Masters of Disasters
POV. Third person
Chris begins narrating, "Last time in Total Drama Action. The badass chef in the world used spoons to bring out DJ's killer instinct."
"This isn't about right or wrong, it's about us earning that little million," chef told DJ.
"It wasn't thanks to DJ that Cody and Heather screamed their hearts out. Victory was within reach when DJ won the scream. Lindsay surprised everyone by taking charge and earning the respect of her peers... until they got fed up and decided to expel her hahahahahahaha. Luckily for her before anything was decided, DJ's conscience aka Mama DJ, got the best of him. DJ kicked himself out for cheating, climbed the lame-o-sine and drove off into the sunset. How will contestants survive without DJ's gourmet food? Was it cilantro or tarragon that I use in that stew? Find out all that and more in another exciting and satisfying episode of TOTAL... DRAMA... ACTION!"

POV. Gwen
I woke up early this morning, something weird about me, Izzy's bed was unoccupied, and since I wasn't invading someone else's, I can only assume that I spend the night in Cody's trailer.
I really envy them, as such a strange couple does to never have problems, I don't think I've ever seen them fight... for something other than nonsense at least.
I guess they're just compatible with each other. Well, the fact that they annoy Heather already makes them one of my favorite partners by default, and if they manage to hook her I wouldn't mind too much, those two would probably drive her crazy in a few weeks.
I got out of the trailer to stretch my legs; thankful the sun isn't so strong in the morning.
"Shriek."
"Squawk."
I saw Izzy and Cody's weird pets arguing on a table. I shook my head, don't get involved, there's no going back from something like that.
I looked in another direction, only to see Trent sitting under a tree practicing on his guitar.
Maybe it would be best to just ignore him, but we're supposed to be friends so I wouldn't want to just be the one who talks to him just out of obligation, with that in mind I turned to him.
"It's been a while since I've seen you hold an instrument," I said.
Trent turned around somewhat surprised, but relaxed afterwards, "Well, I hadn't been able to get my thoughts in order to try to play anything in the last few days."
I grimaced, "yes... how are you handling the whole thing so far?"
"Well... At first it was difficult, I questioned myself many times what I did wrong... But after a while, I realized that maybe it wasn't about that, maybe we just weren't compatible and that's it. I mean, you like horror, being negative, and the color black... It's not like any of those things are wrong or anything like that!" he said hurriedly.
"Hehehehe, yes, I like all that, and you like soft music, watching sunsets and believing in bad luck," I returned.
"Yes... That's me."
"..."
"..."
"... In fact... I think I like it better that we're just friends, I still like you Gwen, but... I think I'm ready to move on...", said the rather determined one.
"..."
*Blow*
"Ouch! Why was that?" he asked as he rubbed his arm where I hit him.
"A gesture of friendship," I said with a smile.
He also smiled, "I'm glad we can actually be friends."
"Me too, the truth is that there are very few people I can really trust... I'm glad you're still one of them."
"Thank you, do you want to listen to the song I made to vent my sadness?"
"Oh god, don't tell me you made a song about it," I said embarrassedly.
"I'll take it as a yes," he said as he began to play.
...
"She was a dark... and mysterious girl ~,
I was a cool... and chill guy~,
Love struck and... connected us one day~,
But fate, so cruel, to ashes everything burned~.
...
In a maze of jealousy and nines...we walked so lost ~,
Maybe love... wasn't on our side~,
But now... but now I smile~,
'Cause our friendship will go on... I hope~".
...
*Applause, applause*
"Squawk (poetry)".
"Squeal (don't worry, it's not the end for you)."
The crazy prairie dog and the dead-eyed seagull were clapping near us with tears in their eyes, when did they come here?
"That's a good song," I said.
"Thank you, it's a work in progress, but I think I'm on the right track."
"I hope that doesn't mean you need to be sadder to finish the song."
"Don't worry, I'm not that crazy."
We continued talking for a while, it was like going back to the beginning, when there was no relationship and we talked to each other normally, only that, unlike before, there is no longer that anticipation of wanting something more, now we are just two friends hanging out.

POV. Cody
Warm.
For some reason my face felt very warm, and there was a faint smell of wood.
*Heartbeat, heartbeat, heartbeat*
A heart? Oh, I understand what's going on. I opened my eyes, but all I saw was darkness, then I moved away a little to see that my face had been tucked between a pair of cute breasts in pajamas.
"Zzzzz," Izzy slept as I hugged myself against her. I don't know at what point she snuck into my trailer, but it doesn't matter, this is comforting.
I got up careful not to wake her, I wouldn't want her to get violent. Speaking of violence, the next challenge after this one is where she'll leave again, as I don't doubt that Explosivo will do his thing during that challenge, but it doesn't matter much.
Izzy admitted a few days ago that she likes girls, so now she's officially bisexual, which I don't know if it would have happened in the original timeline, as this was more due to the situations she got involved in being around me, but I actually picture her making a rash decision like this.
I feel a little sorry for Heather, now she not only has to deal with her feelings for me, but Izzy's feelings for her.
"I don't know why... But I have a persistent feeling that this will end with something bursting into flames," well, I guess I'll handle it if it comes down to it, I chose to move forward with this kind of polyamorous relationship, I have to accept whatever comes, whether it's good, bad, or hard.
"Hmm~...", Izzy hugged my waist preventing me from getting up, I stroked her head, "mm~", she moaned again at ease.
Well, to hell with the consequences, I don't regret anything.

POV. Lindsay
We were all in the service store facing the worst we've had to deal with so far... The return of Chef's meal.
How I would have liked to be served this kind of food when I was on a diet, because now it's very difficult for me.
I sighed, our team narrowly escaped elimination, I was about to go home. My team almost kicked me out, and I don't blame them, I decided to take the role of leader and yet we still lost again.
I just hope that now that the other team has lost a member, our luck starts to improve
Everyone else was also struggling to put chef's food in their mouths. Harold tried to eat some.
"Cough, cough, cough," but he ended up coughing, "I really miss DJ's cooking, it was as awesome as this is completely grossitating."
"I wish my boyfriend was here, he's such a great cook," Beth said.
... wait a second, does Beth have a boyfriend? Since when?
I wasn't the only one surprised, "Boyfriend? I don't remember any talk of a boyfriend," Heather said.
"Oh, yeah. I have a boyfriend; I love my boyfriend. What? Didn't I mention my boyfriend before?"
...
POV. Cody
No Beth, you didn't, and I still wonder what was the need to mention it constantly from now on? Why didn't she talk about him from the beginning of the season if they really knew each other during the two days off?
It's one of the things that never had an explanation, but since it didn't have major consequences I don't think it matters, I don't remember if Beth talked about Brady during Chris' trial, but it didn't seem like they were over, I guess at least one thing went right in the end.
I turned my attention back to the conversation when Beth showed everyone Brady's picture and Justin pointed out that it was a model business card.
Confessional.
Izzy
"Okay. I bought a lot of junk off late-night infomercials, but I ain't buyin' that."
End of confessional.
"Yeah, well, maybe he's a model too. Ever thought of that?" Beth told the supermodel.
Duncan emptied his stew on top of mine, how mature, "no, no one ever thought of that," said the delinquent.
I put my plate under the table, where a seagull and a prairie dog began to eat the stew.
"You've been chasing after a boyfriend all this time, with a honey back home?" asked LeShawna. And people say I'm greedy.
Izzy raised her eyebrows suggestively at Heather, causing Heather to show her middle finger, which only made her laugh.
"Sure, my boyfriend's a model, but he's still just a guy, Justin is a super-model, I can't help myself, now that my braces are off, it's a whole new dating world," Justin looked awkward when Beth pointed him out with interest.
Confessional.
Justin
The model shuddered, "okay, Beth is not my first choice, this face can't appear in a relationship with her, it would ruin my reputation, luckily Lindsay forgot about the vote thing, so I might still have a chance, but if that doesn't work out, at least I'll have a backup plan after the merge, Wow, I'm a genius, a beautiful genius."
End of confessional.
"Hey LeShawna, would you be so kind as to pass me those bending straws," Harold said.
LeShawna handed her the straws strangely, "What do you want them for?"
"Oh, nothing major, it's just that these look like the ones they had in the hospital where I had my kidneys swapped," the nerd said.
Both the Grips and the Gaffers were shocked and a little dismayed to hear this, "Dude, did they swap your kidneys?" asked Trent dumbfounded.
"Yes, I was born with a rare kidney condition. My left kidney was where the right one should be," Harold said.
LeShawna's eyes widened, "You had a surgical kidney swap?"
"That's right, I'm a rare case," the nerd said.
"You're a rare case, all right," Heather said.
Confessional.
Gwen
"You know things are weird when I agree with Heather."
End of confessional.
"Whatever, I'm loading up," Harold said as he stuffed the straws into his pockets.
Chef appeared through the window and immediately we all put on fake smiles.
"Hmm, hmm, hmm... this stew is unbelievably delicious, don't you guys?" said Gwen as she tasted the stew and tried not to wince. It would be easier to sell if Owen was here, but since that wasn't the case, all we could do was smile and nod our heads.
"I hate suck-ups," chef said as he made his way back to the kitchen, we all relaxed.
"Not to worry, folks, you won't be hanging on to your lunch for much longer hahahaha," Chris arrived mocking our misery.
"And exactly what torture have you concocted for us today?" asked Duncan with indifferent curiosity.
"Oh, nothing. Just that your day will be total disaster. Get it? It's a disaster movie theme! You know? Like in disaster flicks? People running for their lives from volcanoes, earthquakes, asteroids, tidal waves, the more disastrous the better," Chris said excitedly.
But you can tell from everyone's gaping looks that they didn't share their enthusiasm, and I don't blame them, from here on the challenges become more and more dangerous and life-threatening, Owen broke his jaw and almost drowned.
So yes, there isn't a lot of enthusiasm for this challenge.
Confessional.
Lindsay
"My hair is already a total disaster! It's been three weeks since I've had a trim! Split ends city! How much worse could it get?"
End of confessional.
-0-
After lunch Chris took us to the disaster simulation scenario for the first part of the challenge. And frankly, that thing looked a lot less secure in person.
It was a downhill ramp full of obstacles that moved to simulate an earthquake. If I wasn't afraid that I'll be there in a few minutes, maybe I would have appreciated the amazing machine more.
"Your first challenge is, the earthquake... of the inevitable pain!" said Chris magnificently, emphasizing the word inevitable. Everyone else also had dismayed looks at the thought of getting on that thing, "each team has to run the course, challenging your dexterity, maneuverability, and other mad monkey skills", Chef was standing at the top, ready to throw things at us, because why not? "First team to the top wins! Best out of two earns today's reward", the host finished.
"Oh, my boyfriend had a summer job cleaning up after earthquakes and landslides," Beth said.
"Hahaha, nope, still not buying it; but I did cave and buy the electronic salad spinner, ruuuuu~ haha", and that's why Izzy I haven't told you about the money, you're a compulsive shopper... Very compulsive.
"All right, enough with the chitty chat," Chris said, "take your marks."
We all headed to the beginning of the track.
"How difficult do you think this challenge is going to be?" asked Gwen as she looked at the structure suspiciously.
"Very difficult, just don't stop or you'll be easy prey for Chef," Duncan said as we watched the cook at the top with a bag full of all sorts of things.
"Great," she said sarcastically.
LeShawna was already warming up for a run, "I can't wait to swing on the monkey bars," Beth said excitedly.
"Everyone follow Izzy, she'll lead you to victory," my girlfriend told her team members.
"I'd rather not, I value my life, thank you," Justin told her.
"Don't worry guys, with my mad skills getting around the obstacles will be a piece of cake," Harold said.
I noticed that Lindsay seemed somewhat distracted, I wonder if she is still affected by losing the previous challenge, I don't remember her getting depressed about it last time, although of course, she is not the same person now.
She looked in my direction and our eyes met at that moment. She quickly looked away... But unlike the other times... It seemed more... embarrassed than bothered, what's happening to her?
I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned around, it was Heather, "What's going on between you and Miss Bimbo? I thought you were friends," she asked me, why is she interested? Is she worried about our friendship? It can't be for fear that I have an alliance with Lindsay, she knows that I don't play like that.
"I don't know," I said, "she's been acting aloof since the prison challenge, though I don't know what it was that made her so angry."
Heather looked thoughtful, "Maybe she's taking the game seriously and doesn't want you to distract her... Although I doubt she has the reasoning ability to come to that conclusion," she said with her eyes rolling, "maybe she's angry that her team keeps losing while we win," the queen bee concluded.
"Maybe...", they were all possible, there was no way to know what the real reason was, unless I asked her, but she doesn't want to talk to me.
"And... action," Chris said, ending any conversation.
We all started up the ramp, the first obstacle was a tire road.
"This is so easy," my girlfriend said.
"Izzy!"
"... oops."
"Are you ready to rock!? Hahahahahaha," Chris pulled a lever causing the whole structure to shake like it was a real earthquake.
"Wow," Gwen lost her balance and almost fell if it weren't for Beth being right behind her.
"Ah!" but Harold tripped over one of the tires falling to the ground. Lindsay bumped into him, falling on top of him.
*Creaking*
I'm sure I heard a cracking sound.
"I'm sorry Harold."
"Gosh!"
The rest of us weren't having any better luck, I had to bend down and rest my hands on the ground to endure the hustle and bustle, Heather and Duncan imitated me after their first fall.
The three of us were heading towards the monkey bars. From my position I could see the chef.
"Be careful!" I warned those in the back.
"Perfect time to get rid of some old junk," chef said as he picked up a soccer ball. He tossed it at Izzy on the monkey bars, but she dodged it by getting up until she was parallel with the bars. That's an incredible lifting force. Sadly, Trent was right behind her.
*Crack*
"Uff", the ball hit him in the nuts, ouch.
"Cody watch out!"
LeShawna's voice made me look forward, "AH!" and I ducked quickly to prevent a bowling ball from ripping my head off, "Are you serious?"
*Blow*
"Ouch!" I had to keep my mouth shut because the chef threw an alarm clock at my head.
Chef threw all kinds of trash at us as we tried to scale the structure.
*Squeak*
He threw a rubber ducky in Justin's face while he was at the monkey bars, "Ouch! My precious cheekbones!"
Out of nowhere the structure stopped, "finally a break," Beth said.
"Beth!"
"... oops."
Confessional.
Cody
"Didn't anyone listen when I talked about not tempting fate?".
End of confessional.
"Aftershock!" shouted Chris happily as he pulled the lever again.
"Wow", the structure was swaying so hard that I ended up rolling backwards, luckily Duncan grabbed me by the collar of my shirt preventing me from falling all the way to the bottom. Even if you know what's coming, you can't exactly avoid it.
I grabbed myself off the ground again, "It's lava time!" said Chris.
From the end of the ramp lava began to pour towards us. Chef tasted it, "Tomato soup?! That was supposed to be for supper," the cook complained.
We quickly climbed on the monkey bars to avoid the hot soup.
"I hate tomato soup," Gwen said.
"Hoo-wee! Is it getting hot in here?" asked Chris, " How 'bout a cool, refreshing hailstorm?!", Chris was on top of a ball thrower.
"How about not?" Heather said, but was ignored by the host.
" Golf ball-sized hail is bad. But hail-sized golf balls are even worse! hahahaha," Chris started shooting.
"Shit! Ouch! Au! Woah! Ouch! Gosh!", we all screamed in pain when we were hit by golf balls, the little crap did hurt.
" No! Not the face!", a bunch of balls bombarded Justin.
Confessional.
Justin
He had a black eye and lots of red marks all over his body, "I give up. There's no way I'll get that skincare line endorsement now. Oh~ not so silky smooth."
End of confessional.
" After-aftershock," Chris said, pressing a button.
"Woah," the structure was no longer just shaking like crazy, but it was also splitting all over the place. This is no longer a natural disaster, it's the end of the world.
Confessional.
Trent
"Is it my idea or is Chris trying to kill us for real this time?".
End of confessional.
Despite everything that was going on, we were managing to make it to the finish, but again, without Owen's extra dead weight, the Grips were pretty close.
Luckily Chris ran out of balls to throw, "Chef do something!", chef crashed the cart they were riding on and retook his position at the top of the track ready to cut us off. The finish line was near.
"Watch out," Duncan said as he crouched. Chef threw us a pot.
The Grips, being less, were getting to the top faster than us.
"They're getting ahead of us! Hurry up, people!" Heather tried to climb the final wall to catch up with the other team. But my eyes widened when I saw the chef pull out his manifesto.
"Heather wait!" I tried to warn her.
"There's no time!" she said as she climbed.
"I've lived so many years!" Heather's eyes widened as the chef tossed her the Huge! Book.
I hope you'll forgive me for this. Grab Heather by the hem of her mini shorts and pull her back.
The manifesto passed by, brushing her nose. Heather fell on me.
*Clank*
We all watched with wide eyes as the manifesto slammed into one of the monkey bar holders, denting it completely.
Heather swallowed, "... Thank you... I guess," she said somewhat uncomfortably.
"Yes, no problem," I said while still staring at the dented bar.
"My editor was right, my life really is dangerous heh heh," said Chef satisfied with the result.
"Okay, that's it, this first challenge is for the Killer Grips," Chris announced after coming up here.
They looked happy about this, my team, not so much. At least no one ended up seriously injured this time.
"What's in store for the competitors next? Stay tuned to find out," Chris said to the camera, which stopped filming him, "okay people, let's move on to the next challenge."
-0-
Chris took us to the dock where a submarine was hanging from a crane. And I don't like the way Izzy looks at it at all.
She raised her hand, "Can I fire the torpedoes!?"
"No!", we all said right away.
"Agh, you just wanna suck the joy outta everything."
"Alright, everybody get on the inflatable boats," Chris said, each team entered the inflatable rafts, "Who's excited!?" the host asked.
"After the last challenge?" asked Heather annoyed, "no one."
"Speaking of which, for being the winners of the previous challenge the Grips have the advantage of getting this handy dandy piece of paper for the second disaster challenge," he said throwing a paper airplane at them. Which hit Lindsay in the face.
On the paper was written the combination of the submarine's lock, but no matter how hard I strained my eyes, I couldn't make out the Roman numerals.
It doesn't matter, I didn't really intend to win this challenge, it's a reward after all, and one that isn't worth it besides.
In this life-or-death situation LeShawna revealed her lie by accident, which I still plan to happen again, as otherwise, LeShawna could become a selfish person and a new Heather, so she needs a wake-up call.
Since Courtney isn't there, and we don't have her confession recorded, I'll have to rely on Bridgette and Geoff to reprimand her during the Aftermath, as I don't doubt they must have the recording of the lame-o-sine.
Also, this will keep the team divided, I'd rather have everyone be on everybody's neck to make it harder for sides to form, as I don't trust Duncan or Beth.
I just hope Harold can open the submarine, the thought of drowning would not only be humiliating, but it would be a total waste of all the time I've invested in this crazy reform trip.
"What good is this?" asked Lindsay, "it just has some dumb numbers on it."
"Okay, time to get inside," Chris said.
"You crazy? I'm not getting in that tin can," LeShawna complained.
"Not even for a million bucks?" asked Chris.
"Better be carpeted in there," said the Big Sister.
...
Both teams got into the submarine, an alarm started sounding which I think indicated we were in the water. One person on our team was already starting to panic.
Gwen hugged herself, "I don't like this at all," she said tensely, being claustrophobic must have been annoying.
"Don't worry Pasty, there's more than enough room," Duncan told her, trying to calm her down.
"I don't like this, not one little bit," Leshawna said.
"For this challenge, you've gotta get out before it's too late," Chris announced over the loudspeakers.
"Too late? Too late for what?" asked Heather worriedly.
"We're on a submarine, what do you think 'too late' means here?"
She and the others widened their eyes in horror.
"Exactly, hahahahahahaha."
*Dripping*
Water began to seep inside through the pipes, signaling the beginning of the challenge.
"Uh, well this is bad," Leshawna said.
...
POV. Third person
The Grips were on their side of the flooding submarine, handling the situation as reasonably as possible.
"We're all going to die!" Justin screamed in panic.
"What?! I can't die now, I still don't know what a baguette is," Lindsay said in a panic.
"Calm down guys, we don't know if oxygen is limited," Trent said starting to hyperventilate.
The only ones who didn't panic immediately were Izzy and Harold, these two exchanged a look, "Truce?"
"Truce," they both shook hands, then Izzy spat on hers and rubbed them, then walked over to the other three.
*Slap, slap, slap*
"Yip!"
"Ouch! Hey, that-!"
*Slap*
"Uff, alright I get it, I get it, stop slapping me!" said Justin pulling away from Izzy while rubbing his face.
"Why did you slap my ass?" said Lindsay as she rubbed her buttocks.
"Oh, I didn't want to damage that sexy doll face," Izzy said as she tugged at her cheek.
"Aw, that's considerate," Lindsay said gratefully.
"Okay people, wake up, we have to get out of here," said the lunatic taking charge of the situation.
"We have to turn off the faucet to stop the water and use one of the two locks to escape," Harold said.
...
Duncan tried to turn one of the many faucets, hoping it would stop the water.
"This water is freezing, and it's too dark to see anything," Heather complained.
"No problem, I've got great night vision. A lot of the stuff I get up to happens when the sun goes down," the delinquent said. Heather just rolled her eyes.
"I really wish my boyfriend was here, he's a registered lifeguard," Beth said.
"Yes, he sure is," Leshawna said in disbelief as she tried to open the door of the submarine.
Cody was checking the locks, "it seems like our only alternatives are down or up," the geek said.
Gwen walked over to the lock below, "this one needs a combination," she said.
"And this one's too high," Beth said as she looked at the airlock on the roof.
...
"This lock is padlocked, anyone know how to pick a lock?" asked Trent.
"Actually, I learned how to open a combo lock at Picky Steve's Lock-picking Camp," Harold said as he pulled out a stethoscope from somewhere.
Izzy remembered something, "there's no need, because...", she said looking at the Lindsay expectantly, but Lindsay just looked at her with an ignorant smile. Izzy got fed up and pulled the numbered paper out of Lindsay's skirt, but Lindsay still didn't understand.
"How are we ever going to open it?" the blonde asked, Izzy slapped her forehead.
Confessional.
Izzy
"Lindsay's very lucky to be so sexy, like, really, very lucky."
End of confessional.
Justin took the paper with the combination, "I'll do it," the model said.
But Lindsay snatched the role from him excitedly, "No, I want to do it."
"Lindsay, just give it to me."
"Gosh, but I want to do it."
"Lindsay."
"Let go."
"Lindsay."
In the end they ended up throwing the paper into the water, Izzy picked it up, but the numbers had been erased.
"That's not good," Trent said.
Confessional.
Trent
"Why do I feel like this is karma punishing me for the bad choices I make in life? Argh."
End of confessional.
Izzy squeezed the paper and crumpled it up while grunting in frustration, "So come on, what are the numbers? Read 'em out" asked Justin.
Izzy looked at him with a bad face, "AHHH! I'm surrounded by loons!" the redhead complained.
"Where?" the model asked.
"I love ducks," Lindsay said.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Izzy ran out and screamed.
Confessional.
Izzy
"I miss teaming up with Cody, yes, he has many screws loose, he doesn't let me get away with anything and he talks to animals like they understand him... But at least he always had a solution to problems no matter how hard it was, plus he's so cute when he preoccupies about me... Not to mention, he always made up an excuse to grope me at the most inappropriate time."
End of confessional.
...
Outside the submarine...
Kevin and Butchie were sitting on the edge of the dock, "They're taking their time, do you think they've drowned yet?" asked the prairie dog.
"I don't think so, it's still too early to assume that," the seagull said.
"As far as I know, apes don't breathe underwater... do they?" asked the prairie dog, he doesn't really come out of the burrow much, or interact with apes.
"I don't think so... What do we do until they come back?"
"Do you want to attack the Phony again?" asked the rodent.
"He's the Dark One, I've already told you, and we couldn't get close to him with his mammoth bodyguard nearby," the seagull said, "Why do we try to chase him down after all?"
"I wanted to lock him up, I thought it would be fun... and, by the way, that Dark One thing is nonsense, there's nothing supernatural about him, he's just a deceitful manipulator of a malevolent organization seeking to conquer the world, known in the underworld as the Phony," the rodent said.
"Retract yourself, the Dark One is an evil and very ancient entity that serves and sends sacrifices to Lord Skull, hoping to achieve his resurrection, it takes different forms over time, but its goal is always the same," the seagull said.
Bully rolled his eyes, "Dude, are you listening to what you're saying? You islanders are really crazy."
"The madman is you who fornicates with your own relatives underground, the Dark One is very real."
"He's not, he's the phony."
"Dark one."
"Phony."
"Dark one!"
"Phony one!"
"Enough! Let's fight!" the two began a savage bare-knuckle battle royale.
...
Inside the submarine...
"Ah!", Cody came out of the water to breathe, "it's useless", he said, "I can't see under the water and without the combination there's no way to open that lock", not that I wasn't trying, I could easily hack electronic locks or computers, but I had never tried to open a mechanical lock, and these conditions are not exactly the best place to start learning.
"My boyfriend used to do underwater photo shoots and taught me how to hold my breath for a really long time."
"Forget that," Duncan said, "the water will help us float, we'll get to the upper lock and try to open it."
...
On the Grips' side Harold also came out of the water, "I can't do it. I need more time! If only I had gills."
Confessional.
Harold
" How cool would that be if I had gills? I really should've been born with gills… life can be so unfair."
End of confessional.
"Guys, there's something here," Izzy said as she looked at the upper airlock, "It might be a way out," Justin walked over and between the two of them they opened the airlock.
But on the other side a shark was waiting for them, they quickly closed it again with incredulous looks.
"No good," Justin said as he walked away from the lock, "Any other ideas?"
...
"I've got it," Heather said as the airlock turned.
*Flash*
But she closed it immediately when she realized that fire was coming out of it, "nope, no good," she said as she stuck to Duncan unknowingly, "Any other ideas?" she looked at the arrogantly smiling delinquent and immediately turned away from him annoyed and threw water at him.
...
Camera room...
"Hey, maybe you should stop the water," Chris said worriedly.
Chef rolled his eyes and pulled the lever, but it broke.
"No! What did you do!? We've gotta get the cast out of there! Simple formula! No more contestants equals no more episodes equals no paycheck and with the theft of the previous season, goodbye to the privileges I still have left," Chris said in a panic.
"Texas Hold 'Em?" the chef asked nonchalantly as he reshuffled the cards.
"You're not hearing me!"
...
Submarine...
"There's got to be a way out of here, I mean, Chris wouldn't let us die, would he?" asked Trent.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"... We're done for," Justin said.
"I wish I had taken those diving lessons in Taiti," Izzy lamented.
"Diving, diving... I've got it! I just remembered something," Harold said as he pulled something out of his pocket, it was that morning's straws.
"I don't think the five of us are enough to drink all the water," Lindsay said, the other four looking at her with blank eyes.
...
The Gaffers were up to their necks, Leshawna's hair was an afro again.
"And that's how I die," Gwen said utterly resigned.
"T-This could be it, the end, like, the end end, and I wanna live," LeShawna said in a panic, tears flowing.
Cody saw this as his opportunity.
"Don't cry LeShawna, we'll come up with something," Beth said, unknowingly getting ahead of Cody as she tried to support LeShawna.
The reaction was instantaneous and involuntary, "Who said anything about crying? LeShawna never cries," she said, annoyed.
"You sure blubbered enough when a reward was on the line," Duncan said suspiciously.
Everyone gave the big sister a bad look who had been caught not knowing how to defend herself.
"LeShawna...", Gwen said, completely shocked by what her friend had done.
"You're a total sham!" said Duncan annoyed by this betrayal, and she was supposed to want him to form an alliance with her?
"It can't be," Beth said, completely surprised.
"You mean… Leshawna fake cried to get the reward with Leshaniqua!?" said Heather furiously, "You're gonna pay for this, Big Loud and Proud!" she was about to attack her.
Gwen stood between her team and LeShawna, "wow, wow, calm down a little, this is not the best time to fight," the water was already up to their necks.
"Don't try to defend her just because she's your friend, weird goth girl," Heather said, "in case you didn't notice, she tricked you too."
"It was a silly reward," Gwen said.
"Maybe for you who don't have people to miss outside of this dump," Heather said. Gwen was silent because Heather wasn't wrong, apart from a few friends, she didn't miss anyone enough to have wanted to have the reward, her words had no value here.
"We trusted her and she betrayed us, that's supposed to be Heather's job," Beth said.
"Yeah... Hey!"
"If we can't trust you, then who are we supposed to trust now?" the farmer asked.
LeShawna didn't know what to say, she didn't expect to get caught, the only one on the team who probably didn't hold a grudge against her was Gwen.
"Guys, I don't want to interrupt the dramatic moment," Cody said, drawing his attention, "but you might want to get ready to get as much air as you can," the geek said with water up to his chin.
The others noticed that the water was also up to their chins.
"With my dying breath, I curse your entire family, Leshawna," Heather said.
It seemed that everything was finished, the water had almost completely covered them, soon they would have to submerge. Chris was biting his nails in the control room.
But out of nowhere the water began to descend to the ground, the soaked Gaffers watched this in disbelief.
...
Harold was celebrating underwater after he managed to open the lock with a padlock on his side, he used the straws to do an impromptu snorkel. He and the rest of his team escaped from the submarine. Chris was also celebrating in the camera room; he had managed to avoid the lawsuits.
...
"What happened?" asked Heather.
"We were saved," Beth said relieved.
Everyone looked back at LeShawna, "yes... great," she said half-heartedly.
"This is not over," Duncan said.
Confessional.
LeShawna
"Yes, I'm doomed."
Harold
"You can call me Harold the hero."
End of confessional.

POV. Cody
We were all in dressing gowns by the fire trying to warm up, except me, I just wanted to be part of the group.
Kevin and Butchie were sitting on the ground next to me, it looked like they had been hit by a car.
"What the hell happened to you two?" I asked. They looked at each other and then looked away, I sighed, "you shouldn't fight, it won't result in anything good... for neither."
"Congratulations Killer Grips! You finally managed to win a challenge," Chris said as he shot confetti and blew on a noisemaker.
Of course, the team that snuggled inside their robes wasn't as happy as he was.
"Just tell us what our reward is," Trent said.
"Oh yes, let's see what the Grips won," Chris said, it's a shame their team didn't win when there was a better reward, "an all-expenses paid trip to beautiful British Columbia, that's right, you'll be staying at the luxurious inn upon the volcano! A charming lodge teetering on the edge of a little-known active volcano on Vancouver Island, to get you there, you'll be enjoying an exhilarating eight-day hike up the craggy, treacherous-"
"No thanks, we'll settle for a decent dinner," Justin said.
"Owwww", Harold and Izzy looked quite disappointed, they actually wanted to go on the trip.
Confessional.
Lindsay
"It's the first time we've won and that's all we get; I'm starting to notice a clear favoritism here."
Harold
"I had it all under control, I work best under pressure hahaha, Pressure? Get it? Water pressure? I'm hilarious, even when my life is in danger."
End of confessional.

POV. Duncan
While the Grips were eating good burgers and we were watching them, Heather came up to me.
"LeShawna made fool of us, I hope I can count on you to eliminate her," she told me.
"Someone's trying to get an insurance policy," I scoff, it's clear that Heather isn't going to miss this opportunity to get rid of LeShawna, as much as she is saving her own ass.
"Of course I do," she said, well at least she's honest, "then I'm counting on your vote, don't I?"
"Sure, let's get rid of the phony," Gwen won't be happy when she finds out about this, but no one fools me that way and gets away with it.

POV. Cody
"Mmm~", I was in my trailer still in my dressing gown, Izzy was sitting astride me kissing me very enthusiastically, she was still in her dressing gown too.
While her team had their reward dinner, me and my team retired for the day.
But a moment later Izzy came to my trailer. Without saying a word she pushed me to the edge of the bed, climbed onto my lap and started kissing me.
"Ah," we parted to breathe, her face a little red.
She rose to her full height releasing me for a moment, took the knot of her robe and undid it allowing it to open exposing her naked body in front of me.
No matter how many times I saw her, I always ended up blushing. She came up to me and hugged me, tucking my head between her breasts. We just took a bath so she still smells like soap, she usually tries to smell good before she comes with me.
Her breasts were very warm and soft, "you're kind of affectionate today," I told her.
"Izzy was feeling nostalgic, I missed you so much during today's challenge," she said, still hugging me, "and right now...", she said as I pulled away. Without untying my robe she took my already hard member from looking at her and placed it at the entrance of her wet and exposed lips, "Izzy...", she began to go down introducing it inside her completely without a hint of doubt, "just wants to think about the two of us... t-together," she said with a shudder and a satisfied face.
I felt her warm inside squeezing me giving me quite a bit of pleasure, she put her hands on my shoulders and started moving at a fairly normal pace, bouncing slightly on my lap as my member went in and out of her.
"Ah~," her face was red and her eyes closed as she jumped up. Her robe slipped off her shoulders and her breasts jumped happily in front of my face, it was an incredibly erotic image. I hugged her sucking on one of her breasts, "mmh~", and she held my head so I wouldn't move away.
She started to pick up speed causing me to shudder at the feeling of friction between the two of us, causing me to nibble on her nipple unintentionally, "Izzy... I...", she gave one last strong senton, then I let it all go inside her.
"AHH~!", Izzy twitched and clung to my shoulders, then collapsed on top of me. She let out a pretty loud moan, I hope no one heard it.
We were both panting, but she started moving again while I was still inside her. It felt even wetter than before.
She took my cheeks and kissed me passionately while I was still penetrating her. She was jumping up and down so eagerly now that the bed started to squeak, her tongue invading and exploring my entire mouth.
"Hmm," she moaned slightly as she kissed me. After a little more of this, I felt like I was cumming again. I grabbed her waist and helped her move faster until finally, "MMM~!" she let out a loud, muffled moan.
"Ah," I finally release my mouth leaving a large trail of saliva between our lips.
Izzy licked hers and looked down at me lustfully as I gasped, "hahahaha, that always makes me very dizzy," she said as she rocked a little.
"Uh," she paused for a second as she remembered that I was still inside her, then she smiled wickedly, "Gagh!"
"W-What's wrong Cody?" she asked me, stuttering, her face was sweating, and she could barely hold back as she moved her hips in circles, "Is something bothering you? hahahahahaha, Ah~!", she herself was striving to stick together. She slowly took off her robe and threw it on the ground, "look, here are some cute breasts just for you," she said as she held them in her hands.
This girl was getting more and more lost in lust, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't love that in her.
Without giving her time to react, I turned around, causing her to fall backwards onto the bed. She stared at the ceiling for a second.
The sight of her lying there naked was very tempting, so I didn't think twice before I started moving inside her, ramming her carelessly as she turned completely red and gasped voicelessly.
"This... this... better~," she said with a silly expression. Her breasts still bounced as she looked at me, enjoying each thrust with a smile.
After a while I felt her coming again, I took her hands and shoved it as deep as I could, then I came, "AHH~!", Izzy's face was one of total glee.
I let go of it and came out of it gasping, I felt quite tired, today has been a long day.
"Zzzzz", fortunately I'm not the only one who had enough. Izzy began to snore, indicating that she had fallen asleep.
"That was fast," I smiled, she was so cute like that, you wouldn't think she could rip your head off your shoulders when she gets angry.
I picked her up and put her in bed, then lay down next to her and covered us with a blanket, then I slowly started to fall asleep.
