Good day, everyone. It has been long since I updated this story and I apologize once more. I've been busy, lazy and troubled with finding ways to make this story exciting. I've managed to come up with something for this chapter, but the rest after will still need some work. Now, time to answer some reviews.

Spectacular Webhead 11: Your vote has been taken into consideration.

estaciojohnrafael: I don't understand what you're saying.

Barakas Fiendline: I have an idea on how Huntress can defeat Superman.

Guest: Can you explain more? I need more details.

Girl Anime Club: I intend to do just that.

Carlom2408: I'll try to find a scenario for that.

William Hoenicke: That is a possibility. I'll think about it.

Gundamfreedom0: I plan for Huntress to get sent to the Mortal Kombat universe and meet Fujin there. I think I've read a little on Injustice verse, but not Masters of the universe comic. And the oc character won't work, sorry.

OdeClock: She just likes to tell jokes, have a sense of humor and have fun. Maybe it is part of the genetic Wayne part, but it isn't a bad thing. And I know that I made some mistakes in last chapter, I'm really sorry about that. I'll try better with this chapter and the ones after. And I hope you enjoy the differences I make in this story.

SuperiorSpyder: On her own and without any preparations, she'll be dead meat. But that can be different if she's prepared in advance and has a countermeasure for Superman.

That's all the reviews I'm answering for now. Now everyone, enjoy the chapter since it's been a long time.

Chapter 3: From world's youngest hero to world's youngest wanted.

While everything was going on in the other universe that Huntress and the others got pulled into, their home universe was investigating what had happened to them.

True to the other universe Lex Luthor's words, the bomb didn't go off in Metropolis and countless lives were safe from harm. This universe's Lex Luthor and his associates were locked up with the key lost, freeing the Justice League members of any concerns of them causing any trouble. Even Harley Quinn was arrested as well.

With all that taken care of; the Justice League was free to find out about their missing friends without any distractions. Flash, Shazam and Hawk Girl had reported what had happened to Batman, Huntress, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow and Joker right away to Superman and the rest of the league. Only a day has passed since the incident and everyone was hard at work finding their friends.

Inside of the Watchtower; Catwoman stood in front of a window that displayed the planet Earth. The former thief stared at her home planet with an expressionless face and arms crossed. No sign of the worry attacking Catwoman relentlessly present on her face or body.

Out of everyone; she's been the most worried for two specific members that have gone M.I.A. Her husband; Batman and daughter; Huntress. With no idea what has happened to her family; Catwoman's been on edge this whole time. She was even tempted to go and "claw" Lex Luthor's eyes out for giving Joker that nuke that caused this whole thing to happen, but Superman talked her out of it.

Right now; there was nothing Catwoman can do to help with the search and it frustrated her. Having to rely on others completely to find her family, Catwoman couldn't stand it. Yet she knew that all she could do right now is just wait for Cyborg and Flash.

Catwoman's mind wondered to what she, Superman, Flash and Cyborg discussed last night about their missing friends.

(Flashback)

Superman and Catwoman walked side by side to the supercomputer where Flash and Cyborg have been tirelessly working since their friends disappeared. They stopped behind the two seated Justice League members with Superman pressing both fists gently against his hips. "Nothing yet?" He questioned the two, eyes on the screen in front of him.

"The energy signature from the park doesn't match anything in the database". Cyborg answered, briefly catching Superman's attention for a moment. "Why don't I just vibrate at the same frequency as the energy signature and follow them?" Flash questioned the Man of Steel, turning to look at Superman as he spoke.

Superman looked at Flash and answered. "Cause we don't know if they went somewhere dangerous". The Man of Steel answered, refusing to take any risks with his friends. "Or if they went anywhere at all. Superman's right, it's too risky". Cyborg remarked, receiving a dangerous hiss from Catwoman.

"You're the pinnacle of human evolution, right?! Then find a way to find them and get my family back from whatever took them away!" Catwoman said with a low, yet dangerous voice directed at Cyborg. The Justice League members instantly shivered from Catwoman's words, all of them fully aware that she's close to scratching something in anger or frustration.

"Selina, please calm down. I understand that you're worried about Bruce and Helena, but we're doing everything we can to find them. Getting angry isn't going to help anyone". Superman told his best friend's wife, placing his left hand gently on Catwoman's right shoulder. Catwoman turned to the Man of Steel with a deep frown married to her face.

The two wordlessly stared at one another for a few seconds, until eventually Catwoman broke eye-contact. She turned her head away and let out a deep sigh. "Sorry, I just... I'm just worried about my family". She apologized with a soft voice, head tilted down in shame from her attitude earlier.

Superman gave the former thief a reassuring smile, despite her not seeing it. "It's okay, I understand you're frustrated. You're not the only one worried, so are we". The Man of Steel told Catwoman, turning to look at Flash first then at Cyborg once he finished speaking. Cyborg immediately nodded, while Flash lowered his head in shame.

"I may not look it, but I'm freaking out too. And it's not just me. Dick and especially Raven are worried sick about Helena". The Justice League/Teen Titan member said with a clear voice, thinking back to all the other Teen Titan members freaking out about their former teammate's disappearance. "Same with me. It's too bad I wasn't fast enough to catch them in the first place". Flash spoke, typing away at the keyboard with his speed force speed.

Superman and Catwoman turned to look at Flash with the Man of Steel speaking. "We'll find them. We have to". The kryptonian stated, turning to face the computer screen once more. Catwoman looked right at the computer screen as well, only with a worried frown on her face. "I just hope they're alright wherever they are. It's not just whatever's on the other side they have to worry about, but the Joker as well". Catwoman said with concern, bringing both hands together as if she were praying.

She had faith in her husband and daughter to take care of themselves and handle whatever threat they face. It was the clown prince of crime that worried her the most. After all, he's the one responsible for the loss of Barbra Gordon's legs and life as Batgirl, but the death of Jason Todd as well. They've already lost much to that clown, and Catwoman didn't want her daughter to suffer at his hands as well.

(Flashback end)

Catwoman lightly grit her teeth and hissed slightly just from the mere thought of Joker laying his hands on Huntress. 'If that clown so much as even lays a finger on Huntress, nothing will stop me from giving him something to "really smile" about!' Catwoman mentally swore, closed hands opening with the cat claws out to scratch something. Preferably a certain clown's face.

She let out a deep breath of air and closed both eyes, letting go of her anger. 'Keep your cool, Selina. Bruce has handled Joker a thousand times by now, so there's no need to worry about him having trouble with that clown. And you've trained Helena as best you could with everything. She'll be just fine against the clown if the situation calls for it'. Catwoman thought to herself, trying to calm herself down with anything she can think of.

It worked as Catwoman calmed down a little, yet she was still worried greatly. She let out another deep breath, before lifting her right hand and laid it on the window. "I can't how much of a worrywart I've become since I stopped stealing and went straight. I guess this is what happens when you become a mom'. She thought, giving a small chuckle at herself. It truly was amazing how much she's changed since she married Gotham's famed Dark Knight.

Years ago; she used to be as free as the wind without any worry for others. She stole what she wanted from the rich, donate to the poor and help any cat-like creature that caught her eye. And the most fun thing of all, playing around with her favorite caped crusader that gave her a rush unlike anything she's ever felt before.

And on one day, it all changed. Catwoman would confidently say for the better because she got a family, a place to call home and a man that'll treasure and love her until the day they die. And the greatest and unexpected gift of all, a daughter that she gave birth herself. A girl that she loved with all her heart and was so proud of. And right now; she couldn't reach her greatest treasures.

All the riches in the world would never compare to how much she treasured her family. And the longer she was away from them, the more her heart aches for their return. "...Bruce... Helena... Please, come home safely..." Catwoman uttered, slowly placing both hands over her chest exactly where the heart was. She never believed in gods, but right now she prayed to one for the safe return of her husband and daughter.

She just hopes her prayers will be answered soon.

(In the Injustice universe/ Metropolis)

Huntress walked through the desolate street of Metropolis, the exact same one she had arrived in when she, Batman and Joker got transported to this alternate universe. Call it a twist of fate or whatever, this specific spot of Metropolis seemed to be important somehow.

Huntress stopped walking and stood still. She looked around her surroundings, taking it all in and comparing this Metropolis to the one in her home universe. 'I still can't believe something so horrible happened in this city years ago... So many killed that day... Lois, Garfield, Wally...' The young Justice League member thought to herself in sadness, greatly missing her friends that died in this universe. How she desperately wanted to go home and hug them all right now.

Huntress lightly shook her head to rid herself of those thoughts. She had a job to do right now and the sooner it was done, the sooner she and everyone else can go home. Huntress lifted her head up, then let out a mentally exhausted sigh with both eyes closed. "I can't believe I'm actually doing this. Looking for him of all people". She said with a scoff, starting to think this was a bad idea from the start.

The reason why she's here in Metropolis is because of a job that Lux Luthor needed her to complete. At first she was more than happy and willing to do this job since it would help in the fight against this universe's Superman and his Regime. But that changed right away at learning what the job was.

Find and bring back Slade Wilson, A.K.A Deathstroke.

This job was easily one of the worst she's ever done in her whole life. Back when she was a member of the Teen Titans, she ran into that bounty hunter many times and he's always tried to kill her. Plus, he's messed with her friends a lot, tried to kill her father because of their history with the League of Assassins and almost killed Dick a few times.

Huntress' mind began to wonder back to when she set out of Batman's underground base in Gotham; exactly when Lex told her of the job to find Deathstroke.

(Flashback)

Huntress stood in front of the Lex Luthor of this universe with a deep frown and arms crossed. The bald man had a naturel expression as he stared back at the teenage girl, not bothered in the slightest the way she's looking at him.

The two were in the hallway outside the room that Batman and the others were in, discussing their operation into Wayne manor. That just left Huntress with Lex and the job he had for her. And so far, she was not exactly happy after Luthor finished telling her what it was about.

After a few minutes of silence; Huntress eventually broke it. "Let me get this straight... You want me to go to Metropolis, find Deathstroke and bring him back here... Is that right?" The black-haired teenager asked with sarcasm leaking out of her voice. Luthor gave a nod of the head in response, resulting in Huntress narrowing her eyes dangerously at him.

"...What even makes you think he's there? That jackass could be anywhere in the whole world right now". Huntress stated, knowing from experience that tracking Deathstroke is nearly impossible. There were times she needed to track him down and it was tough like finding a needle in a haystack.

"You don't need to worry about that. I talked to Green Lantern earlier and he told me that he encountered Slade at Coast City. He saved him from Raven and Cyborg". Luthor told the young girl, words that made Huntress widen both eyes in surprise at the mention of her former teammates.

Huntress slightly bit her lip, yet remained silent about her inner desires and focused on now. "If that's the case, then shouldn't I go to Coast City to look for him?" She questioned, which Luthor shook his head in response. "There won't be any need. I contracted him and he agreed to a meeting in Metropolis. He hasn't fully agreed to helping us yet, so I want you to convince and bring him here". Luthor answered Huntress, to the girl's slight surprise at hearing this.

'I must admit; this Lex is much better and quicker than the one in my universe. Almost makes me wish he was in my universe'. The 14-year-old girl thought, impressed greatly with the man in front of her. He wasn't a criminal madman like the one she knew, and he wanted to free the world from Superman's Regime. He's okay in Huntress's book, at least for now.

"I see. And you can't risk anyone seeing you with a wanted bounty hunter like Slade in public, so you're sending me since it's less of a risk, right?" She asked once more, once more receiving a nod from Luthor. "Correct. I can't afford letting Superman know that I'm with the Insurgence just yet, and everyone else is busy with retrieving the Kryptonite weapon. You're the only one that's available". The bald man answered, lifting his right hand and gently placed it on Huntress' left shoulder.

"I understand that this is risky for you as well, Helena. I'm certain that Wonder Woman and the Regime are searching for you right now, but this is really important. We'll need Slade's help when it's time to face Superman and his Regime". Lex said to the teenage girl, growing a sour expression just from the thought of sending someone as young as Helena out into danger.

Huntress looked at Luthor's hand on her shoulder for a moment, before facing the adult man. "You don't have to explain yourself; I understand. And honestly; I don't want to just stay safe here while everyone else is risking their lives". The 14-year-old girl told Luthor, right hand turning into a fist and gripping a bit hard that her bones cracked a little.

Going into danger was nothing new for the daughter of the bat and cat. It was who she'll be facing that'll be different in a sense. She's fought Slade, so that won't be any different. But when the time comes to face the Regime, Huntress knows she'll face many of her friends' counterparts here. With the two biggest targets for her being Wonder Woman and the fake Nightwing.

Lex grew a small smile at Huntress, followed with a nod. "Thank you. I really need Slade's assistance for our battle against Superman". Luthor thanked the teenage girl, truly grateful for her assistance.

"Just one thing... You are aware that I used to be a Teen Titan member, right?" Huntress asked the bald man, paying no mind as Luthor lifted his hand from her shoulder. Luthor shook his head in response to Huntress' question. "No, I didn't know that. Can I assume that means you and your Deathstroke have a history?" Luthor questioned in response, getting an amused scoff from Huntress.

"If by history you mean him trying to kill me, then yes, I say we have a history. I really don't like him". Huntress answered, then turned her head to look to the side. "But I will admit that he's crafty and could be of some help against Superman". The black-haired female admitted, before letting out a small sigh with both eyes closed.

Huntress turned back to Lex with a small frown, uncrossing her arms as she did so. "Where can I find the old timer? I'll try to bring him back in one piece, but if he tries anything, he's gonna need another eye patch". Huntress said with a growing amused grin, before she let out a small chuckle. Luthor gave a small chuckle himself at Huntress' words.

(Flashback end)

Huntress shook her head to snap herself out of her flashback. Once she stopped; the teenage girl turned her head left and right in search of her old enemy, but spotted no sight of him. "Where is that old jackass? I know that this is the place Luthor arranged that meeting with him to be, so where is he?" The teenage girl said to herself, turning around to face the direction she came from.

"He better show up, or else I'm gonna shave him bald. Then he'll really have a reason to hide his face from the world". Huntress added, crossing both arms in front of her chest. "Oh really?" A familiar voice came from behind Huntress, right before the sounds of a gun's safety went off.

Huntress narrowed her eyes first, then let out a small sigh with her eyes closed. 'Honestly, I should have known better. Alternate reality or not, this is still Slade after all'. The black-haired girl thought to herself, uncrossing her arms and dropping them.

"You gonna let me turn around and face you, or tell me to stand still?" Huntress questioned, opening both eyes and slowly lifting both hands up exactly how anyone would when a gun's pointed at them. She hasn't been threatened yet, so Huntress had no reason to go on the attack just yet. She'll play things out for now.

"...Slowly turn around. Try anything and I'll gun you down before you can try anything". Huntress' assailant answered with a voice that demanded no nonsense. The 14-year-old girl complied and slowly turned around to face this universe's Deathstroke.

Huntress blinked in surprise at what she saw. Just like everyone else of this universe, this Deathstroke was different from the one that Huntress knows from her universe. Instead of black and gray armor, with goldenrod greaves and gauntlets, this one's armor composed of red, orange, and gray. He was unmasked and was wearing an eyepatch with three red dots on it.

Slade's gray hair and beard was on full display, a half-gas mask was around on his neck. Deathstroke has two huge red shoulder pads holding up a stash of equipment on it. Some parts of Deathstroke's armor had some spike appendages on his wrist and arm guards. Deathstroke has two red sheaths that store his guns and have two knee guards, but the left one has a skull on it. Sheathed on his back was a one-handed sword, just like the Deathstroke of Huntress' universe and in his hands was a riffle that was currently pointing at the teenage girl.

"Wow... Looks like someone isn't afraid to show how old they are". Huntress joked in a teasing manner, even growing a grin at the bounty hunter a few feet away. "Very funny. I honestly didn't think a ghost would have a sense of humor". Deathstroke replied with his own grin, instantly wiping off the one on Huntress' face at what he called her.

"Do I look see-through to you? Are you SO old that you can't even tell who's alive or not anymore, Slade?" Huntress questioned her old enemy, resulting in the old bounty hunter losing his own grin. "Keep talking like that and I'll send you back to the land of the dead". Deathstroke threatened the teenage girl, not sounding very pleased with what she said.

Huntress let out a mentally exhausted sigh, lowering her head. "I knew in advance that this was going be difficult, but damn. Okay, it's clear how this is gonna go, so let's just get straight to it". The black-haired girl said to herself, deciding to forget taking "normal" approach and go with her approach instead.

(Play Injustice: Gods Among Us - Metropolis song (Street/Rooftop/Museum)

Huntress moved her left hand to her crossover. grabbed hold and drew it all in under a second and a half. Slade wasted no time seeing Huntress moved and fired his rifle a few shots at the teenage girl.

Huntress held out her crossbow, pointing it directly at Slade yet that was when she got hit by the rifle's bullets. Much to Slade's surprise however, they bounced right off without doing any harm to her. "What!?" Deathstroke called out with a wide-eyed expression full of surprise at what just happened.

Huntress fired a single arrow at Slade. The bounty hunter reacted with fast reflects and attempted to knock the arrow away with his right arm. Yet the moment the arrow contacted with Slade, it exploded and blast him off his feet. "Ahhh!?" He gasped out, crashing down on the ground 5 feet away from where he had been standing just a moment ago.

Huntress cracked a smirk at seeing Slade down. She then looked down at her own stomach, before gently rubbing it with the right hand. 'It's a good thing that I took one of those Kryptonian pills before I left Gotham. I always did wonder what it would be like having bullets bounce off without doing anything like how Clark does it'. Huntress thought to herself, beyond grateful that she had been given one of those pills last night.

Huntress returned her attention to the situation at hand and looked over to Slade, right as he got back on his feet. The old bounty hunter gave Huntress a scowl, putting his riffle away on his back. "You just made the biggest mistake of your life, kid". Deathstroke stated, voice cold and without emotion. A sign that he was in, what Huntress calls, kill mode.

Huntress gave a small scoff at Slade's words. "Like I haven't heard that before". She said in amusement, holding up the small metal rod with her right hand. She began spinning it with the rod extending fully. She quickly took her stance and smirked at Slade. "And besides; that's my line for you". Huntress added, words that Slade ignored as he took his own battle stance.

Slade quickly brought out his pistole guns and fired at Huntress. She acted with quick relaxes and jumped into the air, dodging completely. In midair, Huntress brought out her crossbow with her left hand and fired a grappling arrow at Deathstroke. The arrow pierced Deathstroke's stomach, making him cry out in pain. Huntress quickly pressed a button on her crossbow, causing the device to start retracting the grappling hook attached to her arrow and pulling her to Slade.

Thinking fast, Huntress held her left foot out and kicked Slade once she was in close contact, sending the gray-haired man flying back and pulling the arrow out of his skin. Huntress landed on her feet and returned her crossbow to the sleeve attached to her utility belt, while Slade got back on his feet.

Slade jumped up and spun like a ball. Once close enough, he stopped spinning and thrust both knees out, kneeing Huntress in the face, The black-haired girl grunted in pain, while Slade landed on both feet. He then quickly punched Huntress across the face with his left fist.

An annoyed Huntress jumped up in front of Slade, before she locked her legs around the gray-haired man's head. Huntress flipped backwards before she slammed Slade to the ground with her legs and landed on her hands, her metal pole still in her right hand, then front flipped onto her feet and took her stance. Huntress turned around to face Slade as he got back up and turned to face her as well.

Too fast for the eye to see, Slade crouched down and swiped his left foot over Huntress's legs, knocking the teenage off her feet with Huntress collapsing face first on the ground. Huntress quickly got back up on her feet and retook her trance. Slade jumped into the air and flipped over with his feet out, yet Huntress blocked it with her pole, holding it in front of her with both her hands.

Slade landed on his feet while Huntress dropped her guard. Huntress suddenly slides down the ground and kicked under Slade's legs, launching him off the ground, crying out in surprise before he slammed onto the ground with Huntress retaking her stance. The teenage girl turned around to face her downed opponent.

Huntress brought out her crossbow and fired an armored arrow at the ground behind Slade. The arrow beeped 3 times as Slade got back on his feet and turned to face Huntress, but that was when the arrow exploded, sending Slade up into the air. Gravity did its thing and Slade crashed onto the ground on his back a few feet in front of Huntress.

Slade brought out the pistole guns again and fired, this time landed a hit on Huntress. Huntress retaliated by bringing out her crossbow and fired a grappling hook that wrapped around Slade. Huntress turned around, lifted Slade off the ground and slammed him on the ground in front of her. Huntress put away her grappling hook and retook her stance.

Slade got back up, turned to face Huntress and took his stance. He thrust his right leg out and kicked Huntress in the stomach, followed up by drawing his sword and swinging it down on Huntress, pushing Huntress's head down and drawing blood. Slade retracted his sword, while Huntress straightened herself.

Slade brought out his guns once more and fired, yet Huntress quickly used her cape to block. Huntress went on the attack as she swung her metal pole in a combo attack. She first swung her metal pole at the bounty hunter's waist, making Slade cry out in pain, before she palm struck him in the chin and followed it up with a roundhouse kick with her right leg, sending the villain off his feet and crashing onto the ground.

Slade quickly got back up to his feet, while Huntress retook her stance. Slade jumped into the air forward with Huntress doing the same. The two landed in front of each other with Slade quickly drawing his sword and swung it down on Huntress again.

Huntress was prepared this time; she grabbed hold of her cape with her left hand and used it to block and stop Slade's swing. Quickly, Huntress swung her metal pole, striking Slade's left waist, before twirling around to slam her pole into the criminal's right waist. She followed up by elbowing Slade in the stomach with her left arm, before slamming the back of her fist into the bounty hunter's face.

The moment her first came into contact, a shockwave went off right before Slade was sent sliding across the ground on his back. "Eat your heart out, Green Arrow". Huntress said with a smirk as she checked her crossbow out for a moment, before returning it to her belt's sleeve. Slade got back up on his feet before the two fighters took their stances.

Slade couched down and fired her pistols at Huntress' legs. Huntress gave a grunt of pain when they made contact, yet remained standing. Huntress jumped up forward, but Slade drew his rifle and fired up at the teenager, striking her three times. Huntress fell and crashed down on her back.

The Justice League member climbed back up onto her feet. Huntress brought out her crossbow again and fired an armored arrow at the ground in front Slade. The arrow beeped 3 times, before exploding and sending Slade flying forward in the air. Slade began falling, but Huntress wasn't done yet. She swung her metal pole up with both hands, hitting Slade and sending him up into the air once more.

Huntress quickly dashed forward as Slade fell. The bounty hunter crashed down on his back, while Huntress stopped in front of Slade's down form. Slade got back up, yet Huntress reached out and grabbed hold of him with her left hand before he could do anything.

Huntress brought him close, before she took hold of her metal pole and swung it twice, hitting him on the face twice. Huntress spun left as she swung her pole below Slade's feet, knocking him off balance as he began to fall backwards, but the teenage girl wasn't finished yet as she kicked his back with her left foot, sending him sliding across the ground.

Huntress retook her stance, while Slade got back up on his feet. Slade drew his sword with the right hand, followed by a burst of light red energy as he crouched down lightly light a predator with the hand out. "Hah!" The bounty hunter roared out, taking his sword into both hands.

Huntress quickly jumped up just in time as Slade shot forward faster than the eye could follow, passing through the airborne teenage girl and ended up on the other side of the battlefield. Huntress landed on her feet, before both she and Slade turned around to face each other.

Huntress and Slade dashed over to one another two times until they were in front on each other. Slade thrust his left fist out to punch her across the face, but Huntress blocked it with her pole.

With a burst of purple energy around her, Huntress gave out a cry as she spun her metal pole around her right arm before taking hold of it with both her hands. Huntress swung her metal pole at Slade's face, knocking him back a few feet before throwing her weapon at the old man's face. The metal pole struck Deathstroke's face, before it was launched into the air.

Huntress brought out her crossbow with her left hand and fired three different arrows at Slade. The first made an explosion when it made contact, the second unleashed a supersonic boom that pushed the bounty hunter back and the last one pierced his armored suit. Huntress then aimed her crossbow at her airborne metal pole and fired the grappling arrow at it. The grappling arrow wrapped around the metal pole, before Huntress began moving her left hand around, swinging her metal pole at Slade and struck him twice.

Huntress then swung her crossbow down, perfectly stabbing her metal pole into the ground, before the grappling arrow unwrapped around it and returned to her crossbow. The 15-year-old female returned her crossbow to her belt's sleeve, before she began cart whirling towards her metal pole. Once Huntress was close enough, she launched herself in the air.

While spinning in midair, Huntress grabbed her metal pole with both her hands and pulled it out the ground. She gave out a cry as she slammed the end of her weapon on top of Slade's head, sending him sliding across the ground while Huntress gracefully landed on her feet and retook her stance.

(Music end)

Slade rose up onto his feet, before crouching down and groaned in defeat, right fist pressed against the ground and left arm on the left knee. Seeing her foe defeated, Huntress dropped her stance and stood tall with a proud grin. "Now this, is worth coming all the way to Metropolis for". The teenage girl said with a satisfied voice, having greatly enjoyed beating up Slade.

She began walking over to the down bounty hunter, putting her metal pole away as she did so. Slade, on the other hand, sat down on the ground and let out a loud chuckle. "Well, you're not too bad. I'm impressed". The gray-haired man stated, lifting his head to look directly at Huntress' face once she was in front of him.

"Save the flattery. I've faced my Slade so many times to know that you weren't giving it your best". Huntress said with a frown, before quickly transforming into a mischievous grin. "Still, it was fun kicking your old ass. A pleasure that'll never get old". She added, folding both hands behind her head and chuckled at the down bounty hunter.

Slade let out a scoff at Huntress' words, but remained silent for now. Huntress dropped both hands and replaced her mischievous expression with a serious one. "Now that we're all done having fun, let's get down to business. Let's start off with why you held me at gunpoint. Why'd you do it?" The black-haired female questioned Slade, crossing both hands in front of her chest.

"Nothing personal. I just wanted to test you and see if there really was any chance of beating Superman and his little merry band". Slade answered, pulling his left knee up and rested the left arm over it. "I can guess why. With how "peaceful" Superman has made things here, business has been terrible, hasn't it". Huntress said with a frown, uncrossing her arms and waved the right hand over her shoulder.

"That's an understatement. Can't afford giving chances to get caught. I got caught by two of Superman's lackeys and was tortured by them". The old bounty hunter said with irritation leaking out of his voice. Huntress flinched at Slade at what he said about being tortured by her two old friends and former Teen Titan teammates.

"I... heard about that. It was Cyborg and Raven, right?" Huntress asked for confirmation, a vain hope that Slade tells her that she's wrong and it was someone else. But to Huntress' disappointment and sadness, Slade gave a nod of the head.

"Yeah, it was those damn kids. Teh, those two always were pains in my ass, but now they're really irritating". The bounty hunter growled out, raising a shaking right fist before punching the ground with it.

Huntress felt her right eyebrow twitch in irritation at what he called Cyborg and Raven, yet remained silent. After all, she couldn't defend versions of her friends that have crossed a line that Teen Titan members should never take. "We're getting off track here. Now that you've seen me in action, are you willing to join our side?" The black-haired female asked the bounty hunter, snapping him out of his hate filled thoughts.

Slade looked right at Huntress' face and gave a nod. "I'm in, alright. This is my chance to make some big cash and get payback on the punks". Deathstroke answered, climbing back up on his feet all the while he kept eye contact with Huntress. 'Typical. No care for the innocent or the world's wellbeing. Just wants to make some cash'. Huntress thought to herself, lightly shaking her head in disappointment at Slade's priorities.

"Okay, glad that's settled. You head on to Gotham and meet up with Lex there. He'll fill you in on the details". Huntress told her old enemy, starting to walk in mid speech. "And just where are you going?" The bounty hunter questioned, watching the girl walk pass him and onward in a seemingly random direction.

"To do my own things to contribute. I'll meet up with you and everyone else in Gotham later. Later old man". Huntress answered, waving her right hand out as she continued walking without any sign of stopping. Slade narrowed his eyes at the girl, before speaking. "Whatever it is you're gonna do, leave those two brats out of it. I still have a score to settle with them". Slade told the teenage girl, which she gave him the middle finger with her right hand in response.

Slade scoffed at Huntress, before facing forward and walked away in the opposite direction. Huntress suddenly stopped walking and proceeded to look over her left shoulder and watch Slade walk away for half a minute. Once he was gone from her sight, Huntress let out a sigh and face forward.

"This is a big risk I'm taking, but I have to do it. I've gotta infiltrate the Hall of Justice". The black-haired female said to herself, bringing up her left hand and stared down at it. She stared for a good 10 seconds, before turning it into a fist.

"This is the only way I know how to contribute myself. The kryptonite weapon is our best plan for now, but we're still outnumbered greatly. There has to still be people out there that can even the odds". Huntress added, lifting her head and stared forward with a deep frown. She brought her left hand down to the belt and grabbed hold of the grappling gun.

Huntress took aim and fired the grappling gun at a random building. She soon was lifted from the ground up to the building, leaving the empty street of Metropolis and headed straight for the Hall of Justice.

(Later)

Huntress stood at the edge of a building, gazing directly down at the Hall of Justice below her. It was exactly like the one back in her home dimension; the building, entrance, statues and fountain as well. The similar were so identical that no one could see the one difference between the two dimensions' Hall of Justice. No on except for Huntress right now.

The black-haired girl was silent, no sound coming from her or any movements either. She just continued staring down at the famed museum with her arms crossed and eyes in a deep frown. Eventually; she broke the silence and spoke. "This place is meant to represent the world's greatest heroes. Who they are, what they represent and to give people hope for a brighter future". Huntress said with a low voice, nothing except sadness leaking out of her voice.

The black-haired girl uncrossed her arms and dropped them to the sides. "Now though, it only represents what the fallen heroes used to be before 5 years ago. Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, Nightwing... so many dead because of the path Clark took. All of this because of that stupid mad clown..." Huntress continued, voice sharp with anger in it for the clown that ruined her godfather's alternate self's life here in this universe.

Huntress suddenly dropped her head and let out a mentally exhausted sigh with eyes closed. "Let's just get this over with. I don't want to spend too much time here". The black-haired female stated, getting down on her right knee and placed the left hand on her left knee.

Huntress's right hand wondered to the back of her utility belt and grabbed hold of something there. She brought her right hand up and stared at the Remote Hacking Device she's holding. Huntress unfolded the device and activated it, grabbing hold with both hands and began hacking into the Hall of Justice's security system.

One of the many things her parents had taught Huntress when she was training was how to hack. Batman hacked when he needed to break in somewhere for his investigations or arresting a thug, while Catwoman often did it when she was stealing. Huntress learned hacking like how a duck took to water and was exceptional at it.

The proof was clear to see as it only took 15 minutes for Huntress to hack the Hall of Justice and disable all the security systems. Huntress let out an amused grin, folding the Remote Hacking Device back together. "Daughter of the world's greatest detective and former number 1 cat burglar. Even the world's greatest security system is nothing to me". She said with utter confidence, placing the device away on the back of her utility belt once more.

Huntress then stood up on her feet fully. Huntress leaned forward and fell off the rooftop, falling towards the ground with a calm look on her face. The daughter of the Bat and the Cat grabbed the ends of her cape, before she spread them out like wings and ascended into the air. Huntress glided through the air, headed straight for the Hall of Justice's entrance.

Huntress descended slowly and landed safely in front of the stone statue entrance in a crouch. Huntress stood up fully on her feet and took a glance at the statues for a moment. "...I still don't get the purpose of creating statues like these in the first place". The girl stated, pressing both hands against her hips before walking forward and passed the entrance.

In a minute and a half; Huntress was inside the building and was walking down the Great Hall to the main bridge where she could access all the data that the Regime's got. As she walked; Huntress couldn't help herself from looking at everything displayed for the public eye.

There were statues of famed heroes such as Stargirl, Mr. Miracle, Big Barda, and Hawkman, there's even a bust of Orion. Huntress could see in the Trophy Room, the costumes of Wildcat, Dr. Midnite, Sandman, and Dr. Fate were exhibited. And clear for everyone to see without any trouble was a giant golden statue of the dimension's Superman.

Huntress stared up at the Superman statue with an unimpressed face, before giving off a scoff. "This universe's Superman is rather full of himself. I'm honestly tempted to just wreck the place and stick it to the Man of Steal, but I don't want to draw his attention. I'll come back and do it later". The black-haired girl remarked, placing both hands on her hips once more.

Huntress took notice of something through the corner of her right eye. She looked over to the teleporter where she saw someone teleporting in, much to her annoyance. "My luck was bound to run out eventually". Huntress remarked, before suddenly blinking in realization and grew an eager grin. "On second thought, this could work out just perfect for me". She said with excitement leaking out of her voice, before quickly taking off to hide.

The light of the teleporter cleared to reveal this universe's Hal Jordon, once a Green Lantern but now a Yellow Lantern. Hal is wearing a modified costume with more padding on his shoulders. He also has yellow metallic gauntlets with the Yellow Lantern symbol on his wrists. He still has a yellow domino mask and torso; however, the logo on his chest was glowing, and the sides of his torso and underarms are black. He also has yellow straps on the sides of his torso. His inner thighs are also black, while his outer thighs are yellow. His outfit is laced with glowing yellow light.

Yellow Lantern wasted no time looking around his surroundings and began walking straight to the command center. He had no clue that Huntress was watching him from her hiding spot in the wall's shadows.

The teenage girl frowned at the sight of Yellow Lantern, before growing a disgusted expression. "Geez, I heard all about it from Hal how his counterpart ditched green and went yellow. It was hard to picture, but yellow really isn't his colour". Huntress said to herself, sticking her toung out in disgust. She's fought Sinestro a good few times and absolutely hated how the Yellow Lanterns' powers emit from fear itself.

'This Hal and Scarecrow would probably be best friends if they met. Anyway, I'm just gonna get this over with so I don't have to look at him for long'. Huntress thought to herself, bringing up her crossbow with the left hand. The crossbow unfolded, before she pointed it directly at the unsuspecting Yellow Lantern.

"Surprise!" She called out with a wide grin, pulling the trigger and firing a single arrow at Yellow Lantern. Hal widen his eyes in alarm, quickly turning to the direction that cry came from before holding his right fist up. Yellow Lantern created a yellow shield created from the yellow ring.

The arrow made contact with the yellow shield, an explosion went off with the force pushing Yellow Lantern off his feet. He gave a surprised cry, back hitting the ground and sliding across it a little bit until eventually stopping.

Hal groaned in pain, before he sat up from the ground and placed the right hand on his forehead. "What just happened?" He seemingly questioned himself, having a bit of difficulty coming to terms with what just happened exactly.

"I happened!" Huntress exclaimed, walking out of her hiding spot and into open view. Hal turned to look at the teenage girl exactly the same time she put her crossbow away. "You!?" Yellow Lantern shouted out in alarm, quickly climbing back up on his feet and faced Huntress directly.

"You've got a lot of nerve breaking in here! I don't know how you faked your death, Huntress, but you're gonna regret it! I'm taking you straight to Superman and you better hope that he-" Yellow Lantern spoke, only to get interrupted by the teenage girl. "Blah, blah, blah, your evil monologue, blah!" Huntress teasingly called out with a grin, then giggled a little at the annoyed frown Yellow Lantern was giving her.

(Play Injustice: Gods Among Us - Hall Of Justice song (Plaza/Great Hall)

Huntress ceased giggling and gave Hal a confident smirk. "Sorry, but I don't have time to spare listening to you talk. I've got better things to do, like what I'm gonna do with you once you're knocked out". The teenage girl told Yellow Lantern, drawing her metal pole with it extending straight away. "So, let's just skip the small talk and get down to business". Huntress added, before taking her stance for battle.

Yellow Lantern wordlessly took his stance as well, the exact same one that Huntress' Green Lantern takes whenever he fights. Huntress made the first move; she brought out her crossbow and fired an armored arrow at the ground in front Yellow Lantern. The arrow beeped 3 times, Yellow Lantern reacted fast and jumped forward just before the arrow exploded.

Yellow Lantern landed right in front of Huntress, but she was ready for him. Huntress reached out and grabbed hold of him with her left hand before he could do anything. She brought him close, before she took hold of her metal pole and swung it twice, hitting him on the face twice. Huntress spun left as she swung her pole below Hal's feet, knocking him off balance as he began to fall backwards, but the teenage girl wasn't finished yet as she kicked his back with her left foot, sending him sliding across the ground.

Huntress retook her stance, while Hal floated back up into the air and took his stance. Huntress dashed to Hal, only for that to be a mistake. Hal brought up his left arm and grabbed hold of Huntress with yellow energy, holding her up in midair. He turned and threw the teenage girl down on the ground hard face first.

Huntress got back up and turned to face Hal with the two retaking their stances. Hal dashed up to Huntress, then threw his left fist at Huntress' face, but she crouched down and dodged. Huntress jabbed her metal pole out, hitting Hal's left leg and caused him to grunt.

Huntress got back up on her feet, right as Hal recovered. Hal threw his right foot out, yet Huntress grabbed hold of her cape with her left hand and used it to block and stop Hal's.

Quickly, Huntress swung her metal pole, striking Hal's left waist, before twirling around to slam her pole into the Yellow Lantern's right waist. She followed up by elbowing Hal in the stomach with her left arm, before slamming the back of her fist into his face, sending Hal crashing into the ground and sliding against it a little before stopping.

Hal got back up while Huntress retook her stance. Hal waved his right hand forward and fired a yellow energy bullet from the ring. Huntress reacted quickly and guarded herself with her pole. Hal next created a yellow large ram and held it with both arms, charging forward like a rocket and hit Huntress. The teenage girl was launched off her feet and sent crashing onto the ground, while the yellow battering ram shattered like glass.

Hal retook his stance, while Huntress climbed back up on her feet. Huntress started backing away slowly from Hal. Hal dashed up to Huntress, but she jumped backwards to gain some distance from Hal.

Huntress landed right in front of the class container with a Boom Tube inside and retook her stance. Hal dashed to Huntress once more, but suddenly Huntress slides down the ground and kicked under Hal's legs, launching him off the ground over her, crying out in surprise before he slammed onto the ground with Huntress retaking her stance.

Quickly; Huntress dashed to Hal's down form and stopped in front of the Yellow Lantern. She took her metal pole into both hands and reared it back as far as she could. The exact moment that Hal got back up, Huntress swung her metal rod with all her strength and hit Yellow Lantern hard.

So hard in fact that he smashed right through the glass container and got sent into the Boom Tube, unwillingly leaving Earth.

(Apokolips)

Yellow Lantern shot right out of the Boom Tube portal and came crashing down on the stone floor of Darkseid's throne room, just a few feet away from the tyrannical ruler seated on his throne.

Seeing the uninvited guess in his throne room, Darkseid rose up from the throne. The tyrannical ruler let out a grunt as he jumped forward. Yellow Lantern got up on his knees, but that was exactly when Darkseid brought his right fist down on Hal's head, forcing him down further on his knees with only his hands keeping him from collapsing completely.

Hal tried to rise up once more, but the tyrannical ruler of Apokolips wasn't done yet. Darkseid threw his left fist up and uppercut Hal, sending him flying into the air. Yellow Lantern began falling to the ground, yet Darkseid jumped forward and grabbed hold of Hal's legs with both hands.

Darksied spun around, crashing Hal through a stone pillar, before throwing him back into the Boom Tube portal, all the while Hal's crying out. Darkseid looked directly at the Boom Tube portal, before letting out an unhuman roar and fired his Omega Beam after the Yellow Lantern.

(Back on Earth)

Outside the Hall of Justice building in the Plaza; a Boom Tube portal appeared a little bit above the ground and Hal came flying right out of it. Darkseid's Omega Beam came right out of the portal and struck Hal, sending him crashing and sliding against the ground with his legs up on the left side.

Hal's legs fell to the ground, and he laid there unmoving for a bit. Meanwhile Huntress appeared out of nowhere across the Yellow Lantern and stopped a few feet away from Hal, retaking her stance. Hal got back up and retook his stance as well.

Yellow Lantern created a yellow energy machine gun through his ring's power and took aim at Huntress. Hal waved the machine gun and fired, landing a direct hit on Huntress. Once Hal's onslaught ended, Huntress took a few steps back before taking her battle pose once more.

Suddenly, Huntress reached down to the Roaming Sentry Bot close to her and pressed the big red button atop of it, activating its self destruction. The Roaming Sentry Bot started beeping like a bomb, before charging forward to Yellow Lantern.

The Roaming Sentry Bot reached Hal and exploded with him taking the full front of it. A shockwave of energy burst out of Hal right before he was blasted off his feet 5 feet away, crashing onto the ground before bouncing off of it. He landed on his front and laid there.

"Eat your heart out, Green Arrow". Huntress said with a smirk as she checked her crossbow out for a moment, before returning it to her belt's sleeve as Yellow Lantern got back up.

Huntress brought out her crossbow and fired a grappling hook. The grappling hook wrapped around Yellow Lantern, immobilizing him, before Huntress turned around, lifted Hal off the ground and slammed him on the ground in front of her. The grappling hook unwrapped around Hal and retracted to the crossbow, before Huntress put it away.

Hal got back up and retook his battle pose. Huntress jumped into the air and landed in front of Hal. The Yellow Lantern thrust his right leg out and kicked Huntress right in the stomach, the force pushing her back. Yellow Lantern wasn't done yet; he threw his left fist forward and punched Huntress across the face, stunning and pushing her back further.

Hal spun around and threw his right foot forward to kick Huntress in the stomach again. However, a wave of energy appeared when Huntress blocked and pushed Hal back, creating a wager between them.

Hal brought up his right fist, yellow ring gleaming a little with energy. "Listen here, you little..." Yellow Lantern began, a clear glare directed at the teenage girl across from him.

Huntress held up her metal pole with both her hands and gave Hal a teasing grin. "I can't hear you!" She cried out in response, causing Hal let out an enraged cry of annoyance as he started flying towards Huntress with his right fist reared back. Huntress gave out her own battle cry as she started charging towards Hal, rearing her metal pole out to the far-right side.

As the two drew closer to one another, Hal spun around and created a Morningstar of yellow and took hold of it with both hands. Once they were close enough; Hal swung the Morningstar while Huntress swung her metal pole forward. The two clashed, causing a burst of energy that spread out like a wave, covering everything from view.

In a mere instant, the wave of energy disappeared to reveal that Huntress was the winner of the clash. Hal was sent crashing into the ground on his back, sliding against it for a bit until he stopped. Huntress brought her metal rode back, followed by retaking her battle stance.

Hal quickly got back up, before holding his right hand up into the air, creating yellow missiles above him. Hal waved his right hand forward and the missiles shot forward to Huntress, but she dodged back jumping back.

The teenage girl landed on her feet safely, before beginning to backing away. Hal started dashing to get closer to Huntress. The teenage girl soon stopped exactly when Hal dashed to her once more. Huntress dropped her stance and threw her left leg out with much of her strength, landing a direct hit on Yellow Lantern and sending him flying off his feet and straight to the Fountain nearby.

Hal crashed into the Fountain and bounced off of it, headed straight for the ground in front of Huntress. The teenage girl swung her metal pole up with both hands, hitting Hal and sending him up into the air once more.

Huntress jumped into the air forward. With perfect timing; she swung her metal pole out when Hal recovered, striking Yellow Lantern and pushing him back a bit. Huntress landed and quickly crouched down, before she struck the middle-aged man's leg with the blunt end of her metal pole, stunning him momentarily.

Hal quickly recovered and brought up his left arm, grabbing hold of Huntress with yellow energy, holding her up in midair. He turned and threw the teenage girl down on the ground hard face first. Hal wasn't done; with a small burst of energy released from him, Yellow Lantern continued his attack.

He turned around and threw his right hand down. The yellow energy lifted Huntress from the ground, turned her over and threw the teenage girl down on the ground so hard that she bounced off of it and into the air.

Hal next created a yellow large ram and held it with both arms, charging forward like a rocket and hit Huntress. The moment that Hal's ram made contact with Huntress; a shockwave of energy erupted before teenage girl was sent crashing onto the ground, bouncing off of it once then came down on her front. Hal's yellow battering ram shattered like glass after making contact with the teenage girl with the Yellow Lantern retaking his stance.

Hal dropped his right arm slight and brought the left one to the right side of his chest. "Just doing my job". He stated, bringing the fist up to his face before taking his stance. Huntress climbed back to her feet and retook the battle stance, still ready to fight.

Hal dashed to Huntress once more, while the teenage girl jumped forward. Huntress locked her legs around Hal's head, before she flipped backwards, placing both hands on the ground and slammed Yellow Lantern to the ground with her legs, letting go of him as she did so, landing in a crouch. Huntress got back up and turned around to face her down opponent.

Hal raised up and took his stance once more. He created another machine gun and fired at Huntress once more, landing direct hits once more. Huntress took two steps back once more before recovering. Hal dashed forward to in front of Huntress and threw his right foot out to kick her in the stomach.

However, Huntress used her cape to block Hal's kick and stopping his assault. Quickly, Huntress swung her metal pole, striking Yellow Lantern's left waist, before twirling around to slam her pole into the fallen hero's right waist.

She followed up by elbowing Hal in the stomach with her left arm, before slamming the back of her fist into the Yellow Lantern's face. The moment her fist made contact with Hal's face, a shockwave went off that that pushed Yellow Lantern off his feet and sent him bouncing across the ground, before he landed face flat on the ground. Huntress meanwhile retook her stance.

(Music end)

Hal rose up, before he fell back to the ground on his knees and slammed the left hand down, holding up the right fist in anger. Huntress dropped her battle stance and rested her metal rod on the right shoulder. The teenage girl gave a mischievous smirk as she placed the left hand on her hip. "Oh, I am SO gonna enjoy this". Huntress stated with an eager grin, before proceeding to walk over to the down Yellow Lantern.

Kablam!

(3 minutes and a half later)

Huntress walked down the hall leading to the command center of the Hall of Justice, pulling the unconscious Yellow Lantern Hal behind by dragging him by the right foot. Not to mention that there was a big red rash on Hal's face in the shape of a straight line.

Huntress looked over to the unconscious man past her left shoulder and winced a little at the rash on his face. "...Maybe I hit him a bit too hard. I'm sure he's gonna be pissed off with me when I'm out of here". The teenager said to herself, before giving a small shrug of the shoulders and faced forward. She's got better things to do than worry about pissing off her friends' counterparts.

Huntress soon reached the door to the Hall of Justice's main bridge where she could access communications, the teleporter's access codes and much more. Huntress's eyes wondered to the last obstacle in her path; the security lock.

"Despite being the so called "untouchable" base of the Regime, at least they kept the security lock. And if it's anything like the one in my dimension, there's only two ways to get in. Enter the code or for one of the top branch to be scanned for clearance". Huntress said to herself, letting go of Hal's leg with it falling to the ground and making a small sound.

"I was originally planning to hack my way inside, but I changed my mind after Hal came in. Now I get to do something I've always wanted". The teenage girl said with a growing excited smile, before looking over to Hal over her left shoulder once more.

Chucking with anticipation, Huntress walked around Hal's unconscious form and stopped behind him. Huntress reached down and grabbed hold of the Yellow Lantern, left hand on his left shoulder and right hand holding the back of Hal's head.

Huntress lifted the Yellow Lantern off the ground, brought him straight up to the security lock and slammed his face right into it. The device scanned Hal's face and gave a sound of approval.

'Access granted'. The security lock's A.I stated, the screen displaying the words "override". The door opened automatically for Huntress and the unconscious Yellow Lantern, revealing the command center.

"Haha!" Huntress laughed out in triumph, letting go of Hal and he collapsed completely on his front. "Just like in that Fast and Furious movie that Dick took me to watch that one time. Too bad I don't have anyone to compete against here". The teenage girl said to herself, reaching down and grabbed hold of Hal's hair with her right hand.

She walked straight into the room, dragging Hal with her. She let go of him once she was 3 feet away from the main computer, before bringing both hands up. "Okay Clark, let's see what dirty little secrets you're hiding here". Huntress said with a mischievous grin, stretching her fingers out before bringing them down to the keyboard.

A good few minutes passed since Huntress began and she hasn't made any good discoveries. Almost all the criminals that the Regime capture were all put to death without mercy, or sent to Striker's Island and the place was more fortified than Huntress' version.

Even records of dead heroes, ones that were killed before the Regime's creation and those that were killed by Regime members were present. Even information of former criminals that were now members of the Regime were in there as well. Huntress let out a mentally exhausted sigh at the rather "useless" information she's finding.

"I can't find anything here! Don't tell me that all the more important information's on the Watchtower!? No way in heck, Hell, or whatever that place where sinners go when they die is called, am I going up there on my own! I may be adventurous and confident in my skills, but I'm not stupid to go picking a fight with little chance of me winning!" Huntress exclaimed with an unhappy frown on her face, paying no heed to Hal's groaning behind her.

The Yellow Lantern was beginning to regain consciousness from getting knocked out by Huntress' metal rod. He slowly raised up on his feet, right hand resting on his face where the rash was. "Uhhh... What happened?" He questioned with a weak voice, lifting moving the hand away from his face. His mind was foggy and he couldn't remember what exactly happened.

Kablam!

Huntress, without even looking, punched Hal right in the face with her right fist. The force of the punch blasted Hal off his feet and he crashed on the ground 5 feet away on his back, legs up. Gravity kicked in as Hal's legs fell to the ground, no sign of movement whatsoever from the Yellow Lantern as he was knocked unconscious once more.

Huntress brought her right fist up to her face and stared down at it with narrowed eyes. "..." The teenage girl thought deeply on whatever could be used against the Regime or Superman. At the thought of the Man of Steel, Huntress blinked upon remembering a dangerous weakness that Superman has.

Deciding to see if there's any information about that special weakness, Huntress returned her attention to the computer screen in front of her and began typing away on the keyboard. "Let's see if Superman kept any Kryptonite around or destroyed any he came across". The teenage girl said to herself, curious to learn what Superman did with his most dangerous weakness.

It took 2 minutes before Huntress found anything on Kryptonite and what she learned surprised her. "So, there's a whole stash of Kryptonite here in the Hall of Justice, huh? That's a bit surprising to learn. I would have thought that Superman would have his lackeys destroy all traces of Kryptonite without hesitation. Maybe they use them to power something or whatever, but doesn't matter to me. This is a perfect chance to increase our chances of victory". Huntress said to herself, starting to grow a grin.

The grin quickly fell at finding out there was a deep lock on the vault where the Kryptonite was. "I guess it would be too much to ask that they were full of themselves and leave it without a password. Guess they're not that full of themselves". Huntress said to herself, looking over to Hal over her left shoulder once more.

"I can't afford to stay for long for 2 reasons. Hal's gonna wake up soon and will pick a fight with me again. And if it takes too long, more Regime members will probably teleport in and I don't want to be running into anyone else, especially this universe's Wonder Woman". The teenage girl said to herself, eyes wondering to Hal's Yellow Lantern ring.

Huntress turned her face around with a sly grin on her face. "I just got a wonderful idea to screw with this Hal even more. A little game of hide and seek". She said to herself, before crackling a little evilly. Huntress turned away from the computer and walked over to Hal's unconscious body, stopping right in front of it.

Huntress got down on her right knee and grabbed hold of Hal's right arm. She brought the arm up, before taking hold of the Yellow Ring with her left hand's thumb and index fingers, slipping it off Hal's finger. The moment that Hal's ring came off, the Yellow Lantern uniform disappeared and leaving Hal in his normal clothes. He has a brown long sleeve zipped up jacket over a green shirt, a dark brown bet over blue jeans and brown boots.

Huntress raised an eyebrow at seeing Hal's appearance, before giving a shrug of the shoulders. She then looked down at the Yellow Lantern ring she's holding, before tossing it into the air and caught it with her hand. "I still don't get how a little piece of jewelry gives someone so much power". The young Justice League member said to herself, putting Hal's Yellow Lantern ring away in one of her mini bags.

Huntress walked past Hal's unconscious form and down the hall. It took a good total of 5 minutes of looking around until she eventually found the safe. A surprise came to her at seeing that it was actually created out of green kryptonite.

Huntress gazed up at the very large green kryptonite safe with wide eyes, before letting out a wolf whistle. "Well, they're serious about keeping that stuff locked up. Not gonna stop me though". She said with a confident voice, tilting her head down to the digital push button lock and wheel combination.

"It's at times like these that it really pays off to have the top equipment that Wayne Tech provides". Huntress said with a grin, walking right up to the digit combination and stopped right in front of it. She looked down to her left waist at the purple bag attached to her utility belt. She opened it with her right hand and placed the left one inside of it.

Huntress brought up her left hand and stared at the device she's holding. It was a hand size round purple coloured device. It was a device that Huntress' mother had her father built whenever they came across a "supposed" impenetrable lock and break it down flat. Bruce didn't approve of creating such a device, but gave in after Selena "persuaded" him.

Huntress moved her left hand forward and brought the device to the push button lock, placing it there with the device locking on, covering the push button lock completely. Huntress let go and took 3 steps back, crossing both arms as she watched the device did its magic.

The purple device lit up in a bright light, followed by electricity coming off of it. It was like that for 10 whole seconds until the electricity disappeared and the device stopped glowing. Huntress wordlessly walked up and grabbed hold of the Wayne Tech device and pulled it off, revealing the push button screen displaying a random code, the one that unlocked the kryptonite safe.

Huntress put the device away back in her bag, before walking over to the wheel combination. She grabbed hold of one of the wheel's levers and pulled with all her strength, letting go as she did so. The wheel spined for 8 seconds straight until eventually stopping with a loud "click" sound going off.

Huntress gave the safe's door a small push with her left hand, pushing it open and revealing a mountain load of green Kryptonite inside. The teenage girl let out a loud wolf whistle at seeing the motherload. "Okay, now THIS is worth risking breaking into the Hall of Justice for. It's a bit of a shame I can't take all of it, but beggars can't be choosers". Huntress said with a pleased grin, right hand wondering over to one of her mini bags attached to the utility belt.

Opening the mini bag, Huntress reached and grabbed something inside before pulling it out. It was a purple coloured capsule small enough to be held in someone's hand with the Wayne Tech logo on it.

Huntress immediately pressed down on the capsule's button, before tossing it over her shoulder. The capsule hit the ground and laid there for a second until...

Kaboom!

The capsule exploded into a small purple smoke cloud. It quickly cleared to reveal a large pitch-black metal briefcase with a purple button underneath the handle. This was a new invention that Huntress created with Wayne technology and some help from Cyborg. It was inspired from a shonen anime that Huntress often watches back home. She created it incase she ever needed to "borrow" something from someone and needed space to carry it.

She calls this little invention of hers the "Huntress Advance Capsule Case".

Huntress looked at the black metal briefcase past her right shoulder, before turning around completely and walked over to it. Once she was right in front of the metal briefcase, Huntress got down on her right knee and flipped the locks off. She opened the briefcase with her right hand, revealing it completely empty inside.

"Now, let's get collecting". Huntress said with a sly voice, clapping her hands together and rubbed them. She climbed back up to her feet, turning around and walked straight into the safe full of Kryptonite, eager to bring some back to the Insurgent base back in Gotham.

It took a total of 30 minutes until Huntress filled her briefcase completely to the point she can't take anymore green Kryptonite. Huntress closed her metal briefcase, flipped the locks on then pressed the purple button with her right hand's index finger.

Kaboom!

Purple smoke appeared and covered the briefcase for 3 seconds. When the smoke cleared, the purple capsule laid on the ground in the briefcase's place. Huntress grabbed hold of the capsule with her right hand and put it away in the same mini bag as before. Once done, Huntress' left hand went to the other mini bag on the left side and opened it.

The teenage girl brought out Hal's Yellow Lantern ring from the bag and held it up. Huntress looked over to the open vault for a moment, before looking back at the ring she's holding. 'I've half a mind to write something on this ring to take another jab at this universe's Hal, but I think this should be enough for now". Huntress said to herself, deciding that she's done enough messing around with her uncle's counterpart and leave him be.

Huntress tossed the Yellow Lantern ring into the kryptonite safe, before walking up to the safe's open door. She grabbed hold of the lever and pulled the door in, closing the safe. Huntress took 2 steps back from the safe, before she dusted her hands off.

"Well, now that that's all done I should probably get as far away from here as possible. I've pushed my luck more than enough today". The teenage girl stated, looking to her left first and then to the right. Seeing the coast was clear for now, Huntress turned around and began heading straight for the Hall of Justice's exit; done with her own mission and now returning to base.

(Meanwhile in the other universe)

Superman, Catwoman, Flash and Cyborg sat around the round table, the half human and half machine typing away on the table's chart. Above the table was a holographic screen, displaying two worlds, one blue and the other yellow. Around it were smaller holographic screens as well, displaying other things concerning their situation.

The two worlds on the screen came together, a sight that made Catwoman frown. They've finally figured out what had happened to their friends and it was not what she had been expecting at all. 'A parallel universe? You've got to be kidding me'. Selina thought to herself with a sigh, holding her face with both hands with the elbows against the table.

"So you found them. A parallel dimension... Now, how do we get there?" Superman questioned, looking over to Cyborg for an answer. They had very little experience with dimension travel, didn't even had a means to travel to different dimensions.

"We don't". Flash answered as he raised his right hand, grabbing the attention of both Superman and Catwoman as they looked over to him. "We pull them here". The fastest man alive added, bringing his right hand down as if he were pointing at the ground.

"No risk to an away team... Good". Superman stated, turning back to the holographic screen displaying the two worlds. "That still leaves the problem of how we're gonna do that". Catwoman spoke up, lifting her face from her hands and leaned back a little on the chair.

"Selina's right. We still need to figure out how we'll bring them back". Superman remarked, turning to look at Cyborg once more for an answer. "With this". The Justice League/Teen Titan member answered, reaching down to the chart with his right hand and pressed away a little.

The holographic screen disappeared and was replaced with a virtual blue data copy of Flash's Cosmic Treadmill. "We're gonna modify my Cosmic Treadmill. Pull them back at once". Flash explained their plan of action on how to bring their friends back. Superman stared at the blue data Cosmic Treadmill in thought, while Catwoman didn't look so confident.

'I got a bad feeling about this. Dimension travel is way out of our area of expertise, but it's the only option we have right now'. The adult woman thought to herself, deciding to trust in her fellow Justice League teammates. The sooner she was back with her family, the better.

"We've got some work to do". Cyborg stated, looking over to Superman with the Man of Steel nodding in agreement. It will be tricky, but they will succeed and bring their friends back home.

(Back in the Injustice universe)

Huntress walked into the empty street of Metropolis, head tilted up and looking at the night sky above her. With her safe escape from the Hall of Justice half an hour ago; she's free of Regime trouble and was making her way back to the Insurgent base in Gotham.

Huntress closed both eyes and let out a sigh of relief, even dropping her shoulders slightly. "Well, that was an adventure that I won't be forgetting anytime soon. I've pushed my luck more than enough for one day, and I'm not gonna push it anymore". The teenage girl said to herself, mentally exhausted with her day so far. She really looked forward to regrouping with the others back in Gotham and rest.

At the thought of the others; Huntress looked down at the mini bag that had her invention inside safely. "I'm probably gonna get an earful from them all for breaking into the Hall of Justice on my own. Still, the green Kryptonite should help us out with preparing against Superman. All the trouble better prove to be worth it". She said with a small grin, seeing her rather dangerous self-mission worth the trouble.

Huntress lifted her head to face forward, no plans of stopping until she's safely away in Gotham again. "I hope everyone else managed to get the Kryptonite weapon from home. If not, I netter tell them all about my plan B". Huntress added, before blinking upon noticing a few feet away in front of her.

A sort of purple magic circle had appeared on the ground, a different kind of magic that Huntress has ever seen before in her life. Huntress gave a small groan of annoyance, stopping in her tracks and took a single step back with her left leg. "Oh, now what?" The teenager groaned out, bringing her shoulders up and knees apart. A lot of unnatured stuff has happened to her lately, and they were all bad. So she had her doubts that this one was gonna be all different.

The purple magic circle spread a thin glow from itself up in the air. Then without warning, it suddenly burst into a bright purple light that forced Huntress to shut her eyes and cover them with her right forearm. Fortunately it only lasted for a second or two before quickly dying down.

Huntress lowered her arm and opened both eyes to see what happened; only to see a person standing exactly where the magic circle was with their back to the teenager.

The person was some sort of ninja assassin man around the same height as Batman. He wore black and yellow outfit with armor, boots, gauntlets and two swords on his back. He also had what appeared to be a black hood or something on his head, covering his appearance. (Injustice appearance.)

Huntress blinked at the unknown man in bewilderment, wondering where'd he come from exactly. 'Who the heck is this guy?' The Justice League member mentally wondered, no clue who this stranger was since she's never seen anyone like him before.

The stranger seemed just as surprised as Huntress, the proof was him looking to his left and right urgently. "What has happened? Where am I?" He questioned with some sort of echo with his voice, further increasing Huntress' surprise. The number of people she knows about with echos in their voices could be counted on one hand, and it usually meant that the person was "different" from others.

"SUB-ZERO!" The man suddenly shouted out, taking Huntress by surprise and even taking another step back. The sound of her footsteps caught the mysterious man's attention as he turned around to face Huntress fully. The teenage girl let out a low shark gasp at what she saw.

The man's face was covered in a mask of sorts both for his mouth and upper face. The eyes, however, were the most attention-grabbing detail of all. They were pure white without any other colour. There were irises, but they were pure white as well. It was unlike anything that Huntress has ever seen before.

'This guy... is he even human?' Huntress mentally questioned herself. She's met a few aliens and other world creatures, but this man in front of her was something else from all the others.

"You! Girl, where am I?!" The man demanded with a deadly serious voice. He then looked up at the skyscrapers above and the sky. "Is this Earthrealm? Or Orderrealm?" He questioned, turning back to look at Huntress once he finished speaking.

The teenage girl raised an eyebrow at what she had just been asked. 'Earthrealm? Orderrealm? What's this guy going on about?' Huntress thought to herself, utterly confused right now. She's heard of many places and planets, but not once has she ever heard of "Earthrealm" or "Orderrealm" before in her life.

"I don't know any "Earthrealm" or "Orderrealm", this planet is Earth. And you're in Metropolis right now". Huntress answered the strange man, earning a confused look from the man. "Metropolis?" He questioned with a deep frown, feeling a strange sense of familiarity with the name.

The man suddenly grunted in pain, right hand going straight to his head and grabbed hold of it. The sight filled Huntress with concern for his wellbeing. "Are you okay? What's wrong?" She asked in concern, reaching out to the unknown man with her right hand. Huntress didn't know this man, but that didn't mean she did not care about his safety.

The unknown man gave no response to Huntress, just continued to hold his head and groan in pain. "Metropolis... This is the place where I... fought that man called... Superman..." He said in pain, as if simply remembering the memory hurt his head. Yet what he said captured Huntress' full attention, specifically the part of him fighting Superman.

"You fought Superman? Who are you anyway?" The Justice League member questioned, wanting to know the identity of this unknown man. Only a handful of people could fight the Man of Steel and survive, so to hear this stranger fought Superman was impressive.

The unknown man suddenly stopped groaning. He remained perfectly still and silent for 5 seconds until he let go of his own head. He lifted his head to look directly at Huntress and gave a deep glare at her. "I am... Scorpion!" He roared out, raising both his head and both hands.

Huntress let out a sharp gasp at Scorpion, eyes wide as bowling balls and clear disbelief in them. She knows about Scorpion from her favorite tale that her parents told her when she was a child. When the Justice League had just defeated Darkseid and saved Metropolis from destruction, only for an even greater threat to come forth.

A threat known as Dark Kahn, a creature that was creation from Darkseid and another tyrannical ruler known as Shao Kahn. Their realm and another realm were being forcefully merged together by Dark Kahn, threatening to destroy all life in the two realms. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Shazam, Joker, Lex Luther and Deahtstroke battled against the other realm's mightiest warriors, led by a thunder god named Raiden, thinking they were servants of Dark Kahn.

In the final battle, the two realms' warriors fought each other under a power known as the "Kombat Rage" that controlled them. Batman had gotten through to Superman when he was being controlled and he went off to fight Dark Kahn.

In Dark Kahn's castle, Superman had one final fight against Raiden and was the victor, but the thunder god refused to stay down. Dark Kahn appeared before they could continue their battle, rambling on how their kombat was hastes the merging of the realms.

Superman had enough of Dark Kahn's rambling and went to fight him, leaving a shocked Raiden. The Man of Steel underestimated the monster's strength and was powerless against him. Raiden intervened and saved Superman from Dark Kahn. The two cleared the misunderstanding they had of each other and realized Dark Kahn was both their enemy.

They fought the Kombat Rage's control and battled Dark Kahn together. Alone they couldn't win, but together they defeated Dark Kah and saved their realms. The price though was that they realms separated almost immediately and nobody had a chance to say goodbye to each other. Not even Superman and Raiden.

However, Dark Kahn's destruction brought back the two that created him; Darkseid and Shao Kahn. For some reason however, Shao Kahn was in the wrong realm and everyone presumed Darkseid was in the other one. The Justice League took Shao Kahn away and imprisoned him.

One day however, somehow Shao Kahn disappeared without a trace and Darkseid returned. After that, there was never any other contact with that realm again. There was still many surrounding those strange events. One of them was that one day, things changed for everyone involved in those events.

The best way to describe it would be like a game reset and events took a different turn. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Shazam, Joker, Lex Luther and Deahtstroke all forgot about the incident, then suddenly remembered them. It was very confusing because there was no mention of those events, or the devastation that Darkseid caused Metropolis.

They all decided to stop investigating the matter and continue their lives. Bruce and Selina often told her bedtime stories of those events and the warriors from another realm they fought. Huntress greatly liked those stories and used to wish that she could one day meet the thunder god Raiden and his warriors one day. That wish soon died as she grew and realized how dangerous it would be if the two universes attempted to merge.

But now here she was; face-to-face with one of the mightiest warriors of the realm that Raiden came from. Someone that was able to defeat Wonder Woman, Joker and even Superman himself; Scorpion.

"I... I thought you were just a story". Huntress stuttered, very unsure and hesitant right now from learning Scorpion's identity. Traveling to a parallel universe was one thing on its own, but Scorpion's appearance could be a bad omen. The two realms could be under threat of merging again, or maybe Dark Kahn had somehow return. Adding parallel universe to that threat could make an even more dangerous situation.

Scorpion frowned at what the teenage girl said. "A story?! Insolent child! For your insolence, I will end your life right here!" The black and yellow armoured ninja exclaimed, beginning walking over to Huntress in a threatening manner. Something that made the girl break into a nervous sweat, before holding up both hands in peace.

"W-wait, please! I'm not your enemy, Scorpion! My parents just used to tell me about you in bedtime stories, that's all!" Huntress cried out, not wanting to risk fighting such a dangerous man that could defeat the Man of Steel.

Scorpion stopped in his tracks just a few feet away from Huntress, a deep frown on his covered face after what he just learned. "Your parents?" The ninja questioned, which Huntress gave a nod of her head. "That's right! You know them, well my dad more than my mum". Huntress answered, lowering both hands before she gave a formal bow to Scorpion.

"Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Helena Wayne, but I'm commonly known as Huntress. My mother is Catwoman and my dad is Batman". Huntress introduced herself with a proud voice, forever proud of her heritage and using it to always have a reason to improve.

"...!" Scorpion widened both eyes in surprise at what Huntress said, before groaning in pain as his head began aching once more. "...Bat...man..." He groaned out, grabbing hold of his head with the right hand in an effort to null the pain. Images, memories that both were and weren't his were appearing out of nowhere and assaulting him.

The battle against Shao Kahn, the realms beginning to merge, him teleporting to Batman's cave and fighting him, and much more. Scorpion let out a frustrated growl as he shook his head, snapping himself out of it. He lifted his head and glared at the teenage girl.

"This is all a trick! All these memories I'm experiencing are fake, they must be!" The black and yellow armoured ninja shouted out in rage, before turning to Huntress and glared at her with deadly hostility. "You! You must be behind all of this! You must be the one that's taken me from my victory and behind these false memories!" Scorpion exclaimed, pointing at the teenage girl with his left hand's index finger accursedly.

Huntress narrowed her eyes in concentration, eyes focusing on Scorpion's eyes. 'His eyes aren't glowing bright yellow and the echo in his voice isn't intensifying. He's not under the control of that so called "Kombat Rage". This is just his own aggression'. The young girl thought to herself, seeing no signs of the Kombat Rage her parents told her about.

Scorpion brought his left hand in and turned it into a fist. "Return me to Outland now, child..." The black and white ninja began, red flames briefly appearing around his left fist before disappearing.

(Play Injustice: Gods Among Us - Metropolis song (Street/Rooftop/Museum)

"Or lose your life!" Scorpion finished, taking a Kombat stance with his right fist raised and left hand slightly lowered. Wordlessly, Huntress brought out her extended metal pole and took her own stance.

The first one to make a move was Huntress. The teenage girl brought out her crossbow again and fired an armored arrow at the ground in front Scorpion. The arrow beeped 3 times, yet before it could explode, Scorpion backed away with flames appearing over him before he disappeared right as the arrow exploded.

Scorpion somehow reappeared in a leap behind Huntress with flames over his fists. He struck the girl and almost pushed her off her feet, yet Huntress managed to keep her footing with the right foot. Scorpion dashed in front of Huntress and uppercut her underneath the chin with his left fist, launching Huntress into the air with a cry of pain.

Huntress began to fall to the ground, but that was when Scorpion suddenly threw his left hand forward and a kunai attached to a rope seemingly came out of his wrist. It stabbed Huntress right in the stomach right as she was about to crash, effectively causing her to land on both feet but was stunned completely. "Get over here!" Scorpion roared out with a demonic voice, pulling on the rope and forcefully pulling Huntress to him.

The kunai came out of Huntress' stomach as she stumbled on her feet, returning to Scorpion's left wrist. With a burst of energy coming out of him, Scorpion reared his right fist back with flames appearing over it. A mere second later, he threw his right fist in a right cross and struck Huntress across the face, blasting the girl off her feet and soaring 10 feet away.

Huntress crashed onto the ground and bounced off of it into the air. Scorpion didn't waste this opportunity and jumped up in front of the airborne teenager. He drew his swords and swung them on Huntress, drawing blood from the girl.

Quick as the Flash himself, Scorpion sheathed his blades before reaching out and grabbed hold of Huntress. With his right hand holding the back of Huntress' head, Scorpion spun around and threw Huntress down hard on the ground.

Huntress landed on her back, her feet up in the air before falling to the ground. Scorpion landed on his feet unharmed, battle stance in place. Huntress got back up on her feet and retook her stance.

Scorpion suddenly fell to the ground and kick his feet out to Huntress' legs, but she jumped forward over the ninja, succesfully dodging. At the exact same time; Huntress landed on her feet and Scorpion got back on his feet before the two turned to face one another.

Scorpion dashed to Huntress, but she jumped back to underneath the Hovering Car. Scorpion, with a burst of energy of energy released, brought his hands down and began to raise them with flames appearing from his hands. Right underneath Huntress, a circle of fire appeared underneath, but she jumped backwards again just in time to dodge.

In midair, Huntress brought out a detonator from her utility belt and placed it on the Hovering Car. Huntress fell to the ground safely on her feet, while Scorpion lowered his hands. The detonator beeped a few times, before it and the Hovering Car both exploded with a single large piece shooting forward and crashed down on Scorpion, crashing him to the ground on his back.

Scorpion laid still for a second or two, until he got back up and retook his stance. Huntress dashed to Scorpion then jumped up in front of him, before she locked her legs around the black and yellow ninja's head.

Huntress flipped backwards before she slammed Scorpion to the ground with her legs and landed on her hands, metal pole still in hand. Huntress front flipped onto her feet and took her stance. She quickly turned around and dashed to the fallen Scorpion, before she took her metal pole into both hands and reared it back as far as she could.

The exact moment that Scorpion got back up, Huntress swung her metal rod with all her strength and hit the yellow and black ninja hard. The force blasted Scorpion off his feet and sent him flying away. He crashed into the ground and bounced off of it into the air.

Huntress jumped up to the airborne ninja and reached out with her left hand, grabbing hold of Scorpion. Huntress leaned backwards and pulled Scorpion with her, flipping over to her atop of him. With gravity kicking in and Huntress' weight atop him, Scorpion fell and crashed into the ground on his back with Huntress atop him in a crouch.

The teenage girl jumped back 5 feet away, landing on her feet and retaking the battle stance. Scorpion quickly got back up and retook his stance. Scorpion backed away with flames appearing over him before he disappeared. Scorpion reappeared in a leap behind Huntress with flames over his fists and struck the girl, pushing her back yet Huntress kept on her feet.

Huntress suddenly slides down the ground and kicked under Scorpion's legs, launching him off the ground, crying out in surprise before he slammed onto the ground while Huntress got back up, turned around and retook her stance.

Scorpion got back up and turned to face Huntress again. Scorpion suddenly threw his left hand forward and the kunai attached to the rope came out of his wrist. It stabbed Huntress right in the stomach, stunning the girl completely with her grunting in pain. "Come here!" Scorpion roared out with a demonic voice, pulling on the rope and forcefully pulling Huntress to him.

The kunai came out of Huntress' stomach and returned to Scorpion's left wrist. The black and yellow ninja let out an enraged cry, his body releasing a wave of flames that hit Huntress. She gave a painful cry as she was burned. Scorpion drew his right sword and swung it down to Huntress' feet.

However, a wave of energy appeared when Huntress blocked and pushed Scorpion back with the burns around her disappearing, creating a wager between them.

Huntress held up her metal pole with both her hands, a confident grin married to her young face. "Bring it on!" The young Justice League member exclaimed without a shred of fear.

Scorpion glared at Huntress with open hostility, lifting his clenched right fist up. "For my family and clan!" The black and white ninja exclaimed, refusing to back down on this wager.

Huntress let out a battle cry as she started charging towards Hal, rearing her metal pole out to the far-right side. Scorpion stood up straight and crossed both arms over his torso in a cross, before transforming into flames and sunk into the ground. The transformed ninja let out a cry of his own as the flames on the ground moved forward, headed straight for Huntress.

The two drew closer to one another. Once they were close enough; Huntress swung her metal pole forward and Scorpion erupted out of the flames and thrust his right fist up in an uppercut. The two clashed, causing a burst of energy that spread out like a wave, covering everything from view.

In a mere instant, the wave of energy disappeared to reveal that neither side was the winner. Both Huntress and Scorpion were pushed away from each other, skidding against the ground in crouches and their hands down on the ground. They slowed down until they stopped once they're a good distance from each other.

Both fighters rose up and took their battle stances once more. Scorpion backed away with flames appearing over him before he disappeared. Scorpion reappeared in a leap behind Huntress with flames over his fists. He swung his fist down on Huntress, but she was prepared this time.

She quickly turned around and grabbed hold of her cape with her left hand, using it to block and stop Scorpion. Quickly, Huntress swung her metal pole, striking Scorpion's left waist, before twirling around to slam her pole into the yellow and black ninja's right waist. She followed up by elbowing Scorpion in the stomach with her left elbow, before slamming the back of her fist into his face.

The moment Huntress' fist made contact, a shockwave of energy burst out of Scorpion right before he was blasted off his feet 5 feet away, crashing onto the ground before bouncing off of it. He landed on his front and laid there.

"Eat your heart out, Green Arrow". Huntress said with a smirk as she checked her crossbow out for a moment, before returning it to her belt's sleeve. Scorpion got back up and took his stance once more.

Huntress out her crossbow and fired a grappling hook at Scorpion, but the black and yellow ninja jumped forward and dodged masterfully. He landed right in front of Huntress, before somehow black flipping off the ground and into with flames surrounding his feet, flip kicking Huntress right in the jar.

A shockwave of energy burst out of Huntress the moment of contact, before getting sent flying off her feet. Scorpion skillfully landed on his feet, while Huntress crash and bounce off the ground before landing on her front and stayed there.

Scorpion drew both swords and held them both in the air. "Now you burn!" He exclaimed, swinging his swords in front of him once before sheathing them on his back once more.

Huntress got back up her feet and took the stance once more. This battle between the two fighters wasn't over just yet, it will reach its climax soon.

Scorpion made the first move; he jumped forward into the air to Huntress and drew his swords to swung them down at her. Yet the teenage girl dashed backwards and dodged Scorpion's swords.

The yellow and black ninja quickly sheathed his blades before he landed, and Huntress went on the attack. Huntress dashed to Scorpion, striking his stomach with the end of her pole, before she lifted it up and slammed it into Scorpion's chin, launching him into the air. Scorpion crashed down on his back, but quickly recovered and got back up, taking his stance.

Huntress suddenly slides down the ground and attempted to kick under Scorpion's feet, but the ninja jumped up into the air, resulting in the teenage girl failing and passing by.

Scorpion landed on his feet, before quickly turning around. With perfect timing as Huntress got back up, Scorpion threw his left hand forward and the kunai attached to the rope came out of his wrist. It stabbed Huntress right in the stomach when she turned around, stunning the girl completely with her grunting in pain. "Come here!" Scorpion roared out with a demonic voice, pulling on the rope and forcefully pulling Huntress to him.

Once she was close enough and his kunai returned to him, Scorpion flip kicked Huntress in the jar once more, knocking her off her feet and spinning into the air. Scorpion landed on his feet masterfully, while Huntress crashed landed. She quickly got back up though.

Scorpion let out an enraged cry, bringing his hands up with flames appearing over them. Right underneath Huntress, a circle of fire appeared underneath. Huntress dashed forward just in time to avoid a pillar of flames erupting out of the circle, stopping right in front of Scorpion.

Huntress reached out with her left hand and grabbed hold of him. She brought him close, before she took hold of her metal pole and swung it twice, hitting him on the face twice. Huntress spun left as she swung her pole below Scorpion's feet, knocking him off balance as he began to fall backwards, but the teenage girl wasn't finished yet as she kicked his back with her left foot, sending him sliding across the ground.

Scorpion got back up, backed away with flames appearing over him before he disappeared. Scorpion reappeared in a leap behind Huntress with flames over his fists. He swung his fist down on Huntress, landing a hit and pushing her back.

Scorpion attempted to flip kick Huntress once more, but she couched down on her knees and blocked it with her metal pole. Scorpion landed in front of Huntress and she stuck the end of her metal pole out, kicking Scorpion right on the leg and stunning him.

Huntress stood up fully, then swung her metal pole upwards, kicking Scorpion and sending him spinning backwards into the air until he crashed down on his front. The black and yellow ninja quickly got back up on his feet, before both fighters jumped forward to each other.

Before Huntress had the chance to strike first, Scorpion thrust his right fist out and struck the teenage girl. Huntress grunted in pain, the force of the punch immobilizing her in the air for 2 seconds while Scorpion landed on the ground safely.

Huntress began to fall, and Scorpion quickly acted. He let out a cry as he thrust his left foot up, then brought it down on the falling Huntress, resulting in her crashing down hard with the force bouncing the girl off the ground.

Scorpion continued his assault on the airborne Huntress; he dashed forward then swung his left fist. He thrust his right fist down on Huntress, pushing her further back and further up in the air. Scorpion waved his left hand up and flames came right out, hitting Huntress once more.

Scorpion backed away with flames appearing over him before he disappeared. Scorpion reappeared in a leap behind Huntress and struck her with a flaming fist. Scorpion quickly landed on his feet, before kicking out twice with his right foot, continuing his assault and damaging Huntress further.

The barrage of attacks have kept Huntress from hitting the ground and Scorpion wasn't done just yet. "Come here!" Scorpion growled out with a demon voice, throwing his left hand forward and the kunai attached to the rope shot out of his wrist.

It stabbed Huntress right in the stomach right as she was about to crash, effectively causing her to land on both feet but was stunned completely. Scorpion pulled on the rope and forcefully pulling Huntress to him. The teenage girl stumbled forward to her opponent and once she was right in front of him, Scorpion thrust a flaming left fist in an uppercut, shooting the girl off her feet and away from him a good distance.

Huntress crashed down on her back, while Scorpion dashed forward. The black and yellow ninja jumped into the air in a roll exactly when Huntress got back up on her feet. Scorpion drew one of his two swords and swung it down at Huntress, intending to continue his barrage, but Huntress has had enough.

With a burst of purple energy around her, Huntress gave out a cry as she spun her metal pole around her right arm before taking hold of it with both her hands. Huntress swung her metal pole at Scorpion, landing a direct hit with him somehow landing on his feet.

Scorpion stumbled back a few feet, and that was when Huntress threw her weapon at the ninja's face. The metal pole struck Scorpion's face, before it launched into the air.

Huntress brought out her crossbow with her left hand and fired three different arrows at Scorpion. The first made an explosion when it made contact, the second unleashed a supersonic boom that pushed the ninja back and the last one pierced his armor. Huntress then aimed her crossbow at her airborne metal pole and fired the grappling arrow at it. The grappling arrow wrapped around the metal pole, before Huntress began moving her left hand around, swinging her metal pole at Slade like a whip and struck him twice.

Huntress then swung her crossbow down, perfectly stabbing her metal pole's end into the ground, before the grappling arrow unwrapped around it and returned to her crossbow. The 15-year-old female returned her crossbow to her belt's sleeve, before she began cart whirling towards her metal pole. Once Huntress was close enough, she launched herself in the air.

While spinning in midair, Huntress grabbed her metal pole with both her hands and pulled it out the ground. She gave out a cry as she front flipped and slammed the end of her weapon on top of Scorpion's face, sending him sliding across the ground while Huntress gracefully landed on her feet and retook her stance.

(Music end)

A sort of wave of energy burst out of Scorpion's body, before he raised up to his feet. Almost immediately, he fell to his knees in defeat with both hands hanging at the sides. Huntress began panting out of breath, taking hold of her metal pole with both hands. She placed the end of it down on the ground, before laying her head against it.

"Haa... haa... Wow... I can... haa... confidently say now... haa... that dad and the others weren't... haa... exaggerating about how strong you are". Huntress panted with a tired smile. All these fights and traveling around has taken a lot out of her. The fight with Scorpion especially since he's someone she's never fought before and had no idea what to expect.

"..." Scorpion rose up to his feet, staring at Huntress in silence for a few moments until he eventually spoke. "You're incredibly skilled for one so young. Your parents have trained you well, Huntress". The black and yellow ninja stated, crossing both arms as he spoke.

Huntress grew a proud smile from Scorpion's words. She lifted her head from the metal pole and faced Scorpion with that proud smile. "It wasn't just my parents that helped me become this strong. It's thanks to the people that I consider my family as well. I became stronger thanks to their support and training". Huntress told Scorpion with pure conviction in her voice, speaking from the very heart.

Scorpion grew silent at the teenage girl's words, just silently staring at her for a good few moments. "...You don't give yourself enough credit. You also played a hand in reaching the level of strength you possess". The black and yellow ninja told Huntress, earning a laugh that's a mix of happiness and nervousness.

"I get that alot. I'm not trying to neglect my efforts, I just really believe their support is what pushed me to train so hard". Huntress said with an embarrassed voice, acting like a normal 15-year-old embarrassed girl right now. "...Hmph..." Scorpion crossed both arms with an unamused face.

The two were silent for a good 10 seconds until Huntress eventually broke the silence. She dropped her amused face and gave Scorpion a serious frown. "So, you're not gonna try to kill me anymore?" She questioned the black and yellow ninja, lifting her metal pole off the ground and took a stance with it in both hands. She was doing this merely to be prepared to defend herself if Scorpion attacked again.

Fortunately for the tired teenage girl, Scorpion shook his head. "No, I will not. You're my only guide in this world, so killing you will be nothing more than a mistake". Scorpion answered Huntress, much to her great relief. She let out a deep sigh and dropped both hands.

"Thank God for that". Huntress stated, getting down to sit on the ground over her cape, all to rest her legs for a bit. She pressed the metal pole's button to return it to its rod form, before putting it away.

"As we were fighting, more of my memories of the incident between our two realms returned. But still, it doesn't make sense". Scorpion spoke with a confused voice, looking away to the right with a deep glare. The ninja's words captured Huntress' full attention as she gazed up at him with a curious face.

"What do you mean? What doesn't make sense?" The young Justice League member questioned, curious to know what is stressing Scorpion out so much. Her father, Superman and Wonder Woman told her that Scorpion was quick to anger, but never someone so easily stressed.

Scorpion let out a growl as he began pacing back and forth. "When Dark Kahn appeared, the Mortal Kombat Tournament had ended, and Shak Kahn's invasion failed! Yet the tournament is still taking place and I had almost ended Sub-Zero! And Shao Kahn's invasion hasn't begun yet! Just what in the Hell is going on here?! It's like I have knowledge and experience of the future, a future that isn't my own!" The black and yellow ninja said with frustration, paying no mind to Huntress watching him.

Huntress lowered her head in thought and crossed both arms. What Scorpion just said was confusing, just like what her parents and friends experienced. 'So it wasn't just with this side, but the other universe as well. This whole thing is just confusing! Did someone somehow restart the timeline or something?' The 15-year-old girl mentally questioned, right eyebrow twitching in irritation as she tried to think of an answer yet failing to.

Scorpion suddenly stopped pacing around and turned to Huntress. "And now; somehow our realms are connecting once more. Does this mean that Dark Kahn has returned?" He questioned, snapping the girl out of her thoughts. Huntress looked over to the ninja and shook her head in denial.

"I don't think that's the case. If it were, you would have shown signs of being under the Kombat Rage, but I didn't see any". Huntress told the ninja, climbing back up to her feet and placed her left hand on the hip. "So I'm confident to say that Dark Kahn hasn't made a return. This is just something else". She added, gazing up towards one of the monitors displaying the Regime's symbol.

Scorpion tilted his head down to think about Huntress' words. He could see the wisdom in her words since he felt no influence of the Kombat Rage at all in his time here so far. Even when he got upset earlier, that was all his own naturel rage. And without the Kombat Rage, the two realms couldn't merge. So maybe Dark Kahn isn't behind what's going on right now.

While Scorpion continued to think to himself, Huntress was now staring at him in thought. She narrowed both eyes in thought for some reason, before giving a small nod. 'He isn't what I was hoping to find exactly, but he'll do perfectly'. The teenager thought to herself, lifting her left hand off the hip.

"Scorpion?" Huntress spoke, capturing the ninja's attention fully. Scorpion turned to face Huntress once more and stared at her in silence. "I... know that this whole thing is confusing right now, but I- no, we need your help". The teenage girl told Scorpion, taking a step forward and bringing her right fist up.

Scorpion raised an eyebrow at Huntress, then crossed both arms. "My help? My only concern right now is finding a way back to my realm, so why should I help you?" He questioned Huntress, seeing no reason to give his assistance to Huntress.

Huntress grit her teeth at hearing this, but didn't give up. "I understand you want to return to your universe, but we've got nothing on how you can get home. Helping us right now is your best chance because if Superman and his Regime finds you Scorpion, you'll never return home". The teenage girl told Scorpion, worry leaking out of her voice for him. She knows for certain that Superman won't ignore a threat like Scorpion and will kill him on sight.

"What...?!" Scorpion growled out, uncrossing both arms and glared at Huntress with both hostility and confusion. She didn't flinch and kept eye contact with the intimidating ninja in hopes he'll join her and the others.

"This... dimension isn't my one. It's a different one where things have gone terribly wrong. 5 years ago, Joker tricked Superman into killing his wife and unborn baby". Huntress revealed to the black and yellow ninja, eyes slightly narrowing as she spoke.

"...!?" Scorpion's eyes went completely wide as what he heard. He dropped both arms and matched right up to Huntress, stopping right in front of her. "What do you mean that clown tricked Superman into killing his wife and child?! Explain yourself!" Scorpion exclaimed with clear anger in his voice. He wasn't angry with Huntress, but the tragedy Superman's experienced because it reminded him how he lost his wife and son.

Huntress blinked at how interested Scorpion's become in the subject. "I'll tell you everything, but right now we need to get out of here and head to Gotham. We're risking getting spotted by Superman's Regime staying out here". She replied, walking past the black and yellow ninja.

Scorpion watched Huntress walk away over his right shoulder for a moment or two, before turning around and followed her. He was in unfamiliar territory with unknown dangers. His best safe bet was to stay with Huntress for now and learn everything of the situation before making any plans of his own. Not to mention his best choice of returning to his realm and getting revenge on Sub-Zero.

(Later on in Earth Prime)

Catwoman stood right beside Superman, both of them watching Cyborg finishing tinkering with Flash's Cosmic Treadmill. Flash himself already ready to start running and only waiting for the green light.

'It's really astonishing how Mr. former football champion can do with anything related to technology. He could have bankrupt the whole world if he was a villain'. Catwoman thought to herself with an impressed grin, almost wishing she had Cyborg as a crime partner years ago. But that would have been impossible since he wouldn't have been born around then or just a newborn kid.

"Ready to test it?" Superman questioned, watching Cyborg going over the final touches. "Ready as we'll ever be". The half man and machine responded, finishing his adjusting to the machine's main engine. He got up on his feet and began walking over to the laptop connected to Flash's Cosmic Treadmill.

"System's online... I'm linked up". Cyborg stated, stopping right in front of the laptop. He brought up both hands to begin typing away, before looking over to Flash. "Flash, you ready?" He questioned the fastest man alive, gazing over to him with no clue that Catwoman walked over to behind him to watch.

"I'm on it!" Flash responded, quickly looking over to Cyborg before facing forward. He immediately starting running with Speed Force energy. The Cosmic Treadmill began spinning with orange energy gathering inside, growing bigger and stronger by the second.

Catwoman watched with a hint of desperation on her face, hoping that this'll bring her family back. Cyborg projected a blue holographic screen from his left red eye and typed away on it with the left hand, further setting things to bring their lost friends back. "Alright... Let's crank it up!" Cyborg declared, dismissing the blue screen and went back to focusing on the laptop.

At Cyborg's words; Flash went faster than before, beginning the next step to bringing their friends home. The Cosmic Treadmill gathered more energy, much to Catwoman's growing hope of seeing her husband and daughter emerge from that energy sphere.

Cyborg left the computer and went to the machine's wires. Superman walked over to the wires' other side, eyes focused on the gathering energy. "The platform should lock on to their signatures and pull them back". Cyborg told Superman, catching the Man of Steel's attention as he looked over to his comrade.

Cyborg finished his tinkering with the wires, before getting up and going straight back to the computer. "Got it! I'm vibrating at the right frequency!" Flash informed them, right as Cyborg returned to the laptop and began typing away once more.

The Cosmic Treadmill's platform began conducting blue electricity of energy, a good sign that it was working properly. And with a burst of energy, a pillar of light blue and white energy appeared in the platform's middle.

Superman's eyes turned blue as he stared into the pillar, all the while walking over close to Flash. "How we doing?" Flash asked his friend, running still until he knows for certain their friends were back.

Superman's eyes ceased glowing as he looked at his fellow Justice League member. "Containment field's up, but the levels are spiking!" The Man of Steel informed Flash, capturing Catwoman's attention at what he said. She looked over to Superman and opened her mouth to speak, only to never get the chance.

The energy pillar suddenly let out a burst of more energy, catching Superman's attention and making Cyborg grunt in surprise as he took a step back. He quickly recovered and typed away on the laptop in homes of regaining control of the machine. "Vector, what's going on?!" Catwoman explained, taking a step forward to the Teen Titan member.

"Cyborg, shut it down!" Superman told Cyborg, walking around the Cosmic Treadmill to be standing across the half man machine. "It's okay! I've got it!" Cyborg replied to the Man of Steel, resulting in Catwoman turning to him with an unpleased expression.

"Don't you know that whenever someone says that-" She began, only to get interrupted because the pillar of energy burst first, then expanded, engulfing her and Cyborg. The two both grunted, bringing their arms up to shield their eyes. The pillar of energy's light grew so bright that it forced Superman and Flash to shut their eyes, preventing them from seeing Cyborg and Catwoman being teleported.

(In the Injustice universe)

Back with Huntress and Scorpion; the two had successfully escaped Metropolis and made it to Gotham City without getting seen by the Regime.

Right now; the two were standing atop a random rooftop and standing across each other. Huntress has been telling Scorpion the whole situation like how they're in a parallel dimension, Superman turning to killing, this dimension's Batman calling her and the others to take down the corrupted Man of Steel. She had just finished telling Scorpion everything and was now waiting for him to speak.

The black and yellow ninja stared at Huntress in silence, eyes narrowed, and arms crossed. "...I don't disagree with the actions this dimension's Superman took. The only thing I disagree with is how quick he was about it and how he should have made that clown suffer before death". Scorpion told the teenage girl, uncrossing his arms once he finished speaking.

Huntress let out a small sigh. She wasn't really expecting him to disagree with Superman's choice. Wonder Woman had told her how Scorpion's universe seemed more open to killing unlike them. It was really a miracle nobody was killed by Scorpion and his comrades in the merging of universes' incident.

"And what about the actions he's taken after killing Joker? How he's killed so many, using fear to control the world and even decides if a person should die or not. Do you agree with that as well?" Huntress questioned the ninja, pressing both hands against her hips.

Scorpion narrowed both eyes, but shook his head in response. "I do not agree. I agree with his choice with the clown because of the atrocity he committed against Superman, but this is too far. There is no real kombat or honor in his actions. He's just killing out of grief, not honor or revenge". The black and yellow ninja answered Huntress, lifting his gripping right fist hard enough to draw blood.

Huntress blinked at a specific part of Scorpion's sentence. 'Revenge? Is he seeking vengeance against someone else?' The girl thought to herself, thinking back to everything her father and friends told her about Scorpion. 'Dad said Scorpion confused him for this "Sub-Zero" and Diana told me he was looking for a princess. Does he have something against one of those two?' Huntress mentally said to herself, wondering if something terrible had happened to Scorpion in the past.

Huntress lightly shook her head, deciding to not think about that for now and focus on the situation at hand. "Well, what are you gonna do then? Are you gonna help us take him down?" She asked the ninja with a sharp voice.

Scorpion lowered his fist, frowning deeply at the girl in front of him. "...You have no intentions to kill him, do you?" He questioned Huntress, receiving a frown from her in return. "We don't do that in this universe! Besides, killing Superman won't bring justice to all the people that's died". The girl answered, leaning forward a little all the while keeping eye contact with the ninja.

"Justice? Hmph!" Scorpion scoffed, looking away to the right in disgust of Huntress' words. Huntress let out a sigh with her eyes closed, before straightening her posture. She didn't know how things in Scorpion's universe goes, so Huntress doesn't expect him to have the same ideals as her.

"I understand things are different from your universe, but we believe even bad guys deserve to keep their lives. Superman may have killed Joker, but Joker won in the end because Superman turned into what he wanted. Would you really call that a victory?" Huntress questioned the ninja, lifting her right hand and stared down at it.

Scorpion gave no response to that. He merely turned to look at Huntress and glared at her, something that she took as his way of saying "no" for an answer. "I'll ask one more time, Scorpion. Will you help us dethrone Superman? And once we're done with him, you have my word that I'll do everything in the Justice League's power to help you go home". Huntress told the black and yellow ninja, dropping both hands from her hips once she finished speaking.

Scorpion was silent for the next few seconds, doing nothing except staring at Huntress with the teenage girl staring back. Almost after half a minute, Scorpion opened his mouth to speak, but to never get the chance.

Blue bright sparks of electricity appeared 10 feet away from the two, catching the attention of Huntress and Scorpion. The two gazed over to it, before turning to face it fully. "Oh great, now what?" Huntress groaned out, both her and Scorpion lifting their hands to take combat stances.

The blue sparks quickly cleared to reveal Prime Catwoman falling to her knees. Huntress let out a gasp of pure shock at the sight, while Scorpion raised an eyebrow. "...Mum...?" Huntress uttered to herself, both her and Scorpion dropping their stances.

Catwoman let out a disappointed sight as she climbed up to her feet. "...That means they don't have it under control. Way to go metal man, you jinxed us". The former criminal said with an annoyed tone, placing her left hand on the hip. She looked to her right first, then the left to look around her surroundings. "Now, where the heck am I?" Catwoman questioned, frowning a little bit since she could recognize a little bit of the Gotham around her.

"Mum!" Huntress called out to her mother, fully capturing Catwoman's attention. Catwoman looked over her left shoulder, before turning around with a gasp of pure delight at seeing her daughter standing just 10 feet away. "Helena!" She cried out in pure joy, just about to run over and envelop her daughter in a great big hug, but stopped herself upon seeing Scorpion besides Huntress.

Catwoman let out another gasp, this time out of shock at seeing the ninja. 'No way! It's that ninja that Lex beat up!' The adult woman thought, recognizing Scorpion from the Dark Kahn events. Why was he here in this parallel dimension and with her daughter of all people!

"Hmph!" Scorpion crossed his arms and turned away from Catwoman. Huntress, on the other hand, didn't waste time and immediately ran over to her mother, throwing both arms around Catwoman in a hug, snapping the older woman out of her shocked state.

"Mum... I've missed you". Huntress whispered with a happy smile, head resting on Catwoman's left shoulder. Despite it only being 2 or 3 days in this parallel dimension, she's greatly missed her version of Batman and Catwoman, the versions that raised her since birth. And seeing her mother here really brightened her mood.

Catwoman grew a relived smile, before bringing both hands up and returned Huntress' hug. Even running her right hand down Huntress' hair to truly convince herself that this was real and not a dream. "I've missed you too, my little huntress". The adult woman said with a relived voice, honestly happy that little accident at least still brought her back together with her family.

Catwoman suddenly blinked upon thinking of the word "family". She looked around her surroundings once more in search of Batman, but found no sight of him nearby. "Helena? Where is your father?" Catwoman questioned, turning to look at the younger female once she finished speaking.

Huntress opened both eyes and blinked at Catwoman's question. She lifted her head from her mother's shoulder to stare at Catwoman with an uncertain expression. "Well... it's a long and complicated story". The teenager answered slowly, not really sure how to explain the whole situation right now especially the part of her having no idea where her version of Batman is right now.

Catwoman's gaze wondered from Huntress over to Scorpion, eyes narrowing sharply at the ninja. "Would it also explain why he's here?" The former criminal asked with a curious voice, right hand slowly going over to her whip acting tail.

Huntress looked over to Scorpion and winced a bit. The ninja had almost came close to killing her mother if it wasn't for Luthor defeating him and Sub-Zero. And with her last encounter with that "Sonya" woman in the battle against Dark Kahn, Catwoman doesn't really have a good relationship with the other universe's fighters.

Huntress looked back at her mother and gave a nervous smile. "Yeah, but don't worry. Scorpion's on our side and he won't pick a fight with anyone". The 15-year-old girl reassured her mother, words that made the mentioned ninja let out a scoff.

"Unless they challenge me to kombat themselves". Scorpion stated, uncrossing both arms and dropping them before he turned to face the two hugging females. "Now enough wasting time! I will fight with you against Superman, but you better keep your word or else I will send you to the Netherrealm myself!" He exclaimed, lifting his right fist with flames briefly appearing over it.

Catwoman frowned at the deadly ninja, while Huntress let out a sigh of relief. The teenage girl left her mother's embrace and turned to fully face Scorpion. "I swear that I will. Once Superman is defeated, I'll do everything in my power to help you find a way home". Huntress swore to the black and yellow ninja with pure conviction in her voice. She truly meant everything she said to Scorpion just now.

Scorpion's features softened at Huntress, followed by him nodding in approval. "Helena, what is going on? And why are you two talking about fighting Superman?" Catwoman questioned with a stern voice, wanting a proper explanation right now about what's going on.

Huntress looked at Catwoman over her right shoulder and let out a small nervous laugh. "I'll explain on the way, but for now let's head to the others". The teenage girl replied, thinking they spent enough time out and met up with the others. They should have returned from their mission to the Batcave by now and have successfully retrieved the Kryptonite weapon.

Huntress turned to her left and began walking away. Catwoman immediately followed the younger female without question. Scorpion watched them for a moment or two, before walking after the pair of mother and daughter.

(Later on/ Insurgence base)

Catwoman wasn't the only one that got teleported to this universe. Cyborg was brought along for the ride as well, but ended up in the Insurgence base. Under a misunderstanding, he fought and defeated both Deathstroke and Lex Luthor, but thankfully Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Green Lantern and Aquaman all made it back in time before he could do anything that he'll regret later.

Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Green Lantern and Aquaman had completed their mission in retrieving the Kryptonite weapon, but there were a few complications along the way. They had to make a pitstop to Gotham's Joker's Asylum, former Arkham Asylum but change thanks to Joker's henchmen and was under Harley Quinn's control.

Turns out; Joker had escaped the Regime and made his way to Gotham, crossing paths with Prime Batman and landing a critical hit on him. Because of that, Joker was able to beat Batman in a fight and came close to infecting him with Joker gas, but stopped upon spotting Hawkgirl and Yellow Lanten flying in.

He went to hide, leaving Batman alone for Superman's two lackeys to find and take him away. When the coast was clear, he came out of hiding and that's when this universe's Harley Quinn showed up out of nowhere to attack him, thinking he was just an imposter and mocking her Joker.

They fought and Joker defeated Harley. The girl realized that it was the real deal and took Joker to Joker's Asylum to meet all the men working for her. Joker gave a rallying speech to them all, but that's when the Regime broke in and attacked. Hawkgirl and Damian Wayne with them.

Joker defeated both Hawkgirl and Damian, and that's when Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Green Lantern and Aquaman came in to help. The Regime members were all defeated, while Hawkgirl and Damian managed to escape.

This universe's Batman wasn't all too happy to see Joker and the feeling was mutual for the others. They got him to talk and learned Superman's Regime has Prime Batman arrested, so they hurried with their mission all the while locking Joker away.

They made it to Wayne Manor, where Green Arrow, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern fought this universe's Killer Frost and Grundy. They were no trouble and defeated them, moving onto the Batcave where they retrieved the Kryptonite weapon. But they weren't out of trouble just yet because this universe' Wonder Woman and Black Adam came in.

The fight was intense and the Kryptonite weapon got damaged, but Green Arrow managed to knock out Injustice Wonder Woman and Black Adam. They quickly left to return to the Insurgence base, and like mentioned before, just in time to stop Cyborg from doing something stupid like contacting Superman.

They explained the situation to Cyborg and showed him the damage Kryptonite weapon. They had started making plans to use the transporter to return to Prime universe, fix the laser there and get some backup, but unfortunately those plans were quickly derailed.

Superman made a broadcaster on how he was going to execute the Insurgent leader Batman on Striker's Island tomorrow, and everyone quickly realized he was talking about Prime Batman. They immediately began making plans to rescue Prime Batman from Superman and his Regime.

Cyborg and Deathstroke will infiltrate the Watchtower, Wonder Woman and the others will keep Superman busy. Finally, Batman and Green Arrow will break in to free Prime Batman.

Right now; everyone was in the same room that they reunited with Huntress yesterday. Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Lex Luthor, Green Arrow and Green Lantern were sitting down, while Batman, Deathstroke and Cyborg were standing up.

They had just finished discussing Cyborg infiltrating the Hall of Justice using his counterpart's appearance as a disguise, but that's when the black door slid open and a familiar voice called out. "I'm back!" A cheery voice called out, catching everyone's attention. They looked over to the open door to see Huntress and Prime Catwoman walk into the room and stop right in front of the entrance.

Everyone blinked in surprise at seeing Catwoman beside Huntress, but quickly realized it was Prime Catwoman and not her counterpart working for the Regime. "Selina!?" Wonder Woman exclaimed with wide eyes, surprised to see her here in this universe as well.

The married woman raised her right hand to give a playful wave. "Hi there, princess amazon". Catwoman playfully greeted her fellow Justice League member, before looking over to this universe's Batman and saw him staring at her with a natural expression.

Catwoman's face fell at seeing that expression on a face that's exactly like her husband's one. Huntress had informed her of the Catwoman of this dimension working for Superman and how she had first been on Batman's side. So despite not knowing the full story, Prime Catwoman couldn't help being disappointed in her counterpart.

"So, I wasn't the only one that got teleported to this dimension". Cyborg remarked, catching Catwoman's attention. She looked over to the disguised Justice League member and gave him an upset smile.

"I have to say metal man, you really outdone yourself this time. Instead of bringing our friends back to our dimension, we got sent to this one instead". Catwoman said with pure sarcasm leaking out of her voice, causing Cyborg to laugh nervously as he turned away to avoid looking at her.

"Where have you even been, Helena? You were supposed to return with Deathstroke, so why were you still out when we returned?" Aquman questioned Huntress with a stern voice, looking directly at the teenage girl with a frown.

Huntress looked back at the King of Atlantis with her own serious frown. "I'll get to that soon, but first there's something important that needs to be taken care of first". The black-haired female responded, grabbing the attention of everyone as they shifted their gazes over to her.

Without a word, both Huntress and Catwoman stepped away from the door. Huntress looked to the slid door with a serious expression and spoke. "You can come in now". She said with a low voice, mentally prepared for the headache that she's sure to get soon.

The slid door opened to reveal... Scorpion!

At the sight of the black and yellow ninja, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Lex Luthor, Deathstroke and Batman all widen their eyes in absolute shock. Aquaman and Green Arrow, on the other hand, looked confused at the sight of Scorpion since they weren't part of the Dark Kahn events.

"Scorpion!" Batman exclaimed, turning around to fully face the black and yellow ninja as Scorpion walked into the room and stood in between Huntress and Catwoman. "It has been a long time, Batman". Scorpion greeted his old enemy, crossing both arms as he spoke.

Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Luthor all stood up from their seats, staring at the other realm warrior with deep frowns. "How are you here? I thought we had seen the last of you after Dark Kahn's defeat!" The Amazon Princess exclaimed, fully on guard since this man fought and defeated her in the past.

Aquaman and Green Arrow looked directly up at Wonder Woman with wide-eyed expressions at how on guard she was, while Scorpion made no move to explain himself. Seeing that he wasn't going to bother explaining himself, Huntress did it for him.

"I don't know how, but somehow Scorpion got teleported to Metropolis in front of me. It doesn't look like Dark Kahn has made a return, so we don't have to worry about more enemies. I managed to convince him to help us in the fight against Superman, but only if we help him find a way home after we're done". The teenage girl explained to her comrades, giving Scorpion a quick glance before looking back at them all.

"How can you be so certain that Dark Kahn hasn't returned?" Green Lantern questioned the teenage girl, not the least bit convinced that such a dangerous threat hasn't returned. She wasn't there in the Dark Kahn events, so she has no idea what she's talking about.

Huntress opened her mouth to respond, but Scorpion took that moment to speak. "She speaks the truth. There's been no sign of our realms merging together, or any influence of the Kombat Rage. And I can confidently say that Shao Kahn hasn't fused with the one known as "Darkseid" either". The black and yellow ninja informed Green Lantern, dropping both arms once he finished speaking.

Green Lantern grew silent at Scorpion's words, unable to really refuse what he's saying since he himself hasn't felt the Kombat Rage's influence at all. He was controlled by it many times in the Dark Kahn events, so he knows what being under the Kombat Rage feels like. But he hasn't felt a trace of it at all in the last few hours. So Green Lantern can only believe Scorpion's words.

Catwoman stepped forward, deciding to join the conversation. "We can worry about that stuff later. Helena explained everything to me about Superman and his Regime. Did you get the Kryptonite laser thing?" The adult woman questioned, walking right up to Injustice Batman and looked him right in the eye.

Batman almost flinched at Catwoman, but managed to stop himself. Yet struggled to open his mouth to speak. This woman in front of him may not be his version, but it was still Catwoman, A.K.A Selina Kyle. He trusted her completely in the past and even believed he could have a life with her at some point, but that all changed when she left his side and joined Superman.

All of that combined made it difficult for him to speak with this version of Catwoman, one that made a family with his counterpart and raised a daughter. It made him feel envious of his counterpart as well.

So, with great difficulty, he replayed the events of the night to Catwoman, Huntress and Scorpion. About finding Joker and the events that took place in Wayne Manor and the Batcave.

At the end of the explanation; Huntress closed both eyes and let out a tired sigh. "Leave you people alone for just a bit and look what happens; everything falls apart". The teenage girl breathed out, resulting in Green Arrow raising an eyebrow at how calm she was right now.

"I sorta thought you'd be more ticked off at learning your dad's gonna be executed". The archer remarked, instantly changing Huntress' face into a deep scowl with an enraged smile. "Oh, trust me; I'm more than pissed off right now. Especially with that clown right now!" She growled out with pure anger leaking out of her voice. Her very fist was shaking right now to punch Joker in the face.

"And she's not the only one". Catwoman stated, bearing an enraged frown as she brought up her right hand with the claws extending out. She had a deep urge to claw Joker's eyes out after what he did to her husband as well.

Green Arrow let out a nervous laugh at the two enraged females. 'I should have kept my mouth shut'. He thought to himself, glad that he wasn't the source of the two females' rage. He can only hope that they don't kill the clown out of anger.

Huntress let out a deep breath to let go of her rage, before looking directly at Injustice Batman. "What's the plan of action to save dad? I'm not gonna sit back and watch them execute him". The teenage girl told Batman, crossing both arms. She didn't care what stood in her way, she had every intention to save her father, even if that meant fighting Superman himself.

Batman gave a nod to his other universe daughter. He may have not known her for long, but he's already gotten a good idea what kind of person she is.

Thus, the plan was reorganized since they had 2 more allies to include in the rescue operation tomorrow.

(Later)

Huntress and Scorpion walked down the hallway to the cell that Joker was being kept with every intention to knock some teeth out.

Earlier half an hour ago, they had finished reorganizing their plans of action, just a bit. Catwoman will go with Cyborg and Deathstroke to infiltrate the Hall of Justice and Watchtower. Scorpion will be with Wonder Woman and the others to distract Superman and the others. Finally, Huntress with go with Batman and Green Arrow to save Prime Batman.

With their planning done, everyone was now making preparations for their rescue operation. Huntress and Scorpion had one last thing to do before they head out to their assigned positions for this rescue operation. And it was getting payback on a certain clown.

Speaking of which, the two stopped in their tracks upon seeing the cell up ahead. Huntress grew an eager grin, before looking at Scorpion over her right shoulder. "Wait for me to give you the green light. I wanna see the face he makes when he sees you". The teenager told her newest comrade, looking forward to see Joker's terrified expression.

Scorpion gave no response, but did nod his head as an answer. Huntress chuckled with an anticipation as she continued forward, walking up in view of the cell. Inside was nothing special. Just a simple bed that Joker was currently lying down on.

"Hm?" Joker took notice of Huntress standing outside the cell and sat up from the bed. "Well, look who's come to pay me a visit. Sweet little Huntress". The clown said with a very evil grin on his face, sounding quite pleased to see Huntress.

Huntress frowned deeply at Batman's most dangerous nemesis, grabbing hold of the cell's bars and gripped them tightly. "You...! You let my dad get taken by Superman's Regime!?" She shouted at the clown, blaming Joker for Prime Batman's current predicament. She didn't care that he had not a single good bone in his body, she's just very upset right now.

Joker didn't grow guilty in the least. He just gave a shrug of the shoulders. "What were you expecting me to do? Help him? Sorry hon, but I look out only for myself". The clown said without a trace of remorse, intensifying Huntress' anger at him.

The teenage girl grit her teeth and gripped the cell's bars so tightly her bones cracked. "...I'm gonna enjoy what's about to happen". She said with a growing eager voice, getting an amused laugh from Joker at hearing this. "Oh? What are you gonna do? Come in here and beat the daylights out of me?" Joker questioned with an evil grin, intending to make use of the opportunity about to be given to him.

"You're about to get the daylights beaten out of you, but not by me. But by an old friend of yours". Huntress answered with an excited grin, causing Joker to raise an eyebrow at her since he's got no clue who she's talking about.

Huntress turned her head left to look directly at Scorpion. She gave him a nod, which the black and yellow ninja returned. He walked forward and stopped right beside Huntress on her left. He turned around and glared directly at Joker with the clown's reaction being just as what Huntress hoped for.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!?"

Joker screamed in pure absolute terror at seeing perhaps the only person in existence that could terrorize him. "W-w-w-what are y-y-you doing here!?" The clown exclaimed in fear, backing away and pointing at Scorpion with his right hand's index finger.

"Hello...jester". Scorpion greeted with a low voice full of clear hostility. He lifted his left hand and grabbed hold of a single bar. The ninja easily bended it to the left without a single bit of trouble, much to Joker's further terror.

Huntress gave a pleased grin at seeing Joker's reaction. Oh, how she so greatly wanted to see that look of pure terror on Joker's face after all the damage he's done and the horror he's brought to people.

Wanting to see him more afraid, Huntress gazed down at the cell's keyhole, before going down to one of her mini bags. She quickly opened it, found the cell's key inside and held it up with her right hand. She inserted the key into the keyhole, a sight that made Joker start sweating as if he's in a volcano.

"W-what are you, kiddo?! You're not really gonna let him inside, are you?! We're best buddies, aren't we? You're not really gonna give him open access to me, right?" The clown asked with a scared, yet hopeful voice. Forgetting about Huntress' early anger at him for abandoning Batman to the Regime out of fear.

"You can take your friendship and SHOVE it in your ass, Joker!" Huntress retorted, turning the key and fully unlocking the cell. She grabbed hold of the cell's bars and stepped backwards, opening the way fully for Scorpion to enter.

Huntress turned her head to look at Scorpion and gave a nod. Scorpion didn't return the nod, instead walking around the open cell's doors and entered the cell. "Time to keep to my word and make you pay for that stunt when we first met!" The ninja growled out, bringing both hands up and slammed the left fist into his right open palm.

Scorpion walked forward and in just a second, stood over the covering clown. Joker laughed nervously in fear, before gazing over to Huntress in hopes she'll save him, but she simply turned around fully to avoid looking at him.

Thus, Joker was left to Scorpion's mercy once again. The only relief he felt was that Scorpion wasn't allowed to kill him.

And with that, chapter 3 is over! Well guys, what do you think! Scorpion's here! Now if any of you are gonna ask how the others remember him from the events of Mortal Kombat V.S DC Universe, here's my explanation.

In Mortal Kombat 9 when Raiden sent his memories to his past self or counterpart, it affected the timeline not just in his universe, but the DC one as well since the two were connected. The DC members that were apart of the game got their memories of the conflict back at some point before Helena was born, not to mention Prime and Injustice universe split.

Batman and the others remembered the events, even though they never "happened". That's why both universes remember the incident. And as for how Shao Kahn and Darkseid got back to their receptive universes, the only way I could think of is Kronika with how she could use the Hourglass. This is my best explanation for how they remember those events.

This is the best I could do, so I hope you all accept it. Now before I call it a day, I have an announcement to make to everyone that's read my stories. I'm going to make a new crossover story.

A Re:Zero and That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime crossover story.

But this one will be unlike the other ones for two reasons. The first is that I won't replace Subaru or Rimuru with either of the two, they'll both exist. And the second, I also intend to add Isekai Memories and Isekai Chronicles to the story as well.

To be honest, I've checked and there's hardly any That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime stories with Shinsha in them. At most, I've only found 2 or 3, but those ones just didn't work for me. And don't get me started on Isekai Chronicles because that came out not too long ago and I haven't found a single story with those events in them.

This crossover story will start after the events of Isekai Memories chapter 20, after Izis' defeat and on Re:Zero episode 3. Basically, Rimuru and Shinsha are sent to the Re:Zero world by Satella to help Subaru.

I've already come up with big plans for this story, but I intend to keep them secret for now. I haven't fully played Isekai Chronicles just yet, but I've played Isekai Memories completely so far. I intend to start this story on the start of 2025, so if any of you guys are interested, please be patient. This story will be one of my master pieces!

Write your thoughts in reviews or messages, I'm eager to hear what you all think soon. As for me, I'm gonna call it a day and relax now.

Next story to be updated will be my Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS and Pokémon story. Everyone that's been waiting, please be patient just a little more.

See you. Let's rev it up!
