In Bethlehem Asylum, The doctors continued asking Arisu questions.
"When you finally resurfaced, you claimed to be in this Wonderland." Kano said. "Can you tell us where you really were?"
"With a friend." Arisu said carelessly.
"Where?"

Back in Wonderland, Inside the bottle, Arisu and Kaneki quickly became acquainted.
"Tokyo sounds beautiful." Arisu said.
"I hope one day to see it again," Kaneki said. "What place do you call home?"
"England," Arisu replied. "Although it hasn't exactly felt like home, lately."
"So we're both strangers in this most strange land."
Arisu sighed. "Strange is one word for it."
"Wondrous."
"Dangerous." Arisu snapped.
"I sense that you can take care of yourself." Kaneki said. Arisu giggled. "And you have to go back to your land soon?
"Well," Arisu mused. "I do have what I came for."
"Which is what?"
"Proof that all of this is real." She pulled out the Rabbit out of her bag, shrunk down to fun size.
"Proof?" The Rabbit snarled, her wig coming loose. "You want proof. Come here and I'll give you proof."
"A Rabbit in a mask and wig." Kaneki said.
"No one can say I imagined that." Arisu grinned.
"Yes, that much is said." Kaneki said thoughtfully. "So tell me Arisu, who is this proof for? You've risked much to come back here. Is it...a husband?"
"No." Arisu said quickly. "It's no one like that."
"Good." Kaneki said.
"Good?" Arisu said hopefully.
"I-I just mean that you're not separated from your love," Kaneki stammered. "That would be a terrible fate."
"Yes, that would."Arisu grinned, then sobered quickly. "The proof is for my father. He thinks I'm insane."
"Really?" Kaneki reasoned convincingly. "So you're risking your life for someone who doesn't believe in you. You know, when you really love someone you don't need proof. You can feel it."
"Maybe where you're from," Arisu said. "But in my land I'd wish things would..."
"You'd wish things would what?" Kaneki said eagerly. "Anything is possible, this is Wonderland. Tell me your wish."
In Bethlehem Asylum, The doctors continued the interview with Arisu.
"Arisu," Dr Kano said, faux gently. "if you wish to be released from this facility you need to-"
"I don't wish for anything!" Arisu shouted.
"Does this have to do something with the man you believed you met? The ghoul who could grant wishes?" Dr Kano asked. "You told your father that you set him free. That the two of you traveled from world to world. Fighting pirates, swimming with mermaids. And then, men and women being what they are, you fell in love. Are you ready to admit that was a lie as well?"
In Wonderland, in the past, Arisu and Kaneki were enjoying the scenery atop of a cliff looking over the Boiling Sea.
"Curiouser, Curiouser," Arisu said. "I've heard of the Boiling Sea but in person, it's even more amazing."
"As are you." Kaneki said as Arisu nearly slipped, and he caught her. "Be careful. I never met a human quite like you, Arisu."
"I never met a ghoul quite like you," Arisu said. "Well, actually I've never met a Ghoul."
"Okay." Kaneki said. Arisu was confused. "Oh, forgive me, I'm not used to-– "
"What?"
"For a long time I was trapped in the dark and tortured. I only had one wish: To never be a prisoner ever again. But now, I have another." Kaneki looked into her eyes. "Oh, wait I think the people in your world do this down on one knee-–"
"Yes!"
"What?"
"Yes, yes! I will."
"Oh, but I had a whole speech." Kaneki entreated. "It was charming and eloquent and it had–"
Arisu pulled Kaneki up from the ground and they kissed. Then Kaneki's talisman began to glow.
"Our hearts are entwined." Kaneki said. "From now on I will know when you are near. And you will know." They heard marching in the distance. "Arisu, run!"
