run!"
"Come here, I'm not finished with you yet!" Johnny shouted. As they dashed down the hall, their escape was abruptly halted by a dead end. "There's nowhere to run, surrender to me now!" "No, never, shouted Maggie." "Want to bet?" Johnny shoves Maggie across the hall. "Ah, that's it, you're going to pay for this!" As Johnny turned his back, Maggie sucker-punched him. "Hmph, nice move, but can you dodge this?"
As Johnny's fist flies towards Maggie, Zach steps in and intercepts the punch, taking the hit himself. "Yeah, can you dodge that?" Zach taunted. "So, it's come to this, has it? Come here!" As Johnny hoists Zach into the air, he slams him to the ground.
"Zach!" Teri shouted. "Don't try to fight him, Teri; he would kill you," warned Maggie. "The person he wants is me." As Maggie prepares to charge at Johnny, the officer fires a shot, hitting Johnny in the arm, but to no avail, the shot doesn't do any damage to him. "Ha, did you think that would harm me?" Johnny said, as he lifted the officer and soared him down the corridor.
"You've gone too far Johnny!" growled Maggie. "Bitch please, I' was just getting started. As Johnny lunged at Maggie, a potent force repelled him. "Ah, what was that?" Johnny groaned. Looking up, he saw Maggie towering over him, radiating a pink aura. "You've been nothing but trouble since your arrival; thus, by the divine power, I condemn you to eternal damnation!" she declared. "Nooo!" Johnny screamed as he was swept into a dark portal, banished back to hell. ""Zach!" "Are you okay?" "Yeah, except for the fact that I was thrown to the ground like crazy." "Well, at least that's over," replied the officer. "Yeah, you might as well tell the other officers to fall back," replied Zach. "Good idea, kid," said Officer Hooper. "This is Officer Hooper here; everything is cleared out, no backup needed." "10-4," replied the other officer on the radio. "Well, thanks for the help, officer," said Zach. "Anytime, kid. Now I've got to get back to the station; other things could be happening." "Until next time, kid," said the officer before he got into his police car and drove away to go back to the police station.
"So, what shall we do now that it's over?" asked Teri. "I say we go home and forget this ever happened," replied Zach." "Yeah, that's a good idea," replied Maggie. "Plus, I still have to walk to the park to get my car." "Mind if we come with you?" asked Zach. "Sure, I don't want whatever happened today to happen again." "Alright let's go then," said Maggie as the three headed to park to get Maggie's car. While walking there Maggie and Zach began to hold hands. As they did that,Zach began to question Maggie. "Are we really doing this in front of Teri?" "Ah,who cares she's not even looking anyways." "True." said Zach as the trio continued to walk to the park.
At the Park
Upon their arrival at the park, the trio headed directly to Maggie's car. Teri climbed into the back seat, and just as Zach was about to enter the car, Maggie halted him. "Zach, could you come here, please?" Maggie asked in a sweet tone. "Yeah, what is it?" Zach inquired. "What you did for me today was sweet, and no other guy has ever done that for me before," she said. Before Zach could respond, Maggie kissed him on the lips. As they shared a kiss, Zach eventually pulled away. "We should really get going; we don't want to keep Teri waiting," remarked Zach. "Yeah, you're right," replied Maggie in a flirtatious tone. As they settled into the car, Maggie drove out of the parking lot, heading towards Zach and Teri's house to drop them off.
Later that day at the Sands Residence
Maggie arrives at Zach and Terri's house, and the three of them step out to chat. "Thanks for the ride, Maggie," Terri said. "You're welcome," Maggie replied as Terri entered the house. "Is there anything you want to say before I go, babe?" "Um, yeah, about that pink hue, where did it come from?" "Oh, that? It's a power I acquired when I came from heaven." "Wait, heaven?" "Yes, I was there before I was reincarnated and came here." "Oh, that makes sense." "Yes, do you have any other questions for me?" Maggie flirted. "No, "said Zach. "Good." And with that, Maggie kissed Zach once more on the lips. After they shared a lingering kiss, Maggie gently pulled away. "I have to go, I'll see you tomorrow, Zach," she said. "Well alright see you later" "Bye," Maggie said as Zack was walking into the house. After that, Maggie got her car and played Susie Q on her Walkman before pulling off and driving off back to her house.
