"Ok our target is the Sector 5 Reactor," Barret said before he got a look from Naruto.
"What?" Barret asked, seeing the look in his eye.
"It's not going to be that simple. I bet you anything Shinra has something in store for us." Naruto said making Cloud agree with him.
"Are you sure about that Naruto-kun?" Tifa asked while Naruto looked at her and nodded.
"Our IDs might not help us this time around," Naruto said, causing them to nod and go on guard just in case before they split up while Naruto walked towards where Tifa was.
"Not many people on this train and the ones here don't look happy," Tifa said before Naruto placed his hand on her shoulder.
"These people are innocent, I know. Nothing bad is going to happen to them or you. I'll keep you all safe," Naruto said with a smile making her worries vanish just by his words alone before they heard a commotion making Naruto groan.
"Damn it, Barret," Naruto said, making Tifa giggle before he went to the next car seeing the same Shinra employee that had a spat with Barret before.
"Why you little," Barret was about to say more before Naruto stopped him.
"Barret enough," Naruto said, getting in between them before looking the Shinra employee in the eye.
"As for you, you're going to walk away from this and you are going to go sit down in that seat over there," Naruto said, pointing to the seat further away from Barret not noticing his eyes turning silver.
"I am going to walk away and sit far away from this man," the Shinra employee said before turning around and going to sit down, surprising Barret.
"The hell you just do?" Barret asked before Naruto shook his head.
"Honestly I am not too sure myself," Naruto said just as confused before he continued. "Anyway you have got to learn to control that temper of yours Barret you are a leader that means you are supposed to set an example. What are the rest of us supposed to think if we see you getting into pointless spats with people too arrogant to know any better?" Naruto said, making Barret grumble and Cloud chuckle.
"Perhaps you should be the leader then Mr. Calm and Composed," Cloud said, making Naruto fall on his face with his foot twitching causing Cloud and Barret to laugh.
"You guys are so mean to me you know?" Naruto said, chuckling, getting back up before he went to check on Tifa and found her sitting down. But stopped when an emergency ID scan was initiated.
"I knew it was just too good to be true," Naruto said before Tifa started to panic.
"Relax, it is just a slight mishap nothing to worry about," Naruto said before the train windows were busted and security drones came flying in annoying Naruto.
"Of course, I have been proven wrong before," Naruto said annoyed before they started attacking.
"Get these people out of here. I'll take care of these things," Naruto said before he smirked at Cloud who took out his sword.
"Let's do this," Naruto said, making Cloud nod before they attacked the drones.
~a few seconds later~
"Head for the next car," Cloud said before he and Naruto ran to the next car and opened the door as more drones busted in before they were back to back.
"Just like old times huh Cloud?" Naruto asked, making him chuckle as they continued their dance of death with the drones before Naruto saw the same Shinra employee with a drone closing in on him before he rushed it and took it down.
"Get out of here now," Naruto said with his back facing him.
"But I am Shinra," the employee said, confused about why he was helping them.
"That may be but the safety of the people comes first before my grudge with Shinra now get going," Naruto said, making him nod but making him think that what he was doing at Shinra was perhaps wrong.
"Tifa, please slow the train down. Cloud slash the door we are jumping," Naruto said, surprising them all except Cloud.
"Naruto is right, the Station will be swarming with security," Cloud said before slashing the door while Tifa slammed her fist against a button to slow the train down.
"Barret, Cloud you jump first," Naruto said fighting off more drones before they did as told before Tifa hesitated before Naruto was beside her and gripped her hand with his making her smile before they jumped. Naruto willingly took the brunt of the damage and Tifa lay on him.
"Ok maybe that was not the best idea I ever had but it worked," Naruto said while Tifa giggled despite the position they were in before she felt compelled to kiss him for some reason and did what she felt was right before leaning down and kissing him while Naruto held her and kissed back clashing their tongues against each other before the broke off a few seconds later.
"Oh, my Miss Lockhart I didn't know you wanted me that bad. But are you sure we should do it here?" Naruto asked with a grin making her blush and slapped him on the chest making him chuckle.
"I see Jessie is rubbing off on you Naruto-kun," Tifa said, making him chuckle more before he groaned seeing more drones.
"Incoming," Naruto said annoyed before Tifa got off him and got ready for combat.
"Allow me, we don't have any time to waste," Naruto said, placing his hand on her shoulder and then groaning, feeling an influx of power enter his body.
"Naruto-kun are you ok?"Tifa asked, concerned making Naruto nod before he slashed a few drones with Tifa following suit.
~a few minutes later~
"That should be the last of them," Tifa said, making him nod.
"Tifa-chan I forgot to ask, did you pick up anything before coming here?" Naruto asked, making her nod.
"I picked up a Chakra Materia which works well with me why?" Tifa asked.
"Could I borrow it for a bit?" Naruto asked while Tifa lent it to him without question before he put it to his chest and it slid into the slot on his armor. Then Naruto took a knee almost like he was in pain worrying Tifa greatly before Naruto smiled feeling a pulse he hadn't felt since arriving here.
"At long last I feel complete," Naruto said before the pulse changed from a blue to a silvery blue but felt something else as well. "No wait I feel even better somehow," Naruto finished feeling his Mana pools shoot through the roof.
"Naruto-kun?" Tifa asked before he turned to look at her, making her gasp and blush for some reason not even she knew.
'Wow I can't explain it but it feels like I am in the presence of a Divine being,' Tifa thought, rubbing her legs to try and stem off the heat she was feeling.
"We better hurry, Barret and Cloud are probably worried about us," Naruto said while Tifa nodded, thankful for the distraction. Then she gasped when she felt herself in Naruto's arms making her blush more.
"I thought we would run," Naruto said before he took off, surprising Tifa with his speed.
'Wow, I never knew Naruto-kun was this fast. But what possessed me to kiss him?' Tifa thought to herself before she decided to close her eyes and enjoy being in his arms for as long as possible.
Unaware they were being watched.
~Shinra HQ~
"Yes, that's it, my favorite weapon please show us more," a person sitting in a chair said. He has a muscular build, fair skin, brown eyes, a scar across his right eye, short and slicked graying black hair, and a bushy beard. He wears a dark green military tunic with maroon and yellow accents, a black dress shirt, a red tie, gold cuff links, black buttons, black slacks, and black boots. This was Heidegger, Executive director of public security.
"Sir we have the man with the gun-arm," a Shinra trooper said, making Heidegger sigh.
"Return it to the wild," Heidegger said while the trooper saluted and went to carry out his orders while Heidegger laughed.
~with Naruto and Tifa~
"Naruto-kun could you put me down now?" Tifa asked despite wanting the opposite before Naruto slowed down and switched to the other side when he heard a train coming.
"Do I have to?" Naruto wined making Tifa giggle before she nodded making him pout but did what she asked.
"Thank you Naruto-kun," Tifa said, kissing his cheek, making him nod before they started running, taking out any drones they spotted.
~10 minutes later~
Soon after ten minutes Tifa and Naruto started hearing gunfire before they looked at each other and nodded. Then ran up a flight of stairs and down another set before linking up with Barret and Cloud.
~a few minutes later~
"Well this is fun," Naruto said, taking out the last drone making the others nod before Barret looked at the two.
"By the way, what kept you?" Barret asked.
"Sorry but Naruto-kun decided to make a few detours," Tifa said smiling, making Naruto look at her in shock.
"Well excuse me for slashing Shinra boxes and opening a chest that contained 2 Hi-potions," Naruto said pouting while Cloud and Barret chuckled and Tifa giggled before hugging him pushing her breasts into his chest.
"Awe there now Naruto-kun you know I love you," Tifa said with a smile making him grin before ascending a set of steps and looking at a railway map.
"So if I am reading this right we are here. Which means we need to get here to arrive at the Sector 5 Station," Naruto said pointing to their location and then pointing to where they needed to go making them nod.
Then Naruto held out his hand and fired off a lightning blast to his right destroying a camera and shocking the others.
"What? We were being watched," Naruto said, making them nod, confusing Barret wondering how he knew but just let it go.
~Shinra HQ~
"Yes sir it will be done," Heidegger said on the phone to his boss before he hung up and a Shinra trooper walked up to him telling him about the casualties making him groan.
"You think I care about casualties? They are nothing but cannon fodder to me," Heidegger said with a sneer. "If you are that worried, round up others from Sector 3 now be gone with you," Heidegger finished.
"Sir," the trooper said before he left.
"What would everyone do without me?" Heidegger asked not expecting an answer before he started laughing like a madman.
~with Naruto and company~
"So how much further?" Naruto asked running with the others while carrying Tifa on his back, much to her embarrassment and secret pleasure.
"Until we come across a stamp on a wall with a flight of stairs," Barret said looking at him.
Or more specifically Tifa seeing how relaxed she was despite her red face.
"So graffiti on the wall got it," Naruto said while Barret nodded that was indeed one way to put it.
~5 minutes later~
"Well that was entertaining," Naruto said while the group nodded having found the Stamp they were looking for after taking out more monsters.
"But the monsters were still weak," Tifa said as the team took out an Elite Grenadier, Two Guard dogs, and two Slug Rays while also getting an Elixir, Either, and Star Pendant.
"Well at least we got some stuff along the way," Cloud said, making the others nod before continuing until they found what they were looking for.
~a few minutes later~
"Well there is your graffiti people," Barret said, showing a dog with his nose pointed in the direction that needed to go before they started going up the stairs.
"Heads up we got Wererats," Naruto said before they took them out in seconds without even trying then proceeded forward to the second set of stairs but stopped to get a chest that contained 2 Antidotes.
"Hold up guys, is that a nest?" Tifa asked, looking at a white nest.
"Bet you anything Shinra did this," Naruto said while Barret and Cloud nodded.
"Oh ya this has Shinra written all over it," Barret said, confirming what Naruto said.
Then they charged in and started attacking while Cloud assessed the new creature which just so happened to be a Grashtrike which like the Wererats was weak to Ice which they took full advantage of.
"Ok let's go everyone. But be on guard, these things have a Queen somewhere," Naruto said while the others nodded, proceeding with caution since he was with Shinra longer he was the monster expert.
Or so they thought. Unaware there was one creature even he feared.
~several minutes later~
"Well, that was annoying. I've never seen so many webs," Tifa groaned while Naruto rubbed her shoulders making her sigh.
"At least we see the hive," Naruto said before they saw a HUGE Grashtrike.
"That must be the Queen," Barret said before Cloud assessed it.
"Well at least it is weak to Ice like the rest," Cloud said, making Naruto grin before they charged it.
"Hit it with everything you got," Naruto said before they all started launching Ice spells at it, staggering it and going nuts.
~a few minutes later~
"Well that was amusing," Naruto said before he blasted the colony with fire and destroyed everything that might have been in there.
"Yep and at least you didn't get eaten this time," Cloud said, smirking making Tifa's eyes widen before she looked at Naruto while Barret laughed.
"When did you get eaten?" Tifa asked.
"This was back when I was Shinra and I was surprised by a Molboro and a Behemoth. Both of which were REALLY disgusting and thank you for bringing that up again Cloud," Naruto said giving his partner an unamused look and making him chuckle.
"Well, at least you got revenge by eating the Behemoth. Even if you couldn't eat the Molboro," Cloud said, making Naruto grin at how satisfied he was after he ate the Behemoth.
Soon Naruto and company continued before finding a set of stairs with the same graffiti on it before he spotted a chest then opened it to see 3 Phoenix downs.
"Anyone care for a little rest?" Naruto asked before sitting down. Then Tifa surprised him by sitting down in his lap, this time not moving. Making Naruto smile gently and wrapping his arms around her waist.
~10 minutes later~
Soon ten minutes passed before everyone stood but feeling well rested and continued onward.
"Don't think I didn't feel what you were doing to me with your butt Tifa-chan," Naruto said whispering into her ear before nibbling it, making her blush. Then she gasped when he swatted her ass and ran to catch up with the others leaving a blushing Tifa to run after them.
~a few minutes later~
"Hey watch this," Naruto said seeing Shinra officers and what looked like a flamethrower trooper.
Then Naruto held out his hand and pointed it at the flamethrower trooper.
"Firaga," Naruto said firing the fire spell at the back of the pack on his back before it blew up taking him and the officers with them.
"Well that solves that problem," Naruto said while Barret chuckled and Tifa gave him a look.
"Was that really necessary?" Tifa asked while Naruto looked at her and grinned.
"Using Firaga? No, but it would have blown up anyway if it was hit," Naruto said while Cloud nodded seeing his point before the group continued onward. Then the group located the gate.
However, instead of opening it Naruto did a bicycle kick and sent the gate flying and crashed against the wall while everyone looked at him in amusement.
"Tired of gates already Naruto-kun?" Tifa asked with a giggle seeing his annoyed look before they walked to a set of stairs with a map on it.
"There is an old rail yard not too far from here what we are looking for here is somewhere inside," Barret said before Naruto looked at him.
"So what like a secret passageway?" Naruto asked making Barret nod.
~Shinra HQ~
"Sir I have compiled a report," a trooper said but was stopped when Heidegger slammed his hand down on the armrest.
"What good do you think a damn report is going to do anyone?" Heidegger said in annoyance.
"I don't sir," the trooper said.
"Have you forgotten the war with Wutai?" Heidegger said making them shake their head.
"We will prepare the prototype in Section E," the trooper said before he and his troops left.
'I hate my job,' the trooper thought.
"Another day and another victory," Heidegger said before laughing like a madman. (I really hate this guy)
~with Naruto and company~
"Great more tracks," Naruto said in annoyance making Barret raise his brow.
"I thought you have been down here before?" Barret asked before Naruto looked at him.
"In a train yes running on train tracks no. Nor will I ever do so again," Naruto said before he and the rest took off.
~10 minutes later~
"Incoming," Naruto said before he grabbed everyone and switched tracks just in time before the train passed them.
"Since when did you get so fast?" Barret asked before he looked at a Materia in his chest armor.
"I'll tell ya at a later date now isn't the time. Especially when I don't exactly know when a train is going to kill us," Naruto said before they took off running again.
~a few minutes later~
"Hey, what's that?" Tifa asked seeing a gate before they hid behind a crate.
"Damn security is a lot tighter than I thought," Barret said before Naruto took a Grenade and tossed it at the guards before it blew up.
*BOOM*
"That takes care of that," Naruto said before everyone looked at him.
"How many of those do you have Naruto?" Cloud asked looking at his friend.
"I didn't bother counting," Naruto replied making Barret laugh.
"Well anyway looks like it worked," Tifa said before she walked forward toward the stairs only for 2 missile pods to rise from the floor and took aim at her before Naruto rushed over and pushed her out of the way taking the hit making her eyes widen.
"NARUTO-KUN NO!" Tifa shouted in horror believing she just got her friend killed because she was careless. Only to calm down a few moments later when the smoke cleared showing Naruto with Eisenmeteor before he fired an electric blast frying the missile pods.
"I hate missile pods," Naruto said very much annoyed by this point. Before Tifa rushed over to him checking for injuries making Cloud and Barret smirk.
"I am fine Tifa-chan," Naruto said making her sigh before she gripped his collar and glared at him.
"Don't you ever do that again you understand me? You could have been killed," Tifa said in anger before she blushed when Naruto kissed her forehead.
"You know you're cute when you worry about me," Naruto said, making Tifa blush more before putting him down, then crossing her arms under her breasts, and huffing, making everyone chuckle.
"Let's hit the stairs," Naruto said making Barret and Cloud nod running ahead. Then Naruto surprised Tifa by squeezing her ass making her squeal before he passed her missing her massive blush.
'He is so lucky I have started to fall for him,' Tifa thought before following just in time to see Naruto send another gate flying with a kick.
"You know you could just open it," Tifa said with a smile making Naruto chuckle.
"I could but where is the fun in that," Naruto said making Barret and Cloud laugh and making Tifa sigh but smile all the same.
"Let's go people," Barret said before Naruto led the way and took a detour hearing something.
"Hey look an item machine," Cloud said before Naruto walked up to it to see if there was anything they needed before picking up a few items and another soundtrack that said Stamp.
"Ok I am seriously becoming a music collector here," Naruto said getting laughs and giggles from his friends before he saw a bench.
"Last chance to rest if you need it. I have a feeling we are about to be in the fight of our lives here," Naruto said before they took his word on it and decided to rest. Tifa once again sat in his lap much to everyone's amusement not that she cared enough to be embarrassed this time while Naruto wrapped his arms around her waist again.
"Naruto-kun are you sure there is going to be trouble?" Tifa asked it wasn't like she didn't believe him. Matter of fact she trusted his sense of danger whenever he felt something big was coming.
"I am almost sure of it my danger senses are going insane right now," Naruto said placing his head on her shoulder.
"Meaning something big is about to happen," Cloud said as the last time Cloud heard of Naruto's Danger Sense a Molboro and a Behemoth literally ate him.
"Right you are Cloud," Naruto said before they rested for a bit longer.
~20 minutes later~
"Ok break times over and remember keep your eyes open," Naruto said as everyone geared up before Tifa got off Naruto's lap much to her displeasure before they left.
~a few moments later~
"Hold it," Naruto said sticking his arm out as his Danger Sense went nuts making them all stop.
"Cloud, Barret arm yourselves," Naruto said taking Ravelt out before they walked to a pile of scrap they thought was just that scrap.
Then the supposed scrap started moving showing that it was some sort of crap.
"Cloud assess," Naruto ordered making him nod before he assessed the machine showing it to be a Crab Warden which was weak to lightning.
"Ok here is the plan go for the legs 2 should do right now. I'll draw its attention away from you three," Naruto said while Tifa looked worried but nodded anyway.
"Hey Crabby bet ya can't hit me," Naruto said before the machine aimed at him then he dodged while Tifa, Cloud, and Barret attacked its legs.
"Is that all you got?" Naruto said before he dodged another hail of bullets.
"Ok this is just sad even Tifa-chan hits harder than you," Naruto said making Tifa frown a bit remembering when she slapped him before her eyes widened hearing Naruto shout before looking over to him holding his left arm.
"Ok I deserved that," Naruto said before he heard a shout of fury and he saw Tifa start laying into the second leg before she staggered it.
"Way to go Tifa-chan now light him up people," Naruto said as the four of them started casting lightning.
Then it backed up and summoned more monsters.
"Great just what we need more drones," Naruto said annoyed.
"Ok, slightly new plan attack the drones. I'll turn this thing into scrap," Naruto said blasting it with lightning and staggering it again before he attacked it while Cloud, Tifa, and Barret attacked the drones which proved to be no challenge to them.
With them out of the way Tifa, Cloud, and Barret were free to help Naruto take out the third leg before it backed off and shut down making them think they won.
"So did we win?" Barret asked only for it to come back online and try to run them over forcing them to jump out of the way.
"That would be a negative," Cloud said before they continued their attack only for it to light up.
"Be ready for anything," Naruto said before he shouted in pain after he was electrocuted and fell to the ground twitching.
"Ok, I'm in pain now. Oh and stay off the tracks," Naruto said, twitching more from the shocks.
"Ya know what? I am so getting tired of this," Tifa said seeing what just happened and was actually pissed off.
"That makes two of us so now I am going to finish it," Naruto said getting back to his feet as sparks bounced off him. Then raising his hand as it began sparking.
"EVERYONE TAKE COVER!" Cloud shouted before they all took cover before hearing a roar then looked up before widening their eyes when they saw a dragon's head made out of lightning.
"Be gone with the thunderclap KIRIN!" Naruto shouted before bringing his hand down as the dragon descended on the machine this time putting it out of commission for good.
"That's right and stay down," Barret said before they walked away just as it blew up. Before Naruto was sent to the floor due to a gear flying out of the machine and nailing him in the back of the head.
"MOTHER FUCKER THAT HURT. WHY DOES EVERYTHING HATE ME TODAY!" Naruto shouted crying anime tears while the others laughed at his misfortune including Tifa.
~Shinra HQ~
"Sir the armor has been brought down. As well as the feed and an anomaly of sorts occurred," a Shinra trooper said reporting to Heidegger annoying him further.
"An anomaly? Or an excuse to properly prepare the armor like you should have?" Heidegger asked with a sneer.
"Sir it is far more likely that the sensors were overloaded," the trooper said making Heidegger sigh.
Then another trooper handed him his phone showing it was his boss calling him before Heidegger told him everything was fine before he hung up and handed the trooper his phone.
"If it was an anomaly then you better hope the armor is intact so we can determine this anomaly," Heidegger said before getting up. "However, should you fail to do so you will handle the intruders personally," Heidegger said making the trooper sweat.
"Yes sir," the trooper said nervously before Heidegger smirked.
"Don't worry I treat my men more the fair. So you better not disappoint me," Heidegger said making the trooper shiver in fear before Heidegger started laughing. (I honestly had a dark chill going down my spine when he said that)
~with Naruto and company~
"The passage is through these shipping containers," Barret said before he started sliding in between them.
"Naruto-kun you sure you are ok?" Tifa asked looking at her friend who nodded.
"Ya, I am good. Thought I wasn't expecting that thing to be difficult," Naruto said making her and Cloud nod before they slid between the containers.
"By the way you bump into any giant machines like that in Reactor 1?" Tifa asked.
"Ya the thing looked like a giant Scorpion before Naruto here shut it down pretty fast," Barret said making Tifa look at her friend who nodded. "Speaking of which what would you say that last one looked like?" Barret finished going down a ladder after Cloud making Tifa pause before Naruto answered for her.
"Well Cloud said it was a Crab Warden so I guess you could say a crab," Naruto said after Tifa made it to the ground. "Though it doesn't matter anymore since the thing is dead now," Naruto finished making them nod before they came upon a lift and boarded.
"Just so you know this won't get any easier," Barret said before Cloud and Naruto smirked.
"When does it ever?" they asked at the same time making Tifa giggle and Barret smirk.
There you have it folks the next chapter.
This one wasn't as bad. Certainly wasn't my favorite but it wasn't bad.
We have Naruto and company making their way to Sector 5 Reactor. Naruto finally getting his Chakra back. A little bit more romance with Tifa though I wouldn't say romance more like Tifa and Naruto still preferring to stay friends for a bit longer despite the kiss and Tifa sitting in his lap.
Then fighting the annoying Crab Warden.
Now a reviewer asked for me to add Scarlet as a redemption kind of thing. Well, let's just say I'll make it happen but they won't be able to meet until Rebirth.
