Chapter 13

"Get up, both of you; let's go," one of the henchmen announced as the lights came on in the brother's cell.

"I'm up but I need fifteen minutes, or you'll be sorry," Dean snarked at him as he shaded his eyes from the light.

"Me too," Sam added yawning and stretching.

"You've got ten minutes each," he grunted slamming the door shut.

"C'mon bro, we can't delay this any longer," Dean sighed as he got up to use the commode and wash his hands and face. They had stalled for almost two days because of the rain and that was gone now.

"Do you think they're taking me too?" Sam asked. "I figured I'd be held here until you get back."

"No, I think this bastard has it all figured out," Dean told him turning so Sam could have some privacy. "What better place to get rid of bodies than in the middle of nowhere?"

"Crap, you're probably right," Sam agreed.

"Listen to me," Dean stated in a serious tone. "You watch and be ready. I'm going to turn the tables on these assholes when they least expect it."

"Dean, you need to be careful. You know he'll kill you without hesitation. He really only needs one of us."

"I know and the same for you. I've got a plan…" Dean quickly stopped talking when the door opened again, and they were motioned out of the room by a guard pointing a gun at them.

They were guided down several halls and out of the building to two waiting 4X4's that already had everything loaded. The sun hadn't even broken the horizon yet but neither brother complained, just happy to be out in the fresh air.

"So, we're all going?" Dean asked as he was steered to one vehicle and Sam toward the other. They were handcuffed again to prevent them from escaping.

"Of course, I'm not daff," Crowley answered. "I'm not letting you go off with one of my men and you getting the drop on him. You'd have cops here to save your brother in no time. I figure this way I keep you both where I can control you."

"We're ready Boss," one goon told him before opening the passenger door for him.

"Shall we," Crowley said getting in the vehicle.

Dean didn't have a choice as he was shoved in the backseat. He looked behind him to see two goons hustling Sam roughly into the other vehicle. He growled in anger as he thought about what he was going to do to those bastards when he got a chance. He was going to bide his time and when they least expected it, he would make his move and Heaven help anyone who hurt his little brother.

Mary was busying herself in the kitchen making some food for everyone while Charlie sat at the table working on the laptop. Bobby was out in the garage tinkering just to keep busy. All were worried about the brothers and John and Asa.

"Anything new?" Mary asked Charlie after twenty minutes of silence.

"No, not yet," Charlie sighed rubbing her eyes and pausing to sip on an energy drink.

"I wish John would call me with an update," Mary mumbled as she stirred together a casserole.

"Do you need some help?" Charlie asked getting up to lean against the bar.

"No honey, I'm good," Mary briefly smiled.

They looked toward the laptop when an alert started dinging and Charlie hurried back to the table to sit back down. She started typing quickly and scanning the screen.

"What is it Charlie?" Mary asked moving to stand behind her.

"The laptop is moving," she told her.

"We need to call John!" Mary exclaimed looking around for her cell.

"I'm trying to track it. Looks like they're heading northeast from the previous location. Tell John I'll send what I have to him," Charlie told her.

"John, Charlie has some new information she's going to be sending you," Mary started as soon as her call was answered. "Yes, I'll tell her…Yes…Yes…Alright…Just be careful honey…I love you…" Mary hung up and clasped the cell to her chest as she fought back the tears.

"I'll send John the link and he should be able to follow it until the laptop signal is lost when they get out of service range," Charlie noted tapping a few more keys before stopping. "They've got the dogs to help after that and I know how good a tracker John is. He doesn't need any of the fancy tech to get the job done."

"John said they were close now," Mary offered in a soft voice. "Should we call the marshals? Let them know what we found?"

"From what I found, they are in the same area so they must be tracking them somehow too. I'm not sure they would appreciate me hacking their system."

"Charlie, they're going to find them, aren't they?"

"You know John and Asa are going do everything in their power to find them. We just have to say a prayer and have a positive attitude that it's going to happen. Besides, I know Dean and Sam. I think they've got a plan in the works and are waiting for the right time to spring it. They are very resourceful."

"You're right, my boys can take care of themselves," Mary laughed softly for a moment. "But they've never been up against anything like this."

"Why don't we finish that casserole for dinner tonight?" Charlie asked hoping to get her mind onto something else for a bit. She guided Mary to the counter and started asking questions about how to do things even if she knew how.

Mary couldn't help but smile at Charlie since she knew what the young woman was doing and loved her for it. She was like the daughter she never had and was happy when John hired her to be on the team. She meshed well with the others and her expertise was invaluable.
