Chapter Three: Special Program

Miyu finished shaking Doctor Tada's right hand and gave her a smile. She gave a nod to Miss Takeda and the pair began to walk outside the hospital room. Miyu followed Chika down a hall, and out of the hospital wing of the staff building.

Miyu and Chika walked side by side down a hallway in the staff building. They reached the end of the hallway and entered the entrance to the building. They walked to the door. Chika opened it, and they began to walk outside the building.

"Don't worry girl," Miss Takeda began. "I'm not here to escort you because you are in trouble," as Miyu nodded. "One of my jobs is to help new girls learn the way around all the buildings which isn't easy for other girls to help with," as they walked on the sidewalk. "Not all girls get placed into the same program."

"I see," replied Miyu. "I assume that means once I know my way around, I'll be expected to handle my own schedule."

"That's right," praised Miss Takeda. "We have pride in our excellence of helping teens who made a mistake or several mistakes in their lives." She paused. "And we help guide them onto the right path," as she smiled as they saw the high school. "This is why at level one girls have access to all these shops as it provides each teen an incentive to be well behaved."

"I gotcha," chirped Miyu said as they saw the entrance to the high school. "Sounds like quite the incentive to me."

"Indeed," agreed Miss Takeda. She opened the door to the school and the pair walked inside. "Some people think the program has too many benefits, but they are in the minority," as they turned to a hallway to the left. "I think it works. It gives teens a chance to have a normal education and life experience while they are here."

"I like it," chirped Miyu. "At least I know if I am a good girl," as she took a breath. "That I can have a life outside of school and any program I get into."

Meanwhile, Soun, Kasumi, Nabiki, and Akane all stared in shock as they heard Nodoka say Miyu's new legal name. Genma took a deep breath as Nodoka filled them in…

"Genma," exhaled Soun as he took a deep breath. "Why did you fold on this issue," as he sighed. "Surely…"

"Old Friend," gasped Genma with a frown. "Nodoka helped teach me as did Chieko that a martial artist uses their strength for." He saw Soun's eyes light up. "Self-defense, to defend others, enlightenment, and personal growth," as he took a deep breath. "These days no matter what happens I don't intend to violate that again. Nodoka agrees and I taught Miyu that lesson."

"I understand," sighed Soun. "It's just so hard to imagine that it has come to this," as he gave a smile. "Yet you are of course right my wife Chieko would say the same thing if she was still alive," as he gave his daughters a huge smile. He saw Kasumi, Nabiki, and Akane each return his smile.

"No kidding," agreed Genma as he shook his head. "More importantly what do Nodoka, and I do from here," as he touched his heart. "It's mostly my fault that she is there…I just need to think of an idea to support my daughter." He closed his eyes for a moment. "I still have much more to learn myself, Old Friend about enlightenment, you know?" He saw Soun nod.

"I hope Miyu is a good girl so we can see her in a month," sniffled Nodoka as she hugged her husband.

"Oh my," stuttered Kasumi. "A whole year in Correctional Education," as she shook her head. "Isn't that kinda harsh…"

"Perhaps," sighed Nabiki. "They weren't wrong though school delinquency has been on the rise," as she saw Akane begin to get upset. "And the case may have been what the government needed." She took a breath. "To make an example out of the Saotome Family and to send as a message to all the families of Japan."

"If I know Miyu," chirped Akane. "She'll just come out of it as a tomboy like I am," as Nabiki shook her head. "We've known each other since we were three years old..."

"No chance baby sis," exhaled Nabiki as her voice made Akane jump in rage. She saw Akane begin to raise her right fist. "Calm down and listen," as her little sis did so. "Years ago, a friend of mine got sent," as everyone stared in shock. "Tomboy just like you little sis," as she wiped away a tear. "Girl got into a fight with another girl…"

"I didn't know that had happened," exclaimed Akane with wonder in her voice.

"Aye," soothed Nabiki. "Long story short when she came out of the Correctional Education for Girls she was as feminine as a teen girl can get."

"Oh wow," chirped Kasumi. "Then does that mean Miyu will be an ultra-feminine teen girl when she is released as well?"

"That can't be," Akane said as she stayed in denial. "Ranma was as manly as they come."

"Doesn't matter," sighed Nabiki as she wiped away another tear. "The Correctional Education Program is directed by the government," as she took a deep breath. "Which will be run in reflection of Japanese values," as she shook her head.

"I agree with Nabiki," hummed Kasumi. "For Miyu to be in the program for girls means she'll be surrounded by feminine hormones every day," as she looked downcast. "Not to mention her feminine body from that surgery and all of that," as Akane looked down. Her hands twiddling. "She'll feminize and likely quickly if she hasn't already."

"She's right," agreed Nodoka slowly. "The reality is we'll all need to get used to Miyu being a feminine girl when she leaves," as she held her husband's hand. Soun looked sad as did his daughter's Kasumi, Nabiki, and Akane.

"Will Miyu be allowed visitors other than family?" Soun finally asked minutes later. "As Akane said my girls and I have known Miyu a long time," as he cried. "It would be a shame not to see her for a whole year," as he saw his daughter's nod.

"No idea," alluded Genma as he sighed. "We meet Mrs. Morita later today. We'll know after the meeting," as they all got lost in thought. Each in the room thought of the moment they last spent with Ranma as it was truly the last time for each of them…

Miyu followed Miss Takeda as she walked into the High School. She walked down the left hallway and into a classroom.

"Hello ladies," Miss Takeda. "Here is Miss Saotome," as they stood up and shook Miyu's right hand.

"Hi Miss Saotome. I'll be your Homeroom Teacher. My name's Etsu Sera," gushed Mrs. Sera as she shook Miyu's hand. Mrs. Sera had short black hair and black eyes. She wore a white blouse and a black skirt. She wore socks and high heels.

"Hello Miss Saotome. My name's Aiko Konda," Mrs. Konda said as she finished shaking Miyu's right hand. She had long blonde hair in a ponytail. Her blue eyes showed her warmth. She wore a long red dress that fell to her feet. She wore red socks and high heels. "I understand you are interested in enrolling into the special program. That's great," as she had a huge smile.

"Miss Takeda," Mrs. Sera began. "We got it from here," as she gave a nod. "Thanks for showing her the way," as Miss Takeda bowed.

"Later Miss Saotome," exhaled Miss Takeda. "Bye ladies," as they bowed to each other. She left the classroom.

"Go ahead and sit-down Miss Saotome," ordered Mrs. Sera. "We got quite a few things to discuss with you."

"Yes Ma'am," obeyed Miyu as she sat down in a chair…

Mrs. Sera got out a binder as she sat at the desk next to her student Miyu as she began to read for a bit.

"Miss Saotome. For starters I understand that due to your attendance issues you had to repeat a year of compulsory education?" Mrs. Sera asked.

"Yes ma'am," replied Miyu as she grew red from embarrassment.

"Okay, and from what I've read that the days you were in the immigration home," continued Mrs. Sera. "That you spent that time studying," as Miyu gave a nod. "So, my plan is today you'll take a test on your Grade Nine Finals," as gave Miyu a serious look. "I'm confident that you'll do well on the test," as she gave a supportive glance. "Any questions?"

"No ma'am," replied Miyu. "What will happen after that?"

"I also understand," Mrs. Sera added. "That you kept studying for your High School Entrance Exam before the school year ended and the time you spent in custody," as Miyu nodded. "So, I am confident that when you take the High School Entrance Exam on Monday," as she smiled. "That you'll pass."

"I think so as well, ma'am," gushed Miyu. "I've been studying a lot to make up for my delinquency issues," as she showed a confident smile. "And all those days I missed…"

"Good," praised Mrs. Sera. "I'll go and get the Grade Nine Final Exam ready for you," as Mrs. Konda stepped forward. "In the meantime, Mrs. Konda would like to talk to you," as Mrs. Sera left the room. She closed the door.

"Well Miss Saotome," began Mrs. Konda. "I was hoping to meet you," as Miyu looked up. "I see you looked confused," as she paused for a second. "An associate of mine was on the ship that you and your father got off before you got detained."

"Oh, I see," exhaled Miyu as she shivered. "Am I in more trouble?"

"Oh no child," chuckled Mrs. Konda. "You are a very attractive young lady," as Miyu blushed deep red. "You seem strong, the outdoorsy type," as she walked over to Miyu. "I promise I won't hurt you girl," as Miyu nodded.

Mrs. Konda held Miyu's face gently as she looked at Miyu on the right side of her face then the left.

"As I thought," exclaimed Mrs. Konda as she looked unsurprised. "You are a very strong girl with a feminine soul, yet the balance is perfect. Are you interested in hearing more?"

"Yes," chirped Miyu as Mrs. Konda sat in a chair near Miyu…

Mrs. Konda gave Miyu a serious look yet also with full confidence. She took a deep breath and began to…

"Very well," began Mrs. Konda. "The emperor and empress have a son," as Miyu paid attention. "He's the same age as you. We've been looking for a girl who would be a match for him," as she took a breath. "That she is strong, feminine, beautiful, likes nature, not afraid to speak her mind," as she paused. "And that she'd be a feminine symbol of the Royal Family."

"If I agree," Miyu said. "Would that make me a princess?"

"Yes," replied Mrs. Konda. "What comes next is all up to you, Miyu," as she saw the teen girl's eyes grow wide. "You should know my girl if you go down this route. One day the prince would become emperor, and you'd become his empress," as Miyu began to look very nervous. "If you'd agree there'll be a lot of hard work."

"I heard the special program had a catch," gasped Miyu. "I assume the hard work is one of them?" Mrs. Konda nodded as she giggled.

"Aye," agreed Mrs. Konda. "Sure, you'd live in that nice house, but you'd need to dedicate at least thirty-five percent to fifty percent," as she paused. "Of your free time if not more everyday even on the weekends to dedicate to all the training and to all of your various royal duties, Miyu" as she gave her a serious look.

"I see," stuttered Miyu as she looked thoughtful.

"It wouldn't be easy girl," lectured Mrs. Konda. "You'd have a lot to learn, you'd have to make a lot of changes to your life as well," as she took a breath. "And things you take for granted will change."

"I also heard there would be other restrictions imposed on me," observed Miyu. "What would they be?"

"Well," explained Mrs. Konda. "Unlike most girls you'd also be prohibited from dating boys here at this Correctional Education Facility," as she saw she had Miyu's attention. "You would have to wear a ring that establishes your connection to the Royal Family."

"No wonder most girls say no," mused Miyu. She touched her heart and felt it beat for a few seconds.

"Indeed, which is why these days most girls and boys say no," exhaled Mrs. Konda. "In addition, you couldn't touch boys and, boys couldn't touch you at all," as she paused. "And if they did, you'd be required to report them," as she looked serious. "And they'd be arrested for assaulting a member of the royal family," as she took a breath. "Which is a serious crime."

"That's a lot," gasped Miyu as she looked around.

"Indeed Miss Saotome," agreed Mrs. Konda. "Lastly you'd have monthly dinners, balls, and royal duties in half a year or even earlier," as Miyu nodded. "Of course, the plus side girl," as she smiled cutely. "Is you'll never have any wants, and your family would be taken care of."

"I see," Miyu said thoughtfully. (What do I do?) Miyu thought. (It's a lot they'd be asking from me…)

Miyu remained lost in thought. She twiddled her hands and looked out the window in the room and saw a few trees. She looked at Mrs. Konda once more and took a nervous breath.

"I have to admit I am intrigued," began Miyu as she saw Mrs. Konda look downcast. "I'd like to hear more about the emperor's son and to see his photo."

"His name is Prince Kazuo Tsuji," replied Mrs. Konda. "He is strong, kind, independent, but mostly thoughtful to those around him," explained Mrs. Konda. "He also enjoys being out in nature, much to chagrin of his royal guards," as she saw Miyu smile. "He loves new ideas, but still holds steadfast to a lot of old traditions."

"Sounds like we have a lot in common," chirped Miyu.

"I think so too," added Mrs. Konda as she pulled out a photo from her purse. She showed it to Miyu. "This photo is Prince Kazuo Tsuji," as Miyu saw his picture. He had short black hair. He wore a black suit, black pants, black socks, and sneakers. "How does he look to you?"

"He's cute," giggled Miyu. (I can totally imagine being his wife.) Miyu thought as she saw the image of him and her holding hands in her brain. (This feels so right.) She felt her heartbeat faster. (My soul is telling me that he's my soulmate. I feel so drawn to him. "I like him. I can imagine being with him."

"That's good and what I was hoping you'd say," giggled Mrs. Konda. "Though we never can be too sure," as she saw Miyu grow wide eyed. "You see about a hundred and twenty-eight years ago," as she touched her heart. "Princess Hatsu thought a boy would be interested in her and yet despite all the research he still said no…"

"Oh wow," mused Miyu. "I can understand," as she put her hand to her heart. She looked lost in thought. "I like challenges and learning to be a princess would be challenging." She took a breath. "And my family being taken care of sounds nice," as she put her hands on her hips. She looked at Mrs. Konda. "Yet if I didn't feel drawn to Prince Kazuo, Mrs. Konda I'd say no…"

Miyu shook her head as she kept imagining herself and Prince Kazuo holding their hands together. She also imagined them going on a walk together…

"I can imagine being together with him," continued Miyu as she saw Mrs. Konda's eyes brighten up. "That is why I am going to say yes and train to become a princess…"

"Well, I am surprised," gushed Mrs. Konda as she saw Miyu look confused. "I was sure you'd say yes, but not this fast," as she chuckled. "I just got one last question for you girl," as she saw Miyu nod. "Once you two marry and you'll be his wife. Would you be able to handle your wifely duties, take care of his needs, have his children, and be by his side?"

"Yes," replied Miyu. "As everyone has said to me, I'm all female," as she touched her heart. "I always thought something was wrong with me," as she closed her eyes for a moment. "I realize that I'm attracted to boys and if I found the right one," as she trembled in excitement. "I'd give my heart, soul, and love to him. I have no doubt in my mind that Prince Kazuo is the one."

"Excellent," soothed Mrs. Konda. "Now I have to say there'll be a lot of hard work," as she stood up and walked over to Miyu. She gave Miyu a hug.

"Yes," affirmed Miyu. "I realize I have a lot to learn, but I have nothing to lose and a lot to gain," as she trembled. "Plus, with someone like me who was taught to be the best this seems like the perfect goal to aim for," as she wiped away a happy tear. "Plus, in my heart I do really feel attracted to Prince Kazuo."

"A girl after my own heart," giggled Mrs. Konda. "Well, my girl," as she stood up and gave her a happy smile. "From now one you'll be known as Princess Miyu Saotome or Princess Miyu for short."

"This quick? I am a princess already?" Princess Miyu asked. She saw Mrs. Konda nod in affirmation. "Oh wow."

"That's right, Princess Miyu," replied Mrs. Konda as she gave her princess another hug. She gave her a huge smile. "Now I'll need to do a lesson with you after your Compulsory Grade Nine Test, do a photo shoot so I can have a better photo of you princess," as she saw the young girl nod. She heard the door turn.

"That works for me," Princess Miyu said with a smile as she saw Mrs. Sera walking into the classroom with a file in her right hand and other supplies in her left hand.

"Lastly you should note today's April 1st, 2023," continued Mrs. Konda as she took a breath. "Even though school doesn't start for days your Royal Lessons will start today, Princess Miyu. Okay?"

"I understand," answered Princess Miyu. "I am excited to have my first lesson, Mrs. Konda," as she saw Mrs. Sera walking over to her.

"Now if you'll excuse me, princess," exhaled Mrs. Konda. "I have a lot of preparations to make since you've accepted our offer…"

Mrs. Konda walked down a hallway in the High School. She pulled out her smartphone and exited the building. She walked over to a bench and sat down. She dialed a number.

"Hello, Mr. Suko," Mrs. Konda said to the man on the other end of the line. He was a man with grey hair. He wore a black butler suit, black pants, socks, and dress shoes. "Princess Miyu said yes," as she took a deep breath. "We'll need to begin preparations for tonight."

"I had a feeling that Princess Miyu would accept," Mr. Suko replied. "I am sure that the challenge of learning to be…"

"Actually, we had that wrong about her," interrupted Mrs. Konda.

"Really and yet she still said yes," rasped Mr. Suko. "Did we mess up on our research?"

"Oh no," laughed Mrs. Konda. "Princess Miyu does relish a challenge, but it was not what led her to accept the offer that she was given," as she felt a gush of wind. "She wanted to see Prince Kazuo's photo and if she hadn't felt attracted to him then…"

"She would have said no," gasped Mr. Suko as his eyes grew wide. "Despite everything we learned about her we still missed enough of the mark…"

"So true," agreed Mrs. Konda. "Her choice was mostly because of her heart," as she touched her own heart. "Such a passionate soul Princess Miyu is."

"No doubt," agreed Mr. Suko as he walked down a hallway. "Can I count on you to make a few calls for tonight, Mrs. Konda?"

"I'll have time to make a few," explained Mrs. Konda. "I have to start the most basic lessons if tonight is to be a success," as she stood up. "Princess Miyu needs to learn how to eat properly, dress, and look her best before she meets Prince Kazuo meet in person."

"Good point," exhaled Mr. Suko. "I need to go so I can make preparations on our end," as he took a deep breath. "So little time and so much do." He paused for a moment. "Princess Miyu managed to surprise me and now I need to do my part. Goodbye for now Mrs. Konda."

"Later Mr. Suko," Mrs. Konda said as she hung up the call. She looked through her contacts and began a call to another person…

Princess Miyu finished her Grade Nine Finals as she put her pencil down. Mrs. Sera smiled as she saw her student finish the test.

"All done," Mrs. Sera asked as she stood up from her chair as she walked over. She looked over the test. "Looks good," as she smiled as she put the test on the desk. "My understanding is Mrs. Konda needs you next."

"Aye," agreed Princess Miyu. "She said as much when we were talking before, I took the Grade Nine Finals," as she took a breath. "I'm ready."

"Very well. I'll give her a call," Mrs. Sera exhaled. She dialed Mrs. Konda. "Yes. Princess Miyu just finished her test. Good. We'll be waiting," as she got off the phone. "She'll be here in a few minutes, princess."

"Yes ma'am," exclaimed Miyu as she sat down once more. A few minutes later she heard the door open, and Mrs. Konda walked over with a huge smile. "I'm ready anytime."

"Perfect," gushed Mrs. Konda. "This way Princess Miyu," as she saw her student wave bye to her teacher.

"I'll have your results in an hour, princess," Mrs. Sera said as she sat down once more and began to grade.

"Thanks," soothed Princess Miyu as she followed Mrs. Konda.

"Follow me," exhaled Mrs. Konda as she smiled. "I got a whole room for our training sessions, princess."

"Sounds great," began Princess Miyu said as she followed her new teacher out of the high school and into the activities building. She walked down a long hall, down a set of steps, down another hall, and to the right. Mrs. Konda got a silver key and opened the door. She ushered Princess Miyu in and locked the door.

"This will be your room for your training, photo shoots, and everything in between as I teach you how to be a princess," explained Mrs. Konda. "We'll be spending a lot of time together my dear," as she walked over to a table.

"I can't wait," gushed Princess Miyu. "I am excited and nervous all at the same time," as she followed Mrs. Konda to the table.

"I gather you haven't eaten lunch yet princess," asked Mrs. Konda as Princess Miyu shook her head. "Perfect. A good number of your lessons will be on how to eat properly as a member of the royal family," as she motioned for her princess to sit. "Now you'll see I got you a mirror so you can study and learn all the skills."

"I do," exhaled Princess Miyu as she grew more nervous.

"No need to be nervous princess," hushed Mrs. Konda. "I've helped many girls learn these skills," as Princess Miyu nodded. "Just follow my lead and you'll see. Now for today. Your job is to just watch me through the mirror as I gently direct your hands. Okay?"

"Yes ma'am," gushed Princess Miyu as her new instructor began to do so.

"It's not so bad is it," soothed Mrs. Konda as she kept working.

"No," gushed Miyu. "It's fun," as she kept observing her teacher as she began to learn how to eat as a wealthy young girl.

"You are doing well so far," praised Mrs. Konda as she showed her how to eat properly one step at a time. "I know you might have been taught how to eat fast," as she saw her new student nod. "The goal here is to not to."

"Okay," observed Princess Miyu as she paid attention to her lesson…

Princess Miyu slowly picked up on how to eat as a princess. She found towards the end she was doing the actions all on her own without Mrs. Konda's help as she grew more confident with each passing minute.

"Wow," praised Mrs. Konda. "You pick things up fast princess."

"Thanks," said Princess Miyu with a blush. "It's why I was very good at martial arts," as she looked downcast. "Will I have to give up martial arts?"

"Oh no," soothed Mrs. Konda. "You'll still be able to practice martial arts, fight, and get stronger, but you'll have less time for martial arts," as she saw Princess Miyu look thoughtful.

"Well," lightly cried Princess Miyu. "On one hand I love martial arts," as Mrs. Konda nodded. "Yet on another hand it was because of martial arts that I was so delinquent with school, and." She paused for a moment. "It cost me a lot more than I ever bargained for."

"Your gender for one?" Mrs. Konda asked as she saw Miyu shake her head. "Really?"

"I've had time to think about it," sniffled Princess Miyu. Mrs. Konda handed her a tissue. She dried her tears. "I wish I got to make the choice," as she trembled. "But no, I've gotten quite comfortable being female as the days went by." She paused for a second. "And it's presented me a wonderful opportunity of learning to be a princess and that I can marry my soul mate."

"I see," Mrs. Konda exhaled as she looked thoughtful. "Then what do you feel that you lost, princess?"

"It's that I'm here for Correctional Education for Girls," replied Princess Miyu. "When my parents could have done their jobs," as her annoyance showed. "And made sure I didn't become a delinquent girl. It's so…"

"Embarrassing?" Mrs. Konda finished as she hugged Princess Miyu. "You really are a girl after my own heart," as Princess Miyu looked confused. "My new young princess. You'll find that in life mistakes are made by people," as she paused for a moment. "The strong ones are those who move on even when the road seems so difficult," as she waved her right hand.

"So, I should always move forward even when things feel so awful," sniffled Princess Miyu as she saw Mrs. Konda nod.

"Aye," affirmed Mrs. Konda. "Princess, you've had to overcome adversity recently and overall, across your own life," as she paused. "Which is why I think you got the skills it takes to make a great princess," as she smiled at her. "Especially since you have the drive to learn what I teach. You'll do fine."

"Thank you," gushed Princess Miyu as she shivered. "I'm sorry for all the emotional baggage, Mrs. Konda."

"It's no problem princess," exhaled Mrs. Konda. "Like I said my associate, and I did our research. We are confident you are perfect to be our princess," as she looked at the time on her smartphone. "Now I hate to change the topic, but it's time for our photo shoot," as she put her hand on the young teen girl's shoulder. "You'll have so much fun."

"Ooh," giggled Princess Miyu as she followed Mrs. Konda to a big closet…

Princess Miyu wore a long red dress that covered her breasts yet showed her curves in a sexy elegant dress. The dress fell to her feet. She wore black socks and high heels. Mrs. Konda took several shots of Miyu in different poses.

"Perfect," praised Mrs. Konda as she took her lost photo. "You did great my young princess," as she beamed with a smile.

"Thanks," Princess Miyu as she blushed. "I do have a question," as Mrs. Konda looked up at her. "What if the prince isn't into me? Isn't it too early to call me princess?" She lightly bit her lip.

"No need to fret," soothed Mrs. Konda with a huge grin. "I've known him for his whole life," as she took a breath. "You are perfect for him," as she sat down on a chair and motioned for Miyu to sit as well. "All we got to do is get your training done," as she gave a smile.

"Okay," gushed Princess Miyu as she smiled despite her fear.

"While our research on you was not perfect for when you'd accept,' added Mrs. Konda with a curt nod. "Or why you would accept," as she took a breath. "I assure you personality wise you two are perfect for one another, Princess Miyu."

"The photo shoot was really fun," exclaimed Princess Miyu. "I had a lot of fun trying on many different clothes."

"I had fun too," giggled Mrs. Konda. "It's time girl to dress back to your own clothes," as she saw Princess Miyu nod. "I need to get you back to Mrs. Sera," as she hugged her princess once again. "So, we have time to drive to the royal palace and so I can talk to the prince and his family about you before you two can meet for the first time."

"I'm so excited," gushed Princess Miyu as she went to the changing room with her clothes in her right hand.

(I'm so sure.) Mrs. Konda thought. (Princess Miyu is the girl he will accept.) She smiled inwardly. (We always seemed to miss something critical with the last three recent attempts.) She sat down. (Princess Miyu is a perfect balance of what he wants in a girl.) She took a breath. (Yet she also has the capacity to be a perfect modern feminine symbol for the royal family.)

"I'm ready," gushed Princess Miyu as she broke Mrs. Konda out of her thoughts. "I'm getting used to changing a little faster now."

"Great," Mrs. Konda said.

"Just one question," began Princess Miyu. "I thought I wasn't allowed to leave the Correctional Education Facility at all," as she looked confused.

"No worries princess," exhaled Mrs. Konda with a smile. "With your good behavior at the immigration home," as she paused. "In addition, your behavior here, and because you need to meet Prince Kazuo Tsuji in person you've been granted a special leave," as Princess Miyu gushed. "I picked out your favorite dress you modeled. For when it's time to leave."

"I'm excited," gushed Princess Miyu as she followed Mrs. Konda out of the room.

"Let's go princess," Mrs. Konda said. (Soon Princess Miyu will meet Prince Kazuo in person.) Mrs. Konda thought as she beamed as she turned a corner. (I can't wait.)

Mrs. Sera smiled as she saw Mrs. Konda and Princess Miyu walking into the room. Princess Miyu sat down on the same chair she took her test on.

"Now princess," began Mrs. Konda. "It's 2:30 P.M." She saw Princess Miyu nod. "I'd like to be on the road in half an hour," as she took a breath. "Mrs. Sera will have a quick chat before she releases you from your education for today," as she saw Princess Miyu nod. "I'll see you at your house in about twenty minutes," as she smiled.

"Sounds like a plan to me," exhaled Princess Miyu.

"Good," Mrs. Konda began. "See you then princess. The dress I picked will be on your dresser in your room," as she gave a serious smile. "Please be ready and changed by then."

"Yes ma'am," obeyed Princess Miyu as Mrs. Konda gave her a nod. She left the room.

"I know you are on a time crunch, princess," began Mrs. Sera. "So, I'll keep it brief," as she stood up and delivered her student's test from earlier. "Almost a perfect score," as she had a huge smile on her face. "All your studying paid off, princess. Good job. You've graduated compulsory education."

"Thanks," Princess Miyu exhaled with a smile. "I did my best to study during all of those days I was in the Immigration Home."

"Now you know your High School Exam is on Monday," Mrs. Sera began. "I believe you are mostly ready," as Miyu nodded. "It's scheduled for 11:00 A.M. In this room. So, I'll see you then. See you later Princess Miyu."

"Thank you," Princess Miyu said as she shook hands with Mrs. Sera. "I'll see you then," as she left the room.

(I don't have a lot of time to get home and get changed.) Princess Miyu thought as she left the high school…

Princess Miyu walked over to the bridge leading to the girl's residential hub. She remained lost in her thoughts when she heard…

"Girl," chirped Saeko as she saw her new roommate. "I didn't think you'd still be so busy," as she walked over to Princess Miyu as the two made their way by the security checkpoint as the female guards nodded at them as they walked on by.

"Good afternoon," one of the female guards said as Saeko and Princess Miyu waved at them as they walked on by.

"I had the meeting, the physical exam, a test, and then," explained Princess Miyu. "I decided to accept the Royal Families offer," as Saeko nodded. Princess Miyu gave her a huge smile. "I had two hours of lessons and photo shoot," as they walked up the hill to their upscale home. "I am now engaged to Prince Kazuo Tsuji and became Princess Miyu."

"Oh wow," gushed Saeko as she saw Princess Miyu blush. "And I thought I had it busy with being engaged to a wealthy man's son," as she gave her roommate a smile. "I thought for sure you'd accept just not as fast," as she hugged her roommate. "You sure decided fast."

"Aye," agreed Princess Miyu as she saw her home. "It felt right you know?" She saw Lady Saeko nod. They unlocked their house's front door, and they walked into their home. Lady Saeko closed the door. "I'm sorry girl," as Lady Saeko looked confused. "I'll be leaving to meet my betrothed," as Princess Miyu blushed. "I have just a short time to dress."

"Oh, I see," Lady Saeko. "I was hoping we'd hangout tonight…"

"I'm sorry," sniffled Princess Miyu as she cried happy tears. "For some reason this feels right. I feel like I found my soulmate," as she hugged her roommate. "Before I get dressed would you like to be friends?"

"Yes," giggled Lady Saeko as she smiled. "We'll be great friends."

"I agree," gushed Princess Miyu as she took a breath. "I'll be back tomorrow evening I'm sure," as she saw Lady Saeko nod. "I got to go. I feel like I'm going to need to learn how to dress even faster," as she grabbed clean underwear, the dress, socks, and left for the bathroom.

Princess Miyu walked into the bathroom. She closed the door and looked at herself in the mirror. She took a deep breath.

(Well, girl.) Princess Miyu thought as took off her clothes. (You sure changed your life in a hurry.) She changed into the dress. (Yet it feels right. Now the hard part comes…)

Princess Miyu left the bathroom. She wore a strapless pink dress that fell to her feet. She wore pink socks. The dress showed off her breasts, her curves, while keeping her looking like a sexy young girl.

"Oh wow," chirped Lady Saeko as she saw Princess Miyu. "You hardly look like the same girl I met this morning," as she smiled as her roommate looked at herself in the mirror.

"I look so sexy," gushed Princess Miyu as she looked at herself in the mirror. "I'm so nervous though," as she felt proverbial butterflies in her stomach. "I'm so scared to meet him and excited at the same time."

"You sound like me when I first met Ryu Wadda," giggled Lady Saeko as she hugged her friend. "Yet when I met him, it felt just right as he held me as we kissed," as she smiled. "If only he wasn't so busy tonight," as her face fell slightly. "Still, I get to see him tomorrow," as she pulled out his photo. "Here's his photo."

Princess Miyu saw a boy with short brown hair. He wore a black business suit, black pants, black socks, and dress shoes.

"He looks perfect for you girl," giggled Princess Miyu.

"He is," chirped Lady Saeko with a smile as she put the photo away. "Just be yourself girl," as Miyu nodded. "Everything will work out," as she smiled. "We'll hang out after we both get home from our dates…"

"You bet," added Princess Miyu as she took a breath. She put on her high heels as she gave her friend a smile...

Princess Miyu opened the door, walked out, and left the house. She saw Mrs. Konda waiting for her. She stood up and walked over to her princess…

"Just in time princess," gushed Mrs. Konda as she smiled. "You look radiant," as she held out her hand. "Come child," as Princess Miyu took her hand. She followed her down the path and they turned at a bend. The younger girl saw a garage at the far end of the residential area for girls.

"This area is so much bigger than I ever thought," mused Princess Miyu. "I had no idea it would be this expansive."

"Usually, this place is just for adults so they can travel to work," lectured Mrs. Konda as Princess Miyu nodded. "This is also where girls like you go with an adult in circumstances like yours," as she saw two female guards at the door. One had black hair and black eyes, the other had blond hair and blue eyes. Both wore the same guard outfits as the other guards.

"Pass please," one of the female guards asked as Mrs. Konda nodded. She handed it over as the guard who read the pass. "Perfect."

"We've heard from the headmistress," the other female guard began. "From now on you are free to go with young Princess Miyu, Mrs. Konda during official approved trips," as she smiled as both guards smiled at Princess Miyu.

"I'd like to remind you Princess Miyu," added the first guard. "This a right you've earned," as she gave the red-haired girl a nod. "As long as you are a good girl, you'll be allowed these trips."

"Thank you," gushed Princess Miyu. "I promise not to abuse the right I earned."

"Perfect," praised the second guard. "We wish you luck princess," as they bowed before her. They unlocked and opened the door. Princess Miyu and Mrs. Konda walked through as they heard the door close and lock behind them.

"Sorry," Mrs. Konda said. "Their job is to make sure all the teens stay in line."

"It's alright," Princess Miyu said. "They were really polite," as she smiled. "Plus, I saw it in their eyes that they hope things go well and that I stay a good girl," as she smiled. "They act tough because it is their job," as she saw a black limousine. "I saw it in one of the guard's eyes this morning they hate when they have to enforce discipline."

"You can tell all that by looking at their eyes?" Mrs. Konda asked with a curious smile.

"Aye," agreed Miyu. "I've learned to read people's emotions through their eyes," as she shook her head. "It helps knowing how to do so as a martial artist even if I struggle with my own emotions at times."

"That's impressive," Mrs. exclaimed Konda as she saw the driver get out. "That's an ability that will serve you well as princess too."

"Mrs. Konda," the driver said as she walked over. She had brown eyes and brown hair tied to a ponytail. She wore a black blouse, skirt, socks, and dress shoes. She bowed before Mrs. Konda. "Are we ready?"

"Yes," replied Mrs. Konda as she smiled at Princess Miyu. "Princess, I'd like you to meet Miss Hina Maki," as Miss Maki bowed before Princess Miyu. "She was hired today to be your driver and escort."

"Oh wow," gushed Princess Miyu," as she shook hands with Miss Maki. "It's nice to meet you."

"I'm delighted to meet you Princess Miyu," exclaimed Miss Maki. "I'll be here to take care of your driving needs as you need it," as she gave an excited smile. "Among other services as well, princess."

"Thank you," gushed Princess Miyu as Mrs. Konda and Miss Maki helped her in the limo. Mrs. Konda walked over and sat on the other end as Miss Maki got in the driver's seat…

Mrs. Konda sighed as she saw her princess buckle herself in. She pulled out a blindfold from her bag.

"I'm sorry princess," began Mrs. Konda with a frown. "It's the rules girl," as Princess Miyu saw the blindfold. "All teens here have to be blindfolded so they can't figure out where they are."

"I understand," sighed Princess Miyu as her annoyance showed. Mrs. Konda put the blindfold over her eyes. "How long will I have to be blindfolded?"

"Usually, they keep the teens blindfolded for an hour," explained Mrs. Konda. "You get a special exception and only have to for ten minutes, princess," as she buckled herself in. She pressed a button on her side. "Miss Maki. All set back here. You can go."

"Roger," exhaled Miss Maki as she began to drive the limo.

"I'll let you know when you take off the blindfold princess," added Mrs. Konda as she saw her princess nod.

"Okay," Princess Miyu exhaled as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

(I wish I didn't have to blindfold Princess Miyu.) Mrs. Konda thought. (It's one part of Correctional Education I disagree with the most.) She shook her head as the car came out of a tunnel. (Why do they feel the need to blindfold the teens?)

(It's not like any parents could ever rescue their children or that the teens could ever escape.) Mrs. Konda thought. (It's designed like a fortress…)

The limo made a turn to the right as Miss Maki turned onto a highway. She began to speed up. A few minutes later.

"…It's been ten minutes princess," exhaled Mrs. Konda. "You can take off the blindfold now," as Princess Miyu woke up. She took off the blindfold and blinked her eyes several times.

"Sorry," huffed Princess Miyu. "I took a short nap," as she saw Mrs. Konda laugh.

"No worries princess," chirped Mrs. Konda. "I would do the same if I couldn't see," as she gave her princess a smile. She saw Princess Miyu's confused face. "I can see it on your face princess. You are confused why more people are referring to you as a princess?"

"Well yes," admitted Princess Miyu. "I'm just partly worried that things won't go…"

"Perfectly natural," explained Mrs. Konda. "Prince Kazuo Tsuji is just as nervous about meeting you Princess Miyu," as she saw the young girl blush deep red. "He's heard everything about you just as you've heard everything about him."

"Even that I was…" Princess Miyu gasped as she took a breath.

"That part of you is in the past," explained Mrs. Konda. "Who you are now is what matters." She pointed to Princess Miyu's heart as she smiled. "You are a girl and perhaps with how feminine you've become maybe you've always had a feminine soul."

"A feminine soul," gasped Princess Miyu. "Perhaps I have always had a feminine soul," as she touched her heart. "Maybe that is why this feels so right," as she giggled. "Like I am meeting my soulmate."

"Well, my young princess," beamed Mrs. Konda. "You aren't the only one who thinks so too," as she smiled. "Now we got some time before we reach our first destination."

"Where is that?" Princess Miyu asked.

"We are on our way to a Spa," replied Mrs. Konda. "A full spa treatment is just what a girl like you needs," as she smiled as she saw her princess's eyes grow wide.

"After the last few weeks," sniffled Princess Miyu as she wiped away a few tears. "I think a spa and being pampered sounds perfect."

"While you are being pampered princess," exhaled Mrs. Konda. "I'll be meeting the Royal Family, and informing them of your progress," as she paused. "I also need to make sure the maids got your bedroom ready for tonight," as saw Princess Miyu nod. "And everything else that needs to be done."

"Ooh," giggled Princess Miyu. "Sounds exciting. I can't wait."

(Princess Miyu caught us all of guard.) Mrs. Konda thought. (I didn't think she'd accept so fast.) She gave her princess a smile. (It's a good thing, but we have had to scramble to prepare everything for tonight. It's worth it though.) She placed her hands on her lap. (The maids have been hoping we'd get a new princess to pamper for a long time now.)

(Now they'll finally have their wish.) Mrs. Konda thought. She saw her princess fidget in her seat, her nervousness apparent. (Of course, it will take Princess Miyu time to adjust. I still think she's not prepared for all the changes her new life will bring.) She gave her princess a reassuring smile. (Still, she chose this route so now we can do our part to help her adjust.)

"We'll be meeting your Royal Guards at the Spa," explained Mrs. Konda. She saw Princess Miyu look confused.

"Did I do something wrong?" Princess Miyu asked. "Am I in trouble, Mrs. Konda," as she looked fearful.

"Oh, heavens no, princess," explained Mrs. Konda. She gave Princess Miyu a comforting smile. "It'll take some time to adjust, but the Royal Guards are there to protect you."

"I see," mused Princess Miyu as she looked thoughtful. "I guess I still have more adjustments to make."

"Indeed," laughed Mrs. Konda. "It'll take time to adjust, princess."

"Thanks," gushed Princess Miyu. "I just…This is all so overwhelming, and I haven't even met Prince Kazuo Tsuji yet."

"It'll get easier with time princess," explained Mrs. Konda. "Just take this one step at a time," as she smiled. "Just relax, go with the flow, and mostly just be yourself."

"I'll do just that," exhaled Princess Miyu. "I did after all go with my heart and the rest of it will feel normal in due time."

"That it will, princess," agreed Mrs. Konda. "That it will…"

The limo continued to drive along the highway. Many minutes later Miss Maki saw signs that Tokyo was a few miles away.

"Mrs. Konda," Miss Maki began. "We are getting close to Tokyo. We are just a few miles away from entering the city."

"Gotcha," Mrs. Konda replied. "Thanks for the heads up, Miss Maki," as she faced Princess Miyu once more. "Any last questions for me, princess?"

"I have a few," sniffled Princess Miyu. "Why was the government so hostile when dealing with my parents and I," as she looked confused. "I get the being upset over my school delinquency, but they also made a big deal out of Jusenkyo as well. Why?"

"Princess Miyu," began Mrs. Konda. "No doubt your experience has left you wondering if our government is corrupt," as she saw her princess nod. "That is not too far off the mark," as she took a deep breath. "It would be more apt to say in a lot of ways our government resists changing with the modern times."

"What do you mean?" Princess Miyu asked with wonder.

"There is a slight link in the time," replied Mrs. Konda. "That Compulsory Education, Correctional Education, Jusenkyo." She paused. "And even many of the current laws that the Royal Family can use," as she took a breath. "It was in 1800's that many of those laws were written by the government." She shook her head. "Many are still the same more or less."

"It's 2023," gasped Princess Miyu with shock, amazement, and wonder. "How can all those laws not be adjusted too…"

"In many cases, princess," explained Mrs. Konda. "Our country is stuck in time," as she saw Princess Miyu nod. "The values we hold, our fears, the way we conduct our affairs between ourselves," as she paused. "And how we interact with the world has not changed much in a few hundred years."

"So, I see," exhaled Princess Miyu as she shook her head. "Still a part of me wonders how the government did to me is…"

"Sadly, Princess Miyu," interrupted Mrs. Konda as she gave the young girl a nod. "It is legal," as she saw Princess Miyu's eyes grow wide. "Yet it is not very ethical. You've seen the effects of those laws in your life to know that princess," as she took a deep breath. "Let me ask you a question."

"Sure. Go ahead," huffed Princess Miyu.

"If the threat of level two and level three was not hanging over you, princess," began Mrs. Konda. "Would you have still behaved?"

"I don't know," admitted Princess Miyu as she touched her heart and trembled. "As they are now. I have to be a good girl. I'd be too embarrassed to end up wearing anything grey," as she saw Mrs. Konda begin to laugh. "What did I say that is so funny?"

"Nothing, princess," laughed Mrs. Konda. She took a deep breath. "You just said the same thing I would say or what most girls would say," as she saw Princess Miyu's eyes grow wide. "At least the many girls who remain in control of most of their emotions."

"Hmm," muttered Princess Miyu as she shook her head. "Why does it have to be this way," as she looked outside a window for a moment. She faced Mrs. Konda again. "Surely…"

"That's the question, princess," exhaled Mrs. Konda as she looked serious. "There are those who wish to make things better," as she saw her princess nod. "Let's leave it at that for now," as she gave a comforting smile. "For now, just focus on yourself, meeting your new family, and Prince Kazuo," as she took a breath. "You can worry about the rest another day."

"Sounds good to me," exclaimed Princess Miyu. "One day at a time. Right?" She saw Mrs. Konda give her a nod.

"Aye," agreed Mrs. Konda. "Now one last thing," as she saw her princess nod. "Here's the protocol once we get to the Spa…"

Princess Miyu felt the limousine park. She sat still as she heard Mrs. Konda unbuckle herself and step out of the car.

(I just wait for the limo door to open.) Miyu thought. She unbuckled herself. (Mrs. Konda was clear to me to take Miss Maki's hand to get out of the limo.) She took a nervous breath. (So that's what I'll do even if it is embarrassing.) Miyu heard the limo door open for her as she took Miss Maki's hand as she got out of the vehicle.

"Watch your step princess," exhaled Miss Maki. "It's a doozy," as Princess Miyu blushed as she looked below as she was careful not to trip.

"Thank you, Miss Maki," gushed Princess Miyu as she looked around as she saw a few stores nearby. From bookstores to restaurants. She saw the Spa before her. Mrs. Konda walked around to the sidewalk.

Mrs. Konda walked off and returned with two females a moment later. The first had brown hair and brown eyes. She wore a black suit, pants, socks, and sneakers. The second a black-haired woman with black eyes. She wore the same uniform as her boss.

"I'd like you to meet Emi Nagano," began Mrs. Konda. She pointed to the Royal Guard with brown hair. "She's in charge of your security," as Mrs. Nagano walked closer and shook her princess's hand.

"Hello Princess Miyu," soothed Mrs. Nagano. "As Mrs. Konda said I'm in charge of your security. Just leave it to me."

"Thanks," gushed Princess Miyu. "It's a pleasure to meet you," as she finished shaking Mrs. Nagano's right hand.

"She's one of my staff," Mrs. Nagano said with a smile as she pointed to the black-haired woman. "Her name's Ima Sano," as Miyu shook her hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Princess Miyu," Miss Sano said. "I'll do my best to keep you safe. I promise."

"I appreciate that," exclaimed Princess Miyu as she finished shaking Miss Sano's right hand. "Well Mrs. Konda I am ready."

"Miss Maki if you could help her walk to her chair," ordered Mrs. Konda. "I'll alert the manager we are here," as she walked into the spa.

"I…" Miyu stuttered as she blushed deep red.

"I understand this is new for you," began Miss Maki. "Let me do my job, and escort you princess," as she saw Miyu nod as she took her hand as she followed her to her seat. Mrs. Nagano and Miss Sano took two seats nearby. ""Here you go," as she helped Miyu take a seat.

"Thank you, Miss Maki," exhaled Princess Miyu as she got comfortable. "Sorry I still have a lot to get used to."

"I understand," Miss Maki soothed. "Lots of people care about you girl," as she gave her a smile. "I always wanted to take a job to drive, escort, and provide protection for royalty."

"Thank you," blushed Miyu. "It feels nice being taken care of," as Miss Maki smiled as she saw Mrs. Konda nearby by.

"We phoned ahead hours ago," Mrs. Konda said. "A full spa treatment for Princess Miyu," as she talked to the manager with brown hair and brown eyes. She pointed at her princess. "This is her first spa so make sure to make it special." She wore a green dress that fell to her knees. She wore black socks and high heels. Her name tag read the name Jona Hirata.

"Of course," soothed Mrs. Hirata. "We've got everything ready to take good care of her," as she walked over to Princess Miyu. "All of the steps were taken care of as you all asked. So, no need to worry," as she bent down and smiled at Princess Miyu.

"Mrs. Hirata," began Mrs. Konda. "Princess Miyu."

"Hello Mrs. Hirata," exhaled Princess Miyu as she gave a smile to Mrs. Hirata. "I'll leave my care in your hands."

"Such a polite young lady," gushed Mrs. Hirata with a smile. "I've been sworn to secrecy and so has my staff," as Princess Miyu smiled. "Until such a time as when you make your public debut my princess."

"Thank you, Mrs. Hirata," beamed Princess Miyu. "I'm so excited," as she shook her hand with her right hand.

"The people are going to love you when they learn about you," praised Mrs. Hirata. Princess Miyu blushed red. "Shall we get started?"

"Indeed," agreed Mrs. Konda. "Princess," as Miyu looked at her. "Miss Maki and I got to go, but before you are done, we'll be back," as she bent down in her ear. "I'll leave your protection in the hands of your Royal Guards."

"Okay," Princess Miyu said as she saw Miss Maki wave bye. "Bye for now," as she waved bye as well. She lightly gulped in slight fear.

"We'll be back," added Miss Maki with a smile.

"Okay," began Mrs. Hirata as she gave Miyu a smile. "I understand this is your first spa visit princess," as Princess Miyu nodded. "Don't worry I'll take good care of you. Just relax and let me pamper you."

"I'll do just that," gushed Princess Miyu relaxed herself as Mrs. Hirata began to work on her. "Thank you so much."

"I am glad to be of service, princess," replied Mrs. Hirata. "It's been a long time since we have had a princess in the country," as she continued to work. "A lot of people will be extremely excited when you make your debut…"

Meanwhile, Akane sat at the park as she stared at the small creek that passed on by. She stared at the slowly sinking sun.

"Hey little sis," called out Nabiki as she walked over. "I thought you'd be out here," as she stood next to her sister. "Reflecting and all that?"

"I am," affirmed Akane as she lightly threw a stone at the water. It splashed water all around. "It's hard to think that the boy I knew for so many years is gone," as she faced her sister.

"I feel the same," agreed Nabiki as she shook her head.

"I keep expecting to look up and see him," muttered Akane. "I'd see his goofy black hair in a pigtail smile at me," as she grabbed another stone. "Or for him to get in my face and ask me what's up tomboy," as she threw another stone in the water again…

"You'd get angry," added Nabiki with a laugh. "You would chase him around. That would eventually end with you and him sparring."

"Aye," giggled Akane. "He was always stronger than I was, yet he never rubbed it in my face that he was stronger," as she began to cry. "He'd make fun of me for being a tomboy, but I realize now it was the way we interacted. I…"

"You miss him?" Nabiki asked as she saw her sister nod. "So do I."

"Aye," agreed Akane. "Our dads tried to get us to go to the next level," as she had tears down her face. "Yet we would never have dated," as her sister Nabiki nodded in agreement. "We grew closer like brother and sister and now well I guess when Miyu comes home," as she lightly smiled. "We'll be like sisters."

"Indeed," sighed Nabiki. "I hate this as much as you do little sister," as she took a very breath. "When mom died years ago," as she saw Akane nod. "Dad, he went through the utmost despair until Ranma's incredible never give up personality changed him," as she had a huge recollection going on in her mind. "Ranma helped him through his depression."

"So true," gushed Akane as she shook her head. "Daddy got a job."

"Thanks to all of that," chirped Nabiki with a smile. "I went back to being a girl, and not having to try support the family with various plans," as she laughed. "Who knows what kind of girl I'd be without that."

"Yea," chuckled Akane. "To Ranma," as she invisibly toasted to his honor with her older sister. "And to Miyu when we see her again."

"What's that about Ranma?" A boy asked as he got closer. He had a yellow shirt, black pants, a yellow bandana, and a yellow umbrella. "Oh Akane, Nabiki," as he got closer. "I told you two I'd be back. I wanted to train to spar with my best friend again…" He stopped speaking when he saw them begin to cry. "What did I say?"

"Ryoga," cried Akane. "It's just awful," as she ran over to her friend. "It's just awful…"

"What's this about?" Ryoga asked as he looked confused. "And where is…"

"I better fill you in," added Nabiki. "It's like this," as she led her sister and friend to a bench nearby…

Mrs. Konda walked into the main meeting room of the royal castle. She gave a satisfied nod as she saw her emperor, empress, and young prince. She bowed before each of them. She smiled at Prince Kazuo Tsuji. He wore a black and white princely garb and black pants. He wore black socks and dress shoes.

Empress Mikka Tsuji had black and grey hair that fell on her waist. She wore a black dress that fell onto her legs. She had black socks and high heels on.

Emperor Eito Tsuji had short black and grey hair. He wore an emperor's robe that was black and white with a regalia. He had black pants and wore black socks and black dress shoes.

"Evening Prince Kazuo, Empress Tsuji, Emperor Tsuji," Mrs. Konda began. "How is your day going?"

"It's a great day," replied Emperor Tsuji.

"I'm doing well," added Prince Kazuo. "I can't wait till tonight," as he had a huge grin on his face.

"Very well," gushed Empress Tsuji with a smile. "How is your day going Mrs. Konda?" She saw her take a deep breath.

"Very busy," huffed Mrs. Konda with a huge smile. "I am glad that Princess Miyu said yes so soon, but it was still unexpected."

"I've tried to keep busy, but I have been anxious all day," exhaled Prince Kazuo as he smiled. "I can't wait to meet Princess Miyu. When will I?"

"Not for a while my prince," replied Mrs. Konda. "She's at the Spa getting a full spa treatment. It'll be hours. I'm afraid."

"Ah," Prince Kazuo said. "I was hoping she'd come early…"

"Relax son," laughed Emperor Tsuji. "As you can see, he's such a bundle of energy today," as Mrs. Konda gave a nod.

"How did Princess Miyu do today," questioned Empress Tsuji. "I know she's had a tough time as of late."

"Aye," agreed Mrs. Konda as she saw maids bring in some snacks into the room. She sat down on a chair as did Emperor Fuji, Empress Fuji, and Prince Kazuo…

Meanwhile, Ryoga blanched as he heard the end of the tale that Nabiki mostly told to him. Akane meanwhile held his right hand as tears filled her eyes.

"This is," gasped Ryoga as he took several deep breaths. "I'll never get to see my rival again as I knew him," as he saw the two sisters' nod.

"Aye," affirmed Nabiki. "No one knows where Miyu was even sent," as she took a breath. "Not like it would really matter," as Ryoga and Akane gasped. "No one could penetrate the security anyways even if we did know."

"That's true," agreed Akane. "Plus, they'd just arrest us, and then we'd be in big trouble," as she showed her fear. "We don't want to make things worse."

"There is something else to consider," mused Ryoga. "Even with my directional curse I never saw any of these Correctional Education Facilities myself," as he took a breath. "Same with the government buildings or the Imperial Palace for that matter," as he paused. "I guess they have anti-curse or anti-magic at those locations. So, I couldn't even accidentally run into Miyu."

"That's a likely possibility," affirmed Nabiki. "It would make the most sense."

"Still," cried Akane. "I wonder how Miyu is doing right now," as she hugged Ryoga. He hugged her back as he had a worried look on his face.

"Well, here's hoping she's a good girl," added Nabiki. "If she is she'll be allowed visitors and with luck she'll also be allowed to see friends as well," as the other two nodded.

"Now the trick is," exhaled Ryoga with wonder. "How do I keep myself from getting lost," as he shook his head. "It would be nice to see Miyu…"

"That's a good question," murmured Akane.

"I have an idea," exclaimed Nabiki as she saw Akane and Ryoga look at her. "Come with me Ryoga," as they began to walk off…

Mrs. Konda finished her light snack. She saw the others finish their snacks as well. She smiled at her empress.

"You are right Empress Tsuji," Mrs. Konda said. "She's had a tough time as of late," as she took a breath. "Still that girl is impressive."

"What do you mean?" Empress Tsuji asked with some curiosity.

"I thought for sure when I made the offer," explained Mrs. Konda, "that she'd need more time to make up her mind," as she saw Emperor Tsuji nod. "I had not considered though on her deciding through her heart," as she giggled. "In addition, she really relishes a challenge, and she learned my eating lessons quickly. Plus, she's already picking up on basic royal protocol."

"Wow. So, she felt drawn to me as I did with her" gushed Prince Kazuo. "She learns really fast," as he saw Mrs. Konda nod. "The more I hear about her the more excited I get."

"Let's temper your excitement son," Emperor Tsuji began. "I am sure she has more to say about Princess Miyu."

"Aye," agreed Mrs. Konda. "Princess Miyu's a physically strong girl," as she touched her heart. "Mentally though she's very fragile," as she took a breath. "I don't know if it is because of her upbringing, or the last nearly two weeks," as she shook her head sadly.

Mrs. Konda took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment. She wiped away a tear from her cheeks.

"Or if because of the fact the government just pumped her full of estrogen," continued Mrs. Konda. "And threw her to the wolves so to speak," as she took a breath. "Maybe it's even a combination of all of that."

"Do you think," began Emperor Tsuji with worry in his voice. "That they should have given her more time to adjust after her surgery?"

"I think so," replied Mrs. Konda. "She told me that she's upset that her parents failed to be firm with her education and that she's paying for their actions," as she saw Prince Kazuo open his mouth when his father waved his hand in his son's direction. "It's an issue that she'll struggle with throughout this year until she's released from Correctional Education."

"Are you afraid that the Royal Family is asking too much for her too soon," observed Empress Tsuji with concern.

"I don't, Empress Tsuji," explained Mrs. Konda. "She agreed to become a princess all on her own volition," as Empress Tsuji smiled. "For love of course and all the other factors," as she paused. "It's one of the reasons why she'll be a perfect princess for us." She took a breath. "For you Prince Kazuo because she's such a driven girl," as Prince Kazuo smiled happily.

"That's good," sighed Empress Fuji as she lightly frowned. "I don't want to make Princess Miyu feel forced to be here."

"I agree," added Emperor Fuji.

"You don't need to worry," affirmed Mrs. Konda. "Princess Miyu chose to do this all on her own," as she gave a smile. "I only wish the government had let her make the choice on her gender," as she saw Emperor Fuji, Empress Fuji, and Prince Kazuo shake their heads sadly and in rage. "She'll make the most of her life," as she faced her prince. "Prince Kazuo?"

"How can I help Princess Miyu?" Prince Kazuo asked. He saw Mrs. Konda smile at him.

"Right now, Princess Miyu is a delicate flower when it comes to her emotions," Mrs. Konda began. "You'll need to be patient with her," as she saw her prince nod. "It could be because she's such a feminine girl with a feminine soul."

"Remember son," cautioned Empress Fuji. "She's going to be very emotional for some time I suspect," as she saw her son pay attention. "Her body needs time to settle from all that estrogen the fools in the government pumped her body full off." She took a deep breath. "You'll need to at times just hold her or listen to her."

"I'll do my best, mom, dad, Mrs. Konda," supplied Prince Kazuo. "I'll give her all of my love," as his mother touched her son's shoulder.

"Good son," praised Emperor Fuji as he gave an encouraging smile. "No doubt this may be tough for the two of you for some time."

"That's great," exclaimed Mrs. Konda. "I do think for now until next month I don't inundate her with too much until she settles in," as Empress Tsuji nodded. "She'll be overwhelmed with adjusting to life as a princess and as a female," as she saw Prince Kazuo look very confused.

"I agree," agreed Empress Tsuji. "She'll be more ready for the more complicated lessons by then."

"Huh," muttered Prince Kazuo as Mrs. Konda, Emperor Tsuji, and Empress Tsuji shook their heads as the young prince looked even more confused.

"Well, if you ladies," began Emperor Tsuji. "Think she'll need extra time to adjust I'm all in agreement."

"Very well," exclaimed Mrs. Konda as she stood up. "I got duties to take care of," as she smiled. She bowed to her prince, empress, and emperor. "See you soon," as she left the room.

Genma and Nodoka sat with their lawyer Mrs. Ohta in a room at the Education Center as they waited for Mrs. Morita to meet them.

"On a good note," exhaled Mrs. Ohta. "I got a call from Headmistress Nakata an hour ago," as she saw Genma and Nodoka nod. "Miyu passed her Grade Nine Exam. So, she's officially graduated compulsory education as of today."

"That's wonderful," praised Nodoka. "At least her studying paid off."

"Indeed," added Genma. "If only they didn't send her there to Correctional Education in the first place," as he grew misty eyed. "There were other ways to handle her issues."

"I get the impression," Mrs. Ohta said. "That they sent her there to send a message to other parents that they'll be met with consequences if they break the education laws," as she sighed. "The other good news is Miyu is scheduled to take her High School Exam on Monday," as they heard the door open. The trio saw Mrs. Morita walking in. She sat down.

"Let's keep this brief and to the point," Mrs. Morita began. "As you've no doubt heard Miss Saotome is off to a good start," as she took a breath. "Yet that's not why I called this meeting," as Nodoka and Genma nodded. "Correctional Education is paid for by the government from the housing to basic food, to the teens education, and programs they are under."

Mrs. Morita took a sip of water. She shook her head, looked away for a moment, sighed, and looked at Genma and Nodoka once more.

"If you want Miyu to be able to buy things for herself," continued Mrs. Morita. "You can send money each month for her to access an allowance there," as she paused for a moment. "Is that something you two would like to do?"

"I…I…would like that…" Nodoka began as she looked at her husband. She saw Genma nod in agreement. "We'd like that to support our daughter."

"How much are we allowed to send?" Genma asked. He coughed as he cleared his throat.

"The amount is up to you," replied Mrs. Morita. "You can also add a short message that gets passed onto your child if you wish," as she took another sip of water.

"Perfect," began Genma. He faced his wife and whispered into her ear. "As much as we can afford to?" He saw his wife agree with him.

"Aye," answered Nodoka. "Tell our daughter; we are sorry, that it's our fault she's there, that we love her," as she teared up. "And we know that she's likely extremely upset with us," as Mrs. Morita wrote it down. "That we hope she stays a good girl so we can see her soon," as Genma wrote an amount down and handed her his credit card.

"We'll do this amount," explained Genma as he saw Mrs. Morita get a huge, annoyed scowl on her face.

(What is her problem?) Genma thought. (It's almost like she doesn't even want to be doing this process at all.) He took a deep breath. (I wonder what is going on?)

"Very well," sighed Mrs. Morita as she looked at the time. "I'll pass the message, and someone will run your card through," as she gave a false smile. She bowed.

"Wait," cried Nodoka. "Is our daughter only allowed visits from family, or can friends visit as well at the Correctional Education for Girls?"

"That's up to you," replied Mrs. Morita. "Okay?" She saw them nod. "Good. This meeting is over. Bye," as she left the room in a hurry. The door closed behind her rather quickly.

"Well, that was a little rude," exhaled Genma as he sighed. "It's almost like she didn't want to do this step."

"For years," began Mrs. Ohta. "Many in the government opposed the freedoms teens have gotten in Correctional Education," as Genma's and Nodoka's eyes looked at her in surprise and shock. "Even though it's been part of the program for over a century."

"Oh, I see how it is," growled Nodoka. "Let me guess Mrs. Morita doesn't agree with the way the program is run?"

"Mrs. Morita has been an outspoken critic of the freedom given," confirmed Mrs. Ohta as she gave a frown. "She's of the opinion bad boys and girls don't deserve any freedom much less rewards," as she took a breath. "Usually, she is not that rude."

"I gather her opinion is in the minority," observed Nodoka as Mrs. Ohta nodded. "Now I get her hostility since she likely was one of the government employees who sent Miyu there."

"I like that the teens there get some freedoms," added Genma. "A year for Miyu will be a long time," as he held his wife's hand. "She'll already have it tough enough as it is."

"Indeed," agreed Mrs. Ohta. "As I said I've dealt with Mrs. Morita before. She's a sweet lady." She shook her head. "She means well, but she's also an old-fashioned woman who doesn't believe that compassion," as she took a deep breath. "Is necessary especially for teens who've made mistakes."

They heard the door open. Genma, Nodoka, and Mrs. Ohta saw a woman with black hair and black eyes walk into the room. She wore a black dress, socks, and high heels. She walked over and handed Genma his credit card. Her name tag read the name Kioka Chino.

"Mr. Saotome, Mrs. Saotome," Miss Chino began with a smile. "The payment has been made," as she bowed. "You can leave anytime. Thank you for showing up. Have a good day."

"Thank you," Genma and Nodoka replied. "Enjoy your day," as they stood up and began to get ready to leave the room with their lawyer…
