Ch57
Alabaster stood in the command tent looking down at the map of the battle field with Percy and the other Cabin Heads. The atmosphere was tense as Percy looked down at the map with trepidation in his eyes.
"They are pressing us on all sides," Michael Yew muttered. "We are holding them off the best we can but I don't' know for how long."
A few other cabin heads nodded in agreement. Clarisse stepped frowned. "I'll kill any bastard that tries that Kronos sends at me."
"I had a dream of my father," Percy said as he gazed at the map. "He is with the other gods now fighting Typhon. All we have to do now is hold on until they get manage to get here."
"We are at the end game." Medea came into the room, her eyes had bags underneath them yet they also looked determined. "How are actions in the next few hours will determine how things end."
"She's right," Chiron said as he entered the tent. "We should be prepared for anything at this moment." The centaur's gaze rested up on everyone in this room. "I've done my best to train you all for a day like this and I know each and everyone one of you are a hero deep down."
A hero. He looked over at Ethan who was looking down at the map on the table. His heart raced a bit as he thought of the word. Who would've thought we all would put our lives on the line for Olympus.
The gods have usually overlooked the minor deities and many of them were fighting against them now for the centuries of mistreatment. They'll know now that my mother fights with all her might and is just as important as they are.
"We'll distribute the remaining healing potions and conduct healing spells on those that need it," Medea said.
Percy nodded. "Alright lets give it our all."
"For Olympus!" They all said.
The sounds of battle surrounded him as he moved through the front lines, casting quick glances around to take in the chaos. Annabeth was right beside him, her knife flashing as she drove it into the hide of a snarling monster.
They fought with coordinated precision, weaving around each other and picking off creatures one by one. His hands glowed faintly with a green aura as he muttered an incantation, hurling bolts of energy that cut down anything that came too close.
Beside him, she struck down a hellhound and gave him a look, her eyes hard with determination. "Do you think…" she hesitated, eyes shifting, "…do you think you can still help Luke?"
He frowned, firing another blast of green energy at a nearby monster, watching it disintegrate in a puff of ash. "I can do the spell," he replied, voice steady but tense. "But it's risky. And there's no guarantee."
Annabeth's eyes brightened, just for a moment. "That's something," she murmured, relief flickering across her face before she turned to strike down another creature. But that hope didn't last long.
"Regroup!" Ethan's voice cut through the noise, urgent and tense. He turned to see Ethan sprinting toward them, a line of monsters closing in from behind. "They're launching an all-out assault!"
He glanced at Annabeth, only to see a towering monster lunging toward her from behind, its claws outstretched, eyes gleaming with savage intent. Without thinking, he grabbed her by the shoulder, yanking her out of the way just as the creature's claws slashed through the air where she'd been standing.
"Watch it!" he muttered, shoving her aside as he stepped forward, his eyes narrowing at the creature. With a low chant, green fire erupted from his hands, a wave of flames surging forward and engulfing the monster. It let out a screech, writhing in agony before collapsing into a heap of ashes
She shot him a quick look, breathless. "Thanks."
He shrugged, waving off her gratitude as they turned back toward the defensive line. "Don't mention it. We're on the same side."
They could see his Aunt Medea riding her chariot with her dragons incinerating the enemy ranks while Daedalus was ordering the Ladon II and Talos II to squash the enemies. Every camper was doing their part as they tried to push back the hoard of enemy monsters.
"I'll go with my siblings," Annabeth said as she drew her dagger.
He nodded and quickly summoned all his mistforms. "Take out as many of the enemy as you can!" he ordered as he ran towards the Hecate cabin.
Pan grinned as he lunged at the hoard of monsters while Icarus fired arrows from the sky. Meanwhile his butler followed him and turned every monster they came across to stone.
He swore as he casted another spell at the advancing monsters. "Hold your positions!" he yelled as all the demigods tried to form a defensive position against the onslaught of the Titan army.
Damn it not now. He casted a few others spells as his familiars fought off every monster that came too close. In the distance he could see their robots fighting against the monsters crushing them as more and more fell upon them.
Suddenly a cold laughter rippled throughout the area. "A brave fight demigods but alas your time is up," Kronos said coldly as his chariot pulled up. "Surrender or perish."
Percy gripped his sword his body shaking as he stared down the Titan Lord. "Never. We'll never surrender."
It was then that the ground shook. He nearly fell over as the ground split open and a large chariot followed by the host of the undead appeared. Hades stood fully armored with his wife and Demeter in the chariot.
"I hope you all intend on paying tribute," Kronos growled.
Hades gripped the reins of the chariot. "While I don't usually get along with my siblings we all agree that you were a terrible father!"
Kronos laughed. "A pity. Your son saw the truth, it's a pity that you couldn't."
Hades raised his hand and his forces fell upon the titan army just as a familiar presence filled the air as a faint green smoke filled the area.
Kronos quickly raised his scythe as a flash of green filled the area. "You think you can stand against me?"
His eyes widened as he saw his mother Hecate her torches in hand as she blocked Kronos' scythe but barely.
"Mother!"
"Defend Olympus!" Hecate yelled as she managed to parry one of Kronos' strikes.
His eyes began to water, there was no way she could hold of Kronos for long. He quickly ran to Percy and grabbed him by the shoulder. "Percy go!"
The son of Poseidon did a double take. "What?"
"We'll hold them off here!" The sound of an explosion rippled throughout the area as Hades and Hecate tried to hold Kronos back. "We need to go to Olympus now and defend it!"
Percy looked at him and slowly nodded. "Fine but I want you to come with me. It's only right."
"I'll be with you shortly," he said as a small explosion rippled throughout the area. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw Nemesis assisting his mother. "Go! The other gods should be coming soon we have to hold Kronos off now!"
Percy nodded. "I'll be waiting for you up there. Annabeth! Thalia come on!"
He stepped in front of Percy as he ran into the Empire State Building followed by Annabeth and Thalia. Alright lets do this.
His muscles ached as he stepped forward. "Hecate Cabin hold them back with whatever you got! Lets show Olympus what we can do! Incantare: Fulgur!"
He raised his hands and unleashed the spell and unleashed a wave of green lighting as his siblings casted various spells hit Kronos. The Titan Lord Kronos met his gaze and laughed. "Foolish boy your tricks won't work on me." Kronos then slammed his scythe into the ground causing it to shake as a wave of power and energy that rippled throughout the area.
He swore as he was thrown back along with most of the campers around him. He tried to get up but he noticed Kronos' chariot fly through the air and towards Olympus.
"Damn it," his body shook as he got up and saw the Titan army charging at them.
His mother appeared in front of him her face bloodied as she swung her torch and summoned a wall of green fire. "Go help Percy Jackson!"
He did a double take. "But what about you? Mother you're injured."
"I can handle this. Go now! They'll need all the help they can get." His mother raised her torch and summoned a wave of fire to push the enemy army back.
He turned to Ethan. "I'll be back."
The son of Nemesis nodded. "Good luck."
With that he turned and ran towards the Empire State Building. Be safe guys. His heart raced in his chest as he ran up towards Olympus passing by various destroyed objects.
He quickly ran through Olympus and towards the throne room where he heard the sound of fighting. "Please give it to me quickly!"
He paused. That's Luke's voice.
His eyes widened as he quickly ran inside the throne room and saw Luke gripping Annabeth's knife and plunging it into his weak spot.
Annabeth looked at him. "Do it now!"
He didn't have to be told twice. "Incantare: Spiritum Eicere!" His hand glowed with the light of magic as he struck Luke's body in the chest. His eyes widened as his spirit was thrown out of his body.
Come on work. His body shook as he did his best to maintain the spell.
The eyes in Luke's bodies went white as flickers of gold appeared in his eyes. . "N-No!" Kronos rasped as dark smoke fell from Luke's body and the scythe turn into sludge.
Ok lets see if this works. As soon as Luke's body fell he withdrew his arm and Luke's soul returned to it. Sweat formed on his brow as Luke's soul reentered his body and began to shake his eyes whitening.
They all paused. "Al what did you do?" Percy asked carefully
He stumbled back as he carefully watched the body twitch. Suddenly Luke's eyes shot open. "What the hell was that?"
"Luke!" Annabeth yelled as Thalia covered her mouth.
"Well it worked," he muttered just as the doors of Olympus burst open and the gods came in with their weapons drawn.
