It was the first ball of the season in Asgard. Everyone was dancing, getting to know each other, some were even courting each other. Loki and his mother, Queen Frigga entered the ball room. Loki didn't seem happy to be there though, he was still grieving the angel he had lost.
Frigga squeezed her son's shoulder. It was hard to see her son in pain. "I'm sure there is someone here who will charm you." She raised her voice. "After all, this is the season the God of Mischief intends to find a wife."
Everyone turned to look towards the prince, who was shocked.
Loki whispered to his mother. "Did you honestly just did that?"
"I believe I did." Frigga grinned. And with that, she walked away, leaving Loki embarrassed.
Suddenly a beautiful young priestess approached him with some charms for finding love. "I am called Priestess Kurai. The Queen bid me give these to you my Lord."
"Ah, the Queen, always one for subtlety," Loki's fingers lightly brushed against hers as he takes the charms, eyes locked with hers for a fleeting second longer than necessary. "I suppose I shall indulge her wishes and see if her... charms lead me to a suitable mate."
Kurai slid a book to him under the charms. "It's new, I thought you'd enjoy it."
Loki's eyes brightened as he noticed the added gift, intrigued by the unexpected present. "Ah, a cunning maiden indeed. You wish to ensnare my interest through literature?" He raised an eyebrow, slowly picking up the book while keeping his gaze locked onto hers.
"Ensnare…?" The girl seemed honestly surprised. "I assure you, twas not my intent. You are merely the only other to appreciate the library as I do, and I sought to enjoy such things with you. 'Tis not my place to ensnare a prince."
The corners of Loki's mouth twitched into a sly smile, his fingers flicking the cover of the book open. "Oh, but that's where you're wrong, sweet priestess. You just have a way of piquing my interest."
"I was able to procure the signature of the mortal author," Kurai gestured to the page. "Think of it as a gift from a friend." She smiled.
Loki left the table and saunters to the nearest bookshelf, carefully placing the newly acquired book beside his other treasured books. "Hmm, well, your way of befriending appears to be... highly effective. I must say, I'm almost intrigued."
Kurai surprised him by coming close and touching his cheek, he stiffened, then found himself leaning in as she spoke. "Are you alright? it seems like the announcement pained you, my lord."
Loki clenched his jaw, a twinge of irritation flashing through his eyes before he forcefully calmed himself. "Merely a minor inconvenience. I'm not one to dwell on mundane details." He offered her another enchanting smile.
"I am sure you have many suitable suitors, worry not."
Loki chuckled softly, a tinge of sadness tingeing the usually bright tone. "Suitors? Oh, indeed they are aplenty. But, none who possess the genuine interest you seem to bear." His eyes trailed briefly towards the window, contemplating things better left unspoken.
"What? women don't like you?" Kurai said angrily. "Want me to curse them?"
Loki narrowed his eyes, in mock anger. "Women? Oh, sweet priestess. It's not that women don't appreciate my charm. Quite the contrary, actually." He leaned in closer with a smirk.
"Oh," The priestess calmed down, and Loki found he missed her righteous indignation on his behalf. "Then good luck finding a wife!" She said this without a hint of sarcasm, so innocent his seduction went unnoticed.
Loki's jaw dropped slightly as he stared at Kurai, utterly taken aback by your unawareness. He burst into laughter. "Oh, sweet maiden! I'm quite certain that once I find a wife, she shall be more than happy to have me."
"Oh good." The priestess was honestly relieved. "I was worried about you."
Loki laughed warmly, a genuine smile gracing his lips. "You truly are something else! It's rare to find someone so caring." He shook his head in disbelief. "Fear not; I am Loki, the God of Mischief. I shall manage just fine."
"Yes but…" Kurai looked out the window in contemplation. "…finding a bride, and finding someone who loves and accepts you are two different things."
Loki's eyes flicked towards the window, then back to meet hers. "You are wise beyond your years, darling. A suitable wife... well, that is indeed a rarity these days. But someone who can see past this façade? Perhaps you're right."
"Yes… well it is nothing to me… priestesses are married to the gods… eventually I will be matched to a god and married to them."
Loki's eyes lit up with intrigue, and he leans in closer, his voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "Ah, matched to a god, will you be?" He paused, his gaze piercing. "Tell me, little one, do you think you would be suitable..."
"Suitable for what, my lord?" The priestess was too innocent to understand what he was alluding to.
Loki's lips quirked up in a mischievous grin, and he leaned back, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Suitable to be my bride, of course." He chuckled at her innocence.
She shrunk back. "You must not… if you touch me… something terrible will happen…"
Loki's grin widened, and he raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Something terrible, you say?" He leans in closer, his voice taking on a flirtatious tone. "I've always been one to tempt fate, darling. The gods themselves know it."
"I don't think… I don't know if… you should…"
Loki's grin faded, and he studied her for a moment, his expression turning serious. "Oh? You're afraid of what might happen?" He reached out and took her hand in his, his gaze locking onto hers. "Don't be."
The second Loki touched Kurai, he reverted to his Jotunn form.
Loki's stare intensified in shock as he transformed. His hand tightened around Kurai's, his eyes never leaving hers. "By the gods! What have you done?!" His skin rippled with power and his voice boomed with an otherworldly tone. "This is... not how I thought this would go."
To his surprise, the priestess eyes teared up in compassion, and she embraced him. "I'm so sorry!"
Loki's massive, Frost Giant arms enveloped Kurai in a crushing embrace, but instead of hurting her, he held her gently, as if savoring the unexpected tenderness. "Ah, mortal..." His voice rumbled, a deep, earthy sound. "You should not apologize. This is... fascinating."
Kurai reached up and stroked the runes on his chest, the pleasure of her touch is so intense that his breath hitched.
Loki's eyes fluttered shut as he felt her touch the ancient runes etched into his skin, the pleasure unlike anything he had ever known. "By the Vanir..." His voice was strangled, his body tensing under her touch. "No one has ever touched me like this before."
Kurai continued to touch him, the pleasure getting stronger and more intense.
Loki's breath hitched as the pleasure courses through him, his body arching under her touch. "I never knew..." His voice was low, barely a whisper. "That this was possible." With a sudden surge of strength, he pulled her closer, his lips crashing onto hers hungrily.
When he kissed her, the pleasure shot straight to his core in a beautiful climactic rush.
The sudden surge of pleasure took him by surprise, and he groaned and gasped as it reached its apex. "By the All-Father..." He whispered, his body trembling with the intensity of the climax. "This is..." He struggled to catch his breath. "Amazing."
